Charlotte Mckinney swears that she eats the All Natural burgers she shilled in her Carl’s Junior Super Bowl ad that’s got everyone all excited. At least, that’s what she told TMZ when they caught her outside of Nobu Matsuhisha in Beverly Hills.

How about that cheeky up and down from the cameraman to get her legs into focus? That’s almost as devilish as the wink she gave to the camera. We see you Charlotte. In the words of Jalen Rose, “Keep gettin them checks.”

The Super Bowl is known for two things: the actual game and the kick ass commercials in between. In anticipation for February 1, we rounded up our favorites thus far. Melissa Benoist has been officially announced as the small-screen Supergirl in the CBS network’s upcoming show about the (usually) blonde babe from the planet Krypton–and that’s just part of what’s already been a fantastic year for this fantasy girl. She’s also in the cool indie film Whiplash, which surprised a lot of people with an Oscar nomination for Best Picture. That’s a lot of action for a gal who once seemed like one of the more forgettable gals of Glee.

Baseball legend Ernie Banks has passed away at the age of 83–and he died as a real hero to fans everywhere. He’s even the official “Mr. Cub” for his long career as a Chicago slugger (and two-time MVP) who ended up in the Hall of Fame He sure had a better career than the Cubs ever did as a career.

We’re snowed in here at the COED offices, but the important thing is that Taylor Swift  is free to frolic in Hawaii–and she’s thoughtfully brought along Haim, that femme family band that’s beautifully represented by sisters  Este, Danielle, and Alana. We’re sure that all of these gals already have new music ready to happen, but it’d really be okay with us if they retired permanently to yacht life. They look so happy.

Wildlife photographers aren’t always just lounging around and getting high and taking pictures of birds. That’s why we gave up the gig. We lacked the spirit of wildlife fotog Keri Wilk. This true man plumbs great depths to find the true miracle of nature. He doesn’t even flee for his life when he’s diving down to take photographs of majestic giant sperm whales off the coast of Dominica, and suddenly finds himself beneath a sperm whale’s massive bowel movement.

No, this brave man swims in for a closer shot of a spectacle of nature that many of us might have missed. In fact, 99.9% of the human race would never see such a spewing of poop was it not for Keri Wilk and his fearless drive to document every act of nature. No matter how disgusting.

We’re excited about tomorrow night’s Miss Universe pageant, of course–but really excited to be totally excited over Miss USA without even worrying that we’re just acting all ‘Murican. Nia Sanchez is a truly kick-ass contestant. Literally, too, since she’s a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. We really like the idea of a Miss Universe who becomes an action heroine. We’re hoping that’ll get Sylvester Stallone to hiring our Expendabelles dream cast. [photo via…]

This also reminds us that we’re also endorsing Miss Israel Doron Matalon–partly in the spirit of selfies in the name of world peace, but also because she’s one hot Israeli import on the level of Bar Refaeli. There are plenty more awesome Miss Universe contestants, too, but those are the only ladies who inspired us enough to place some really irresponsible bets that we can’t possibly afford to lose.

Saturday Night Live got straight into Deflategate last night, and it was probably because Lorne Michaels occasionally says, “Well, let’s just go downhill fast.” The cold open did a great job of deflating oblivious coach Bill Belichick and Tom Brady (in a great turn by Taran Killam), and even ended the sketch strong with the introduction of Bobby Moynihan as the scheming Assistant Balls and Equipment Coach.

And then the rest of the show had to happen, with the dopey SNL writers unable to come up with a better idea than writing a bunch of country-themed sketches around Blake Shelton as host and musical guest. Yeesh. The monologue did a pretty good job of addressing the issue, but it wasn’t a teaching moment.

The rest of the show just had a lot of dopey country-themed sketches, plus a token The Voice sketch that was really an excuse for Celebrity Family Feud. All of these felt like they went on way too long–although something still went wrong, and SNL wrapped up 55 minutes early. There was a time when the SNL cast would consider that a great opportunity to improvise something fun and exciting. This version of SNL just pads things out with commercials.

Oh, well. This is what smart people saw before turning the channel during the Saturday Night Live opening credits…

Maria Kirilenko is turning 28 years old today–that being January 25, 2015–and the tennis star is celebrating in a way that makes us very sad. It seems that Maria Kirilenko has found a new way to turn heads by marrying a mystery man. Nobody’s really sure who the luck guys is, but we doubt that it’s NHL star Alex Ovechkin. Maria dumped him via Instagram last summer.

