I can say with a clear conscious that I will never in a million years “be the guy who will jump from one roof to another.” Not literally. Not figuratively. Not ever. Why? Because of stories like this idiot from the University of Pittsburgh who thought that actually doing so would be a quick ticket to impressing his girlfriend. Instead, now we’re talking about him here on COED… And that’s rarely a good thing.

It all started last night on Forbes Avenue in Pittsburgh, PA. After some drinks or dinner or whatever, this kid from Pitt brought his lady friend up to the rooftop for a peck on the cheek and some great views. But instead of taking her home or dropping her off, or whatever, homeslice decided that it’d be a good idea to try and jump a grand total of “16-18 inches” (actual size of the space he tried to jump) to impress her–presumably to seal the deal.

But instead of impressing her, this guy instead fell a hell of a ways down into the space between two buildings. Talk about a bummer.

So once he fell in between the buildings, I’m sure that his girlfriend immediately started panicking. Obviously, at first, she thinks he’s dead. Maybe the screams of terror and pain alerted her to the fact he wasn’t, though, so she called 911. Keep in mind that it’s the middle of the night, and this dude has just fallen between the walls of a Qdoba and Bruegger’s Bagels–two important food staples of the Oakland Pittsburgh area. It’s in everyone’s interest to get this situation sorted out quickly.

So the Pittsburgh Emergency Crew shows up and realizes that the only way to get this guy out of there is to break through the walls to get him. But in order to make sure that the necessary jackhammers don’t pierce this guy’s skull, they also need to send a rappel guy down the space to spot for them.

RIP All the early morning bagel people.

I’d actually assume that this guy was way overweight, but judging from the video of him getting pulled into an ambulance after the whole debacle, he actually looks like he’s in good shape. Better shape than me, even.

Of course, he could have lost all that weight while he was trapped in between two walls, sweating profusely and pooping himself out of fear that the jackhammers breaking through the wall would accidentally kill him. But yeah, he looks like he’s in good enough shape to get a running start and clear a foot and a half.

Anyways, all’s well that ends well. We feel pretty bad for the kid because he will always be known as that dude who fell in between buildings because he can’t jump 16 inches, but at least he knows it’s a big story. Check out the double thumbs up at the end of the video. That’s a guy who knows he’s going to be on the news.

Andrea Tantaros is an American conservative political analyst and commentator, was a co-host of the Fox News program Outnumbered at 12 P.M. ET on Fox News Channel. She was originally co-host on The Five. Tantaros famously resigned from Fox News and is now suing them for $50 million dollars.

Tantaros was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She worked at her family owned a Greek restaurant, Pied Piper Diner. Tantaros graduated from Lehigh University with a degree in French and journalism and completed her graduate studies at the Sorbonne in Paris, France. After returning from Paris, Tantaros moved to Washington, D.C.

Tantaros first joined Fox News in April 2010 as a political contributor. In 2011, she was named one of the co-hosts of The Five. After only several months of airing, The Five consistently beat its competitors on MSNBC and CNN combined and, by 2013, it was the second-most-watched program in all of cable news. However, she resigned and was taken off the air in April 2016.

Buying a house or an apartment isn’t just expensive, it’s a pain in the tookus. So thank God for real estate agents like 22-year-old Kayla Marisa Seloff and a few other hot real estate agents who’ve left just a shred of possibility that maybe, just maybe, hooking up with a sexy realtor in an empty house is a thing.

You see, last Friday, Seloff sold a house in Friendswood, TX. Naturally, she wanted to find a way to celebrate, so she rustled up 27-year-old Joshua Leal. The two of them then headed over to the client’s house.

Cut to 5 A.M., when a neighbor from the Friendswood house called the police after hearing noises and saw a flashlight coming from the empty house. When police arrived, they entered the house and found her hooking up with Joshua Leal. (Well, technically we don’t know if they were hooking up, but the police used the term “passionate rendezvous,” so we’re going to guess that’s what they meant.)

