Applying for jobs is always scary. One bad interview or one bad tie could make or break your entire life. It almost makes you wish someone could appear out of nowhere and help get your name out there. Well, NASCAR will do just that with a new promotion with the help of the Natural Light beer brand!

How is NASCAR going to help you get a job?

During a nationally televised NASCAR event in September. South Point 400 in Vegas, one car is going to be plastered with someone’s resume, including their experience, skills, head-shot and contact information, all for the entire country (and potential employers) to see. The lucky car will be Chris Buescher’s #37 car, which Natural Light, also known as Natty Beer, is currently sponsoring.

Now, I know what you are thinking. What is my future boss doesn’t watch racing? Well, they’ve planned ahead for that. Natty Beer has already conducted a survey of over 1,000 hiring managers, with the help of Censuswide, and have already collected information on who is looking to hire some entry-level workers, who is calling in for interviews and all that good stuff. Besides, would you even want to work for someone who doesn’t like racing? Of course not!

Wait, how do I apply?

If you are over the age of 21, you need to submit your resume to NattyRaceResume@naturallight.com. That said, you can get a little creative about your submission. If you don’t want to type up your resume, they’ll accept videos, artwork and even stop-motion about yourself! Just make sure to include the your head shot, qualifications, skills and contact information, as well as anything that you think helps you stand out. The deadline is August 6, 2018.

The chosen resume will be announced, complete with the paint scheme will be revealed on September 10, 2018, which is ahead of the South Point 400 on September 14-16.

We’ve interviewed Daniel Blake to get a first-hand look at the promotion!

Now, if you are looking for a job, or maybe even looking to switch jobs, we just might have caught your interest, but I’m sure you have a lot of questions. Now, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! We arranged an exclusive interview with Daniel Blake, Senior Director of Value Brands at Anheuser-Busch, to get a first-hand look at how they came up with this idea and how you can apply.

• Where did the idea for this campaign come from?

Natural Light is all about creating great memories, and wants to make sure that the stresses of the real world don’t tarnish how you look back on those memories made during your college years. As a sponsor of Chris Buescher’s #37 car we get the opportunity several times a year to design his paint scheme. For the South Point 400 in September we wanted to do something to give back to our drinkers. In the midst of job recruiting season, we decided Chris’ racecar would be the perfect opportunity for a graduate to get their resume in front of a national TV audience. The goal of course, is to help them land their dream job.

• What inspired the need to help America’s young people find work?

It’s all about supporting those that were with us during those college years and beyond. Today, the job market is so cut throat, and more than 44 million Americans have the burden of college debt. There’s more pressure than ever to be recognized in that stack of resumes. We conducted a survey, and in fact, 4-in-5 employers agreed entry level applicants need to find new ways to stand out. With this paint scheme, it was an opportunity to do just that and help one of our drinkers get noticed.

• What will it take to decorate the car with someone’s resume?

We’ll be accepting resumes until August 6, considering every submission. We’ll take one lucky winner’s resume and transform it into a digital #37 race car first that will meet all NASCAR guidelines. From there, it’ll be painted on the #37 car ahead of the South Point 400 to race on national television on September 16 in Las Vegas.

• What are some of the rules and regulations concerning the promotion? For instance, who can apply?

Any person over the age of 21 can submit their resume to NattyRaceResume@naturallight.com. More than the standard one-page resume will be accepted. Video, painting, motion graphics, Claymation – we’ll take it all into consideration.

• What are some ideas you’d have for future promotions? Will we see other future attempts to help wannabe workers?

We’re sticking by those who made the most of their college experience, and going to do everything we can to make sure they look back fondly on that time in their life. We gave away $1M to recent graduates to pay down college loans earlier this year, and we’re bringing back that program next year even bigger than before.

In the non-stop world of 2018, finding some decent time to educate yourself can be tough to come by. Between class, work, exercise, social life, dating life, etc, carving out the time to teach yourself something worthwhile can be next to impossible. As much as you might like to be, most of us aren’t Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting.

