Harvard University Sex Week
Whoever said a bunch of terrifyingly smart kids didn’t have a whole lot of freak in them was waaaaay wrong.

Harvard University will soon kick off their annual Sex Week on November 8th, giving thorough workshops to students on how to navigate sex, including bondage, sadomasochism, and various erotic toys.

Yes, this is happening at Harvard – the school you never thought people actually got laid at. Turns out they aren’t just getting laid more than you, they’re also flogging eager participants more than you are.

According to their site, workshops are “dedicated to empowering the Harvard community to explore their experiences with love and sex by providing comprehensive programming addressing a wide range of issue relating to sex, relationships, dating, sexual health, and sexuality.”

More than 13,000 condoms and 12,000 bottles of lube are distributed throughout the week. Holy hell.

One class – deemed “Work Hard, F*ck Hard: The Guide to BDSM in the College Dorm Room” – is set to give an adequate explanation on how to go bondage when you’re totally clueless/only education you have on the subject is from E.L. James: “Want to get kinky in the bedroom but don’t know how to bring it up? Disappointed by Fifty Shades of Grey but not sure what BDSM is really all about? Join us for a discussion on what it’s like to be part of the BDSM scene, as well as some cool demonstrations with whips, floggers, and more!”

And more??!?!?! What are they going to do, get some consenting students up there for a live demo?! CAN WE GO?!

Harvard we take back everything we ever said about you – you f*cking rock.

VICELAND

VICE just announced that alongside A&E, they’re launching a brand-new 24-hour cable channel called Viceland that will be filled with original content they’ve been compiling for years. Most of you are probably more than familiar with VICE’s documentary-style works, maybe from their website, YouTube channel, or even the HBO show, but they’re hoping to show you even more with Viceland.

From what we can tell, Viceland will start with 11 original, new shows–some of which are hosted by famous celebrities you know well: Ellen Page, Eddie Huang, Michael K. Scott, and Action Bronson. We’ve done our best to list them and give a little background on each show.

Gaycation

Gaycation: Hosted by Ellen Page and Ian Daniel, Gaycation will act as a gay travel series that will look into how the various cities’ attitudes and how they treat the LGBT community. Among the places they visit are Brazil and Tokyo.

Huang's World

Huang’s World: Anyone who knows anything about VICE is well aware of Eddie Huang of Fresh Off The Boat fame. Pretty much anything that Eddie touches turns to gold so it shouldn’t matter too much, but expect him to travel the world in search of different cuisines.

Weediquette

Weediquette: Technically Weediquette is a VICE column about the use of marijuana and the ongoing fight to legalize the drug, but we’re excited to see what stories come out of the show.

Noisey

Noisey: Noisey has been VICE’s music outlet for some time now and we expect to see more of their coverage on their show. In the preview video embedded above, we caught glimpses of Snoop Dogg talking about Compton and the Bloods.

Motherboard

Flophouse

Flophouse: We’re not entirely sure what the angle of  Flophouse is, but it seems to be a standup comedy show that’s hosted at a crappy abandoned house.

CMA Awards 2015 Photos

The 2015 CMA Awards are happening at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee–and it’s the 49th annual CMAs, so we guess they’re saving all the country greats for the 50th anniversary. Damn, this is one screwy country awards show. We weren’t surprised to see William Shatner pop up in the opening, because he does that all the time.

But there’s also some bizarre imagery going on in the Bridgestone tonight. We aren’t too surprised to see Florida-Georgia Line disgracing country music with the night’s first man bun, but we weren’t ready for some other sights. Justin Timberlake actually held his own against Chris Stapleton, and we guess John Mellencamp showed up to do a song with Keith Urban so they could talk about dating movie stars afterwards.

Pairing the likes of an awkward Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy with some country artists didn’t really work, though. It would help if any of them seemed like a country artist. Also, we sure feel sorry for any country fan who sat down and had to deal with the sight of Sam Hunt.

It’s was, however, kind of cool to see Kenny Chesney playing on a set that looked like a mix of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and the Okefenokee Swamp. We’re not sure Kiefer Sutherland ended up as a presenter, though. We’ve talked music with him. Kiefer has better taste than that–but there’s probably an open bar backstage.

Fortunately, the red carpet has offered up some real beauties–with Carrie Underwood showing that she’s back in shape after birthing a baby, plus some more daring gals who represent the best of bringing modern touches to country. We don’t even mind Jewel being country as long as she wears the right kind of outfit.

We won’t bore you with pics of Mark Herndon, but we’re glad the original drummer from the band Alabama is there. He got a raw deal from his old band, but isn’t letting that keep him from socializing.

Anyway, here are some of the weirder moments so far, and we’ll keep updating as pics come in…

Faisal Mohammad has been identified as the man who stabbed four students at UC Merced. Authorities are still trying to uncover the motives of Faisal, who one victim reported that “had a smile on his face, he was having fun – which is more what bothers me.”

