drake-sorority-video

Drake is the sh*t. The bomb diggity shiznit. Not only is he the hottest rapper on the planet right now (in terms of hype, people), he’s also probably impossible to get ahold of unless your name is Future or John Calipari.

So how dumb do you think the Kappa Kappa Gamma and Kappa Alpha Theta sisters at Drake University felt when they learned that Drizzy pulled up to their sorority house early Wednesday morning AND NO ONE ANSWERED THE DOOR?

People are trying to holler at Drake 24/7 and he comes to you, but you’re asleep. Shame. Shame. Shame.

To the victor go the spoils.

Fresh off of a dominant 2016 Indy Car campaign, Team Penske continues to improve their roster as they announced the signing of driver Josef Newgarden. Newgarden will drive the Number 2 Team Penske Chevrolet in the Verizon IndyCar Series starting in 2017.

A five-year veteran of the series, Newgarden finished a career-best fourth in the standings while driving for Ed Carpenter Racing in 2016. The Tennessee native had 11 Top 10s including a victory at the Iowa Corn 300. Newgarden will look to add to the success of Team Penske, who swept the top three spots in points last year including the IndyCar Series Champion, Simon Pagenaud.

In a statement released on Team Penske’s website, team owner Roger Penske said, “We are always looking to build toward the future and when we had the opportunity to talk with Josef, we knew that he would be a great fit to our program. He’s a fantastic driver on the track and and will be great with our partners off the track.”

Newgarden, the 2011 Indy Lights champion and an American Ninja Warrior participant, joins Team Penske after spending his whole career with Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing and Ed Carpenter Racing. Newgarden calls it a dream come true.

“For any open-wheel racer – or any race car driver in general – Team Penske is a dream job. I look forward to working with all of Team Penske’s great partners,” said Newgarden.

The 2017 IndyCar Series kick off in St. Petersburg, Florida on March 12, 2017.

After Watching ‘Westworld,’ Evan Rachel Wood Is Our New Favorite Actress

I won’t blame you for not being entirely sure who Evan Rachel Wood is. Up until her leading role in HBO’s new mega-hit, Evan Rachel Wood was only known for a handful of roles. She began her acting career with the 1990s with television shows such as American Gothic and Once and Again.

Wood continued acting, eventually breaking into film, with roles in Pretty Persuasion, Down in the Valley,  Running with Scissors and Across the Universe. Wood’s career began to really take off in 2008 when she began to appear in more mainstream films, such as The Wrestler,  Whatever Works, and The Ides of March.

Now, Wood’s career is sure to receive the attention it deserves, as her role in Westworld seems like it is going to be Emmy-caliber. HBO is hoping Westworld is their next Game Of Thrones, so get used to her, because we’re going to be seeing her all over for many years to come

Did Daft Punk Just Announce A 2017 Tour Via A Hidden Website?

Daft Punk Alive2017 Tour Rumors

(Jason Merritt/Getty Images)

Daft Punk have been notoriously secretive about their lives and plans, but a new website (Alive2017.com) that was discovered by Redditors might just point to an upcoming live tour from the French boogie monsters. Obviously, we’re going to have to wait to see if this is for real, but here’s what we can tell you about the website and rumors so far.

daft-punk-alive

If you head to the website, you’ll see a plain black background with the word “ALIVE” in all caps. But if you look closely behind the “I” you’ll notice a countdown timer that refreshes only occasionally. There’s a chance that if you dig deeper into the clock refreshment, you could find some more information, but our cursory knowledge of HTML keeps us from learning more. So we move on.

Hitting “inspect element” on the website brings up some interesting text that shows us this:

Those numbers at the beginning (top right) are actually locations for big cities like Paris, Los Angeles, London, New York, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Ibiza, and Indio, CA, which is the location of Coachella. The “Wake Date” at the end matches up with the countdown we mentioned above.

And perhaps the biggest clue is the final line, “SHEP LOGGED OUT” which seems like a direct reference to Insterstella 5555, the Daft Punk anime movie from a few years back.

