7 Mistakes You Make When Apologizing

The main difference between a mature personality and an immature one is the ability to admit mistakes, and you should do that not only in your head but also out loud. To apologize is an unpleasant and awkward moment, but it is an important communication tool, so you should know how to apologize properly. It would seem that it’s not difficult to mumble, “I didn’t mean to. I will not do it again.” However, often, you listen to only new reproaches from the offended person in response to an apology. Why is it so hard to believe in your remorse? What typical mistakes do you make, trying to apologize? How to apologize to someone you hurt deeply?

  1. I am sorry, but…

The worst thing you can do is to say, “but” after “sorry.” When you say this short but significant word, everything that you’ve said before it does not matter. Even if you used “but” just to unify the two thoughts, it sounds like you’re taking the apology back.

“I’m sorry, but …” after that, each of us expects to hear a flood of excuses, accusations, insults, in other words, a person expects to hear anything but not remorse. You can say, “I’m sorry” and then “but” only in the case when you are horseback riding, and you’ll ride off dramatically into the sunset after these words.

  1. You apologize in private if the conflict was public.

If you’ve offended a girl in public, you show your cowardice, apologizing privately. Sometimes, it seems that the conflict affects only you and your partner, but everyone who is present at the moment of scandal becomes its unwitting participant. How to properly apologize? A public apology shows your humility and respect for the woman. You hide your pride to change the situation. It is hard not to appreciate such a gesture.

  1. You don’t let her interrupt yourself.

How to apologize to a girl you found on a brides dating site? When a girl tries to interrupt you in the middle of a rant about repentance, try to listen to her. Doing that, you admit that you understand her feelings. In the end, it is not so important to say as many variations of the word “sorry” as possible, than to let the girl express her resentment.

  1. You analyze her.

An apology is not the best moment to psychoanalyze her. You shouldn’t dissect her feelings. It is important for the offended person that you realize the mistakes in your behavior. Attempts to find the objective causes of the conflict and to convince the girl that no one is to blame will only aggravate misunderstanding.

  1. You use exit strategy.

“Have I offended you? Oh, I’m sorry. And what do we have for dinner today?” Such a rapid shift from apologies to another topic does not hint at the depth of your repentance. How to properly apologize to a girl? There is no single rule on how long a tragic silence should last and when you can stop making a guilty face. However, it’s important to focus on an apology, and not to pronounce it as a season talk.

  1. You ask for an apology in return.

Try to keep from demanding a return apology even if you deserve it. This is another attempt to rehabilitate your ego as soon as possible, to change the subject or to look like a victim. Most likely, when a girl calms down, she will understand that she has been wrong. Trying to get an apology as soon as possible you will only aggravate tension.

  1. You don’t try to explain your action.

On the one hand, an apology causes violent outbursts on the part of the girl, on the other hand, you shouldn’t just say, “I’m sorry,” without explaining anything. The act of apology suggests that you’ve done something wrong. The girl probably wants to know why you’ve done that. Try to talk about actions and your thoughts at that very moment, but do not deny your guilt.

The Brand New ‘Westworld’ Season 2 Trailer Is Here

These violent delights do indeed have violent ends.

It’s been a long, long wait for Westworld fans. Season 1 of the Wild West-murder robot show finished all the way back in December of 2016, so needless to say we’ve all been waiting for any sort of teaser, picture, trailer, and/or morsel of information about Season 2.

Lucky for us, a brand new trailer for season 2 has dropped, and man is it good. Season 2 promises plenty of bloodshed & robot rebellion, and in-depth conversations about the philosophy of life that, let’s be honest, most of us don’t really understand.

Westworld tells the story of an amusement park first set up by Robert Ford (Anthony Hopkins.) In Westworld, visitors enter a make-believe Wild West, where they can indulge in every single fantasy they have ever had. The park is inhabited by “hosts,” androids that are designed to look like human beings, each with a particular backstory, that makes them feel like living, breathing people. The main character is Dolores Abernathy (Evan Rachel Wood), the oldest host still in use by the park, she initially thinks she is a rancher’s daughter, but gradually discovers something sinister that lurks beneath the surface of the park.

At the end of the first season, there were also teasers with Samurai “hosts,” and they also pop up in this new trailer so it will be interesting to see how they explore this new aspect of the park.

