Tinder Revealed Which Athletes Received The Most ‘Right-Swipes’ In Rio

0
0

God, what I’d give to spend one night in an Olympics athlete village. Just a bunch of beautiful, athletic, rich people runnin’ around hookin’ up. Honestly, it sounds like a Friday night at my old frat house, except on steroids.

Now that the Olympic Games are over, the medal tally is all wrapped up. In case you haven’t heard, the American have dominated. However, even though the Olympics are over, it doesn’t mean there aren’t any more winners to be announced. What am I talking about? I’m talking about the second most important victory of all: right-swipes on Tinder. Tinder has released the results of their data, which tells us which sports are home to the most lusted-after athletes. According to Mashable, during the games, Tinder reported that active users, matches, and swipes around the Olympic Village increased daily.

Now that the Olympics are over, Tinder has released their data from the Olympic Games:

The top six spots for ‘most-swiped’ ranked by sport have been released by Tinder and are listed below:

Women’s sports

  1. Table Tennis
  2. Field Hockey
  3. Rowing
  4. Weightlifting
  5. Rugby
  6. Swimming

Men’s sports

  1. Tennis
  2. Weightlifting
  3. Gymnastics
  4. Sport Shooting
  5. Judo
  6. Boxing

Okay, so, I’ll just come out and say it: this list is either wildly inaccurate (which I doubt), orrrrrr athletes have very bizarre tastes. Of all the beautiful gymnasts and soccer players there were down there, you mean to tell me that the Olympic Men just couldn’t resist the table tennisers (?) and rowers? I ain’t buyin’ it.

Watching The McGregor-Diaz Fight Highlights In Slow Motion Is Literally Mesmerizing

In case you live under a Manhattan-sized boulder – or just plain don’t give a sh*t – Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz put on a hell of a show at UFC 202. I’ve been watching UFC for about a decade – since about Shamrock-Ortiz 3 -and this was easily one of the best fights I’ve ever seen. You wanna talk back and forth? This fight was the very definition of that.

In the aftermath of the fight, UFC released various videos and promotional content. One of which, are highlights on the night in slow motion. I don’t know what it is (other than the fact that humans are bloodthirsty animals) but something about watching two grown men beat the piss out of each other in slow-mo is absolutely mesmerizing.

Plus, as the great Dave Chappelle once pointed out: everything, no matter what it is, is cooler in slow motion.

Flaming Hot Actress Bella Thorne Came Out As Bisexual In The Most Hella Chill Way Imaginable

I’ll be honest, I had never heard of Bella Thorne until today, which is a massive oversight on my part, cause this chick’s beyond gorgeous. Annabella Avery “Bella” Thorne is an American actress and singer. She played Ruthy Spivey in the TV series My Own Worst Enemy, Tancy Henrickson in the fourth season of Big Love, and CeCe Jones on the Disney Channel series Shake It Up. She also appeared as Hilary/”Larry” in Blended and as Celia in Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. In 2015, she played Madison in The Duff and Amanda in Perfect High.

Just this past week – yesterday, actually – Thorne came out in maybe the most chill way possible. While most celebrities make a big extravaganza about revealing their sexuality, using magazine covers, personal essays or YouTube videos, it only took Bella one word, and we love her for it.

When asked by a fan on Twitter if she was bisexual, Thorne simply replied by posting “Yes” on her Twitter account:

So yeah, not only is she super, almost ridiculously attractive, but she’s also clearly awesome and is now officially one of our favorite people. So check out her 22 hottest photos below, and follow her on Instagram! You won’t regret it.

Best Racing Games 2016: Top 5 Best Racing Games Now

Best Racing Games 2016

When you boil down gaming to its finest points, no genre captures the cut-throat nature of competition at its purist better than racers. Shooter fans may bristle at the notion, but when it comes to speeding on four wheels, no exploits or money moves will hand an advantage to anyone. This generation of consoles has delivered more fascinating leaps in graphics and gameplay in racers than any previous iteration, yielding one spellbinding example of excellence after another.

Here’s a look at the best racing games available right now:

5. Forza Horizon 2

Publisher: Microsoft Studios
Developers: Playground Games, Sumo Digital
Platforms: Xbox One, Xbox 360

The breezy, freewheeling offshoot of the more rigid and technically intense mainline series, Horizon is all about the open road and emergent moments that come up when you go spinning off country roads during impromptu races. Roaming the well-designed open world to seek out challenges from strangers and friends is one of the game’s great joys, and there are always stats-building throwdowns with bots at hand to help you grind for experience and cash you can use for upgrades.

