Australian swimmers Cate and Bronte Campbell are fan favorite Olympians down in Rio, partly because they’re both attractive sisters, but also because they’re both d*mn good at their sport. Older sister Cate currently holds the world record in the 100m Freestyle (and the Olympic record which she broke in the earlier heats) and Bronte is a world champion in the same event, but now the two of them will compete in the Women’s 100m Finals tonight.

Incredibly, both students were actually Auburn Tigers here in the USA before Cate graduated this summer. Cate’s decided against using social media this Olympics, but we’d have to guess that once her events are finished, she’ll upload a ton of pictures of her experiences.

NBC is going nuts for these two mediagenic athletes, so we’re guessing that you’ll be seeing a lot more of them in the upcoming events.

France will take on Brazil at 2:30 P.M. EST in today’s Women’s Basketball action from Group A. Currently, the host nation of Brazil’s women’s team is sitting at the bottom of Group A with only three points, so they need more than just a win today to advance–they need to run the score up to win the tie-breaker.

France, meanwhile, has performed up to par. Center Isabelle Yacoubou has been dominant at times but needs solid guard play around her to play better if they hope to make a splash in the elimination rounds.

Two bombs exploded in the coastal resort of Hua Hin tonight, an extremely popular tourist destination in Thailand. Originally it was believed that the bombs were placed on motorcycles, but now police say that the explosives were hidden inside pots and detonated by mobile phones.

Because the attacks happened during the middle of the night local time, there’s not a lot of information currently known. But here’s what we know so far.

What Happened?

We now know that bombs went off at 10:45 P.M. and then again at about 11:05 P.M. The first bomb seems to have been set up near a “beer bar” and the second around an intersection, right by where a female food vendor was selling salad. The first bomb doesn’t appear to have hurt anyone.

Two bombs have exploded in the Thai resort of Hua Hin, killing at least one woman and injuring 10 people, including foreign tourists, police say. The bombs were hidden in plant pots spaced 50m (164 ft) apart, and detonated by mobile phones within half an hour of each other, they added.

Twin bombings are a regular occurrence in Thailand’s three southern provinces, which are wracked by an insurgency.

Who Was Hurt?

The exact number of casualties isn’t known yet, but the Daily Mail reports that at least one woman has died. Since it’s a popular destination spot for tourists, it’s believed that there are multiple casualties. There are some reports that at least 12 have been injured.

Various tweets suggested a foreign couple with a child were badly injured, with “bones left sticking out of their legs.”

Sausage Party is the first comedy of its kind, and when it’s all said and done, will be the funniest movie of the year, partially thanks to Seth Rogen. Uncle Seth was on The Howard Stern Show promoting Sausage Party when he disclosed the gem of a story about how the creators behind the movie worked their way down from the dreaded NC-17 rating.

I’m going to see this tonight and I honestly can’t f*cking wait. I’m of the opinion that Seth Rogen is one of the greatest comedic minds in Hollywood today.

Spain and Nigeria will be the second game of Group B Olympic Men’s Basketball action today, starting at 6:00 PM EST. The game will air on the Olympics Basketball Specialty Channel (check your local listings for channel number), with coverage beginning right at tip-off, but you can also choose to live stream the game on your mobile device or computer. Pau Gasol might be hoping you do neither, though, considering that he’s had a rough go in Spain’s last two disappointing losses.

In Spain’s first game, he had his last-second shot blocked by Croatian Dario Saric. Spain lost that 72-70. Then in their chance at redemption against Brazil, Pau Gasol had the chance to knock down two free throws to put them up three points with seconds left. He clunked both from the charity stripe and Brazil came down the court and scored on a putback. Spain lost that game 66-65. So today, they play Nigeria at a time when they desperately need a win most. Are they going to win? We’d normally say yes, but anything is possible…

Whitney Miller first made a name for herself when she won Miss USA 2012 representing the state of Texas, but she’s since then she has traded in the pageant stage for the boxing ring. The former Miss USA will debut her amateur boxing career on August 11 against River Fuller, someone who’s already gotten seven fights under her belt.

