The Notre Dame Fighting Irish has one major disadvantage that almost every other school in college football has and that’s playing in a conference and even a conference with a title game. The 5^th-ranked Irish are 9-1 for the season and need to win their final two games along with getting some help probably to make the college football playoff. Notre Dame will play the 3-7 Boston College Eagles on Saturday night at famed Fenway Park and will wear all-green uniforms for the game.

Notre Dame beat Wake Forest 28-7 last week and have been depending a lot of DeShone Kizer at quarterback. Kizer has 2,042 yards passing, 16 touchdowns and six interceptions for the season. C.J. Prosise leads the team in rushing with 975 yards but didn’t play last week and Josh Adams took over without any problems and may do it again this week. Will Fuller is quickly nearing 1,000 receiving yards for the season with 937 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns. It is clearly a game that Notre Dame must win before playing Stanford next week to end the regular season.

Boston College has lost six straight games including a 24-8 loss to NC State last week. They will wear throwback uniforms inspired by the 1984 Doug Flutie miracle game. The quarterback position has been a rotating mess for the Eagles this season with four different quarterbacks having between 42 and 63 pass attempts for the season. Four different running backs have between 233 and 307 yards rushing and five receivers have only 100 yards receiving. It has been a revolving door of stats for almost everyone on Boston College this year.

Letters to our troops mean a lot to the soldiers who read them, but some mail is definitely better than others.

Take for example, this one letter an American soldier opened from a 10 year old boy which contained both Halloween candy and an encouraging “good luck on killing those ISIS f*cks.”

Michael Phelps just announced that he’s expecting a baby with his super hot girlfriend Nicole Johnson and everyone seems pretty excited about it. Everyone, that is, except for his ex-intersex fling Taylor Lianne Chandler, who took to Facebook shortly after the Internet caught wave of the baby announcement to publicly ream him out. Things continue to worsen in the Facebook comments, when Chandler took it a step further and went after Nicole Johnson.

Damn. She went on to elaborate that this shameless display of intense anger is in no way a pawn to get Phelps back in the sack, or more personal time in the limelight.

For those who have forgotten, the Olympic swimmer allegedly had a short-lived affair with 42-year-old Chandler that caused quite a stir about a year ago. Phelps never confirmed the relationship with the intersex female, but Chandler sticks by her story.

According to her, Phelps first got in contact with her over Tinder – ah, true love! – and had their first date shortly after at a Baltimore Ravens football game. According to an interview with the National Enquirer, Chandler stated that during the game, “One thing led to the next, and we made love during halftime. Later, we had sex again. The intimacy with him was amazing! It was the first time in my life that someone has made me feel like a true woman.”

She also claimed that they were dating during Phelps’ arrest on suspicion of DUI in Baltimore, Maryland last year. He entered a rehab facility a few days after the incident.

There has been a lot to like about the Clemson Tigers this season. The top-ranked Tigers are 10-0 on the season and are already in the ACC title game. Clemson will look to continue their dream season as they host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons Saturday afternoon. Wake Forest is 3-7 overall for the year and just 1-5 in conference play. It is a game that Clemson must avoid looking past even with South Carolina coming up next week.

Clemson went on the road and beat Syracuse 37-27 last week. Deshaun Watson was a one-man wrecking crew last week and has 2,593 passing yards and 23 touchdowns for the year. Watson also has 598 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Wayne Gallman has 1,043 rushing yards and nine touchdowns but may not play due to injury. Artavis Scott has 68 catches for 627 yards and four touchdowns through the air. Watson is going to find himself near the Heisman Trophy if he can continue playing the way he has in the last few weeks.

Wake Forest is facing their second straight top-4 opponent after losing 28-7 to Notre Dame last week. John Wolford has 1,362 yards passing, seven touchdowns and nine interceptions and looks the way of Cortez Lewis a lot with his 38 catches for 498 yards and two touchdowns. The ground game hasn’t been the best but Tyler Bell has 346 yards rushing. The Demon Deacons aren’t going to make a bowl game but would love to ruin Clemson’s perfect season and chances for a national title.