Well, luckily for you, we have a solution: a Wikipedia page per week.

Wikipedia is essentially what the internet was supposed to be: a source where all people can get free information about the world (and NOT a place where the world can get free information on people — looking at you Facebook and Google).

While I don’t have any scientific data to back this up, it’s not outside the realm of possibility that Wikipedia’s is Planet Earth’s primary source of information. However, with that said, the task of diving into this vast website can we quite daunting: where do I even begin?

That’s where we come in: instead of spending time trying to figure out which Wikipedia page you should give into, we’ll decide for you and bring you all the highlights. If Wikipedia is coffee, think of this as espresso: a short & sweet shot dose of knowledge.

This week’s Wikipedia page is the Lufthansa Heist, the largest cash robbery committed on American soil at the time.

The Lufthansa Heist

Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? That’s because you’ve heard of the Lufthansa Heist before, at least if you’ve seen the Martin Scorsese classic Goodfellas (which you all SHOULD have seen by now):

And while the Lufthansa Heist is a relatively major plot point in the film — Robert De Niro’s character kills off essentially everyone associated in the crime — the movie barely delves into the intricacies of the actual robbery.

– The heist was planned by Jimmy Burke (Jimmy Conway in Goodfellas), an associate of the Lucchese crime family, when bookmaker Martin Krugman told Henry Hill (Ray Liotta) about millions of dollars in untraceable money: American currency flown in once a month from monetary exchanges for military servicemen and tourists in West Germany.

– Krugman originally obtained the information from airport worker Louis Werner because he owed Krugman $20,000 ($81,000 adjusted for inflation) in gambling debts.

– Krugman was able to take Werner for his word because he and his co-worker Peter Gruenwald had previously stolen $22,000 in foreign currency from Lufthansa in 1976.

– Werner, Krugman, and Burke planned the crime — even telling the crew where they should park.

– For his crew, Burke Burke decided on Tommy DeSimone, Joe Civitello Sr., Louis Cafora, Angelo Sepe, Tony Rodriguez, Joseph M. Costa, and Burke’s son Frank James Burke as inside gunmen. Paolo LiCastri, a Sicilian shooter, was later included as a representative of the Gambino crime family.

– In addition, Parnell “Stacks” Edwards (Samuel L Jackson’s character) was a black associate of Burke’s gang who served as a “gofer” and chauffeur, and he was also included to dispose of the van used in the heist (a Ford Econoline 150van would be used to transport the cash and a “crash car” would accompany the van to run vehicular interference should the plot be interrupted and a police chase ensues.)

– On December 11, 1978 at 3:12 a.m., when cargo agent Kerry Whalen returned from making a transfer at American Airlines, he spotted a black Ford Econoline van backed into the ramp door. Whalen walked toward the van to investigate, and two men without masks or gloves struck him over the head with pistols. Whalen had his hat pulled down to his chin and was thrown into the van, where a third robber was waiting.

– Senior agent Rolf Rebmann heard a noise by the loading ramp and went to investigate. Six armed, masked robbers forced their way in and handcuffed him. They then used a key provided by Werner and walked through a maze of corridors to round up the two other employees. That accomplished, two gunmen ventured downstairs to look for unexpected visitors. The other robbers marched the employees to a lunch room, where the other employees were on a break.

– They made John Murray, the terminal’s senior cargo agent, call Rudi Eirich on the intercom. The robbers knew that Eirich was the only guard that night who knew the combination to the double-door vault. Murray was made to pretend to Eirich that there was a problem with a load from Frankfurt, and he told Eirich to meet him in the cafeteria.