Westworld was a smash hit for HBO, who very rarely produces content that doesn’t immediately create a massive buzz. Not to mention that three of their shows– The Sopranos, The Wire, and Game of Thrones–are always in the discussion when people talk about the greatest TV shows of all time. Westworld looks to be shaping up as the show poised to take the crown of HBO’s flagship show once Game of Thrones wraps in 2019.

Westworld also stars Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Tessa Thompson and Ed Harris.

Check out the brand new trailer for season 2 of Westworld below.

Top 4 Rookies Of The 2017-2018 NHL Season

The 2017-2018 NHL season has produced some fantastic plays by the league’s veterans, but don’t sleep on the rookies that have come into their own over the course of the season. As the playoffs get closer, let’s shine a light on some of the youngest talents who joined the national league this 2017- 2018 year.

Nico Hischier: New Jersey Devils

Instagram Photo

At only 19 years old Nico was the first overall NHL draft pick in 2017. Hischier joined the New Jersey Devils and immediately started proving himself, scoring a total of 7 points in only four games during the preseason. The Devils head coach John Hynes only has great things to say about his rookie, he’s earned his spot in the second line with Marcus Johansson and Drew Stafford.

Nico is expected to be centering the first line powerplay alongside Johansson, Hall, and Palmieri. Basically anywhere the coach can put Nico he will to ensure they’ll have a great season. If Nico continues on his goal streak, there’s definitely a strong chance at a playoffs spot with the Devils name on it. Hischier is definitely skating his way towards being a Calder Cup candidate. Not to mention his baby face is too adorable for words, so his skating abilities are just an added bonus to the ladies!

Charlie McAvoy: Boston Bruins

Instagram Photo

At only 20 years old McAvoy is one of the best defensive players in the league. Charlie was the 14th overall NHL draft pick in 2016. After finishing up a very successful season at Boston University, scoring 26 points in 38 games when he was only 18 years old. The Bruins knew they just had to have him.

He’s been a real asset to helping the Bruins make it to the playoffs this season. Despite having a health-related setback with his knee, McAvoy was back on the ice skating with his team now. We’re all rooting for you, Charlie!

Alex DeBrincat- Chicago Blackhawks

Instagram Photo

At 20 years old Alex fresh out training camp made the Blackhawks roster at the start of the 2017-18 season. He made his NHL debut on October 5, 2017, in a 10-1 victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins! On October 10th DeBrincat scored his first NHL goal against the Montreal Canadiens on goaltender Carey Price.

Alex is also the second youngest Blackhawks player to score a hat-trick. Which he accomplished on November 27, 2017, against the Anaheim Ducks. Alex’s second hat trick followed shortly after, earning him another record of being the youngest rookie to score two regular-season hat tricks in one season. When Alex scored his third hat trick, the Blackhawks knew they struck gold. DeBrincat set a new rookie record for the Blackhawks and tied with Tony Granato for most hat tricks made by a U.S. born rookie in a season.

Matthew Barzal- New York Islanders

Instagram Photo

At 20 years old Matthew is playing center for the New York Islanders. Barzal was the 16th overall NHL draft pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. Barzal’s first NHL goal took place on October 19, 2017, against Henrik Lundqvist of the New York Rangers.

Barzal’s first multi-goal game and his first hat-trick occurred on December 23, 2017, against the Winnipeg Jets. Which resulted in a 5-2 win for the Islanders. On January 13, 2018, Barzal accomplished one of his proudest achievements yet. In an Islanders 7-2 win over the Rangers, Matthew became the 5th player in the history of the NHL to have two 5-point games in a season before his 21st birthday.

These four rookies are the ones to watch as playoffs get closer, but who actually wins the NHL Rookie of the Year award remains anyone’s guess. These four rookies are arguably the best that have played so far, but there is stiff competition out there for the Calder Memorial Trophy.

Lindsey Pelas is one of those people that make you wonder if human evolution has changed as we know it forever. Like, let’s say you found you found a super religious person who doesn’t believe in evolution and showed them a picture of a woman from the 1960’s. Then, immediately after, you showed them a picture of Lindsey Pelas. How are they going to no longer believe in evolution? Women — and human beings in general — are changing/evolving, and Lindsey Pelas is a prime example.