The man and woman hid as officers entered the home through the unlocked front door. Kayla Marisa Seloff, 22, of Houston, claimed she and Joshua Gene Leal, 27, of Friendswood, were married and had just purchased the residence the day prior. Seloff and Leal were escorted to their car to retrieve their identification. [source]

Sadly, that’s where the story stops becoming fun. When the police escorted the happy couple out of the house, the cops took Seloff to her car to get her ID. Almost as soon as they opened the car door, they smelled marijuana and found a weed pipe. They also learned that Seloff wasn’t actually a newlywed, but instead the real estate agent.

Apparently, she copped to the ownership of the marijuana and the pipe, and the two of them have been charged with criminal trespassing. Both of their bonds were set at $1k.

Let’s get right to it. Maisie Williams, the total badass who plays Arya Stark, teased fans about the upcoming season 7 of Game of Thrones, and unsurprisingly, she says it’s going to be a really, really good one. But in classic Thrones fashion, it’s also going to probably depress the hell out of you.

Williams, a 19-year-old actress, who has played Arya Stark since the show’s 2011 debut, read the initial script for the 7th season of the HBO drama based on George R.R. Martin’s unfinished book series, and naturally, she made it sound batsh*t crazy. In a series of tweets, Williams expressed her feelings about the script but obviously, couldn’t reveal any of the details.

Yeah, so, batten down the hatches people. We’re in for a hell of a ride.

A Brussels woman was causing a serious disturbance in a busy mall yesterday, hacking at three people, stabbing one in the back and the other in the stomach. When police confronted the Filipino woman, she refused to drop the machete. That’s when a policeman shot her point blank in the arm.

The 52-year-old Filipino woman was accused of attempted murder, but hasn’t yet been questioned by prosecutors.

Police aren’t ruling out terrorism, but it seems more than likely that this woman is disturbed, not a member of ISIS. “No motive is being ruled out at this stage but terrorism is not the most likely case,” said police spokesman Xavier Dellicour.

Mackenzie Davis is a 29-year-old actress from Vancouver, Canada. Born on April 1, 1987, Davis made her film debut in Smashed. She would later appear in Breathe In, That Awkward Moment, and The F Word. For her role in The F Word, Davis received a Canadian Screen Award nomination.

Davis was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. For college, she attended McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She went on to study acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City and was soon discovered by Drake Doremus for her acting debut in the feature film Breathe In.

In 2015, she appeared in her first major film role, starring in The Martian as NASA engineer Mindy Park. In June 2016, Davis was cast in an undisclosed role in the Blade Runner sequel.

However, Davis got her first big break on AMC, where she stars as computer programmer Cameron Howe in the hit TV series Halt and Catch Fire. Halt and Catch Fire, which just started its third season, is one of the best show on TV.

Brock Lesnar has been suspended by the UFC for failing multiple drug tests. Lesnar has been temporarily suspended pending a full hearing after he failed two drug tests surrounding his return to action at UFC 200 in July.

According to Fox Sports, The Nevada State Athletic Commission revealed during a hearing on Tuesday that Lesnar tested positive for clomiphene and hydroxy-clomiphene, which is a metabolite of clomiphene. Clomiphene is an anti-estrogen agent that is typically used after a cycle of steroids to prevent many of the side effects that come along with the performance-enhancing drug. Lesnar failed two drug tests — one from a pre-fight out of competition sample on June 28 and another from the night of his fight with Mark Hunt on July 9.

At UFC 200, Lesnar fought, and defeated, Mark Hunt. Although Lesnar won by unanimous decision, the state of Nevada has the right to overturn the result depending on the outcome of his hearing, which will be scheduled at a later date. Lesnar faces potential sanctions from both Nevada and USADA.

After news broke that Lesnar had failed his pre-fight drug test, his opponent Mark Hunt blasted both Lesnar and the UFC after hearing that he tested positive for a banned substance both in and out of competition surrounding their fight.

