Andre Rudolph Barbins, the former swim coach of St. Mary’s College of Maryland, was arrested and fired from his job last Friday for exchanging inappropriate photos with a child he met on the web. Barbins has been replaced by an assistant coach.

Maryland State Police Cpl. DaVaughn Parker said that the minor Andre had communicated with was someone he had met online and was not someone he was coaching. According to police, the girl’s parents discovered the messages and alerted the authorities.

The Baltimore Sun reports that authorities then served a warrant at his home on Friday and discovered a hard drive containing those images.

Barbins has coached the St. Mary’s College Seahawks men’s and women’s teams since the 1998-89 season and was named Capital Athletic Conference Coach of the Year four times. He is married and has two daughters.

Lex McAllister, a contestant on the season 14 of The Bachelor, was pronounced dead yesterday from an apparent suicide attempt. She was 31.

According TMZ, a 911 call was placed on Saturday afternoon around 2 p.m., with the caller saying that she had received a text from Lex earlier that day about her wanting to end her life. When the caller went to check on her, it looked like Lex had taken prescription pills in abundance.

She was then taken to a hospital in stable condition, but her body started to shut down. Her family decided to take her off life support and she died Tuesday morning. According to one of Lex’s family members, she struggled with depression and bipolar disorder.

The bubbly blonde was vying for Jake Pavelka’s heart during season 14, but was unfortunately eliminated early on in the show. However, she grabbed the public’s attention once again after Pavelka and Vienna Girardi – the eventual winner – broke up. McAllister publicly sided with Girardi, saying “I find it hard to believe that she is guilty of anything negative in the breakup … except for falling in love with a man whose heart was clearly not available for her in the first place.”

Gia Allemand, one of Lex’s fellow contestants, committed suicide in 2013 by hanging.

The world of soccer is mostly dominated by players outside of the United States. The biggest star in the world right now is Lionel Messi. The Argentina star is on the verge of becoming the greatest player in soccer history. His contract with Barcelona is one of the biggest in all of sports.

Here is a look at Messi’s net worth and how he got there.

Lionel Messi Net Worth as of 2016: $220 million

After many years playing at the junior level, Messi finally makes it to the first team for Barcelona at just 16 years old. While he was young, Messi proved early on that he was going to be a star from the first day he stepped on the pitch. Others in the game knew from an early age that he was going to be one of the special players.

Messi signs his first contract as a senior team player which would make him a Barcelona player through 2010 including a buyout clause of 150 million euros. This contract would make it hard for any team to sign him anyway but Inter Milan tried anyway which forced Barcelona to get Messi a new contract through 2014 and another raise.

Messi signs another new contract worth 7.8 million euros and becomes the club’s highest-paid player in the process. At just 22 years old, Messi continued his assault on the top player in all of professional soccer. While the contract doesn’t look the biggest, it is still a massive amount from the soccer perspective.

As his contract came up again in 2014, Messi would become the highest-paid player in the sport’s history with a salary of 20 million euros or 36 million before taxes were taken out. It was a huge total that still is tops in the whole sport.

2015

Messi makes $73.8 million in 2015 according to Forbes with $51,800,000 coming from salary and winnings while $22 million more came from sponsorship deal which include Adidas, Pepsi, Dolce & Gabbana and AirEuropa.

While Messi is still low on the net worth list in regards to some other athletes, he is going to continue making tens of millions of dollars each year he remains on the field and even after he does retire at some point. It wouldn’t surprise anyone if Messi is worth nearly $1 billion sooner than later.

Someone Set Up a GoFundMe For Kanye West & The Comments are Gold

Kanye West GoFundMe

GoFundMe

If you’ve skimmed through Twitter in the last 72 hours, you’d know a few things: 1. The Grammy’s were on and no one really cared, 2. Those irritating hashtag games are still in full swing, and 3. Kanye West is apparently broke and needs the Internet taken away from him.

After claiming he was $53 million in debt, then kind of taking it back, then still begging for Mark Zuckerberg to invest in his “brilliant” ideas, someone made a GoFundMe account for the rapper to make it happen. Because, come on, the man is a self-proclaimed genius. How could you not trust that, right?