Pelas, a Louisiana girl living in Los Angeles, has over 7 million followers on Instagram and over 500,000 followers on Twitter. For what should be very obvious reasons, she’s one of my favorite follows on the Gram.

Before taking over Instagram, Pelas appeared in Playboy and was the Playboy Cyber Girl of the Month for May 2014. If you a do a little internet digging, you’ll be able to find those photos and videos no problem. And let me tell you, they are something.

At just 26-years-old with an ever-growing social media account, Pelas is going to be dominating our feeds for at least the next decade.

Five Things To Know About Tim Weah

Instagram Photo

On Tuesday night, Paris Saint-Germain forward Tim Weah made American history. In the 86th minute of the match versus Paraguay, Weah experienced his first debut with the U.S. Men’s National team. In that moment as the 18-year-old ran onto the field with his orange cleats, he became the first player born in the 2000’s to play for the UMNT. Though he is relatively new to professional soccer, Tim Weah is quickly making a name for himself. Here are five things to know about him.

Son of a President

Instagram Photo

If his last name sounds familiar, that’s because it is. Tim Weah is the son of Liberian President, George Weah. However, prior to being the president of an African country, George Weah was a pretty impressive soccer player. In fact, he was so impressive that in 1995, he was named FIFA World Player of the Year. George was the former striker of Chelsea, AC Milan, Manchester United, and PSG. Talk about a tough act to follow, although this doesn’t appear to be a problem for Tim.

Growing Up

Instagram Photo

Weah, the youngest of three, was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 22, 2000. He grew up in both New York City and Florida. In Florida, he played for West Pines United FC, and while in New York he played for the Rosedale Soccer Club in Queens. At 10, he played for U.S. Soccer Development Academy club BW Gottschee. Following this, he had a brief run with the New York Red Bulls Development Academy team.

Playing Overseas

Instagram Photo

At 13, Weah packed his bags and flew over the Atlantic to train with Chelsea. From there, he captured the attention of PSG. He became a valuable player on their academy team. In his first season for the UEFA Youth League, he scored a hat-trick. It was also during this time that he learned to speak French. Meanwhile, he continued to play for U.S. junior teams in addition to the PSG youth academy teams. Then in July 2017, Weah signed his first professional contract for PSG. Shortly after this, Weah played in the FIFA U17 World Cup as a striker for the U.S. and scored a hat-trick against Paraguay.

Paris Saint-Germain

Instagram Photo

A week after his 18th birthday, Weah made his first appearance with PSG. With forward Neymar out for the season due to an injury, Weah’s shining opportunity came in the 79th minute when he was substituted in for Giovani Lo Celso. Despite coming very close to scoring, Weah’s attempt was stopped by the goalkeeper. Although, Weah will have plenty of time in the future to rack up goals for PSG seeing as he signed on to play for them until 2020.

Hidden Talents

Instagram Photo

Besides being skilled with the ball, Weah is also skilled with a paper and pen. He’s passionate about writing music and hopes to pursue a potential career as a Trap Soul artist. So far since 2017, he has created six songs. Along with being a top professional soccer player, he’s also looking to one day become a music producer with studios in both New York and Liberia.

Lindsey Pelas: Hottest Photos on the Internet

Lindsey Pelas, a 20-something Louisiana girl living in Los Angeles, California, has racked up has over 7 million followers on Instagram and over 500,000 followers on Twitter. Not hard to see why.

In the past, Pelas has modeled for Playboy and was the Playboy Cyber Girl of the Month for May 2014. Those pictures certainly are something, however, we can’t post those pictures here (for what should be obvious reasons). However, Pelas provides her fans with enough content on Instagram to keep them occupied enough as is.

via FHM:

FHM: Let’s talk pillow talk. Guys are dying to hear what it’s like to be in bed with Lindsey Pelas.

Lindsey Pelas: “Well, there’s a lot of Netflix and a lot of napping! Ha. No, but sexually I can’t really comment. I think sex changes with relationships and moods and it’s always different. I’m all about the moment, not routine.”

FHM: And, naturally, the morning always includes homemade breakfast in bed for you, right?

