Bristol Palin, one of the OG stars of MTV’s hit reality series Teen Mom, has announced that she has become a real estate agent. Palin is the daughter of former Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Palin released the following statement on Instagram to announce her career move:

Super excited to let everyone know what I’ve been working on for the past year. I signed on with the Ben Kinney Team (the #1 team) at Keller Williams Realty. The value and security of homeownership for been near and dear to my heart for the past decade. Homeownership, and the investment of owning a home, have been my biggest financial security blankers as a single mother. I purchased my first home — a foreclosed condo — nearly a decade ago, and have been buying and selling ever since. I cannot wait to help others in their journey of buying and selling real estate here in Austin, Texas!

Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Palin had appeared on numerous television shows such as The Secret Life Of An American Teenager, Dancing With The Stars, Sarah Palin’s Alaska, and Bristol Palin: Life’s A Tripp.

Palin, who now has three young children, got divorced from her husband Dakota Meyer in August 2018.

The Game Awards

The Game Awards honored and recognized some of the best games of 2018. But the Awards show does not only give awards, but it is also a place where developers and companies showcase some of the projects they have planned. Trailers are showcased from projects fans haven’t heard from in some time. There are announcements that gamers don’t expect as well. Here are all the surprises that shocked the gaming community.

Devil May Cry 5 Extended Trailer

Devil May Cry 5 has been on many gamers minds since its announcement at e3 2018. It is a series with a dedicated fanbase that had been eagerly anticipating when the next installment would come out (if it ever would). At the Game Awards, a trailer was released to gives fans a first-hand look at what they can expect. From the stunning graphics and the excitement of seeing beloved characters, DMC 5 promises to deliver on the high expectations. The trailer announces when the game will release, March 8, 2019, as well as when the demo goes live. Play the demo on December 7th, 2018.

Stranger Things 3: The Game

Fans of the popular Netflix series, Stranger Things have not heard much about the highly anticipated third season. It came as a big surprise for everyone when the creators of the hit show came onto the stage to announce their plans to release a Stranger Things game, centered around the third season. Stranger Things continues to draw on the nostalgia factor and is making the game 8-bit. It seems only fitting for the show that is set in the early 80s. Fans look forward to this game and we can only hope this is a sign that the third season is coming soon.

Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat shocked everyone. Ed Boon came out onto the stage in order to announce the Best Sports/Racing Game, but Boon had other plans. He is the co-creator of Mortal Kombat and Injustice: Gods Among Us. He surprised everyone by releasing a trailer for the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 11. After the success of the 10th installment of the series, fans of the popular fighting game waited eagerly for any news of the 11th. The wait is over as we got our first look at what we can expect from this franchise.

First DLC Character for Smash Revealed

This was a reveal no one was expecting. Super Smash Bros Ultimate was set to release midnight, after The Game Awards. A Smash direct occurred only a month where it was revealed there would be five DLC characters added to the roster after the game released. Fans of Smash were stunned when they saw the iconic leader of the Phantom Thieves from the hit game Persona 5. Once Joker held up the envelope with the wax seal of the Smash ball, everyone lost their minds. Nintendo and Sakurai promised to make this Smash the biggest and best it could possibly be and they’re delivering on that promise. With Joker from Persona 5 added to the roster who knows who else will be included in the battle.

The Game Awards 2018 has proven to not just be another awards show. It is also a show to keep an eye out for when it comes to games and their development. With all of these surprises we look forward to what The Game Awards will bring for next year.

The Video Game Awards was December 6th, and it came with a lot of surprises. Red Dead Redemption took home four awards, God of War brought home two awards and the title of Game of the Year, and more. Machester Police Department

Jennifer Glidden, a 50-year-old sixth-grade teacher in Manchester, New Hampshire, was arrested on Friday, December 7, for allegedly sending inappropriate emails to a teenage student under the age of 16-years-old.

According to reports, Glidden — who was a teacher at Parkside Middle School in New Hampshire — allegedly sent more than 100 inappropriate emails to an unidentified teenage student between November 2 and December 4. Authorities say that the emails “were sexual in nature.”

Glidden — who lives in Exeter, New Hampshire — was arrested at her home on the afternoon of Friday, December 7. Police say that Parkside Middle School officials alerted the school resource officer on Tuesday, December 4, that there was possible inappropriate activity between the teacher and student.

