Good news everyone: the annual University of Michigan Sigma Alpha Epsilon Mudbowl is going to continue, despite the school’s best efforts to shut it down. This will be the 82nd year of its existence. [lead image via mlive]

So this year members of the now defunct SAE fraternity (who now operate under the name “The Flying Eagles”) will host the Mud bowl at their alumni-owned home on Washtenaw Avenue as an independent group of U-M students. Although they claim they’re an unaffiliated organization, The Flying Eagles admit they have a duty to continue the tradition.

Zach Dubin, a junior at Michigan had this to say about the Mud Bowl:

We do in fact have the authority to host this year’s Mud Bowl. As the custodians of an 82-year tradition, we want nothing more than to host this special event, an event that is in no way associated with the SAE national organization. [source]

Good on The Flying Eagles because honestly the Mud Bowl is one of the most legendary college traditions today.

Republican teen activist CJ Pearson has a pretty big bone to pick with President Barack Obama.

The 13-year-old political activist made headlines late last week after he posted a video on YouTube criticizing Obama for inviting Ahmed Mohamed (the kid who made the clock in Texas) to the White House. Now he’s complaining that POTUS blocked him on Twitter.

Shortly after Pearson posted the screenshot on his social media sites like a good little millennial, White House press secretary Frank Benenati issued a statement saying that no one has or will be blocked from the @POTUS account.

Naturally, this really pissed Pearson off. He fired back with another Tweet:

Of course, he then took to Facebook to make another video, shaming the president and his leftist tactics.

Damn! This is getting heated – and funnier as it goes on. Luckily another tweeter put their two cents in, saying that when Pearson accused Obama of blocking him, he was still following the President on Twitter, which doesn’t add up considering blocked users cannot follow you or see your tweets.

So what’s next in this Twitter saga? Probably another video/tweet/Facebook post/Instagram Post/Snapchat from the angsty 13-year-old. Stay tuned!

Deadspin just published a letter they claim was sent by a James Madison University Phi Gamma Delta fraternity brother to potential recruits, essentially instructing them how to pick up freshman chicks.

This same letter even goes so far as to lay out which rooms some freshman girls live in, and what they rank on a scale of 1-10.

You can read the letter in full below. FYI, “FROG Week” is short for FReshman Orientation Guide week.

I’m not going to debate whether or not we should discuss this letter in the fear that FIJI gets in trouble because Deadspin has already written about it, which means this is going to be big news soon.

But we are going to talk about some key points:

• First off, if this letter was written by a FIJI brother and given out to freshman then WHO found out about the girls, where they live, and what they rank?

• The kid who wrote this knows that it’s creepy to list the girls, and admits that. Solid move.

• Get dressed quickly? Why quickly?

• It’s almost (almost) weirder to me that this dude laid out not just girls, but guys that he’s deemed cool enough to “tag along.”

So yeah needless to say FIJI is probably going to get taken down a peg or two because of this letter which actually would have been super helpful information if not for the whole “we’ve identified that best looking 18-year-olds you should try and bring to our house.”

We’ve had a thing for Yanet Garcia since she showed up on our radar earlier this summer, after becoming Insta famous virtually overnight. His 22 date tour with Chris Brown reportedly earned $5,842,657 – with one show at the Forum bringing in $1,501,732 alone. While his latest effort, While The Gold Album, did not sell all that well, he still reportedly picked up over $300,000 for the effort and after his last six records – including his collaboration with Chris Brown Fan of A Fan – he’s earned around $1,277,373.

2007: His debut mixtape, Young On Probation, is released, garnering him enough attention to sign a record deal with Young Money Entertainment.

2008

June 10, 2008: Tyga first independent album, No Introduction, was released. One of the songs from this album, “Diamond Life”, was used in the video games Need for Speed: Undercover and Madden NFL 2009, as well as in the 2009 movie Fighting.

2008: Also in June of 2008, Tyga was robbed of his jewelry by unknown assailants. A a pair of diamond chains would end up in the hands of local rapper 40 Glocc, who showed them off in an online video. Tyga would eventually admit to the robbery, but said 40 Glocc wasn’t behind it. “Some ni**as seen me and ran up on me with a little burner… I guess 40 Glocc’s peoples robbed the peoples that got me, and then hopped on YouTube, talking about they robbed me.”

2009 – 2011

Tyga was not involved in any major productions –mixtapes, albums, tours, or otherwise– during this period.

2012

February 21, 2012: Tyga’s second studio album, Careless World: Rise of the Last King, was released.

2012: Tyga also produced and co-directed a multi-AVN award-nominated crossover adult film, Rack City: The XXX Movie, which starred Skin Diamond,Jada Fire, Ice La Fox, Sophie Dee, Lexington Steele, Kristina Rose, London Keyes and Daisy Marie. He also signed the soundtrack, which includes the hits “Rack City” and “Faded” together with several original songs, and he appeared in the film in a non-sex role. In addition, he launched the adult film website Rackcityxxx.com, which earned an estimated $12,000 in the first month.

Similarly, Tyga launched his own clothing line this year – Last Kings. He receives 10% of the companies earnings and reportedly earned $3 million through Last Kings in 2012 alone.

In late 2012 Tyga was sued by two women who appeared in the “Make It Nasty” video for $10 million each; they claimed he had shown their nipples without their consent. April 9, 2013: Tyga’s third studio album, Hotel California, was released.  The album was less successful than his second studio album commercially, debuting at number seven on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling 54,000 copies in it’s first week.

