I’m going to The Meadows festival in Queens next weekend and I honestly could not be more excited. While New York City is undoubtedly the greatest city in the world, it’s music festival scene is severely lacking. Other than Governor’s Ball (which is run by the same company, Founders Entertainment, there aren’t many festival options in the NYC area. Luckily for us New Yorkers, that will all be changing soon, with the first annual The Meadows festival.The Meadows, a music and arts festival set to take place this fall in New York City’s historic borough of Queens.

The Sigma Chi brothers at the University of Central Florida have a pretty dope fraternity house they call home, complete with dogs, nice rooms, and some dope whips in the back. We know this because B) it’s our job to know who has great houses and B) because College Weekly just made a sweet video about their crib. Obviously, I’d have been much happier with this house than what we had at Gettysburg, but there’s something I can’t quite put my finger on that’s weird.

Maybe if we rewatch the video below, we’ll be able to figure it out.

Ahh, yes. That’s it. We know that attractive chicks will flock to great fraternity houses, but what’s up with them hopping on the sticks? Do girls even play FIFA? I’m not trying to be sexist, and I know that one of the controllers actually looks pink, but I’m genuinely surprised at this.

But you know what, shout out the Sigma Chi brothers for passing the sticks.

Marika Fruscio is the extremely attractive Italian sports presenter on Channel 7 Gold who’s famous for two things mostly, and the antics that they get up to on live television. Earlier this year, Fruscio went viral because of an incident where she had a slight wardrobe malfunction on live television. But that little mishap only brought her to the attention of Americans. Italians have known about Marika Fruscio for years.

She’s a huge Napoli fan and has the great position of getting to meet and greet some of her favorite soccer stars. She takes a ton of photos when she meets them. She also takes a ton of photos when she’s all by herself. In fact, this Facebook page of Marika Fruscio has more selfies of the same outfit than we’ve ever seen from a single person, ever. Not that we’re complaining, of course, we only mention it because we pulled together a select few that will give you a good idea of just who Marika is.

In case you can’t tell, I love the original Bad Santa. When I think of the funniest movies from my adolescence, this is always near the top. While the sequel will inevitably be a letdown and inferior to the original, I’m still hella excited for it and there’s nothing you can say that will change my mind.

I mean, there could be a little hope. 22 Jump Street was decent, right? And Horrible Bosses 2 was also okay. The original Bad Santa was funnier than either of those original movies, so we still got hope the sequel will follow suit.

“I bet that p*ssy got lips like an orangutan.” Wow. At the very least, this movie will be just as dirty, if not dirtier than the original.

American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare continues tonight! The sixth season of the FX horror anthology television series American Horror Story was announced on November 10, 2015, and premiered on September 14, 2016, the first time the series has debuted outside of October in its history.  Up until the season premiere, little was known about the season 6 theme. At one point, creator Ryan Murphy said the season will be “more rogue” and “dark,” in contrast to the previous season, Hotel. After the release of pictures taken from the set in Santa Clarita, it was widely speculated that the season will incorporate the infamous 1590s Roanoke Colony disappearance, which ended up being true. This was the first season not to release a subtitle before the premiere since the first season. Prior to the season 6 premiere, it was widely reported by the media that the subtitle will be American Horror Story: The Mist. That proved to be wrong, however, as we now know it is titled “Roanoke.” The premiere episode revealed the season to be depicted as a paranormal documentary entitled My Roanoke Nightmare which reenacts the experiences of a married couple who relocate to Roanoke Island, North Carolina. South Park kicked off its 20th season last week with the hilarious “Member Berries” episode, and will continue this week with “Skank Hunt.” Despite Eric Cartman’s repeated declarations in “Memeber Berries” that he is not skankhunt43, the online troll, “Skank Hunt” follows the boys as they embark on a mission to expose Cartman. The promo for South Park Season 20, episode 2 titled “Skank Hunt” revolves around global terror and Cartman. “The boys decide they have to take down Cartman but meanwhile, Skank Hunt takes his reign of terror global,” reads the South Park season 20, episode 2 promo.

