Salma Hayek’s Cousin Yvonne Treviño Is An Olympian, A Record Holder, AND A Hottie

$

That Hayek family has some genes. First, we were introduced to Salma Hayek, who looks as good as the day we were introduced to her. Then, at the 2016 Olympics, the world was introduced to her cousin, Yvonne Treviño Hayek.

Yvonne Treviño Hayek, 27 years old, is a Mexican track and field athlete who competes in the long jump. She also happens to be very, very good. Hayek is the current holder of the Mexican record with 6.70. She qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics, her first ever Olympics.

Hayek was a track and field star from the time she was young.  She started her career in track and field at the age of 8 years old, where at a national competition she broke the long jump meet record for her age. Her coach at the time realized the amount of talent she had, so the coach told her parents that one day she could “make history in track and field” for Mexico. And clearly, as a record holder, she has.

Check out Hayek’s 22 hottest photos below and follow her on Instagram!

JR Smith, Who Is In Amsterdam and Promises He’s Not High, Is High

JR Smith Amsterdam Video

JR Smith is in Amsterdam right now, presumably with his new wife on his honeymoon. And if we know JR Smith like we think we know JR Smith, the dude is in Amsterdam to party and get high as hell.

Except, according to this JR Smith Instagram, he’s sober as the Pope and staying away from pot. Take it from the NBA champion himself!

Call me a skeptic, or someone with a brain, but I just don’t believe him. First off, anyone who tells you out of nowhere that they’re not high is definitely high. Can’t even give him the benefit of the doubt here. And then he goes ahead and posts a video in an elevator that he calls dope because it’s an elevator that we should see.

But the thing is, the elevator isn’t even that nice. It’s not even different. It’s just a mirrored elevator you’d expect to see in a European hotel that a millionaire athlete would be staying in.

I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m dying for the NBA to come back.

After a long half year without football, the NFL is finally back, and it all begins with HBO’s Hard Knocks! This season, they will be in training camp with the newly relocated Los Angeles Rams.

Hard Knocks is a reality sports documentary TV show produced by a partnership between NFL Films and HBO. The show’s first season, which followed the Baltimore Ravens, premiered in 2001. Each season, Hard Knocks follows an NFL team through its training camp and covers the team’s preparation for the upcoming football season. The NFL and HBO have called Hard Knocks “the first sports-based reality series” in television history.

The series showcases the lives of the players, coaches and staff, including their family life, position battles, and even inside jokes and pranks. It particularly focuses on rookies’ adjustments to playing in the NFL, usually with the most emphasis on the team’s most recent top draft pick. The show also usually chooses to focus on undrafted and journeyman players who are attempting to make the team.

A film crew of 30 is on-site at the training camp and set, which launched in 2001 following the Baltimore Ravens, and since has won 14 Sports Emmys. On March 23, 2016, it was announced the Los Angeles Rams will be the team featured for the 2016 season premiering on August 9, 2016.

The first episode of Hard Knocks was awesome, especially the hilarious scene where Coach Jeff Fisher had to cut rookie wide receiver Deon Long because he had a lady in his room at night, which was in violation of the rules. Tonight’s episode promises to be just as great, so make sure to find out how to live stream it below!

Hottest Long Jumpers

The 2016 Rio Summer Olympics are underway, and one of our personal favorite events have been great so far: women’s long jumpers. Maybe we enjoy it because of the level of athletic competition. Or maybe it’s just because these races are always chock-full of gorgeous young ladies. Whatever the reason, we love watching the action in Rio.

Women’s long jump kicks off August 16 at 8:05 P.M. EST, and concludes the following night on August 17 at 8:15 P.M. . Compared to other Olympic Sports, long jumping’s format is relatively simple. There are two rounds: qualifications and the finals. The qualifications are made up of 2 groups, Group A & Group B, with each group consisting of 19 competitors.

We searched low and high to find the hottest long jumpers in the world, so enjoy!

Canadian Beach Volleyball Team

pavanbansley.com

Heather Bansley and Sarah Pavan are one of two women beach volleyball teams that are representing Canada at the 2016 Olympics. This is the first time that Canada has ever sent the maximum amount of women beach volleyball teams to an Olympic Games, which is a pretty awesome accomplishment for a country known for hockey, cold weather, and being way too polite.

Speaking of first times, both the 28-year-old Heather and the 29-year-old Sarah made their Olympic debuts in Rio. The pair has been playing together since 2013, and they came in fifth at the 2015 World Championships.

