Drake is no longer tight-lipped about the release date of his new album, Views from the 6.

October’s Very Own announced that his new record would release on April 29th, 2016. The release date wasn’t announced in a press release, on the radio, or in an interview–it happened in an album trailer. As far as I can recall, this is the first time I’ve ever seen an album trailer.

Is the trailer a little cheesy? Most definitely, but this is just the latest example of Drake doing things people don’t expect or haven’t seen before.

Tragedy struck the NFL this weekend when New Orleans Saints’ defensive end Will Smith was murdered following a fender bender. Cardell Hayes, a 28-year-old former prep star in Louisiana, was charged with second-degree murder after shooting Smith and his wife, Raquel (who was injured and taken to the hospital).

Details on the murder are still surfacing, but Tyrann Mathieu, who is from New Orleans and played for the LSU Tigers, claims he knew Hayes. The two athletes presumably crossed paths during their early football careers.

He went on a Twitter tirade shortly after news broke:

Smith, who was only 34, leaves behind three children and his wife Raquel.

Although the investigation is still ongoing, authorities reported to the scene of a pedestrian hit by a train at the railroad crossing of 200 North College Street. Dakota was found lying between the train tracks. The police have ruled the scene as an accident.

The Lee County Coroner’s office confirmed Dakota’s identity on Sunday night.

Let it be known: selfies kill. It was recently reported that selfies cause more deaths each year than a sh*t ton of other things, and while vain stupidity may be to blame, the numbers still hit us where it hurts.

Luckily Kelly Murphy wasn’t another statistic, but according to her recent selfie video, she cut it pretty damn close. During a snowboarding session in Japan’s Hakuba 47 Winter Sports Park near the city of Nagano, Murphy filmed her sweet skills only to find out that an Asian black bear was on her tail the entire time.

“OMG! I was going through my snowboarding videos and I found a bear chasing me!!!” she wrote on YouTube after uploading the video Sunday. “I nearly got eaten!!! … Be careful people!!!”

Yes, don’t selfie and not know what the f*ck is happening around you. Words to live by.

The Lee County Coroner’s office confirmed today that Dakota Raymond Parker, a 19-year-old freshman at Auburn University, was hit and killed by a train on early Saturday morning.

The Lee County Coroner’s Office Sunday night identified the student as 19-year-old Dakota Raymond Parker. He was from Decatur, and had graduated from Priceville High School where he played football.

Auburn police, firefighters and EMS workers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a train just after midnight. Coroner Bill Harris said the accident happened near the railroad crossing in the 200 block of North College Street [source].

Schools have gotten really uptight with their teachers lately. The latest to fall victim to their restrictions is Miss Clarissa, a primary school teacher from Mexico who just wanted to win a twerking contest while on spring break. The good news is she did, and the $260 that came along with the prestigious title. The bad news is she lost her teaching job over it.

WTF SOCIETY?!

The woman — who is formally known as Miss Clarissa by people of the Internet — was staying at a popular resort in Cabo San Lucas 400 miles away from her school in Ciudad Obregon when she entered a twerking contest. Sadly not even being that far away could stop angry parents from getting their hands on the “salacious” video.

“I knew there were mobile phones, but I never imagined this would go viral and anyway — I’m not doing anything bad,” Miss Clarissa told Mexican newspaper Reforma. “It was a dance competition, something like this doesn’t define me as a person. It was my free time, and we’re in the 21st century. It’s not something to be afraid of, I’m not naked, I’m not having sex or taking drugs or disrespecting anyone.”

It’s true, she was doing none of those things.

That’s it? That’s the offensive video? She was just having a good time! Trying to make some extra pocket money since that damn school doesn’t pay her enough! What’s the issue here?!

Apparently to parents, there was a big one.

“Parents of children at Cumbres Institute deny demanding her resignation. We are angry at the way she was sacked, using a sexist pretext when she was doing what everyone does on holiday which is dance in a bikini,” read the petition. “The children she taught adored Miss Clarissa and were very sad when they found out she wouldn’t be taking class anymore.”

Wow, ok. If she was twerking in front of her students, then I could see reason to be up in arms. But are you really going to punish a woman for dancing on her spare time?! The world is a cruel, cruel place.

Pavlov’s of Columbia is one of the best college bars for University of South Carolina students to booze at. It’s cheap, was ranked as one of the 2013’s 25 Best College Bars in America, and has a ton of great drink specials. One thing that isn’t talked about, though, is their bathroom.

At first look, it seems as though Pavlov’s men’s room is strictly business: it’s got a urine trough, a pooper, and sinks. But one enterprising and drunk USC student also discovered that the urine trough doubles as a comfortable bed.

The second trailer for Game of Thrones Season 6 just dropped, and holy moly did I forget how much I loved this show. Apparently I also forgot how to use cuss words, but that’s another story for another time. IT’S TIME TO TALK ABOUT THRONES.