She has since been charged with certain use of computer services prohibited and was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail.  Her next court appearance in the Hillsborough County Superior Court-North is scheduled for Thursday, December 20.

Police have asked anyone with further information about Glidden or the case to contact authorities immediately.

As for why there has been such a significant increase in instances of teachers having sexual relationships with students, researchers believe that technology is to blame.

According to a report from the Texas Education Association, smartphones make easy for teachers to privately text and talk with students and also make it possible for teachers and students to share explicit images.

SESAME (Stop Educator Sexual Abuse Misconduct & Exploitation) President Terri Miller echoed that sentiment, stating “before cell phones, we knew who our kids were talking to” but today, “kids have their own phones, they’re taking them to bed, and parents need to watch more.”

Stanley has been one of many teachers to be charged for inappropriate conduct. Over the course of just a few months, teachers across the United States have been charged, tried, and convicted of various abuse and sex crimes.

The list goes on to include 22-year-old Oklahoma science teacher Hunter Day, 28-year-old teacher Megan Kotarski, 23-year-old history teacher Michelle Schiffer, 29-year-old Alyssia Marie Reddy, special education teacher Jordan Ondish and 28-year-old Samantha Fitzpatrick have all been allegedly carrying on inappropriate relationships with their students.

Most recently, teachers such as 29-year-old Haylie Smart, 25-year-old Alaina Ferguson, 26-year-old Amy Nowaczyk, and 32-year-old Laura Bucy were arrested and charged for similar crimes.

UFC

Brian Ortega showed off his toughness and heart on Saturday, December 8 against featherweight champion Max Holloway in the main event of UFC 231. Ortega was battered and beaten throughout four rounds before the doctor mercifully stepped in to stop the fight.

It was the first loss of Ortega’s professional career, and many were ready to see how he would respond after tasting defeat in such a brutal manner.

Well, we didn’t have to wait long.

Shortly after the fight, “T-City” took to social media to issue a statement on his loss and to detail the injuries suffered during the bout.

“Doctor stopped it and I agree. Broken nose and a broken thumb I was willing to die in there. Last night was Max’s night. I’ll be back,” Ortega wrote on Instagram along with a photo from his bloody war which earned a $50,000 bonus for Fight of the Night.

Ortega’s coach Rener Gracie also issued a statement on his fighter’s loss.

“When we arrived at the hospital, the first thing you said was ‘I’m sorry.’ My brother, you have nothing to be sorry about. You came from nothing and you competed on the highest level against one of the best p4p fighters in the world,” Gracie wrote.

“For four rounds, you took his best shots, but you never went down and you never stopped firing back. The heart you displayed last night could never be taught, and I’ve never been so proud to be your coach, your friend and your fan. You didn’t fail, Max prevailed. And if it was ever possible to win in defeat, you did it last night. I love you bro.”

For now, Ortega will have to heal up from the injuries he suffered at UFC 231 before ultimately making his return to action.

HBO

Sometimes, there are certain entries into the pop cultural zeitgeist that pass over fandom and into common knowledge. Shows such as The Sopranos, LOST, and Breaking Bad are previous examples of this phenomenon, as they reached such a high level of popularity that it almost became abnormal to not watch them. It’s safe to say, as it heads into it’s eighth and final season, that HBO’s Game Of Thrones has hit those same great heights of success.

Bigger and more expensive than any show to come before it, Game Of Thrones has grown into an experience that is quite unique in today’s age of television: scheduled viewing.

In the era of streaming and Netflix and HBO GO, most television is made to be consumed at the audience’s discretion. Want to watch your favorite show at 11 a.m. on a Tuesday? Go for it.

But not Game Of Thrones. If you don’t tune in to Game Of Thrones at 9 p.m. on a Sunday night, not only will you miss the discussion, but you risk spoiling it for yourself, as that aforementioned discussion is nearly impossible to avoid.

All of this is just a long way of saying that Game Of Thrones has achieved an almost unheard of level of popularity. In fact, the show has become so popular that educated researchers are taking the time to study it.

Game of Thrones characters who switch sides are 65% more likely to survive than those who are loyal, according to scientists. Researchers who watched all 67 episodes in the name of science have worked out which traits make the characters most likely to die.

‘Highborn’ characters – lords and ladies, those who change allegiances, and women who have the best odds of surviving the notoriously violent show. The study, published in medical journal Injury Epidemiology, has been done ahead of the final season, which is expected to be released next spring.