Heather played indoor volleyball at the University of Toronto, while Sarah had a ridiculous indoor career in the U.S. at the University of Nebraska. Sarah was a four-time first team All-American, an NCAA champion in 2006, and the Most Outstanding Player of the 2006 NCAA Women’s Volleyball Tournament.

At the 2016 Olympics, Heather and Sarah won Pool E with a perfect 3-0 record. They didn’t lose a single set in wins over Jantine van der Vlist and Sophie van Gestel of the Netherlands, Joana Heidrich and Nadine Zumkehr of Switzerland, and Karla Borger and Britta Büthe of Germany.

They continued their march towards a medal with a 2-0 sweep over fellow countrywomen Jamie Broder and Kristina Valjas in the round of 16. Heather and Sarah’s next match will take place against Laura Ludwig and Kira Walkenhorst of Germany on Sunday, August 14 at 3:00 p.m.

To prepare yourself for the big game, check out Heather and Sarah’s 22 hottest photos in the gallery below.

People Are Upset Because This Set of Twins Finished a Marathon While Holding Hands

Lisa and Anna Hahner finished 81st and 82nd in the women’s marathon on Sunday during the Olympics. The German Twins only mad headlines because of their decision to join hands before simultaneaously crossing the finish line. Their actions, with no surprise, sparked outrage among those who didn’t have anything better to be upset about.

According to The New York Times, track and field officials accused the two sisters of treating the events as if it were “a fun run”. You can read the full article here.

Anna, one of the twins, was quoted saying that “It was a magical moment that we could finish this marathon together. We did not think about what we were doing”. The sisters trained for four years before participating in this years Olympics and were just genuinely excited that they mad the journey together, and in that split second, decided to show their support for one another by holding hands.

So, who’s upset?

Well, according to The New York Times, Thomas Kurschilgen,  a sports director of the German Athletics Federation, wrote in an e-mail, “Still, every athlete in the Olympic competitions should be motivated to demonstrate his or her best performance and aim for the best possible result”. He also went on to state that “Their main aim was to generate media attention”. Which I highly doubt.

Besides all of this, I am happy to admit that Twitter users have shown that they are capable of being rational:

These two literally came out of the womb together. Is it really that big of a deal that they decided to cross a finish line together?

Kevin Smith’s Daughter Says Cyber Bully has a “Tiny Dick”

In reaction to a comment made on his daughters Instagram post, Kevin Smith responded with a rather long and certainly justified caption for an Instagram post of his own. You can see his original post below:

Instagram Photo

Although the entire caption is beautifully written, I have taken upon myself to rank the top 5 experts because I know half of you won’t bother to actually read the entire thing.

5. “Because randomly attacking others merely communicates how creatively and emotionally bankrupt you are”

Damn son, you have ZERO creativity and ZERO emotion. Recipe for an A1 cyber bully if you ask me.

4.  “way to unload on a teen girl because YOU have nothing to do in life”

3. “if you hate me (or my kid) this much, the better use of your time is to make YOUR dreams come true, instead of slamming others for doing the same”

He just genuinely wants this kid to follow his dreams.

2. “I’d be mad if I had a tiny dick and anonymous voice too” – Harley Quinn Smith

His daughter is a savage.

1.“Attacking teen girls on the Internet is the saddest form of masturbation that exists and requires no discernible skill or talent”

I chuckled after “masturbation”.

He dropped some serious truth bombs. Someone should seriously go check on this kid and make sure he is ok. I know he’s a bully, but I’m slightly concerned for this kids potential to harm himself. And yea, this is probably one of the greatest things to happen in the fight against cyber bullying, but I can promise you, cyber bullying will never stop.

The Milwaukee cop who fatally shot Sylville Smith has been identified as Officer Dominique Heaggan-Brown, a two-year veteran of the Milwaukee Police Department. According to the NY Daily News, the Milwaukee Police Department shared a 2014 image of Brown, identifying and lauding Brown as the rookie cop who helped a homeless woman find a warm meal during frigid weather.

Heaggan-Brown was known locally as KB Domo, a rapper who often collaborated with hip-hop artist Dae Flywalker. In June 2015,  Heaggan-Brown appeared in a music video posted on YouTube called “Monster Freestyle,” a tribute to Meek Mill’s “Monster,” rapping the lyrics: “Imma start a riot like it’s Baltimore.”

The sister of the victim, Sherelle Smith, said Heaggan-Brown and her brother Sylville knew each other from high school.

Dude, I’ve wanted a drink as a bad as the next guy, but this is next level. Where’d he get the keg? Couldn’t he have gotten himself a regular beer at the same exact place he got the keg? I know what you’re thinking: are you sure this is Australia and not Florida? And yes, I am sure. The man was trying to break into the Howl At The Moon pub in Queensland, Australia. The owner of Howl At The Moon pub, in a classic Australia move, saw the funny side after a bumbling thief attempted to break into his establishment on July 28.

As you can watch in the video below, this Australiabro (fun fact: there is no autocorrect for Australiabro, so apparently that’s a real word?) tried breaking into Howl At The Moon by hurling an entire damn keg at the door. However, he was only able to make a small hole in the door. So what’s Darwin’s next idea? To crawl through it, of course! He is then seen poking his head and body through the broken glass, all while masterfully smoking his boge in his mouth and reaching for a door handle. Quite an impressive coordination for a man this wasted if you ask me.

According to the report from Telegraph, once inside the bar, all he did was pour himself a Coke, actually cleaned up his glass, then casually left. Bizarre.

He handed himself into police the following day and is currently awaiting charges.

Check out Howl At The Moon Surfers Paradise’s Facebook: this bar actually looks like a f*cking blast, so maybe I understand why homeboy up there was so desperate to get in.

Australia and Lithuania play in the first game of the Men’s Olympic Basketball quarterfinals today, meaning that we’re officially in the elimination rounds. The Aussies and Lithuanians tip off today at 10:00 A.M. EST and the game will be aired on the USA Network, but will also be available on the Basketball Specialty Channel and via NBCSports Live Stream (if you’re trying to watch it online).

The Australian Boomers, led by Patty Mills and Andrew Bogut, are expected to win today over a Lithuanian team who’ve twice ruined the Aussies chance at Olympic gold (once in 1996 and then in 2000). If anything, I feel like that will fuel the Australians to win even more, especially considering how tough and enforcer-like they played against the USA. Andrew Bogut and Aron Baynes won’t be taking flack from anyone, regardless of how early in the morning it is.

Couple Who Live Near Pokemon GO Gym Are Sick Of Being Overrun By Millenials, File Class Action Lawsuit Against Niantic

Pokemon Go Pikachu lawsuit

It appears the honeymoon with Pokemon GO is coming to an end, as more and more issues surrounding the game arise. The latest comes out of Detroit, where a couple says they “don’t feel safe” due to the fact that they live within close proximity to a Pokemon Go gym.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the plaintiffs are suing three defendants: Niantic, the San Francisco-based software company that developed and published Pokémon Go; Nintendo, which owns 32% in the Pokemon company and receives a percentage of all Pokémon Go revenues, and Pokemon Co., which is headquartered in Tokyo. None of the defendants could be immediately reached for comment.

The lawsuit, filed in federal court in California, seeks to stop Pokemon from designating GPS coordinates on or near private properties without an owner’s permission. It also seeks to force Pokemon to share a cut of its profits with the residents whose yards and streets — the suit claims — contributed to the game’s wild success. According to the lawsuit, as of July 23, Pokémon Go had been downloaded more than 30 million times and made more than $35 million.

As for Scott and Jayme Dodich, the couple behind the lawsuit, say:

“Nobody gets sleep anymore,” the lawsuit says.  “How is this acceptable? … They hang out on our lawns, trample landscaping, look in vehicles … We don’t feel safe … I don’t feel safe sitting on our porch.”

In the Dodichs’ case, they live across the street from Wahby Park — a Pokemon hotspot that has a so-called Poke gym and at least seven stops that draw hundreds of players on any given day. While I don’t see how they feel threatened by a bunch of feeble millennials with their eyes glued to their phone screens, I can understand that it’s probably super f*cking annoying having these leeches crawl all over their property.

Today’s Men’s Olympic Basketball game between Spain and France is going to be an extremely great matchup to watch, due to the teams’ extremely bitter rivalry. In the photo above, you can see Jose Calderon and Marc Gasol confronting Nicolas Batum immediately after Batum literally punched Juan-Carlos Navarro in the nuts in the final seconds of the London 2012 quarterfinals. That highlight is definitely worth a watch, but I’d like to add that when Batum was asked about why he did it, the Frenchman explained that he “wanted to give him something to flop about.” As far as honest responses go, that’s one of the best.

But we digress.

Spain started out extremely cold, but slowly started picking it up after losing to Croatia and Brazil. Similarly, France started the same way. We’d like to give Spain the benefit of the doubt in this game, although the truth is that it’s too close to call definitively. Spain certainly has the big name talent, but either team is capable of coming away with a victory.

