I can only imagine that there are few things in life more awesome than being pimped out to impregnate two fine females. That’s like every dude’s fantasy. So when Bantu The Gorilla was getting geared up to be transported to another zoo for mating purposes, it was like his ship had finally come in. This was his moment, after being trapped in a Mexican zoo for years, that he would finally be have his cake and eat it too.

But then, tragedy…

Bantu was given the sedative last night as vets prepared to transfer him to a different city in Mexico to mate with two females.

However, before they could set off on the trip, the 24-year-old gorilla suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest and passed away, officials said. Frantic efforts to resuscitate him failed, Mexico City’s environment department said in a statement, citing a preliminary autopsy.

Too soon! He was taken from us too soon.

Now obviously this is awful timing after Harambe, but this story is also just tragic because of the circumstances that it happened.

Though many have said Jordan Spieth is the new Tiger Woods, Spieth’s earnings could argue that he’s well on his way to gaining even more wealth than his predecessor. Formerly ranked number one in the Official World Golf ranking, this golf pro is a two-time major winner and the defending FedEx Cup champion at just 23 years of age. In April 2016, Time magazine named Jordan Spieth one of their “100 Most Influential People,” noting that he “exemplifies everything that’s great about sports.”

Out of the $22 million, Spieth pulled in $10 million from the FedEx Cup bonus, which surpassed Tiger Woods’ winnings by a hair over $1 million.

To reward himself, Spieth bought his own place. It’s a house in the Preston Hollow neighborhood of Dallas that cost Spieth $2.3 million. The 7,400 square foot mansion features five bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, and a 288-bottle wine closet. He’s got a lot to celebrate for.

Coming out of a record-breaking year, Spieth isn’t taking it easy. In the 2016 season, he’s made $4 million already and ranked third on the PGA Tour Money List.

Over the course his four-year career, Spieth has an accumulated earning of $34 million. And he just turned 23.

On top of that, his multi-million dollar endorsement deals with big names such as Under Armour, Titleist, AT&T, Rolex, Super Strokes, Perfect Sense and Net Jets are not to be overlooked. He even starred in an AT&T commercial which aired during the Masters 2016 which also featured his parents, his caddie Michael Greller, and Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

I am not a kid, although I act like one, and I don’t live in Greenville, South Carolina, but I am still scared to death of the stories that clowns in the town are allegedly luring children into the woods with money.

The video below lays it all out for you, but the quick rundown is that numerous children near the Fleetwood Manor apartment complexes in Greenville, SC have reported seeing men wearing white face paint trying to lure them into the woods. When that didn’t work, the clowns showed them large wads of cash.

Like it wasn’t scary enough that clowns are out there in the woods, but the fact that they know kids today would much rather have cash money than just a fun clown show? That makes this situation a billion times worse. The clowns are evolving.

What Happened?

A mother living at the Fleetwood Manor apartments claimed that her son told her about a clown that tried to draw him into the woods. The mother obviously didn’t believe him, but the next day when all of his friends asked her if she had seen the clown, she called for backup.

What Can We Do?

Burn down the whole forest. Round up every clown in a twenty-mile radius and kill them all. Sure, you say, but what about the innocent clowns? To that, we say there’s no such thing as an innocent clown. It’s 2016. You think kids still like clowns? They’re busy watching Pewdiepie and playing VR video games, not wearing balloon hats.

The only person who wants to be a clown today is someone who’s open to luring kids into woods with cash. And I don’t want those kinds of people around anymore.

The New York Jets were so close to the playoffs last season that they could practically smell it. A loss in their regular season finale ended their chances, even with a 10-6 record. As the 2016 season arrives, the Jets have a team that can make some serious noise in the AFC East and could even challenge for the division title if everything falls right. Here are the three burning questions around the Jets going into the new season.

Who will be the New York Jets’ starting quarterback?

Ryan Fitzpatrick should be the one under center on September 11 against the Bengals but the team did draft Christian Hackenberg in the second round. Hackenberg is being groomed to be the starter sooner than later and if Fitzpatrick or Geno Smith struggle, he could be in there before the end of the season.

How about the run game?

Matt Forte has signed with the team and still has a lot left in the tank. Forte could turn into a star in New York with his ability to run the ball and catch it out of the backfield. Chris Ivory was good last season and the team could easily use both in the backfield. It is a story worth watching very closely.

Is the New York Jets’ defense going to perform much better?

After allowing just 19.6 points a game last season which was top-10 in the whole NFL, Darrelle Revis and company will be attempting to take things to the next level. The division is theirs for the taking if they can start fast while New England is without Tom Brady. Revis is a leader who will be hard to stop while looking for a ring.