And it gives big-name characters including Cersei, Jaime and Tyrion Lannister, Jon Snow, and Bran, Sansa and Arya Stark a good chance of surviving until the end. Scientists from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, studied the deaths of 186 characters in the hit TV show, based on the novels of George RR Martin.

Perhaps most interesting is that the researchers found that women in the GoT universe are 1/5 less likely to die than men.

Game Of Thrones assuredly epic eighth and final season will premiere in April 2019. As for who my money is on to survive: no one. I got The Night King winning in a rout.

Critics’ Choice Awards

On Monday, December 10, 2018, the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) announced the list of nominations for the 24th annual Critics’ Choice Awards. Each year, the Critics’ Choice Awards are looked at as an accurate predictor of the Academy Awards.

HBO and Netflix lead the way with 20 nominations each, while “The Favourite” leads all film nominations with 14. “Black Panther” is also a standout in the film category with 12 nominations, followed by “First Man” with ten.

In the television categories, “The Americans,” “Escape At Dannemora,” and “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” lead the way with five nods each.

A new bill that could potentially revolutionize college tuition was proposed to the South Carolina legislative committee on Wednesday, Oct. 18th, 2018.

The legislative committee of South Carolina reviewed a bill that would temporarily freeze college tuition increases on Wednesday. Members of the committee applauded and praised this new bill.

The bill is designed to create a $125 million trust fund to ramp up state funding of colleges to enroll students who are in the state. For their part, colleges will have to freeze tuition for a year and a cap was set at any time of tuition increase to only 2.75% each year.

Sen. Vincent Sheheen, one of the committees who designed this bill said, “It seemed to me, it was time for a grand bargain,” Sheheen said The State. “South Carolina has the highest tuition rates in the Southeast and, last time I checked, the seventh-highest in the nation.”

South Carolina’s public colleges all unanimously vote yes for the bill.

With the bill soon in action, there are still a lot of details that still need to be planned.

For one, many people think that tuition increase restriction isn’t enough.

“If you really want to talk about how to reform this… we have to talk about cutting tuition, not just freezing it,” said Sen. Darrell Jackson. Even the president of the University of South Caroline recognizes the plight.

USC President Harris Pastides says,

“Let’s cap it at first, then every two years, then three, then four,” said Pastides. “Then we’ll be rolling it back someday.”

President Pastides argues that the only way for colleges to cut tuition to help students is if the state increases college funding. Since 2017, 15% of the state’s college fund has diminished to a measly 7% that angered many college administrators.

“There is no way for us to eliminate enough programs, or to fire enough people… to freeze tuition.”

For this school year, the University of South Carolina has increased tuition by 2.9%.

The committee is scheduled to meet next Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 1 p.m, to discuss more on this bill.

University Of Massachusetts Amherst

It’s consistently praised for a reason. UMass Dining is the largest university dining enterprise in the country, but they don’t sacrifice quality for quantity. They work hard to support the New England Food System and were the first American university to serve SPE-certified meals. Between 12 and 15 dishes from all corners of the globe are served every day. Most importantly, burger and taco trucks are open until midnight.

Virginia Tech

What sets VT dining apart is the sheer amount of options available. A number of cafes (Deet’s Place has 30 varieties of tea), a marketplace, 2 food trucks  The D2 at Dietrick Hall is one of the largest non-military dining halls in the US and has shops like a Brazilian churrascaria and a New York-style deli. Pizza hut, Blue Ridge Barbeque, Carvel, Dunkin Donuts, Chick-fil-A. Owens Food Court and Turner Place at Lavery Hall also house plenty of interesting stations. The Virginia Tech dining center’s website claims that the West End Market “was the first true marketplace-style dining operation on a university campus in the United States”.

This is another school that treats students to a lobster and steak dinner, and the word on the street is it’s sublime. RWU works with Bon Appétit Management to turn fresh, local and seasonal ingredients into mouth-watering meals, including oysters from the school hatchery. The “stonewall stuffer”, a Thanksgiving-themed wrap, is a favorite.

University Of San Diego

Chefs trained at the most prestigious culinary schools in the country serve delicious food every day at the Pavillion Dining food court and numerous food retailers on campus. PETA even gave USD dining an A+ rating for their wide selection of vegan options. But carnivores don’t get the short end of the stick- students can bring Embers, a custom built barbeque, wherever they choose to post up and cookout. Caffeine-addicts can also rejoice over the self-serve cold brew tap wall.