First off, I can’t tell you how excited I am to see the Walkers finally take on “the living,” but since this is Game of Thrones I’m not going to expect anything except for a lead-in to next season regarding that war. It just doesn’t seem like HBO will give us that epic battle just yet. I’m expecting to have to wait one more year.

One thing we won’t have to wait for, though, are the dragons who are finally going to return to killing a bunch of people.

With every political article I read, I find myself with only one remaining thought: damn, I can’t wait for this election to be f*cking over.

But alas, we have a few good months left, and with them will come an overwhelming amount of irritating supporters and (worse) douchey haters. Unfortunately we have no control over any of it. The only thing we can do is sit back, relax, and laugh at all of them.

Aside from Donald Trump, an easy target for mass media and the majority of voters who want to spend their time trashing someone, Bernie Sanders has come under fire for the sole reason that he just wants “free stuff.” The Vermont senator has openly declared himself a socialist, and aims to rid America of monetary hardships like college tuition and healthcare. While Sanders has struck a cord with Bernie Bros — along with Courtney Stodden and this topless protester — he has yet to convince hardcore republicans, who insist the politician’s platforms piggyback on the hard work of other people.

While it was originally posted two months ago, it’s making the rounds once again and commenters are having a damn good time with it. Because, obviously.

Regardless of our political beliefs, it is pretty hilarious. Especially because there’s definitely some guy out there who really believes this speaks for the entirety of Sanders’ campaign.

So once again — can this election cycle just be over? I’m tired.

Not only did Marvel’s Daredevil up the action in it’s second season, it upped it’s sexy in a BIG way with the introduction of Matt Murdock’s girlfriend, Elektra Nachios.

Played to a tee by Elodie Yung, Elektra is one of the most badass female characters in the Marvel Universe. Not only does she whoop ass, but she looks damn fine doing it. Yung has been practicing karate for over 20 years, making her the perfect fit for Elektra.

Yung, born February 22, 1981, is  French actress who  graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and also has a master’s degree in law from the University of Paris. Yung made her big screen debut in 2011’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and G.I. Joe: Retaliation. Luckily for us, she really caught fire last year, starring in Gods of Egypt alongside Gerard Butler, and in Daredevil. The superhero world is getting quite good looking, if you haven’t noticed. First Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Krysten Ritter, and now Yung, there’s a whole new reason to watch comic book movies other than the action.

Baton Rouge Police have arrested Ernest Bernard Felton and one other man involved in a shooting at Southern University that resulted in the death of two innocent bystanders and the injury of one of the shooters involved.

Ernest Bernard Felton, the 22-year-old man pictured above, was arrested and booked late Sunday night for second-degree attempted murder and the illegal use of a firearm. His bond has been set at $90,000.

Police believe that Felton, who played defensive end at Southern University for one year, got into a verbal altercation with Brandon Henderson that soon turned violent. The two men exchanged gunfire outside The Cottages on Ben Hur Drive, killing Annette January (19-years-old of Gary, Indiana) and sophomore Lashuntae Benton (19-years-old of Lake Charles, LA). Both women were student-athletes at Southern University. January was a track-and-field athlete and Benton was a student athletic trainer.

Ernest is from Coral Gables, Florida. The police are waiting for forensics to determine who was the shooter between Ernest and Brandon.

You may remember that little video from a few weeks back where Nick Young, LA Laker and fiancé to Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea, admitted to cheating on his girl to fellow teammate D’Angelo Russell, who was secretly recording their entire exchange. Yes, it was weird as f*ck (why were you doing that D’Angelo?!), but what’s even weirder is that people are speculating whether or not Young actually cheated.

Spoiler alert: he did. The dude had no idea he was being videotaped… why would he lie about his conquests to someone he thought he could trust? It makes zero sense.

Anyway, the controversy has come and gone, and Iggy is speaking out about it yet again. Or more like, she’s threatening her fiancé with torture techniques if similar videos poke their way to the surface once again.

You heard it here ladies and gentlemen — if Nick Young cheats or there are rumors he cheated, Iggy Azalea will chop off “a quarter of [his] meat.” Aren’t you glad that’s not you?

January 31, 2010: Kobe Hits a Game Winner Against The Celtics, Who They Would Later Beat In The Finals

With 7.3 ticks left on the clock, Kobe drilled a game winner over Ray Allen and the defending champion Celtics. The Lakers would later go on to win the NBA Finals against Allen, Pierce, and Garnett’s Celtics.

December 4, 2009: Bryant For Three Over D-Wade

One of the more ridiculous, and memorable, game winners Kobe has ever hit, he essentially just flung this one up there, and in traditional Kobe fashion, drilled it. Right over Dwayne Wade, no less.

After Iggy Azalea’s castration threats yesterday, you’d think Nick Young would have learned his lesson. But unfortunately for him, his past doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon. After that infamous D’Angelo Russell video went viral, his alleged side chick Britt is stepping forward with more proof that what he was saying on that video is 100% legit.