Star Wars and video games both emerged into pop culture at the same time four decades ago, and over the years both have evolved together far past what anyone could imagine back in the ’70s. Unsurprisingly, the best Star Wars games ever created are available on this generation of consoles and PC hardware, with diverse adventures that sweep you across the cosmos to relive some of your favorite scenes from the movies and create adventures of your own. colorado-shooting-machete

A suspect at the University of Colorado has reportedly been shot in the stairwell of Champions Center, the Buffalos’ main athletic facility, after police responded to a man inside of a building armed with a machete.

What Happened?

Around 9:00 A.M. local time, a text message was sent to the CU police that a man was armed with a machete was running around the north side of CU-Boulder’s Folsom Field building. Dispatchers sent out an alert to people inside that area that they should shelter in place. Around 20 minutes later, police reported “shots fired,” and then confirmed that the suspect was down in one of the building’s stairwells.

The suspect is currently in custody.

Students are reporting that a campus-wide message was sent at 9:30 A.M., meaning that there was a full 30 minutes between the start and end of the situation. Here’s a reaction from a Reddit user who’s “currently on campus.”

I’m currently on campus and the scene seems to be relatively calm. What is discouraging though is that the Daily Camera reports that the 911 text came in to police just after 9 am, but students and staff weren’t sent an alert until 9:30 am. The alert said, “take appropriate protective action.” Honestly, what does that even mean? Should we shelter in place? Should we not go outside? Should we just not go near the Champion center? The University/CU Boulder Police could have been a little bit more specific in what type of action/or inaction students and staff should have taken.

Who Was Involved?

Information regarding the identity of the suspect is still being withheld by police.

This ‘FIFA 17’ Fail Compilation Will Remind You How Truly Infuriating Sports Video Games Can Be

COED loves ourselves some good FIFA. We got 17 the day it came out and have played every day since. With that being said, that doesn’t mean that we don’t get seriously frustrated with the game sometimes. We’ve coined the term ‘FIFA button’ to explain all the errant moves and passes the computer might make. For example, when they pass to someone on the opposite side of the field, despite a teammate being clearly right next to you. Or when you’ll press a button on defense, steal the ball, yet the computer will still carry out the defensive command you no longer need. It’s infuriating as all hell, and to be honest, I don’t know if EA Sports will ever truly fix it.

While FIFA has only been out for about a week, someone has already run into enough frustration that they were able to make an entire 5-minute long fail compilation video.

Ashley Mauch, Vanderbilt University

28-09-2016-19-10-28-phpoc6vvh

“[Vanderbilt] is the perfect mix of having a huge sports scene while being ranked as a Top 15 University nationally by US News and World Report. As a HUGE sports fan, being in the SEC (the best conference obviously) while being able to challenge myself academically was what truly solidified my decision to come to Vanderbilt. Not to mention, Vandy is located in Nashville, which I have found to be one of the most culturally rich cities I have ever found myself in.”

Holly O’Shea, University at Buffalo

“I absolutely love the city of Buffalo, especially the fact that it’s an amazing sports town. I love all of the people in it, and it was the perfect distance from my hometown, so I am able to be independent but I can still easily come home if it’s ever necessary. My actual school has amazing academic programs with connections and opportunities all throughout Buffalo and NYS, amazing study abroad opportunities, constant activities happening around campus, tons of D1 sports, clubs, and intramural athletics, and just everything I could ever want. Most importantly, all of the people I’ve met here truly make it feel like the perfect home for me.”

“I used to live in Charlotte, North Carolina and my whole life I dreamt of being a college cheerleader. Kentucky has one of the best cheer programs around, so my mom and I packed and moved to Kentucky and I chose to go to Western. Not only does it have a fantastic cheerleading program that I am proud to be a part of, but my school is better than the rest because it’s full of school spirit and it seems as if everyone knows everyone. We have a great Greek life that I am also proud to be apart of, and everybody is so friendly. Game days on the Hill are my favorite part of being a WKU student and cheerleader.”