ORDER: Forza Horizon 2 here

4. Project CARS

Publishers: Slightly Mad Studios, Bandai Namco
Developer: Slightly Mad Studios
Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC

Boasting dozens of thoroughly detailed vehicles from various disciplines and one of the more addictive progression systems found in any racer, the game can easily become your next racing addiction. It’s also an excellent go-to for screensaver-quality visuals, with mesmerizing particle effects capturing the breakneck sense of speed in contrast to stunning backgrounds, dazzling weather elements and brutal vehicle damage.

ORDER: Project CARS here

3. Mario Kart 8

Publisher: Nintendo
Developer: Nintendo
Platform: Wii U

Purists may bristle at this Wii U offering’s rubber band AI and penchant for wacky, skill-nerfing power-ups, but few games capture the spirit of burning rubber and trading paint as well as this wacky free-for-all. The online and couch multiplayer are both thrilling, even though they’re hampered by the lack of voice chat that plagues Nintendo titles.

ORDER: Mario Kart 8 here

2. Dirt Rally

Publisher: Codemasters
Developer: Codemasters
Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, PC

Tearing up dirt tracks on PC several months before blazing onto consoles, this is the game that does rally racing proud. Navigating hairpin turns while peering through a mud-splattered windshield yields the type of high-pressure adrenaline that oval track racing can rarely match. While its demanding difficulty makes it tough to master for newcomers, a solid tutorial system helps you get up to speed to compete with the obsessives online.

ORDER: Dirt Rally here

1. Forza Motorsport 6

Publisher: Microsoft Studios
Developer: Turn 10 Studios
Platforms: Xbox One, PC

A tinkerer’s dream, this hardcore racing sim is tuned to give gearheads a leg up on those who ignore what’s under the hood. A mind-wrenching amount of qualities of vehicles to mess with makes it as fascinating to spend time hunkered down in the garage and on the practice tracks as it does clashing against opponents in live races. The true genius of the game is how it fails to fall into the Gran Turismo-like trap of letting the racing become dry and stale. There are enough arcade-style flourishes to keep the racing wild and joyous.

A tornado has touched down in Kokomo, Indiana. As of right now, according to RTV 6, there is no word of any injuries. Details are scarce at this time, so we will update this post as soon as they become available.

The National Weather Service has extended tornado warnings for Central Indiana until 4:45 p.m. At 3:15 p.m, the National Weather Service urged everyone to take shelter immediately calling it a “particularly dangerous situation” with a potentially deadly tornado on the ground.

Similarly, the Mayor of Kokomo, Greg Goodnight, has advised residents to stay in their homes so first responders can get where they need to go. According to RTV 6 reporter Jason Fechner, multiple power lines are down in the area, causing over 12,000 people to be without electricity.

The only serious damage reported thus far is the destruction of a local Starbucks at the Markland Mall. According to firefighters on scene at the Starbucks, there are no injuries.

You can watch RTV 6’s live coverage in Kokomo HERE.

Grainy footage has been found of the Kokomo Starbucks collapsing:

About Kokomo, Indiana

A tornado touched down in Kokomo, Indiana today. As of right now, according to RTV 6, there is no word of any injuries. But it’s clear that there’s been a devastating effect on the Howard County city. In some of the pictures, you can see houses and businesses in shambles.

The first warning came from the National Weather Service at 3:15 P.M. EST. They urged everyone to take shelter immediately, calling the tornado a “particularly dangerous situation.” It seems as though that was a good call. You can learn more about the tornado in the link below.

As for the photos the natural disaster, Conor Daly–an INDYCAR racer and friend of COED was in Indiana. As he was driving, he saw some of the devastation and tweeted out some incredible photos of the destruction.

Watch: ‘Cocks Not Glocks’ Protest on University of Texas Campus

https://feminismandreligion.com/2015/11/03/cocks-not-glocks-protesting-and-the-phallus/

“Cocks Not Glocks” is the name of the student protest group which has donated 4,500 dildos, all of which were certainly put to good use. In protest against the new University of Texas carrying law, thousands of students gathered with signs and dildos strapped to there back packs.

Basically, the carrying law everyone is upset about allows people who are licensed to carry concealed weapons on the University of Texas campus. So, these guys are encouraging everyone to carry dildos around campus in hopes of making the administration uncomfortable enough to reconsider this carrying law.

