Jay Wright is an American college basketball coach. He is currently the head coach for the Villanova Wildcats, a position he has held since 2001. He previously served as head coach at Hofstra University (1994–2001), leading the program to NCAA Tournament appearances in both 2000 and 2001. With Villanova, Wright has led the Wildcats to five Big East conference championships and 12 NCAA Tournament appearances in his 16 seasons as head coach. He’s appeared in three Final Fours, 2009, 2016, and 2018, winning the NCAA Championship in 2016. Wright was named America East Coach of the Year in 1999–2000 and 2000–2001. He was also tabbed Eastern Basketball’s Coach of the Year in 1999–2000.
2001-Present
Wright’s success at Hofstra earned him a coveting head coaching spot at Villanova. He became just the eighth coach in the 81-year history of the school’s program. Wright was able to spark the school’s team that had become stagnant since their success in the 80’s. Over the next 17 years, he grew the program into an elite perennial competitor in college basketball. Wright has made 12 NCAA Tournament appearances, three Final Four appearances, won five Big East conference championships, and a national championship in 2016.

The Office of Sorority and Fraternity Engagement at Iowa State University has updated their procedures for registration and requirements for sorority and fraternity events involving alcohol. Reports say that the new rules will apply to all sorority and fraternity events both on and off-campus and will be effective immediately.
According to Iowa State Daily, the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Engagement worked together with the Office of Student Conduct and University Legal Services to create the procedures and expectations over the last nine months.
An email from Billy Boulden, the Director of the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Engagement, said that their hope is “these revised procedures will create a safer environment for chapters, members, and guests.” The new procedures will cover, definition of an even involving alcohol, requirements for conducting events involving alcohol, mandatory event registration procedures, violations of these procedures, and contacts/resources.

According to the procedures, there are 19 requirements for conducting events involving alcohol and 17 procedures for registering events listed in the document, the first being that alcohol should not be the focus of any sorority or fraternity event, and events must have another source of entertainment.
Chapters are also not permitted to use organization, chapter or club funds to purchase alcoholic beverages. This requirement also applies to slush funds (e.g., passing the hat, money pools, one person buying alcohol for others.)
The procedures also state that sororities and fraternities are now prohibited from hosting “open parties,” meaning that students without a specific invitation from a sorority or fraternity member are not permitted to attend an event where alcohol is present. When registering an event, a preliminary guest list including full names and birth dates of expected guests is required.
Worst of all, drinking games such beer pong or any other activity involving “the consumption of alcohol which involves duress or encouragement related to the consumption of alcohol” are now prohibited. Furthermore, if a chapter fails to register an event, that chapter will be prohibited from hosting future events

Thierry Henry
After playing for Monaco, Juventus, Arsenal, and Barcelona, in 2010, the Frenchman signed on with the New York Red Bulls. With his international background and magical touch on the ball, Henry is mostly responsible for making a name for the Red Bulls. Despite never winning an MLS Cup with the team, he still acquired some excellent stats. Out of 122 games, he scored 51 goals and generated 42 assists.
Robbie Keane
As one of the top scorers in the English Premier League, Robbie Keane, following suit of Beckham, switched over to the MLS in 2011 to play for the LA Galaxy. In his first and second season with the Galaxy, the Ireland native helped the team win two World Cups, and then another one in 2014. The striker played with the team until 2016 where he scored 83 goals in 105 games and was also given the league’s Most Valuable Player Award in 2014.

Sebastian Giovinco
In 2015, the former Juventus striker retired the black and white striped jersey for the Toronto FC one. Originally from Italy, Sebastian Giovinco, came in hot. In his first season, he scored 22 goals and made 16 assists in 33 games, breaking the MLS record for most combined goals and assists in one season. Shortly after that, he was rightfully awarded the league’s MVP award. In 2016, he scored 17 goals and made 15 assists in 28 games. Last season he scored 16 goals with six assists in 25 games, and nearly won the MLS Cup but lost in the final to the Seattle Sounders.
David Villa
The all-time lead scorer in Spanish national history, David Villa, transferred to New York City FC in 2015 with intentions to help both the team and the league grow. He has kept his word. Since being with NYCFC, Villa has scored 66 goals in 101 games. In 2016, he won the Landon Donovan MLS MVP award. With his consistent delivery of top performance play, Villa is helping to shatter the MLS stereotype of the league being a place where international players come to quietly retire.
Laura Bragato is an Italian Instagram model known for being the “sexy face of football” after posting pictures of herself wearing the jerseys of Italy’s biggest clubs, such as Juventus, Inter Milan, Napoli, and Roma. And according to Bragato, it will be her and her belfies will be what sends Juventus through to the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
According to the Daily Star, Bragato said “There’s a saying in Italian, which basically says that in life sometimes you need ‘butt’, in other words, luck to succeed.”