Trump Supporters Believing Outrageously Fake Campaign Ads Shows How Brainless These People Are

Trump supporters vs. Triumph the insult comic dog

Maybe even more surprising than these Donald Trump supporters’ reactions is the fact that Triumph The Insult Comic Dog still maintains a shred of pop cultural relevance. I mean, seriously, I remember when Eminem was actually beefing with this puppet back in the early 2000s. Yet here he is, “hosting” hilarious political videos in 2016.

In partnership with Hulu, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog staged a focus group with Trump’s biggest supporters, presenting a series of increasingly outrageous and extremely fake campaign ads to find out how far they’re willing to go in support of their candidate.

Unsurprisingly, they mindlessly found a way to agree with every single one. Even the one plan where we “strategically plant porta-potties near places where Mexicans congregate- Home Depots, migrant farms -that lock from the outside. Once all the porta-potties are filled and locked, they’re lifted by crane and put onto a flatbed truck, and driven across the Mexican border.”

Every single one of these people thought it was a reasonable idea. Every… single… one. Wow. Just wait till they get to the ad that suggests we start snatching up all of the housekeepers.

Neymar hasn’t done all that much these Olympics, but he just scored an Olympic record 16 seconds into their semi-final game against Honduras. It wasn’t the cleanest looking goal in his highlight reel, but a goal is a goal is a goal is a goal.

Following the surprise goal, Neymar went down for a couple of minutes, causing a lot of Brazilians to hold their breath as Neymar seemed to clutch his chest. He eventually returned to the pitch, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he pulled a muscle in his chest. We’ll see what happens as the game progresses.

The Unofficial Michael Phelps Diet And Fitness Plan

Michael Phelps Workout Diet Plan

Michael Phelps knows a thing or two about diets, workouts, and training regimens. The Team USA swimming legend has earned 28 medals in total, 23 of them gold. So whether you’re a competitive swimmer, or you’re just looking for a new (and difficult) way of getting into shape, taking a page or two from Phelps is a good way to get started. His workouts are a solid way to build lean, strong muscle, built for sprints, both in the water and on land.

Just like any workout or fitness plan, there are two separate parts: the workouts and the diet. It’s definitely best to combine smart lifting and eating, but if you ask a fitness expert, they’ll tell you that what you put into your body is the most important. For example, back in 2008, the 23-year-old Phelps was eating 12,000 calories a day. Now that he’s 31, the same diet of a pound of pasta for lunch and dinner would render him unable to compete.

Still, he’s training extremely hard but is just smarter with his dieting. Phelps now guesses he eats somewhere around 3,000 calories a day–an amount that requires a solid amount of work to keep the weight off.

Michael Phelps Daily Diet

We’ve included Phelps 2008 diet and his 2016 diet, both of which are at opposite sides of the spectrum. If you’re young, extremely athletic and looking to be fit as f*ck, you’re welcome to try out the 2008 diet. But if you gain like 20 pounds, don’t blame us. You’re probably better off sticking with his 2016 diet, considering that there’s a considerably smaller amount of food that you need to eat.

2008: 12,000 calories per day

Breakfast:
3 fried-egg sandwiches loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions and mayo
2 cups of coffee
1 five-egg omelette
1 bowl of grits
3 slices of French toast topped with powdered sugar
3 chocolate chip pancakes

Lunch:
1 pound of enriched pasta
2 large ham and cheese sandwiches with mayo on white bread
1,000 calories in energy drinks

Dinner:
1 pound of pasta
1 entire pizza
More energy drinks

2016: 3,529 calories per day

1 large bowl of oatmeal
1 large omelette with ham and cheese
Fresh fruit
Coffee
1 foot-long meatball marinara sub from Subway
2 plates filled with whole grains
Lean meats
Fresh vegetables

Ivet Miroslavova Lalova-Collio is a Bulgarian sprinter who actually has been on our radar since 2012. Lalova-Collio is a Bulgarian athlete who specialises in the 100-meter and 200-meter sprint events. Lalova-Collio is also pretty damn good, too. She is the 12th-fastest woman in the history of the 100 metres and is tied with Irina Privalova for the fastest time by a sprinter not of West African descent.

In her competitive career, Lalova-Collio finished fourth in the 100-meter and fifth in the 200-metres at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Her career was postponed until May 2007 due to a leg injury. In June 2012, she won gold at the 2012 European Athletics Championships in the Women’s 100 metres. In July 2016 she won two silver medals at the 2016 European Athletics Championships in both the Women’s 100-meter and 200-metres.

Lalova-Collio will be competing at the 2016 Rio Olympics, so make sure you check out her 22 hottest photos below! She’s definitely worth the time.