Kanye West Broke

Looks pretty legit… and like it’s going to take about a millennium to raise that amount of money. But with this convincing explanation for the page’s creation, maybe not.

Kanye West, prolific entertainer/fashion icon/celebrity/member of the Kardashian family needs our help!

Recently, Kanye let us in on his personal struggle. He is 53 million dollars in debt and it doesn’t look like he’s going to get Mark Zuckerberg’s help that he desperately needs. We must open our hearts and wallets for Kanye today. Sure he is personally rich and  can buy furs and houses for his family, but without our help, the true genius of Kanye West can’t be realized.

As Kanye West has told us time and time again he is the “greatest living artist and greatest artist of all time”. Great artists need to be supported financially to achieve their full potential.

To quote Mr. West, “I am Warhol. I am the number one most impactful artist of our generation. I am Shakespeare in the flesh. Walt Disney. Nike. Google. Now who’s gonna be the Medici family and stand up and let me create more!”

Just kidding, I totally take that back – that was awful. He later updated the page with this clarification: “I’d like to update everyone and let you know that I don’t want a penny from this. I would like everything to go to Kanye. Since he is such a high profile public figure, I would prefer to have GoFundMe transfer all funds to his people directly.”

Based on the comments, good luck with any of that happening. Here’s a taste:

home boy you need to have your wife do another sex tape… – sell it for $5.00 and you will be out of debt in no time… BTW you are not her partner in the tape.. maybe a football player or basket ball player.. not someone who sings about “Jesus Walking”

Please….How about you suck the implant out of your wifes ass and auction it off…..What an Idiot

I would rather take up a collection to never have to see or hear from this pos EVER again.

He can eat a big bag of d*cks, I’m not giving him sh*t.

Maybe you can sell your testicles? Not like you should reproduce anyways.

I would rather pepper spray my own d*ckhole than give him a penny.

First, give me back my $7.99 for that hunk of shit Yeesus album!

Kanye is like a stinky turd that just wont flush no matter how many times you crank that flusher. hes like that log that just sits across the whole in the bottom and wont go down with the water but you dont want to touch it so you just keep flushing. it smells so bad that everyone else in the house can smell it and you start to panic because its a holiday and the whole family is over so you try to find a plunger but there is none in that bathroom. Kanyes stink is so bad its going to give you post traumatic stress and require years of therapy because it just wont go away and its stench brings tears to your eyes and makes it difficult to breathe. Kenye is the turd that you cant escape. sorry Kanye im not giving you my money so that you can continue to ruin everyones family holidays. i hope someday you finally get flushed.

Ill give you dollar to just shut the fuck up and go away.

Agreed on all counts.

Despite the hate, the page managed to collect over $600. Luckily, that’s nowhere near $5.3 million. Sorry Kanye. At least there’s still hope for Zuckerberg! He has yet to publicly humiliate you on Twitter, so maybe he’ll open up his checkbook instead?

Remember the day your mom signed up for Facebook? She immediately friend requested you and several of your friends, put up a choppy status because she doesn’t really know how to use her iPhone, and labeled her profession as “Brian’s mom <3.” It was a horrifying day that you won’t be able to live down anytime soon.

With that being said, imagine being this girl.

Robyn Millen from the UK was pretty f*cking mortified when her dad tried snapping a hot bath n00d to her mom and instead added it to his Snapchat story for all the world to see.

This is exactly why parents shouldn’t be allowed on social media.

Here’s the photo:

I don’t know about you, but I’m more concerned with the fact that he’s lounging in a bathtub. Do guys do that? Also, that dark, hairy abyss between his legs is absolutely terrifying – and not in a good way.

Naturally Robyn caught wind of the photo pretty quickly:

We’re glad someone thinks this is funny.

Can’t someone just make a tutorial for old people, on how social media works? I can’t take the stress.

WATCH: UCF Students Give Bus Driver Cash For Being Awesome

UCF Bus Driver Maurice Video

Students at the University of Central Florida know Maurice the shuttle driver all too well. He’s the friendly face who picks them up and drops them off around campus, the dude who always wears a smile.

Every college and university employs these kinds of outstanding individuals, the difference is that at UCF a bunch of students pooled their money together to show their appreciation for Maurice. Take a look at the recording and reaction to that gift below.