Since the episode will focus on global terror, it will be interesting to see how the creators will bring in the element of terror and the fight between the Giant Douche and Turd Sandwich.

“Skank Hunt” Preview

Normally when people think about the Thursday Night Football game, it is a matchup of two teams that don’t get a ton of attention. This Week 3 matchup between the Houston Texans and New England Patriots is a completely different story. Both teams come into this game with 2-0 records and have a lot of expectations for them to win their divisions this season. Which team will be the one that comes out of this one in Foxborough with a 3-0 record? Here is a look at the matchup.

The Texans pulled out a 19-12 win over the Kansas City Chiefs last week at home and now hit the road for the first time this season on a short week. Brock Osweiler has been solid over his first two starts with Houston, throwing for 499 yards and three touchdowns but also has three interceptions. Lamar Miller has 189 yards rushing while rookie Will Fuller has nine catches for 211 yards to lead the receiving corps. DeAndre Hopkins is leading the team in catches and could be in line for a big night. The defense should have a field day dealing with New England’s Jacoby Brissett in his first NFL start. This should be a great chance for the Texans to remain undefeated before going home again next week.

The Patriots began their home schedule with a 31-24 win over the Miami Dolphins after holding on for the win. They lost Jimmy Garoppolo to a shoulder injury and it’s not clear whether or not he will play in this game leaving it up to rookie Jacoby Brissett. Brissett went 6-for-9 for 92 yards after coming in for Garoppolo last week and now has a short week to prepare for a very good Houston defense. It will be a challenge for him. LeGarrette Blount has rushed for 193 yards and two touchdowns and must have a huge game. Julian Edelman leads the team in catches with 14 for 142 yards. New England is just trying to hold on until Tom Brady returns from his suspension.

His new movie with Owen Wilson and Kristen Wiig, Masterminds, also looks terrible. And it’s a shame because when he wants to be — when he does this awkward humor — he’s hilarious.

Between Two Ferns has always been funny, but this surprisingly may be the funniest one. This is the type of PR that Hillary Clinton needs, to be honest. Ya know, to show that she’s capable of basic human emotions such as sarcasm and humor.

Druw Bowen, a West Virginia University freshman with the most West Virginia first name we’ve ever seen, just made an incredible catch during football practice. Yeah, we know it’s practice and whatever, but this kid had hands all over him in the end zone and made a grab that would make ODB Jr jealous. I mean, this catch made ESPN SportsCenter’s Top 10 at the #9 spot.

Right now it doesn’t look like Druw’s gotten on the field, but maybe this is going to help his chances. WVU is currently sitting 2-0 and plays BYU this weekend, everyone’s least favorite college team. Check out the highlight below.

Woah. First of all, this cop is impressive. He sounds super f*cking young. Way too young to have any sort of experience in this kind of matter. But this cop, Officer Michael Blackmore, absolutely hits it out of the park. With all the negative headlines surrounding the police this past year, it’s always nice to be reminded of the genuinely good job 90% of our law enforcement is doing.

In footage from his body camera, Officer Michael Blackmore can be seen talking to a man crying and saying he no longer wants to live. The officer tried to calm the man in a handful of ways before finding the right approach with football.

Eventually the man said “I hate Dallas,” cluing the officer in.

The officer found out the man was a Washington fan and went with that angle.

“I’ll see you sometime next week one day and say ,’How about those Redskins?’ I’m definitely gonna pull for them when they play Dallas because I hate Dallas,” the officer said.
Blackmore and another officer were able to help the man get down from the edge of the bridge soon after that.

So, a new Netflix original came out today called Easy. It seemed super hipster and millennial-ish, so naturally, I had zero interest. All these late-20-something Brooklyn-based comedies are starting to blend together these days anyway. But as I was minding my own business, scrolling through Netflix, I noticed something in the preview for the show. What did I notice? None other than my all-time dream girl, Emily Ratajkowski.