Protests erupted on a Long Island, New York campus Friday as a coalition of Hofstra University students assembled to have a statue of Thomas Jefferson removed from its spot near the school’s primary eatery and organizational hub, and moved to the campus museum.
The protest, which began at noon and went until roughly 3pm, took place in a room just inside the Sondra and David S. Mack Student Center, the statue in question visible through a nearby window. It consisted of brief speeches from representatives of various campus organizations, with a set of ground rules projected on a screen behind them, some of which read: “speak from the I,” “no physical contact without explicit consent!” “No Hate Speech,” and “be the megaphone not the microphone.” Speeches came from members of the Hofstra Collegiate Women of Color, Campus Feminist Collective, Democrats of Hofstra University, and Young Democratic Socialists of America, among others.
A small effort of counter-protestors gathered as well, with calls coming from both sides to place the Founding Father, and owner of over 600 slaves, in appropriate historical context.
The organized effort to move the statue began with a petition created by student Ja’loni Owens two weeks ago, which aims to “remove the sculpture of Thomas Jefferson from in front of the Student Center and to no longer display it on campus.” The statue, which Owens noted was a gift from Hofstra trustee David S. Mack, was erected on the campus in 1999, a nod to the Jefferson-inspired, quadrangle architectural designs which are featured heavily across the campus.
“A sculpture like this belongs in a museum or archive with appropriate context, not displayed on a college campus, especially not in front of a hub of student life,” reads part of the petition, which has received 912 signatures as of Friday.
A counter-petition titled “KEEP The Jefferson Statue at Hofstra University” has received over 1,100 signatures and counting in three days since it as created by Hofstra student Richard Caldwell. Caldwell, who spoke at the protest, noted that he initially intended to withhold comment on the topic of the statue altogether, but felt he was forced to speak up “upon being labeled a white supremacist.”
Caldwell, center, began a petition of his own this week seeking to keep the Thomas Jefferson statue where it is.
“In the end,” Caldwell said at the protest, “we all just want equality. Nobody in this room thinks people should be treated differently for their race, gender, orientation, religion or anything like that. Nobody wants that.”
Both Caldwell’s speech and petition referred to the statue as “a conversation starter,” citing the work of Jefferson as a president and nation’s founder as the very reason for their ability to have such a debate.
Co-sponsors for the protest, however, believe that counter-efforts such as Caldwell’s prove there was little actual intent in taking part in a conversation over the statue’s presence on the campus, particularly on the heels of a last-second counter-protest effort.
“The[Hofstra] Republicans and their affiliates are counter-protesting, but they didn’t get the proper paperwork in to do so,” Hofstra student Adam Hockenberry told COED. Hockenberry, a junior, co-sponsored the protest through his chaptered organization Peace Action Matters, a ‘non-partisan student group dedicated to empowering student advocates and taking action on issues of peace and justice.’ According to Hockenberry, the protest was initially planned to be outside but was forced inside due to fears that the two groups would clash.
“If you think about it,” Hockenberry said, “they have actually been successful in inhibiting what Ja’loni set out to do here. That shouldn’t be the case, but it is.”
While the protest itself was civil, feelings were mixed when it came to how it was run and presented. Despite shouts of “let them speak!” among organizers during speeches by Caldwell and another student in opposition of the statue’s removal, some students still felt the protest, which eventually included outdoor chants of “Black Lives Matter” and “Hey, hey! Ho, ho! Jefferson has got to go!” was less than welcoming to all perspectives.
“I just think it was very improper how they presented themselves,” student Nick Castelli said. “They’re cursing every two seconds, yelling at people, saying that anyone who didn’t agree with them was racist.”
For others, however, the protest seemed to act as proof of the student body’s tolerance and organizational resolve.
“I’ve never experienced a protest like this,” said David Rivas, a student protester. “Having grown up in Texas, it’s rare that a counter-protester would even be given a chance to speak. So the fact that we’re once again sacrificing our voices in order to give white people a chance to make their argument on a stage we set up here speaks to the strength and nature of our efforts.”
First and foremost, happy Rusev Day everyone! Yes, the gimmick that is taking the WWE Universe by storm is none other than Rusev Day. Admittedly I was extremely critical of this gimmick at first. So you’re telling me Aiden English comes out, improvises a song about how great Rusev is, then Rusev comes out and wishes everybody a happy Rusev day…. every day? Sounds like you could get a laugh or two out of it but that’s about it. Was it fitting for someone once as dominant as the Bulgarian Brute? Well, consider this article me eating crow.
It’s excellent and the fans love it. It’s got legs, and it’s ready to run. Rusev is terrific as the goofy, bruising heel and the added flair of Aiden English has only made it better. “Rusev Day” is often chanted in arenas when the superstar himself isn’t even present. At times it has even replaced the “boring” chants the crowd usually reserves for matches they aren’t enjoying, instead now electing to express they’d rather be watching the big man and his musical cohort.
On the March 27th edition of SmackDown Live, it seemed as if the WWE higher-ups started listening. Rusev has been added to the Wrestlemania 34 US Title match. What was originally a Triple Threat between Jinder Mahal, Boody Roode, and Randy Orton is now a Fatal Four Way that includes Rusev. But would WWE really pull the trigger on this? Seemingly altering a storyline, they already had set to appease fan support? What does Rusev’s history with the company say?
Russian Enforcer and US Title Run
Rusev made his main roster debut in the 2014 Royal Rumble coming out 6th. Billed strong from the start it took a joint effort of four wrestlers to eliminate him. He then came back in April on an episode of Raw. He came out the gate as a Brute and was treated as such. Even though he is from Bulgaria, his initial heel run was done as if he was a proud Russian citizen who would fight for Russian ideals and ways of life. A classic trope of playing off current events and tension with other countries by WWE that they have used both successfully (see Iron Sheik) and unsuccessfully (see Muhammad Hassan). By having him win the US Title, it helped shape the anti-American persona. Add in the Ravishing Russian Lana as a manager and a feud with Mr. America himself John Cena, and you have a great run. It all ended at Wrestlemania 31 with his first main roster pinfall loss to Cena. Despite the loss, it was a massive moment for him. He could only go up right?
The League of Nations
It seemed as he was on an upward trajectory but following storylines didn’t help to continue said trajectory. He followed up his Wrestlemania 31 performance with a loss to Cena in an “I Quit” match. He blamed his loss on a miscommunication with Lana thus propelling them into a story in which the two were separated. He ended up in a feud with Dolph Ziggler who had seemingly become romantically involved with Lana, all the while replacing Lana with Summer Rae dressed to look exactly like her predecessor. In this time Rusev also began coming out with the Bulgarian flag effectively dropping Russia from his angle. Following a few more small feuds the real momentum killer came, The League of Nations
The League of Nations was a stable that consisted of four non-American wrestlers. Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, Wade Barrett, and Rusev. On paper that’s a great line up. The stable even held the World Championship (Sheamus) and the US Title (Del Rio) at one point. Unfortunately, the WWE didn’t book them as powerfully as the actual roster deserved. Often booked as a semi-powerful group that you knew the “good guy” would dispatch of. It did not last long and did not help all involved. Half of the stable doesn’t even perform with WWE anymore. Both Barrett and Del Rio no longer work for the company.
After the LON disbanded Rusev went on to defeat Kalisto for his second US Title run, but it never had the same shine his first run had. He later found himself in a feud in which Enzo Amore would hit on Lana. Gone were the days of him destroying main eventers with The Accolade. The days of him being unbeatable. The days of us totally believing this brute would come to the ring in a freaking Russian tank. It seemed that Rusev was just treading water. Until everyone’s favorite day came along…