You can read an even more intense break down via this Campus Reform article.

More importantly, here’s a link to the “Cocks Not Glocks” shop, because the best part about this entire thing are the “Take it and Come” t-shirts they made.

WATCH: Two Idiots Try To Spend The Night In Ikea

Spend Night in Ikea

Sleeping in an Ikea might sound like a lot of fun to a teenager who likes to do “random” and “wild” things, but honestly to a postgrad like me, that experience that just sounds awful. Give me a good movie, a couch not from Ikea (I’ve had too many), and some booze and I’m set.

Thankfully, these two Swedish bros did all the leg work on my theory and pretty much proved my point. They entered an Ikea, hid in a closet for multiple hours, waiting until everyone was actually gone, and then had their run of the place until morning. Except, that really isn’t all that great. Jumping on beds isn’t as much fun as you can remember.

But to their credit, the boys did manage to make the most of their time in Ikea, giving the products some great reviews. Except for the closets. They hate those closets.

Allegedly, The Beef Between The Rock And Vin Diesel Was All A Publicity Stunt

via Universal

Damn. While this doesn’t surprise me in the least, it certainly bums me out. I have an irrational dislike of Vin Diesel, and I would have loved nothing more to see The Rock end his career. When I watch Vin Diesel movies, I feel as though the entire world is f*cking with me, because, seriously, how can anyone possibly enjoy this man’s acting?

So, anyway, a couple of weeks ago the Rock dropped a bomb on Instagram, calling out his male co-stars professionalism. It was then revealed that the Rock was specifically referring to Bargain Bin Diesel (I made up this nickname myself – patent pending).

Instagram Photo

Then, rumors started flying that Vin Diesel would act wildly unprofessional on set, doing things such as delaying the entire production because he didn’t feel like leaving his trailer. The two supposedly sat down to squash the beef, but just couldn’t seem to reach a truce.

Now, Life & Style is all but confirming what many suspected, saying:

In the latest issue of Life & Style, an insider reveals that while there is some truth to the recent rivalry between Fast & Furious stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Vin Diesel, the beef is largely a publicity stunt to amp up drama for a WWE wrestling match — and to help promote the April 2017 release of Fast 8.

“They are playing a huge prank, and it’s all for publicity,” the insider shares.

“The Rock convinced Vin to amp up the drama between them so they could turn it into a WWE match to help promote the April 2017 release of Fast 8,” the insider explains.

Gotta admit, while it bums me out that the Rock won’t be ending Bargain Bin’s career anytime soon, I respect the idea. It’s a shrewd move by the Rock, and further proof that he is one of the smartest dudes in Hollywood. Creating a fake beef with the JV version of yourself, just so you can beat his ass in the wrestling ring, ALLLLL while promoting your movie? Well done, Rock. #TheRockForTheWhiteHouse.

Here’s Chance The Rapper’s Story Of The Time Frank Ocean Help Him Get Laid

Chance The Rapper is one of the biggest names in the game today. The positivity of his spirit, the elasticity of his rhymes, and the refusal to give in to ‘the man’ are just a couple of the many reasons why Lil Chano from 79th is one of the most exciting artists there are. I’ve actually been on Chano for a minute, luckily for me, my buddy put me on to him only a couple of weeks after 2013’s Acid Rap dropped.

2016 is the year of Chance. After blowing the lid off of the rap game with his verse on Ultralight Beam on Kanye’s TLOP, Chance has been hittin’ home run after home run. Coloring Book was such a massive success, it finally got the Grammys to consider strictly streaming albums for award nominations.

Chance recently sat down for GQ from an awesome in-depth profile, where he talks about the Obama’s being fans of his music, Chicago, tripping balls, and finding God. One of the best tidbits from the piece was his story about the time none other than recluse Frank Ocean played piano while Chance was chilling with a girl at his crib:

[Chance] Mostly just hung out, did drugs, saw girls. Had the kind of nights you’d hope he might have. “I was on a date one time at the crib, and we’re sitting in the front room, maybe rolling up some weed or something.” Frank Ocean was downstairs, somewhere. “And then Frank just comes up and starts playing the piano and lightly singing in the background of our date. Obviously, that scored me a lot of points with this female.” A reclusive genius serenading two kids, the sun setting over the valley. “But it wasn’t where I was supposed to be.”