Not even tennis insiders know. Fellow blonde beauty Maria Sharapova says that she knew Kirilenko was getting married, but,  “I’m not sure to who. I really don’t know.”

The important thing is that Maria Kirilenko will continue to stay on the court and beautify the world of tennis–which is how Maria made our list of last year’s Hottest Women of Wimbledon. We’ve stayed big fans, and we’ve sure enjoyed her Instagram account. Especially when she used it to dump guys. That fun might be over, but you’ll want to keep enjoying Maria in all of her fine form–right here, too…

It was a pretty quiet week for movie trailers–mostly because DC doesn’t have any footage ready for upcoming projects, and Marvel has already teased Ant-Man and Avengers: Age of Ultron. But there are some intriguing movies coming up that don’t have incredibly huge moments, and we sure like the look of these promising indies…

Knock Knock

Keanu Reeves is trending hot, following up the genre fun of John Wick with a surprise starring role in the Eli Roth thriller Knock Knock, where he’s a family man alone for the weekend who’s visited by two hot babes. You’ll understand why it’s a horror film if you’ve ever seen 1977’s Death Game. This is a remake, and Knock Knock just played the Sundance Film Festival to better reviews than the original exploitation classic. Eli’s celebrating by hosting the trailer on Facebook–but we kind of like the wonky look of this not-so-official version…

It Follows

We’re genuinely terrified by the idea of ghosts who are transmitted like a sexual disease, because we can pick up on that subtle metaphor. Also, this new international trailer for It Follows does a better job on selling the film than anything we’ve seen yet…

Kidnapping Mr. Heineken

It’s a true story, folks: “In 1983, a group of small-time crooks abducted Dutch beer tycoon Alfred “Freddy” Heineken, demanding several million Euros in ransom for his return. Amazingly, they got the money — but it didn’t take long for things to fall apart.” That’s the official synopsis, and we’re looking forward to this tale of losers who got lucky, but then failed to win the sympathy of the courts because they asked for money instead of beer. We like the idea of Salma Hayek as a tough gal trapped in an apartment as she fends off a gang of mobsters, and we’re ready to add her to our Expendabelles dream cast. But we’re more excited about a new movie from director Joe Lynch, who made the very cool Wrong Turn 2: Dead End, and then could barely get a release for the really fun Knights of Badassdom–despite Peter Dinklage being badass in the cast…

We don’t know why snipers keep signing on for shady freelance work, because there are sure a lot of movies where they always end up framed and on the run. The latest one stars Sean Penn in the usual situation, but we like the idea of him taking on a script that Liam Neeson probably turned down…

Plenty of guys will be watching the Miss Universe pageant tonight–but even more men might be tuning in to watch the Miss Universo 2015 Pageant aired live on Telemundo. A lot of them will be cheering on Josselyn Garciglia as Miss Mexico. It’s a fact. We’re sure celebrating Nia Sanchez as Miss USA, but just consider that Josselyn was born in La Paz–which is the capital state of the Mexican state of Baja California Sur. Ergo, a California girl, and that’s why we’re adding Josselyn to our Top Three Miss Universe candidates, along with Nia and Miss Israel Doron Matalon.

At the very least, a win for Josselyn might lead to her visiting her sister state in the USA. Then she can become a Hollywood movie star. Or maybe a nutritionist. She has a degree in Nutrition. We’re okay with whatever Josselyn decides to do, as long as it includes getting guys to tune in to Miss Universe tonight. We know that the SAG Awards are supposed to honor ensemble casts and that kind of thing, but we didn’t know that emphasis on supporting characters would introduce us to so many new faces (and hot bods) on the red carpet. We’ll also note that Miss Colombia really came from behind, so to speak, since Paulina kind of stumbled in the classic tradition of beauty queens having to get asked questions. It took a while for her to finally declare that the answer is “equality”–because there are men who believe in equality, we think.

The important thing is that Paulina also declared that “[women] continue fighting for what [they] want to accomplish. It’s sure no secret how Miss Colombia fought her way to being Miss Universe. Check out her hottest photos, and get excited for a great year in…um, the universe….