Finally, it’s Rusev Day!
At first, when he was moved to SmackDown Live with the Superstar Shake up, it seemed it was going to be more of the same. A flag match with John Cena. Getting squashed by Randy Orton in ten seconds. Was he doomed to be a mid-card enhancement guy? Not if Aiden English had anything to say about it.
That fall he was partnered with Aiden English. Another superstar who had been out to sea since his tag partner, Simon Gotch, of the Vaudevillians was released. English tapped back into one of his NXT characters and brought out the sniveling, singing, thespian heel. He began to literally sing Rusev’s praises while Rusev would declare that whatever day he was speaking on was, in fact, Rusev day. The fans ate it up. It’s hard not to catch “Rusev Day” chants in arenas now. Though it seemed the WWE was dead set on keeping him in the enhancement role.
Even as recently as the pay-per-view Fastlane he was in an enhancement match with Shinsuke Nakamura. Albeit a high profile enhancement match, the company was not going to have the Royal Rumble winner and soon to be Wrestlemania headliner lose in the opening match of the proceeding pay per view. It looked as if Rusev was cruising for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. That was until this past SmackDown Live it was announced he would be fighting for the US Title at ‘Mania! Would they be crazy enough to put the belt on him?
My opinion? No. Putting him in the match was to appease fans and get them excited for a match that had some fire behind it but maybe not as much as the company wanted. On the plus side is now we get more Rusev on the main stage and hopefully, it leads to even more. It shows the WWE brass have taken notice and have decided to dip their toe in the pool that is Rusev Day. The fans have hijacked things before in the form of Daniel Bryan, and it could happen again. Maybe not on the World Championship level, but at least the US Title level…

