The synopsis for Season 6, Episode 4, “Book Of The Stranger”:

“Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) strikes a deal. Jorah (Iain Glen) and Daario (Michiel Huisman) undertake a difficult task. Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Cersei (Lena Headey) try to improve their situation.”

My thoughts on what all that means:

-Not quite sure what kind of deal Tyrion could be striking other than some sort agreement with the Sons of the Harpy. With Lord Varys finding out who has been funding the Sons of the Harp rebellion.

-Jorah and Daario are going to attempt to save Dany, quite obviously. Whether they are successful or captured, I’m unsure of.

-Jaime and Cersei try to improve their position, and I’m not sure if that mean politically or sexually. Probably both. Whatever they do this week, can they PLEASE have Zombie Mountain kill someone?!

-Not mention of Jon Snow, so that means he’s either not in this episode, or doing something too awesome to even remotely spoil. Let’s hope it’s the latter, because I can’t imagine HBO keeping the best character show out of an episode when the show’s popularity is at an all time high. Jon Snow will be in this episode.

And the stories continue.

In the latest election clusterf*ck news, Wendell Pierce, an actor best known for his role as Detective William “Bunk” Moreland on The Wire, was arrested this weekend after allegedly attacking a Bernie Sanders supporter.

While staying at Loews Atlanta Hotel, Pierce — who is a well-known supporter of Hillary Clinton — struck up a conversation with a couple also staying at the hotel around 3:30 am on Saturday. The talk eventually turned political, and Pierce grew enraged when the woman declared her support for Clinton’s Democratic rival Bernie Sanders.

Things got pretty brutal from there. From TMZ,

We’re told Wendell — who played Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in the HBO drama, “Confirmation” — became enraged, pushed the boyfriend and then went after his girlfriend … grabbing her hair and smacking her in the head.

Our source says the girl and her boyfriend went to their room and called hotel security, who then called cops. Pierce was arrested and booked for battery.  He posted $1,000 bond and was released.

Pierce’s reps have yet to respond to allegations, but isn’t is refreshing to hear about a political assault that doesn’t involve a Donald Trump supporter? Nice move PR.

Liberte Chan, an attractive meteorologist for KTLA, was forced to cover up with a sweater this Saturday morning after some viewers began complaining about her cocktail dress. There’s a full video of the event below, which is definitely worth watching. It begins with a behind-the-scenes clip of Liberte talking about her cocktail dress. The video then cuts to her report, when a magical grey sweater shows up on the right-hand screen.

“What’s going on? You want me to put this on? Why? Because it’s cold?” Liberte asks. Then in the background you can hear an anchor reply that, “We’re getting a lot of emails.”

In case you don’t believe that people would spend some time on their busy Saturdays actually taking issue with that, here are some of the emails:

“Liberte Chan looked like she stayed out late at a party and came to work in the same dress. Not appropriate for the morning weather report. The show’s producer should not have allowed her to do the report in a cocktail dress. Handing her the sweater during the report was also in very poor taste. Should have given it to her afterwards. All in all, poorly done.”

Funny enough, the whole handing over of the sweater thing really has people more upset than her cocktail dress. #SweaterGate quickly became a trending topic on Twitter. But don’t take our word for it, check it in the video below.

Thomas Manning is one happy man.

The 64-year-old bank courier from Halifax, Massachusetts, had his penis removed after doctors diagnosed him with an aggressive form of penile cancer. That was several years ago. The surgery may have saved his life, but that doesn’t help the fact that he was left with a one-inch stump afterwards. You can imagine what that would do to a man’s ego.

Luckily, he won’t have to worry about that stump anymore.

This past week, Manning underwent an experimental surgery in Boston to get a whole new penis. After laying for 15 hours on a surgery table, Manning came out a whole new man. From The Daily Mail,

He endured a grueling year of tests and psychological evaluations, but was eventually put on the waiting list and after just two weeks a donor with the right blood type and skin color was found.

During surgery doctors connected nerves, veins and arteries from the donor penis to Mr Manning.

Nerves are then expected to grow into the penis at a rate of about one inch per month, eventually enabling sexual function.

However, it was by no means plain sailing from there – after the operation Mr Manning began to hemorrhage and was taken back to the hospital for treatment.

Thankfully, the complication did not prove to be fatal and after recovering he began to dream of getting his love life back and working again.