Obviously, the main storyline here is that Fuller is a veteran who works full-time at a bar, whereas Miller is the pretty girl who has it all. But don’t let her good looks fool you, Miller is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu blue belt. That’s no easy feat.

Tonight is the finals for the Men’s 200m Individual Medley Swimming. The participants are Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte, Hiromasa Fujimori, Daniel Wallace, Thiago Pereira, Kosuke Hagino, Wang Shun, and Phillip Heintz.

Medley swimming is a combination of four different swimming styles —breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly stroke, and freestyle— into one race. This race is either swum by one swimmer as an individual medley (IM) or by four swimmers as a medley relay.

PETA has been a long time victim of trolling but I’ve never witnessed it first hand so I might be a little too excited about this A1 troll game.

The USA takes on Canada today in Group B Women’s Olympic Basketball action at 2:30 P.M. EST, airing on the NBC Sports Network. The USA Women’s Team has been running opponents out of the gym, and we don’t think that today is going to be any different. Canada will be tough competition, but it’s hard to keep up with the likes of Diana Taurasi when she can feed people like Elena Delle Donne, Britney Griner, Sue Bird, and Breanna Stewart.

Like the USA, Canada is undefeated thus far in Group B preliminary play, as they beat China 90-68, Serbia 71-67, and Senegal 68-58. The Canucks will likely place second in the group stage when it’s all over and could possibly play the USA once again in the Finals.

But is Team USA going to score 100+ points on Canada? We’ll be watching to find out.

China and Australia, the two greatest teams in the Pacific, tip off today for some Group A Men’s Olympic Basketball competition. The game will begin at 1:15 P.M. EST and will air on the USA Network. If you’re stuck in class or at work during that time, don’t worry, though, because we’re about to teach you how to live stream the game online.

Australia will obviously be disappointed in the fact that they didn’t win their game against the USA, but it should help the Boomers grow in terms of realizing what they’re actually capable of. It wouldn’t be absurd to say that we could see Australia in the finals game against the USA. Bogut, Mills, Dellavadova, and Baynes are all firing at about 100% and we don’t expect that to change in today’s game against the Chinese.

Meanwhile, the Dragons will have a lot to deal with tonight. Obviously, Yi Jianlian is going to get his points, but how they deal with the physical, annoying Australian defense remains to be seen.

GoldenEye is easily one of the greatest video games ever made, so it makes sense that fans would be trying their best to keep it current and updated. Enter GoldenEye: Source 5.0, a completely revamped version of the classic N64 game. This version of the game can only be played on your computer, using the SOURCE engine, but the good news is that the developers have released the game completely free.

The updated level designs look amazing, the gun models are dope, and best of all GoldenEye: Source still features all of the same gameplay you loved so much (except maybe the floating crouch movement from N64). It’s literally the game you would have hoped for, but made in 2016.

The game/mod just released today, so if you’re not busy this weekend, give it a shot.

The 5’11” setter played her college ball at the University of California, Berkeley, and her résumé as a Golden Bear is highly impressive. She was a three-time AVCA All-American, and she was named the AVCA Division I Player of the Year in 2010.

After graduating in 2011 with a degree in social welfare, Lloyd began taking names and kicking ass on the international circuit. She joined the national team in 2011 and has helped the U.S. win five medals. At the 2015 Pan American Cup, she was named the tournament’s MVP after leading the U.S. to a gold medal.

After graduating from Pepperdine in 2012 with a degree in religion, Hill began pulverizing volleyballs on the international circuit. The 6’4″ outside hitter joined the national team in 2013, and she has helped the U.S. win eight medals. Hill’s most notable accomplishment came at the 2014 FIVB World Championship, as she was named the tournament MVP after leading the U.S. to a gold medal.

This is Hill’s first Olympics, and things have been going swimmingly for her and her teammates. They are in first place in Pool B and have a perfect 3-0 record with wins over Puerto Rico, the Netherlands, and Serbia. The USA’s next match will take place on Friday, August 12 at 2:00 p.m. against Italy.
