Three people have been injured in a shooting in Houston, Texas, that took place near a local food market. During early reports of the story, the victims were taken to the hospital in an unknown condition. Police are also believed to be currently investigating the whereabouts of the suspect, whose identity has not yet been revealed to the public.

What happened?

According to ABC 13, the shooting took place at 3341 Winbern Street, where Scoti Food Mart is located.

As mentioned above, the identity of the three victims, or their current conditions, or the suspect behind the shooting has not been released to the public.

According to ABC 13, police later clarified that the three victims were men; two of the victims were in stable condition and one is in critical condition at Ben Taub Hospital/

After Drake and Pusha T released diss tracks aimed at each other, Pusha T continued to “repost” reactions from Kanye West about the feud. There is also a much less veiled line in the freestyle, which plays off of Kanye’s “Kids See Ghosts” album and mentions “P and his bro.”

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to pay-per-view on Saturday, July 7 with the biggest event of the year. UFC 226 — which takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas — is headlined by a champion vs. champion superfight that sees heavyweight titleholder Stipe Miocic putting his belt on the line against light heavyweight king Daniel Cormier.

A featherweight championship bout between Max Holloway and Brian Ortega was initially slated to serve as the co-main event, but Holloway was forced to withdraw during fight week due to concussion-like symptoms. The UFC is looking to reschedule the bout at a later date.

Also on the main card is a heavyweight slugfest between Derrick Lewis and Francis Ngannou, an exciting welterweight scrap between Paul Felder and Mike Perry, and a lightweight contest between former champ Anthony Pettis and Michael Chiesa. Kicking of the pay-per-view is a light heavyweight bout between Khalil Rountree and Gokhan Saki

Champ Stipe Miocic vs. champ Daniel Cormier – for the UFC heavyweight title

Derrick Lewis def. Francis Ngannou via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

Lewis and Ngannou came into the fight knowing that either man could end the bout at a second’s notice, so they were staying on the outside and being patient through the opening minute. Lewis was first to strike with a left kick to the body, taking advantage of an opening when Ngannou switched to the southpaw position and Ngannou whiffed on a counter.

Lewis continued to mix up his strikes, throwing a switch kick to the head of his opponent. Ngannou was able to back Lewis against the cage after throwing out his jab, but he failed to string together any combinations and the round came to an end with the crowd raining down boos. Ngannou landed just two strikes in the opening round. The start of Round 2 was much of the same, with neither fighter willing to pull the trigger. Referee Herb Dean gave a warning to the fighters for a lack of engagement, which led to Lewis picking up his pace and throwing some wild combinations as the round came to an end with Joe Rogan saying we could be on our way to “the most boring heavyweight decision of all-time.”

Midway through the final frame, Ngannou had landed only 9 punches. The record for the least strikes landed was 23, so Ngannou was in danger of being the least active fighter in a UFC bout. Lewis unleashed a flurry looking to create some excitement, but Ngannou circled away and we were once again in a stalemate as the fight cruised to a decision.

Mike Perry def. Paul Felder via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)

Both men immediately showed their willingness to take the center of the cage as promised. Unfortunately, that led to a collision of heads and immediate cut opened up on Felder’s forehead. They were swinging heavy leather wasted no time looking for a fight-ending blow.Perry was able to keep Felder at bay with some leg kicks and side kicks, but Felder was heating up and began throwing some big kicks of his own. Perry was finding his must success in the clinch, while Felder was landing the more significant strikes when they were in kickboxing range. The two men closed out with a wild exchange before Perry stuffed a takedown attempt at the bell.

Felder continued to work his kicks, but Perry was able to turn one opening into the opportunity to clinch. Once in the clinch, Perry elevated Felder above his head and slammed him to the mat. Felder bounced back to his feet, but ate a heavy elbow from Perry during his escape against the cage. The action slowed midway through the round, before Perry hurt Felder with a brutal left hook that opened a nasty cut over Felder’s right eye. The doctor looked at the cut but determined Felder could continue. When the action resumed, Perry landed a takedown and began pummeling Felder’s gruesome cut.

Ahead of the final round, Felder informed his corner that he believed he had broken his arm. Felder was struggling to put together a well-rounded attack because of his injury, while Perry was also able to capitalize on the defensive opening with more powerful lefts to the head. Perry closed the distance and locked up Felder’s waist before throwing some massive knees into Felder’s thigh. The two men took the center of the cage with just 30 seconds to go and both looked to close out the fight with an entertaining flurry in the middle of the octagon to the joy of the fans.