“For the longest time, I had my heart set on NYC – my dream city. However as high school came closer and closer, I decided I was not ready for the huge change from Texas to New York City. My dad, who was an alumni from University of Louisiana at Lafayette, told me I should tour the campus. I was very hesitant at first, however when I visited, I absolutely fell in love. I loved the nice people, the amazing food, Greek life, and the beautiful campus. I cannot imagine being anywhere else. Sometimes God really has a better plan than you had for yourself!”

“The environment here in Lawrence is like none other; I felt it the first time I visited and I still feel it every day. LFK is definitely a gem in itself. KU also just got a brand new business building that opened up this year and it’s absolutely amazing. I’m so lucky to be able to spend the next four years here; I’m definitely in love with the school and the city. Our campus is gorgeous and is in such a great location. The school pride toward KU is wide and strong – every student is happy to be here and the whole town has love for this amazing school. The students at this school are from all over the world with so many different stories and experiences. It’s incredible to be surrounded by so many genuine people. Oh yeah, and we can’t forget about KU basketball. Rock Chalk!!!!”

UC Merced Is The Latest University Trying To Ruin Greek Life With Bullcrap Political Correctness

UC Merced Greek Life

(Jay Paul/Getty Images)

This upcoming rush season at UC Merced, the University has sent out instructions forbidding students involved in Greek life from using the word “Greek” in their recruitments. Furthermore, the UC Merced has also banned the use of the words “rush,” and “pledge,” as it promotes non-inclusiveness and implies hazing.

In recent years, Greek life, particularly fraternities, have come under fire for the themed parties, fundraising events, and hazing incidents. It is understandable that UC Merced would want to clean up Greek life for the better, however, a frat by any other name is still a frat.

Having personally attended the largest university in North America, Arizona State, and having seen first hand the crackdown of on-campus fraternities. I know that just changing the names of things isn’t going to change the way things are.

Fraternities and sororities will always be inclusive, and even more so at a school like UC Merced. While fraternities and sororities don’t make up the entire student body, they maintain a large pretense due to the small size of the school.

If UC Merced intends to curb the activities of Greek life, they’re going to have to do a lot more than just change the names of Greek life, pledging, and rushing. Greek life is going to continue doing what it’s doing in its all-inclusive style until more substantial measures are taken.

WATCH: Trailer For ‘Get Out,’ The Absolutely Horrifying New Movie From Jordan Peele

Get Out Horror Trailer

Jordan Peele (of Key and Peele) is known for his comedy, but this horror movie Get Out, which he wrote and directed, is going to have him laughing straight to the bank. Honestly, it’s probably one of the scariest movie trailers that we’ve ever seen. Like, it’s f*cking frightening. And we can’t wait to see it. Here’s a quick plot synopsis:

When a young African-American man visits his white girlfriend’s family estate, he becomes ensnared in a more sinister real reason for the invitation.

Now that Chris (Daniel Kaluuya, Sicario) and his girlfriend, Rose (Allison Williams, Girls), have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway upstate with Missy (Catherine Keener, Captain Phillips) and Dean (Bradley Whitford, The Cabin in the Woods).

At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he could have never imagined.

Maybe it’s the fact that the preview uses a ton of messed up violin strings, or maybe it’s the fact that this is almost a believable horror story perfect for the current times, but this movie is going to be a box office hit that M Knight Shalamadingdong is kicking himself over for not thinking of first.

NFL Teams Were Given Unique Pokemon And They Could Not Be More Accurate

Pokemon GO NFL Teams

The frontrunner for comeback player of the year is Pokémon. When Pokémon GO arrived in July, it was the app that everyone had to have. You could not walk more than 20-feet without seeing players refueling on Pokeballs or training their Charmander at a PokeGym. In fact, Pokémon GO became the fastest mobile game to make $500 million in revenue.

Despite Pokémon GO dropping in numbers, it is clear that the nostalgia of catching and playing Pokémon is alive more than ever. Pokémon has now found its way to the NFL. Uproxx has created unique Pokémon that represent each NFL team. That’s right, brand new Pokémon were created that highlight the characteristics of each team.

Let’s take a look at some of the best new creations. All pictures and descriptions are courtesy of Uproxx.

Buffalo Bills – Buffohno

Type: Ice, Normal

“A frequent sight in snowy northern field. Buffohnos are frequently intoxicated by super potions and will crash through tables.”