I love how he calls her ‘this female’. Let me tell you something, whenever a dude refers to a girl as a ‘female’, he probably banged. It’s not a science, just a theory, but I believe it.

Chance the Rapper and Frank Ocean just hangin’ out, smokin’ bud, helpin’ each other get laid. Must be nice.

Ryan Lochte Already Making Comeback, Offered Adult Toy Sponsorship, Will Be On Dancing With The Stars

A lot of people are hating on Ryan Lochte these days, and rightfully so. The dude royally f*cked up. With one lie, he embarrassed his country, distracted from the glory of the Olympics, offended Rio, got his buddies detained, and lost himself a million bucks. All because he lied to his mom. I, however, love Ryan Lochte. He reminds me of a better looking Forrest Gump, only marginally smarter and not as successful.

After blowing up his image – and some of his bank account – in Rio, Lochte needs a comeback and quick. In come two uniquely interesting yet oddly perfect options.

First, according to Metro, Lochte has a sponsorship offer from Brian Sloan, the man behind the Autoblow2+ blowjob robot. Yes, you read that correctly -THE Autoblow2+ robot, one of THE premiere auto blow robots on the market. Sloan reportedly offered Lochte a cool $10k to pose with the pristine product.

Then, according to USA Today, Lochte will participate in the next edition of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. And honestly, I don’t think there’s a better option for him than DWTS. DWTS is a haven for C-list celebrities who need to rehabilitate their image while making a little dough. The 23rd season of the show premieres on September 12.

Even though, realistically, in four years when Locthe is racking up the gold medals, no one is gonna give a sh*t about what happened in Rio. Come to think of it,  people are gonna forget by next week, anyway.

The only question is: how will Lochte do?

Santa Auzina: 22 Hottest Photos of Dennis Quaid Girlfriend

0
0

Dennis Quaid is celebrating his most recent divorce by dating hottie Santa Auzina, a woman 30 years younger. For reference purposes, she is approximately the same age as his daughter. My friends, that is either f*cking amazing or really sad–depending on how you feel about love. Personally, I’m of the belief that if he hadn’t already had been divorced three times then this would be a celebration. But this new chick, Santa Auzina, is Russian model on the tail end of her professional career, so I can’t help but feel a little scared for the Quaidruple-Double™ (a nickname I just trademarked) that she’s just chasing him for his $$.

But hey, it’s Dennis’ money. He earned it. I digress.

Auzina is a Russian model (I think) currently living it up in Canada. She’s modeled for plenty of big name companies, including Victoria’s Secret. She was even connected to PK Subban for a hot second.

Adult Site & Possible Undercover Charity xHamster Offers To Pay To Relocate All Gorillas From Cincinnati Zoo To A Refuge

0

Harambe xHamster sponsorship

via Getty

XHamster is having a hell of a public relations week. First, they pull the hilariously respectful move of offering Making A Murderer subject and newly free man Brendan Dassey a trip to WrestleMania 33. Now, apparently doubling down on their Internet meme charity, they have offered to relocate all of the remaining Cincinnati Zoo gorillas to a refuge.

An XHamster spokesman released the following statement:

“We are shocked and saddened to see what took place at the Cincinnati Zoo and in the senseless killing of Harambe the Gorilla,” said Alex Hawkins, Spokesman for XHamster.com.

“We at XHamster.com care deeply about human and animal rights. We are against beautiful creatures like Harambe being held in captivity and the senseless killing of this beautiful creature is unacceptable. The only way to avoid this in the future is to transfer the rest of these magnificent animals to a wildlife refuge so they can live the rest of their lives in peace.”

Well utterly hilarious, gotta admit that XHamster is a little late to the party. Those gorillas have already been under the tyrannical rule of the Cincinnati Zoo for way too long, and some experts in the field are speculating it may be too little, too late for the majestic beats.

However, for as good of a week as XHamster is having, the Cincinnati Zoo’s week has been equally bad.  First, they released a downright pitiful statement regarding the fine wine that is Harambe memes. Then, they forgot to tuck their skirt in and deleted all of their social media accounts because they couldn’t handle the ridicule (which, again, wouldn’t even if exist if they didn’t slay the Cincinnati Saint). Now, an adult website has come along to kick dirt in their gaping, hemorrhaging wounds.

Will the Cincinnati Zoo ever rebound from this tragedy? Honestly, at this stage, it ain’t lookin’ too good.