Lindsey Pelas: “I’m a relationship girl so usually we’re waking up with shit to do! Haha. I’m down for a quick bite of something delivered but the breakfast-in-bed song and dance isn’t my style. Who’s gonna do those dishes?”

FHM: What’s the hottest thing a guy can say and/or do for his woman?

Lindsey Pelas: “I think respect is hot. It takes a strong, confident man to appreciate a strong, confident woman. A man who isn’t intimidated or competitive, but is confident enough to empower a partner… I find that really sexy.”

According to Pelas herself, her, uh, “talents” are totally natural, which gives her huge points in our book.

Almost Every Member Of An IU Fraternity Is Sick With The Same Illness

According to reports, nearly every single member of a fraternity at Indiana University fraternity has fallen ill with the same virus. Chuck Carney, a spokesman for IU, said he did not want to say which fraternity was affected by the virus, however, he did disclose that they appear to be ill with a “highly contagious” gastrointestinal virus. 50 of the fraternity’s 52 members are currently ill and are experiencing the same symptoms.

At this time, Carney said that while it’s not explicitly clear what virus the students have, he says it appears to be similar to the norovirus. He also said that the illness is not a campus-wide issue.

The Herald Times-Online reports that the virus first started spreading last week, with nearly every member of the unnamed fraternity falling ill by Wednesday, March 28. At this time, none of the students have been hospitalized.

via Herald Times-Online:

“It’s really a privacy concern,” Carney said. “We have advised them to act in their own best interest as well as those of fellow students. If they do that, the disease should run its course in one to three days. This is not something that’s widespread on campus.”

The infected fraternity members have been quarantined having been asked to stay in the frat house for at least 24 hours so they do not get anyone else sick.

Steve Nash Net Worth 2018: How Much Is The Steve Worth?

$

Steve Nash is a former NBA point guard who played for three teams during his 18-year career. The teams he played for during his time in the NBA were the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, and Los Angeles Lakers. He’s known for his high basketball IQ and excellent court vision. Nash was an 8-time NBA all-star selection, 3-time All-NBA first team selection, and 2-time MVP of the league. It was also recently announced that Nash would be apart of the 2018 NBA Hall of Fame inductees.

Let us take a look at how his on-court accomplishments affected his wallet.

Steve Nash net worth as of 2018: $95 million

I’d say his carer turned out to be a very fruitful one for his bank account. Starting with the 2000 NBA season, Nash saw a steady increase in his salary. His per year salary rose from $5.5 mil to $8 mil to an eventual high of $13,125,000 during the 2009-2010 NBA season.

Early life and college

Steve Nash was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, but shortly after birth, his family moved to Canada where he would be raised and become a citizen of the country.

Nash’s first love for sports did not come on the basketball court but rather on the soccer field and in the ice rink. His father played professional soccer and was influenced by his brother to play ice hockey while they were growing up together. It is Canada; it’s almost like a right of passage that you have to step on the ice at least once in your life. It wasn’t until his teenage years that basketball became apart of his life.

Nash found it hard to garner enough attention from highly touted basketball programs. He was eventually awarded a scholarship from Santa Clara University. Nash made an impact on the university from the jump. Santa Clara won the WCC tournament and awarded entry into the NCAA tournament. In the tournament, Nash led the Broncos to a huge upset win over 2 seed Arizona.

Steve Nash would ultimately play in three NCAA tournaments during his time at Santa Clara. He won conference player of the year twice. His best season was his junior year when he averaged 20.9 points, 6.8 assists, and shot over 40% from both the field and from three-point range.

NBA career 1996-2004

Instagram Photo

Steve Nash drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the 1996 draft. The 1996 draft class is considered one the deepest in history. Other players selected that year include Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Ray Allen, Stephon Marbury, and Ben Wallace.

This would be the first of two stints with the Suns organization. During his first go around with the Suns it’s safe to say it was uneventful. Nash was not utilized much and only averaged a little over 10 min per game in his rookie campaign. He would only last another season with the Suns before being traded to the Dallas Mavericks.