The SAG Awards were certainly the classiest awards show to find a way to nominate a cast member from the Lifetime network’s Flowers in the Attic. But we also like how the SAG Awards found a place to nominate Orphan Black‘s Tatiana Maslany, and a few other important actresses of fine form.

But the SAG Awards Winners are also a great way to get insight into the Oscars. We’d go with the Producers Guild Awards for Best Picture (they’re saying Birdman), but the SAG Awards can help out in other parts of the Oscar betting pool. Take a look at the winners here, and then get a lot of confidence to bet unreasonable sums of money that you can’t really afford. We’re sure inspired…

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon can’t seem to keep himself out of hot water. It was reported on Sunday that Gordon failed another drug test and now will be subject to a one-year suspension from the NFL. Gordon was suspended for the first ten games of this past season for a similar drug arrest before returning to play five games for Cleveland. [lead image via Getty Images / Kevin C. Cox]

It has become very clear that Gordon can’t stay away from the drugs and the Browns have to think about letting the young, talented wide receiver go because they can’t trust him no more. He had to enter the NFL in the first place after being dismissed from Baylor because of a failed marijuana test. He had been suspended for the first two games of the 2013 season as well for violating the substance-abuse policy.

The Browns have enough turmoil already around them with Johnny Manziel and trying to figure out if it is worth having him as the team’s starting quarterback in 2015. If Gordon gets the full year suspension that everyone’s saying he will, Cleveland may as well just move on and cut their losses. There will be another team that takes on Gordon and if that happens, that team needs to hope that Gordon will change his life for the better.

There are many fans of the Seattle Seahawks that would love to get their hands on any piece of memorabilia that they can. A collage that the NFL was selling recently may have been the most valuable one in a long time. The league’s official website store had a 20-by-24 collage with five pictures included from the NFC Championship Game for $150. One picture was of Marshawn Lynch grabbing his crotch after scoring a late touchdown.

Fans who have tried to buy the collage have noticed that it is now “out of stock” and the league announced late Sunday that the collage won’t be available anymore. Lynch was fined $20,000 for the grab and NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said that “any play that results in a fine may not be used commercially.”

That would be the best way to go about it but how did the picture get into the collage in the first place? That seems like an oversight that needs to be looked at by the NFL. Lynch has already been warned about the crotch grab for the Super Bowl and the Seahawks will be penalized 15 yards. Hopefully when a Super Bowl photo collage is put together, Lynch and his hands aren’t in the picture.

New York Times op-ed columnist Charles Blow says he was fuming after finding out his son – a third year bio major at Yale University – was confronted by police officers Saturday night because he allegedly fit the description of a burglary suspect. Upon hearing the news, the popular writer took to Twitter to vent his frustrations:

A spokesperson from the college reportedly confirmed that police had stopped a student Saturday night, but made no mention of the gunpoint allegations. Yale police stated that they were responding to calls of a possible burglar roaming the campus, entering student’s dormitory and pretending to be looking for someone that was not there. The actual suspect was later located on a nearby campus.

Chris Berman doesn’t enjoy looking like a fool, so when someone at ESPN messed up his halftime promo, you can guarantee that heads will roll. Here’s literally the only thing you need to watch from this year’s Pro Bowl.

KFC’s newest attempt to kill you is called the Double Dog and it looks delicious. Completely ignoring the part of a hot dog that is bread, Kentucky Fried Chicken decided that the best way to improve on a hot dog was by wrapping it in friend chicken. Oh, they’re also adding a questionable cheese sauce because fried chicken seemed too healthy.

This was an idea originally launched in South Korea last year, but now it looks as though the Colonel is bringing this monstrosity to the Phillipines–for a limited time.

How is this not stateside yet?

A New Hampshire woman got the surprise of a lifetime this weekend when she stopped by her local Burger King and found her takeout bag full of cash instead of her Junior Spicy Chicken sandwich and sweet tea.

Janelle Jones noticed the mistake on her way home, when she reached into the paper bag and felt two bank deposit bags and a bunch of loose Benjamins. Jones promptly returned home to show her husband the massive fuck-up. After about an hour the couple returned the $2,631 and, in return, received five free meals.

Looks like it pays to be a good samaritan (just not that well).