The date for Lesnar’s next hearing will be determined soon as Nevada typically holds monthly commission meetings to handle these kinds of matters, says Fox Sports.

Mark Sanchez hasn’t had the greatest offseason this year. True, he was signed to the Denver Broncos who were desperately in need of a QB after the retirement of Peyton Manning, but more recently he’s been hurtin’ for certain. In fact, the seventh-round draft pick of 2015, Trevor Siemian (Northwestern), might have just jacked his spot. And if he continues to drop on the depth chart, then his $4.5 million contract could actually cause the Broncos to cut him from the team entirely.

Halt and Catch Fire is the best TV show you aren’t watching. An American period drama television series created by Christopher Cantwell and Christopher C. Rogers, Halt and Catch Fire premiered on AMC on June 1, 2014. The series is set in the Silicon Prairie of Texas, starting in 1983, and depicts a fictionalized insider’s view of the personal computer revolution. The show’s title refers to computer machine code instruction HCF, the execution of which would cause the computer’s central processing unit to stop working (“catch fire” was a humorous exaggeration).

Before Trump was offending women on a national level – for example, speculating about Megyn Kelly’s menstrual cycle on live television – Trump’s misogyny was more personal. Long before Trump was disrespecting women worldwide, Donald Trump owned the Miss Universe Organization, where he had a chance to offend young women from all over the world. One of those women was a former Miss Universe winner, Alicia Machado.

Alicia Machado, the 1995 Miss Venezuela winner, won the Miss Universe pageant in 1996. Shortly thereafter, she accused Donald Trump of mocking her Latina heritage and body-shaming her after she gained some post-pageant weight. Oh, mind you, Machado was just 19-years-old at the time. She was a f*cking teenager, but that still didn’t stop Donnie Dumbo from mocking her.

In an interview with The New York Times, Machado elaborated on Trump’s behavior:

“For sure he is not a good person. He called me Miss Piggy. I was very depressed.”

Unsurprisingly, Trump seems to have no remorse about the issue. During an interview with radio Host Howard Stern, Trump described her as an “eating machine.”

“She weighed 118 pounds or 117 pounds and she went to 160 or 170. So this is somebody that likes to eat,” he said at the time.

Machado told the New York Times:

 Trump even invited the media to watch her workout at a New York City hotel. And his abuse did lasting damage. “After that episode, I was sick, anorexia and bulimia for five years,” she said. “Over the past 20 years, I’ve gone to a lot of psychologists to combat this.”

Trump also mocked her English and often referred to her as “Miss Housekeeping”. Trump himself has since admitted to the Times that he pushed Machado to lose weight.

Now, two decades after her Miss Universe victory, Machado is doing everything she can to keep Trump out of office. That is a true American.

Also, I genuinely have no idea what the hell Trump’s talking about. Even still today, Machado is totally gorgeous.

After a long half year without football, the NFL is finally back, and it all begins with HBO’s Hard Knocks! This season, they will be in training camp with the newly relocated Los Angeles Rams.

Hard Knocks is a reality sports documentary TV show produced by a partnership between NFL Films and HBO. The show’s first season, which followed the Baltimore Ravens, premiered in 2001. Each season, Hard Knocks follows an NFL team through its training camp and covers the team’s preparation for the upcoming football season. The NFL and HBO have called Hard Knocks “the first sports-based reality series” in television history. A film crew of 30 is on-site at the training camp and set, which launched in 2001 following the Baltimore Ravens, and since has won 14 Sports Emmys. On March 23, 2016, it was announced the Los Angeles Rams will be the team featured for the 2016 season.

The series showcases the lives of the players, coaches and staff, including their family life, position battles, and even inside jokes and pranks. It particularly focuses on rookies’ adjustments to playing in the NFL, usually with the most emphasis on the team’s most recent top draft pick. The show also usually chooses to focus on undrafted and journeyman players who are attempting to make the team.