Truthfully, it’s got to be at least a little uncomfortable for everyone involved in this clip, no? Maurice the awesome guy who has to somehow be even more awesome on camera when he learns that he’s $450 richer. The guy giving it to Maurice. The people on the bus. It’s a great show of appreciation, sure but you can’t tell me it’s not a little uncomfortable.

That being said, a guy like Maurice needs all the money he can get. Not because he looks poor or desperate, but because hair like this has got to be expensive to maintain in the Florida heat.

Maurice UCF Video

Check out the comment from someone on reddit who has a little more info on Maurice.

I ride the shuttle every day/ contributed to the funds.

Maurice is a breath of fresh air and daily dose of sunshine to the other bus drivers’ depressing reminder that life is futile and death is imminent.

Edit: also some context about who this guy is. He makes over 20 trips a day and makes a point to say hi and what’s up to literally every last person who walk on and off the bus. He grew up with a musical background in Detroit and goes by the name Kingmojo Mojoking. He plays groovy tunes and has a true appreciation for life. He’s a true inspiration and is an uplifting presence to everyone around him.

Kingmojo Mojoking. Baller status confirmed.

Wabash College

Indiana’s Wabash College is currently on lockdown after a horrific double homicide happened in Zionsville. The suspect is a college employee Lucius Oliver Hamilton III.

What Happened?

According to FOX59, Katherine Janet Giehll, 31, and her son Raymond Giehll, 4, were killed earlier today and Katherine’s uncle, Lucius Oliver Hamilton III, is responsible. The two were shot dead in their home.

The 61-year-old was last seen driving a white 2013 Dodge van with Indiana Wabash license plate WA25. He checked out the van from Wabash College at about 9:30 a.m. and is considered armed and dangerous. All classes have been cancelled for the day.

Update–3:49 PM EST: Shots were fired at Indianapolis police officers who approached a hotel room in the hunt for Lucius Hamilton III.

The incident was at a Hilton, but officers did not state which one. Indiana State Police SWAT officers were outside the hotel room when shots were fired.

Who is Lucius Hamilton?

Hamilton is a current employee at Wabash College where he has served as an Alumni Career Officer and a Major Gifts Officer.

Here’s a more thorough press release:

“In my 32 years of law enforcement I have never witnessed a crime so heinous and heartbreaking.” Chris Burcham of the Boon County Sheriff’s Department said in statement. “Lucius Hamilton….I will not stop until we find you. I would suggest that if you hear this, or see this, that you turn yourself in to law enforcement immediately.”

The campus is currently under investigation, but Boone County Sheriff Mike Nielsen says they don’t believe Hamilton is in the area. Police advise the college’s students, faculty, and staff to remain indoors and cautious.

Kevin McReynolds Interview Highlyfe Entertainment

If you pictured what a dominant D1 defensive tackle looked like, you’d probably think of someone like Kevin McReynolds–a 6’2″, 300-pound beast who can push a sled with the best of them. And if I asked you to imagine what a man like that does in his spare time, what would you guess? That he works out? Hangs with his friends? Works a part-time job?

Those would all be safe bets, but the truth is something much more impressive. Kevin owns a successful event management and travel company called Highlyfe Entertainment and Highlyfe Xperience. Kevin is one of many American student-athletes who are using their opportunities as a starting point to become entrepreneurs. The only downside to the kind of effort Kevin puts in is that it makes everyone else look lazy in comparison.

A normal day for Kevin, who just finished up his final year of eligibility at Nevada after transferring from UCLA and is now pursuing his MBA, involves an earlier-than-you’d-like-to-imagine workout, class, more class, team meetings, practices, and then homework. And in between all of that, he’s got to find the time to talk to promoters, rappers, venues, and the rest of his team to make sure that everything goes smoothly.

To be completely upfront and honest with you, we’ve worked with Kevin and Highlyfe on a couple of projects and have a few more great things coming. He was the one who put this party and video together.

That being said, we thought you all might enjoy reading about an up-and-coming businessman who embodies the college hustle: taking advantage of all the opportunities you’re given, rolling with life’s punches, and worrying about sleep when you’re done. We sat on the phone with Kevin to talk about where he’s at with the business, how he got there, and some advice he has for those of you looking to do more than just hit the books.

