FIFA is finally back with the release of FIFA 19!

Developed by EA Vancouver and EA Bucharest as part of Electronic Arts’ FIFA series, FIFA 19 will be the first in the series to feature the UEFA club competitions, including the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League.

While Martin Tyler and Alan Smith return as regular commentators, a new commentary team of Derek Rae and Lee Dixon have been added and will feature in the UEFA competitions mode. Furthermore, FIFA’s campaign mode “The Journey” will continue will the third and final installment of the series, called “The Journey: Champions”.

Naturally, everyone wants to know which of the teams are going to be the best, and a lot of the usual suspects occupy the top 7 teams to use! Check them out below!

7. Liverpool

To the average FIFA player, Liverpool might not seem like a Top 7 team at first glance (those defensive ratings aren’t great), but with that sort of firepower in the attack, Liverpool can hang with anyone in the game.

6. Paris Saint-Germain

Yes, they have Edinson Cavani, Neymar Jr., and Kylian Mbappe, but the Ligue 1 champion’s defense isn’t good enough to put them in the top 5.

5. Juventus

While Juventus were already one of the best teams in the world without Ronaldo, the addition of the Portuguese goalscorer gives them an extra edge in FIFA, as Ronaldo is one of only two 95-rated players in the game.

4. Bayern Munich

While not being as widely heralded as their Spanish and English counterparts, Bayern Munich is once again one of the strongest teams in world football and therefore FIFA.

3. Manchester City

Despite arguably being the best Premier League of all-time, Manchester City still isn’t the best team in the world, as they have still yet to win the Champions League, but more importantly, sit behind the La Liga titans when it comes to FIFA ratings.

2. Real Madrid

The three-time defending Champions League winners may have lost one of the world’s best players in Cristiano Ronaldo, but with the ability to plug in the 91-rated Isco, Los Blancos haven’t lost a step when it comes to FIFA.

Barcelona is complete from head to toe, with an elite goalie, two world-class center backs, solid fullbacks, a complete midfield, and of course, Leo Messi and Luis Suarez leading the way up top.

Grace Van Patten is an American actress who is best known for her appearances in various Netflix projects.

During her career as an actress, Van Patten has appeared in two films distributed by Netflix: Tramps (2016) and The Meyerowitz Stories (2017), and Netflix’s miniseries Maniac.

Grace, who is the daughter of director Timothy Van Patten and niece of actor Dick Van Patten, grew up in New York City and attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School.

Her first acting role came when she was just eight years old after she appeared in an episode of the HBO drama The Sopranos. Grace got the role on The Sopranos because her father Timothy was a director on the show.

After taking community classes and auditioning for roles, Van Patten’s feature film debut came in the Netflix romantic comedy Tramps.

In 2018, Van Patten had a mainstream breakthrough when she appeared in the Netflix series Maniac alongside Emma Stone and Jonah Hill.

Wake Forest University has suspended the Psi Delta chapter of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity due to reports of unapproved parties and alleged sexual assaults at the fraternity house.

According to a statement from Wake Forest spokeswoman Katie Neal, the university suspended the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity on September 2 — one day after the fraternity held an unregistered party at its house at 1101 Polo Road. Wake Forest code of conduct requires all fraternities and social groups that serve alcohol at gatherings to register their parties with the university ahead of time.

Due to the suspension, the Dela Kappa Epsilon fraternity may not function or participate in chapter-related meetings, recruitment, social functions, or activities on or off Wake Forest University’s campus.

Furthermore, if the fraternity violates the terms of their suspension, individuals and/or the chapter may be charged with additional violations of the Student Conduct Code.

This interim suspension is the result of an alleged incident on September 1, 2018. Specifically, it was reported that the fraternity hosted an unregistered party at the chapter house located at 1101 Polo Road. Since that incident, the university received additional reports of unregistered parties hosted by Delta Kappa Epsilon.

The organization was placed on interim suspension out of concern for the safety and general welfare of the community. The investigation into the events on September 1 is underway. The interim suspension will remain in effect until the investigation is complete and next steps are identified in writing by the Office of the Dean of Students.

Of recent concern, the Wake Forest University Police Department received two separate reports on September 16 of alleged sexual assaults at 1101 Polo Road, also known as the Delta Kappa Epsilon House, on September 14. University Police officials do not know if the two anonymous reports are about one alleged incident or two separate alleged incidents. It is also unknown at this time if the alleged incidents are individual or organizational in nature. After evaluating the criteria outlined by The Clery Act, University Police and the Title IX Office determined these reports warranted a timely warning which was sent by email to the university community on September 17.

