Charlotte McKinney Celebrated Her 23rd Birthday As A Single Gal [PHOTOS]

charlotte mckinney birthday party photos 10

Charlotte McKinney celebrated her 23rd birthday at Encore Beach Club and Intrigue Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas — and, yeah, we’re going along with the whole promotional angle here because Charlotte’s birthday is very special to us. After all, COED was following her long before she could even legally promote herself in a nightclub. Also, this was a very special birthday because it seems that Charlotte has finally broken up for good with serial dater Stephen Dorff. [photo: David Becker/Getty]

That probably means Leonard DiCaprio is next up for Charlotte’s parade of admirers, unless things get surprisingly serious for Leo now that he’s with Nina Agdal. Maybe he’ll settle down now that he has an Oscar and doesn’t have to bolster his ego by swooping in on all of our rightful girlfriends.

Also, Charlotte’s career is doing better than Stephen Dorff — who does really well with the ladies when you consider his last big starring role was as the villain in 1998’s Blade. That was a good movie, but it doesn’t warrant him dating Charlotte McKinney.

Charlotte, of course, has plenty to celebrate with her upcoming turn in the big-screen Baywatch with Alexandra DaddarioPriyanka Chopra, and a cameo by Pamela Anderson. She also sure knows how to dress for her big upcoming breakout — and we’ll even plug that she was drinking Ciroc Peach, which also just happens to be our own favorite drink. Hey, Charlotte, we’re still simpatico after all these years…

Suicide Squad Sets Record For August Opening Weekend Despite Dismal Reviews

0
0

On Thursday COED posted an article titled Watching Movies Because “They’re So Bad, They’re Good” Has Been Linked To High IntelligenceI haven’t checked the page views on that post, but I am going to assume most Americans read it and that’s why they went to see Suicide Squad in its opening weekend. Because Suicide Squad shattered the record for biggest August opening weekend, raking in $135.1 million in box office sales, topping Guardian’s of the Galaxy‘s $93.4 million August 2014  opening.

DC proved that as long as you have Will Smith and Margot Robbie playing superheroes, it doesn’t really matter that most critics agreed with Joe Morgenstern of the Wall Street Journal’s assessment that “Suicide Squad amounts to an all-out attack on the whole idea of entertainment.”

Suicide Squad has a 26% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but its marketing blitz of the past few weeks has rendered all the criticism irrelevant. Maybe I’m just an elitist who cares too much what the critics say, but I don’t have time or money to see every movie in theaters so would typically skip a flick that has such a poor consensus. Apparently I’m in the minority though and big-budget mindless superhero movies are exactly what people want to see in August.

The Man Who Allegedly Rocked Charleston Shooter Dylann Roof In The Face Was Bailed Out Of Jail Hours Later

(WCSC

Dwayne Stafford made headlines when he allegedly punched Charleston shooter Dylann Roof in the face in the Charleston County Detention Center a few days back. While normally our society wouldn’t applaud unprovoked assaults, Dylann Roof is one of the most desipicable people on the planet and thus people rightfully celebrated his getting his ass kicked.

On Friday, Stafford was actually released from the jail after posting a $101,000 bond. The 26-year-old African-American been in jail for 18 months on charges of first-degree assault and strong arm robbery, and it is unclear who paid to bail him out. It seems obvious though that this is a direct result of him rocking Roof in the jail bathroom, as supporters started fundraising for him soon after the news broke.

While this might set a dangerous precedent of people looking to knock out celebrities in jail, good for Stafford. While maybe it’s not actually wise for the public to free criminals just for beating up even worse criminals, Stafford took advantage of the system and is now a free man at the moment. If he hadn’t punched Roof, you’d have to it wouldn’t take long before someone else did.

Roof, who killed nine black people in a mass shooting at a Charleston church last year, awaits state and federal trials and could face the death penalty.

Ric Flair Fires Back At Conor McGregor After UFC Star Called WWE Guys P***ies

“For the most part, those WWE guys are p*ssies, to be honest,” Conor McGregor said in a UFC 202 conference call on Friday.  They’re messed up p*ssies, if you ask me.” The comments earned McGregor the ire of wrestling fans around the world so today McGregor tweeted this.

