The Horned Frogs continue the 31-0 halftime deficit comeback and win it in the third overtime as Oregon’s final pass goes incomplete. Bram Kohlhausen finishes 28-for-45 for 351 yards and two touchdowns. Aaron Green had 25 carries for 101 yards and a touchdown. Royce Freeman had 26 carries for 130 yards and three touchdowns for Oregon. Jeff Lockie went just 7-for-14 for 36 yards in relief of an injured Vernon Adams Jr. for the Ducks.

Third Overtime: Kohlhausen scores from eight yards out for TCU with the two-point conversion is no good to make it 47-41.

Second Overtime: Oregon starts with a 44-yard field goal by Aidan Schneider to make it 41-38. TCU can win the game with a touchdown. The Horned Frogs have to settle for a 46-yard field goal however to make it a 41-all tie, making the game into a third overtime.

First Overtime: TCU takes the field first and gets a touchdown on a pass from Kohlhausen to Emanuel Porter to take a 38-31 lead. Oregon ties the game with a one-yard run by Royce Freeman and the game goes to a second overtime.

End of 4th Quarter: Bram Kohlhausen is 25-for-40 for 344 yards, a touchdown and an interception for TCU going into overtime. Shaun Nixon has eight catches for 68 yards while Jaelan Austin has four catches for 67 yards and a touchdown. Oregon led 31-0 at halftime and has seen the game going into the extra session now. Royce Freeman has 115 yards rushing on 22 carries with two touchdowns for the Ducks.

4th Quarter- TCU 31, Oregon 31: The Horned Frogs have made the rally complete as Oberkrom hits a 22-yard field goal with 19 seconds left and the game is tied and likely will go to overtime.

4th Quarter- 1:00 left: TCU is at the Oregon 10-yard line.

4th Quarter- 2:17 left: Oregon has to kick and it is up to TCU now to make something happen to win it or tie it.

4th Quarter- 2:40 left: The Ducks take a timeout as they face second down and are trying to survive.

4th Quarter- Oregon 31, TCU 28: It’s down to a three-point game after Aaron Green scores a two-yard touchdown with 3:32 left and get the two-point conversion as well. Kohlhausen is now 24-for-38 for 339 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

4th Quarter- 4:07 left: TCU is down to the Oregon 32.

4th Quarter- 6:40 left: Another Oregon punt after TCU tried an onside kick and the Horned Frogs continue with huge momentum.

4th Quarter- Oregon 31, TCU 20: Jaden Oberkrom hits a 34-yard field goal with 7:45 left and it is a little bit closer for the Horned Frogs at the midway point of the final quater.

4th Quarter- 10:53 left: The Horned Frogs are back in Oregon territory at the 41-yard line.

4th Quarter- 11:58 left: Oregon has to punt and TCU has the ball back at their own 7-yard line looking to continue this epic second half comeback.

End of 3rd Quarter: The Alamo Bowl has turned interesting after three quarters as TCU has pulled within two touchdowns. Kohlhausen is 17-for-30 for 200 yards for the Horned Frogs. The Ducks can’t seem to get anything going without Vernon Adams Jr. in the game. Jeff Lockie is 3-for-4 for just 16 yards. Royce Freeman has 92 yards rushing on 16 carries.

3rd Quarter- Oregon 31, TCU 17: This is a very different Horned Frogs team in the second half. Bram Kohlhausen scores from two yards out with 36 seconds left to play and it is now a two-possession game.

3rd Quarter- 4:07 left: A fumble on the kickoff gives the Horned Frogs the ball back at the Oregon 15.

3rd Quarter- Oregon 31, TCU 10: Jaelan Austin catches a 26-yard touchdown from Bram Kohlhausen on fourth down with 4:18 to go in the quarter and it is suddenly a 21-point game.

3rd Quarter- 5:40 left: TCU has the ball deep in Oregon territory and can get it back to a three-possession game.