Delta Kappa Epsilon was established at Wake Forest in 1970 and is one of 11 fraternities at the school.

This is the latest major fraternity or sorority lawsuit, investigation, suspension or closure in the last year, as schools such as Indiana University, the University of Michigan, Ohio State University, Texas State, Florida State, Ball State, Louisiana State and Penn State have all suspended fraternities in the wake of hazing and alcohol deaths.

These reports come amidst similar allegations that have been made against fraternities nationwide, including Sigma Alpha Epsilon at East Carolina University, who was shut down for hazing and the Lambda Chi Alpha chapter at the University of Arkansas which has been accused of taking sexually explicit photographs of women without their permission.

In response to incidents like these, fraternities such Phi Kappa Psi have made numerous changes to their code of conduct in an effort to address the issues that have arisen. In addition, schools such as Texas State, West Virginia University, and Penn State University have introduced new Greek Life rules to try and prevent these problems.

Emily Weinman, the 20-year-old mother who was assaulted by a police officer at a Wildwood, New Jersey beach in June, has been charged after refusing a plea deal. Weinman previously refused the plea deal in July.

Weinman, a 20-year-old from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was indicted and charged with assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, throwing bodily fluids, and obstruction on Tuesday, September 18. She was indicted by Cape May County grand jury and now faces trial.

According to reports, Weinman was with a friend at Wildwood Beach during Memorial Day weekend when officer Thomas Cannon and his partner officer Robert Jordan questioned the two underage women about unopened bottles of alcohol near them.

Weinman then claimed the alcohol belonged to her aunt and refused to give the cops her identity. She then shoved Cannon and he punched her twice in the head. Weinman was with her 18-month-old daughter at the time of the incident.

At this time, there is no word on when Weinman’s trial will be.

Authorities allege that she attacked and spit on the officers. The grand jury indicted Weinman on two counts of aggravated assault on police officers, resisting arrest, throwing bodily fluids, and obstruction, according to court officials. Her lawyer, Stephen Dicht, fired back, saying the cops involved should be the ones on trial.

“We welcome the chance to vindicate Emily and show that police are the culprit in this case, not her,” he told The Post.

Weinman didn’t spit on the police officers — she was simply trying to get sand out of her mouth, he said. During the arrest footage, Weinman appears to pass a Breathalyzer test but then lashes out at Cannon when he asks for her name.

“You’re mad because you thought we were drinking,” she says, according to video.

“OK, that’s it — I’m done with you,” he says, then asks his partner for handcuffs.

Weinman backs away, shouting, “Don’t touch me!” She is later shown pushing the cop before he wrestles her to the ground by her ponytail. “You’re choking me!” she screams.

The video quickly went viral on social media, with many believing that Cannon and Jordan, who were seasonal special officers, were at fault. However, the officers were cleared of wrongdoing after authorities reviewed that video and police body-cam footage.

Warner Bros. has released the final full trailer for the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald, and if this last teaser is to be believed, then this movie is going to be much better than the first one.

The second film in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, The Crimes Of Grindelwald introduces us to Jude Law’s portrayal of Dumbledore and Johnny Depp’s (controversial inclusion notwithstanding) villainous Grindelwald.

The Fantastic Beast series, which follows Newt Scamander, is a prequel to the famed Harry Potter series and is set in New York City 70 years before Harry’s story begins.

Cobie Smulders, born Jacoba Francisca Maria Smulders on April 3, 1982, is a Canadian actress and model who is best known for her role as Robin Scherbatsky in the comedy sitcom How I Met Your Mother and S.H.I.E.L.D agent Maria Hill in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While she is best known for playing Robin Scherbatsky, the love interest of main character Ted Mosby, in How I Met Your Mother, Smulders has also starred in The Avengers (2012), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) as Maria Hill.

Deborah Ramirez, a 53-year-old former Yale University classmate of embattled Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, claims that Kavanaugh once exposed himself to her at a dorm room party and forced her to touch his penis without her consent while the two were at school together.

According to a report from The New Yorker, Ramirez — who now lives in Colorado working with an organization that supports domestic violence victims — says the alleged sexual assault happened during the 1983-84 school year when Kavanaugh was a Yale freshman. The alleged incident reportedly happened in a dorm in Lawrence Hall in Yale’s Old Campus.