UC Merced Stabbing: Key Facts & Must See Details

Police report that Faisal used a hunting knife that was 8 to 10 inches in length before he was shot and killed by university police.

Faisal was a freshman and had just turned 18, which conflicts with reports yesterday that he was 20. Faisal’s roommates spoke to reporters today, telling them that he “didn’t talk much and kept to himself” and that added “Every time I would try and say something he would just ignore it.”

Best Jetpack Videos

We might not have flying cars and teleportation yet, but don’t tell me the future isn’t here when we have people flying above the clouds on jetpacks. Enter Jetman Dubai (aka Jetman Yves Rossy and his protege, Jetman Vince Reffet) who have developed their own special jetpacks that allow them to fly and soar wherever the hell they like.

Last year the two blew up the internet with an amazing video featuring the team flying through the skies of Dubai, in-between the city’s massive buildings. Now they’re back with a brand new video, this time sponsored by United Arab Emirates, where the insane Frenchmen fly right next to an airplane.

You half expect them to land on the wing and rip open the hatch–a la Iron Man or Superman.

Even better is that Jetman Dubai aren’t the only guys flying above ground on jetpacks, they’re just the best funded and most well-known. There are more than a couple of jetpack enthusiasts who have different designs and makes of jetpacks than Yvess Rossy, like this dude flying around the Statue of Liberty.

Aleira Avendaño 20 Inch Waist
Venezuelan model Aleira Avendaño went viral earlier this year after revealing to the world that she spends the majority of her day bound by an insanely tight corset. The reason? To maintain acquire – and eventually maintain – a 20-inch waist.

WTF?!

Now – after going under the knife more than 20 times for nose jobs, gastric bypass, breast enlargement, butt implants, liposuction, and neck elongation – she’s pretty happy with how she looks. And she thinks all woman should attain the same kind of synthetic beauty.

Again, WHAT THE F*CK?!

In a recent interview with The Daily Mail, the 26-year-old explains, “Every woman should have plastic surgery if they want to be truly beautiful.” Regardless of what you have to say about her cartoonish proportions, Avendaño’s enhancements have definitely gotten her the attention she was looking for, including half a million Instagram followers and a photo spread in Mexican Playboy.

“[My surgeries are] all in the name of beauty,” she explains. “I want to be known as the sexiest woman on earth…Only the strongest and most beautiful women are willing to go under the knife in the name of perfection…The hourglass body is the image of the perfect woman. I’ve come as close as I can to perfection, but I’m still trying”

Uh… sure lady… whatever you say…

DC’s Nightmare On M Street Was An Absolute Nightmare

For the 17th year in a row, DC played host to one of the largest Halloween bar crawls in the US, the “Nightmare on M Street.” The event, which is hosted by Lindy Promotions, allows partygoers to purchase a wristband, giving them admittance to 30 different bars in the DC area, with drink deals at each location from 5pm-12am. The deals included $3 beers, $5 vodka shots or vodka drinks, and $5 Kraken rum drinks. These might not sound cheap, but in DC these prices are a literal steal! This year, it was estimated that over 12,000 people were planning to join the crawl, with 17,000 people saying they were attending on the Facebook event.

Sounds fun, right? This was my thinking too and after partaking in the crawl last year where I had a great (yet sloppy) time, a lot of GW students chose to dress up and head to the bars prepared to make Halloween 2015 a memorable one.

It did turn out memorable, but not for the right reasons. A lot of people came away with negative feelings about the crawl, simply because there were too many people. Now I’m all for being around as many people as possible, and love meeting random people at the bars (I did make friends with a guy dressed as a taco), but when you have to wait 30 minutes to get into each bar, it definitely ruins your night. A number of the bars also ended the drink specials early as a result of being over capacity, which only made people more disappointed by the whole experience. A lot of people gave up on the bar crawl early, and decided to either head home, or head to bars where they could actually get in.

Instagram Photo

One partygoer stated after the event “I hated it and it essentially ruined my Halloween.” This was the feeling of a lot of people, who were essentially denied the chance to get drunk with their friends while dressed up as the Average Joe’s dodge ball team, or whatever costume they had decided to wear on Saturday.

However, despite the disappointment of not being able to get into the bars, there was a silver lining. Lindy Promotions provided excellent customer service to those people who wrote in to complain, and in some cases provided refunds. This was also just one night out of the several that made up Halloween weekend, so despite the letdown, Halloween 2015 will still be remembered as a success.

Hateful Eight Movie Trailer

The second full-length Hateful Eight trailer from Quentin Tarantino just released, and somehow it looks as though this is going to be Tarantino’s most violent movie yet. I mean, I don’t know what else we were expecting when a bunch of killers are trapped in a small cabin for days, but it’s still impressive for a director who brought us one of the most brutal torture scenes in cinematic history.