Fortunately Manning is taking things slow; he’s still nervous to check out the final results of the life-altering surgery. “If I’m lucky, I get 75 percent of what I used to be,” he said. “Before the surgery I was 10 percent. But they made no promises. That was part of the deal.”

The surgery is part of a research program that aims to help wounded veterans with severe pelvic injuries, as well as cancer patients and anyone else who has suffered a tragic genital accident. While the surgery has an infinite amount of upsides, there’s one thing that really sucks: the astronomical price tag.

According to The New York Times, Dr. Curtis L. Cetrulo, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon and leader of the surgical team, estimated that the cost of the surgery would be between $50,000 to $75,000. In short: first you lose your manhood, then you lose your life savings. Sucks.

Luckily for Manning, his procedure was covered.

According to Trending Mail, if things go as planned, Manning will be able to pee again within a few weeks, and will be able to start boning again just as soon. Hopefully the latter happens first. Because, you know, priorities.

The Alpha Delta Pi sorority at Samford University in Alabama just wanted to make cute t-shirts to celebrate their annual formal. The only problem with that thought was that the ADPi sisters accidentally chose an image of an old Alabama map, featuring a black person eating a watermelon and a slave picking cotton.

Whoops.

Samford University is located in Homewood, Alabama and is home to 5,200 students. The school has apologized publicly for the mistake, even though they weren’t the ones who made it.

Samford University apologizes for the offensive image that appeared on T-shirts. This is completely inconsistent with the university’s mission and values. We are addressing the issue with our Alpha Delta Pi chapter and the international organization and with the vendor who produced the shirt.

To their credit, the sisters of AD Pi have also apologized. The chapter’s president told WVTM that the sorority is “horrified” by the oversight. Take a look at the shirt below and tell me if you think they could have missed the pickaninny image.

If you ever get kicked out of a bar, chances are that you’ll try and do whatever you can to get back inside. We’re not saying you shouldn’t give it the old college try, but don’t offer to take a punch in the head from a bouncer in exchange for re-entry. Because you’ll wind up lying on the ground dead, just like the guy in this video.

Couple of observations here. First of all, this man obviously he wasn’t in a good state of mind (because no one would ever ask a 300-pound bouncer to punch them in the face), but what kind of person asks to be punched in the head and then doesn’t immediately go into a defensive stance?

Second, what kind of a**hole bouncer gets a FREE SHOT at someone’s head and then still sucker punches them?

If someone asked you to guess which gender has “a tendency to act on purely animal instinct,” you’d guess we were talking about men, right? Well in the case of relationships and choosing a mate, therapist Michael Dunaway believes that women are the ones who think with their pants.

This is especially good news for you if you’re in a fraternity or thinking about joining one in the Fall semester, because Mike believes frat bros are the ones benefitting from this kind of wiring.

Women have a tendency to act on purely animal instinct, and in many cases are going to be drawn to an alpha male. Due to many years of genetics it is not uncommon to hear that women are most attracted to the stronger, more confident, and athletic guy Ultimately the males who exhibit these characteristics are more likely to produce stronger sperm, therefore they are able to provide stronger offspring.

And as if that wasn’t enough to make you feel like you’ve got great chances, here’s the icing on the cake: the more f*cked up you are, the more chances you have that one of these women will try and save you.

I’m not going to sit here and say that I didn’t meet any women because of my fraternity, but I was also dating throughout all of college–which was a mistake. So go, be single, and find one of these women who will try and fix you.

If you grew up in a nice Pennsylvania suburb like I did, and attended a massive public high school, you’d know that sex ed was where your sexual curiosity went to die. Thanks to the abstinence only program, I was taught that if you had sex you were probably going to die, contract HIV, or be looked down on by future significant others who were looking for someone “pure.”

It was great. Everything I learned came from books, movies, and whatever my dumb friends had to say about it. But all of those things apparently left out a HUGE element to the necessary education — that despite the standard P in V knowledge, you can also get pregnant from having anal sex.

Dr. Brian Steixner, a urologist practicing at Atlantic City’s Jersey Urology Group, ruined lives in the latest issue of Men’s Health when he detailed his experience with a woman who got pregnant from taking it in the backdoor. While the situation is unlikely — one in 50,000 people will become pregnant from anal sex — the news is still terrifying.

