Dulce Maria: 22 Hottest Photos On The Internet

Dulce Maria Hottest Photos

Dulce Maria–born on December 6, 1985, in Mexico City–started out as a child actress, which means that she’s spent 20 years as a superstar in her homeland. She first proved that she was all grown up when Dulce Maria landed a lead role in the telenovela Rebelde in 2004. That series was set in the world of pop music, and would lead to Dulce becoming a member of a pop trio called RBD–who would go on to have their own fictionalized series.  [photo: Larry French/Getty]

Dulce began to be a pop princess in real life, too. She started her proper solo career in 2010, and still managed to keep her acting career going. Dulce has had some great film roles, but also keeps working in telenovelas–including a recent stint on Mentir Para Vivir before going on to hit the stage in a production of the hair-metal musical Rock of Ages. We’ve kind of been hoping that Ducle would take her impressive pipes over to Broadway, but that’s going to stay a rock ‘n roll fantasy for a while. Until then, though, we’ll take some comfort in 22 of Dulce Maria’s hottest photos…

Today Is Pearl Harbor Day — Remember It With ‘Team America’ [VIDEO]

“December 7, 1941—a date which will live in infamy—the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan.”

So began the famous speech by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt the day after Japan’s surprise bombardment of the U.S. military base in Hawaii’s Pearl Harbor. The attack brought a heinous loss of life and an initially devastating blow to America’s navy arsenal but, as has often been said since, it only served to “awaken a sleeping giant.”

On that morning after, FDR was specifically requesting that Congress make an official declaration of war (a constitutional protocol that’s since become as rare as listening to live speeches on the radio). America was stunned, wounded, and angry. Of course, as the famous equation states, “comedy equals tragedy plus time.” Sixty-three years later, Team America: World Police milked the day that will live in infamy for musical hilarity—sort of.

The specific target of Team America (and South Park) creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone was not the actual Pearl Harbor attack, but Pearl Harbor, the huge, dumb, lumbering would-be blockbuster starring Ben Affleck that was foisted on audiences a few summers earlier by Transformers director Michael Bay.

“The End of the Act (Pearl Harbor Sucked)” is a romantic lament sung by puppet hero Gary Johnston in which he points out, “I miss you more than Michael Bay missed the mark/ When he made Pearl Harbor… I need you like Ben Affleck needs acting school/ He was terrible in that film.” Also, try not to think about the national tragedies that’ll get made into dumb epic movies in 2034…

SNL Highlight: Nicki Minaj is Kim Kardashian for ‘Weekend Update’ [VIDEO]

Nicki Minaj Kim Kardashian Saturday Night Live

Nicki Minaj mocked Kim Kardashian for being an exhibitionist on Saturday Night Live last night–which is pretty amazing, although “highlight” might not be the right word. It’s not so amazing to see the “Weekend Update” segment reduced to reaching back a week for lame commentary on Kim’s Paper magazine cover. All you’re really getting is a collection of televised memes that aren’t as funny as what’s already been on the internet.

Well, there is the added bonus of Nicki Minaj in a revealing outfit while reading off a telepromper. You don’t want to know about any of last night’s other SNL skits. James Franco hosted and everything was unfunny. It’s kind of interesting that SNL has posted the dress rehearsal version of a dull Troll Bridge sketch, though. It isn’t any better than the version that aired, but maybe the writers preferred that first take on the gay kiss in the sketch. We can’t honestly recommend that you bother to see. At least Nicki is dressed to make this video worthwhile…

“Frosty the Snowman” Turns 45 — Meet the Dirty Comic Who Brought Him to Life [VIDEO]

Frosty the Snowman Jackie Vernon

Animation studio Rankin-Bass won the Christmas TV Special Universe with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in 1964. Then the company skipped animated puppets for old-fashioned animation with Frosty the Snowman. CBS debuted the half-hour show–based on the holiday hit made popular by Gene Autry–on December 7, 1969. Kids have been putting on hats and dancing with brooms ever since. They’ve also been trying to mimic one of the dirtiest comics in stand-up history.

That would be Jackie Vernon, who stars as Frosty and was hailed in his 1960s heyday as “the King of Deadpan.” Vernon’s dumbfounded stare, slack-jawed delivery, and bizarro-world one liners set a template adopted by oddball stand-ups such as Mitch Hedberg, Steve Martin, and Steven Wright.

That was the Jackie Vernon that primetime TV audiences enjoyed. By night, he was also was a “blue” comic who worked filthy, specializing in Friars Club roasts and wee-hour Playboy Club gigs. One of Vernon’s signature bits featured him describing horrific scenes of grotesque, stomach-turning sexual excesses, punctuated by the line, “And I thought to myself–gee, what a neat guy!”

Somehow, somebody at Rankin-Bass heard Jackie’s blisteringly obscene routines and thought, “That’s our Frosty!”