Anthony Pettis def. Michael Chiesa via submission (triangle armbar) – Round 2, 0:52

Pettis came out looking to be the aggressor and temporarily found himself in top position, but Chiesa was able to bounce back to his feet before engaging in the clinch. Chiesa eventually got the takedown, but Pettis immediately began threatening for submissions from the bottom with his active guard. Chiesa was able to avoid danger and kept his weight on the former champion while looking for a way to advance his position. Pettis was able to get back to his feet quickly after a dangerous upkick. Once Pettis got some room, he was able to start firing off his flashy kicks before catching a kick of Chiesa’s, landing a trip and looking for a flurry to close the round.

Pettis opened up the second frame with some heavy kicks to the body followed by a straight right hand that dropped Chiesa. Chiesa was able to avoid follow-up strikes after Pettis decided to dive for the guillotine. While Chiesa was able to avoid the guillotine, he quickly found himself stuck inside of a triangle choke. Pettis then added the arm and locked in a triangle armbar that forced Chiesa to top.

Khalil Rountree def. Gokhan Saki via TKO (strikes) – Round 1, 1:36

Rountree came out patient and looking to avoid the early mistake against the much more seasoned striker in Saki. Rountree was staying in the pocket and throwing heavy leather, however, which was a dangerous strategy that played right into Saki’s game. Despite all of the pre-fight hype and belief that Saki would control the fight in the stand up, Rountree rocked Saki with a devastating left hand down the middle that sent Saki crumbling to the mat and left the arena on their feet. Rountree followed up the straight left with a flurry of ground-and-pound to cap off the stunning upset.

PRELIMINARY CARD (UFC Fight Pass & FOX Sports 1)

Paulo Costa def. Uriah Hall via TKO (strikes) – Round 2, 2:38

Both men began the bout hand-fighting and looking to find an opening in their opponent’s defense. Hall had a significant reach advantage and was content staying on the outside. Unfortunately, the action was halted in the opening round after Costa hit Hall with a groin shot. When the action resumed, Hall returned to a snapping jab that was consistently finding a home and lighting Costa up. Costa gained so momentum with a vicious strike to the body. Costa was warned for extending his fingers, before Hall returned to keeping his opponent at a distance with his jab. Costa again hit Hall below the belt and forced another break in the action before receiving a final warning.

Hall opened the second round with a well-timed shot, but Costa quickly bounced back to his feet. Hall cracked Costa with a heavy shot and the Brazilian immediately began retreating from danger. Once Costa regained his wits, he began landing some devastating shots of his own that completely turned the tide and sent Hall crumbling to the mat as the referee stepped in to stop the action.

Raphael Assuncao def. Rob Font via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Both men were feeling out their opponents in the first round as they attempted to avoid a crucial mistake in a bout that could have title shot implications in the division. Assuncao landed the first big shot of the match, scoring a 1-2 that temporarily dropped Font to the mat. Font bounced right back to his feet and began stalking his opponent. Early in Round 2, Assuncao looked to establish some dominance, landing an early takedown and immediately working to take Font’s back. On the mat, Assuncao had the clear advantage, but Font was able to slowly work his way back to his feet midway through the round. Font was unable to get off any attack as we prepared for the third round.

Font came out looking to push the pace knowing he would likely need a finish to come away with the win. Unfortunately for Font, the action was temporarily halted after taking an eye poke from Assuncao. Assuncao then landed another takedown and began stacking his opponent while inflicting damage with some ground-and-pound against the cage. Font was active looking to return to his feet, but unable to get off of his back as the fight went to the judges.

Drakkar Klose def. Lando Vannata via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Klose immediately pushed Vannata against the cage and swing for a wild spinning backfist, but Vannata countered with a takedown to temporarily get the fight to the mat. After a brief scramble, Klose returned to his feet and clinched Vannata before working against the cage. Both men continued to jostle for position in the clinch, alternating position and exchanging strikes.

Vannata picked up the pace in Round 2, while Klose was keeping the same strategy of clinching his opponent and neutralizing any flashy striking techniques. After a brief exchange, Klose opened a nasty cut over Vannata’s right eye. Klose caught Vannata with a right hand as Vannata charged in and was beginning to dictate the striking game. As the round went on, Klose continued to attack Vannata’s lead leg as damage was piling up. In between rounds, Klose told his corner that Vannata had no power left, but he was still urged to be cautious.