– The robbers ordered Eirich to open up the first door to a 10-by-20-foot room. They knew that if he opened the second door, he would activate an alarm to the Port Authority Police unit at the airport. Once inside, they ordered Eirich to lie on the ground and began sifting through invoices and freight manifests to determine which parcels they wanted from among the many similarly wrapped ones. Eirich later reported that the robbers were informed and knew all about the safety systems in the vault.

– The employees were told not to call the Port Authority until 4:30 a.m. When the robbers left, it was 4:16 a.m. This 15-minute buffer was crucial because Werner’s inside information made the robbers aware that the Port Authority Police could seal off the entire airport within 90 seconds.

–  At 4:21 a.m., the van containing the robbers and the stolen cash pulled out of the cargo terminal and left JFK, followed by the crash car.

– The robbery took only 64 minutes and was the largest theft of currency ever committed on American soil at the time. The total take? An estimated $5.875 million ($22 million today) in cash and jewels.

– Instead of disposing of the van like he was supposed to, “Stacks” went to his girlfriends to get high, parking the van in a no parking zone. The van was impounded and was quickly identified as the van used in the robbery.

– Henry Hill said that Jimmy Burke became paranoid and agitated once he realized how much attention Edwards’ failure had drawn, and resolved to kill anyone who could implicate him in the heist, starting with Stacks.

–  With the violent deaths of most of the heist associates and planners, little evidence and few witnesses remained to connect Burke or his crew to the heist.

– However, the Lufthansa Heist is one of the longest-investigate crimes in the United States, with the most recent arrest in connection to the crime coming in 2014 when 78-year-old Vincent Asaro, a high-ranking member of the Bonanno crime family, was arrested on January 23, 2014.

– Despite authorities long suspecting that Jimmy Burke was the mastermind of the robbery, he was never officially charged in connection with the crime.

Let’s face it, sometimes comic con can get a little too weird. Think about it like Christmas traditions. Sometimes the same thing for ten plus years can get repetitive or boring. Repetition can be at comic con, but it can also be the people that attend. Sometimes costumes can get over extravagant, or there are too many people crammed into one area. This can be a disaster waiting to happen. The ticking time bomb is ready to explode by the end of the week. If you are confused, allow me to explain.

Comic-Con can be a great place to be at, there are comic books, celebrities, and costumes. But, sometimes the costumes can get pushed to their highest limits. Meaning, you may find your larger men in a Princess Leia gold bikini or the half-naked man or woman in a Wonder Woman costume. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. It’s like poison for the eyes, and it will forever stay in your memory until death.

Another part of Comic-Con that just puts people in a place of dislike is the crowds. The convention floor or exhibit hall is like a giant pit at a concert. Sweaty people are smashed together trying to get to different booths. Mix this enormous group of people with costumes and fake weapons. Sometimes when you are squeezing by each person, you may get a giant sponge bath of sweat to the face. Such a lovely and salty feeling.

And if those two reasons for proving my point, here is one more. Imagine walking through a crowd and being bumped with a stroller or wheelchair. It’s not your fault, they are the ones who hit you and yet they still scream at you for being in the way. These people use their disability or child as an excuse to squeeze through crowded areas and not be scolded.

If you have been to SDCC or any other comic book convention and know other annoying things that pop up, let us know. We only explained three, we definitely missed a few. These are just the ones that seem the most annoying and stupid out of any we could think of or find. Now, don’t believe this is a bash on Comic-Con, it’s just a fair warning what you will get yourself into when attending a comic book convention.

Attention, all incoming freshmen, please listen up. We have an important announcement for you regarding your dorm rooms. You all suck at coming prepared. You think you have everything, but you really don’t. But, have no fear we’ve got you covered. Just read our checklist, and you will find how easy moving day will be. Warning, moving day will be busy and time-consuming. You may throw out your back moving your mini fridge. And be prepared for all elevators to be broken down, causing you to have to walk up ten flights of stares.