The next six years of his life would be spent in a Mavericks uniform. By his third season with the Mavericks Nash was finally fully living up to his potential. Nash was paired up with star Dirk Nowitzki to create a dynamic one-two punch. He saw his points per game rise to over 17 ppg and selected to two all-star teams. He would eventually become a cap casualty and the Mavericks decided to build around Nowitzki instead of Nash.

NBA career 2005-2015

Instagram Photo

During these years is where Steve Nash built a legacy that will last forever. After hitting free agency, Nash signed with the Phoenix Suns and thus started his second and much more productive stint with the organization.

The head coach for the Suns at the time was Mike D’Antoni who runs a fast up-tempo offense with less focus on the defensive side of the court. This system was a perfect match for Nash’s skill set. What happened next will go down into NBA history books.

Nash won both of his MVP awards during this time with the Suns; he is the first Canadian player to be awarded the honor. Nash would lead the NBA in assists five times during his time with the Suns. Amari Stoudemire was the Robin to Nash’s Batman during these productive seasons in Pheniox. The duo would make the playoffs five times together. The deepest playoff run coming in 2006 where the Suns fell in the to Nash’s former team the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals.

After the 2011-2012 season ended Nash was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. He would spend the remaining two years of his storied NBA career with the franchise. His time with the Lakers was marred by injury and lack of chemistry with players Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard. Nash would retire after the 2014-2015 season.

Steve Nash will be inducted into the basketball Hall of Fame with the 2018 class. A perfect end to a great career.

Fantastic Four Returns! Here Is What You Need To Know

Marvel’s “First Family”, The Fantastic Four returns to the comic landscape after a three-year hiatus in August 2018! All the members of The Fantastic Four have not been seen together since the end of the epic Marvel crossover event Secret Wars(2015) where the team ultimately disbanded leaving fans without their favorite team of superheroes. Marvel has announced officially on March 29th that the team will finally be returning with Fantastic Four #1, written by longtime The Amazing Spiderman writer Dan Slott with art from Sara Pichelli.

Why was the Fantastic Four canceled in the first place?

The Fantastic Four was canceled in April of 2015 with issue #645, leaving a Marvel without their oldest and most famous characters. There are some various reasons why many believe Marvel canceled this publication.

The first and most apparent was poor sales. As we have seen with Marvel’s recent behavior, they are not afraid to cancel books that are not selling. Even though the team has been a staple in the comic book universe for years, sales were not up to par with what Marvel was looking for at that time.

The second reason people feel that the book was canceled is that of the ongoing fight that Marvel and Fox had with the movie rights. The success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has proven that Marvel Studios knows what they are doing when it comes to making movies. The legacy and importance of the Fantastic Four is one that Marvel would love to show on the big screen but they, unfortunately, do not have the movie rights because they sold it to 21st Century Fox years prior.  With Fox not wanting to budge on giving the rights back to Marvel, they canceled the book so they can focus on promoting characters they have all the legal rights.

Where has the team been?

Instagram Photo
Since the Fantastic Four team has not been active, there are still some characters that are active in the Marvel Universe. Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch has floated around helping out the superpowered species called the Inhumans and mainly worked along with other teams and not in a very prominent role. Ben Grimm aka The Thing has mostly been hanging around other super-powered groups as well such as the Guardians Of The Galaxy. The main antagonist of the Fantastic Four, Dr. Doom has had a change of heart and now operates as a good guy wearing his version of the Iron Man suit and occasionally helping out others. As for Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic and Susan Storm aka Invisible Women and their children Franklin and Valaria, well we haven’t seen them. The last time they played a role in comics was when They helped re-make the universe at the end of Secret Wars back in 2015.

In December of 2017, Marvel released Marvel Two-In-One #1 where once again The Thing and The Human Torch teamed up but this time to travel the multiverse to go and find Reed and Sue as well as the kids with Dr. Doom involved as well. There was a theory that Reed and Sue are out in the multiverse. This story is still ongoing so more information will be released in time. This is a return to familiarity as fans are finally are getting a version of the Fantastic Four that they so desperately want.

What does the future hold?

Instagram Photo
With Marvel now publishing a book that centers around Fantastic Four characters one can only assume that this will lead to the return of the full team. The theory is the Marvel Two-in-One will lead directly into the group rejoining. Fans are still asking some questions. , Will Dr. Doom turn evil once more? As much as the Fantastic Four are great on their own, the greatness comes from their villains, and there are very few that are as iconic as Dr. Doom. With five months still to go and more information to be released there is only speculation to what the new book will be like, but what we do know is that the Fantastic Four will be back in all their glory.