Obviously, the WWE locker room isn’t too fond of McGregor these days. Numerous wrestling stars have fired shots back McGregor’s way. The most notable is “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, who is probably the greatest professional wrestler to ever lace up his boots.

Do you know you’re talking to, Conor?

So yeah, Ric Flair is the motherf***ing man. And today he showed McGregor that to be the man, you gotta beat the man. Or at least Nate Diaz.

Wooooooooooooooooooo!

And here are some other wrestlers’ responses to McGregor on Twitter.

But yeah, maybe all this heat from wrestling fans is meant to set up a future run in WWE? Wishful thinking, but I’d love to see it.

Michelle Jenneke: Hottest Photos Of The Australian Olympic Hurdler

Michelle Jenneke Hot Photos

James Macari/Sports Illustrated

Michelle Jenneke is a 23-year-old Australian Olympic hurdler. The Kenthurst, New South Wales, Australia native set the internet on fire when a video of her dancing before a race at the 2012 Junior World Championships went viral.

When Michelle’s not dominating on the track or making guys weak in the knees, she’s studying Mechatronic Engineering at the University of Sydney. I have no idea what the hell that means, but it sure sounds impressive.

Michelle punched her ticket to Rio by winning the Australian National Championship in the 100 meter hurdles final. This will be her Olympic debut, and I think that every straight male on the planet is praying that she will return many times over. Check out 22 of Michelle’s hottest photos below, and be sure to watch her compete live at 10:05 a.m. on Tuesday, August 16th on NBC.

Let’s Hope The Petition Trying To Get The Bengals Renamed The Cincinnati Harambes Works Out

There is a petition to rename the Bengals the Cincinnati Harambes

(Getty)

The outpouring of love continues to be shown to the late Cincinnati Zoo gorilla Harambe, who was tragically shot dead in May after a 3-year-old child fell into his moat. Yesterday, it was revealed that Boston College’s QB was dedicating his season to Harambe, who he called “the realest there ever was.” Today, Bengals fan Julian Ortiz created a petition on Change.org to rename the Bengals the Cincinnati Harambes that already has 5,597 signatures at the time I’m writing this, including yours truly. By the time you’re reading this it could have thousands more because Harambe deserves it.

The Bengals should actually do this. The only Bengals in Cincinnati are in the zoo, and if you are going to name a team after a zoo animal it should definitely be Harambe. He gave the city 15 great years and deserves to be honored after taking a bullet. Harambe died for your sins.

Plus, it’s not like the Cincinnati Bengals name has any cache. In the Bengals nearly 50 years in the league, they haven’t won a single Super Bowl. Changing the name to the Harambes would both scrub away a half-century of failure and give the franchise the best team name in all of sports. Plus it’d give them an excuse to get rid of those tacky tiger-striped jerseys.

If you want to do your part today in making the world a better place without actually doing much at all, I urge you to sign the petition. We’ll never forget you, Harambe.

San Francisco College Pitcher Shot Dead While Playing Pokemon Go

Calvin Riley Pokemon Go

Calvin Riley, a college baseball player for the Delta College Mustangs, was shot and killed near San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf on Saturday night. Allegedly, the 20-year-old was playing Pokemon Go at Aquatic Park when someone came up from behind him, then shot him in the chest.

Who Was Calvin Riley?

Calvin Riley was a 20-year-old graduate of Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo, California and a phenomenal baseball player. Riley was a rising sophomore at Delta College, where he played ball for the Mustangs. According to SFGate, he was a closing pitcher.

The Rileys and their family had moved from Massachusetts.

He’ll be missed by his friends, family, and teammates.

Riley was a “hard worker, great teammate and unbelievable person,” said Reed Peters, coach of the San Joaquin Delta College Mustangs in Stockton, where Riley played his freshman year as the baseball team’s closing pitcher and was studying kinesiology.