First is the bed. We are not talking about the comforter and how pretty it needs to be, or how many pillows you need. One pillow and a plane comforter are enough. But, it’s about the sheets and the mattress pad. Starting with the sheets, it is best to purchase two sets of sheets. It may be even better for you to buy three. This will help you with washing your sheets. Take your sheets off, put them in the laundry, and while they wash put on the new sheets. Simple and easy. As for the mattress pad, get one! If you don’t, prepare for a very stiff back until graduation. You will thank us later for this advice.

Next are the fans and heaters. Depending on where you attend college, you are probably going to be faced with some heat.

Enter the wonderful invention, the fan. One that will help you cool down in the overly hot weather you are stuck in for the next four years. To save money, purchase a cheap fan and, if possible, get two.

For the heaters, that is a bit tricky. Most colleges do not allow heaters because they are a fire hazard. The ones that you can use are the expensive fans that turn into heaters. This is where you put on your best puppy dog face to your parents to buy you the really expensive dual heater and fan.

Entertainment is your best friend in college. You can get your TVs and gaming consoles, but those are a pretty obvious thing to bring to college. What we are talking about are headphones. There are two reasons why you need headphones. One, it helps you ignore your loud roommate who is talking to their significant other or arguing with their parents. Two, it hides whatever you are listening to from your roommate. Yes, we just helped you find a way to watch Pornhub safely. But, please, if you are one of those who has Bluetooth headphones, turn the Bluetooth off before watching anything.

Our next piece of advice for your dorm room is more for those who don’t like their roommate. Get tape, more specifically painters tape. This is to help show your roommate where they are off limits too. Tape off your side of the room and make a rule to make them not cross that tape line. This is a bit over the top, but trust us knowing there are some awful roommates you will come face to face too.

Now, we know there is more to get for your dorm room, but these were the essential things to get. Go buy your posters and decorations, but please take our advice for moving into your dorm room. You will see why we recommend these items to every freshman. Sophomores know what we are talking about because they didn’t have our helpful advice. You all do, so be smart and take our advice.

A former student at Holy Cross High School claims in a lawsuit that Aimee Tkacz-Casini, an ex-teacher at the school, had a sexual relationship with him.

According to Fox, the plaintiff in the lawsuit, identified as the alias John Roe, is seeking damages from the school as he claims that Tkacz-Casini used her position as a teacher to engage in an inappropriate sexual relationship from September 2000 to June 2001. “Roe” said the officials at the school knew or should have known the teacher had engaged in inappropriate sexual contact.

Tkacz-Casini is just the latest teacher to be charged for an alleged relationship with a teenager student.  Over the course of just a few months, educators across the country were arrested for entering into an inappropriate relationship with their students, Tennessee teacher Janet Smothers, LaToya Parker, Florida teacher Caroline Lawson, 26-year-old Allyson Moran and Katherine Ross Ridenhour were all arrested on similar charges. A woman named Kayla Sprinkles was arrested in North Carolina for similar sexual crimes.

The list goes on to include 22-year-old Oklahoma science teacher Hunter Day, 28-year-old teacher Megan Kotarski, 23-year-old history teacher Michelle Schiffer, 29-year-old Alyssia Marie Reddy, special education teacher Jordan Ondish and 28-year-old Samantha Fitzpatrick have all been allegedly carrying on inappropriate relationships with their students.

In addition, 31-year-old Nicole Marie Andrews, 32-year-old Jessica Langford, 29-year-old Andrea Baber, 27-year-old Robin Dunlap, 27-year-old Jennifer Olajire-Aro have also been charged with these charges.

34-year-old Miranda Nicole Pauley was charged with similar crimes, Nancy Leigh Ann Brann, a former Christian school teacher, was arrested for having sex with a student, Coine Audiat pleaded no contest to having sex with a minor in 2016 and 23-year-old Darci Lake was arrested for an inappropriate relationship. 27-year-old Brittany Zamora from Arizona was arrested on similar charges. Keri Hoffman, 35, was also arrested for an alleged relationship with a student. More recently, 29-year-old Tiffany Ranweiler-Oblander and 33-year-old Maren Oates were arrested on similar charges.