Pitzer College

The benefit of attending a college with barely a thousand students is, among other things, receiving individualized attention. At Pitzer, this principle also extends to food. A celebrated chef helms the single dining hall on campus, where the staff makes meals from scratch and often serves food within 48 hours of harvest.  Some options that caught our eye on a recent menu were eggplant cannelloni with tofu ricotta and roasted pepper sauce and sweet potato latkes with applesauce.

Boston University

Every semester for the past 20 years, visiting chefs have spiced up traditional menus with their own creations. The Rhetty To Go delivery program allows students to schedule a delivery a month in advance and offers a flu meal for sick students who can’t get out of bed to go to a dining hall. and the Community Supported Agriculture Program allows students to buy a share of a local farm’s produce during the growing season.

For decades, Sister Mary Margaret Kreuper and Sister Lana Chang worked at St. James Catholic School and O’Gorman Center. They were beloved by the community and the students as prominent pillars of education and religion. Many years later everyone found out what these nuns’ have been doing in secret when they had worked at the school.

Who Are These Sisters?

Sister Mary Margaret had been the previous principal for 28 years before she retired in June. Sister Lana had been working as an eighth-grade teacher for 20 years. She also retired in the same year.

The two nuns had admitted to embezzling a whopping $500,000 from the Catholic school.

“It is with much sadness that I am informing families of St. James School that an internal investigation has revealed that, over a period of years, Sister Mary Margaret Kreuper and Sister Lana Chang have been involved in the personal use of a substantial amount of School funds,” Monsignor Michael Meyers wrote in a letter.

Church officials were alerted to the potential embezzlement when they were conducting an audit. Due to Sister Mary Margaret retiring there was a change of leadership in the school. It is routine for an audit to take place during the transition.

It is believed that the two nuns, allegedly, used the money to pay for traveling and gambling expenses. It was well-known that these two Sisters, but they claimed the money comes from a “rich uncle.”

“Sister Mary Margaret and Sister Lana have expressed to me and asked that I convey to you, the deep remorse they each feel for their actions and ask for your forgiveness and prayers,” Meyers wrote in the letter. “They and their Order pray that you have not lost trust or faith in the educators and administrators of the school.”

The church and archdiocese chose to not press charges against the sisters. However, ABC News has reported that due to the ongoing investigation a spokesperson for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles said they will pursue a criminal case.

Sister Mary Margaret and Sister Lana are still with the order the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. The order will pay full restitution to the school.

A newly-released viral video that shows New York City Police Department officers attempting to remove Jazmine Headley’s 1-year-old son from her grasp has sparked outrage online. The incident happened at the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program office in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, on Friday, December 7.

According to reports from Nyashia Ferguson — the woman who posted the video on Facebook — Headley, 23, was seated on the floor of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program office in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn because there were no available chairs. The incident happened on Friday, December 7.

After reportedly getting into a verbal dispute with a security guard, the police were called. Following their arrival, the shocking video shows NYPD officers and HRA security officers attempted to take Headley’s 1-year-old son away from her so she could be arrested.

Headley was eventually arrested and charged before being held without bail at Rikers Island and barred from seeing her 1-year-old son Damone. She has been charged with resisting arrest, acting in a manner injurious to a child, obstructing governmental administration and trespassing. Additionally, the New York City Police Department said that Headley refused medical treatment for herself and her son.

Following the incident, 1-year-old Damon was placed in the care of a relative.

The Police Department called Friday’s incident “troubling” in a statement on Sunday, and said officers had responded to a 911 call for harassment. When the officers arrived, security guards told them that Ms. Headley had refused to leave.

The police officers told Ms. Headley to leave “numerous times,” the police said, and after she refused, the security guards “brought the woman to the floor.” Police officers then tried to arrest her; despite her resistance, she was taken into custody, the police said.

Deputy Commissioner Phillip Walzak, a police spokesman, said the officers involved are all assigned to the 84th Precinct and remained on full-duty status. He declined to give their names or say whether they followed department protocols, citing its investigation.

The department is investigating the incident with the city Human Resources Administration, which administers public benefits. A spokeswoman for Allied Universal, the parent company of the security firm visible on security guards’ patches, FJC Security, did not respond to requests for comment.

While Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams has called for the charges against Headley to be dropped, the Mayor’s Office has yet to make a statement on the video, while the New York City Police Department called the incident “troubling.”

Police are currently searching for Colorado woman Kelsey Berreth, who has been missing since Thanksgiving Day.

According to reports from authorities, the 29-year-old Berreth was last seen at a Safeway supermarket near Woodland Park, Colorado, wearing a white shirt, gray sweatshirt, and blue pants. She is described as being as 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 110 pounds.

Furthermore, authorities have said that her cell phone was pinged near Gooding, Idaho, which is located about 800 miles from her home in Woodland Park, Colorado.

Berreth, a pilot & flight instructor who is a mother of a 1-year-old, is described by her family as being “responsible” and “grounded”, which makes her disappearance unusual. Additionally, police say they found Kelsey’s her suitcase and makeup untouched and her two cars and small plane where she last parked them.

At this time, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is also investigating Berreth’s disappearance. Additionally, The Woodland Park Police Department plans to put out a nationwide alert to be on the lookout for Berreth.

Furthermore, Woodland Park police Commander Chris Adams said that authorities aren’t ruling anything out.

“The public has helped some of the cases I’ve worked,” he explained. “We couldn’t have done it without assistance from the public.” Garretson says the whole thing just doesn’t feel real.

“You see things like this on the news but you feel separate from it because it’s always so far away,” she said. “It feels stupid to say that because it’s what people always say.” The victim’s advocate says she’s still hopeful, especially now that her cousin’s face is going around the Tri-Cities.

“Probably someone has seen her they just didn’t know this was someone who was being looked for,” she said. “So she’s just… missing.”

Following Berreth’s disappearance, a Facebook page was created to keep people updated on the search.

Emergency crews in Washington County, Missouri, are currently responding to the scene of what may be a live pipe bomb. The potential pipe bomb was reportedly found in Mineral Point, Missouri.

The Bomb Disposal Unit and K-9 Unit are currently in the scene. At this time, it has not been confirmed whether or not the item that was found is actually a pipe bomb.

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, an investigator with the Missouri Fire Marshal’s Office located what appears to be a live pipe bomb on the morning of Monday, December 10.

At this time, the area of Springtown Road and Vintage Road has been blocked off while the St. Louis Bomb Disposal Unit handles the situation.

The reports of a pipe bomb in Washington County, Missouri, is just the latest in a string of violence-related incidents — stabbings, shootings, lockdowns, bomb threats, etc — that have plagued our nation over the last couple of years.

Police have asked civilians to avoid the area at this time while the matter is dealt with.

Shadow Ridge Middle School in Thornton, Colorado, has been evacuated due to a bomb threat.

At this time, the Thorton Police Department said that they are currently conducting a search of Shadow Ridge Middle School and that students will be reunited with parents at 1500 E. 128th Ave.

The students and staff of Shadow Ridge Middle School are not thought to be in danger at this time, as they were all safely evacuated from the school.

The Thorton Police Department released a statement about the bomb threat and evacuation on Twitter at 1:59 p.m.:

“Shadow Ridge Middle School being evacuated due to bomb threat. School search being conducted now. Student reunification will be at 1500 E. 128th Ave. Updates as investigation continues,” the tweet read.

Shadow Ridge Middle School is located at 12551 Holly St in Thornton, Colorado, and is a part of the Adams 12 Five Star Schools district.

Julian von Abele, a white student at Columbia University, was feeling awfully comfortable when harassing a group of students of color on campus in a recent video that was captured on camera and then shared on social. The sophomore can be seen and heard shouting about how “white people are the best thing that happened to the world.”

The incident occurred on Sunday, December 9 outside of the campus eatery, according to the Columbia Spectator.

“White people are the best thing ever,” von Abele can be heard shouting. “I love myself and I love my people…F–k yeah! White people!” He continued spewing nonsense like “We invented science and industry and you want to tell us to stop because, ‘Oh my God, we’re so bad!

“We saved billions of people from starvation, we built modern civilization! White people are the best thing that ever happened to the world!”

The Twitter user who shared the video, @aalanasir, urged the Columbia community to identify the racist student.

“Disappointed, but not surprised,” she wrote. “Twitter, do your thing.”

After the video — which has more than 1 million views on social media — came to light, the deans of Columbia College, the School of General Studies, and the School of Engineering and Applied Science denounced von Abele’s actions.

In a statement sent to students Sunday evening, the deans of Columbia College, the School of General Studies, and the School of Engineering and Applied Science denounced the “racially charged incident,” and invited undergraduates to an open reflection on Monday night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Lerner Hall. Barnard administrators also emailed students reiterating the importance of campus safety in regard to diversity and inclusion.

