You know what totally sucks? Going to prison. Not only is the food disgusting, but the opposite sex isn’t anywhere to be found and you have no real contact to the outside world unless someone comes to visit you. Which can be a whole other issue in itself — if I was in prison, my parents would definitely not be coming for a leisurely visit.

Luckily the makers of Zanco Fly phone are unknowingly trying to ease the pain of being locked up. With a 0.66-inch screen and $36 price tag, the Zanco Fly is apparently the world’s smallest phone. So small that prison inmates are shoving it up their butt and using it behind bars without getting getting caught.

In a recent interview with Vice, a proprietor of a website that sells the phones said that the Zanco Fly is “pretty good,” but one of the others the company makes is not the best he’s ever seen. Namely because of the batteries — he says that manufacturers don’t but the best stuff in there and for that reason, urges caution when squeezing it between your cheeks.

“If someone rang me and said, ‘I’m going to put one of these up my a***hole,’ I’d say don’t. I’ve heard of people saying they’ve had some of these small phones on charge and they’ve blown up,” he explains. “But it won’t make a big explosion.”

Nice. If you see yourself heading to the slammer in the next few years, make sure to buy this sucker. You can thank me later.

In reality, this counterculture holiday can be traced back to 1971 in—no surprise here—California. A group of five San Rafael High School friends known as the “Waldos” because their chosen hang-out spot was a particular wall outside the school, came up with it. That year, there were rumors of an abandoned marijuana crop hidden somewhere in the woods and these kids were determined to find it. Everyday, after school, they would meet at the Statue of Louis Pasteur on the school’s grounds.

“We would remind each other in the hallways we were supposed to meet up at 4:20. It originally started out 4:20-Louis and we eventually dropped the Louis,” said one of the members told The Huffington Post.

But, remember, this was an inside joke among a group of teenagers. How did it spread across the country? Well, it turns out that the Grateful Dead did have to do with that. When the Dead were touring San Rafael, their real estate dealings was handled by one of the Waldo’s fathers. Also, one of the Waldo’s older brother managed a Dead sideband and was good friends with bassist Phil Lesh. They must have used the term 420 them and they ran with it. And so, history was made.

We should all be so lucky to date an Atlanta Hawks Kiss Cam Pizza Girl at least once in our lives. Forgetting for a moment that the filter celebrating a musician known for much more than just marijuana was released on 4/20, the whole thing was just doomed to fail from the beginning… and that was before I saw how absolutely awful it made me look.

Like, what the hell is that? That doesn’t even look like me and it’s a selfie. I know I’m not what I used to be, but the face you see in the photo above isn’t even human. And if it is human, it’s like the face of those strange open casket funerals you read about in the Dominican Republic where the deceased is sitting upright at a poker table or on their favorite motocycle.

But we digress.

While we’re upset that the filter doesn’t make us look anything like Bob Marley, more people are outraged at the fact that filter changes your skin color. I kind of agree with them. I’m firmly against the whole “we’re offended by everything movement” but if there’s one thing that I’ve learned about not offending people it’s “don’t change your skin color.” That’s going to get someone offended every time.

As marijuana use becomes more prevalent, the negative connotation surrounding the drug is starting to wear off, which means that more people are starting to openly admit that they smoke weed. Hardly a day goes by in NYC where you don’t see a Cannabis leaf on a shirt, socks, hat, or even skin.

Last week, there was a crazy hail/thunderstorm in San Antonio. No big deal, right? Those things happen all the time. But when one University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) college student realized they were caught in a dorm without a rain jacket, they thought it’d be a good idea to use an aluminum pan to protect him from the hail.

The problem is that Aluminum Pan Man forgot that the lightning was the real threat. It’s believed that this is the last known footage of him.

Anthony Cantu, an Ole Miss student, was attending a party at FoxFire Ranch last weekend when he was tackled and tased by an off-duty Sheriff’s Deputy. We’ll get to the details in a second, but moments like this are exactly why it’s a good idea to film the police.

Here’s a little backstory from TFM:

This past Saturday, an Ole Miss student was brutally taken down by what is undoubtedly the bravest and toughest cop in the world around the end of a field party at Foxfire Ranch in Mississippi. The party was attended by over a thousand people, many of whom were Ole Miss students.

As some of the students were walking off the property, Anthony Cantu allegedly headbutted a private security officer and broke his nose.

Obviously we weren’t there, but watching the video it doesn’t look like Anthony was the main antagonist in any of this. In fact, he’s so short that I doubt a headbutt from him could break anyone’s nose. Then again, he was able to stand up after one of the big and bad Sheriff’s Deputies threw a good fifteen punches at his head.

Last year, we launched Miss COED 2016 and it was so much fun, we thought we’d do it again.

We set out to find the hottest, smartest, all-around most awesome college girl in the country, and we think we found a darn good one. Kendall Fuhrman is currently a sophomore at the University of Southern California and is an international relations and global business major with an emphasis in marketing and a minor in French. 🤓  Yikes, that’s a mouthful! (We did say smartest, after all). She’s also a sister in Pi Beta Phi and is a self-proclaimed “adrenaline junkie.” Oh, and she studied abroad in Paris for a year…and speaks French fluently…and is flawless looking.

20-year-old Anthony Cantu claims that he was just leaving the annual Ole Miss Phi Delt “Ivy League” party when he suddenly was tackled, tased, and beaten by an off-duty police officer. Whether or not Anthony’s story, or the story of a security guard who claims that Anthony headbutted him and broke his nose, is true we don’t know.

What we do know is that there’s a video of Anthony’s arrest (by an off-duty Sheriff’s Deputy working security) and it looks absolutely brutal. How Anthony manages to stand up after that kind of attack is beyond us.

A shooting at Washington University in St. Louis on Wednesday afternoon left one victim hospitalized. As the suspect has yet to be caught, the story is still updating but we’ve pulled the important updates for you here.

What Happened?

Update–4/21/2016: According to the victim of the shooting, an employee of Cafe Bon Appetit at Washington University School of Medicine, she believes the shooting was an act of road rage. The victim was shot in the forearm. The shooter, a male, pulled a U-Turn and then continued onto Skinker Blvd.

At around 1:30 PM, Wash University sent an emergency message and tweet informing students that an armed suspect had been spotted on campus and that they should shelter in place.

Shortly thereafter, Washington University alerted the campus that someone had been shot. The suspect was then seen fleeing in a black SUV.

The Clayton Police Department arrived at the scene, secured it, and began investigating the crime. Only after Clayton PD had secured the scene did Wash U issue an “all clear.

Where Was The Shooting?

The shooting occured on Washington University’s Danforth Campus, near Mallinckrodt Center on Forsyth Street. You can see a map of the surrounding area above.

Chyna, a WWE legend and entertainer whose real name was Joanie Laurer, was pronounced dead last night. She was 45-years-old.

According to TMZ, authorities got a call around 7:30 PM after a friend went to check on the former wrestling star. She had not been seen or heard from in days. The friend found her unresponsive in her Redondo Beach, California apartment then promptly called the police.

Investigators are currently looking into the death as a possible overdose due to her history with drug abuse. She struggled with addiction for years and even appeared on Celebrity Rehab back in 2008 to try and get sober. Sources told TMZ that prescription bottles were found in her home, but illegal drugs were not confirmed.

A statement was posted on Chyna’s official Twitter account confirming her sudden death:
