Gabriella Papadakis, a 22-year-old French Olympian ice dancer, suffered an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction during one of her routines at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.
The 22-year-old French Olympian, who was dancing to singer Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” with her partner Guillaume Cizerone during the malfunction, had her left breast exposed on live television, something said that the incident was her “worst nightmare”.
The French Ice Dancing team finished in second with a final score of 81.93, behind only Canada’s Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir (83.67). Furthermore, American competitors Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue finished in third.
“It was pretty distracting, kind of my worst nightmare happening at the Olympics. I told myself, ‘I don’t have a choice. I have to keep going,’ and that’s what we did. I think we can be proud of ourselves being able to deliver a great performance with that happening.
“I felt it right away and I prayed. That’s about what I could do,” Papadakis said after the routine.
The free dance portion of the ice dancing event will take place on Tuesday, February 20 at the Gangneung Ice Arena. The 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea began on February 9 and will run until Sunday, February 25.
With partner Guillaume Cizeron, Papadakis is a two-time World champion (2015–2016), a four-time European champion (2015–2018), a three-time Grand Prix Final medalist (2014 bronze, 2016 silver, 2017 gold), and a three-time French national champion (2015–2017). They have won three gold medals on the Grand Prix series. Earlier in their career, they won silver at the 2012 Junior Grand Prix Final and at the 2013 World Junior Championship.
On the go-home show before the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, the superstars of Monday Night Raw will be looking to tear the house down to peak fan’s interest for Sunday’s special event. Nia Jax recently announced that she will call out “The Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka on tonight’s show before their eventual match at the Elimination Chamber event.
Tensions are also heating up in the Raw tag team division. A rumored match for Elimination Chamber features The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) going up against The Revival (Dash & Dawson). But it seems as if Titus Worldwide may want their turn first at the tag team straps.
Impact Wrestling founder and 10-time world champion Jeff Jarrett has been announced as an inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018. Ain’t he great? Jarrett isn’t likely to appear on tonight’s telecast, but expect an amazing video package for this in-ring veteran.
Another WWE Hall of Famer has been rumored for tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw. PWInsider‘s Mike Johnson wrote that “Although I have not yet confirmed his role, WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page is slated to be at this Monday’s Raw in Phoenix, Arizona.”

A 7th-grade student shot himself inside Jackson Memorial Middle School in Jackson Township, Ohio. The unidentified 7th-grader was taken to a local hospital where his condition is unknown. The boy reportedly shot himself inside a boys’ bathroom.
All four of the district’s elementary schools will remain closed today. Currently, parents and other family members are gathering outside the school to be reunited with their children.
According to school officials, they are currently working on an orderly dismissal. Furthermore, local authorities said that the initial police presence was out of “an abundance of caution.”
There is no word on if the victim will be identified or what his condition is.
The Jackson Local School District released the following statement on Facebook:
A Jackson Memorial Middle School student suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound this morning. Safety Services are on the scene at this time. The Middle School and High School are on lockdown at this time.
Students will be released to their parents in the near future. All four elementary schools will remain closed for today.
There is no word on if the shooting was on purpose or accidental. Jackson Township Police Chief Mark Brink said the student shot himself in a bathroom around 7:50 AM local time.
Jackson Memorial Middle School is located at 7355 Mudbrook St NW, Massillon, Ohio. The shooting at Jackson Memorial Middle School comes 6 days after the deadly shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida.
The Theta Chi fraternity chapter at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has been suspended until October 2018 due to a series of student conduct violations.
According to reports, the student-led Committee on Student Organizations found the chapter violated the code of conduct in November 2017 multiple times.
On November 4, 2017, three underage females drank alcohol at a party thrown by Theta Chi. One woman, a high school student, was taken to the hospital for detoxification treatment. Furthermore, the hospital found Rohypnol in her system. On November 18, university police responded to party thrown by the fraternity at the chapter house. Reportedly, members of the fraternity did not listen to authorities about containing the size of the party. Additionally, an underage female was served alcohol.
Finally, on November 20, an unidentified student reported to the Fraternity and Sorority Life Office that a member of Theta Chi sent a text message to a woman asking her to write the Greek letters for “Theta Chi” and “rush” on her breasts. Following the one-year suspension, the fraternity will be placed on probation with alcohol restrictions until November 25, 2018. Theta Chi will then be on general probation until November 18, 2019.
According to the Journal-Sentinel, Theta Chi will not be permitted to admit a fall pledge class or hold events and activities. Furthermore, chapter members also will be required to complete workshops on healthy and respectful relationships and sexual consent.
This is the latest fraternity suspension in the last year, as schools such as Indiana University, the University of Michigan, Ohio State University, Texas State, Florida State, Ball State, Louisiana State and Penn State have all suspended fraternities.

Rowan Cheshire is a 22-year-old a British freestyle skier who competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, qualifying for the halfpipe skiing final.
Cheshire began freestyling skiing competitively 2013 FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup in Norway, placing 17th. At the 2013 World Junior Championships, Cheshire won a bronze medal. The following year, in 2014, she became the first British woman skier to win a halfpipe competition on the FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup. Her victory marked the first Freestyle World Cup win for a British female skier since Jilly Curry won an aerials competition in 1992.
In 2014, while competing at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, Cheshire was knocked unconscious during training. After the crash, Cheshire was forced to withdraw from the Olympics, as she suffered a broken nose and severe concussion. However, Chesire eventually healed and qualified for the 2018 Olympic Games in PyeongChang.
Speaking to Sky Sports after her Olympic runs, Cheshire said:
“Just being able to put a run down was such an amazing experience and it was such a dream for me because the last time at the Olympics I didn’t even get to compete. I’m so happy with my performance. The training went so well, I was just chilled and relaxed. I put down one of the best runs I have done in a while and I skied the best I have done in a long, long time.”
While Chesire was eliminated, at just 22-years-old, she could definitely qualify for the 2022 Winter Games.

Black Panther, starring Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira, is the latest release from Marvel Studios and the newest installment of its cinematic universe. The movie tells the story of T’Challa, the king of the fictional African nation of Wakanda and eponymous hero, as he faces off against an enemy that threatens to destroy everything T’Challa holds dear.
It has seen $404 million in worldwide box office returns and over $235 million in domestic numbers, per Box Office Mojo. It had the fifth-highest grossing opening for any film ever, yes ever. It was also the third-highest grossing movie in history for a four-day weekend. It has been a massive coup for Marvel, as it is clear the film has resonated with its audience and is currently one of the most talked about topics in the country.
Not only is the film seeing massive financial success, critics have been responding to it very positively as well. It’s currently sitting at a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, now making it the number one highest rated movie on the site, based on the number of reviews. It holds an 87% MetaScore, which aggregates critics’ reviews and averages them.
IGN says “Black Panther delivers the goods as an adventure film, a political statement, and a cultural celebration.” Entertainment Weekly adds that ” [Black] Panther’s nuanced celebration of pride and identity and personal responsibility doesn’t just feel like a fresh direction for the genre, it’s the movie’s own true superpower.”
Not only is the movie a rousing success, its musical companion Black Panther: The Album has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard music charts.
It’s safe to say that people cannot get enough of Black Panther and fans won’t have to wait long to see more of him and his supporting cast, as they will appear in the next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Infinity War, which premieres in May.
A teenage boy from Ohio, John Staley III, has been charged with plotting a mass shooting at an Ohio high school has been sentenced to four years in an adult prison.
The case, which can be tied back to 2016, started when a classmate of Staley’s overheard discuss a shooting plot on the school bus. Staley had been taken into police custody before a shooting plan could happen at the school.
What happened?
According to officials, Staley had been suspended from Hilliard Davidson High School in 2016, after a classmate heard him discuss a shooting plot on the school bus, which was not carried out. Officials later found at least three school diagrams to map out a shooting that Staley had designed, as well as lists of weapons and ammunition, also written by Staley. Reportedly, he also tried to recruit other students for help. Authorities added that electronic devices belonging to Staley contained searches on how to obtain guns, making explosives, ammunition, Nazis and school shooters.
Joe Gibson, Special Assistant Franklin County Prosecutor, later explained the evidence more in depth, according to NBC 4:
“He researched firearms. When it became difficult to get firearms he researched parts of firearms, so he could assemble them at the school. Before the attack he researched and traded around racist imagery.”
According to The Columbia Dispatch, Franklin County Common Pleas Judge David E. Cain there was “very little chance” that a shooting would have happened, according to evidence, but added that “even a slight chance is way too much.”
According to Daily Mail, Special Assistant Prosecutor Joseph Gibson added that prison was “the only appropriate sentence” and that “the defendant should not be rewarded for not being able to carry it out.”
Defense attorney Steve Palmer, who was just one of Staley’s two defense attorneys, has said that he felt the case should not have happened in adult court and plans to appeal the juvenile court ruling that sent it there.
Reportedly, letters and psychologists’ reports influenced the judge to give a minimum sentence of three to 11 years in prison.
Who is John Staley III?
Staley was 16 when he was arrested in October 2016, after the fellow student who overheard his shooting plan contacted a school resource officer. A Juvenile Court judge later transferred the case to adult court in September 2017.
According to Daily Mail, during a pre-sentencing interview, Staley originally claimed that what happened was “a sick joke that got out of hand.” He reportedly told the following to the judge:
“I never meant for it to go this far…Please have mercy on me, sir.”
According to NBC 4, he also made the following plea before the judge:
“I am gravely sorry to my friends, family and people I’ve affected with these actions. I never meant for this to go this far. I am sorry I have to be in front of you today your honor, please have mercy on me sir.”
Cain’s response was as follows:
“Your actions causes great, great concern, that is why it is a 1st degree felony. It is not enough to say later that it was a joke. From what I have read I think there was very little chance that it would have occurred, but even a slight chance is way too much.”
Under the sentence, Staley is eligible to apply for judicial release after serving six months in prison. He is also credited for the 349 days he spent in a juvenile detention center.
Tonja Blackmon, a teacher in the juvenile detention center where Staley was held, has said the following about Staley in his defense, claiming he had been reformed:
“This is a child that has been rehabilitated. I don’t see any of that racist or violence or anger. And neither do the other teachers, they wouldn’t have written a letter for him if they did.”
Palmer also said the following in defense of Staley:
“You want to make this kid a racist; send him to prison. You want to make this kid a criminal; send him to prison. You want to make this kid dangerous; send him to prison.”

In a first for the South Korean tech giant, the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ will launch as soon as the device is announced at the World Mobile Congress 2018 in Barcelona, Spain. After the phone is properly unveiled to the world, Samsung will be accepting pre-orders for the phone through their official website and phone carriers will follow suit when pre-orders go live.
While we don’t have a definite price for the phone yet, it looks like the phones will stay in between the $720 to $840 range of last year’s Samsung Galaxy S8/S8 Plus. Samsung Galaxy S9 Features:
Galaxy fans can also rejoice as Samsung has finally listened to the cries of Galaxy S8 owners and moved the fingerprint scanner to the back of the device. Also revealed in the leaked photo is that the phone would remain water and dust resistant, would still allow wireless charging and that the phone would retain the iris scanner from the Galaxy S8. Apparently, Samsung has been trying to keep up with Apple and the Iris Scanner found in the S9 and S9+ would have “deep facial recognition”, although this could be a feature kept for just the S9+.
Animoji Clone
Taking cues from Apple’s recent “Animoji” released on the recent iPhone X, Samsung looks to be debuting a similar feature in the S9 suite of phones. With what looks to be 3D facial animated emojis, the S9 will be able to record your facial expressions and animated them onto a 3D emoji of your choosing. No word if this is exclusive to the S9+ or not but it looks like it is making its way to the S9 as well thanks to some recent promos put out by the company.
Camera Upgraded
Also receiving a significant upgrade is the phone’s camera which will feature a first for smartphones, a 12MP Dual Pixel camera with OIS (f/1.5, f/2.4) which has the biggest aperture for a camera on a phone. This robust dual lens camera will allow users to snap and shoot amazing photos/videos straight from their smartphone and allows for a “Super Slow Motion” mode which slows down videos incredibly smooth!
Alwin Chen, 18-year-old Clarksburg High School student, has been charged with carrying a loaded handgun and knife to class in Montgomery County, Maryland. In a hearing scheduled for today, Tuesday, February 20, his lawyers argued that Chen should be given the chance to post bond. The judge denied the lawyers’ request,
Chen was arrested after school on Thursday, February 15, just one day after the deadly shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. David Felsen, one of Chen’s lawyers, said “there are no allegations by the police or by the state’s attorney’s office of any intention to harm anyone.”
According to prosecutors, Chen had a physical “list of grievances” against other students on his person at the time of arrest. Later, when investigators later searched his home they said the cache of weapons was located. When detained, Chen told police that he had a gun in his backpack and a knife in his shirt pocket.
“I think he is a scared kid,” Jill Michaels, another lawyer for Chen, said. “Mr. Chen has been extremely cooperative with the police and with every official in the case. He is 18-years-old. He has never had any contact with anyone in the criminal justice system,” Felsen said. “I think it’s fair to say this honor roll student is frightened. He is a little unsure as to what’s going to happen down the road.”
Neither attorney were willing to discuss details of the case, but Felsen believes there’s a strong argument for allowing Chen out on bond at the conclusion of Tuesday’s hearing.
Felsen said the issue with bond is a “twofold concern” — one, whether or not the defendant will appear in court, which he said is not a question in Chen’s case. But the other concern lies in whether or not the defendant is deemed a threat to the community or himself.
Chen was denied bond at his hearing on Tuesday, February 20th.
On Tuesday, the NCAA appeals panel laid the hammer down once again as they upheld its decision regarding the Louisville Men’s Basketball team sex scandal, stripping the program of its 2013 National Championship as well as 123 victories and around $600,000 in conference revenues.
The men’s basketball team and its former coach Rick Pitino were involved in a sex scandal in 2015 in which former player and head of basketball operations Andre McGee gave improper benefits to prospective Louisville players. These benefits including stripteases as well as sex acts for these prospects as well as current Louisville players. Following these allegations, the NCAA voted to suspend Pitino for five games (Pitino is no longer the head coach following his involvement in another scandal), they also imposed a four-year probation on the program and vacated the aforementioned 123 wins and its 2013 title.
Louisville interim President Dr. Greg Postel said the following in a statement:
“From Day One, the university has admitted that the actions of the former operations director and any others involved under previous leadership were offensive and inexcusable…That is why we apologized immediately, cooperated fully with the NCAA, self-imposed penalties that were appropriate to the offenses and made significant changes to ensure incidents like this never happen again.”
It is important to note that this ruling has no effect on the current NCAA investigation into the current men’s basketball corruption scandal, in which Louisville is also involved. Louisville and a number of other schools have been accused of providing goods from Adidas to prospective players. This investigation is ongoing, so it remains to be seen what will happen as a result of these allegations.
No word yet on whether or not Pitino will be removing his now-famous tattoo following Tuesday’s ruling.
Three Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) cadets who were killed in the Florida high school will be honored with heroism medals by the U.S. Army.

A spokesman for the U.S. Army confirmed that Cadet Command has approved Junior ROTC Heroism Medals for the following three cadets: Alaina Petty, Peter Wang and Martin Duque.
Petty’s family was given the medal during her funeral services on Monday, in which over 1,500 people attended.
Wang’s family was given his medal at his service held the following day. According to witnesses of the incident, including teachers and students, Wang died in his junior ROTC uniform while helping students, teachers and staff escape from the shooting.
Duque’s family is expected to receive his medal this upcoming Saturday, in which his funeral services will be held.
All three students were killed by shooter Nikolas Cruz, who himself was an ex-JROTC member, during the Parkside shooting.
Army spokesman Michael Maddox said that other cadets might be considered for awards and a review process is ongoing.
The U.S. Military Academy West Point will also posthumously admit Wang, who had dreamed of attending the school before his death. According to Fox News, the academy issued the following statement:
“It was an appropriate way for USMA to honor this brave young man. West Point has given posthumous offers of admissions in very rare instances for those candidates or potential candidate’s whose actions exemplified the tenets of Duty, Honor and Country.”

Florida Gov. Rick Scott also announced that he directed the Florida National Guard to honor the three students. As seen above, he gave the following message on social media:

What is the JROTC Heroism Medal?