Jason Kidd is a former NBA player who played on four teams during his 19 NBA seasons. After his playing days were over Kidd went on to be the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks. He is a 10-time all-star, 5-time All-NBA first team selection, and won an NBA championship with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011.

So, how much is the former player/coach worth?

Jason Kidd Net Worth as of 2018: $73 million

Jason Kidd achieved most of his net worth through his salaries both as a player and coach in the NBA. Kidd signed four contracts as a player totaling over $24 mil each. The most substantial contract he signed was a 6-year $99 mil deal with the New Jersey Nets in 2003. Kidd’s most productive season came during the 2008-2009 NBA season with a salary of $21,323,000.

Early Years

Instagram Photo

Kidd was born in San Francisco, California on March 23rd, 1973. Basketball was in his blood from a young age. Kidd garnered much attention through the AAU leagues he participated in. He would frequently play against fellow future NBA start point guard Gary Payton.

Kidd had a highly productive high school career and honored as one of the 35 Greatest McDonalds All-Americans. He was named high school player of the year and left a legacy that included becoming the all-time prep school leader in assists. Kidd was offered scholarships from all the top basketball programs in the country. He would eventually select the University of California, Berkely over programs that included the University of Arizona, University of Kansas, and the University of Kentucky.

Kidd was productive from the onset at Cal. He was awarded the National Freshman of the Year highlighted by his NCAA freshman record for assists with 110. He would go on to be selected to two first-team All-Pac 10 teams and was named Pac 10 player of the year in 1994. The Universtiy of California would later retire his jersey to honor his accomplishments with the school.

1994-2001

Jason Kidd selected by the Dallas Mavericks with the 2nd overall pick in the 1994 NBA draft. He would go on to play two and a half seasons with the Mavericks. He would eventually return to the organization later in his career. His first go around with the Mavericks started out on a high note earning Co-Rookie of the Year honors with Grant Hill. Kidd was teamed up with Jamal Mashburn and Jim Jackson during his time with the Mavericks. Turmoil started to arise in his third season in Dallas as Kidd would clash with players and coaches; this ultimately led to his trade to the Phoenix Suns.

Kidd would end up playing five seasons for the Suns. During his five seasons, Kidd was named to two All-NBA first teams, led the league in assists for three consecutive seasons and made the playoffs all five seasons. After the 2000-2001 season, he was traded to the New Jersey Nets.

2002-2008

Instagram Photo

Kidd joined a talented Nets squad headlined by Kenyon Martin, Kerry Kittles, Richard Jefferson, and Keith Van Horn. The Nets would reach the 50 win plateau for the first time in franchise history in Kidd’s first season with the team. Kidd’s veteran acumen along with the young talent the Nets had flourished and reached the franchises first NBA Finals. In the finals, the Nets would fall to the Shaquille O’Neal, and Kobe Bryant led Los Angeles Lakers.

The following season the Nets would make a second consecutive trip to the NBA Finals. This time they were matched up against the Tim Duncan led San Antonio Spurs. The result would be the same as the year before as the Nets lost a tough series in six games.

Coming off of the two consecutive finals runs Kidd was rewarded with a 6-year $99 mil contract from the Nets. Kidd was named first-team All-NBA three times and was the leagues assist leader twice. In the middle of the 2007-2008 season, Kidd was traded back to the franchise that he started his NBA career with the Dallas Mavericks.

Upon his return to the Dallas Mavericks, he was teamed up with Dirk Nowitzki. The Mavericks were consistently on the cusp of an NBA championship but could not get over the hurdle. With Kidd’s leadership, the Dallas Mavericks would finally achieve their highly sought after NBA championship trophy in 2011. The Mavericks defeated the Miami Heat, who trouted out LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh.

After the championship year, Kidd’s age caught up with him. He spent one final season with the New York Knicks. The Knicks made the playoffs that year but lost in the second round to the Indiana Pacers. Kidd announced his retirement on June 3rd, 2013.