During his med school days, Steixner reportedly treated a woman with a rare condition called “cloacal malformation,” in which the rectum, urethra, and vagina are all connected instead of separated into three tubes.

According to Metro, this is where the possibility of getting pregnant from unprotected butt sex comes in.

Because of this, urine and feces drain into one channel which opens where the anus is located.

The woman had an operation when she was younger to separate the channels, but it went wrong. The surgery caused a fistula, where a tiny hole is formed creating a connection between two organs.

In this case, the woman’s womb became connected to her rectum.

And there is it. Horrifying. Forget what you thought you knew, because this is some serious sh*t right here. If this is Steixner’s way of scaring the sh*t out of people who don’t wear condoms, my guess is it’s working. Always wrap it up!

Singer Sinead O’Connor who was reported “suicidal” and “missing’ earlier today, has been located safely by the Wilmette, IL police department. It was believed that the Irish singer (who has a history of mental illness) might have killed herself after she left a troubling message on her Facebook wall.

It reads like an open letter to her son, Jake:

“Jake, kindly go to the court on Tuesday and take custody your brother from Tusla. My lawyer will be making the illegal way yourself and Donal got him into Tusla (lying to the cops etc) known to the judge. Expect to be in trouble. In fact, you’d best bring a lawyer of your own. And do not abandon your brother or any other of my babies again. What you have done to your brother and your mother is LITERALLY criminal.”

The open letter format, combined with her history of mental illness and an earlier attempt on her own life, meant that people began to fear for the worst.

She was last seen renting a bicycle at 6:00 AM on Sunday. Since that time, the Wilmette police department has been looking for her.

Desperate to make these last few days at college last, one student at UW-Stevens Point filmed himself bonging a bottle of Jack Daniels Honey. The party animal, who goes by Kyle, uploaded the video to Twitter.

In less than eight hours, Kyle returned to Twitter to tell everyone how he was feeling. All things considered, both his spelling and moral compass are incredibly focused for someone who was probably going through the worst hangover of his life.

I can’t fathom the amount of sleepless nights parents go through for the four years their sons and daughters are in college.

Brock Lesnar is one scary dude. He looks like the type of guy that will put you in a world of hurt if you even look at him the wrong way. Just how much, though, is the man worth? It’s clear he’s racking up one hefty paycheck after another from past outings with the WWE, a much publicized transition to MMA (with mixed results), and subsequent return to professional wrestling.

Brock Lesnar’s Net Worth as of 2016: $16 Million

So how did Lesnar go from a farm boy in rural South Dakota to being one of sport entertainment’s most sought after stars? His imposing figure, NCAA accolades, musculature, and a really cool tat on his back certainly helped improve his marketability. Let’s take a look at where it all began. If you’re a pro wrestling fan, this will be a trip down memory lane.

2002 – 2004

It all began in 2002 when Lesnar made his WWE debut as a protégé of Paul Heyman. He abruptly comes from the crowd and absolutely lays waste to the likes of Al Snow, Maven, and Spike Dudley. It didn’t take long to build his reputation from there. Feuds with already-established superstars like Kurt Angle, The Rock, Bill Goldberg, and John Cena (then a heel and wannabe rapper) would quickly propel Lesnar’s name beyond the ring.

2005 – 2007

Lesnar somewhat faded into obscurity during this time, though he was still active wresting in Japan under New Japan Pro Wrestling. There’s not much to discuss here. His salary? Who Knows; but it certainly could not have held a light to what he was making under the WWE brand.

2008 – 2011

Lesnar made his UFC debut in 2008. Keep in mind that Lesnar at this point only had one professional MMA fight, which he handily won. He was immediately thrown into the wolves and pitted against former heavyweight champion Frank Mir. Despite an early successful takedown, Lesnar eventually succumbed to a kneebar and tapped in the first round. Despite losing and this being his debut, Lesnar collected a lavish $250,000. Mir, on the other hand, despite winning and being a veteran of the sport, only collected $80,000. That just gives you an idea of how much Lesnar’s name is worth.

Lesnar’s MMA career would continue. This includes a decisive unanimous decision victory over journeyman Heath Herring.

Even with a 1-1 record in the Octagon, UFC President Dana White immediately granted Lesnar a title shot against highly revered veteran and then heavyweight champion Randy Couture. Lesnar would go on to win and become the new titleholder. Lesnar’s payout? $450,000. That includes a win bonus.