Columbus State has issued a warning to students to stay indoors and away from Clearview Hall. The Cougar Alert, the automated alert system at Columbus State, described a suspect as a black male, 17 to 19-years-old, wearing dark clothes and a stocking cap.

Despite what some reports might say, the school tweeted out that there is no active shooter at this time. Just stay indoors or away from Clearview Hall.

What Happened?

At around 12:00 PM EST, Columbus State University sent an alert to the faculty and students that a possibly armed male had been spotted near Clearview Hall.

Police are now on the scene and actively searching for the suspect.

I mean, everyone loves dessert for breakfast, but not if you’re trying to watch your weight.

28-Year-old Jordan Fragiacomo had to be restrained and arrested on an Alaskan Airlines flight Monday, after he was incoherently grabbing people’s drinks, headphones, and faces (to kiss). The Alaska Airlines flight was headed from JFK to Seattle, but had to make an emergency landing in Minneapolis at 9:45 A.M. Monday.

To the several flight attendants and two off-duty pilots who had to restrain Jordan, it was clear that he was under the influence of something. They just didn’t know what. So imagine the surprise of everyone in the room when he told authorities that he had taken “the date-rape drug GHB, in addition to unknown amounts of cocaine and Xanax, three hours before the flight.”

Wait, this dude took a bunch of roofies and then freaked out on the plane?

What Happened?

Here’s a description of what happened from the NY Post:

Jordan Fragiacomo… tried to open a rear exit door on an Alaska Airlines flight Monday after babbling incoherently and attempting to kiss two flight attendants, according to a police report.

“If you continue to restrain me, there’s going to be problems,” Fragiacomo said at one point…

Fragiacomo then tried to smooch a flight attendant before deciding he wanted to “get off the flight” and bolted toward the back door.

Several flight attendants and two off-duty pilots were able to finally restrain him, but not before he grabbed a second attendant and once again tried to plant a kiss on her.

Maybe he thought some xanbars and roofies would help to counteract the cocaine he had done? But the question is, “What was he even doing with roofies?” What is anyone doing with roofies?

Who is Jordan Fragiacomo?

Jordan is a 28-year-old personal barber who lives in Hell’s Kitchen and is a personal barber, who offers a hot shave “in the privacy of your own home.”

I have been enjoying Battlefield 1 a good amount, but I still can’t seem to get many kills unless I’m in a tank.

Maybe it’s because GUYS LIKE THIS ARE SNIPING ME AND MY SQUAD EXTREME DISTANCES. Maybe that’s why I can’t stay alive for more than one minute, which is coincidentally the exact amount of time it takes to get within sight of an objective.

But in all seriousness, this some major PWNG. Nice work to whoever is sniping here.

I’m definitely excited to load this game up tonight and try it some more. Maybe I’ll switch to a sniper and see how that works. Personally, I like the game a decent amount (considering its still a beta) and I’m more excited to play the final version now that I’ve tried it out.

I will always believe that Tim Tebow didn’t get a fair run in the NFL, but the guy is flat-out mediocre at baseball. He’s not good at all. Yes he can hit fastballs, but the guy is garbage in the field. So I’ve been kind of wondering to myself why it was that he decided to try out some hardball.

And then I saw on an interview he was doing for the NFL that Tim was wearing an Adidas logo. And then I noticed that he was wearing Adidas for the tryouts. Which is weird, I thought, because I always thought of him as a Nike kind of guy. Turns out, I was right.

So what gives?

Turns out Tebow signed an apparel deal with Adidas, announced first by ESPN and then by Yahoo Sports. The story first ran by Darren Rovell doesn’t give too much information or detail, but it confirms that deal was signed right before the baseball publicity. “Sources said there was always an active dialogue between Tebow and shoe and apparel companies. His attempt to make it in baseball accelerated that timeline.”

It makes complete sense that Adidas would want their name and logo on the biggest sideshow this Summer. That’s called free advertising on one of the biggest stars in sports. Of course everyone at ESPN knows what’s going on and how they’re being cut out of the advertising deal, but ESPN will still show the footage and interview because it’s Tim Tebow! And everyone loves Tim Tebow.

On Thursday morning, September 1st 2016 theres’ going to be a an annual solar eclipse, or “ring-of-fire eclipse.” Sadly unless you’re living in Africa, you’re not going to be able to see it in person.

