Falcons Schedule 2016: Atlanta Football Game Dates & Start Times

It was going to be very hard for the Atlanta Falcons to win the NFC South last year with how good the Carolina Panthers were with a 15-1 record. Atlanta was the lone team to beat Carolina though with Matt Ryan and Julio Jones leading the way. Those two will need to keep it up as the 2016 season gets going. Atlanta had issues stopping their opponents last season on defense and may need their offense to put up even more points than before to offset that. Can Ryan throw for 5,000 yards while Jones gets 2,000 yards receiving?

Here is the 2016 Falcons schedule….

After getting Marcus Mariota with the No. 2 overall pick last season, fans of the Tennessee Titans were very upbeat about their team and their chances to have a huge 2015 season. Things didn’t fall the way of the Titans as they finished 3-13. Mariota is ready to start his second season under center though and that experience from last season can only help moving forward as Tennessee fights to get better in the AFC South. There is reason for hope with an improved run game to go with a solid draft class. Could the Titans make it to 8-8 this year?

There are high expectations every season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Those didn’t change at all in 2015 as the team went 10-6 and made it to the playoffs. Ben Roethlisberger has become an elite quarterback who will throw for 5,000 yards in a season sooner than later and Antonio Brown is a catch machine with 136 for 1,834 yards last season. Pittsburgh is going to be busy on the holidays this season with games on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Will they make Steelers fans celebrate on each of those games?

Here is the 2016 Steelers schedule….

When you have two Super Bowl rings, people expect Eli Manning to be successful every season. Manning and the New York Giants had another rough year in 2015 with a 6-10 record and a defense that was one of the worst in the whole NFL. Manning can only do so much and did throw for 4,436 yards last season and 35 touchdowns while finding Odell Beckham Jr. plenty along the way. This is a season where New York fans won’t take losing much longer and want to see success again. Will Manning and Beckham bring that success to the Big Apple in 2016?

It has been a long road for the Jacksonville Jaguars to get to respectable status. Blake Bortles is improving every year and the team’s defense is slowly getting better. Jacksonville went 5-11 and had their issues rushing the ball along the way. With more defensive help on the way, the Jaguars could be one of the biggest surprises of the 2016 season. Bortles threw for 35 touchdowns and 4,428 yards and should improve on those numbers moving forward. Will the defense finally slow down their opponents and allow Bortles to win more games this coming year?

Jets Schedule 2016: New York Football Game Dates & Start Times

There is no doubt that many experts didn’t think that the New York Jets would be as good as they were in 2015 with a 10-6 record and just missing out on the playoffs. The team’s defense was outstanding and allowed Ryan Fitzpatrick to just be a game-managing quarterback. With some things falling their way, is it possible that the Jets could win the AFC East this season with the Patriots being down a little? Will New York see more development from their offense especially in the running game? It could be a great year in the Big Apple if everything goes right.

The Detroit Lions have teased fans in the Motor City for a long time now. The 2015 season was one to forget for Detroit fans as the team went 7-9 and now has to deal with the retirement of Calvin Johnson this offseason. Matthew Stafford has been solid but the team’s running game was worst in the NFL last year. If the defense can improve and the running game can do something, Detroit may be able to surprise a few people along the way. However, it looks like it is going to be a long year with plenty of struggles.

It was a magical season in 2015 for the Carolina Panthers as the team went 15-1 and made it all the way to Super Bowl 50 before losing to the Denver Broncos. It is a new challenge in 2016 however for Cam Newton and company as they try to repeat their efforts from last season. The run game averaged over 142 yards per game last year and the offense scored 31.3 points per game. Can Newton and company make the magic happen all over again so they can go to Super Bowl LI? Will the defense continue to play as well as they have in recent years?

When the New Orleans Saints traded Jimmy Graham last offseason, there were serious questions about how the team would score points for Drew Brees. While Brees threw for 4,870 yards and 32 touchdowns, New Orleans went just 7-9 in the NFC South and now the Saints will hope for a much better season in 2016. Brees is getting up there in age as well and the Saints would love to give him one final shot at a second Super Bowl title. Will Mark Ingram stay healthy and help make that happen? Can Brees throw for 5,000 yards again? Anything is possible in the Big Easy.

When the 2015 season, no one really expected the Houston Texans to make it to the playoffs but when the smoke clears, Houston was the AFC South champion with a 9-7 record. Now as the 2016 season gets closer, the Texans will be looking to find a way to do it all over again. Arian Foster is gone from the backfield and the quarterback position seems to be always in flux. The team’s defense has been a strong suit and was top ten in giving up points per game last season. Can Houston make another run at the division title with improving teams all around them?