According to The Shade Room,

“So a Memphis woman who goes by Britt @ItsBrittBiotch is calling Mr. Young out on his b.s.!! She says that they have been seeing each other for a couple of years now and that the video footage that she sent in was taken back in February when he was in town to play against the Grizzlies! Yes we double checked he had a game against Grizzlies at the FedEx Forum in Memphis on February 26th!!”

And then of course, there’s more video, because the man can’t seem to stay away from damn phones.

His only comment on the situation is the below tweet, which has now been deleted.

Royce 5’9″ has released his new solo album Layers for streaming a couple days earlier than expected. Those unfamiliar with the rapper formerly known as Royce da 5’9″ might be interested to know that Royce and Eminem used to run together back in the late 90’s.

Even though that was almost twenty years ago, Royce has remained a steady and respected rapper. You don’t get features from guys like Pusha T or Rick Ross on your solo album without the admiration of the industry.

What if I told you that the Olsen Twins (yes, them) had a younger, taller, hotter sister? Your head would basically explode, right? And THEN what if I told you that younger, taller, hotter sister was an Avenger? Yupp, turns out that chick who plays Scarlet Witch is one of the Olsen’s, who knew. Then, what if I told you that this younger, hotter, taller Olsen, whose name is Elizabeth by the way, has taken it off in about 20% of the movies she’s been in? Sensory overload, I know.

Elizabeth Olsen, the younger , taller, hotter, sister of Mary Kate and Ashley, has come on hot the last couple of years, literally. Like I said earlier, she has no problem with being, uh, liberal with her clothes.

She has starred in films such as Silent House (2011), Liberal Arts (2012),  Oldboy (2013) ,Godzilla (2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), and I Saw The Light (2016). For her role in the critically acclaimed Martha Marcy May Marlene (2011), she was nominated for numerous awards including the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Most importantly, she will be reprising her role as Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War. The younger, taller, hotter Olsen is essentially a comic book nerd’s dream.

Jacob, a student at Ohio University, woke up from a Palmer Fest bender to a scary scene that I’m sure many of you are familiar with: zero clothing, laid out on the floor, and in a large puddle of your own blood.

But rather than call the waaaahmbulance, Jacob handled things like Ron Swanson and now has a pretty epic story that was told to the guys at NowThatsCollege:

My last memory of Friday night was being at the CI celebrating moms weekend with tequila.. my mom was not in attendance, so I was taken in by other moms who were very generous with their tequila shots.

8:30am: I wake up and am nearly naked on my carpet floor. I sat up confused only to discover that my head was covered in dried blood. Direct quote “what the f**k?” Blood covered my shirt and had bled through my carpet leaving a blood stain on the tile floor. Not knowing what to do, I ran to a friend of mine’s room where she suggested I shower, then we get some bagels before doing anything further.  After showing, it was revealed that I had a 1.5 inch opening on my head. After my friend and I enjoyed our bagel street we were picked up by another friend and taken to O’Blenness Hospital where I waited for 3 hours for 7 stitches.

BEFORE STITCHES

At the hospital, I was informed I would have to return in 5 days to remove the stitches. Agreeing with the nurse, I knew I would be shelling out more money that I would rather spend on more tequila shots! So I decided to take the stitches out myself! Another good friend of mine and I watched multiple YouTube tutorials on taking stitches out. Her handy work was painless, and only took about 10 minutes. Pretty impressive for not being a nursing major!

Since taking them out, the cut seems to be healing pretty nicely. Definitely a story I will never forget (at least what I remember from that night). To this day I am not exactly sure what I hit my head on, or what time it happened. But, like they say, “Athens Happens”.

That same night, I made my return to the bars to celebrate my survival with, of course, tequila.

AFTER STITCHES

We applaud Jacob for his thriftiness and manliness, but there are only one thing that I would have done differently here: YouTube the removal of the stitches. Make that thing go full-circle! Yeah it’s cool to tell the story but that stitch removal could be used as a learning tool for other broke college students in a similar boat.

Abigail Ratchford’s In-N-Out video is literally the hottest thing we have ever seen in our lives. Unfortunately not everyone thinks so, like In-N-Out. Bummer.

According to TMZ, the burger chain really wants the provocative ad to be taken down, and if it isn’t immediately (PLEASE DON’T TAKE IT DOWN), In-N-Out says it will likely serve up a lawsuit.

In-N-Out lawyers fired off a letter sent to the model’s producer, Liverichmedia … saying they’ve been flooded with complaints over a video posted last month showing Abby in “various sexually suggestive acts with In-N-Out Burger food.”

Ouch. WTF In-N-Out? You should feel so lucky that someone as hot as Abigail Ratchford is eating your food, let alone promoting it! Hopefully Carl’s Jr. snaps her up for a future promo instead — at least they can appreciate a hot women chowing down on some fries!