It has been a great first 30 minutes for the Ducks. Vernon Adams Jr. went 13-for-19 for 197 yards and a touchdown but was hurt late in the half. Darren Carrington has seven catches for 107 yards while Royce Freeman has 13 carries for 72 yards and two touchdowns for Oregon. Bram Kohlhausen has had a rough first half going 9-for-19 for 96 yards and an interception for the Horned Frogs.

2nd Quarter- Oregon 31, TCU 0: Aidan Schneider hits a 47-yard field goal with 32 seconds left in the first half and the Ducks are dominating.

2nd Quarter- 3:19 left: Kohlhausen gets intercepted and Oregon gets the ball back.

2nd Quarter- 5:25 left: TCU thought they caught a break on a blocked punt but Oregon picked it up and was able to run for a first down.

2nd Quarter- 8:17 left: Oregon can’t tack on any more points on their latest drive and even tries a fake punt but Adams is approaching 200 passing yards.

2nd Quarter- 10:13 left: The Horned Frogs go for it on fourth down and Kohlhausen’s pass is incomplete.

2nd Quarter- 11:27 left: TCU is trying to get back in the game and has worked deep into Oregon territory.

2nd Quarter- Oregon 28, TCU 0: Tony Brooks-James scores on a five-yard run with 13:30 left in the first half. The Horned Frogs don’t appear to have any options to slow down the Ducks.

2nd Quarter- 14:20 left: TCU has to punt again early in the second quarter of play.

End of 1st Quarter: Vernon Adams Jr. is 10-for-13 for 170 yards and a touchdown in just the first 15 minutes for Oregon as they blow out TCU so far. Royce Freeman has 43 yards rushing on eight carries while Darren Carrington has four catches for 100 yards and a touchdown. Bram Kohlhausen is 5-for-8 for 40 yards while starting for Trevone Boykin with the Horned Frogs. TCU needs things to change very quickly in the second quarter.

1st Quarter- Oregon 21, TCU 0: Freeman scores again with this time coming from five yards out with 27 seconds left in the quarter and the rout is on at the Alamodome.

1st Quarter- 2:31 left: The Horned Frogs get into Oregon territory but are unable to do anything else after that and need to punt.

1st Quarter- Oregon 14, TCU 0: Royce Freeman scores on a four-yard touchdown run with 5:12 left in the quarter and it isn’t looking good for the Horned Frogs early on. Freeman has 31 rushing yards on six carries while Vernon Adams Jr. is 7-for-8 for 98 yards.

1st Quarter- 7:40 left: After a review, a possible TCU turnover is reversed.

1st Quarter- Oregon 7, TCU 0: The Ducks have struck first in this one on a 37-yard touchdown pass from Vernon Adams Jr. to Darren Carrington with 9:29 left in the opening quarter of play.

1st Quarter- 10:19 left: Oregon is into TCU territory quickly on this second possession.

1st Quarter- 12:01 left: A quick TCU opening possession and a punt now for both sides.

1st Quarter- 13:11 left: Oregon is forced to punt on their opening possession of the game.

Pregame

Every year, the Alamo Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio features one of the highest-scoring games of the entire college football bowl season. It looked like this matchup wouldn’t be any different when it was announced the 9-3 Oregon Ducks would play the 10-2 TCU Horned Frogs. However during the days leading up to the game, TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin got arrested and has been suspended for the game which makes the matchup a bit less appealing. Can the Horned Frogs pull off a big win against a talented Ducks team anyway? Kickoff is scheduled for just after 6:45 p.m. Eastern.

The Motel 6 Cactus Bowl with West Virginia taking on Arizona State got a late start on the East Coast, which is why a lot of people probably missed out on one of the most baffling plays of 2016. Yeah, we feel pretty confident about that. Maybe you were already asleep, or taking a break from football to hit the local swinging disco — in which case, you definitely want to catch up on the play where college football turned into a round of Hot Potato.

What we basically have here is a fumble by West Virginia followed by a fumble by Arizona State followed by a…well, we guess that’s not a fumble by West Virginia. Looks like the guy caught the ball on the ground, so he’s technically down. We can’t blame him for still wanting to run, though. It wasn’t like anybody could tell what was going on there for a moment.