Why I’m OK With The #StopWhitePeople2K16 Class At SUNY Binghamton

0

confederate flag burning

This image has nothing to do with #StopWhitePeople2K16 or SUNY Binghamton, I just thought it was eye-catching

As you might have heard, the State University of New York – Binghamton (SUNY Binghamton) campus is offering a class for Residential Assistants called “#StopWhitePeople2K16.” For those of you who live under a bridge or a rock, RAs are the upperclassmen who are offered free housing in exchange for keeping an eye on the other students in the dorm.

But before these RAs are tasked with confiscating booze from freshmen and filing noise complaints, they have to take a couple of training courses on how to deal with the young ones. One of these optional courses offered at SUNY Binghamton is called #StopWhitePeople2K16. Here’s the description of the class:

“The premise of this session is to help others take the next step in understanding diversity, privilege, and the society we function within. Learning about these topics is a good first step, but when encountered with ‘good’ arguments from uneducated people, how do you respond? This open discussion will give attendees the tools to do so, and hopefully expand upon what they may already know.”

Before we get started, I think I should say that most of the people I’ve seen react to the class have been horrified, mortified, and upset that the school is offering a class that openly calls for white people to be stopped. Here are some of the more “excited” reactions I pulled from a cursory glance at Twitter:

Obviously, more than a few people have their own ideas about the class–mostly about the name. But I think that if you can get past the shock value of the name (which was clearly chosen intentionally), you’ll learn that it’s not such a big deal. In fact, the class is very useful for an extremely hot-button topic that these young adults will be faced with. I’m talking about the difficult subject of race relations on the college campus.

I think it’s clear that college today is very different than it was even five years ago. Not just in regards to the effect that social media has on students, but in terms of how different groups are interacting with each other. From where we sit, it seems like the biggest cause of that change is the rise of Social Justice Warrior, Safe Spaces, and the Black Lives Matter movement, plus the inevitable push back from students and people who aren’t in support of those notions. Ffor example, take the pretty crappy situation at The University of Missouri, specifically Professor Melissa Click and her now infamous call for “muscle” to get a member of the media out of the Black Lives Matter circle.

Melissa is a woman who clearly took things too far, calling for students to assault another student. If this professor, an adult woman who’s been at an institution for years, can’t handle a peaceful protest, how are younger students, who are faced with new situations every day, supposed to properly deal with the rising racial tensions? Taking it a step further, how can RAs be expected to deal with possible issues stemming from race relations inside their own dorms?

That’s why it’s important for SUNY Binghamton to offer classes like #StopWhitePeople2K16: a course to teach people how to deal with diversity among freshmen who might not know what’s appropriate vs. inappropriate. Keep in mind, these freshmen are away from home for the first time, dealing with not only parties, issues with themselves, homework, and making new friends, but also interacting with new diverse, groups of people. SUNY Binghamton is a state school, and I’m certain there are more than a few first-generation college students who will be experiencing diversity for the first time. Not everyone. I’m just saying a few. But it takes only a few incidents to start a brush fire.

And if there’s one thing a school doesn’t want, it’s a repeat of what happened at Mizzou. Following the Black Lives Matter protests (which was frankly a much bigger issue than the Melissa Click story) at Mizzou, applications to the school were expected to drop 2,600 students–costing the school $16 million dollars in lost tuition. Truthfully, that bad press will probably follow them around for a couple of years, costing them much longer in the long run.

So can you blame SUNY Binghamton from wanting to teach their RAs about how to solve racial issues in the dorms? Even if you’re not a believer in “safe spaces,” I think it’s fair to say that no one wants things to boil over anywhere.

So that brings us to the name #StopWhitePeople2K16. Was it a name that was invented by the President of the school? Almost certainly not. Instead, the name was created by a couple of RAs who wanted to have a little fun with the name and maybe increase their attendance by using a popular hashtag on Twitter. Yes, #StopWhitePeople2K16 already existed before SUNY Binghamton. It’s pretty much a hashtag to poke fun at some of the dumb stuff that white people do.

Here are some examples that as a white person, I would also love to stop.

I can hear the haters now, “but stopping white people is racist!” Look, here’s a quick newsflash for everyone who’s a little nervous that state schools are actively trying to stop white people. They’re not. White people are just as strong as we were a decade ago. Need proof? How about the Stanford swimmer Brock Turner who was convicted of raping an unconscious girl BEHIND A DUMPSTER, who then didn’t spend more than six months in prison? Or how about the recent story of David Becker, a high school student who was charged with raping two unconscious women at a party. Instead of getting a normal trial, the judge let him walk, allowing him to live a “productive life.”