The MLS has devoted an extreme amount of time and effort towards popularizing the league and staffing their rosters with renowned talent. With players such as Landon Donovan, David Beckham, Kaka, Sebastian Giovinco, and Diego Valeri, the league has been rather successful. Competition within the league is growing as fast as the fanbase. Nonetheless, the MLS has run into some obstacles along the way, and this can be seen in the form of signing on players who failed to deliver for their teams. Let’s take a look at five players the league could have done without.
Lothar Matthäus
Infamous for being caught vacationing with his girlfriend in the middle of the season when he was supposed to be rehabbing his back injury, Lothar Matthäus did not contribute much to the MetroStars. Originally from Germany, Matthäus had an outstanding background. He won the 1990 World Cup with West Germany and was named European Footballer of the Year. However, in 2000 he joined the MetroStars at 39 and very naturally did not possess the same drive he once had. He only played one season for the team, and out of his 16 appearances, he scored zero goals.
Claudio Reyna
As the former captain of the Men’s National Team, Claudio Reyna signed on with the New York Red Bulls in 2007; however, the then 33-year-old appeared to be readily susceptible to injury. The New Jersey Native made only a handful of appearances with the team, and out of the 29 games of that season, Reyna scored not one goal. Halfway through his second season, he finally retired.

Denílson
Having previously won the World Cup with Brazil, Denílson then signed with FC Dallas in 2007. At 30 years-old, he was no spring chicken. However, he still had a few more promising years to go. Unfortunately, laziness got the best of Denílson who scored only one goal for the team in eight games. To make matters worse, the attempt was made off of a penalty kick. After less than a season, Denílson retired from Dallas.
Rafa Marquez
One of the most expensive mistakes, Rafa Marquez joined the New York Red Bulls in 2010 after signing a three-year $15 million contract. He turned out to be an incredibly high-maintenance player who collected red cards and suspensions. Regarding his disposition towards his teammates, he had little to no manners. Marquez alluded many times to the fact that he thought there was a significant discrepancy between his level of play and that of his teammates. Simply put, Marquez was an arrogant player with a poor attitude.

Raïs M’Bolhi
The promising Algerian goalie was picked up by the Philadelphia Union in 2015. The Union was hesitant at first to sign Raïs M’Bolhi since it’s not really advised to spend a lot of money on a goalie. Nevertheless, the Union took M’Bolhi on and regretted it shortly after that. The goalie not only delivered a consistently poor performance on the field, but he was also tough to work with. The Union ended up playing younger goalies over him, and finally, in 2015, M’Bolhi was released from the team.
There are two types of people in this: people who consider Breaking Bad to be the biggest television show of all-time and idiots. At Breaking Bad‘s peak, no show on television before, during, or since could match it’s plotting, writing, acting, cinematography, and directing.
When Breaking Bad went off the air, many fans were devastated that the world and characters they had grown to love and hate so dearly would be leaving them forever. However, luckily for all entertainment fans, creator Vince Gilligan wasn’t out of work for long, as he almost immediately went into creating Better Call Saul, a prequel/spin-off that’s arguably as enthralling — albeit in different ways — as its predecessor.
Currently in the middle of shooting season four, Gilligan spoke to some media about Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and where one Jesse Pinkman fits in all this.
“You never know if that character may get revisited in the future,” Gilligan hinted. “Anything’s possible.”
Aaron Paul has previously stated his willingness to reprise Jesse on Better Call Saul.”Hopefully I will be involved but I don’t know when that may be,” he told Variety in 2016.
“I’m not going to say anything more. But I’m absolutely open to the idea. Hopefully it happens. I’m all about it.”
Gilligan also touched on what he imagines Jesse’s post-Walter White life is like, saying that he likes to believe Jesse got away:
“I don’t really know in terms of what he should be doing as a career. I just hope he would get away, and meet somebody nice, and not be a criminal anymore and not face those horrors that he faced. I always liked that character. I always had a soft spot for him.”
The fourth season of the Emmy-nominated series is expected to premiere later in 2018.