The 2015 college football season is winding down and games like Saturday’s between the Northwestern Wildcats and Wisconsin Badgers are big for a number of reason. The 20^th-ranked Wildcats are 8-2 overall and 4-2 in the Big Ten Conference while the 21th-ranked Badgers are also 8-2 but are 5-1 in the conference. The winner of this game in Madison will likely finish second in the West Division behind Iowa and will also likely find themselves playing in a January 2 bowl game.

Northwestern has won three straight including a 21-14 win over Purdue last week. Clayton Thorson has thrown for 1,259 yards, six touchdowns and six interceptions for the season while Dan Vitale out of the backfield has a team-high 321 receiving yards on 28 receptions along with three touchdowns. Justin Jackson topped the 1,000-yard mark for the year last week and now has 1,033 rushing yards and two touchdowns. If the Wildcats win their last two, they will have ten regular season wins for the first time since 1995.

Wisconsin has won five straight games and beat Maryland 31-24 last week on the road. Joel Stave has 2,162 passing yards, ten touchdowns and eight interceptions on the year from the quarterback position. Alex Erickson has 63 catches for 831 yards and three touchdowns in the pass game while Dare Ogunbowale leads the team in rushing with 612 yards on the ground to go with six touchdowns. This is a very talented Badgers team that will want to get to ten wins themselves and into a higher-profile bowl game.

The Tour De Carbondale at Southern Illinois University was absolutely lit this year and apparently the police tried to shut it down. The idea is simple but awesome: get a bunch of college students to dress up in ridiculous outfits, ride their bikes, and hop from one party to the next. Harvard University students awoke to a hate crime this morning when they ventured to Wasserstein Hall and found that the majority of photos featuring black law professors were covered in slashes of black tape.

Students immediately posted the photos to Twitter:

With racial tensions building on college campuses across the country, these kind of incidents are sadly becoming the norm. But regardless of how often the occurence, students – and readers – thankfully remain sensitized.

The occurrence follows a rally students put together Wednesday night in support of black student activists and campuses across the nation feeling the heat of racial tension.

According to spokeswoman Michelle Deakin, Harvard University police are thoroughly investigating the incident.

The dean promptly sent out an explanation to unsuspecting students, inviting them to join a larger discussion this afternoon.

In a thorough, well-written account documenting the event, Michelle Hall writes,

The portraits of black professors, the ones that bring me and so many other black students feelings of pride and promise, were defaced. Their faces were covered with a single piece of black tape, crossing them out of Harvard Law School’s legacy of legal scholarship. Their faces were slashed through, X-ing them out, marking them as maybe unwanted or maybe unworthy or maybe simply too antithetical to the legacy of white supremacy on which Harvard Law School has been built. Harvard Law School was, after all, founded with the money from the sale of over 100 Antiguan enslaved people (because they were not slaves but people who were brutally and inhumanely enslaved) by the Royall family. To this day, the Royall family crest is the seal for Harvard Law School, and their legacy of white supremacy drips from every corner of the campus, like the blood of the 77 enslaved people murdered after a slave revolt on the Royall plantation. The defacing of the portraits of black professors this morning is a further reminder that white supremacy built this place, is the foundation of this place, and that we never have and still do not belong here.

We think it’s awesome that rather than just bringing popular musicians to colleges and universities, Samsung is taking it a step further and actually trying to teach you guys how to make your own beats.

There is something special brewing with the Michigan Wolverines. The 14^th-ranked Wolverines have won their last three games including a 48-41 double overtime win last week at Indiana. Michigan will look to improve on their 8-2 overall record this season Saturday afternoon at Beaver Stadium as they face the Penn State Nittany Lions. Penn State is 7-3 overall for the season and 4-2 in the Big Ten Conference while Michigan is 5-1 in conference play and wants to win this one before their epic matchup with Ohio State next week.

Jake Rudock has been getting better and better each week for the Wolverines and has 2,220 passing yards to go with 14 touchdowns and eight interceptions this year. Amara Darboh has 45 catches for 567 yards and four touchdowns in the pass game while De’Veon Smith has 582 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Michigan has a chance to win ten games and make the Big Ten title game but needs a win in this game along with an upset of Ohio State to make that happen.

Penn State had a week off after losing 23-21 at Northwestern on November 7 and would love to pull an upset in this one. Christian Hackenberg has 1,992 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and three interceptions so far this year. Chris Godwin has been hard to stop in the pass game with 49 catches for 808 yards and three touchdowns. On the ground, Saquon Barkley has 836 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. The Nittany Lions will need a big game from Hackenberg to win this one.