Hmm, crashing through tables? Does this describe their play on the field, since the Bills once lost four straight Super Bowls and have not made the playoffs since 1999? However, this could be a direct shoutout to Buffalo fans and the legendary #BillsMafia, where no tables are ever safe.

Kansas City Chiefs – Flairrowhead

Type: Fighting

“The Flairrowhead’s projectiles only travel less than 20 yards but fortunately it is very stout when in close quarters combat.”

The Chiefs have always been a physical team up front and on defense. That being said, leave Alex Smith alone! Game managers are not supposed to throw the ball more than 20 yards anyway so the joke is on the rest of the NFL.

Dallas Cowboys – Lassobra

Type: Ground, Poison

“The Lassobra has a very potent poison bite, but it frequently gets in its own way when trying to attack.”

I would be a millionaire for every time I heard a Cowboys fan say that “this is the year.” The recipe for success is there. The Cowboys boast the best offensive line in football, a stud running back, and a top-10 receiver. That being said, they also have a quarterback that can’t stay healthy, a top-10 receiver that is a head case, and an owner that’s name is Jerry Jones. Good luck trying to overcome those obstacles.

Indianapolis Colts – Bastallion

Type: Normal

“Said to be the luckiest Pokemon in existence, the Bastillion almost always manages to connect with attacks.”

Let’s just call this Pokémon by its true description: “We have Andrew Luck and without him, we are not a good team.”

New York Giants – Biggalugg

Type: Fighting

“Biggalug is a prized Pokemon for city dwellers and is used as bodyguard types against a hostile gang who call themselves The Patriots. It’s very hard to move and very powerful, but when toppled over it gets hurt easily and then can be walked all over.”

This one hit homes because I am a die-hard Giants fan. It does sting to know that the Giants are allergic to staying healthy and tend to put up a lot of disheartening performances. Did you watch the game in Minnesota last Monday? That being said, I will proudly boast the fact that no other NFL team can say. The Giants always beat Tom Brady and Bill Belichick in the Super Bowl. I will take that fact to my grave.

Check out more of the new Pokémon at Uproxx.

Welp, It’s Official: BYU Has The Most Lit Halftime Show In The Entire Country

I don’t remember much from the football games I attended throughout my college career. Rutgers usually sucked, and I was usually blacked out. Over my five (yes, motherf*cker, FIVE) years there, I probably only made it to a handful of games. Now, while I can’t remember what I was doing, I can tell you EXACTLY what I WASN’T doing, and that’s watching the halftime show.

The students of BYU, on the other hand, get to enjoy both decent college football, as well as a frankly dope halftime show. I think these dances are as overplayed as a Justin Bieber song, but seeing a dude in a full mascot suit get down like this is just awesome.

Plus, this is BYU we’re talking about people – the Mormon school for f*ck’s sake. Honestly though, I’m genuinely surprised they’re even allowed to have cheerleaders in the first place, let alone cheerleaders that dance like this.

Isn’t dancing illegal in the Mormon religion? Ya know, like a real life Footloose? That’s what I thought at least. Point being, this half time dance is dope, and definitely worth a minute of your time.

Here’s The Awful Way That Yao Ming’s AAU Coach Convinced Him To Dunk

$

(AP Photo/Eric Gay)

Yao Ming is an awesome guy, there’s no two ways about it. He came to the United States to represent the biggest country in the world (one admittedly not particularly loved here in the US) and came out a beloved celebrity by everyone, including Shaq, his biggest rival.

Amidst all of his dominance, physically and statistically, you would watch his game and see that, yes, here is a competitor, but also someone who wasn’t doing it in a selfish or flashy way. As Yao admitted firsthand in a new interview with Graham Bensinger (one of our favorite interviewers), dunking came very easy to him. I mean, he was 7’3″ at the age of 17. All he has to do is raise his hands above his head.