1385745_10204439159954680_6512091225554846957_n

COED: What was your first job?

Kevin: My first job—outside of working football campus for my high school—was working for a company called Extreme Greeks. That was when I got to college. I started with doing security for them, moved up to manager and then went up from there. Extreme Greeks was a great experience for me. That’s where I learned about the structure of Greek Life, parties, and how other things of that nature worked. I definitely thank the owner, Dan Wilson, for everything he’s taught me.

COED: And then Highlyfe Entertainment? How did that come about?

I started Highlife Entertainment my sophomore year. I was one of those kids who was football, football, football, all the time. But then I got hurt, got a couple of concussions and couldn’t play the rest of that season. I picked up little jobs any time I could, things like security, but then I kind of realized something. I thought to myself “Hey, I’m different. Hey, I’m better than this.” That’s when I knew I wanted to start something on my own.

So I started Highlife Entertainment. From there, I met a lot of great people–especially in the music and entertainment industry. When I did that, I took lessons from Extreme Greeks. I saw the structure of the company and what things didn’t work and what things did work. What stuck out to me was how you treat people. That’s a big thing, it’s part of business that I’ve learned: treat people how you want them to treat you.

COED: How do you manage your time?

It’s all about putting good people around you. From the beginning, I’ve had good people around me and doing the things that I’ve wanted to do. It’s all about setting a calendar and saying, “Hey, I have a lot.” For me, football was the biggest thing. It paid for my education. So I had to set up calendar and say “I have to set time for my football.” I have a specific schedule and I use Google Calendars, reminding me every step of the way. That’s where I put all my academic things, how long it will take me to do homework, meet with tutors, etc.

From there, I schedule everything else in between.

As far as time management is concerned, the key is knowing where you have to be. There’s not a lot of free time, but I figured that if I was busy it would take my mind off of what I had going on.

Kevin will admit that originally Highlyfe was more of a hobby than an actual business that required all of his free time. But as the season progressed, he realized that not only did he enjoy what he was doing, he had a promising business in front of him. Like every young entrepreneur just starting out, Kevin had to buckle down and figure out what was important to the business.

“Don’t burn bridges.”

COED: Walk me through the evolution of Highlyfe Entertainment into Highlyfe Xperience.

Kevin: When I started Highlyfe, we were all over the place. That’s not a way you want to run a company. You want to focus on things. You know, every opportunity that came at me, I wanted to jump at it. I think it took until midway through my junior year when I finally sat down and admitted that I really needed to think about what matters. What’s going to be profitable? What’s going to be sustainable? I have to thank my mentor, Gregg Colvin, for that. Making me realize I should focus on on the things that are going to be sustainable and scalable.

When I did that, I kind of went back to the drawing board. I realized some of these things, like only working with Greek life, aren’t going to sustain you longterm because there’s so much turnover. But if you can do something that’s different, that sticks, in a niche market, it’ll take you longterm.

After going back to the drawing board, Kevin eventually realized that his experience in event management; numerous artist contacts from his time in Los Angeles; and close proximity to Las Vegas, a desirable destination among college students and adults alike, were the keys to the future of HighLyfe. Along with his partners Jon Klein and Joe Scott, he had his vision.

As part of HighLyfe Experience, Kevin helps set up parties and deals that cater to what college students want: wild atmospheres, pool parties and concerts at a reasonable price.

“I think that, no matter where you go in life, someone can always teach you something, no matter what level.”

Kevin McReynolds Highlyfe

COED: What are some of the things you enjoy about your job?

I enjoy going to different cities. I love seeing friends all over. When I was playing football I didn’t have the time and the free time to just go and travel and do what I do. Now, I’m in a different city every weekend. Any time you can make money and enjoy yourself, doing what you love, that’s the key.

There are so many companies out there that look solely at the money. That’s all that matters to them. But I enjoy bringing concerts and doing those things for colleges because that’s what they enjoy and I enjoy doing it too. Hopefully, I never turn into a money-hungry person… You have to enjoy what you do and understand that money’s going to come.

COED: Is this a project you’re taking as far as college and then moving on to something else?

I’d love for the company to make $100 million a year and do it full-time, but if the company didn’t do that, I think that I would take my degree and go to another company to learn. My parents have instilled in me that you’re never too young to learn.