From Becker’s attorney, Thomas Rooke:

He can now look forward to a productive life without being burdened with the stigma of having to register as a sex offender. The goal of this sentence was not to impede this individual from graduating high school and to go onto the next step of his life, which is a college experience. We all made mistakes when we were 17, 18, 19 years old, and we shouldn’t be branded for life with a felony offense and branded a sex offender. Putting this kid in jail for two years would have destroyed this kid’s life.”

Please try to tell me that if these were black kids (not celebrities or professional athletes, because they always get away with everything) they would walk. No f*cking way.

Obviously, not all white people are rapists, but I’m handpicking extremely violent crimes and criminals to show that white people certainly have an advantage in society. Personally, I’m hella stoked(!) that I’m white because I think know that it gives me many advantages in life. That’s not white guilt, that’s fact. I don’t feel guilty that I’m white at all, I feel blessed. But that doesn’t mean I’m also blind to what was handed to me.

So despite what a single, non-required class that’s being taught to a select group of older SUNY Binghamton students is called, no one is trying to actually stop white people. And even if they were, it wouldn’t ever happen. Ever. Everyone’s just getting up in arms about it because that’s what people do now. Just like some Black Lives Matter protesters are taking things too far, the same amount of people pushing back on BLM are doing the exact same thing. Hell, some forums are even publishing the names of the three students responsible for teaching the class and trying to get them fired.

The rebuttal I’m seeing from a lot of people is that calling it #StopBlackPeople2K16 would be racist, so why not white people? That’s a good question. Maybe because black people have an institutional history of being “stopped”? Maybe because that’s a real thing, unlike white people even being slowed down.

After all of the hullabaloo online, SUNY Binghamton did itself a favor and investigated the class before Jesse Watters from Watters World or someone from Fox News got the exclusive. And what did they find? That there were zero anti-white sentiments even being discussed. Here’s a statement from an official of the school:

“What we strive to do from an administrative level is cultivate an environment where our students listen to one another, learn from one another and do so in a manner that doesn’t cause unnecessary harm.  I have no indication that this particular program was inconsistent with the respectful environment we hope to support and sustain.”

Another RA who attended the course told the Binghamton Review that “if the session is used again in RA training… the presenters should ‘probably change the name so people get mad less.’ ” They added that “The training itself was ‘very engaging, helpful, and thought-provoking.”

Keeping everything (which is a lot) in mind, I support a class like #StopWhitePeople2K16. The subject matter is extremely important for people to understand moving forward. The title is catchy, funny, and so in-your-face impossible to take seriously that I am not scared by it at all.

Best Wii U Exclusives 2016

Nintendo’s Wii U is definitely on the decline, with its predecessor, the NX, set for release in March. The console has taken its fair share of knocks since its 2012 release, but it’s boasted enough knockout games to justify its purchase for any hardcore Nintendo fan. And because of the unique design, as well as Nintendo’s insistence on containing its games to its own hardware, you couldn’t play these classics anywhere else. Now that the Wii U in its twilight, it’s time to look back at the very best the console had to offer.

Here’s a look at the best Wii U exclusives available right now:

This was by far the most out-of-place Wii U success story. The need to go back and replay levels to find hidden star coins made the game challenging to even the hardest-core Mario fanatics, and unique power-ups, including a cat-themed item, made the gameplay unique.

The casual sports fan has never heard of Robert Horry. This is a dude who averaged just under 8 points per game for his career. In fact, his highest ever PPG was only 13 points. Hell, this is a dude who spent 15 years in the league and only started in a TOTAL of 116 games (there are 82 games per season).

But on the flip side, Robert Horry is also a legend. He is a 7-time NBA Champion, and is one of only two players (the other is John Salley) to have won NBA championships with three different teams: two with the Houston Rockets, three with the Los Angeles Lakers and two with the San Antonio Spurs. Horry is also considered one of the most clutch players in the history of the sport. He was so clutch throughout the course of his career, he earned the nickname Big Shot Bob. During the course of his playoff career, Horry it 7 massively clutch shots. Mind you, this is only his playoff career, which accounts for about, oh, I don’t know, about 15% of his playing career.

Whatever it is, no one can deny this dude’s ability to perform under pressure. The league has never seen a player quite like Horry, a bench role-player who drills game winners, and probably never will again.