But the good news is that this is such a cool event that someone has created a live stream for the solar eclipse. The bad news is that it starts pretty early. Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the eclipse from the comfort of your own home.

What Is An Annual Eclipse?

An Annular Eclipse is similar to a Total Solar Eclipse, in that the Moon moves directly between the Earth and the Sun. But, unlike during a Total Solar Eclipse, the Moon does not completely obscure the Sun. During an Annular Eclipse, the Moon is farther away from the Earth, making it appear smaller. Therefore, the Moon only covers most of the solar disk leaving a “ring of fire” around the outer edge.

Katie Rogers of the New York Times released an article earlier today about kids in South Carolina who reported a group of clowns attempting to lure them into the woods in Greenville County. Multiple reports have been filed by police and are currently looking into the legitimacy of the situation. Instead of waiting for law enforcement to take action, some residents have taken it into their own hands and have began firing “shots in the direction of the wooded area”. These guys just earned a spot onto the list of people I will forever hate and never understand. It doesn’t get any more creepier or psychotic. Like, why is it so hard for people to act normal? It’s so much easier to sit at home and do nothing than it is to leave your home and take part in some creepy/illegal shit. So why do people do it?!?

The only thing that upsets me more than these psychopaths is the women who reportedly waved back to one of the clowns and didn’t think anything of it. Because I guess it’s normal for a man to be walking in the middle of the night dressed as clowns and waving to people.

Stay at home and be normal. It’s a lot easier than you think.

A “Language Matters” campaign going on at Rutgers University prompted this RA to post signs on a bulletin board, basically telling students to speak only if it is “helpful” or “necessary”. You can view pics of the exact poster board below and thank Campus Reform for providing them.

This is something we were taught by our parents as soon as we learned how to talk ; “If you have nothing kind to say, don’t say anything at all”. But how many people actually listen to that? Nobody. I don’t even listen to it. But replace the word “kind” with “necessary”, and you have yourself a rule of life that I and everyone should stand by.

“If you have nothing necessary to say, don’t say anything at all”. Perfect. Words to live by. Start teaching these elementary and middle school kids as soon as possible, because it’s not to late for them.

I actually applied to be an RA and am kind of bummed I didn’t get the position. But I guys they were just looking out for the safety of the kids because I straight up told the interviewers that “I will keep it quiet during quiet hours, by any means necessary”.

Applaud this RA. And let’s all take a moment to acknowledge how sucky it must be to be one.

The Detroit Lions tried for years to win a title for Calvin Johnson. Detroit’s final chance went out the window last season as the Lions went just 7-9 and Johnson decided to retire. As the 2016 season approaches, Detroit needs to replace Megatron and find a way to get back into playoff contention in the process. It could be a very difficult task. Here are the three burning questions that surround the Lions moving forward this season.

Will the Lions run game ever improve?

Detroit was dead last in rushing yards per game last season and has to get better by leaps and bounds. The only way for the Lions to get back to the playoffs is if they are not a one-dimensional team anymore behind Matthew Stafford. Ameer Abdullah has to have more than 597 yards on the ground.

Who is Stafford going to throw to?

There is still Golden Tate and the newly-acquired Marvin Jones but the key is Eric Ebron. The big tight end that was a top-10 pick not long ago must become a huge part of the Detroit offense. Stafford needs a security blanket like he had in Johnson. Ebron needs to be that blanket for his quarterback.

How will the defense improve?

This is a huge problem that Detroit has had for a long time. They did draft Alabama defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in the second round and he is a massive stud in the middle. Something had to change especially with great quarterbacks throughout the NFC North. A better defense is going to lead to more wins for the Lions in 2016.

September is shaping up to be a high point of the year for sports-minded gamers. Start with the sure-to-be excellent hoops sim NBA 2K17, followed by fuel for soccer fanatics in the form of PES 2017. The wildcard in the equation is NASCAR Heat Evolution, which could be the game that sports racing fans have always hoped for. A pair of Microsoft-published titles, shooting sensation ReCore and open-world racing sim Forza Horizon 3, hold more universal appeal.

If you game on both the Xbox One and the PC, upcoming first-party releases are an answer to your prayers. NC State is going d*cks out for their first college football game against the William & Mary Tribe tonight. Apparently, a Snapchat geofilter featuring everyone’s favorite gorilla, reading “Harambe Backs The Pack” was approved for their game tonight.

Honestly, I can’t believe that Snapchat would give something like that the green light, especially after the Cincinnati Zoo asked people to stop making memes, but I guess that there are supporters and mourners everywhere.