I would love to go and maybe work in the front office of an NFL franchise. Or go to a Fortune 500 company and learn from them. That’s the only way I can raise the bar for myself and my company.

I can always hire more people to help run my company; I’m not naive to understand I can’t do it all by myself. I have a girl that works with me, Milan Zoe, who coordinates all sorts of things for me when I’m unavailable. She basically helps run all my artist booking and everything like that. During football season, while we were booking artists and doing concerts and stuff like that, I couldn’t travel everywhere. I let Milan hire people and fly around to do those things for me. I trust her to make sure everything runs smoothly. I thank her a lot for doing that.

COED: How have college sports influenced your ability to be an entrepreneur?

Football is a sport where you’re going to learn something new everyday. It’s a game that teaches lessons across all lines. I think that’s what a lot of people don’t realize. Any type of situation, be it waking up early, being accountable to others–those are the type of things football teaches.

Football is something that’s also a huge network. In football, most of the time, you’re going meet guys all over the place who will eventually do something great. There are a lot of companies that hire college athletes because they can juggle multiple things at one time. When you play at this level, you learn how to deal with people and situations. You learn to prioritize. You learn to wake up early. You may not want to do it, but you have to and you understand that commitment because you’ll let your teammates down.

I really was kind of selfish growing up, but an important lesson I kind of learned. Coach Mora had this thing where, it was, the first time you mess up you’re punishing yourself. The second time you mess up, you’re punishing you and your position group. The third time you mess up, you’re punishing your whole side of the ball. It makes you think, ‘Hey, I have to be able to look out for other people besides myself. I have to be able to help and take the younger guys and help them and pull them along too.’ I mean, those were lessons that football taught me. It’s not all about yourself. That’s the ultimate thing: there’s a goal bigger than you.

COED: What’s some other advice that you’ve learned that you would suggest to upcoming businessmen and women?

Don’t burn bridges. Realize that every person you encounter can teach you something.

Just because you make money does not make you entitled. There is always room for personal growth and improvement. Even though you’re successful, you can still find ways to better yourself. I think that, no matter where you go in life, someone can always teach you something–no matter what level.

Oftentimes people look the other direction when they are uncomfortable. I had a coach—Coach Jim Mora—who always taught me to be uncomfortable. You’re never going to get better, you’re never going to learn unless you’re okay with being uncomfortable.

Lucius Lu Hamilton III Wabash

Lucius “Lu” Oliver Hamilton III, an employee at Wabash College in Indiana, is believed to be behind the double-homicide of Katherine Janet Giehll (31) and her four-year-old son Raymond Giehll. Both bodies were found shot inside their home in Zionsville, Indiana. After the bodies were discovered by the authorities, Wabash College was placed on lockdown as police began the manhunt.

Chris Burcham of the Boon County Sheriff’s Department, who reported to the murder scene, described the crime as the most “heinous” and “heartbreaking” thing he had witnessed. “Lucius Hamilton….I will not stop until we find you. I would suggest that if you hear this, or see this, that you turn yourself in to law enforcement immediately,” Officer Burcham continued.

Lucius checked out a Wabash van from the school around 9:30 AM–a time police believe followed his grisly double-homicide.

The lockdown at Wabash was finally lifted around 2:30 PM EST but the story was far from over. Around 3:45 PM, Indianapolis Police reported they had come under fire during their search for Lucius as they approached a Hilton hotel.

We now know where Lucius went with that van.

According to the police statement above, Lucius called police and informed them where he was. When police arrived at his hotel room door and knocked, he fired a couple of shots into the door. He then barricaded himself inside and then killed himself.

“Through many investigative techniques, we were able track Hamilton down to a specific location in downtown Indianapolis where he cowardly took his life instead of choosing to face justice for his actions,” Sheriff Michael Nielsen said. “My heart goes out to the Giehll family and to the first responders that witnessed this horrific scene.”

Who Is Lucius Hamilton III?

Lucius was an employee of Wabash College and the uncle of Katherine Giehll. There is no known motive at this time.

Lucius himself had graduated from Wabash back in 1976 and worked there as a Senior Major Gifts Officer.