Now, if you’ve read my writing before, you know that Emily may be my favorite girl in the history of mankind. To be honest, I’m relatively convinced she’s the next stage in human evolution. Here’s the Rabona free kick, something that’s been introduced in previous versions of FIFA, although you might not have seen it before. The Rabona is only available to players with the “Rabona flair,” which is pretty much only Cristiano Ronaldo (although some sites say that it’s also available to Neymar). Things looked especially scary for people and businesses in Charlotte last night, and protests that had started peacefully eventually erupted into violence. Multiple police officers and civilians were shot and injured. Protestors started blocking highways and streets. So Reynolds, who’s been covering the whole situation, suggested at around 9:00 P.M. to his followers that they run over protestors blocking the highways. The exact words he used was “run them down,” which (if we’re being honest with ourselves) is a little bit more aggressive than “run them over.”

For his tweet, Reynolds was suspended from Twitter. Reynolds is certainly not the only one to suggest running over protestor, but nonetheless, Twitter decided to suspend his account for writing offensive content. Almost immediately, his followers started to show their support.

He was reinstated back onto social media this morning, but only after promising Twitter that he’d delete the offensive tweet.

Honestly, I’m not really too sure how I feel about @Instapundit getting suspended from Twitter. It’s not as though the protests we saw on the news were protests, I would certainly classify those as riots. Obviously, the media is going to cover what they think is exciting (the violence), but the images and videos we saw of assaults and attacks are not what we would consider protests.

The situation that Glenn is referring to is very similar to what happened here in NYC a few years ago, when a gang of bikers assaulted Alexian Lien’s Range Rover. Lien felt that he was in danger, and then ran over a member of the bike gang in an attempt to escape them. Everybody agreed that Lien was well within his rights to do so. So in a situation where people are looting and attacking drivers in a car, why wouldn’t you want to drive out there by whatever means necessary?

Yes. Yes, you would.

But that brings us back to the term “run them down” which is 100 billion times more aggressive than even “run them over.” Glenn Reynolds is a smart man, his choice of words were meant to be inflammatory. So while we disagree with Twitter’s decision to suspend his account, we can understand it. That being said, it’ll be interesting to see how the University of Tennessee follows up with this story. Apparently, they’re not commenting on this at the moment.

Wow. If you haven’t heard of or seen this new TLC show Love At First Kiss, then, well, prepare yourself… it’s a doozy. It came out about a month ago, yet it’s just started popping up on the internet this past week. Naturally, it may be the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever experienced.

Meet Josh. He is 27 years old, and he’s never kissed a girl, which makes him the PERFECT candidate for a show about kissing being your first interaction with a stranger. So the show throws 3 cute girls at the dude, with the goal of either A) getting the dude his first kiss, B) to disturb audiences across the nation, or C) both. I’m going with both.

In all honesty, I truly feel sorry for the girls who were put through this, because, frankly, the results are nothing short of horrifying:

Then, he finally has a “successful” kiss (even though, like, seriously, what is TLC’s definition of successful? Because this is by far the most brutal kiss I’ve ever witnessed in my life.):

FIFA is finally back with the release of FIFA 17! FIFA 17 is the latest soccer video game in the FIFA series, scheduled to be released on September 27, 2016 in North America. This will be the first FIFA game in the series to use the Frostbite game engine. In July of 2016, it was announced that, after a public vote, Marco Reus would feature on the cover of the game.

FIFA 17 will feature a new single-player story campaign mode titled “The Journey” for PS4, Xbox One and Windows where players assume the role of Alex Hunter, a young footballer trying to make his mark in the Premier League. The player will be able to select one of 20 Premier League clubs to play for at the beginning of the season. The player can play any position including goalkeeper. The story mode also features a dialogue wheel, similar to the Mass Effect series. As for the main character in “The Journey”, Alex Hunter is a 17-year-old multiracial male from Clapham, London. Hunter’s grandfather is former English striker Jim Hunter. Under his grandfather’s guidance, Hunter has decided to play as a footballer in the Premier League, which is where the player will pick up the story.

EA Sports announced at E3 2016 that they will have all 20 Premier League managers’ likenesses in the game. The new features in FIFA 1 7 include new attacking techniques, physical player overhaul, active intelligence system and set piece rewrite.