Ramirez has asked for the FBI to investigate. Kavanaugh has since denied the allegations and the White House has released the following statement:

“This 35-year-old, uncorroborated claim is the latest in a coordinated smear campaign by the Democrats designed to tear down a good man. This claim is denied by all who were said to be present and is wholly inconsistent with what many women and men who knew Judge Kavanaugh at the time in college say. The White House stands firmly behind Judge Kavanaugh.”

Christine Blasey Ford, the first woman to accuse Kavanaugh of sexual assault committed to testifying about her own allegations before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, September 27.

At a press conference on Tuesday, September 25, press secretary Sarah Sanders said that the White House is open to having Ramirez testify alongside the first accuser and Kavanaugh before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, September 27.

Alexandra King is an Instagram model and the ex-girlfriend of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. King made headlines during the 2018-19 NFL regular season after celebrating a knee injury Garoppolo suffered. In a since deleted Instagram post, King posted the word “Karma” with a smiley face emoji after Garoppolo went down.

King and Garoppolo were linked together this weekend and photos continued to surface on social media, though Garoppolo denied any relationship.

Apparently that stung for King, because she was quick to comment on the 26-year-old signal-caller’s misfortune. Garoppolo has since been seen out on dates with porn star Kiara Mia and was signed to a blockbuster contract, so something tells us he will be just fine.

It’s not hard to figure out what the freshmen 15 is or why incoming college students should be worried about it. Let us explain, the freshmen 15 is a term used to express how much a freshman eats and gains during their first year of college. It is real, freshmen do gain weight during their first year of college. However, there are some lies to it. Yes, they may gain weight, but not every freshman gains 15 pounds each. Here are the real truths to the freshmen 15.

Once you get to college, you start to see how hungry you often are, especially during the times you are studying or lazily watching Netflix. You get tired and don’t care what you put in your body. And of course all college dining halls have some bomb desserts that you always need to have every single night, sometimes twice a day, maybe three. But, you don’t notice the food building up in your daily diet, the snacks, cookies, brownies, soda, French fries, there are never signs of any veggies. This out of control eating is the cause of the freshmen 15.

But this is where the truth comes out about the freshmen 15. Not everyone will gain a total of 15 pounds. Studies are showing that only about 50 percent of students will gain up to 4 to 10 pounds. And it’s just about 5 percent of the whole freshmen class that gain around 15 pounds. It’s true that freshmen do gain weight, but it’s not in a total amount of 15 pounds. It varies on how many extra calories they are consuming and how active they are.

The freshmen 15 is a scary term to warn freshmen that you will gain weight. Some people over exaggerate the freshmen 15 and have renamed it the freshmen 50. That term is not real; no person can gain 50 pounds in one year unless they really tried. But, the reason why students exaggerate this term is because it is true, you do gain weight during your freshmen year. Overall, the false facts in the name is the number 15. You may gain 15 pounds or you will gain less. It’s very rare you could gain more. But, that doesn’t mean you should be eating a mountain of cookies for every meal. That’s when the freshmen 50 will come true. Be smart and don’t be a victim of the freshmen 15.

Netflix announced the “Making A Murderer” Part 2 premiere date and fans of the true-life crime series now know when we will see the latest updates on the cases of Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey. The first season of the series was a blockbuster hit for Netflix, and now the eager crowd will be treated to 10 new episodes on Oct. 19.

“Steven and Brendan, their families and their legal and investigative teams have once again graciously granted us access, giving us a window into the complex web of American criminal justice,” creators Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos said in a statement, via Entertainment Weekly.

“Building on Part 1, which documented the experience of the accused, in Part 2, we have chronicled the experience of the convicted and imprisoned, two men each serving life sentences for crimes they maintain they did not commit. We are thrilled to be able to share this new phase of the journey with viewers.”

Gina Murry, a 32-year-old female teacher at an East Los Angeles high school, has been accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old student. Felony charges were filed against Murry on Monday, September 24.

According to sheriff’s department jail records, she was arrested on September 5 and was released the same day on $250,000 bail.

Murry, a teacher who taught at the East Los Angeles Renaissance Academy at Esteban E. Torres High School, is facing six counts of unlawful sexual intercourse and four counts each of committing a lewd act on a child, oral copulation of a person under 16 and sexual penetration by a foreign object.

She is set to be arraigned on Wednesday, September 26. If convicted of all charges, Murry faces up to 17 years in California state prison.