But still, it was something he never felt comfortable doing at a young age, specifically because he didn’t want to embarrass anyone. So one of his AAU coaches came up with a pretty cruel (but effective) way of making Yao dunk in his games. Check out how he got the team player to finally come around in the video below:

If you want to see more of the “In Depth Interview with Graham Bensinger” do yourself a favor and subscribe to his YouTube channel, or just peep the segments on his page here. Graham’s been doing some great interviews with key sports figures (including Shaq’s which are fantastic).

Also just because we’re talking about Yao Ming in AAU, here’s a photo of him playing back in those days for the San Diego-based team High 5 America.

In his first game of the Peach Jam he went 7-11 for 20 points, 9 rebounds, and three blocks. His coach told reporters that Yao didn’t have to get used to playing with anyone, it was his teammates who needed to get used to playing with him.

“‘The issue is not him integrating,’ coach Rle Nichols said. ‘It’s us integrating. It’s us learning how to play with a big man.”’ [source]

Ok, Odell, It’s Time To Stop Being a Prima Donna

This past Monday, Odell Beckham Jr accounted for a career-low in receiving yards with 23 against the Minnesota Vikings. Of those 23 yards, he lost 15 of them due to an un-sportsman like conduct penalty. After the game, Eli Manning called him out, saying that he brought this upon himself by allowing his emotions to get the better of him and in the end, cost the Giants a win.

Ever since bursting onto the scene in 2014, Odell Beckham Jr. has become a sensation throughout the NFL. His amazing one-handed catches and numerous touchdown catches have taken the league by storm. However, his transformation into a prima donna has given him an inflated ego, and ever since the game against the Carolina Panthers last season, defensive backs have found that it is quite easy to get under Beckham’s skin and disrupt his style of play.

Odell Beckham Jr.

Michael Reaves/Getty Images

Beckham has stated that his persona is the reason that he is being targeted by the refs, saying “If I sneeze the wrong way, it’ll be a flag,” “If I tie my shoe the wrong way it might be a fine.” However, that is not the case. It is the fact that he is letting other players to get under his skin and his refusal to back down when he is taunted that is costing him.

There’s a saying that when people taunt you that you should take their criticisms like “water off a duck’s back.” That is exactly what Odell Beckham Jr. should do. He is now a liability rather than an asset to the New York Giants, a liability that is costing the Giants wins. Winning is the most important thing in any sport because it erases all of the mistakes you’ve made. It was best said by the legendary Vince Lombardi, “Winning isn’t everything… It’s the only thing!”

On September 28, 6-year-old Jacob Hall was shot while in class at Townville Elementary School in Townville, South Carolina. Hall was shot by a 14-year-old gunman who opened fire on the Townville School playground during recess. While Jacob initially survived and was hospitalized, he was put on life support. Unfortunately, the all-too-young Hall died just a couple of days later on October 1. To pay tribute to the little boy, a superhero-themed funeral was held on Wednesday morning.

Hall was shot in a main artery in his thigh, causing massive blood loss leading to cardiopulmonary arrest, and died Saturday at Greenville Medical Center, his family said. Yesterday, the funeral service was held for Hall at Oakdale Baptist Church in Townville. To pay tribute to the slain little boy, the funeral was superhero-themed.

Due to Hall’s love for superheroes, attendees were asked to dress as superheroes, and the support was truly incredible. On Tuesday, members of the community in all shapes and sizes came out in hoards to honor Jacob. According to photos and videos from those in attendance, the line to get into to funeral literally stretched around the church. A line, of course, filled with superheroes.

Rest in peace, Jacob.

Tonight is the second game of the 2016 MLB Playoffs, with the National League playoffs kicking off with the wild card game between the New York Mets and the San Fransisco Giants. Tonight’s game -which will be played at Citi Field- is sure to be a pitching match for the ages with both teams sending out their aces. The Mets pitcher, 24-year-old Noah Syndergaard, finished the season with a 14-9 record, and a 2.60 ERA. The Giants ace, Madison Bumgarner, is one of the best postseason pitchers in history. For the 2016 season, Bumgarner finished with a 15-9 record with a 2.74 ERA.