“He is someone we always strive to be like, and he was such a nice kid,” said Joey Skracic, 20, a fellow member of the team’s pitching staff who spent nearly every day of last season working out with Riley. “It’s hard for us to grasp that he’s not going to be there when we all come back in two weeks.

What Happened?

All we know for certain is that Calvin Riley was shot in the chest by an unknown assailant just before 10 PM at Aquatic Park.

One of his friends, who was with Riley at the time, said that they had noticed someone watching from the top of the hill that overlooks the park, but it was dark and they were mostly looking at their phones.

“From what we know there was no confrontation. There was nothing said back and forth. It was just senseless, just came up and shot in the back and ran away for nothing,” Riley’s friend John Kirby said.

No suspects have been arrested at this time.

Rocks FIYA Photos

The Rock just debuted his new Under Armour training sneakers, which he’s dubbed the “Rocks FIYA,” on Instagram. The actor says that these high top shoes are just prototypes, but by the time they debut in 2017 they’ll be ready to… rock. “Been training in these beasts for a year now so by the time they drop to you at the top of 2017 – you’ll know I’ve given my blood and sweat in them and kept it 💯.”

The shoes The Rock showed off are black high tops, with his large yellow bull logo on the heel, and the Under Armour logo on the pinky toe. Additionally, the tongue of one shoe says “Earn It” while the other says “Blood, Sweat, Respect.”

On the mid-foot of the sneakers, there also seems to be motivational quotes or words, using words like “Humble” “Earn it” “blood, sweat” and “hungry.”

Getting camera duty on the beaches of Copacabana is like winning the lottery for the NBC crew working the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics. Host Mike Tirico likes it because he gets to host a big segment on international TV all by himself. The camera crew also likes it, but for different reasons.

Real Life Pixar Animation Villian Martin Shkreli Is Attempting To Revive Harambe

0
0

I’ll be the first to admit, I thoroughly don’t understand the whole Harambe thing. He has been turned into a cult hero of sorts, with posers from Florida to California ironically mourning the fallen Gorilla. A week ago, New York Mag actually published an interesting piece trying to figure out why the internet has taken the Harambe jokes and ran with them. They perfectly echo my confusion with the whole phenomenon when they said “as a running joke, Harambe should have had a shelf life of maybe two weeks. The meme should have died shortly after the animal did.”

But yet, here we are, six weeks after the death of Harambe, and the memes, tweets, and punchlines are still spreading like wildfire. Take a look over at Total Frat Move and Old Row, and you’ll see that Bro Culture has fully embraced the fallen beast as well.

So, naturally, it was only a matter of time before reviled pharmaceutical executive and failed 1990s Batman villain Martin Shkreli thew his hat into the ring (or in Harambe’s case, enclosure).

The guy even updated his Twitter picture and profile to showcase how pro-Harambe Shkreli has become:

So what do you think? Is Shkreli actually trying to revive the late gorilla, or is he just hopping on the bandwagon of publicity, trying to ingratiate himself with the Harambe supporters? But more importantly, if he DID actually pull this off, would you start rooting for the guy?

I wouldn’t. He’s the slimiest serpent this side of Adam & Eve.

Has Anyone Else Noticed The Lawyer In ‘The Night Of,’ Amara Karan, Is Super Hot?

amara karan hot

If you’re like me, you spent most of Summer Sixteen obsessively watching the new HBO hit The Night Of. A deep dive into America’s muddled criminal justice system, The Night Of is about Nasir Khan (Riz Ahmed), who after a night of partying with a female stranger, wakes up to find her stabbed to death and is charged with her murder. During the series, we are introduced to a number of characters trying to help Nasir throughout the show. One of those characters is Chandra Kapoor, one of Nasir’s lawyers, played by Amara Karan.

Amara Karanborn in 1984, is a Sri Lankan-English actress who made her debut as the love interest in Wes Anderson’s The Darjeeling Limited as the sexy train stewardess. However, since then, she has only appeared in five small films, and eight other television shows, which is a damn shame, cause she’s a certified exotic smoke. However, now that she’s got a relatively big role in a hit HBO show hopefully Hollywood will realize how talented she is, and we’ll hopefully start to see more of her.