In 1983, Jackie Vernon starred in the motion picture for which he is best known after Frosty the Snowman: the cannibal horror comedy Microwave Massacre, which became an early home video hit. Vernon plays a schlubby construction worker who unintentionally kills his shrewish wife, chops up her body, and then accidentally cooks and eats her. This gives him a taste for microwaved female flesh that he satisfies by slaughtering and consuming streetwalkers, thereby prompting the classic line, “I’m so hungry, I could eat a whore!”

Think of that classic line the next time you catch an airing of Frosty the Snowman. And check out Jackie (who had a fatal heart attack in 1987) staying relevant by recounting the charms of a miserable town called Ferguson…

“Eaten Alive” Airs Tonight on Discovery; Make Sure It’s the Right One [VIDEOS]

eaten alive

Tonight at 9pm Discovery debuts Eaten Alive, a one-hour special in which “naturalist” Paul Rosolie reportedly gets swallowed whole by a live, 18-foot giant green anaconda, the most powerful snake presently slithering on earth.

Hype has been high on this stunt showcase for several months now, with Rosolie describing how he donned a special suit coated in pig’s blood and how the snake engulfed his head and “beat the sh!t” out of his entire body. The manner in which Rosolie got out of the animal has not been revealed, and it may or may not be demonstrated on the show tonight.

PETA and other lower creature defendants have predictably and not unreasonably protested an undertaking that, if true, must amount to tormenting a mighty reptile just doing its thing in the Amazon rainforest. Others decry the sheer stupidity of the premise. Still, just try not to tune in for at least a peek.

The Eaten Alive that’s airing on Discovery tonight is not the first commercial production to employ that title. If you’re looking for the snake special, that’s the one you want. You may or may not want to consider these other Eaten Alive options…

Eaten Alive (1977)
Horror director Tobe Hooper followed up his 1974 masterpiece The Texas Chainsaw Massacre with this backwoods saga of Judd, a psycho hillbilly who owns a rundown swamp-front hotel, and his pet alligator, who routinely gets to feed on guests who check in (and then check out) through a trap door…

Eaten Alive (1980)
Cannibal Holocaust star Robert Kerman and gorgeous B-movie vixen Me Me Lai team up in a barf-bucket gore-fest for splatter filmmaker Umberto Lenzi. Concerned outsiders travel to the South American jungle, where they run afoul of local maneater tribes. The movie does not end with the natives going hungry…

“Eaten Alive” (1985)
This is a single by Diana Ross. It wasn’t a hit, despite the catchy title…

2015 Rose Bowl Sugar Bowl

The four-team playoff field has been officially announced on ESPN, with Alabama and Ohio State moving on to the Sugar Bowl, while Oregon and Florida State are going to the Rose Bowl. The winners of those New Year’s Day games will move on to the national championship being played on January 12 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. [photo: Tom Pennington/Getty]

These are going to be some amazing games, too. FSU has never gone up against Oregon, and has already won 29 straight games. This will also be the first time that Alabama has gone up against Ohio State in 20 years. The day isn’t over yet for big college football news, though. Coming up later this afternoon–the announcement of the full Top 25 rankings, along with the pairings for the other Orange, Cotton, Fiesta and Peach Bowls.

In totally unrelated news, certain COED staffers have decided to give up betting on college football games. Not that they ever did, anyway.

It’s beginning to dawn on us that 2014 is really coming to an end–but there’s no end to the beauties who brighten up the daily COED Instagram Feed. In fact, there’s not even an end to babes in bikinis. As we were reminded earlier this week by Sports Illustrated, there’s always some place in the world that’s perfect for some sexy swimwear shoots.

We were actually reminded  of that by a hot parade of beauties this past week–including Elle Johnson (above), Melodi Meadows, Katya Henry, Mahila Snyder, Bryana HollyAlexis RenAmanda Cerny, Talisa Lo, and more. There’s more to intimate Instagram pics than just swimwear, though. Let’s not forget the contributions of lingerie’d ladies like Becca Lane and Kate Compton, plus exciting exercise clothes sported by Ashley Martelle and Dani Mathers.

Anastasia Ashley just looks amazingly hot in a nice robe–and there are plenty more sexy outfits to marvel at as we look back at a stellar week in Instagram models. We know that 2014 will keep ending with plenty more of these heated moments, but start this week by looking back at some very hot models…

CollegeFootball Playoff Cheerleaders

The results are in and the teams are picked for the first ever NCAA College Football Playoff. And while we can’t say we agree with the selection committee’s decision to snub Big 12 hopefuls Baylor and TCU from a deserved shot at the national title, we have zero complaints with the cheerleading talent of the chosen teams of the final four.  Sure, the Bears and the Horned Frogs have two of the most beautiful squads in all of college football, but we think you will agree, Alabama, Oregon, Florida State and Ohio State represent incredibly well.