On a slightly different note, I think that there’s going to be a serious spike in d*ck pics tonight, solely in support of Harambe and the NC State.

One of the best stories of the 2015 NFL season was the Arizona Cardinals and their 13-3 record that took them all the way to the NFC Championship Game before they lost to the Carolina Panthers. The 2016 season has now arrived and with that comes big expectations to take the next step and get to the Super Bowl in Houston in early February. There are three burning questions that must be answered for the Cardinals if they are going to make their way to Super Bowl LI.

Can Carson Palmer put together another huge season?

Palmer threw for 4,671 yards last season and 35 touchdowns. It’s going to be hard to put together another season like that especially with his advanced age and a much more solid running game now with David Johnson. Palmer needs to stay healthy and on the field if Arizona is going to have any chance, though.

Is David Johnson the real deal?

In the limited action that he did have last season, Johnson was showing some Pro Bowl ability. There are a lot of people very high on him and think that he will take the leap into the elite running backs this coming season. The key will be whether or not he can actually live up to the expectations, though.

Is the defense going to be stellar again?

The Arizona defense gave up just 19.6 points a game last season which was tied for 7^th in the league. It is a very solid NFC West and the schedule has some high-flying teams on it in 2016. It’s going to be a tall task for the Cardinals to give up just 20 points a game with teams like the Saints and Patriots and their high-flying offenses waiting.

Texas Tech has their season opener at home in Lubbock, TX against Stephen F. Austin, but there’s one massive problem: their stadium is completely flooded. As in, about a foot of standing water is currently sitting on the field. The whole city of Lubbock is currently dealing with some massive flooding due to torrential downpours, but if things don’t clear up soon the Texas Tech Raiders might have to find somewhere else to play the game.

The good news is that the field isn’t grass, it’s astroturf–which you can actually see popping up in bubbles in the middle. But the bad news is that unless the field staff finds a way to drain the turf completely, it’s not going to matter what kind of material the field is made of.

Sadly, Lubbock is dealing with bigger problems than just the fact that their football field is flooded–the rest of their town is too. We don’t even want to think about the amount of damage that’s going to be caused to people’s houses and property. And apparently, these people don’t want to either.

The Atlanta Falcons had the look of a team that should go places last season with their great offense. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out too well for Atlanta and they stumbled to an 8-8 record. As the 2016 season arrives, there are plenty of burning questions around the Falcons and whether or not they are a team that can contend for a playoff spot this coming season. Here are the three biggest questions looking forward in Atlanta.

Is Matt Ryan going to turn into an elite quarterback?

Ryan did throw for 4,591 yards last season and 21 touchdowns but was always looking the way of Julio Jones in the process. Ryan needs to find another target because opponents are going to find every possible way to take Jones out of the game this coming season. It’s going to be a tall task.

How’s the running game?

Devonta Freeman showed that he has the ability to be a top-5 running back but he can’t get hurt in the process. Freeman did get over 1,000 yards on the ground last season on just 264 carries with 11 touchdowns but is going to need a season where he goes over the 1,500-yard mark to take pressure off Ryan.

Did the defense improve?

It was a decent year last season for the Atlanta defense being a middle of the pack team in giving up points per game. The team spent their top two draft picks on defensive players with Florida safety Keanu Neal in the first round and LSU linebacker Deion Jones in the second. Both of them will be expected to make huge impacts this coming season.

To describe the 2015 season as a disappointment for the Baltimore Ravens would be an understatement. The team went just 5-11 and saw their defense completely fall apart in the process. As the 2016 season arrives, there are hopes that the Ravens can get back to their Super Bowl level from just a few seasons ago. There are three burning questions that must be addressed with this Baltimore team moving forward.

What’s the running back situation?

Justin Forsett looked like the option to begin last season but didn’t have a great year especially with injury issues. Is the option going to be Javorius Allen sooner than later now? That’s a question that will be answered very early in the season if Baltimore wants to be successful.

What’s up with Joe Flacco?

Flacco did have his share of injuries last season but hasn’t been the same quarterback since that Super Bowl season. He threw for 2,791 yards last season but needs to get to a level where he is throwing for 4,000 yards again in 2016. This is one of the biggest questions that face the Ravens now hoping to get to the top of the AFC North.

Is the defense better?

There were two major issues that needed to be addressed. Protecting Flacco and fixing the defense. The team drafted Boise State linebacker Kamalei Correa, BYU defensive end Bronson Kaufusi and Temple cornerback Tavon Young to fix the defensive part. If all three can fill starting spots and improve things, Baltimore could surprise a lot of people this season.
