Woman Who Tries To Parallel Park But Runs Over A Ferrari Instead Is The Personification Of Monday Feels

Parallel Parking Crash

The following video comes from Great Falls, Virginia at (yupp, you guessed it!) a car collectors gathering. The only thing worse than running over a Ferrari is running it over in front of all of your peers who happen to be car enthusiasts. Actually, it does get worse than that: you run over a Ferrari in front of all your car enthusiast peers… with children in the back seat. That’s definitely worse.

The man in a blue shirt, who seems to be the owner of the now jacked-up Ferrari, says what we’re all thinking:

“Are you fucking serious? That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.”

Cringe-worth footage right here.

Rio Olympics 2016: Hottest Photos Of Puerto Rico Women’s Volleyball Team

Puerto Rico Women's Olympic Volleyball Team

The Puerto Rican women’s Olympic volleyball team is looking for their first ever Olympic medal in Rio. Their previous two Olympic appearances ended with a sixth place finish in 2004 and an eighth place finish in 2008. But just because they haven’t been able to snatch an Olympic medal doesn’t mean that they haven’t had their share of success.

They’ve won three medals at Pan-American Cups, winning bronze in 2009, bronze in 2014 and silver in 2016. Puerto Rico has also won three medals at NORCECA Championships, bringing home silver in 2009, bronze in 2013 and bronze in 2015.

Puerto Rico punched their ticket to Rio by winning the 2nd World Qualifier. They won all three of their matches over the three-day tournament in front of a raucous home crowd at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Check out the hottest photos of the Puerto Rican women’s Olympic volleyball team in the gallery below.

A Game of Thrones Concert Tour Has Been Announced To Get Us Through The Dark & Terror-Filled Winter

game of thrones concert

HBO’s fantasy mega hit and cultural phenomenon Game Of Thrones is launching a nationwide live concert experience tour. We’re not really sure what that entails, but since it has something to do with Game Of Thrones, we’re already on board.

According to EW, the tour is being produced by Live Nation and will be headlined by the show’s composer Ramin Djawadi. The 28-city tour is being pitched as “an immersive music and visual experience that will bring the Seven Kingdoms to life on a scale never seen before. Using state-of-the-art technology, Game of Thrones composer Ramin Djawadi, along with a full orchestra and choir, will take fans on a musical journey through the realm – from King’s Landing to Winterfell, along the northern stretches of the Kingsroad to The Wall and across the Narrow Sea to Braavos, Meereen and beyond.”

Game Of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss said:

“For seven years, Ramin has been blowing our mind with his music’s force, subtlety, and endless inventiveness, The GoT Concert Experience will be unique in the history of concert tours, an eye-popping, ear-splitting, phantasmagoric blend of the show’s visuals and Ramin’s powerful compositions. We are more excited for it than anyone.”

The tour begins on February 15, 2017, in Kansas City, with tickets going on sale at livenation.com this Wednesday, August 10 at 10 A.M. EST.

In an interview with TIME, composer Ramin Djawadi said of the concert:

“The idea behind this is to showcase how the music enhances those experiences for the audience. There’s some great, big exciting moments, like for example ‘Mesa,’ which was when Daenerys frees all the slaves and people will remember that very uplifting moment, but then we will perform some of these heartbreaking moments with real musicians. That’s always very special too because when you see live musicians perform music they put their own emotion into it, and you see a violinist and how their body moves. I think that’s so powerful.”

WATCH: Ball State Football Surprises Walk-On With Full Scholarship In This Awesome Video

$

In this amazing video the Ball State football team surprised walk-on senior defensive end Kyle Seger in front of all of his teammates with the news that he had earned a full scholarship. Kudos to the coach for taking the time to honor his player in such elaborate fashion.

My only qualm is why the hell is this called “The Cardinal is Right”? It’s charades, the game where you have to guess the correct word to describe something. If  the word “charades” was on the screen and someone guessed “The Price is Right”, they wouldn’t say close enough. That guy would be wrong.

Let me stay on topic though. It’s an incredible moment when his teammates and coaches are all losing their minds that he got a full ride and he still has absolutely no idea what is going on. The dude is hardcore focused on the game at hand, which is probably why his team seems to respect him so much. The coach’s speech about Kyle and then the player’s conversation with his parents are also quite heartwarming.

Now back to my random thoughts. Is Clark Barker actually Dale Earnhardt Jr. in a wig?

The World Is Very Lucky Russian Swimmer Yulia Efimova Was Allowed To Compete At The Olympics

Yulia Efimova hot

via Youtube

Yulia Efimova was originally one of the Russian athletes banned from competing at the 2016 Rio Olympics. However, luckily for all of us, that decision was overturned, and Efimova is currently in Brazil showcasing her many talents.