Klose continued to control the fight in the final frame, dominating in the clinch and inflicting damage against the cage. Vannata began swinging with a sense of desperation but was unable to find a home for his strikes. Vannata did manage a takedown in the closing minute and immediately began working for Klose’s back, but could not capitalize. Klose returned the favor with a takedown of his own and road out the remainder of the round in dominant position.

Curtis Millender def. Max Griffin via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Both men came out looking to push the pace, before Griffin was able to land the first takedown of the night and began working from the half guard. Millender was able to avoid hitting the mat for much of Round 2 and began finding more success in the stand up. Millender cracked Griffin with a big knee to the bottom and snapped Griffin’s head back with a straight punch, before landing a takedown and finishing the round raining down some ground-and-pound from the top. In the final frame, Griffin was working against the cage and searching for a takedown of his own. However, Millender was able to defend the attempt and returned to the center of the cage. Millender was again able to land his strikes with consistency as the duration of the round played out.

Dan Hooker def. Gilbert Burns via knockout (punches) – Round 1, 2:28

Hooker wasted no time proving how dangerous he was on the ground, immediately threatening Burns with submissions when the fight hit the mat. Once Burns returned to his feet, Hooker was able to show off his hands by cracking Burns with a heavy shot that immediately dropped Burns to the mat and forced the referee to come in to save the day as the New Zealand native scored his fourth stoppage victory in a row.

Emily Whitmire def. Jamie Moyle via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Whitmire came out as the busier striker and was using her volume to outstrike her opponent while keeping her at range. Whitmire came out again in Round 2 looking to establish her jab while controlling the center of the cage. Moyle was able to eventually close the distance and attempted a takedown, but Whitmire fought off the attempt and tried for a shot of her own. Moyle also defended the takedown and the two women separated and returned to the center of the cage. Moyle was able to finally get into a dominant position, staying in Whitmire’s chest and pressuring her against the cage while throwing shots to the body. Whitmire opened the final frame by putting Moyle on her back and immediately looked to improve her position against an active guard from her opponent. Whitmire eventually flattened Moyle out and was able to dominate from top control inside of the half guard. Moyle had no answer for Whitmire in the final round as we went to the judge’s scorecards.

Portland Police Bureau’s Gang Enforcement Team is investigating a shooting that injured two people outside the Los Prados Event Hall in North Portland this Saturday.

What happened?

According to Katu 2, officers were alerted to the scene after a 911 caller contacted them, saying that at least two people were shot outside the hall. Fining a large group of people at the scene, the two injured men were found in the hall, with officials believing there could have been 100 people or more in the area; both endured serious injuries but are expected to survive, according to officials.

Officers found evidence of gunfire on North Lombard Street. At this time, officials do not believe that the two victims were the intended targets of the shooting but have not released their identities to the public.

UFC Fight Pass

Emily Whitmire picked up her first victory inside of the octagon on Saturday night at UFC 226 in Las Vegas, but it was an interaction following the fight that stole the show. Whitmire had her hand raised in victory before flipping the double-bird to her teammate, jiu jitsu ace Vinny Magalhaes.

Whitmire was unhappy that Magalhaes decided to corner her opponent, Jamie Moyle, for the fight, and unloaded during her post-fight interview with UFC commentator Joe Rogan.

“Vinny is supposed to be my teammate,” Whitmire said. “He said he wasn’t cornering against me five times. Today I showed up, saw him getting off the bus, didn’t message me or anything, so he can go f*** himself.”

UFC 229 will mark the promotion’s return to pay-per-view on Saturday, Oct. 6 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Ultimate Fighting Championship caps off a busy 2018 with UFC 232 on Saturday, Dec. 29. The event — which will air live on pay-per-view — takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It will mark the promotion’s fourth pay-per-view of the year at the venue, following UFC 22: Cyborg vs. Kunitskaya, UFC 226: Miocic vs. Cormier, and UFC 229.

There are no bouts officially announced for the event at this time.

UFC 226 ended on a high note after Brock Lesnar made an appearance. The WWE champion and former UFC titleholder was sitting cageside for the bout before he made his way into the octagon to confront Daniel Cormier, who scored a first-round knockout victory over Stipe Miocic to become only the second-ever fighter in UFC history to hold two titles in different weight classes consecutively.

