Jennifer Lopez has had one of Hollywood’s hottest careers in—well, everything. She began her showbiz career alongside Jim Carrey on In Living Color, but Jennifer Lopez was just a background dancer on the comedy sketch show. Then the Bronx-born beauty went into acting after a stint on tour with Janet Jackson. She showed up in some schlock, but broke out big in the 1995 indie drama My Family.
That would lead to Jennifer playing the title role in the Selena biopic–followed by the hit film Anaconda in 1997. Jennifer was suddenly white hot, and she did more great work in Out of Sight and U Turn while launching her pop career with 1999’s “If You Had My Love.” Jennifer has been a megastar ever since. She’s also been proving that she can be a real sex symbol over three decades. That’s made for plentiful hot pics. This statistic sheet, put together by Knicks reporter @KennyDucey, is probably the best thing we’ve seen come out of the Orange and Blue all year. Screw it, this is probably the best thing to come out of the NBA this year.
Just like Carmelo’s hat game, the Knicks record (both home and away) has been atrocious this year.
The final trailer for American Sniper has been released and looks heavier than an RPG. In this trailer, it shows more of what American hero and Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle had to go through, both while deployed and back at home.
I’m reading the book right now, and I could not be more excited to see what kind of character Bradley Cooper plays. In the book, Chris is 100% unapologetic for everything that he’s done. In the movie it looks like there’s at least some semblance of fear. Either way, we’ll be watching Clint Eastwood’s newest flick on Christmas Day.

Stephen Colbert says goodbye to The Colbert Report tonight–which means popular culture is either losing its favorite firebrand or most desperately-needed conservative straw man. But there’s no denying that Stephen Colbert could bring together people of all political beliefs when it comes to being a geek. In fact, Colbert could probably think of some kind of strawman/J.R.R. Tolkien gag that we can’t manage.
So as the real-life Colbert moves on to The Late Show next year, let’s take a moment to remember some great geeky moments from the Stephen Colbert whose persona fueled The Colbert Report. Actually, the geek obsessions are part of the same guy, so that’s appreciated. We’re probably going to see a lot of this guy still as he takes over for Letterman. That’s enough to keep us tuning in…
Andrea Catsimatidis–the woman photographed with Bill at the Clinton Foundation Fundraiser–has filed for divorce from her husband, Christopher Nixon Cox, grandson of President Nixon.
I think we all know what happened here. Add another notch to Slick Willy’s belt. What a f*cking guy, still sticking it to the family of one of the most infamous Republican presidents in the history of our nation.
Did anybody else notice that we’ve been in the middle of college finals? Yeah, it’s hard to tell–given the wild party pics and videos that we’ve been seeing from the likes of USC and University of Michigan and Binghamton University, plus assorted college students gone wild. But now we can really tell which colleges have been partying their way right through the finals. That’s courtesy of the fine college party app WIGO, which stands for “Who Is Going Out?”
As it turns out, there are a lot of college kids going out when they should be studying. Or maybe we’re about to look at the Top Five College with the Smartest Students, because WIGO has put together a list of the schools that had the most activity during the traditional finals period. So here’s a big sah-lute to five fine institutions….
1) Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC
2) Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX
3) Suffolk University in Boston, MA
4) Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT

Yeah, let’s especially hear it for Coastal Carolina University–which easily made our list of the Most Underrated Party Schools in the United States. Good to know that those guys and gals are keeping up their reputation. In fact, WIGO reports that Coastal Carolina University hit the top with as much as 70% of the student population partying during finals week. Good for them, and good for WIGO for pointing out which schools really keep that app happening.
Jennifer Lopez is closing out 2014 in the exact same way that she spent most of the year–reminding us that she’s still one of the hottest women in pop music. And in movies, and in book publishing, and whatever else Jennifer Lopez is out to accomplish. That includes showing off her very healthy self for SELF magazine with some hot new photos.
We’re also feeling pretty good about how Jennifer Lopez handles things when a young cad breaks her heart: “When you have that much pain, you have to anesthetize yourself in some ways. People do different things. Some go out and party and sleep around, but that’s just not my way. I found the comfort in someone else.”

Update: Bobby’s plead “not guilty” to Conspiracy in the Second Degree. Bail is set at $2 million and it’s reported his record label with pay the bail.
Bobby Shmurda, the rapper behind the hit track “Hot N*gga,” was arrested with what the cops are claiming was a whole lotta contraband–including $52K worth of crack, a pound of marijuana, $40K in cash, 3 hand guns, and an assault rifle.
Bobby was arrested while he was waiting in his car outside of Quad Studios, the same place Tupac was ambushed by three shooters.
There are a lot of charges against Bobby. Here’s a photo depicting the charges against him and his boy, Rowdy Rebel.
While the NYPD haven’t shown us a photo of the assault rifle they claim they nabbed, here’s what they say they took during their raid of the GS9’s (G Stone 90’s–a Crip-affiliated gang) including one of the craziest looking pistols I’ve ever seen, a gun from the future, and a gun from the Civil War.
The two guns you see at the top are what the NYPD are claiming Bobby Shmurda was arrested holding. Here’s a better closeup of that massive one on the right.
Additionally, the GS9’s–who were part of a longterm investigation–were caught with all this firepower. What’s up with that gun from the future on the bottom right, and the Civil War gun above it?