Back in March, while she was Russia’s reigning 100 breaststroke world champion, Efimova failed a doping test and faced a lifetime ban from the sport. Then, Efimova was one of the seven Russian swimmers who were banned from competing at the Summer Olympics for doping, but were reinstated just prior to the beginning of the Games. Team USA swimmer Lilly King did not take kindly to Efimova, wagging her finger at her in Dikembe Mutombo-like fashion, while also saying “You know, you’re shaking your finger number one and you’ve been caught for drug cheating. Just not a fan.”

However, unfortunately for King, and fortunately for the rest of us, Efimova is far and away the most attractive swimmer competing at the Olympic Games, so her attendance in Rio is definitely a plus. Even if she’s a bonafide cheater in the pool, she’s still winning at life as far as I’m concerned.

Quadrooter Is The Newest Android Malware You Should Know About

$

Quadrooter Android Malware

“QuadRooter” is the name for a nasty piece of malware that’s infected a scary number of Android phones, and has the potential to infect a lot more. If you’re currently using a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge, Google’s Nexus 5X, Nexus 6 or Nexus6P, BlackBerry DTEK50, or HTC One M9 or HTC 10, you’re vulnerable. And this particular piece of malware wants all of your data.

What Is Quadrooter?

Quadrooter is a piece of malware named after the Qualcomm chipsets present in vulnerable cellphones. Like most malware, the attacker lures a user into installing a malicious app. That malware then starts at the bottom of your phone’s accessibility, then works itself up through one of four system vulnerabilities until it grants itself root access.

Once the attacker has gotten root access to your phone, the mobile device is no longer under your control.

The good news is that Google has made changes in its monthly security update, but the bad news is that only three of those four vulnerabilities were fixed. The fourth flaw should be nixed by September’s update, although Mashable reports that Qualcomm has already provided a patch to the device manufacturers.

How To Know If You’re Infected By Quadrooter

Checkpoint, the software security company responsible for identifying Quadrooter, has created an app (available on the Google Play Store here) that will tell you if you’re vulnerable.

49-Year Old R. Kelly Has A Teenaged Girlfriend… And The Sky Is Blue

In some of the least surprising news of the day, 49-year-old R&B legend R. Kelly now has a 19-year-old girlfriend. I debated whether I should even post this or not because I’m sure most reasonable people assumed R. Kelly had a girlfriend much younger than him.

R. Kelly has been creeping on young girls for decades now, so at least this time it’s with a girl who is legal. And I’m not going to player hate because the 19-year-old is an absolute babe.

*Thinks about it a little more* Okay fine, it’s pretty messed up.

R. Kelly was spotted Friday night at Atlanta nightclub The Gold Room with the girl, a model named Halle Calhoun. Clearly R. Kelly’s advice “Don’t take no chick to the club when you just met her” doesn’t apply when you are the king of R&B. The two are apparently dating.

The Twitter response today was on point.

In other news, water is wet.

France vs China Live Stream: How To Watch Olympic Basketball Online

China and France will both look for their first 2016 Rio Summer Olympics Men’s Basketball win tonight at 9:30 PM on August 8th. Although the game won’t be found on NBC or any of it’s known affiliate networks, tonight’s game will be shown on the Basketball Specialty Channel . If you don’t know what the heck a Basketball Specialty Channel is, you can either check your local listings for a channel number, or learn how to live stream the game from your phone or computer.

We don’t suggest losing sleep over watching this game, since it’s expected that France will trounce the Chinese, despite the fact that Tony Parker & company were sleepwalking through their last game against Australia. It was a humiliating loss, so look for the French to take that to heart. Also, look for Batum to have more than five points (which is frankly an embarassment).

Yi Jianlian, China’s best player, should be expected to perform admirably tonight, but the lack of consistent guard play for China will be their downfall. That being said, tonight’s game is a must-win for the Dragons. Australia and Team USA are running away with Group A, which means there are only two spots left in the elimination rounds.

How To Stream France vs. China On Your Mobile Device

The game is going to be aired on NBC’s Basketball Specialty channel, but since it’s an NBC property that also means that NBC Sports will be providing the live stream. Your best bet for a quality stream is going to be via the NBC Sports app, which has been already been live streaming Olympic soccer coverage for a few days now.

The only downside to the free app is that it requires a cable subscription log-in. That being said, if you don’t have one you can just ask your friends and family. The NBC Sports app works great for both mobile phones and tablets.

Download NBC Sports for iTunes Store | Google Play Store

How To Stream France vs. China on Your Computer

Similar to our suggestion for watching the France vs. China game on your mobile, head to NBC for the official coverage of the games. NBCOlympics.com is the official provider of online streams and NBCOlympics will even provide viewers with a free 30-minute preview for first-time users. (No word on whether or not that temporary pass will reset in incognito mode, but the safe bet is that it won’t.)