Born as Nicole Evangeline Lilly, the 36-year-old actress and her ass-kicking zombie ways on The Walking Dead have garnered the attention of the masses – and it’s pretty obvious to see why. What’s better than a gorgeous woman who can take a zombie like a pro? Nothing.

But while her role on The Walking Dead is a big reason why we love her, this is far from the first role we’ve ever seen her in. Lilly also starred as Kate Austen in the hit TV series Lost, and played Tauriel in The Hobbit movie series, both of which quickly became favorites amongst her fans. For Lilly, it can only go up from here.

12-Year-Old Canadian Found Responsible For 4Chan Threat

ASU 4Chan Threat

Remember that ASU shooting threat that was posted to 4Chan earlier this week? Well believe it or not, police announced that they found the person responsible for the threat.

ASU Shooting Threat, 4Chan: Must See Facts & NEW Details

It wasn’t a goth, it wasn’t an ASU student, it wasn’t even an American. It was a a 12-year-old Canadian boy who was responsible for the threat. Truthfully the whole post seemed a little weird in the first place, and while initially we thought it was because the person was insane, we now realize it’s because the poster was 12.

Arizona State University police said Tuesday that a shooting threat targeting the school’s Tempe campus has been traced to a 12-year-old boy in Canada.

An ASU police statement said the department, along with local and federal authorities, determined the “unsubstantiated” threat had originated from an online gaming website conversation.

“The juvenile has been contacted by Canadian authorities and apologized for his actions and the disruption they caused,” the statement said. [source]

Since the 12-year-old is a minor, his name won’t be released but you can bet your bottom dollar that his internet privileges are probably grounded for a couple of years.

Initially we didn’t think that the police would be able to track the 4Chan post, but the truth is probably just that the 12-year-old didn’t do as good a job of covering up his IP address as someone a little older might.

Like the majority of dating apps out there today, Tinder makes zero sense. It’s the one place where you can make a serious profile composed of pizza pics, a slew of ridiculous information, and direct proposals for an*l beads “and chill,” and still – somehow – be taken kind of seriously. Or if not seriously, at least be admired by those looking for some entertainment and relatively hot photos.

But then there’s those sporadic, golden moments when a unicorn profile pops up under your thumb, one with a hot profile pic and a lengthy bio that provides legitimate clues as to whether or not the two of your would get along. Or sometimes, just a solid boob pic above a noteworthy one-liner that speaks to your soul (…you get it).

For those sad souls who have yet to experience such a colliding of the stars, below are 15 profiles that will make you feel like you found your soulmate.

NC State Basketball Schedule 2015
No one saw the run of the NC State Wolfpack coming last season in the NCAA Tournament including knocking off top seed Villanova. A new season will bring new challenges for this team though. The team’s leading returning scorer in Anthony Barber is going to need to pick up the scoring from the departures of Trevor Lacey and Ralston Turner. If fans wanted to find a dynamic scoring team, they didn’t have to look any further than the Iowa State Cyclones. The Cyclones averaged 78 points a game and made nearly half of their shots. As the 2015-16 season approaches, the return of Georges Niang as the team’s leading scorer should make a very similar season happen again for this Cyclones team along with Monte Morris, who gets better each season. Iowa State will have their issues with a very tough Big 12 Conference but at least they will make things interesting no matter what. Here is a look at the 2015-16 schedule for Iowa State.

There will be a point where fans completely understand the Butler Bulldogs and don’t just look at them as a team from Indiana that can’t make a title run. The Big East has some work ahead of them dealing with the return of Kellen Dunham as a 6-6 guard that will cause matchup problems every time he is on the offensive end. Roosevelt Jones will be back as well in the Bulldogs lineup and has showed he can be a big-time player. One of the worst-shooting teams last season, the West Virginia Mountaineers still were able to win 25 games and make a solid NCAA Tournament run. As the new season gets ready to begin, there aren’t a ton of major changes for the Mountaineers. Devin Williams and Jevon Carter are both back as the leading scorers on this year’s roster. The two bring an inside-outside threat that will wreak havoc on teams in the Big 12 this season. Can Bob Huggins get this team over the hump though and into national championship contention? Here is a look at the 2015-16 schedule for West Virginia.

Baylor Basketball Schedule 2015
It may have been looked at as a struggle of a season for the Baylor Bears during the 2014-15 campaign as the team finished 24-10 and just 11-7 in the Big 12. However, as the new season approaches, there are two very shining lights on the roster that should make the Bears even more dangerous than they were last season. Taurean Prince and Rico Gathers are both back as the team’s leading scorers and that gives the Bears an early edge on their younger competition. The two seniors could make this a special season in Waco. Here is a look at the 2015-16 schedule for Baylor.

Maryland Basketball Schedule 2015
The Big Ten Conference proved to be a new and different animal for the Maryland Terrapins last season but the team still finished 28-7. As the 2015-16 season gets ready to get started, the Terrapins will be once again leaning on a young player to lead their scoring.