April Fools Day, the day where it is acceptable for pranks and to cause a little bit of chaos on your friends and family. It is only right to provide you with a list of great pranks that you should pull to truly get into the spirit of the holiday. From classic pranks to newer ones you will find these helpful and hilarious while also watching your victims drown in embarrassment or at least feel guilty that they fell for it.
10. Whoopee Cushion
To start this list off, we have to add one of the most iconic pranks of all time the Whoopee Cushion. A simple yet effective prank the whoopee cushion has stood the test of time and should be a “must have” in any pranksters bag of tricks. The set up is simple, have your target unknowingly sit on the Whoopee Cushion so the air squeezes out making look as they have accidentally passed gas, which to be honest could be the most embarrassing moment of someone’s life. The surprise on their face will be enough to satisfy any prankers needs.
9. Scare Prank
A fairly simple prank thank anyone can pull. What is the prank? Jump out and scare a person. “Why is this on a Top 10 Pranks list? Does this even count as a prank?” you might ask, well if your goal is to scare a person easily this is the one for you. Out of all the pranking possibilities this one requires next to nothing, only a hiding spot, and your voice (preferably a loud one). All that is needed from you is to hide in a place either behind a door, around a corner, under a bed if you could. Wait for your victim to come close and jump out and yell, it’s that simple! This prank is excellent because of the success rate. You will almost always scare the person and almost always feel accomplished doing it.

8. Poo Hand
A personal favorite the “Poo Hand” is an entertaining one to watch and possibly even more fun to do. Have you ever been in the bathroom in your house and realize “Oh no there is no toilet paper!” well now you can use that to your advantage. All you need is any type of chocolate, chocolate bar or syrup will do just fine. You want to rub those on your hands, you will get a little messy but it will be worth it. When that is done you want to call your victim to get you toilet paper. When they do and open the door up to give you it, rub the chocolate on their hands while you grab it. The result is your friend grossed out thinking there is poo on them and you hysterically laughing.
7. Wake Up Prank
This next one might require some cleanup afterward but is a great prank that someone must do at least once in their life. You need to wait for someone to fall asleep so you might need some patience. For the first one wait until they finally fall asleep you going to want to fill up a bucket of water, or a cup if you don’t want to clean up a huge mess. Sneak up on them when they are sleeping. This is the most important part because if they wake up its all over. Then quickly throw the water in their face, so they wake up to a not so pleasant and wet surprise. You can also do this prank with shaving cream. Put some of it on their face and hands then try to tickle their face. The result will be a person cover in shaving cream and confusion.
6. Baby Powder Blow Dryer
Another messy prank on our list the “Baby Powered Blow Dryer” is a fun prank that is sure to surprise and probably anger any victim especially is they are in a hurry to leave. What you will need is like the name suggests Baby Powder and a blowdryer. All you need to do is pour the powder into the blowdryer, and suddenly you have a ready-made pranking weapon. Wait for the victim to use the dryer and boom, Baby Powder to the face. You may have a messy bathroom but you will have a great prank to talk about.

5. Shaving Cream Tooth Paste
Anyone who has ever accidentally gotten shaving cream in their mouth will tell you that it does not taste delicious. Well, that is the basis for this next prank. The prankster will want to grab a tube of toothpaste (preferably the one the victim uses often) and empty out the toothpaste. After that is done, you are going to want and fill the toothpaste tube back up with shaving cream. It works best if the toothpaste and shaving cream are the same color. Also, it works if the shaving cream is the gel type, so it is more convincing. Now, wait until the next time your victim goes to brush his teeth and enjoy what follows which is usually them spitting and quickly wasting their mouth out in confusion.
4. Carrot TV Batteries
When your television remote does not work, it can be the most frustrating things in the entire world. Now imagine using that frustration in a prank. What you will need is a bag of baby carrots and all the television remotes in your house. You are going to want to replace the batteries in the remotes with the baby carrots, and yes all of them. If you only replace one, it is funny, yes, but doing all of them is frustrating for them but quite hilarious to you as you watch their confusion and anger about what is happening.
3. Tooth Paste Oreos
Oreos are hard to resist let’s face it. They are way too delicious not to eat! For this prank, you will need a box of Oreos and some toothpaste. It is quite an easy prank as in all you need to do is open up the Oreos scrape out the filling and pour toothpaste into them and sticking them back together. Next, you want to leave your new Oreos out where your victim will be able to see them. Wait for them to pick it up and watch the disgust on their face, priceless!