You can live stream the game at NBCOlympics.com

Since being killed earlier this summer, Harambe has established himself as America’s mascot and continues to live on in all of our hearts.

This short clip will only make sense to you if you’re familiar with ESPN’s ’30 for 30′ segments. If not, then take a moment of your time to google “ESPN 30 for 30” and familiarize yourself. Watch the clip below, and pray that someone actually follows up with an hour long tribute to our Nation’s favorite gorilla.

Gone, but never forgotten. Harambes death has sparked a number of “campaigns” as people want to ensure his name and story live on forever.

As always, take a look at some tweets dedicated to my homie, Harambe.

Dicks out for Harambe.

Curt Schilling Says He’ll Run For President, Because Apparently Any Obnoxious B-List Celebrity Can Nowadays

Curt Schilling Says He Will Run For President

(Getty)

Curt Schilling, the retired pitching great and outspoken conservative blowhard who was canned by ESPN, says he’ll run for president in the not-so-distant future. And in case you’re frantically checking right now, this is indeed COED.com and not The Onion.

Schilling was fired as an ESPN baseball announcer because after repeatedly being warned not to post polarizing conservative memes on social media, the guy just couldn’t resist. I understand that we have freedom of speech in this country, but that doesn’t give you a free pass to post whatever you want if you work in a corporate environment like ESPN. What Schilling did was just plain stupid. But I guess it was the first step in his grand scheme to become president.

Curt Schilling said he’ll run for state office first and the white house in 8 years. Then he clarified, “Or 4 if by some amazing illegal event this country elects another clinton”. I don’t even like Hillary Clinton, but the implication that she can only win through an illegal event is just a preeminent excuse by Trump and his supporters and it undermines our democracy.

I guess yet another residual effect of this Donald Trump run is that it’s given hope to every other obnoxious b-list celebrity that they could one day too could be a presidential candidate. While I’m skeptical that Trump’s business background will adequately prepare him to lead the free world, at least the dude is a billionaire. I don’t see how Schilling’s dirty split-finger fastball is going to translate to him being an effective elected official whatsoever.

With that being said, who knows where the Republican party will be in 4 or 8 years. Schilling’s only competition for the nomination might end up being the dude from Joanie Loves Chachi. Even then, I’d still put my money on Schilling losing.

A Quadruple Amputee Just Climbed a Mountain and Now There Are No More Good Excuses

17 years ago, Jamie Andrew lost his hands and feet to frostbite after being trapped in a snowstorm. Today, Jamie has claimed himself as the first quadruple amputee to climb mount Mattehorn in Switzerland.

You can read the detailed article here.

Jamie told The Associating Press that climbing the mountain wasn’t even the hardest part. He stated “In the end, climbing the mountain was the easy bit. It was all the graft and preparation, and trial and error (that was hardest)”.

Although it took Andrews about five hours longer than the average climber, he at no point considered turning back. The man definitely earned my respect and hopefully has yours too.

I never want to hear another excuse ever again.

“I can’t man, I’m too tir-”

*quick jab to the nuts*

I don’t want to hear it. And I can promise you, you will never hear it from me. This guy combined with the kid who biked 50 miles to college has provided me with enough motivation to turn in all my assignments on time this coming semester. Hell, I might even run for president in 2020. I’m feeling pretty unstoppable.

Couldn’t have said it any better, Lori.

No Man’s Sky, The Game With 18 Quintillion Planets, Has Finally Been Released. But How Are The Reviews?

No Man's Sky video game

No Man’s Sky is one of the most unique video games ever released. No Man’s Skys gameplay is built on four pillars—exploration, survival, combat and trading—in which players are free to perform within the entirety of a procedurally generated deterministic open universe, which includes over 18 quintillion (1.8×1019) planets.

No Man’s Sky’s open universe is unlike any ever seen before. According to the official website, whether it’s a distant mountain or a planet hanging low on the horizon, you can go there. You can fly seamlessly from the surface of one planet to another, and every star in the sky is a sun that you can visit. You can explore uncharted solar systems and catalogue unique new forms of life. Every planet’s landscape is different from the next and populated by species never before encountered. You can find ancient artefacts that could reveal the secrets behind the universe. You can choose whether to share your discoveries with other players. They’re exploring the same vast universe in parallel; perhaps you’ll make your mark on their worlds as well as your own.

No Man’s Sky Reviews

Consensus: No Man’s Sky, while grand in size and beautiful in look, can feel monotonous, and at times, overwhelming.

PolygonNo Man’s Sky isn’t the game I expected. ”

GamespotNo Man’s Sky is an impressive technical feat, but its enormity may come at a cost. What does it mean to be alive in a world where everything is driven by algorithms, and your existence is solitary?”

IGN: “Visual diversity is No Man’s Sky’s strong suit. Gameplay diversity might be its weak suit, though, because you do the same things in most of those places.”

