Emily Ratajkowski is saving Christmas with hot new photos from the Yamamay lingerie line–but we’re experts on hot Emily Ratajkowski photos, and we’re saying that some of these outfits are from this past summer. We’re not complaining, though. Yamamay is welcome to hit us with Emily Ratajkowski lingerie photos all through the holidays. All we’re saying is that some of these outfits will look familiar to guy who checked out our sexy stills from some sexy Emily photos that leaked at the end of summer.

Don’t get us wrong, we love us some Kate Upton, but it’s physically impossible to take her second “Game of War” commercial seriously.

True story, if it weren’t for Kate’s rather plump bosom, there’s no way we’d watch this again. Yet, there it is.

I guess they couldn’t afford for a better script after they dished out a reported $40 million to use Kate as the face of their franchise. To see more of Kate without her really bad acting, check out all of our posts on Kate Upton here.

Ian McLagan is dead, and that’s a big loss to rock ‘n roll even if you don’t know his name. That’s kind of the fate of a rock ‘n roll sideman. Ian McLagan was still a very big deal in a lot of legendary bands–starting when the London boy joined a band called the Small Faces back in 1965. The band had a long stint as rough rockers, even if they never broke through in the States as big as the Rolling Stones.  [photo: Michael Loccisano/Getty]

Ian got lucky in the ’70s, though–along with the rest of the Small Faces, as leader Steve Marriott left the band and they brought in new guitarist Ronnie Wood and a vocalist named Rod Stewart. The name was changed to Faces, and the band kept going while their ’60s associates began to fall by the wayside. By the time that Stewart went solo, Ian was moving on to be a Rolling Stones sideman.

That long association kept McLagan seeming like a big deal. The Faces and Small Faces had some pre-punk cool, so younger acts liked Frank Black and Paul Westerberg were thrilled to work with the guy. McLagan also went into the studio with the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan. He settled down (so to speak) in Austin, Texas and kept busy touring clubs as Ian McLagan & the Bump Band.

Here he is on The Late Show a few years ago. A guy like Ian McLagan was a big deal to Paul Schaffer, of course, but it’s also a nice reminder that Ian was rocking to the end–or at least until this past June, which was the last time we saw him. He looked set to live forever….

The new James Bond movie is called Spectre, and the 24th edition in the franchise has a great cast. As rumored, Christoph Waltz and Guardians of the Galaxy‘s David Bautista are two villains, along with the UK Sherlock series’ Andrew Scott. That’s a big deal. The recent series of Daniel Craig 007 epics have gotten some acclaim, but they haven’t been much fun when it comes to providing villains. For those who don’t remember, SPECTRE was the name of the international crime empire ran by Bond’s nemesis Ernst Stravro Blofeld.

Bringing back those guys is a step towards having more fun with the franchise. Here’s a scene from 1962’s Dr. No, as the title villain explains how SPECTRE works–and that it stands for Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion…

We’re also getting some new Bond Girls, of course. We already knew that Léa Seydoux was in the cast. Now we know that her character is named Madeleine Swann, which is kind of dull. At least it’s kind of a clever literary reference. The film also has Monica Bellucci as the ominously-named Luci Sciarra.

Let’s also note that Christoph Waltz isn’t playing a character named Blofeld, but he’s a prominent enough actor that people are already speculating that his character will eventually be revealed as the man who runs SPECTRE. That’s possible. Just keep in mind that Blofeld wasn’t even seen onscreen for a long time in the original Bond films. SPECTRE was part of Dr. No, but we never saw Blofeld. Then moviegoers only saw his hands and heard his voice in From Russia With Love and Thunderball. We might be in for a similar long reveal.

Now we’re just waiting to see who sings the theme song. Sam Smith is currently getting the most talk in the rumor mill.

Until then, here’s an official poster to keep us happy. And that’s November 6th, 2015, so at least this won’t be some kind of CGI spectacular…

It’s that special time of the year when the UK’s Love magazine runs their Advent Calendar at their very fashionable site–and lucky guys get a hot model for every day that we get closer to Christmas. Love has already offered up beauties like Miranda Kerr and Lily Aldridge for a hot December. Today’s entry is uniquely British, though, with Love serving up Lizzy Jagger swinging into the holidays in lingerie.

It was supposedly to be a joyous day in the Twin Cities on Wednesday with Torii Hunter returning to the Minnesota Twins–where, after al, he began his career. However, the fun ended when a reporter asked Hunter a political question. Hunter responded with some choice words of his own.

The beat writer was asking about Hunter’s endorsement of new Arkansas governor Asa Hutchinson. Specifically, the reporter was asking about Hutchinson’s views on same-sex marriage. Hunter wasn’t happy with the questions and said, “It’s not even baseball related. We can do that later, when I retire.” Hunter kind of had a point. Also, it was kind of creepy to hear the reporter trying to pressure Hunter by saying that a refusal to answer the reporter meant that Torii isn’t an “open, honest guy.”

There are going to be plenty of fans who flock to Target Field next summer to see Hunter back where he spent the first 11 years of his career. We can’t really fault the guy for not wanting to talk about much else–and it is kind of nice to see a baseball player being so amiable about insulting a reporter. We may not agree with Torri’s opinion on gay marriage, but, yeah, the guy has a point about this Mike guy…

The new James Bond Spectre car was introduced by Aston Martin as the DB10 this morning. There’s been a lot of new information on James Bond Spectre that’s been coming out today, and the Aston Martin is the most recent tidbit.

In a press release, Aston Martin revealed that the car was specifically designed for the movie and that only a total of ten of these cars will be produced–and there’s no telling how many they’ll destroy during the filming.

According to this very awesome Bond Car reference site, the DB10 will be the seventh variation of Aston Martin cars in the Bond series.

It’s been a bad season for the Philadelphia 76ers so far with 17 straight losses to begin the 2014-15 NBA season. Wednesday night saw the 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves do something that perfectly works for Philadelphia’s situation this season. The two teams lined up and began shooting at the wrong ends of the floor to start the game.

The officials finally figured it out and re-started the game from scratch. When all was said and done, the 76ers won the game 85-77 to improve to 1-17 on the season. Maybe the 76ers should look into turning that kind of wrong start into a regular thing.

Philadelphia would have tied the NBA record for most losses to start a season with another loss but was able to avoid that distinction with the win. Minnesota has to be wondering now about what they are doing when the Timberwolves lose to a team that didn’t have a single win on the season coming into the game. The two teams will play again on Jan. 30 in Philadelphia. Maybe the 76ers can make that their second win–and go the right direction in the process….

There’s a new music video out there doubling as a political ad for encouraging Hillary Clinton to run for President in 2016–and it’s incredibly bad enough to feel like a political dirty trick. You get all kinds of stereotypes that pander to the American heartland. You get a hokey country song that begins by talking about hindsight. You even get our proud male spokesperson literally breaking the metaphorical glass ceiling.

The whole thing simply adds up to a major cringefest, and it’s tough to imagine the Hillary supporter who’d sign off on this crappy video. There are plenty of Hillary supporters who are already kind of disgusted…

Take a look for yourself. The website promoting this Hillary Super PAC seems legit enough. It’s still okay to be suspicious that this is a plot to make Hillary Clinton supporters look like major idiots. And–if you can bear it–there’s an even worse one out there, too…
