I’ve lost count of how many times I wished I was back in school, but moments like this scene from NC State’s Talley Student Union as the wolfpack topple LSU in the 2nd round of March Madness are right up there with Spring Break.

The UCLA and SMU came down to the wire, but no moment in the game was more important than when a referee called goaltending on a three-point shot that put UCLA up by one. Here’s the “goaltend” that Yanick Moreira was called for.
It’s a bang bang play, but the fact of the matter is that this should have been reviewed.

People can get pretty out-of-hand at festivals, especially at Austin’s SXSW, so we’re not completely surprised to find a video of some guy getting arrested during festival hours. What we are surprised at, is that he somehow managed to escape – with handcuffs. Check out the video below. The man’s a natural Harry Houdini.
It’s the last day of Spring Break for Texas State, and they’re making it count.
Students are taking to the beach in their final days to wear their school colors loud and proud, and show the shorelines what Texas State is all about. While they slather on their last bit of sunscreen and show the locals what it really means to party, check out the best Spring Break photos from their trip below.
I want to start by saying that the beginning of this USF Spring Break video is the funniest pump fake I’ve seen in awhile. So nice job, gentlemen.
They also deserve a round of applause for smuggling wine and Bacardi 151 onto a ship (no small feat in itself), having a blast, and partying with some wild women.
You can do a lot worse than partying in Miami, Nassau, Cococay, and Key West.

The newest international trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road has officially been released, and it looks as badass as we expected the movie to. Who knows if it will be as good as the original, which hit theaters nearly 30 years ago, but based on the visuals, we think it’ll suffice. Did we mention Rosie Huntington-Whiteley? Yeah. Maybe it’ll be better than we thought.
True Detective Season 2, the follow up to the hit show on HBO, cannot come fast enough. That’s why we’re providing you with all the True Detective 2 plot rumors, cast updates, and photos we can get our hands on.

Director Nic Pizzolato has remained pretty hush hush about the show, but we do have confirmation that Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Taylor Kitsch, and Rachel McAdams are set to star in Season 2. We have also heard rumors that adult film stars Peta Jensen and Amia Miley have been added to the mix, no doubt taking part in the “deliriously vast orgy sequence involving dozens of naked bodies in Eyes Wide Shut-caliber sex antics.”

Very early on in the preparation for the second season of True Detective, Nic Pizzolatto revealed that the new season would be taking viewers into the messy quagmire that is the “the secret occult history of the United States transportation system”. Specifically, as it pertains to California and the long standing conspiracy theory that General Motors kept the state from developing a decent public transportation system so that residents would continue to have to rely on cars.
This does indeed seem to be where season 2 of True Detective is taking us. The season is due to kick off with the dead body of a corrupt politician being found along the Pacific Coast Highway with satanic symbols carved into his chest. California Highway Patrol officers Colin Farrell and Taylor Kitsch are assigned the case.
It turns out the victim is a known associate of Vince Vaughn’s character and this dead man had a dark side involving some associations with S&M clubs – but perhaps most importantly, the man was in the middle of brokering a big deal that would solve the state’s gridlock problem.
Vince Vaughn’s character just happens to be a career criminal who is allegedly trying to turn legitimate by getting involved in this business deal of developing a high speed railway system for California and finds himself being the main suspect after his business partner turns up dead.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley reveals what she wears to bed in her hot new photoshoot for M&S lingerie, and we are forever grateful.
In her tenth campaign, the 27-year-old British supermodel models an array of silky slips and lace tops for Rosie for Autograph, her newest lingerie and sleepwear collection. Looks like we’re going to have to look up those other ads…

Talk about a week that everyone in Greek Life would love to forget. In addition to all the awful stories that’ve been going around the web, now North Carolina State University’s Pi Kappa Phi fraternity has been placed on interim suspension following the discovery of a green book with some pretty illicit quotes that has been linked back to the fraternity.
Apparently, along with quotes like “If she’s hot enough, she doesn’t need a pulse,” “that tree is so perfect for lynching,” and “be kind to the whales because they’ll lead you to dolphins,” there are signatures next to the quotes that match the names of Pi Kappa Phi brothers.
Somewhere, there’s a pledge who is in deep, deep, doo doo.
At 104-years-old, Elizabeth Sullivan is giving credit to Dr. Pepper for her longevity. The Texan native has apparently been drinking three cans a day for the past 40 years.
In an interview with a local news station, Sullivan explains, “Every doctor that sees me says they’ll kill you, but they die and I don’t… So there must be a mistake somewhere.”
On her 104th birthday, Sullivan received a gift basket from Dr. Pepper’s CEO Larry Young, and a cake shaped like her beloved soda.