People laughed, but Motel 6 can be proud to have their name to this game — which, incidentally, ended with West Virginia winning 43-42. That was pretty thrilling. There’s also the bonus moment here of seeing that 38-38 score posted between TCU and Oregon at the Alamo Bowl during one of the most amazing comebacks in college bowl (or just college games) history. We’re beginning to think late-night games are the way to go…

Sara Mutschlechner, a 20-year old student at the University of North Texas and Zeta Tau Alpha sorority sister, was shot in the head while driving her friends back from a New Year’s Eve party.

Witnesses told police that Mutschlechner was the designated driver that night. She and several friends had left a New Year’s party when a black SUV pulled up next to their car and exchanged words with them, Denton police officer Shane Kizer told ABC News.

The exchange was “peaceful at first,” but the suspects then “made some comments towards the girls, and it escalated from there,” Kizer said.

Two or three rounds were fired at the young woman’s car, and Mutschlechner lost control and crashed into an electrical pole in Denton, Kizer said [source].

Police were called to the scene around 2 AM when they found Sara with a gunshot wound in her head. They took her to the hospital and put her on life support until later that day.

Police are currently looking for five or six African American males who were in the SUV, at least two of which were at the party with Sara.

News like this is always tragic to hear and read, but it becomes even tougher when you learn what a caring person Sara was. She was the philanthropy chair of Zeta Tau Alpha and had done some additional volunteer work for the American Cancer Society. Fittingly, Sara was also a registered organ donor and The Daily Mail reports that she has already saved the life of one burn victim.

On the evening of Sunday, January 2nd, friends and family held a candlelight vigil for Sara. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by the tragic death.

Megyn Kelly unleashed her fury in the latest issue of Vanity Fair, where she divulged details on her infamous interaction with GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump and his attempt to allegedly “woo” her.

After several months of backlash and disparaging comments from Trump’s Twitter account, Kelly is finally opening up about the debate.

“I wrote it,” she explained in Vanity Fair’s February issue when asked about the “fat pigs” question. “I researched each line item myself. It was interesting to me after the debate when people started fact-checking my question. My own reaction was ‘Bring it on.’ You think I’d go out there and ask a question like that at the first GOP debate without making sure I was bulletproof on every single word?”

She elaborates, “He would send me press clippings about me that he would just sign ‘Donald Trump’ and he called from time to time to compliment a segment. I didn’t know why he was doing that and then when he announced that he was running for president, it became more clear.” Clear and creepy.

“But, I can’t be wooed,” Kelly says. “I was never going to love him, and I was never going to hate him.”

However, it was pretty clear where she sided after that first debate – hate. Can you blame her?

In case you’re looking for a heartfelt story from 2016, you’ve come to the wrong place – all we’ve got here is a complete a**hole.

The Internet is currently hating on Holly Jones, a woman who went to Indianapolis restaurant Kilroy’s Bar N’ Grill on New Year’s Eve only to have her meal ruined by a woman having a heart attack.

Well yeah, that’s f*cking rude, amirite?!

Like the brilliant specimen she is, Jones had the audacity to post her complaints to Facebook in a lengthy rant that’s as sad as it is riddled with exclamation points. Umm… weird.

Happy holidays, you guys!

According to the Daily Mail, the 57-year-old woman Jones is referring to was having dinner with her husband when she suddenly fell ill. The woman was treated on the bar floor by paramedics and is expected to survive.

Luckily the restaurant’s manager Chris Burton showed awesome customer service and got back to her immediately.

Jones has since deleted her Facebook account and complained to Burton that she did not write the message, but her page was instead hacked. She also demanded an apology from the restaurant, “claiming they should have had more respect for her as she was eating with firefighters and veterans, even though someone with her that night called in to apologize.”

So not only is she an a**hole, but she’s also batsh*t crazy.

Jones’s employer Serenity Salon has since issued a statement after numerous posters called for her firing.

After Ethan Couch was on the run from police, the affluent teen was finally caught south of the border, where he is currently sitting in a jail in Guadalajara, Mexico. But before he had his freedoms taken away, Couch blew through $2,000 on hookers and booze while at a Mexican Mafia hangout frequented by El Chapo.