Fraternities are the mistakes of colleges. For those of you who don’t know what frats are, we advise you to watch every college movie and educate yourself, because you must have been living under a massive rock your whole life. Frats are a bunch of guys who set no rules or boundaries when it comes to partying or taking care of themselves. College isn’t about schooling or becoming an adult; it’s all about the parties and memories with their brothers. Yes, their brotherly will confuse you. Are they gay, are they straight, or do they have an odd relationship with 50 guys? Here are our top five fraternity stereotypes that create every cringy brotherhood.

Frat Boys Get All The Girls

Girls have a strange attraction to guys in fraternities. Probably because they do throw epic parties and it’s the easiest way to get invited. But, frat guys have this weird competition with one another on how many girls they can take back to their rooms. Don’t believe us, make a field trip to your closest Greek row and count how many walks of shames you see, don’t worry they aren’t hard to miss.

Uniforms

There are two uniforms for every frat boy, the advertising frat letters, and the Brad. It is rare not to see these two uniforms on a frat boy. If they are wearing something else, they are probably at a party and were forced to wear something ridiculous, or it’s Halloween. Every frat boys closet is filled with Patagonia’s, Polo’s, Vineyard Vines, and their lucky frat shirts and sweatshirts.

Pledges & Hazing

Did you think hazing only happened in movies, there are still frats out in the world who haze their freshmen. We may not see anything, but what happens behind closed doors will forever be a mystery. Just be prepared if you are pledging, because you might end up with a diaper, fifteen beers in your system, and wrestling with another half-naked man. But, it’s all in good fun right?

Sports, overall, to guys is a sickness. The gambling, the fan dedication, the fantasy leagues, it’s like watching a little boy run through a candy store. Emily Wilkinson is the fiancee and future wife of Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield. The Cleveland Browns selected Baker Mayfield with the number one overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft. Mayfield, a Heisman trophy winner, was a walk-on at the University of Oklahoma.

Mayfield and Wilkinson, who had been dating since Mayfield was attending the University of Oklahoma, got engaged in June 2018. UFC 227 fight week is officially here! This weekend, Saturday, Aug. 4, the Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to pay-per-view with two title fights at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif. In the main event, bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw defends his championship in a rematch against heated rival Cody Garbrandt.

The co-main event features longtime flyweight king Demetrious Johnson, who looks to continue establishing himself as one of the all-time pound-for-pound greats when he defends his belt against former Olympic medalist Henry Cejudo.

To kickoff fight week, the UFC is hosting a media conference call on Monday, July 30. The main cast of Guardians of the Galaxy has released a joint statement in defense of fired director James Gunn. The letter has been signed by franchise stars Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn and Michael Rooker.

The statement was uploaded across the social media platforms of Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, and others.

Pratt, the franchise’s lead actor, captioned his with the statement “although I don’t support James Gunn’s inappropriate jokes from years ago, he is a good man. I’d personally love to see him reinstated as director of Volume 3. If you please, read the following statement- signed by our entire cast.”

To our fans and friends:

We fully support James Gunn. We were all shocked by his abrupt firing last week and have intentionally waited these ten days to respond in order to think, pray, listen, and discuss. In that time, we’ve been encouraged by the outpouring of support from fans and members of the media who wish to see James reinstated as director of Volume 3 as well as discouraged by those so easily duped into believing the many outlandish conspiracy theories surrounding him.

Being in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” movies have been a great honor in each of our lives. We cannot let this moment pass without expressing our love, support, and gratitude for James. We are not here to defend his jokes of many years ago but rather to share our experience having spent many years together on set making Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2. The character he has shown in the wake of his firing is consistent with the man he was everyday n set, and his apology, now and from years ago when first addressing these remark, we believe is fro the heard, a heart we all know, trust, and love. In casting each of us to help him tell the story of misfits who find redemption, he changed our lives forever. We believe the theme of redemption has never been more relevant than now.