Cormier called out Lesnar following his big win, when Lesnar came in to crash the party.

Lesnar entered the cage and then got into Cormier’s face before shoving the double-champion across the cage. People inside of the cage quickly separated the two men before a further scuffle could break out.

After crashing Cormier’s moment, Lesnar grabbed a hold of the microphone and cut a WWE-style promo. Lesnar called out former UFC champion Stipe Miocic and co-main event participant Francis Ngannou as “sh**,” before offering to take on Cormier inside of the cage at a future date.

It is the obvious fight to make on all sides, but there are a still a number of hurdles that need to be cleared. There are conflicting reports about whether Lesnar has re-entered the USADA drug testing pool which is required for six months before returning to action, so a potential superfight between the WWE star and two-division champion may be postponed until 2019. Of course, if the UFC wanted to put the fight on one of the biggest stages in combat sports, they have already secured an October date for Madison Square Garden in New York City.

We will just have to wait and see.

Iowa’s 38th governor has died at the age of 89, as confirmed by family members in a statement from Drake University in Des Moines this past Sunday.

What happened?

According to KCRG, Ray’s passing was confirmed in the following statement:

“Robert D. Ray, Iowa’s 38th governor, who never stopped serving the state and its people in recent decades, passed away early this morning in Des Moines.”

“He had dealt with Parkinson’s disease and died peacefully of natural causes at Wesley Acres.”

David Oman, Ray’s former chief of staff, also released the following statement:

“Bob Ray defined the modern era governorship for Iowa and beyond.”

“More importantly, he touched the lives of three generations of Iowans, who respected, trusted and followed his leadership. He will be greatly missed by many; his legacy will extend for decades to come.”

Iowa’s current governor Kim Reynolds also issued the following statement:

“Governor Ray’s legacy lives on in the millions of people that he impacted as a tremendous statesman for Iowa and our nation.”

“His civility, courage and common-sense governing set a high standard for those who followed. May our prayers and thoughts bring peace to First Lady Billie Ray, her daughters and family at this time.”

Ray was first elected governor in 1968 and served five consecutive terms, an ultimate total of 14 years. Towards the 1990’s, he also took on the role of acting mayor of Des Moines, followed by president of Drake University. At this time, he is believed to be survived by his wife Billie, three daughters and eight grandchildren.

Sarah Lindsay Lewis, a former teacher who was convicted of having a sexual relationship with an underage student, has recently been arrested on suspicion of selling methamphetamine.

According to reports, Lewis was arrested by members of the Major Crimes Task Force on July 2 for allegedly selling narcotics from her car in Utah County.

Police found that Lewis was in possession of 12 ounces of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.

She was ordered to spend three days in jail for the parole violation.

Last year, Lewis was accused of having sex with at least one of her male students and providing alcohol to a minor when she was a teacher at an alternative high school in Spanish Fork.

Lewis is just one of many teachers to be charged for an alleged relationship with a teenager student.  Over the course of just a few months, educators across the country were arrested for entering into an inappropriate relationship with their students, Tennessee teacher Janet Smothers, LaToya Parker, Florida teacher Caroline Lawson, 26-year-old Allyson Moran and Katherine Ross Ridenhour were all arrested on similar charges.

The list goes on to include 22-year-old Oklahoma science teacher Hunter Day, 28-year-old teacher Megan Kotarski, 23-year-old history teacher Michelle Schiffer, 29-year-old Alyssia Marie Reddy, special education teacher Jordan Ondish and 28-year-old Samantha Fitzpatrick have all been allegedly carrying on inappropriate relationships with their students.

In addition, 31-year-old Nicole Marie Andrews, 32-year-old Jessica Langford, 29-year-old Andrea Baber, 27-year-old Robin Dunlap, 27-year-old Jennifer Olajire-Aro have also been charged with these charges.

34-year-old Miranda Nicole Pauley was charged with similar crimes, Nancy Leigh Ann Brann, a former Christian school teacher, was arrested for having sex with a student, Coine Audiat pleaded no contest to having sex with a minor in 2016 and 23-year-old Darci Lake was arrested for an inappropriate relationship. 27-year-old Brittany Zamora from Arizona was arrested on similar charges. Keri Hoffman, 35, was also arrested for an alleged relationship with a student. More recently, 29-year-old Tiffany Ranweiler-Oblander and 33-year-old Maren Oates were arrested on similar charges.