It’s kind of cute to be dating someone crazy, right? At first? Like, oh! She’s sassy and has a temper, and isn’t afraid to put you in your place when you’re being a total douche bag. You like it! At first.

Crazy girls are a challenge and quick to attract. But the cuteness starts to evaporate when she starts doing really weird sh*t, like keying your car after you talk to a female customer at work or calling your mom to make sure you’re actually at her house for dinner. Before you know it, you’re filing for a restraining order and sleeping with a bat underneath your bed.

If anyone knows what we’re talking about, it’s this guy.

A photo has gone viral on Imgur today of this guy looking terrified because his hot blonde crazy girlfriend gave him this shirt:

Texas A&M Apologizes After Students Taunt Minorities During College Tour

TAMU Racial Injustice

TAMU

Texas A&M University leaders have released an official apology after a group of inner-city kids were taunted during a college tour last week. Officials are investigating reports that white Texas A&M students harassed African American and Latino high schoolers, telling them to “go back where [they] came from.”

Officials told the Dallas Morning News that the high school students reported that a white woman approached two African Americans in the group and asked them what they thought about her Confederate flag earrings. Then, other students shouted racial slurs at the high schoolers.

According to The WashingtonPost, University President Michael Young and Chancellor John Sharp met with the group of juniors at Uplift Hampton Preparatory in South Dallas to personally apologize for the racist incident and praise them for how they handled the situation.

“I wanted to tell them how deeply sorry I was, and how sorry many people were, about what happened,” Young told the Texas Tribune. “I wanted them to know that doesn’t represent the values that we really hold dear at A&M. Also, we wanted to tell them we were tremendously impressed with them and how proud of them we are in terms of how they reacted — and that they are precisely the kinds of students we’d love to see enrolling.”

He continued: “I deeply regret the pain and hurt feelings this incident caused these young students,” he said in a statement. “Be assured that we take such allegations very seriously. While the actions of a few certainly do not represent our institution as a whole,” he added, “it is the responsibility of all of us to stop any incidents that could be considered hateful or biased-based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other factor. This type of behavior goes against our A&M core values and in addition to immediate intervention.”

Student body president Joseph Benigno also condemned the behavior on social media, saying that the incident was a “sobering reminder” that the idyllic experiences at A&M “do not always align completely with reality.”

“My initial emotions of shock and disbelief have now soured into the painful realization that a very small group of students could be capable of such an ignorant and barbaric form of hate,” he wrote. In turn, he helped launch a campaign to send 10,000 letters to various high-schoolers telling them about A&M’s values.

“The true Texas A&M is a very friendly and welcoming place, and it’s loving and cares for every member of the Aggie family and we go out of our way to make sure that everyone feels welcome here,” Benigno told the student newspaper. “So I don’t want their experience at Texas A&M to be defined by that memory.

With more than 64,000 students, Texas A&M is a predominantly white school, with only 23 percent of students being reported as Hispanic, black or American Indian.

Sigma Chi UCLA House Tour

Any and every stereotype you could have about a fraternity brother at UCLA comes to life in this Sigma Chi house tour given to College Weekly. Bros on bros on bros, plus a healthy dose of dojos and polos. Ya know?

But you know what? It’s awesome and refreshing to see guys like this pull zero punches. And why should they? Their house is a little messy, but awesome; they live in Los Angeles; they have a rooftop basketball court; and honeys are chilling on couches like whattup.

As far as house tour videos go, this has got to be one of our favorites.

Yeah it’s great when you have a compound of five houses or a massive swimming pool but a fraternity house is still a fraternity house. It should have character, a little grime, and a bunch of bros just living the life.

If you’re a red-blooded American, you eat hot dogs–that’s just a fact. They’re cheap, delicious, and filling when you have about four of them. But if you’re a college student living in a dorm, you probably don’t realize that it’s completely possible for you to cook hot dogs for yourself without a grill.

As long as you’ve got a coffee maker, you’re in the green.

Truthfully, it’s always a good idea to buy pre-cooked hot dogs just to be sure about safety but the boiling water does a fantastic job of heating up the hot dogs all the way through. And as far as ketchup and mustard go, you can leave the mustard out of the fridge but ketchup should be kept refrigerated at all times.