Hard Knocks : Training Camp With The Los Angeles Rams Trailer

With all of the human-caused tragedy 2016 has seen so far, it was only a matter of time before mother nature reminded us of the devastation she can cause. According to the New York Times, strong earthquakes struck  central Italy early Wednesday, killing at least 38 people, and trapping hundreds under debris. The quake set off tremors that were felt residents in Rome, nearly 100 miles to the southwest.

The first, a 6.2-magnitude earthquake, struck at 3:36 A.M., followed by a 5.5-magnitude temblor at 4:33 A.M., both near the town of Norcia in the Umbria region. Over a three-hour period, about 40 quakes shook the region.

According to The Times:

The death toll on Wednesday, reported by the Italian news media, was almost certain to rise, given that scores of people remained unaccounted for. The authorities said the first quake was comparable in intensity to a 2009 earthquake in the Abruzzo region of central Italy that killed more than 300 people.

Towns across three regions — Umbria, Lazio and Marche — were devastated by the quakes, which could be felt as far away as Bologna in the north and Naples in the south. The towns of Accumoli, Amatrice, Arquata del Tronto and Pescara del Tronto were reported to be among the most heavily damaged.

Sergio Pirozzi, the mayor of Amatrice – one of the hardest hit regions – said ‘half the town no longer exists’, and who that rescue teams were digging through the rubble, “hoping that most people were alive.”

Prime Minister of Italy Matteo Renzi, speaking in Rome, said he would head toward the epicenter of the quake later on Wednesday. He thanked rescue workers and volunteers, and  “No family, no city, no hamlet will be left alone.”

I like to think of myself as a pretty big movie guy. If you read my little COED bio or whatever, you’ll see that my life goal is to write a Batman screenplay. Actually, a screenplay in general would be just fine, but a Batman script would really be the end-all-be-all. Speaking of which, The Dark Knight comes in at number 33 on this list, which is a rock-solid ranking as far as I’m concerned. Anyway, my point is, that even as a self-proclaimed ‘movie guy,’ I’ve seen about half of the movies on this list.

There are some genuine bangers on this list: Zodiac, Inception, Zero Dark Thirty, and my personal favorite movie of all time, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

But there are also some surprises, and when I say surprises, I mean there are wayyyy more Pixar films on the list then you’d expect: Ratatouille actually ranked higher than Finding Nemo (which is more or less blasphemy), while WALL-E trumps them all, cracking the top 30.

All in all, this a damn good list, and the perfect thing to keep in the back of your mind as the cruel weather of cuffing season approaches.

An Indianapolis cop shot a 48-year-old black man in his own home Tuesday after the man called out police to respond to a robbery. According to RTV 6, Carl Williams called police out to his home after an armed robber had threatened his wife with a gun and tried to steal her car at around 4:30 A.M.

Officer Christopher Mills responded with his partner – but when he saw Williams, Mills shot him, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said. Mills, a nine-year veteran with the East District police, shot Williams in the stomach once. It’s not known if he fired other shots.

According to the Daily Mail:

‘Our homeowner, the individual who was trying his best protect himself and his wife from any other harm, was shot mistakenly by our officers,’ IMPD Major Richard Riddle in a press conference Tuesday.

‘This incident occurred within a few seconds, and those judgment calls are made within a few split seconds. She was victimized, and unfortunately now, her husband was victimized as well.’

According to the IMPD, Mills and his partner approached the house and saw the black vehicle still stationary in the driveway. Concerned that the armed robber was still on the premises, police said, the officers attempted ‘to approach in a covert manner to investigate the vehicle.’

Williams then exited his garage holding a handgun, the IndyStar said, and was shot. It’s not clear what – if any – words were exchanged, or whether Williams resembled the description of the robber given to cops. But police said there was no indication that Williams held the weapon in a threatening way.

Although Williams was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital and is in serious condition, luckily, he is expected to survive.