Iniesta scored his first goal of the 2010–11 season during the opening league fixture against Racing de Santander, lobbing the ball into the net from a distance of 30 yards. Throughout the campaign, he received standing ovations from opposition fans, including at El Sardinero and the Vicente Calderón Stadium, in appreciation of his World Cup-winning goal. Another standing ovation came on the home pitch of Espanyol in the Derbi barceloní, with the crowd acknowledging his friendship with Daniel Jarque, Espanyol’s captain at the time of his death. Iniesta was one of the three finalists for the 2010 FIFA Ballon d’Or alongside Xavi and Messi, placing as runner-up behind the Argentine.

Iniesta signed a new contract with Barcelona in December 2013, keeping him at the club until 2018. As vice-captain, he regularly captained Barça throughout the club’s second treble-winning campaign of the 2014–15 season, and became captain after Carles Puyol’s retirement and Xavi’s departure. Iniesta scored three times during the team’s Copa del Rey campaign, and was the man of the match in the 2015 UEFA Champions League Final, having assisted Ivan Rakitić’s opening goal in the 3–1 defeat of Italian champions Juventus at Berlin’s Olympiastadion. Their European victory made Barcelona the first club in history to win the treble of domestic league, domestic cup, and European Cup twice; Iniesta was among the seven players to have been a part of both treble-winning teams.

On 24 May 2018, Japanese club Vissel Kobe announced the signing of Iniesta on a three-year deal.

According to Yeezy Mafia, the Ultra Boosts will represent House Targaryen, White Walkers, Night’s Watch, House Lannister, and House Stark. The early renderings from Yeezy Mafia show each sneaker has a heel label with sayings such as “Winter Is Coming,” “Winter Is Here,” “Fire And Blood,” and “Hear Me Roar.” It would be nice if the sneakers had each house’s sigil on it somewhere. Imagine strutting around King’s Landing in these shoes?

College athletics opens up many, many doors for athletes all over the country. The opportunity to achieve athletic glory as well as obtain a valuable degree provides a life-changing outlet for many.

The universities you will see on this list all have achieved unprecedented success in college athletics. All have sent many of their student-athletes on to highly successful and lucrative professional careers.

So, in the extremely competitive world of college athletics which programs are the best in the nation?

10. The Ohio State University

Ohio State joins the Florida Gators as one of the few schools to complete the very rare feat of winning a men’s baseball, basketball, and football national championship. The Ohio State football program is perhaps the most successful sport at the school staking claim to eight national championships; their most recent championship occurred in 2014. The Buckeyes also have been very successful in men’s rowing and fencing.

9. Auburn University

The Auburn Tigers athletic program has won 16 team NCAA national championships. The men’s swimming program has been the most successful claiming eight national championships, including five in a row from 2003-2007. The men’s swimming program also won 44 straight swim meets during their dynasty in the mid-2000’s. The Auburn Tigers are annually a significant player on the football field, with their most recent national championship coming in 2010.

8. University of Connecticut

It’s no secret the UConn women’s basketball program is the most successful program in all of college athletics. The Lady Huskies have won a record 11 national championships and own two ridiculous winning streaks. The most recent winning-streak started in 2014 and ended in 2017 totaling 111 straight victories. The other winning streak occurred between 2008 and 2010 totaling 90 consecutive victories. The men’s basketball team also has a winning history, claiming four national championships.

7. University of Maryland

The most decorated college lacrosse program resides in Maryland. Between the Terrapins men’s and women’s lax teams the school has claimed a combined 26 national championships, with the women winning seven straight at one point between 1995-2001. Maryland also stakes claim to three men’s soccer championships and one championship each for the men’s and women’s basketball programs.

6. Florida State University

The Florida State softball team recently claimed the schools first national championship in the sport. The school as a whole has won 18 team national championships and over 100 conference titles. The Seminoles football program boasts three Heisman winning quarterbacks in Jameis Winston, Chris Weinke, and Charlie Ward to go along with three national championships.

5. University of Texas

The University of Texas athletic program has become familiar with the Olympic medal podium. The school has produced ten gold medal winners. The schools swimming program is consistently near the top year in and year out with a total of 13 men’s swimming and diving national championships. The Texas football program is second all-time in wins and has won four national championships. The men’s baseball team has been successful as well claiming six national championships.