Remember this morning when we were talking about how Texans could still see Team America in a movie theater for Christmas? You know–even after Sony canceled all screenings of The Interview. Well, we spoke too soon. Now the craven executives at Paramount have announced that they’re not allowing exhibitors anywhere to show Team America.
Yeah, there’s a rush to self-censorship. We’re pretty sure that ex-Marine and Price is Right host Drew Carey is now the only real man left in Hollywood–and he must still have a DVD collection, because he posted this via Twitter….
Yeah. Good for Drew. Hey, let’s watch the Team America trailer before Paramount decides to start trying to ban that, too…
Thursday night’s game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans had little interest for playoff purposes. Both teams were bringing a 2-12 record into the game while fighting for the No. 1 overall pick in next year’s draft. Marks sacked Charlie Whitehurst in the final seconds of the game to give him 8½ sacks for the season. That activated a $600,000 bonus in his contract. Marks got up and did the old Johnny Manziel money sign to Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell in the press box. It’s not easy for a defensive tackle to get to eight sacks in a season, but that big sack brought a large Christmas bonus.
Marks said after the game that he was going to take any teammate who wanted to out on the town to celebrate his big bonus–and, yeah, the team’s third win of the season. It normally isn’t fun to celebrate while having a 3-12 season. For Marks, it was definitely worth it on this night.
Last night was the first People Magazine Awards, and we weren’t expecting much. People magazine isn’t exactly the kind of rock ‘n roll publication where celebrities strike their sexiest poses. We were pleasantly surprised by a few gal on the red carpet, though. Not that it was any surprise to see Jennifer Lopez baring her bod. It was still up to Kate Upton to win an award as PEOPLE’s Sexiest Woman–and we can’t argue with that. Kate had to show off some of her amazing curves. Other ladies seemed to be looking to win next year’s competition, too. That included Melanie Iglesias in a daring outfi, and Roselyn Sanchez showed some skin. She was still kind of toned down after her wild outfit for this year’s Latin Grammys, but anything wilder would’ve gotten her arrested.
We expected a hot turn from Victoria’s Secret model Karlie Kloss, of kourse, and Amber Rose had to bust out of her outfit. Pop starlet Liane V also made a big impression–and we’re pretty impressed by how Mindy Kaling showed off some major sideboob. Take a look for yourself, and find yourself hoping that there’ll be a People Magazine Awards in 2015…
Well, The Colbert Report ended its run last night, and nobody killed off Stephen Colbert’s persona of Stephen Colbert. That’s what people were expecting after Grimmy the Grim Reaper was announced as the final guest. Instead, Stephen Colbert gained immortality. That’s nice. And it’s no spoiler, either, since the really big finish was a music number that featured a ton of musical guests.
Here is it, and we won’t list too many names. Some are expected. Some are not. Some are reminders that Stephen Colbert–as the host of The Colbert Report–was a particularly toothless court jester in a lot of ways. He sure made some powerful friends, though. Take a look–as hosted via Mediaite, because they’re the least likely to have their video yanked over copyright issues. It’s kind of their job to cover this stuff as news….
Last night, the Dallas Mavericks acquired Rajon Rondo from the Boston Celtics for an absolute steal: Jameer Nelson, Brandon Wright, Jae Crowder, and two picks.
It’s so bad that Jalen Rose wouldn’t stop laughing at Bill Simmons on The Sports Guy’s own show, Grantland Live. Unfortunately there’s no clips of that uploaded to YouTube yet.
But we’re not here to rub it in to all the Boston Celtics fans who now have no hope of anything for 5+ years. We’re here to tell you about how amazing the Dallas Mavericks franchise is. We’re here to tell you that Rondo jerseys were already on display just minutes after the deal was finalized.

Kendall Jenner has been teased as a big story for the UK’s Love magazine for several months now–and the actual shoot is no disappointment. We know that a few pics have leaked out from Kendall Jenner’s sexy shoot, but it sometimes felt that we’d be into 2015 before everything finally came out from Love. Jimmy Kimmel Live presented their annual Clip of the Year award nominees last night, and we were especially happy to see one of our new friends front and center.
While he didn’t win, we can’t really complain because Jimmy’s pick for the Clip of the Year is laugh out loud funny each and every time we watch it.
Twitter is going nuts for this Bobby Shmurda arrest and I can’t get enough of it. It makes sense that it’s being heavily discussed on the internet since he pretty much blew up because of Vine, but I’m actually laughing out at some of the stuff people are saying about the gun shmossesion charges he’s been hit with.