2.Cover The Car
A classic prank for years this prank will require a lot of time and a lot of Post-Its or Saran Wrap. A fairly simple prank but time-consuming. First, the prankster goal is to cover the unsuspecting victim’s car in little Post-It notes. If you want to get creative, you could get all different colored ones to where the car could look like a real pranksters masterpiece. If you don’t want to buy the Post-Its, Saran Wrap is also a great alternative. The idea is the same, to cover the car as much as possible. Since you will need time, you should wait until they are at work, so you have the time to do so. Wait until the end of the workday to see the results of your hard work.
1. The Jello Prank.
A prank that always puts smiles on peoples faces is the “Jello Prank”. This prank requires some time also and cooking ingredients but nothing that is to difficult. If you enjoy watching your friends struggle than this last prank is for you. You are going to want to take any important item of your victims, a wallet or keys would work and place it inside a bowl of jello. When your victims are searching for these items, you’re going to watch to serve them their plate and watch their face when they have realized what has happened.

What A Drag

We open up to what’s left of the heap-sters, a lone Jadis hiding in plain sight next to remains of the slaughter, with Saviors checking in on what’s left of the once allied group. Little do the Saviors know, Jadis did some hunting of her own and hooked herself a big ol’ Negan (Lucille included)!
Negan goes off on a tangent about how this only could have happened by one of his guys not following the program, but ultimately takes responsibility. A sadist, he does still believe, “People are a resource”. While Jadis is rounding up a walker to make friends with Negan, he comes across some snapshots she took (ever the artist) of her people and threatens to burn them if she doesn’t talk.
Two people with possibly the most limited vocabulary to date on this show just opened up to one another about the depths of their loss. In five words, I was pulled in: “My wife’s name was Lucille.” Trinkets and symbols they have in this world now are the only things that remind them of the people they were and who got them through the real world in the first place.
Jadis has her photographs and Negan is sent away without any deals made, just two people parting ways, taking with them what little they have left holding them together. Oh, bonus points for Jadis having connections to an evac helicopter. I can see that coming into play in the future.
Murder Coat Don’t Play

All bets are off when the coat comes on! Rick has gone next level savage when he’s rocking this particular article of clothing. To top it off, he’s on a mission to find those runaway Hilltop hostage Saviors.
Rick hasn’t brought himself to read the farewell letter Carl wrote him. Walking in on a crying Michonne, her letter in hand, definitely doesn’t make him want to read his son’s last words knowing how poignant they must be… but he picks up the letter and put it in murder coat before taking off.
Joining Rick in the woods is a hallucinating Morgan. Those runaway Saviors they were looking for seem to have found them first and brought the duo to their hideout thinking that handing over Rick will bring them back into Negan’s good graces. Rick gives them his word that if they come back with him to Hilltop, he’ll have the wounded treated and they can join the community. Too bad Rick is no longer a man of his word. Enter a hoard of walkers who kindly take out several Saviors while Rick and Morgan wipe the remaining pawns off the board. Checkmate.
Upon returning from the murder mission, Rick hangs up his coat and takes out the letter. Before reading, he turns to Michonne for a long overdue, “I love you.” Naturally, she returns the affection and leaves him with the final words of his late son.
I See Dead People

Ezekiel is determined to get Carol on the search for Henry (little does he know her less than immaculate track record looking after kids) but she doesn’t budge. Once Carol sees Morgan emerge, rambling how he should have been the one to kill the Savior, not Henry, and how that guilt was leading him back down the road to crazy-town, only then does Carol stop chopping wood and pick up a gun to go after Henry. Admittedly, only to keep an eye on Morgan, not because she believes they’ll find the kid safe again.
Down the road they come across a walker with Henry’s impaling stick jabbed through his gut. Not a good sign for the little guy, especially if the walker fell face down on him. Morgan doesn’t want Carol to continue the road with the potential of what is waiting on the other side. He sends her back to Hilltop. He’s tired of losing people and waiting for things to go bad. He sets off to find Rick in the woods.
On the plus side, Carol does find Henry (the real kid, not a bloody hallucination) and scoops him up from a river dwelling that eerily resembled the hideout her young daughter Sophia was last seen hiding before she got bit and found weeks later as a full blown walker emerging from the Greene family barn. Carol and kids, man, not an easy combination.
Ezekiel sees Carol return to Hilltop with Henry calling out his name, arms wide ready for the embrace. It’s small victories like this that give our leaders hope just after putting so many of their own in the ground. In a sweet moment beside the fire with Carol and Ezekiel, she drops her own bombshell of truth, “I had a daughter…” This was a week for opening up and showing vulnerabilities as well as finding the strength to ground oneself again after being faced with so much tragedy.
Biting The Bullet