Lesnar would eventually avenge his loss against Mir and make his first successful title defense at UFC 100 with a TKO victory. Payout: $400,000

Note: aside from fighter salary, fighters also receive a portion of revenue generated from pay-per-view buys. Fighters get $1 for every 75K buys.

Lesnar, unfortunately, would end up taking a one-year hiatus from the sport due to a severe bout of diverticulitis, which would require going under the knife. He would eventually return nearly a year later and successfully defend his title for the second time against heavy hitter Shane Carwin. Payout: $400,000.

The title reign would come to an end in his defense against fellow wrestling standout Cain Velasquez, who would go on to crush Lesnar with devastating strikes. Even with the loss, Lesnar gained tremendously on the financial scale. Payout: $400,000

Lesnar’s final MMA match was against veteran K-1 kickboxer Alistair Overeem in a classic “striker vs. wrestler” matchup. Lesnar’s wrestling did him no good as Overeem used his knees and a roundhouse kick to the body to put the former All-American away for good. Even with the defeat, Lesnar pocketed $400,000.

2012 – 2015

Lesnar made his WWE return in 2012 to the roaring delight of the crowd. The return was made especially memorable with an emphatic F5 on John Cena. He would go on to shock the world at Wrestlemania 30 in 2014, emerging victorious against the Undertaker, who went into the match with a 21-0 Wrestlemania win streak.

As for Lesnar’s WWE salary. He is reportedly earning $2 million a year under his current contract. This makes him the fourth highest paid superstar, behind Undertaker, John Cena, and the Rock.

For some reason or another, I used to think that Highly Questionable with Dan Le Batard and Bomani Jones was a bad show. But boy, oh boy, has my opinion of that show changed over the years (mostly because I respect the fact that Dan Le Batard marches to the beat of his own drum).

Today, I got another reminder of why I now love their show.

On their interview with has-been rapper Fat Joe, Bomani and Dan asked Fat Joe who was the subject of Biggie’s song “I Got A Story To Tell.” For those of you who don’t know or don’t care about the Notorious BIG as much as we do, “I Got A Story To Tell” pretty much revolves around Biggie having sex with the girlfriend of a New York Knick. The Knicks player comes home early, and Biggie needs to figure out how he’s going to escape from the house.

Long story short, he asks the girl to tie herself up and then pretends to rob the player–who has no idea that the robbery is a fake. The player not only lets Biggie walk, he gives him a ton of cash and an expensive backpack.

But anyways, we digress. Fat Joe revealed today who the Knicks player was. Anthony Mason.

A Blue Lives Matter display at Dartmouth College was promptly torn down shortly after its reveal thanks so several Black Lives Matter activists, who replaced the original design with BLM material. The display — which was crafted to honor police officers — was covered with flyers that read, “You cannot co-opt the movement against state violence to memorialize its perpetrators. #blacklivesmatter.”

The school’s College Republicans had received permission to put up the display on Friday in honor of National Police Week. It was set up on a bulletin board in the school’s student center. According to a Fox affiliate, Black Lives Matter activists stood guard over the bulletin board for the entire day, while members of the political school group worked to fix the issue with school administrators.

A BLM activist posted the following on Facebook in response:

Eventually administrators granted Black Lives Matter activists control over a nearby board. However, the decision was not taken lightly by the College Republicans. In a letter addressed to the school’s president and board of Trustees, the group asked for equal treatment.

“All we ask is that the protections and freedoms of self-expression afforded to other student organizations be extended to us,” the letter said. “We do not see the Black Lives Matter and Blue Lives Matter movements as mutually exclusive.

“It is possible to recognize the service and contributions of law enforcement officers while simultaneously pushing for reform to correct the grave mistakes of the small minority of officers. On National Law Enforcement Appreciation Week, we just hoped to highlight the monumental sacrifices made by these officers to protect us every day.”

The president of the College Republicans, Michelle Knesbach, joined On the Record to explain the full story. She said that the school’s administration applied a double standard by letting Black Lives Matter have their own billboard without making them go through the three-week process to get approved.

Hanlon called the vandalism “an unacceptable violation of freedom of expression” in a school-wide email, while one Black Lives Matter activist told the Dartmouth Review that her participation in removing the Blue Lives Matter signs was justified. According to the nameless source, the display condoned “police brutality against black individuals” in America.