4. University of Oklahoma

The University of Oklahoma has constructed one of the best athletic facilities in the country, and it is home to one of the most successful athletic programs. The Sooners have been particularly good in football and gymnastics. The Oklahoma football program has won seven national championships and has produced six Heisman trophy winners. The gymnastics program has won 15 team national championships combined between men and women, with 12 coming from the men’s program.

3. Louisiana State University

The LSU Tigers football program currently has the most former players in the NFL. Overall the LSU athletic program has won 47 team national championships. Of those 47 championships six are attributed to the men’s baseball program, and in total the team has made 18 College World Series appearances. But, the most successful program at LSU is their women’s track team. Between indoor and outdoor women’s track and field, the school has 25 national championships.

2. University of Alabama

Much of Alabama’s athletic success is accredited to the school’s dominance on the gridiron. The Crimson Tide have won 14 football national championships. But, don’t think football is the only thing that goes on in Tuscaloosa. The Tide won back-to-back men’s golf national championships in 2013 and 2014. Also, the women’s gymnastic’s team has won six national championships in program history.

1. University of Florida

When it comes to sports success in college athletics, the University of Florida reigns supreme. The school’s rich history in producing elite professional athletes is quite extraordinary. The list includes the NFL’s all-time leading rusher Emmitt Smith, Olympians Ryan Lochte, Abby Wambach, Heather Mitts, Dara Torres, and NBA stars Bradley Beal, Joakim Noah, and Al Horford. The notable alums list could go on forever; it’s astounding the amount of athletic talent that hails from Gainesville.

The Gators are just one of four schools to have won the football national championship, men’s basketball championship, and baseball national championship. The Gators men’s basketball program won back-to-back national championships in 2006 and 2007. The school is also the only program to hold both the men’s football and basketball national championships in the same calendar year. Overall Florida has won 40 team national titles and 279 individual national championships.

Summer it the season to enjoy your free time. No more school work, classes, and annoying professors. Sorry for those of you who have a job or are doing summer, you have no summer. But, for those of you who do have a summer you need to live it up and make it better than the last. Don’t waste it, because in the blink of an eye you are back sleeping in your college class. Here are our tips and tricks for avoiding lousy summer habits.

Tanning

Winter is over and its time to take those pale bodies and cook them to a beautiful medium color. However, some people are so eager to get a tan they forget an essential tool for tanning. Sunscreen. Don’t lather up but put a nice thin layer where you aren’t walking around town looking like a tomato. Also, don’t focus on one side of your body. Some people forget to flip over. So, set a timer. Twenty minutes each side should be good enough for a nice tan. Try your best, or you will start burning. If you want to stay out longer, add another layer of sunscreen or face the facts that you will be walking like a long-legged penguin the next day.

Shower

A lot of people can be forgetful when it comes to showering in the summer. The new TV series gets, or your friends invite you out to a last minute outing. Whatever causes you to forget a shower, please recognize that you aren’t just hurting yourself you are burning everyone’s noses around you. Do us all a favor and take five minutes to scrub down the gym locker that is under your armpits. Or invest in something called deodorant. You will be saving a lot of noses if you take the time to shower.

Sleeping In & Staying Up Late

It’s not rocket science. When you stay up late, you will sleep in, unless you have some sleeping problem. Which, if you do, we are very sorry you can’t enjoy the peacefulness of sleep. Now for those of you who can sleep, start setting the alarm in the morning. You don’t want to sleep the day away. You end up missing the best part of summer, the sun. Don’t let the moon become your best friend. If you wake up early, you will be tired at a reasonable time to go to bed. It only takes about three to four days to get your body use to waking up and going to bed early. Try it, and you will thank us.

Mindlessly Eating

The joys of summer are the fun cookouts and copious amounts of baked goods. Winter is known as fluffing season, don’t make summer the same way. Some of you have worked hard to get your summer body don’t let it go to waste. If you know you are going to be eating a lot in one day, eat a little less the day before or the day after. Even better, work out the day you know you are going to be eating a little more than usual. But, we aren’t stopping you from stuffing your faces with chocolate and chips. Just be careful on how much you eat.

Binge Watching

Everyone loves their Netflix nights. Those long night of watching every season of your favorite TV show can be a lot of fun. But, it does put you in a situation of becoming a vampire who hates the sunlight. Don’t be a vampire, go out and enjoy the sun with your friends. If you do want to watch a new TV series, allow yourself to watch one new episode a day. That way you can enjoy your summer while also keeping up with who is hooking up with who and who is next to die.