September 4, 2013: Tyga was sued by Beverly Hills-based jeweler Jason for allegedly not paying for roughly $91,000 worth of jewelry. Jason claims that Tyga agreed to pay $28,275 for the jeweler’s diamond pantheon watch in August 2012 and that he borrowed a $63,000 diamond Cuban link chain in December 2012 and never returned the item, so he sued Tyga for the cost of both pieces, plus late fees, which totaled up to $185,306.50 in damages, double the original total cost.

September 21, 2013:  Tyga was sued by another woman from the  “Rack City” video  for sexual battery, fraud, invasion of privacy, and infliction of emotional distress. She claims, like the two other women who have filed suit against him the year before, that she was convinced to dance topless and assured her breasts would be edited out.

2013: Tyga also released a nine-track mixtape entitled 187.

2014

October 14, 2014: Tyga releases the Kanye West produced 40 Mill.

2014: Tyga began his highly publicized, highly profitable, relationship with a then-16 Kylie Jenner. While it was clear the two were romantically involved, Tyga would not publicly confirm it until Kylie’s 18th birthday.

June 2015: A judge ordered Tyga to pay an $80,000 settlement to a former landlord, who rented a home to the rapper in the city of Calabasas, California. It was the second ruling in the case, following a judgement in May 2015, in which he was ordered to pay $90,000, though the debt was never paid.

June 23, 2015: Tyga’s fourth studio album, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty, was released, premiering exclusively on Spotify. Following nearly a full week of streaming and three days of sales, The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty failed to reach the Billboard 200 it sold only 2,200 copies during it’s first week.

July 24, 2015: His reality show Kingin’ with Tyga premiered on MTV2.

August 10, 2015: Tyga purchases  $320,000 Ferrari for Kylie Jenner’s 18th birthday, publicly acknowledging their relationship for the first time.

September 2015: The state of California placed a tax lien on Tyga for $19,000 in unpaid taxes.

So there you have it. While Tyga is clearly business savvy, he’s also clearly a immoral, given his history of breaking the law. Most estimates put Tyga’s net worth at between 5-8 million, but with a new App and reality TV show out this summer, that figure is bound to rise.

Syracuse University has officially joined the rest of the PC university crowd (we’re looking at you University of Tennessee) and has banned their kiss cam from sports games, after a fan suggested that it sent the wrong message at a time when colleges are fighting against campus sexual violence.

Steve Port of Manlius was the one to file the complaint after he saw a game against Wake Forest on September 12. He claims that the kiss cam encouraged unacceptable behavior and even assault, since he saw several men forcibly kiss women who were clearly saying no.

According to Fox News,

In one of two examples, he said a woman’s head shake was met with “no less than six sets of hands from the seats around her shov(ing) her unwilling face into his.” The crowd cheered, he wrote in a letter to the editor, which generated hundreds of comments on Syracuse.com, both agreeing and disagreeing with him.

“Honestly, I wasn’t out to kill the kiss cam,” Port said by phone Tuesday. “I was just out to raise an important issue that I saw happening and that’s important to me. I’ve always kind of been a little put off by it anyway, but never witnessed an actual act of — oh, my God, this woman is saying no and it didn’t matter.”

The kiss cam feature was pulled from Saturday’s game against Central Michigan.
Syracuse University athletics spokeswoman Sue Edson addressed the issue stating, “We are taking the time to assess the concerns expressed in the letter to the editor.”

But what do students have to say about this? Is this only the complaint from a man twice their age? Or is this a common thought? Senior Elaina Crockett suggests authorities polling the students on their thoughts.

Crockett, who writes a column about gender and sexuality for The Daily Orange student newspaper, said that otherwise it’s counter to today’s emphasis on affirmative consent that stresses communication and respect for boundaries as a way to reduce campus sexual assaults.

“Just because I’m sitting somewhere doesn’t mean that I’m entitled to kiss this stranger. That’s a horrible assumption that we’ve created,” she said by phone.

While I see her point, I think it’s all in good fun. I would hope the idiot sitting next to her wouldn’t try to mack on her if she wasn’t into it, but based on stupidity alone, who knows if that’s even a viable option.

Samsung also announced some great news for VR fans everywhere: Netflix, Hulu, and Twitch are coming to Gear VR. Exact timetables for those releases haven’t been announced, but we know Hulu should come this Fall.

TomorrowWorld is back and better than ever this year with a fantastic live stream schedule powered YouTube and presented by T-Mobile. The epic music festival in Chattahoochee Hills will be broadcasting live sets from their unique stages every day from 7 PM EST until 1 AM, September 25th-27th, 2015.

A Washington Redskins fan showed up to the NY Giants game Thursday night in full red face, which is both a word I’ve never used before and completely indicative of the idiot Redskins fans who don’t realize there’s a race of people who hate them.

UCLA student Andrea ‘Andy’ DelVesco who was found dead in her apartment Monday morning was facing drug charges, police say.

Andy was arrested on June 10th in Westwood for four counts of drug possession, which included Ecstasy, LSD, methamphetamine and Psilocybin (hallucinogenic mushrooms), according to LA Superior Court records [source].

Anne Hathaway is in our professional opinion, one of the most beautiful and talented actresses in Hollywood and takes some seriously hot photos. Her new movie, The Intern, with Robert DeNiro opens this weekend and the sexy brunette has been doing a ton of press around the film.