Prosecutors allege Murry assaulted the boy during a two-month period that began in May. If convicted as charged, she could be sentenced to a maximum of 17 years in prison.

Murry was “reassigned from the school” and parents were notified, according to the Los Angeles Unified School District. Further detail on the defendant’s employment history or the nature of her reassignment was not immediately available.

“The safety and well-being of our students remains our top priority,” an LAUSD statement says. “These allegations are disturbing and undermine our continuing efforts to provide a secure learning environment for all of our students.”

Murry is just the latest teacher to be charged for inappropriate conduct. Over the course of just a few months, educators across the country were arrested for entering into an inappropriate relationship with their students, Tennessee teacher Janet Smothers, LaToya Parker, Florida teacher Caroline Lawson, 26-year-old Allyson Moran and Katherine Ross Ridenhour were all arrested on similar charges. A woman named Kayla Sprinkles was arrested in North Carolina for similar sexual crimes.

The list goes on to include 22-year-old Oklahoma science teacher Hunter Day, 28-year-old teacher Megan Kotarski, 23-year-old history teacher Michelle Schiffer, 29-year-old Alyssia Marie Reddy, special education teacher Jordan Ondish and 28-year-old Samantha Fitzpatrick have all been allegedly carrying on inappropriate relationships with their students.

34-year-old Miranda Nicole Pauley was charged with similar crimes, Nancy Leigh Ann Brann, a former Christian school teacher, was arrested for having sex with a student, Coine Audiat pleaded no contest to having sex with a minor in 2016 and 23-year-old Darci Lake was arrested for an inappropriate relationship. 27-year-old Brittany Zamora from Arizona was arrested on similar charges. Keri Hoffman, 35, was also arrested for an alleged relationship with a student. Similarly, 29-year-old Tiffany Ranweiler-Oblander and 33-year-old Maren Oates were arrested on similar charges.

Most recently, 29-year-old Haylie Smart and 25-year-old Alaina Ferguson were charged with similar crimes.

UFC 229 is just around the corner, with a highly-anticipated lightweight championship bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor set to take place on Oct. 6 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ahead of the pay-per-view, the Nevada State Athletic Commission announced the referee and judge assignments for the big night.

For the main event, none other than veteran referee Herb Dean will be the third man in the cage.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission today voted unanimously during a meeting in Las Vegas to appoint Dean for the title fight. Dean will be paid $1,900 for the job.

Judges assigned for the title bout are Derek Cleary, Sal D’Amato and Junichiro Kamijo who each will receive $1,600.

Conor McGregor last fought in the UFC on November 12, 2016, defeating Eddie Alvarez to claim the UFC lightweight championship. At the time of his big win, McGregor became the first fighter in UFC history to hold two titles in two different weight classes simultaneously; he was also the featherweight champion at the time.

Since that fight, McGregor was stripped of both belts, welcomed his first child to the world, and dabbled in the boxing world for a superfight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. Now, he is finally ready to step back into the cage to attempt to reclaim the title that he believes is still his.

Nurmagomedov, meanwhile, claimed the vacant UFC lightweight title at UFC 223 on April 7, 2018 in Brooklyn, New York. Nurmagomedov scored a unanimous decision victory win over Al Iaquinta in the main event. Khabib was initially scheduled to fight Tony Ferguson for the title, but the bout fell through in the final days leading up to the event and Iaquinta stepped up on short notice.

UFC 229 takes place Saturday, Oct. 6 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The UFC 229 main card will air on pay-per-view, with preliminary bouts on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Along with the main event between Nurmagomedov and McGregor, other bouts currently scheduled include Sergio Pettis vs. Jussier Formiga in a battle of top flyweight contenders, former Invicta FC champion Michelle Waterson vs. Felice Herrig, Ovince Saint Preux vs. Dominick Reyes, Ryan LaFlare vs. Tony Martin, and Lina Lansberg vs. Yana Kunitskaya.

Marshfield Police Department

Allen Warner, a 47-year-old man accused of killing his estranged wife Shana Warner, sparked a regional manhunt after Shana Warner was found shot in her car. Warner then fled the scene on foot and disappeared into the woods. Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz said Warner was considered to be “armed and dangerous” but he was eventually taken into police custody on Monday evening.

According to NECN, police in Marshfield tweeted, “Thanks to everyone for your vigilance, patience and cooperation” shortly after his arrest.

Warner was arrested in Whitman but will be transferred back to Marshfield.

What Happened?