Sounds like a movie, doesn’t it?

The 18-year-old garnered public attention after getting only a slap on the wrist for killing four people in a drunk driving accident. He was then targeted by authorities after a video of him playing beer pong surfaced; drinking would be a breach of his probation and could lead to possible jail time. But Couch fled the country with his insane mother before finding out his fate.

The two fled to Los Tules, a sprawling beachside resort where Couch decided to have some fun along the coast. According to the Daily Mail, a night of debauchery doesn’t even begin to describe his time.

First he hit Prestige, generally considered among the classiest of Puerto Vallarta’s myriad clubs, many of which make no attempt to hide the fact that full sex is available – and even offer free condoms to anyone paying to take a girl into a back room.

He spent 500 pesos and had only one beer before walking 200 yards south and across the street to Harem, said the manager.

It was at Harem that Couch hit his stride, spending hours, and thousands of his parents’ dollars, on the ‘boobies and booties’ on offer.

Classy! But not as classy as having your mom pay for all of the hookers you can’t actually afford.

Asleep in the hotel, Couch’s mother was awoken by a hotel attendant and became quickly infuriated by how much money her son spent.

It is not uncommon for the client to realize at the end of the night that he doesn’t have enough cash on hand to pay his bill, both employees said.

“It is our policy to escort the man back to his hotel or to an ATM machine to get our money if they don’t have it with them,” said [Harem manager] Dudinez.

The group from Harem had to pass by Prestige as they walked Couch back to Los Tules, said the manager there. “I recognized him and they told me had spent too much money in the back with two girls.”

Someone, anyone, make this kid go away.

Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2016 is going to be the single greatest event for fans of technology, gadgets, and cool gizmos you only wish you could afford. In addition to the large showrooms displaying the new technology (especially awesome because they allow for one-on-one demonstrations with vendors), the biggest draws are the keynote speeches where companies like Samsung, LG, and even Volkswagen announce their plans for the upcoming year.

At last year’s CES shows, it was obvious that wearables and home automation were the big focuses of the year. We’re really excited to see what the world’s biggest names in technology have planned for 2016 and beyond. Hopefully it includes some great announcements about Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR).

Consider your Chemistry textbook officially out of date – four new elements are set to be added to the periodic table.

According to CNN, “elements 113, 115, 117 and 118 have formally been recognized by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), the U.S.-based world authority on chemistry.” The announcement was made December 30th and means that the seventh row of the table is finally complete.

Elements 115, 117 and 118 came from a Russian-American team at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California, while Japanese researchers were credited for 113.

None of the elements were found in nature, but instead created in a laboratory. According to CNN, “the elements had temporary names and symbols on the periodic table as their existence was hard to prove. Since they decay extremely quickly, scientists found it difficult to reproduce them more than once.”

“The chemistry community is eager to see its most cherished table finally being completed down to the seventh row,” said Jan Reedijk, president of the Inorganic Chemistry Division of IUPAC, in a recent statement.

He continues, “IUPAC has now initiated the process of formalizing names and symbols for these elements temporarily named as ununtrium, (Uut or element 113), ununpentium (Uup, element 115), ununseptium (Uus, element 117), and ununoctium (Uuo, element 118).”

The periodic table was originally devised by Russian chemist Dmitri Mendeleev in 1869 to categorize chemical elements by atomic number. It was also the bane of my existence in eleventh grade Chemistry.

The table has not been updated since 2011, when elements 114 (Flerovium) and 116 (Livermorium) were added to the family.

New Elements Added to Periodic Table

Ununtrium, Uut

A chemical element with atomic number 113. While the name and symbol are currently temporary, it is a synthetic element and is extremely radioactive. Its most stable known isotope, ununtrium-286, has a half-life of 20 seconds.

Ununseptium, Uus

A superheavy artificial chemical element with an atomic number of 117 and a temporary symbol of Uus. Also known as eka-astatine, it is the second-heaviest known element and penultimate element of the 7th period of the periodic table.