NBA coaching career

Shortly after announcing his retirement from playing basketball, Kidd was hired as the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets. In Kidd’s first season as a coach, the Nets would finish 44-38, enough to make the playoffs. In the playoffs, the Nets were bounced in the Eastern Conference semi-finals at the hands of the Miami Heat.

The Milwaukee Bucks then acquired the rights to Kidd on July 1st, 2014, making him the head coach of his second franchise in as many years. Kidd turned the Bucks around quickly taking the team from 15 wins the previous season to 41 wins in his first year with the franchise. Kidd made the playoffs twice with the Bucks before being let go in the middle of the 2017-2018 season.

Jason Kidd will be inducted into the basketball Hall of Fame as part of the 2018 class.

Here’s The Best Sister Jean Memes As We Head Into Final Four Weekend

What has been the best part of the 2018 NCAA tournament? Was it the improbable 16 seed UMBC taking down 1 seed Virginia? Or was it Michigan’s stunning buzz beater against Houston? Maybe it was the fantastic back n forth overtime game between Duke and Kansas? Let me tell you it was none of those. The best part of this tournament has been the rise of Sister Jean and the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers.

Instagram Photo

That 6 is not referring to Toronto’s area code, but the 6 teams Loyola-Chicago will have taken down when they win it all this year.

And you know why they will win? Because…

Instagram Photo

Sister Jean has a higher power at work here. Sorry, Michigan, Villanova, and Kansas but you don’t stand a chance.

Instagram Photo

We now, unfortunately, know what weird fetish porn this guy is into. I was posed a hypothetical once; Would you rather have your girlfriend know where you are at all times or have her see your entire search history on PornHub? Without a doubt, my answer is to know where I am at all times, but this guy’s search history clearly delves much deeper into the dark side of the sexually explicit arts than mine.

Instagram Photo

Savage Sister Jean has not held back during this tournament. Get in her way, and you’ll receive her holy water.

Also for all the haters out there complaining about seeing too much Sister Jean, she has a message for you…

If you still have not gotten your fill of Sister Jean(basically if your not that Kansas St. fan) check out the “Top 11 Sister Jean Facts” below.

The Beta Zeta chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at Southern Methodist University has been suspended for four and a half years due to code of conduct violations. Officials at SMU announced the suspension on Monday, March 26. According to reports, in order to join the fraternity, pledges were forced to “consume onions, hot sauce, eggs and milk,”

According to SMU’s school newspaper, The Daily Campus, the fraternity was suspended after an investigation into hazing offenses by the fraternity. The Daily Campus reports the fraternity members forced new members to “consume onions, hot sauce, eggs and milk” and “required or encouraged” new members to drink alcohol.

SMU told Pi Kappa Alpha to cease all organizational activity while the university conducted its investigation.

via The Daily Campus:

The fraternity also participated in “The Gauntlet,” a booze-hazing ritual explicitly prohibited in the organization’s current accountability agreement. Another instance was a call to the SMU Police Department needing assistance at an off-campus location in February. When The Daily Campus originally requested the police report, the department only released minimal details after a ruling by the attorney general.

The email also alleges “underground” membership tactics used by the fraternity and the discovery of the smell of marijuana at an off-campus location in February. The suspension means PIKE will be required to immediately leave the chapter house and cannot host any PIKE-sponsored events. The university has arranged alternative living arrangements for those who lived in the house, and will provide “other resources to help with their transition,” the spokesman said.

Pi Kappa Alpha is the third fraternity to be suspended from the SMU campus since Spring 2016.

In response to incidents like these, other fraternities such Phi Kappa Psi have made numerous changes to their code of conduct in an effort to address the issues that have arisen. In addition, schools such as Texas State have introduced new Greek Life rules to try and prevent these problems.

These reports come amidst similar allegations that have been made against fraternities nationwide, including Sigma Alpha Epsilon at East Carolina University, who were shut down for hazing and the Lamda Chi Alpha chapter at the University of Arkansas which has been accused of taking sexually explicit photographs of women without their permission.

In response to incidents like these, fraternities such Phi Kappa Psi have made numerous changes to their code of conduct in an effort to address the issues that have arisen. In addition, schools such as Texas State have introduced new Greek Life rules to try and prevent these problems.