CBS reports Warner was chasing Shana Warner in a car on Monday evening. She called 911 for help, but was later found shot in her car. She was rushed to South Shore Hospital before ultimately dying from the gunshot wounds at just 48 years old. Warner was reportedly in the area for a few days searching for his wife to confront her.

“He had been skulking around the area days before this in attempts to locate her, we believe,” Tavares said. Someone called Marshfield Police five days ago to report a suspicious person on School Street who was later identified as Warner. “At the time he was wearing a camouflage rain jacket and he stated he was out collecting cans. There was no criminal activity involved at that point.”

“Court docs show Shana and Allen Warner got married in 2008. She filed for divorce 3 times. The first in 6/11. She wrote he was ‘physically and verbally abusive due to his drug use behavior,'” a tweet from NBC Boston’s Susan Tran read.

“This is just another example of a despicable, cowardly act of domestic violence. It won’t be tolerated,” Chief Tavares told reporters Tuesday.

A neighbor who knew Warner well described the allegations against him as “out of character.”

“The Mind of Jake Paul,” an eight-part documentary focusing on the life of YouTube star Jake Paul and directed by fellow YouTube Shane Dawson, is set to premiere on Tuesday, Sept. 25. The documentary follows Paul and gives an all-access look at his every day life leading up to his pay-per-view boxing match against Deji in August.

Dawson has previously directed The Real Truth About TanaCon and The Secret World of Jeffree Star. Combined, the two trailers have more than 100 million views. Both of the previous docuseries were three parts, making “The Mind of Jake Paul” his biggest project yet.

“I know it’s controversial but i really wanna try more things like this on my channel,” Dawson said when he officially announced the documentary earlier this month. “I wanna try things i’m genuinely fascinated by and interested in. The ups and downs of Jake Paul’s life and persona is something I would LOVE to see from the inside.

“I’ve never done anything like this before,” Dawson says in the trailer’s opening shot. “This is making me f-cking crazy. Now I get it. Now I understand. I understand why Jake is crazy. Because nobody wants to be completely honest, right? And now I’m just f-cked.”

Anna Dovgalyuk, a 20-year-old Russian student, has been making the rounds on the internet for viral stunts. She previously flashed her underwear on the public transportation to protest “upskirting,” and recently poured bleach onto a man’s groin to try to stop “manspreading.”

“I am a social activist who advocates for women’s rights and against discrimination in any form,” she said while speaking to the Daily Mail.

In her previous viral stunt, Dovgalyuk was accused of using actors to stage the video. However, she denied those claims and admitted that the stunt was real. Her latest stunt included pouring 30 liters of a mixture of water and bleach onto the laps of men who she thought were “sitting aggressively” on the metro.

“This solution is 30 times more concentrated than the mixture used by housewives when doing the laundry,” she said. “It eats colours in the fabric in a matter of minutes – leaving indelible stains.”

Anna is a studying law at St. Petersburg State University and is a former Miss Federation 2017.

When we were younger, figures of authorities have often told us to get off our computers to go outside and play, criticizing the adverse effects electronics have on us. But that may not be the case today. As technology advances, we find computers to be more and more of an essential asset to our lives. What is Coding?

Coding is a set of instructions computers need to operate. It involves tasks such as analysis, creating algorithms, managing the accuracy of it, and the implementation of algorithms in programming languages. In 2015, seven million job openings were in occupations that required applicants to know how to code. Today, jobs that require coding is growing faster than what the market anticipated.

Coding is an excellent skill to have. It is spread out in many expertise such as the finance, science, medical, and transportation industry. On top of that, many leaders today are taking the initiative in making sure future generation acquire such skills. Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg has rolled out new technology in schools called CodeFWD that allows students to program a robotic toy to move. CodeFWD provides coding tutorials online for educators and students, rewarding them with a Bolt Robot if they finish the tutorials.

If you’re interested in having coding be a part of your career, you can become a professional computer programmer. The surge of technological advances has led to skill shortages in many areas, making it increasingly hard for employers to find programmers. In a study done by Tech Partnership, they found that between the third quarter of 2015 and the second quarter of 2016, there have been 7,000 cybersecurity jobs being advertised in the UK, a number that is 100% higher than the number five years ago.

With the heavy demand for computer programmers, finding a job in that field wouldn’t be too hard! One enticing element about programming is also the pay that comes with it. According to a BLS report in 2016, the median annual wage for computer programmers was $79,840 while the veterans of that field making around $130,360. A six-figure salary like that will almost achieve everything you have on your bucket list!