Each of us looks forward to working with our friend James again in the future. His story isn’t over — not by a long shot.

There is little due process in the court of public opinion. James is likely not the last good person to be put on trial. Given the growing political divide in this country, it’s safe to say instances like this will continue, although we hope Americans from across the political spectrum can ease up on the character assassinations and stop weaponizing mob mentality.

Amandla Stenberg is an American actress, model and singer, first becoming a household name as a child star.

Recently we were fortunate enough to get our hands on the newly released Vizio P65-F1 so we could give our review on how it holds up. If it’s anything like their M-series line the Vizio M50-E0 we reviewed last year though, odds are that we’re in for a real treat. Immediately after taking it out of the box, the flat screen gave the impression of having a sleek and simple design with a slim glass border that was flush with the screen. The bottom piece fits this impression as well, and while it does stick out a bit more than the screen it would still seem unobtrusive if mounted under the TV or placed somewhere below.

The set up was incredibly easy as well, and basically just involved mounting it to the wall and plugging it in. We immediately found that the TV included built-in digital tuners which means the days of using an actual cable to receive cable (a bit ironic) are over. It also included what is basically Google Cast but called “Vizio Cast”, which just means it has all the standard features of being able to project content onto your TV but with added elements which are owned solely by Vizio. This means you can project any forms of media you would like onto the screen, although this may not be necessary as the TV already comes pre-installed with some apps like Netflix and YouTube. With all that being said let’s get to what’s really important, the picture quality.

Picture Quality:

Vizio

As expected with a Vizio TV, the picture quality is very good and makes a case for it providing one of the highest quality images you can get within its current price range. The blacks are incredibly dark, and when combined with the bright and colorful images the TV is able to produce the end result is a very effective and photo-realistic contrast. This can partly be attributed to the TV’s ability to show both standard dynamic range (SDR) content, as well as high-dynamic-range (HDR) imaging. This, combined with it including full array backlighting which means there are LED’s spread throughout the entire screen rather than just the edges is what allows it to produce such incredibly clear and stunning images.

Vizio

It’s not just about image quality though, Vizio improved its connectivity from last year, enabling four of the inputs to accept all major 4K and HDR sources. It’s worth mentioning that the TV features an incredibly convenient five HDMI 2.0 inputs (2 side / 3 bottom) meaning you can have pretty much as many devices hooked up as you could want without ever having to plug and unplug things. Once we had our Xbox running a FIFA 18 game going, we were pleasantly surprised to see the TV easily kept up with the fast motion blur of the game with the TV being almost if not completely flicker free. Clear Action 720 is used to ensure that fast-action content gets an effective 240Hz refresh rate. And, unlike last year, it does include an antenna port for the TV’s built-in over-the-air TV tuner, just like those of competitors.

Sound Quality:

As to be expected with the built-in speakers of any TV, you would definitely be better off hooking it up to a separate sound system rather than relying on the TV alone. I was somewhat surprised with how loud the speakers were able to get, but that didn’t make up for the sub-par amount of bass it could produce. The speakers will certainly do if you have nothing else, but getting a designated sound system is definitely recommended.

Smart Features:

Vizio

The P-Series continues to use the SmartCast with Chromecast built-in smart system, which is basically a Google Cast but with elements that are proprietary to Vizio. You can also control the P-Series with your phone and cast any content to the screen that you could cast using Google Cast. It’s a simple and clean system. The two new features main features this year are the inclusion of ATSC tuners and voice integration for Amazon’s Alexa and Google Assistant. Both of these are worthwhile inclusions as the tuners mean all you’ll need is HDTV antenna to get free over the air channels, and voice integration means the days of using a pesky remote to operate your TV are now over.