Ununpentium,Uup

A synthetic superheavy element with the temporary atomic number 115. It is extremely radioactive. Its most stable known isotope, ununpentium-289, has a half-life of only 220 milliseconds.

Ununoctium, Uuo

UPAC’s temporary name for the transactinide element with the atomic number 118. It has the highest atomic number and highest atomic mass of all the elements discovered so far.

According to the IUPAC, new elements can be named after a mythological concept, a mineral, a place or country, a property or a scientist.

It will take five months for the organization to make a final decision on official names. They will be open for public review shortly after they are submitted.

Helen Strickland, the wife of the late country singer Craig Strickland, announced on Twitter today that her husband’s dead body had been found. The discovery, which happened in the Kaw Lake area around Tulsa, OK, ended a search that had been going on for a week.

Craig disappeared after going duck hunting with his friend Chase Morland. The last thing Chase tweeted was pretty ominous:

“In case we don’t come back, @BackroadCRAIG and I are going right through Winter Storm Goliath to kill ducks in Oklahoma. #IntoTheStorm.”

Chase’s body was found last week.

Craig leaves behind his wife Helen, a former Miss Alabama 2014 who currently works as a speech teacher at Shiloh Christian School. The two were married for around a year before Craig’s disappearance.

Lips are pretty tight ahead of the keynote in terms of specifics, but Sony did tease the photo below as things to watch for in the keynote speech. First there was that tranny, and now it’s a 14-year-old girl – will Tyga ever learn?

The underage model pictured above is said to be the reason for the end of Tyga and Kylie Jenner‘s off-again, on-again relationship.

The aspiring model and singer sobbed during a press conference Monday as she read out a written statement while sitting beside celebrity attorney Gloria Allred. Molly explained that while she never met Tyga, the messages between the two were credited for his brief breakup with Jenner in November.

Considering Tyga started dating Jenner before she was legal, his involvement with a ninth grader is less than surprising.

According to the Daily Mail, Molly felt the need to speak out.

Allred insisted that OK magazine had implied her young client was keen to have a sexual relationship with 26-year-old Tyga, who was apparently unaware of the girl’s age when he contacted her.

Refusing to rule out taking legal action against the magazine or rapper, Allred stated: ‘I know that Tyga has music coming out this month, Gone Too Far, and I think he’s gone too far with this.’

Molly communicated with Tyga via Instagram then by text, with private messages between the two published in the OK Magazine article.

While Molly insists that she did not pass the messages onto the magazine, she got a ton of negative feedback from people who recognized her in pixelated photo they published.

“As a result of the story and the photo, I received a lot of negative attention, not only from people in my own state but from all over the place. I don’t deserve the negative attention I have been getting as a result of this photo. I would never have allowed OK magazine or any other magazine to use them.”

While the decision to shed her anonymity may seem counter-intuitive, considering the negative reaction she says she has already received, Moilly’s mother insisted it was the teen’s own choice.

“Molly decided the best thing to do was to stand up for herself,” said Anne. “I’m very proud of her to have the courage to come today and do this. I love you Molly, and I’m proud to be your mom.”

Anne added that Molly ended communication with Tyga after deciding it was inappropriate.

Since the press conference, Tyga has opened up about the fiasco, claiming he was just trying to scout her as a model. He says that the conversation was strictly business and the conversation never turned sexual. Weak defense, Tyga.

Ford is kicking off the second day of CES 2016 with a highly-anticipated keynote speech on Tuesday, January 5th at 7:30 AM EST.

The exact details of what President & CEO Mark Fields will unveil are still a secret, but experts believe that among the talking points are a self-driving car Ford has created in partnership with Google. So now that everyone’s gearing up to go back to school with their dangerous new Christmas gift, LSU’s ResLife sent out this notice:

The devices’ batteries can burst into flame–especially while being charged–resulting in a metal fire that can burn with intense heat. We are not willing to risk your safety and your community’s safety.

Please keep this new information in mind as you travel back to campus from winter break, and leave any device in this category at home. Also check your travel plans as a number of shipping companies, retailers, airlines, and other colleges and universities have banned these devices.