There is an assumption that the New England Patriots are going to go to the Super Bowl every single year with Tom Brady quarterbacking the team. New England fell one game short of that goal last season and will look again to Brady to get the job done in 2016 after the team went 12-4 in 2015. While the run attack wasn’t very good because of injuries, Brady is still one of the best quarterbacks in the whole NFL and that means New England is going to be hard to stop no matter what until he retires. Will Brady get a chance at his 5th Lombardi Trophy this season? Only time will tell.

There are certain teams around the NFL that no one really wants to see. The Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers would likely be on that short list. Green Bay went 10-6 last season which was good enough for second place in the NFC North behind the Minnesota Vikings. As the 2016 season approaches, there are some things that need to change for Green Bay to get back into Super Bowl contention. Rodgers had an off season and may need to go back to throwing for 4,500 yards for the Packers to win on a consistent basis. The defense has to continue improving as well for a team that may be seeing their window slowly closing.

The offseason has been an interesting one for the Los Angeles Rams, who are now back in California after moving back from St. Louis. The team had a rough year scoring points in 2015 and was last in the NFL in passing yards per game with just 175.3 per contest. Los Angeles drafted Jared Goff with the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. The Rams have to hope that Goff can save their franchise from last place in the NFC West even after going 7-9 last year. Will the big move have a huge impact on the players and their attitudes? Can Goff become the Rookie of the Year?

One of the hallmarks of the Seattle Seahawks in recent years has been their defense. After going to the Super Bowl for two straight seasons, Seattle fell short in 2015 after finishing with a 10-6 record. The defense did their job again, holding teams to 17.3 points a game and the run game was solid with 141.8 yards per game. Marshawn Lynch has retired and now it will be up to Russell Wilson to take up more of the slack on offense. Can Wilson pull it off and can Seattle make it back to the Super Bowl on the shoulders of the Legion of Boom?

After winning the Super Bowl three years ago, the Baltimore Ravens have gone through a lot of changes and haven’t had a ton of success along the way. Joe Flacco hasn’t made the next step forward after getting his ring and now Baltimore is stuck behind two talented teams in the AFC North while going just 5-11 last season. The run game was nearly non-existent last season and the defense has fallen off a cliff. Will things change for the Ravens in 2016 or is Baltimore forced to go into a complete rebuilding mode and hoping for things to change?

It was a surprising season for the Minnesota Vikings in 2015. Minnesota went 11-5 and won the NFC North behind a solid defense and the running of Adrian Peterson. As 2016 gets closer, the Vikings will be looking for Teddy Bridgewater to get ever better to take some of the pressure off of Peterson and allow Minnesota to possibly move deeper into the playoffs after last season’s sad conclusion. There is no doubt that Minnesota is back and will open their new stadium looking like a team that will be very difficult to beat.

There have been plenty of good times with the San Francisco 49ers over the years. The 2015 season was one that the team would love to forget though as they went 5-11 and scored the fewest points in the entire NFL. The new season though will bring changes and new chances for San Francisco to be a team that could make a Super Bowl run sooner than later. Will Colin Kaepernick ever return to his Pro Bowl form? Can Carlos Hyde turn into a dominant running back? Will the defense look better in 2016 than in 2015? A lot of questions down by the bay.

WATCH: Larry Wilmore Drops N-Word At 2016 White House Correspondents’ Dinner [VIDEO]

2016 White House Correspondents' Dinner Video

The 2016 White House Correspondents’ Dinner was held last night, which means that we’re complaining about unfunny Larry Wilmore instead of an unfunny episode of Saturday Night Live. We’ve already addressed the beautiful celebrities on the red carpet for the event. As expected, things went downhill from there.

The White House Correspondents’ Dinner is an annual event where political reporters get to admit that they feel like they’re really celebrities who — much like Susan Sarandon and Steven Seagal — really know much better than normal folks how to live a proper life. Obviously, the success of The Daily Show and offshoots really made the event an even bigger celebration of creepiness over the past two decades.

At least there were a few years when comedians could step up and speak truth to power with a Republican POTUS at the table. The past eight dinners, of course, have just been embarrassingly fawning to the Commander-in-Chief. Wilmore didn’t exactly shake things up. Yeah, there’s a fun dig at Don Lemon of CNN infamy. Otherwise, the guy who’s put an end to post-Daily Show ratings after taking over for Stephen Colbert was just kind of painful to watch.

And yet here’s the video, because you can skip to the end and hear Larry Wilmore say to the President of the United States: “Yo, Barry — you did it, my nigga!” Technically, that’s not the n-word, but it’s bad enough that everybody seems to be saying “the n-word” in their headlines, and we’re not going to push our luck….