Bumgarner has dominated the Mets in the past with a 1.80 ERA across six starts (5-0) and .189 batting average against. Bumgarner’s Giants come into the game after an 87-75 regular-season finish, making the playoffs despite playing 30-42 baseball over the second half of the season. The Mets also finished 87-75, however they finished the MLB season’s second half with an MLB best 27-12 record. Despite the Mets’ hot streak, injuries have taken their toll, with Matt Harvey, Jacob deGrom and Steven Matz all lost for the season with arm injuries.

Even though both the Mets and Giants both finished with 87 wins, the Mets will be hosting tonight’s game due to the Mets’ 4-3 record against the Giants in 2016. The winner of tonight’s game will face the #1 seed Chicago Cubs in what will be an epic NLDS, so make sure you find out how to watch tonight’s National League Wild Card Game below!

American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare continues its awesome sixth season tonight with its fourth episode, ‘Chapter 4’! The sixth season of the FX horror anthology television series American Horror Story premiered on September 14, 2016, the first time the series has debuted outside of October in its history.  Up until the season premiere, little was known about the season’s theme. At one point, creator Ryan Murphy said the season will be “more rogue” and “dark,” in contrast to the previous season, Hotel. After the release of pictures taken from the set in Santa Clarita, it was widely speculated that the season will incorporate the infamous 1590s Roanoke Colony disappearance, which ended up being true. This was the first season not to release a subtitle before the premiere since the first season. Prior to the season premiere, it was widely reported by the media that the subtitle will be American Horror Story: The Mist. That proved to be wrong, however, as we now know it is entitled Roanoke. The premiere episode revealed the season to be depicted as a paranormal documentary entitled My Roanoke Nightmare which reenacts the experiences of a married couple who relocate to Roanoke Island, North Carolina. The season 6 finale is scheduled to air on November 16, 2016.

Returning cast members from previous seasons include Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Denis O’Hare, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Wes Bentley, Cheyenne Jackson andAdina Porter. New additions to the cast are Cuba Gooding Jr. and André Holland. Roanoke has received generally favorable reviews, with critics noting its subdued aesthetic and pacing in comparison to earlier seasons of the series.

It was also just announced this past week that American Horror Story was renewed for it’s seventh (!!!) season.

Gears of War 4

The shooter world is dominated by first-person efforts, and that may well be that any third-person fragfest would feel too much like a clone of a Gears of War game. Since the Xbox 360 years, the series has carved out some defining traits that it did so much better than any other game out there, that it came to thoroughly own them. From moving cover-to-cover to screen-splattering executions and cooperative Horde mode multiplayer, Gears has done its thing so well that it’s chased off the crowd of wannabes to stand alone. So as the most anticipated Xbox One exclusive of 2016, Gears of War 4 will be both celebrated and chided for being more of the same. From the first instant, everything about the game nails that distinctive Gears feel. If that’s not enough to get you pumped, you just may be a decapitated Locust.

Game: Gears of War 4
Consoles: Xbox One (reviewed), PC
Publisher: Microsoft Studios
Developer: The Coalition
Release Date: October 11

The campaign opens up with a rundown of the series’ highlights, giving you alternate perspectives from major events in humanity’s battle against the grotesque, insect-like menace it has battled throughout the decades. Told from the perspective of flashbacks at an event honoring war veterans, the kickoff hits just the right notes to initiate new players and ignite a rush of exuberant memories for experienced players. Once the story proper gets going, 20 years after previous events, you find yourself getting to know the four main characters you are among at all times, in a design that naturally lends itself to four-player online co-op. Even when playing solo, these squadmates are invaluable allies. You can swap weapons with them, call upon them to revive you when you’re down or draw cover fire as you rush through to infiltrate an enemy encampment.

Past Gears games — especially the first two — shamelessly pandered to the dudebro set, with high-fives and goofy chants that were straight out of early 2000s frat flicks. The later games moved away from such silliness, and Gears of War 4 continues that trend. While this is still a game squarely for the male audience, the inclusion of a tough, stereotype-shattering female co-lead helps keep things grounded, resonating much more than Halo 5‘s addition of female Spartans whose femininity was buried underneath opaque visors. There’s still plenty of rah-rah spirit, but the main protagonist — franchise favorite Marcus Fenix’s son, JD — is less a Vin Diesel or Dwayne Johnson clone like his daddy and more of an everyman, Mark Wahlberg type. As a result, the dialogue has relatable human moments in addition to halftime speech maxims.