Verdict:

Vizio’s commitment to making affordable yet amazing televisions is a trend that it continues to uphold. Each year their TVs get better than the last and the Vizio P65-F1 stands out as one of their best models yet. The 2018 Vizio P-Series is a great TV for a wide range of different usages. It has very good picture quality, especially when viewed in a dark room due to the high native contrast ratio and great local dimming. It also has low input lag for gaming and a great wide color gamut for HDR. Based on our experience this TV is currently one of the best screens for its price, and will undoubtedly blow everyone. The inclusion of the ATSC tuners and voice compatibility both come off as being necessary and useful inclusions as well. The P-Series looks like it will be a great choice if you’re after a TV that performs at an above-average level with great pricing. So if you’re looking to upgrade or update your TV experience this year, the 2018 Vizio P-Series should be a consideration.

With the overweight cosplayers, it can be a bit stomach-turning seeing them in a Harley Quinn costume, and that goes for both men and women wearing the costume. And finally, the large plastic or cardboard costumes that take around a year or two to create. However, the great costume may look like a masterpiece but take up too much space in a crowded area.

The Hoverer

The people who always hang around one booth and one booth only for the whole weekend. It doesn’t matter if it’s a professional’s booth or a regular comic booth, they will never leave. That booth is their home away from home. And no one can tell them to go because no one is ever mean at Comic-Con. Sometimes a subtle hint can get them to leave, but more than likely the hoverer won’t even notice the hint and think it’s some time of compliment to them.

On The Dot Planner

This is a person who has a plan for the whole day from the time they wake up to the second they fall asleep. Everything is planned, seven in the morning wake up, nine arrive at the convention center, wait in line till lunch, and so on. Every day is planned like it’s an escape route. They even have a map with direction on how to get to each booth. These people can be helpful but can get annoying if you are along for the ride. They will pull you around like a dog on a leash, because if they are even five seconds late on their schedule prepare for a meltdown.

Buys Everything Fan

This is someone that every booth owner loves, and they encourage this person to come back to their booth for more. This person is willing to throw all their life savings into anything they lay their eyes on. Money isn’t an issue for them. They never think twice when handing their money over for something that could be considered garbage, but it’s not going to stop them from buying what they want.

The Camper

A lot of people like to go to Comic-Con to enjoy the convention center and the panels. Everyone tries to experience as much as they can, however, some people are only there for one panel. They will do anything to get to that panel and see their favorite TV or movie cast talk about the story that will later be explained to everyone when the movie or TV show is premiered. This person will pack every camping material and set up camp first thing when Comic-Con opens. They are always at the front of the line and will probably have a bottle of their pee outside their tent because they are too scared someone will steal their spot if they leave.

Look, they say those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones, so as someone who has walked into liquor stores in various states of untidiness, I’ll try and curb my take a little bit.

But that said, I mean, this has to be the most Florida thing to ever Florida, right? You’ve got a thin white dude with a straggly beard, a 30 rack of shitty beer, a camouflage hat, and an alligator. That’s like the Chicken and Broccoli of Floridaness.

Is there any rhyme or reason to why Robby (yup, he’s since been identified as Robby Stratton) rolled into the minimart toting an alligator? Of course not. In fact, according to Robby, he doesn’t even remember being there.

Speaking to Action News Jax, Stratton said:  “I don’t even remember coming up here. This store sells some good liquor and I drank a lot of it that night.”

He brought an alligator into a Jacksonville convenience store to help him with his purchase. Now the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the incident.

“They told me what I did was stupid and I’ll be facing charges here soon and probably go to jail, probably not,” Stratton told Action News Jax. “We’ll see.”

The TV station posted two videos, first of Stratton and a group of men after the gator, which appeared to be 4-5 feet in length, was captured. One of the men stepped on the alligator’s snout. He then grabbed it by the neck, held it aloft and yelled:

“Florida State, baby! Florida State, baby! Florida State, baby!”

Classic.