Nets Sign Sean Marks To GM Position, The Former Spurs Assistant GM

Sean Marks has officially been named the new General Manager of the Brooklyn Nets, a move that NBA analysts were unsure would actually happen. Sean was the assistant GM to the San Antonio Spurs, a position he was promoted to in 2014, and an assistant coach to the Spurs before that.

He had previously played in the NBA for 12 years, getting drafted to the NY Knicks (who then traded him to the Raptors) back in 1998. Sean originally hails from New Zealand.

We’re not close friends with the Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov or anything, but it’s no secret that the Nets are in for a rough couple of years. They’re hoping that a man like Sean Marks who’s been involved with the most successful professional sports organization can help put them back on the right track.

As the trade deadline nearly approaches, this might actually be the most important move made this year.

WATCH: Stoner Guy Gives Reason For Why He Fled From The Cops & The Man Has a Point

Jonathan Davis is an idiot. Needless to say, he is not aware of this characteristic, but after a short interview with a news station, the rest of the world is.

The 26-year-old was just trying to get to San Antonio with a sh*t ton of weed in his car when he led police on a high-speed chase after he drove through a routine traffic stop. Davis led cops through five different Texas counties -from Rockwall to just outside of Waco – sometimes driving the wrong way, but the man was determined to get away.

Unfortunately for him, it didn’t work out that way. Davis was eventually stopped when officers shot out the tires of his exhausted Mazda, causing it to crash. Bummer.

But not for Davis, apparently, who (for reasons unknown) decided to talk about the incident with news reporters just before he was put in handcuffs.

Dude is serious. And has a valid point.

Why would you want to be pulled over if you always have weed in your car? And why would you want another offense added to your record when you can’t even get a real job as it is? The man needs work! How else is he going to get it? By fleeing from the police, of course!

Plus, a high-speed car chase is f*cking awesome! Great story for the kids one day.*

Gotta love Texas.

*Note: hopefully he never has kids one day.

LL Cool J hosted, for the fifth consecutive time, the Grammy Awards on Monday. Ever since his first hit single “I Need a Beat” at age 16, he has been one of rap’s greatest stars. Today, after 32 years in the business, LL Cool J is worth a staggering $100 million.

LL Cool J Net Worth as of 2016: $100 Million

Let’s take a look at how he got to where he is today.

LL Cool J’s parents divorced when he was four, and he was raised by his grandparents in Queens, New York.  He began rapping when he was nine. His grandfather shelled out a whopping $2000 to buy him a DJ system when he was 11. LL made tapes in his basement, and sent them out to record companies. Def Jam, a newly formed independent record company saw his potential, and took him on.  In 1984 “I Need a Beat” became Def Jam’s first release. It sold 100,000 copies, and LL dropped out of high school.

LL’s debut album, Radio, sold over 500,000 copies in its first five months. The album peaked at number 6 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, remaining on the chart for 47 weeks. Radio went on to achieve platinum status, selling over 1,500,000 copies. On top of being a commercial success, Radio was also a critical success, marking the beginning of hip-hop’s “golden age” and the replacement of old school hip hop.

1987 – 1993

LL followed it up in 1987 with Bigger and Deffer, which became the highest grossing album of his career, totaling over 3 million copies in US sales alone. It spent 11 weeks at #1 on Billboard‘s R&B albums chart.

His third album was 1989’s Walking with a Panther. The album peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200 and was LL Cool J’s second #1 R&B Album where it spent four weeks.

In 1990, LL released Mama Said Knock You Out, his fourth studio album. The Marley Marl produced album received critical acclaim and eventually went X2 Platinum selling over 2 million copies.

At this point in his career, LL began to dabble in acting. After performing in The Hard Way and Toys, LL Cool J released 14 Shots to the Dome. The album went gold.

LL starred in In the House, an NBC sitcom, before releasing Mr. Smith, which went on to sell over two million copies.

In 2000, LL Cool J released the album G.O.A.T., which stood for the “greatest of all time.” It debuted at number one on the Billboard album charts, and went platinum.

LL Cool J’s next album 10 from 2002, was his 9th studio album, and included the singles “Paradise” (featuring Amerie), “Luv U Better”, and the 2003 Jennifer Lopez duet, “All I Have”. The album reached platinum status.