The campaign lives up to the rock-solid precedent set by previous Gears games, and remains an absolute must-play before you get serious about multiplayer. Adversarial multiplayer is bolstered with varied, creative maps and a matchmaking system that vets the unwashed masses to stick you with comparable opponents. The most intriguing draw is still the marathon-style war of attrition that is Horde 3.0. Teaming with a squad of you and your buddies, or strangers the algorithms decide to throw you into the fray with, the onslaught of increasingly vicious and powerful baddies — combined with between-match adjustments — make for an MMO-style thrillride that can easily eat up entire nights of your focused scowls and fist-pumps. No other mode in all of gaming does a better job of making you feel like you and your allies are brothers in arms. The sacrifices you make for one another and heart you display in backing each other up can forge bonds that extend to the real world.

Stylized visuals maintain the vaguely comic book-style feel of past Gears games, but this is unsurprisingly the most visually striking game in the series. What truly makes Gears of War 4 click, though, is its heart. There’s a reason the series continued to thrive on the multiplayer scene, even during weaker entries such as Gears of War: Judgment. Developers The Coalition passionately embraced every aspect about what made the past games work, while subtly modernizing the franchise as a whole, moving it to a place in which it can be as seriously as a sci-fi wartime drama you’d find in literature or film. Gears of War 4 is the best game in the series because of course it is. Microsoft gave the developers the time and resources it took to do the series justice, and the way they not only listened to criticisms of past games, but applied what they learned as superfans themselves, shines through in every aspect of the game. Gears of War 4 slays with the brutal precision of its trademark chainsaw bayonet executions.

The Car Dealer That Sold Anton Yelchin The Jeep That Killed Him Claims Death Was His Own Fault

Painful story to open the day with, but here we go: the Valencia, California Chrysler dealership filed its response to the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Anton’s parents , wherein they listed a slew of reasons why it should not be held responsible for anything related to Anton’s fatal accident back in June.

According to TMZ, the court documents from the lawsuit say the dealer says Anton’s death was the result of his own “misuse, misapplication, or damage” of the Jeep Grand Cherokee that rolled and crushed him. It’s not spelled out, but the dealer seems to be hinting Anton made aftermarket changes that damaged the SUV.

Furthermore, Chrysler also believes his parents didn’t preserve the vehicle as it was at the time of the accident , which would therefore compromise critical evidence in the case. As a result, the dealership is asking the judge to cut them loose from the lawsuit.

It looks like an ugly story is only going to get uglier as time goes on. While I understand Chrysler’s inherent need to cover their own ass, I’m pulling for Yelchin’s parents, who deserve some semblance of closure, and the ability to begin to move on.

Here’s That Super Racist “Watters’ World” Segment That Got Fox News In Trouble

First words out of this guy’s mouth is: “Am I supposed to bow when I say hello?” Jesus, Jesse. In what other setting– professional or otherwise –would that be acceptable? Imagine he said that at a business meeting. Or a dinner party. Sh*t, imagine he just said to an Asian person who was having a bad day. Point is, this kind of behavior is unacceptable. He accuses a street vendor of selling stolen goods. He adds subtitles to a guy speaking perfectly comprehensible English.

I haven’t even mentioned the fact that this whole segment is set to the song ‘Kung-Fu Fighting’.

Unsurprisingly, Watters almost immediately started backtracking:

However, this probably comes as a surprise to no one — this has been Watters’ shtick for years. Watters has a long history of creating segments for “Watters’ World” often aimed at making ordinary people look stupid (which is pretty easy to do considering the ability to edit footage).

Dude is the definition of white privilege and has frankly been a prick for years and I’m glad to see his horrible taste, judgement, and sense of humor have finally caught up with him.

Maybe the most disgusting part of the whole video is when Watters and O’Reilly are sucking each other off at the end of the video, chalking up what we just saw to ‘all in good fun’.