In the final moments of extra time in the MLS Cup final, New England’s A.J. Soares pulled a huge douche move by attempting to help LA’s goalkeeper Jaime Penedo to his feet only to then push him over on to his face.  To Soares credit, it was a long game, legs were tired and emotions were high, but get some class A.J..  You lost and made a huge ass out of yourself and your team.  Great Job!

Drunk Guy Locks Himself In Bathroom Stall Video

This drunk guy got stuck in a men’s room stall, and we can’t figure out if he had a better or worse weekend than we did. We didn’t get so drunk that we ended up unable to get out of a restroom stall–but, on the other hand, this guy sure has better friends than we’ve ever found. There wouldn’t be anybody for us to call if we ever got stuck in a restroom stall. Our alleged friends would just show up with a video camera and start filming the whole thing.

We know that’s what’s happened here, but at least it’s rescue footage. At least this guy’s friends didn’t have a great time shooting footage until they caught the poor guy’s totally awesome death rattle. Anyway, here’s what friends are for…

Big 12 Conference Looking At Changes After Missing Playoffs

Big 12 Conference

The final college football playoff rankings came out on Sunday afternoon with Alabama, Ohio State, Oregon and Florida State making the new four-team playoff. That left TCU and Baylor–with the Big 12 co-championships–on the outside looking in. This is forcing the conference to look into changes to make sure something like this doesn’t happen again. [photo: Jamie Squire/Getty]

During an interview on ESPN, Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby said “it’s clear we were penalized for not having a postseason championship game. It would have been nice to have been told that ahead of time.” While Bowlsby has a point, the conference needed to name one championship and Baylor beat TCU on the field. The conference decided to just name co-champions.

There has been talk about a conference championship game but the conference would need to add two more teams to make that happen. Bowlsby has a lot of work to do to fix this especially now that his two 11-1 teams won’t get to be in the playoff. There may be no doubt that Bowlsby will be looking to have an eight-team playoff in college football sooner than later though.

Eaten alive Anaconda Footage Video

Eaten Alive aired on the Nat Geo channel last night–and it turns out that it’s not that easy to get eaten by an anaconda while wearing a camera helmet. The footage gets kind of disappointing, and the guy in the outfit will begin to figure out that anaconda’s have to break bones to fit something huge into their mouths.

We could’ve figured that out without all the spectacle, folks. Anyway, here’s the highlight….

Aquaman has seen better days, and a crew of UCB characters have proven it with this hilarious sketch. The underwater superhero disses Batman along with other superheros during a speech that he showed up to drunk. To see the video, go visit our friends over at The Huffington Post, who appropriately suggested that Aquaman use Wonder Women’s Lasso of Truth on himself to realize he needs help.

Lily Aldridge & Martha Hunt on Two Broke Girls

Lily Aldridge & Martha Hunt on 2 Broke Girls (8:00 pm, CBS)

We may be getting occasional with the See Her Tonight column, but we are often still needed–especially with Lily Aldridge and Martha Hunt showing up to push the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show with a guest turn on 2 Broke Girls. That’s the kind of fun corporate branding you get when both shows appear on CBS.

We’d also appreciate some corporate crossover action by having Lily and Martha talk Kat Dennings into trying out some Victoria’s Secret lingerie in tonight’s episode. That might not happen. We know that Airbnb is getting a huge corporate promotion, though. The titular 2 broke girls use the service to rent out their apartment, and get genuine Victoria’s Secret models right at their door. That’ll sure inspire a lot of guys to start using Airbnb.

Anyway, it’s a fine CBS annual tradition, and we’re hoping things won’t be as bittersweet as Adriana Lima stopping by The Crazy Ones last year. We know 2 Broke Girls will be around for a while, at least–and you’ll want to be tuning in tonight after checking out pics of the glamorous guest stars…

Private University Presidents Who Make Over $1 Million a Year — Plus Some Gossip About #1

Highest Paid College Presidents List

Want to know the highest-paid presidents at American’s private universities? The Chronicle for Higher Education was sure curious, and just provided some very interesting figures–including this Top Five…

Shirley Ann Jackson: The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY – $7,143,312

John L. Lahey: Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Conn. – $3,759,076

Lee C. Bollinger: Columbia University, New York, NY – $3,389,917

Amy Gutmann: University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Penn. -$2,473,952

Charles R. Middleton: Roosevelt University, Chicago, Ill., $1,762,956

Yeah, that’s some serious money–and you’ll find that the presidents of Stanford, Princeton, and Harvard are stuck in the neighborhood of a mere 900k a year. Which makes it all the more baffling that Shirley Ann Jackson is hauling in a cool $7 million and change over at Rensselaer Polytechnic.

The Chronicle for Higher Education has some thoughts about that, too–and while the high figures for some college presidents are making news, we also like the gossip that CHE digs up on Jackson. Check out that article and all the other salaries, and decide if you’re ready to feel enraged or grateful.