LL Cool J’s 10th album The DEFinition was released on August 31, 2004. The album debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard charts.

At South by Southwest concert in 2011, LL Cool J was revealed to be Z-Trip’s special guest at the Red Bull showcase. And thus began a creative collaboration between the rap and DJ superstars.

In October 2014, he announced his upcoming 14th studio album will be called G.O.A.T. 2. “The concept behind the album was to give upcoming artists an opportunity to shine, and put myself in the position where I have to spit bars with some of the hardest rhymers in the game,” said LL.

On January 21, 2016, LL Cool J received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

LL Cool J currently has an estimated net worth of $100 million. He has 13 recorded studio albums. 8 of them were Platinum status. 3 of them were certified Gold. LL Cool J gets paid $150,000 an episode for his work on “NCIS: Los Angeles.”

His grandfather’s $2000 investment paid off big time. To say the least.

FSU’s IFC Just Waived Membership Fees For Veterans

Earlier this month, Florida State University’s Intrafraternity Council (IFC) waived their membership fees for our country’s veterans wanting to join a fraternity. It’s a move that no one was expecting but everyone is loving. From FSUNews:

Earlier this month, the FSU Interfraternity Council passed legislation to waive IFC dues to veterans in fraternities. This legislation aims to set into motion an initiative that provides student veterans with fraternity membership at no cost. This movement falls in line with the strides made across campus to make FSU the most veteran friendly university in the country.

First of all, a big shoutout to FSU’s IFC for taking this big step. American veterans should always be welcomed everywhere, especially into college and Greek Life. Second, props to TotalFratMove for bringing this story to our attention.

As of now, it’s not as though veterans can join fraternities for free–it’s just that their IFC fees are waived. But the FSU IFC is clear in saying that this is just the first step towards a welcoming atmosphere they hope to instill in every fraternity. The school already has a history of Greek Life supporting veterans.

Roxy Horner: Hottest Photos on the Internet

Roxy Horner Hot Pics
Apparently Laura Whitmore isn’t the only hot blonde that captured Leonardo DiCaprio’s attention after his BAFTA award win. Roxy Horner, a 24-year-old model who hails from Sydney, Australia, reportedly spent the night in his posh London suite.

While Horner claims the two are just friends, we find it unlikely. DiCaprio has never steered clear of any gorgeous blonde model he’s passed before, so why the exception? Unless she just isn’t into it… which could be a possibility, considering she could literally get anyone she wanted.

Horner is still an up-and-coming model but has garnered a loyal social media following, with over 50,000 Instagram followers and 8,600 followers on Twitter. If you haven’t fit that follow button, not’s your chance – both of Horner’s accounts are good for selfies, bikini photos, and just really, really good looking pictures. Spend your time wisely when wasting time on social media, for once.

If Donald Trump Becomes President, This Canadian Island Will Welcome You With Open Arms

It’s time to face the facts: Donald Trump has already come this far and his chances of winning the GOP ticket are sadly high. Much higher than most of the world would have expected, especially after watching the first season of The Apprentice.

Luckily, if worst comes to worst, there’s another option for America’s Trump haters: Cape Breton Island

The Canadian island is welcoming Americans with open arms if Trump conquers all and wins the upcoming presidential election, and we’re pretty much sold at this point.

Off the coast of Nova Scotia, the island is home to 120,000 people, but the population is declining. On their website Cape Breton if Donald Trump Wins, the opening message is rather convincing: “Hi Americans! Donald Trump may become the President of your country! If that happens, and you decide to get the hell out of there, might I suggest moving to Cape Breton Island! We need people.  We need you! This is not a joke!  See for yourself, you belong here with us on Cape Breton Island, where health care is free, you know your neighbors and they look out for you, and nobody has a hand gun.”

It continues: “Here, you can hear a number of other languages, like French and Mi’kmaq, even Gaelic!  But everybody also speaks English, just like you! Muslim people can roam freely, and the only ‘walls’ are holding up the roofs of our extremely affordable houses.” YES.

According to creator Rob Calabrese, a Canadian radio announcer, he’s already received an overwhelming amount of emails. While the government isn’t affiliated with the site, the Nova Scotia island’s tourism department has seen a huge surge in web traffic. And soon enough, population growth.

Save us a house, guys!