Tara got the doctor’s note that she’s A-OK and Dwight did in fact shoot her with a clean arrow. This throws a wrench in her whole plan to murder him, which is a nice change of character. Wondering whythe Saviors are now using weapons in lieu of bullets, Rosita has a lightbulb moment that turncoat Eugene is probably manufacturing more bullets for them in the interim. Good thing she knows the place and just what he needs to salvage in order to keep production rolling!
A lot was said in few words tonight. This was a week for self evaluation as well as checking in on how everyone else was mentally and emotionally holding up under the weight of the world, partly attributed to the alliances both made and broken. It’s these times when The Walking Dead allows itself to show more heart than rotting corpse, is when it truly shines. After all, we’re all infected anyway.
Nicole Reed, a 42-year-old Clyde, Kansas woman, has been arrested allegedly having sex with a teenager. According to the Concordia Police Department, Reed, 42, was arrested just after 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 29.
Reed was charged with aggravated indecent liberties with a child and indecent solicitation of a child. She currently faces charges for engaging in consensual sex, lewd fondling or touching, or sodomy with a student. She is being held on a $20,000 bond.
According to reports, Reed was at Concordia Junior/Senior high when she was apprehended where she worked as a substitute teacher for the district. The Concordia Blake-Empire is reporting that Reed is accused of having sex with a minor between 14 and 16 years of age on or around July 4, 2015.
42-year-old Heather Butts of California was arrested on a second-degree felony charge, Nancy Leigh Ann Brann, a former Christian school teacher, was arrested for having sex with a student, Coine Audiat pleaded no contest to having sex with a minor in 2016 and 23-year-old Darci Lake was arrested for an inappropriate relationship.

Jessica Mendoza is one of the color commentators for ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball. She joined the broadcasting team in 2014, as a sideline reporter but eventually got the call to join the announcers in the booth the following year. She initially was just slated to fill in for Curt Schilling, who was suspended from ESPN at the time. After Schilling was fired, however, she was given the job full-time the following January.
Her baseball knowledge is second to none because, well, she was a player for many years. She played for Stanford Cardinal softball team during her entire time in college, playing so well as an outfielder that she was named to the USA National Softball Team. She competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing. While in Athens, Mendoza and Team USA brought home the Gold Medal, and in 2008 won the silver medal.
Not only she is active in the sports world, but Mendoza is also a significant presence in the charity world. She serves as the President of the Women’s Sports Foundation and is also an athletic ambassador for Team Darfur and is a board member of the National Education Association.
Winnie Mandela, a South African anti-apartheid campaigner and former wife of South Africa’s first black president, Nelson Mandela has died at the age of 81 years old. Mandela had been suffering from an infection and was in and out of the nearby Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa. Winnie was pictured hand-in-hand with Nelson Mandela when he walked free from prison after 27 years.
Mandela, born on September 26, 1936, was a member of the African National Congress party and served on the ANC’s National Executive Committee and headed its Women’s League.
Winnie and Melson got married in 1958 and had two daughters, Ezinhle (born in 1959) and Zindzi (born in 1960). She was married to Nelson Mandela for 38 years, including the 27 years during which he was imprisoned. While their divorce was finalized on March 19,, 1996, Winnie continued to be a presence in Mandela’s life despite his remarriage in 1998.