Then there was this: “It was taken down by students and replaced because it actively co-opted a movement that is supposed to comment on police brutality against black individuals in this country,”said Mikala Williams, one of the many students who helped tarnish the original display. “It took that and by framing that as ‘Blue Lives Matter,’ it normalizes and naturalizes violence against people of color in this country. And that is not okay. That is in no way okay.”

Last night, the unthinkable happened: the Golden State Warriors lost Game 1 to the Thunder in the Western Conference Finals. The Warriors had a healthy double-digit lead a half-time, thanks in part to Russell Westbrook going 1-11 and the ten turnovers the Thunder had at the half. The Warriors were 37-0 this season when leading by double digits at half.

But that all came to a screeching halt in the third quarter, because Westbrook finally showed up. After two quick threes and multiple attacks to the basket, the Thunder were right back in it. Westbrook had 19 points (7-8 from the FT line), 4 steals, 3 assists, and zero turnovers in the third quarter alone.

Perhaps the biggest impact that Westbrook had on the game was keeping Stephen Curry in check. Sure, the MVP got 26 points, but he went 1-6 in the fourth quarter when the Warriors needed him most.

Jennifer Hollis, a 22-year-old University of Houston student, has been missing since 5 P.M. this past Thursday. Accord to a Texas Equusearch missing persons report, she was last seen leaving work in the Houston area.

Jennifer’s family has started a Facebook page to keep volunteers updated and request help.

They believe that she could be in San Antonio, Austin, or San Marcos. From the Facebook page:

Jennifer has been missing since May 12th – we do not suspect foul play. She was last seen on the 12th leaving work around 5pm from the Healing Space where she works as a medical assistant. Best estimate is that her phone has been off since about 7:20 pm Thursday evening so we have no phone records at all since then (data, texts, voice). Since her phone is offline the Find Phone app will not work and we are unable to find her last ping since this is not considered a criminal case yet. We have been monitoring her credit cards, bank account, and phone usage.

Pizza Hut just delivered a perfect nugget of good news: a new pie with beer-infused crust is in the works. And let me tell you, the marketing ploy is sure as hell working on me.

According to The Mirror, it’s currently being tested at only one restaurant in the UK: The Finchley Lido Pizza Hut in London. The menu options are Steak Feast Pizza and The American Hot pizza, which I’m going to assume is just regular old pizza. Works for me!

“We know that craft beers are really popular right now and we’re celebrating this not just by adding craft beers to our menus, but also by adding this to our pizza dough,” explained Kate Austin, Director of HR and Marketing at Pizza Hut. “We also know that for many of our customers nothing beats enjoying their favourite pizza with an ice-cold beer, so we thought this would be the perfect culinary union.”

Genius Kate, genius. She continued: “It took our team many hours to perfect the recipes and flavour combinations, but all of their hard work definitely paid off as we’re thrilled with the results and can’t wait for our customers to try them. We’re proud to be the first chain in the UK to trial a beer-infused dough base, and look forward to hopefully rolling these out nationwide if they prove popular.”

The 2016 NBA Draft Lottery airs tonight on ESPN at 8 PM, but the lottery itself takes place behind closed doors earlier in the day. What is the NBA Draft Lottery?

The NBA Draft Lottery is the system that the National Basketball Association uses to determine which teams get priority in drafting NBA rookies. The 14 worst teams from the past season get priority in an attempt to give the league parity, but there’s still an element of luck and surprise.

The first year the NBA used the Draft Lottery was in 1985, when the New York Knicks won the draft lottery and subsequently drafted Patrick Ewing from Georgetown.

How Does The NBA Draft Lottery Work?

Rather than just giving the worst team the first pick, the NBA uses a lottery system to keep things interesting (and to prevent teams from racing each other to the bottom of the standings to win the first pick). But only the first three draft picks are determined by the lottery. Picks 4-14 are awarded to the teams in reverse order of their records.

So how does the system itself work?

14 different numbered balls (numbered 1-14) are dropped into a lottery machine. Four of those balls are then picked at random to create a four-digit combination.

That combination is then compared to the chart below, which corresponds with a team name. The chart has been weighted to give the worse teams more chances to be called. This year, the Sixers have 250 possible combinations (out of 1001) that can be called. Once a team secures a draft spot, they cannot be chosen again.