Serbia vs Australia Live Stream: How To Watch Olympic Basketball Online

The Serbia and Australia Men’s Basketball teams will tip off on Monday afternoon at 1:15 PM EST, with both teams looking for their second win in Group A preliminary competition. Australia is coming off a solid victory over France, whereas Serbia defeated a much weaker Venezuela. A win in Monday afternoon’s game would pretty much guarantee a spot in the next round of Olympic Men’s Basketball, so expect both teams to be going 100%. You can watch the game on TV on MSNBC, or on your mobile device/computer via the instructions below.

The Australian Boomers surprised many with the way they handled talented France, and perhaps the biggest surprise was how good the injured Andrew Bogut looked. It feels like most of Australia’s buckets came from backdoor cuts against a French team that seemed to be ball watching, so we’ll see how Serbia adjusts to that.

Meanwhile, the “Serbian Orlovi” (Eagles) did what they had to do against Venezuela. Led by guard Bogdan Bogdanovic who scored 19 points, they walloped an underwhelming Venezuela.

Expect to see Australia handle Serbia, but crazier things have happened in international basketball. Check out how you can watch the game below.

Serbia vs. Australia Olympic Basketball Game Viewing Details

Where: Carioca Arena 1 | Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Date: Monday, August 8th, 2016
Time: 1:15 PM EST
Event: Men’s Basketball
Teams: Serbia vs. Australia
TV Channel: MSNBC

How To Stream Serbia vs. Australia On Your Mobile Device

The game is going to be aired on MSNBC, but since it’s an NBC property that means that NBC Sports will be providing the live stream. Your best bet for a quality stream is going to be via the NBC Sports app, which has been already been live streaming Olympic soccer coverage for a few days now.

The only downside to the free app is that it requires a cable subscription log-in. That being said, if you don’t have one you can just ask your friends and family. The NBC Sports app works great for both mobile phones and tablets.

Download NBC Sports for iTunes Store | Google Play Store

How To Stream Serbia vs. Australia on Your Computer

Similar to our suggestion for watching the Australia vs. France game on your mobile, head to NBC for the official coverage of the games. NBCOlympics.com is the official provider of online streams and NBCOlympics will even provide viewers with a free 30-minute preview for first-time users. (No word on whether or not that temporary pass will reset in incognito mode, but the safe bet is that it won’t.)

You can live stream the game at NBCOlympics.com

Today In Unsurpising News: Iran Is The First Country To Officially Ban Pokémon GO

iran pokemon go ban

I am on record as being skeptical of Pokemon GO. I downloaded the game day one and deleted it a couple of days later. A combination of boredom and privacy concerns is what influenced my decision, but that’s not the point here. The point is, soon after the game’s release, increasingly ridiculous headlines started to roll out. Two Canadian dudes got themselves detained at the border.  A dating service, PokéDates, was launched. Some kid crashed into a f*cking cop car. This guy got himself caught cheating on his girl. There’s that guy who quit his job to become a full-time virgin “Pokemon Trainer.” One guy fell into a lake while live streaming his Pokemoning on Facebook. There’s the Minnesota man who almost got himself shot. And just this past weekend, although coincidental, a college baseball player was tragically shot while playing.

While Pokemon GO has yet to be officially released in Iran, that hasn’t stopped the country’s government from banning it. According to NBC, Abdolsamad Khoramabadi, a deputy in the country’s Internet Supervisory and Monitoring Committee, announced the game would be blocked for security reasons. Khoramabadi told the Tasnim News Agency:

“Because this game combines virtual and real space as well as other issues … this game can, from a security point of view, create problems both for the country and people.”

Although the game has not been “officially” launched in Iran, players have been able to download it by using software that throws off the GPS location on their cellphones.

Pokemon GO has been downloaded more than 100 million times and is now available in more than 50 countries. Iran is the first one to make it illegal.

Olympic Fails, Rio Summer Games 2016

The Rio Summer 2016 Olympics should be a time of great success for all the athletes who’ve worked their butts off to make it to the Olympic Games, but sometimes things don’t always work out that way. Sometimes, you make a massive mistake at the highest level. And while Nike or Adidas could probably make a rousing commercial about the importance of failure on your way to success, we’re just left here feeling kind of bad for all these Olympians who messed up.