Ars TechnicaNo Man’s Sky is both enormous and remarkably simple. Understanding that yin-yang is the first step to settling into the game’s mix of comfortable rhythms, bursts of excitement, and mounting tedium.

The Verge: “It’s really easy to get distracted in No Man’s Sky. While my goal is to get my ship running, so that I can start my long journey to the center of the universe, it’s actually a pretty monotonous thing.”

Business Insider: “The biggest PlayStation 4 game of the year is basically ‘Minecraft’ in space with 18 quintillion planets”

Metro: “In terms of scale No Man’s Sky is exactly what we hoped for, and in terms of its action it’s actually better than we expected. How well the structure and longevity of the game holds together will take us several days to find out, but we honestly can’t wait to get back to it and discover even more.”

Independent: “Already, my sense of wonder has been thoroughly tickled, the drive to discover new planets, new species, even learn new languages, is quite substantial. Hopefully, even without pointers, this will continue, but it really is hard to say at this stage. The only other game that compares to No Man’s Sky is Minecraft, but even then shared points are fleeting. So far, it really is like nothing else out there.”

Drake has been embarking on his Summer Sixteen tour this summer alongside Future. This past weekend, he performed four consecutive shows at New York City’s legendary Madison Square Garden. During his fourth and final performance, Drake brought out J. Cole to perform. Dipset, T.I., Fat Joe, Remy Ma, and J. Cole all made appearances during Drake and Future’s final show at Madison Square Garden.

Cole performed three songs: ‘A Tale Of 2 Citiez’ & ‘No Role Modelz’ off of his album 2014 Forrest Hills Drive, as well as his verse on Jeremih’s ‘Planez.’

Before Cole exited the stage, Drake praised the rapper by calling him “one of the smartest, greatest, most legendary artists of our generation.” While Cole is famously from Fayetteville, N.C., the 31-year-old rapper spent part of his adulthood in NYC, as he attended St. John’s University.

Mid Ohio

We teamed up with Verizon at the Verizon IndyCar Series Honda Indy 200 in Mid-Ohio for “Christmas in July.”  As you can see in the photo above, the Christmas Vacation Cousin Eddie was a popular theme among attendees.

For those of you who don’t know, Mid-Ohio is a big camping race and campers are encouraged to connect wirelessly and decorate their campsites with Christmas decorations. We went around in golf carts with IndyCar drivers (and COED.com friends) Graham Rahal and Conor Daly before the race and helped them award the “most connected campsite.”

The winners of the “connected campsites” used their Verizon iPhone as a hotspot to connect to their laptop by wifi, which was then connected to 3 wireless boom speakers and a projector via Bluetooth.

Verizon has the fastest 4G mobile network, making it easy to connect multiple devices while camping.

Also, special thanks to Honda who helped make Christmas in July an extremely memorable experience for us and the campers. Truthfully, as whacky as a Christmas-themed Indy Car camping event sounds, it was definitely one of the most unique and awesome experiences we’ve ever had here at COED. These races are something you’ve got to check out for yourself.

Dutch Gymnast Celebrates Making Finals, Then Kicked Off Team for Drinking

Yuri Van Gelder

Yuri van Gelder, a Dutch Olympian gymnast competing on the rings, wanted to celebrate the fact that he qualified for the event finals. So the former European champion went out on the town and got blasted, returning to the Team Camp late at night. That didn’t sit well with the Dutch gymnastics association or the Dutch Olympic Committee, both of whom agreed that Yuri needed to be sent home.

In a joint statement, the gymnastics association and Olympic Committee stated that the gymnastics bad boy had “gravely violated” team rules and that they had “no other ” choice but to send him back home.

Who Is Yuri van Gelder?

Yuri van Gelder has a long history in the world of gymnastics. A World Champion on the rings back in 2005, he was named the Dutch sportsman of the year. Ever since then, things have been more than a little crazy for the athlete. In 2009 he tested positive for cocaine, which effectively cost him a spot on the London 2012 Summer Olympic Team. That same test also cost him his role in the Dutch army.

In order to get clean, Yuri spent eleven weeks in a rehab clinic in Edinborough, Scotland. Sadly, literally four days before the 2010 world championships, homeboy found his way back to the nose candy and was forced to withdraw from the event.

Everyone thought that Yuri had cleaned up his act before the Olympics, but apparently he couldn’t leave the party life behind him. It’s pretty sad, to be honest.

What Happened?

After Yuri qualified for the event finals in the rings competition, he allegedly went out to meet his Brazilian girlfriend to celebrate. He left on Saturday evening and returned to the Olympic Village early on Sunday. Doing so, Yuri violated strict team rules and had to be sent home.

“It took Yuri a long time to get here, but unfortunately he won’t be able to finish it,” said KNGU technical director Hans Gootjes.