Bud Light set up four separate Bud Light Houses Of Whatever in celebration of Spring Break at four different party hot spots. As you probably gathered from our ridiculous coverage last week, we made the trek to the party oasis in the desert: Lake Havasu.

In the worst news we’ve heard all day, PAX is joining E3 in banning booth babes from their future events.
In a recent statement, PAX announced:
Booth babes are defined as staff of ANY gender used by exhibitors to promote their products at PAX by using overtly sexual or suggestive methods. Partial nudity, the aggressive display of cleavage and the navel, and shorts/skirts higher than 4” above the knee are not allowed. If for any reason an exhibit and/or its contents are deemed objectionable to PAX management, the exhibitor will be asked to alter the attire of its staff.
Cosplayed characters that are playable in-game are an exception to this rule (within reason), and exhibitors must obtain permission from show management prior to the show.
If for any reason an exhibit and/or its contents are deemed objectionable to PAX management, the exhibitor will be asked to alter the attire of its staff or remove those staff from the show.”
First it’s booth babes, then it’ll be cosplay models. We can’t stand for this injustice! If they don’t go, we don’t go, nor do about 987489327984234 attendees who come specifically to see them.

You don’t have to a human to be a fan of March Madness, just take a look at these dogs rocking their school’s colors during the tournament. They’re the best friends you could ask for to watch the game with–they never talk during the game, they’ll bring you beers if you train them right, and they’re great to cuddle with if you lose.
You can tell that doing SXSW was a big deal to Jimmy Kimmel because there was actually a rare Jimmy Kimmel Live! on a Friday night. We’re guessing that Jimmy wasn’t going to miss the chance to bring in a genuine Texas legend like Willie Nelson for his last show during the Austin, Texas event.
It also provided a nice transition from the film festival that that started the week to the music festival that began on Wednesday. We weren’t too happy with Jimmy’s non-Austin Texas outfits over the past few days, but he seemed to really be having fun – and Austin probably won’t be groaning too much that Kimmel’s musical tribute to the town is based on “To All The Girls I Loved Before.”
We know it was a hit for Willie, but the song’s square enough to have actually been written by a dad of one of The Strokes. At least Willie gets handed lots of great local references that get the natives going wild. Anyway, it’s fun, and people need to be taking SXSW less seriously, anyway….
It was a pretty cool week for trailers–with a new Avengers: Age of Ultron television spot still throwing in lots of cool new imagery, plus a fun international trailer for Mad Max: Fury Road, and Insidious 3 looking real damn scary. And yet there were also plenty more things to tease us into the summer film season. Take a look at the video games gone amuck, some scary A.I., and plenty more…
We haven’t been excited over an Adam Sandler movie since That’s My Boy, and some say that didn’t turn out real well. Pixels is looking really promising, though, with President of the United States Kevin James calling in Adam as his video-game expert pal to take on aliens attacking Earth with malevolent versions of Pac Man, Donkey Kong, and more. Michelle Monaghan, Peter Dinklage, and Ashley Benson also show up, and we don’t even care if this movie is kid-friendly enough that firemen aren’t allowed to be eaten…
We thought this was just going to be Real Doll: The Movie, but Ex Machina is quickly picking up some serious buzz as the tale of a computer programmer brought in by a tech giant to test a new form of A.I. that happens to be a beautiful robot. This trailer sure has us excited–as sci-fi fans, you know…
Ed Skrein used to be on Game of Thrones, and we’re not sure if he was fired or actually left the show to become a second-generation Frank Martin in The Transporter: Rebooted Reimagined Refueled. We are sure that this trailer looks like The Transporter series that we know and kind of love, but not love enough that we’re really excited about the movies making a return…

The big Solar Eclipse of 2015 happened yesterday, with England supposedly getting a good look at the thing. The weather didn’t cooperate, though. Most local media reports would’ve been really honest with this headline…
Yeah, a lot of people in London did not get the celestial spectacle that they were expecting. That’s why decent video of the event has been hard to find. We’ve mostly just seen funny pics of people watching the eclipse while wearing those very important glasses for eye protection.
But now the BBC has come through with some really amazing footage that’ll help you understand why ancient civilizations flipped out over this kind of thing. They also went blind because they didn’t have the very special glasses. Video is a lot safer–so check it out, with narration from Professor Brian Cox, Dara O’Briain and Liz Bonnin. They don’t really flip out, but we wouldn’t blame them if they did. But they seem pretty smart…