In 1991‚ Winnie Mandela was convicted of kidnapping and being an accessory to assault of Stompie Seipei. Seipei was young activist who was killed by a member of Mandela’s bodyguards‚ the Mandela United Football Club. While originally sentenced to six years in jail, her sentence was reduced to a fine and a two-year suspended sentence on appeal.
Winnie Mandela passed away on April 2, 2018. She was South Africa’s first black First Lady.
Easter Sunday may be over, but there is still fun to be had the day after. I’m not must talking about all the leftover Easter candy that goes on sale today (although, seriously, we should get to that later), but the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, which takes place on April 2, or Easter Monday, this year. We’ve collected some of our favorite photos and videos of the event. Take a look!
What to expect?
The Easter Egg Roll is a tradition dating back to 1878, under President Rutherford B. Hayes. This year, President Donald Trump and the First Lady are hosting the event, making this their second time hosting the event. More importantly, the Easter Bunny himself makes an appearance, and after his busiest day of the year, I might add.
Families were chosen back in February to decide who was going to be invited through a special lottery. In addition to the egg roll the event is named after, there will be other Easter-themed events, like an egg hunt, and reading nooks for the kids to hear stories.
The official White House website for the event explained what is going to happen in more detail:
“This year’s event will feature an egg roll, egg hunt, music stage, reading nook, egg dyeing, cookie decorating, card-making for troops, a coloring wall, lawn bowling, costumed characters, tennis activities and many picture taking opportunities.”
“There will also be a State Egg display on the Ellipse featuring designs from students across the nation. ”
“The Reading Nook lineup includes: First Lady Melania Trump, General Joseph Keith Kellogg, Jr., Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and Marsha Coats, Susan Pompeo, Administrator Linda McMahon, Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway, Secretary Elaine Chao, Secretary Betsy DeVos, Administrator Seema Verma, Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams, Director of Legislative Affairs Marc Short, and Secretary of the Air Force Heather Wilson.”

After a long absence, Marvel’s Fantastic Four have finally been reunited. In celebration of the team’s return, here are 5 facts you may not know about the beloved team and family.
Marvel’s First Super-Team

Aside from Captain America’s comics and occasional super-teammates, the FF was Marvel’s first official super-hero team. Created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee in 1961 the four heroes were meant to be Marvel’s answer to competitor DC’s Justice Leage. The FF’s appeal lay in the fact that this was more than just a random collaboration between heroes for plot purposes: they were a family.
A Fantastic Family

Speaking of family, the past few decades have seen two new additions to the team: the children of power-couple Invisible Woman and Mr. Fantastic. Their son Franklin was born in 1968, though due to the complicated passage of time in the comic world he is still an adolescent. Franklin also happens to be an extremely powerful mutant whose abilities include being able to create his own pocket universes.
Their youngest child Valeria is a much more recent addition to the family, and a much more complicated one. She initially appeared to be the child of Doctor Doom and the Invisible Woman from a future or alternate timeline and spent a few years popping up from time to time using time-travel. Valeria was eventually proven to be the biological child of Mr. Fantastic and his wife and regressed back into a fetus, allowing her to be properly born and raised by the super-couple. Currently a little girl, she has inherited both her mother’s force-field powers and her father’s high intelligence.
An Ever-Changing Roster

The roster of the team has expanded exponentially over the years, though for the most part there’s never more than four members at a time. Other members include Spider-Man, She-Hulk, Black Panther, Storm, Wolverine, Medusa, and Luke Cage to only name a few.
Super Team-Ups
A common practice of Marvel is to add multiple retcons to superheroes backstories in order include the presence of other characters. In the FF’s case, this is most apparent with the Thing and Human Torch.
Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) as a soldier in Vietnam
Long before he gained his current craggy physique the Thing (aka Ben Grimm) had a successful career as a military pilot and astronaut. On one post-Cold War mission, he was assigned by Nick Fury to work with the Canadian soldier Logan (later known as Wolverine) to steal a powerful weapon from the Russians. He would also work with fellow pilot Carol Danvers (the future Captain Marvel) on occasion.
Peter Parker (Tom Holland) in class at Midtown High
Young Johhny Storm was only a teen when he became the Human Torch and spent many of his first years as the fiery hero as a high school student. He soon bonded with and became the best friend of fellow teen hero Spider-man, as well as with his alter ego Peter Parker. Johnny wouldn’t find out the truth about his friend’s dual identity until well after they had graduated from school, however.
Don’t Mess with the Invisible Woman

Though seemingly possessing the most passive power set, the Invisible Woman is undeniably the most powerful member of the team (at least in the comics). While originally Sue Storm was only capable of using force-fields to render herself and other invisible over time she has been able to use them to both defend and attack others. using her force-fields she can create indestructible weapons, augment her own physical strength, and rip apart any construct or human being from the inside out. Luckily for all of the FF villains out there she primarily uses her abilities defensively, creating impenetrable shields capable of holding back a nuclear blast.
The future of the newly reunited team is full of possibilities for both their comics and screen presence. While previous attempts at adapting the FF to film have been notoriously terrible, this resurgence of interest could very well indicate that Marvel Studios will finally take a crack at it and make the team a part of the MCU lineup.