There’s a new Ring movie coming out, and we’re not talking about the Japanese horror film that pits Samara against that thing from The Grudge. No, we’re talking about a fresh new sequel called The Rings. I don’t want to date myself, but seeing The Ring in theaters on Halloween night was probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever done in my life. That movie was/is flat-out horrifying. Probably the scariest film I’ve ever seen.

Exciting right? A “movie within the movie”? Is that something you’d maybe want to see? So why not just sit down and watch the trailer below, because from what I can tell, you pretty much get to see the whole damn film in 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

On one hand, I’m glad that I can watch this from the comfort of my own office in the daytime. But on the other, I’m disappointed this won’t scare the crap out of as many people as the first.

ESPN, man. For all their faults, I’ll give em this: they know what men want, and that’s beautiful women reading them sports news. From the OGs like Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompsom to the new age like Cari Champion and Molly Qerim, ESPN has been rolling out smoke shows for years now.

The longer I’ve watched ESPN, the more I’ve realized they break in their upcoming talent on their morning shows: Mike & Mike, First Take, early editions of SportsCenter, etc. Cari Champion got her start on First Take, and now hosts SportsCenter. Molly Qerim started as a contributor on First Take and is now the moderator of the show. Currently, Mike & Mike have this super cute chick Jen Lada who does a segment or two a day, so it’s only a matter of time before she’s hosting her own show.

This morning, Mike & Mike seemed to have begun grooming Lada’s replacement, as former Duke tennis player and super cutie Prim Siripipat made her debut on the show. While Prim has been at ESPN since March 2011, her primary role has been off camera as the co-host of Spain and Prim on ESPN Radio.

Russian model Alena Shishkova has a pretty legitimate Instagram following at 4.4 million followers, mostly (OK, entirely) because she’s so beautiful. But now the Russian hottie is getting a lot of flack from Western media that she’s far too skinny. Like, way too skinny. People are going so far as to call her “an anorexic alien.”

Obviously, we don’t think that she’s anywhere near “alien” status, but it’s clear that she’s at like a .05% body fat. According to Unilad, she was around 114 pounds a year ago, but I think it’s clear that she’s much skinnier than that today.

Incredibly, Alena is the mother of a two-year-old, who she had with Timati, an extremely popular Russian rapper. Clearly, she had no problem shedding that baby weight.

The American University of Afghanistan in Kabul is under attack. Following a huge explosion, reports are coming in that “attackers” have infiltrated inside the University.

It’s believed that the attackers are terrorists or militants. Although it’s unknown who exactly is responsible, some believe it’s the work of the Taliban.

Among the people inside the school is Massoud Hossaini, a Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer.

Our thoughts are with the students and teachers of the AUAF right now.

What Happened?

Reports are still coming in, but social media indicates that around 7:00 P.M., a suicide bomber attacked the school. It’s believed the blast might have targeted, and destroyed, a gate. Following the bombing, militants came into the school during evening classes and began opening fire. Some students and professors were able to escape, while others have been taken hostage.

Considering that evening classes would have just begun, the AUAF would have been extremely packed with people.

A police commander told journalist Bilal Sarwary, “We’re dealing with a complex attack inside the American University. Special forces en-route.”

Police have blocked off roads entering the school.

Earlier this month, two Professors at the American University in Afghanistan were kidnapped at gunpoint. The school was closed and then reopened after a day.

Two professors — an American and an Australian — were kidnapped recently from the university on the 8th of August. Five gunmen wearing Afghan military uniforms abducted the pair at gunpoint.

The two foreigners were taken from their SUV while driving on Sunday night on a main road near the American University of Afghanistan, according to Sediq Sediqqi, spokesman for the Afghan Interior Ministry [source].

The identity of the group who has attacked the school is unknown, but we do know that teachers and students within the Bayan building are trapped.

There aren’t any confirmed numbers of deaths or injuries, but we can report that multiple ambulances have been taking wounded to the emergency hospitals.