The Stanford Cardinal went into their game last week knowing that all they had to do was win their final three games and they would likely end up in the college football playoff. Stanford would stumble against Oregon though and now goes into their game against the California Golden Bears looking to rebound and potentially make the Rose Bowl instead. Stanford is 8-2 overall and 7-1 in the Pac-12 Conference while California is 6-4 overall and 3-4 in the conference.

Stanford lost 38-36 to Oregon last week as a late two-point conversion didn’t work. Kevin Hogan has thrown for 2,135 yards, 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Christian McCaffrey is making it look easy in the running game with 1,354 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. Michael Rector has 26 catches for 416 yards and four touchdowns to lead the receivers. This has now turned into a game that the Cardinal must win for their own confidence moving forward.

California broke a long losing streak last week with a 54-24 win over Oregon State. Jared Goff has 3,324 passing yards, 30 touchdowns and 13 interceptions for the year while finding Bryce Treggs quite a bit deep with 29 catches for 564 yards and four touchdowns. Khalfani Muhammad has been leading the run game with 524 yards and a touchdown for the season. Can the Bears get to their average of 511.8 yards a game against a solid Stanford defense? That will be the difference in this game in whether or not an upset happens or not.

Saturday’s game between the Mississippi State Bulldogs and Arkansas Razorbacks could be described as a battle between two teams heading in different directions. Mississippi State is coming off of a 31-6 loss at home against Alabama while Arkansas has won four straight games including two straight against ranked opponents. The two teams will face off at Razorback Stadium as the 6-4 Razorbacks try for five in a row this year against the 7-3 Bulldogs.

Mississippi State got hammered in that game last week and Dax Prescott got drilled a lot in the process. Prescott is leading the Bulldogs in passing and rushing this year with 2,651 passing yards, 18 touchdowns and two interceptions while also having 432 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. De’Runnya Wilson has 40 catches for 664 yards and eight touchdowns when Prescott does throw the ball instead of running with it. The Bulldogs have been successful this season but need to rebound from what happened against Alabama.

Arkansas went on the road and beat LSU 31-14 last week. Brandon Allen has 2,617 passing yards, 22 touchdowns and six interceptions this season and finds Drew Morgan quite a bit with 45 catches for 639 yards and nine touchdowns. Alex Collins has been dominant on the ground with 1,209 rushing yards to go with 14 touchdowns. The Razorbacks look better and better each week and will likely give Mississippi State all they can handle in a battle of teams from the SEC West Division.

New York City is supposed to be the most open-minded place in the world. You can’t walk ten feet down the street without seeing something insane, but New Yorkers manage to stroll on by without a second glance all of the time. Unfortunately this doesn’t apply to school administrators.

A formed New York City drama student is suing his college after he was suspended for partaking in a fully consensual threesome.

WTF?! Various schools won’t even entertain legitimate sexual assault cases, but they’re going to suspend a dude for having an agreeable sexual rendezvous?!

According to court documents, the guy and girl – referred to as John Doe and Jane Doe in documents – met their freshman year at American Musical and Dramatic Academy near Lincoln Center on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

Jane was interested in experimenting with another fella, so the duo invited a second dude – referred to as Richard Doe in the papers – to hop in the sack with them. This is where things get tricky.

Despite initiating the sexual encounter, Jane later regretted it, and decided to complain about the experience to school administrators.

According to the Daily Mail, “both of the young men have a recording of the woman admitting that she may have bitten off more than she could chew by participating in the experimental sex session. ‘It was just a lot to handle . . . Both of you guys at one time,’ she allegedly said. ‘I mean damn. Maybe another time, but at different times.’”

Administrators blamed both men for violating the school’s misconduct policy and were suspended for two semesters. They were also ordered to complete sex-violence training as well as write an essay.

Eventually the school lowered the charge to violating the school’s basic rules of conduct… which apparently includes no threesomes ever.

The Lambda Chi Alpha brothers at Cal Poly threw what looked like an awesome charity event, the 4th Annual Watermelon Bust. Truthfully I have absolutely zero idea what a watermelon bust is or should be, but the video came out pretty well.