But it’s not just the athletes who’ve been caught mucking it up. Sometimes it’s the parents, or even the camera crew working the Olympics.

We’ll be updating this post with all the FAILs of the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, so keep checking back for more.

Ellis O’Reilly Failed Dismount

Ellis O’Reilly became the first woman in Olympics history to represent Ireland in Women’s Gymnastics, but that doesn’t take away from the fact she’d probably like to get this dismount back.

American Airlines Lost Emiliano Grillo’s Clubs

Professional athletes are just like us, normal people who have to pay taxes and are forced to tweet at airlines when their baggage gets lost.

Extraordinary NBC Camera Work

This isn’t so much a FAIL, but something that you’d probably like to see anyways. Check out what the NBC Camera Guys are actually focusing in on.

Olympics Lifeguard

Even if someone did drown, there’s no way that countries are going to let this lifeguard save their athlete.

Annemiek van Vleuten Horrific Cycling Crash

The good news is that she’s apparently going to be fine. The bad news is that she was leading the pack of cyclists when this happened.

Paramedics Drop Broken Leg Gymnast On Stretcher

By now you’ve probably heard of Ait Said, the French gymnast whose leg snapped in half. It’s one part sad and the-rest-of-the-parts horrifying, so we’re not calling that a FAIL. What is a FAIL are the motherf*cking paramedics who dropped Said’s stretcher while putting him into the ambulance.

Aly Raisman’s Parents Reaction

Anyone who’s ever had a parent attend a sporting event knows that they can work themselves into all sorts of trouble. Here we see Aly Raisman’s mom successfully embarrassing her daughter.

Kei Nishikori Racket Drop + Recovery

This is more of a fail for the Spanish player who could have 100% put away Kei Nishikori, but instead hit a little dribbler right at him.

Gotham Recast Poison Ivy For Season 3 And She Is The Definition Of An Upgrade

Gotham recast Poison Ivy

via Fox

During the first two seasons of Fox’s smash hit Gotham, supervillain Poison Ivy was played by Clare Foley in a guest role. However, since Ivy was promoted to being a series regular for season 3, they needed recast her with an older actress. As the official Gotham Season 3 synopsis states:

The series also will catch up with the future POISON IVY (Maggie Geha), who, after an encounter with a monster from Indian Hill, finds herself reborn as a young woman who’s harnessed the full power of her charm.

With the recasting of the iconic role, Fox landed on red-hot redhead Maggie Geha. Poison Ivy is the 28-year-old model and actress’ biggest role to date, after having minor roles in Ted 2 and Winter’s Tale. In the comics, Poison Ivy’s body produces pheromones that make people, especially men, susceptible to mind control around her. With Geha’s supremely exotic look, it’s easy to see her being able to pull off mind control on men. If you haven’t watched Gotham before, Geha is certainly a reason to catch up now.

Women Olympic Volleyball Team USA 2016

Photo by Sean M. Haffey/Getty Images)

The 2016 U.S. women’s volleyball team is looking for that elusive gold medal in Rio. The USA has won silver at back-to-back Olympics, and they’ve won four medals overall in indoor volleyball. They brought home silver in 1984, bronze in 1992, sliver in 2008, and silver in 2012.

While that résumé is highly impressive, the fact that they’ve never won it all has my red, white, and blue blood boiling. This is America. The land of the free, the home of the brave, and the place that wins every goddamn sporting event.

The U.S. did win the most recent FIVB World Championship in 2014, so I’m thinking that it’s finally their time to snatch that coveted Olympic gold medal. And here’s a gallery of the beautiful ladies that are going to get the job done. Look out world, these gorgeous and super talented badasses are coming for their rightful spot atop the volleyball mountain.

Namibian boxer Junias Jonas has been arrested on suspicion of attempting to sexually assault a woman in the Olympic Village. The 22-year-old boxer was arrested by Brazilian Police on Friday and was unbelievably the second Olympian boxer arrested for the charge that day.