The Black Student Organization and the Student Organization of Latinxs released statements in solidarity with the students harassed last night. A statement released by Black Students’ Organization referenced how von Abele also physically grabbed another student during this encounter and asked them if black women like to date white men.

While the behavior was denounced, students who were in the group that was being harassed say they hope the school takes further action. As it should.

Yes, Game Of Thrones may technically be a television show, but in terms of production, scale, budget, marketing, and general hype, it’s created a category of its own that exists somewhere in between prestige television drama and action-packed blockbuster cinema.

While shows such as The Sopranos, LOST, and Breaking Bad have come close to these type of cinematic levels, none of reached the heights of Game Of Thrones, which is literally the most watched show in the history of television.

And because of that insane popularity, HBO and the Game Of Thrones-makers have had to employee strategies used by major movie outlets such as Marvel Studios in order to keep their secrets safe, such as releasing “fake spoilers” as a form of misdirection.

Richard Dormer, the actor who plays the one-eyed, flaming-sword, six-times-reborn Beric Dondarrion (arguably one of the coolest characters in the show, really) told Sky News that some fake spoilers are released on purpose to throw fans off the scent.

“I suppose it’s good for the show because it gets people talking, and sometimes I suppose they even leak stuff on purpose. It’s all good for the show, but we find it kind of annoying because we want fans to see it on screen and go, ‘Oh my god, I can’t believe it.’ You don’t want it to be spoiled, you want it to be a piece of entertainment that is constantly keeping you on your toes,” Dormer said.

St. Joseph County Police Department

Aaron Trejo, 16, has been formally charged with murder and feticide in connection to the death of 17-year-old Mishawaka High School student Breana Rouhselang, who was a cheerleader and softball player at the school. Despite being 16-years-old, he has been charged as an adult.

What Happened?

According to reports, Rouhselang’s body was found on Sunday, December 9, in a dumpster behind Pasquale Rulli’s Restaurant in Mishawaka, Indiana.

An autopsy found that Rouhselang died from multiple stab wounds and that strangulation was occurring prior to death. Additionally, she was found to be pregnant.

Trejo, a football player at Mishawaka High School, was taken into custody and was held on a preliminary murder charge before being formally charged with murder and feticide. Following his arrest, Trejo was held without bond and is scheduled to be arraigned in court on Tuesday, December 11.

The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit was in charge of the homicide investigation.

At Sunday afternoon’s press conference, officials said Trejo would be charged as an adult Monday morning. Rouhselang was a cheerleader and softball player at Mishawaka. Her family reported her missing just hours before her body was discovered. When police arrived at the 400 block of Battell Street around 4:30 a.m. Sunday, they found evidence of a violent crime before ultimately discovering Rouhselang’s body in the dumpster.

Shortly after finding her body, police interviewed Trejo and took him into custody on the preliminary murder charge. Investigators said at a press conference they believe Rouhselang and Trejo knew each other from the football team, but police did not elaborate on their connection to one another.

“The thing is that most of us are fathers, and any senseless death is very upsetting, but when you’re talking about young people, it’s more so,” St. Joseph County Deputy Prosecutor Chris Fronk said. “Victims’, suspects’ families, those are the kind of people we keep our focus on, because they didn’t choose this.”

Who Is Aaron Trejo?

Aaron Trejo is a 16-year-old Mishawaka High School student in Mishawaka, Indiana, that was arrested and charged with the murder of 17-year-old Mishawaka High School Breana Rouhselang on Monday, December 10.

Mishawaka High School released the following statement about the alleged murder:

“The Mishawaka High School family suffered a terrible tragedy today. School administrators are working with authorities in the investigation of the death of 17-year-old Breana Rouhselang.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family members and friends who have been affected by this great loss. Our focus now is to offer all of the support possible to our staff and students.

There will be grief counselors available at Mishawaka High School first thing in the morning, and throughout the day. School will be open, and we believe it is best for all students to come and be around those who care for them.”

A GoFundMe page has since been created to help pay for Rouhselang’s funeral expenses.

Breana Rouhselang, a 17-year-old cheerleader, softball player, and student at Mishawaka High School, has been identified as the young woman whose body was found in a dumpster behind Pasquale Rulli’s Restaurant in Mishawaka, Indiana on Sunday, December 9.