Moroccan boxer Hassan Saada was also arrested for the same charges.

It seems almost incredible that athletes within the same sport, from the same continent, would be arrested for crimes so egregious within hours of the Opening Ceremony.

Who Is Junias Jonas?

Junias Jonas is a welterweight boxer representing Namibia, who was actually chosen to be the country’s flag-bearer in the Opening Ceremony. Junias was scheduled to fight France’s Hassan Amzile this Thursday. It’s not expected that he’ll compete in the Olympics.

Jonas won the silver medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games for Men’s Light Welterweight.

What Happened?

Allegedly, Jonas is being accused of trying to grab and kiss a woman at the athletes’ village. The woman also complains that he offered her money for sex.

Detective Rodrigo Amorim of Rio’s Police had this to say. “I can confirm that a Namibian athlete named Jonas Junias Jonas was arrested this morning on suspicion of attempted rape of a female in the Olympic Village. The incident occurred last week. The accused has been detained in Recreio police station and unless he gets habeas corpus he will be transferred to prison in Bangu later today.”

Brazil’s Criminal Code states that a crime of rape occurs if offender forces the victim to have sexual intercourse, to practice lewd acts, or forces the victim into performing a sexual act. Pretty much anything sexual performed without consent is considered rape.

Jonas was taken to Recreio police station, and will be transferred to the high security prison of Bangu by the end of the day if he hasn’t been bailed out yet. Both the IOC and the International Boxing Association are deferring to Brazilian law here.

“Brazilian law needs to be respected and this is something that we have to agree on,” said Mario Andrada, a spokesman for the Rio 2016 Organizing Committee, to USA Today. “What we need to do is make sure that all the legal procedures are being followed and we understand that they have.”

**I’m not someone who’s regularly caught wearing a tinfoil hat or talking about chemtrails, but boxing’s governing body, the International Boxing Association (AIBA), is horribly and amazingly corrupt. Read this amazing piece by Deadspin (RIP) on corruption in the last Olympics. It’s literally disgraceful.

So that being said, it would not surprise me if it was discovered that there was something fishier going on, than these two boxers trying to rape two women. Or maybe they’re just scummy pieces of trash who thought they could get away with it in Rio. We’ll have to wait and see.**

Dude Shares The Certifiably Insane List Of Rules His Girlfriend Gave Him Before He Went On Vacation

Kieran Lumsden, wherever you are right now, bail. Just dip, dude. This is just the tip of the iceberg, my friend. You’re a young man, get out while you can. Kieran Lumsden from Edinburgh recently shared the commandments his girlfriend Whitney Travers wrote for him before he went on vacation with his bros to Magaluf, and island off of Spain.

Kieran, don’t let the bright colors and seemingly joking nature fool you: this is just the tip of the iceberg. She’s using the playful nature of list making to disguising her stage-5 clinginess. Trust me, no matter how she acts, deep down, this is how she feels. Number 5: don’t mix drink? Come on, Whitney, women invented mixing drinks. Also, number 10 is a total lose-lose: how do you know what she considers flirting? If you cop to it, you’re a cheater. If you don’t, then the definition of flirting can be lost in translation, and you’ll be accused of being both a liar and a flirt.

Boys, let this be a warning to you all: a physical, tangible list of rules is never a good sign.

Kieran’s post has garnered 13,000 likes and over 6,000 retweets

Team USA will look to continue their domination of Olympic Men’s Basketball against Venezuela this evening. The game will air on NBC Sports at 6:00 PM EST, but if you’re looking to watch the game away from your house, we suggest getting a couple of things set up before the onslaught begins.

Obviously, the USA is favored here, but here are a couple of things that we’re expecting: Kevin Durant to score 20+ again, DeAndre Jordan leads all rebounders by a sizable amount, and that Team USA scores 100+ points.

Venezuela, on the other hand, is coming off a pretty tough defeat against Australia and probably won’t try their hardest against Team USA. They’ll need to rest their best players if they have any chance of advancing to the next round, and beating the USA isn’t in the cards.