According to Fox News, the JROTC Heroism Medal is a U.S. military decoration award, granted by the Department of the Army, to JROTC cadets who were “involved the acceptance of danger and extraordinary responsibilities, exemplifying praiseworthy fortitude and courage.”
Alpha Epsilon Pi at Syracuse University has been placed on suspension after an alleged violation of the student code of conduct. However, surprisingly enough, Laura Williams-Sanders, the director of the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs at Syracuse, said in a statement that hazing was not one AEPi’s conduct violations.
The nature of the conduct violations and the length of the suspension are unclear at this time.
“As soon as we were made aware of conduct that threatened the safety of a student participating in the new member process, we took immediate action to halt fraternity activities at Alpha Epsilon Pi,” Scalese said in the statement.
Jonathan Pierce, a former international president of AEPi and the fraternity’s media spokesperson, said in an email an individual engaged in misconduct that violated AEPi’s own rules, SU regulations and criminal law. The nature of the conduct violations, and the length of the suspension, are unclear.
The university ordered the suspension after a Department of Public Safety investigation, Scalese said. The University Conduct Board and Appeals Booard both concluded that AEPi was responsible for violations of the Code of Student Conduct and FASA policy, she added.
AEPi is the second Syracuse University fraternity to be suspended during the 2018 year.
This is the latest fraternity suspension in the last year, as schools such as Indiana University, the University of Michigan, Ohio State University, Texas State, Florida State, Ball State, Louisiana State and Penn State have all suspended fraternities.
On Tuesday, President Trump announced that he had directed Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms to propose new rules that would ban the use and manufacture of bump stocks, devices that are attached to guns in order to make them fire rounds quicker.
What exactly is a bump stock?
Attached to the lower end of a rifle, a bump stock is a piece of metal or plastic that enables the shooter to fire rounds much faster than they would with a normal semi-automatic rifle. A bump stock was used in the Las Vegas shooting on October 1st, 2017, in which 59 people (including the shooter) were killed. There were also 422 injuries due to gunfire as a result of the attack.
How do bump stocks work?
A bump stock allows a shooter to fire dozens of rounds in just seconds, simulating automatic gunfire, despite it being a semi-automatic rifle. When a gun is fired, it will bounce backward (recoil.) A bump stock uses the kinetic energy provided by the recoil to spring the weapon forward again. This causes the trigger to move repeatedly against the shooter’s finger, thereby firing more bullets.
Since a bump stock does not change any of the internal mechanisms of the gun, a bump stock was considered legal under federal guidelines. It appears that President Trump aims to change that with Tuesday’s announcement.

Crystal Nicole Rodriguez, a 28-year-old San Antonio middle school teacher, was arrested on Sunday, February 18, after she was found in a hotel with a 15-year-old teenager. The teen was a former student of Rodriguez.
Rodriguez, 28, was charged with improper relationship between educator and student and was booked into the Bexar County Jail on a $20,000 bond. Authorities say it is unclear when the alleged relationship between Rodriguez and the student began.
She has been working at Page Middle School for two years.
According to a preliminary police report, Rodriguez admitted to having a sexual relationship with the victim after police found the two in the hotel.
Leslie Price, the chief communications director for San Antonio ISD, said Rodriguez is a coach and teacher at Page Middle School and the victim was a former student at Page. The victim is now 15 years old and is at a different school
“The District will be reporting the arrest to the State Board of Education and Human Resources has set a meeting today with the employee (SAISD was closed on Monday, February 19 for Presidents Day),” Price said in a statement. “We are working to gather information to ensure we have full knowledge of what has occurred.”
This is the latest in a string of teacher sex scandals over the last couple of years. In November, Tennessee teacher Janet Smothers was arrested. Former nutrition teacher LaToya Parker was also arrested for a relationship with a student. Florida teacher Caroline Lawson was charged with sexual assault. 26-year-old Allyson Moran was also arrested for similar crimes. The 23-year-old high school teacher Katherine Ross Ridenhour was also arrested for an inappropriate relationship.
WWE SmackDown superstar Sarah Logan is part of the most dominating female faction on the blue brand. The Riott Squad is a tandem of young, up-and-coming wrestlers with something to prove on SmackDown. The group comprises of Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and, of course, Sarah Logan. As a unit, this Squad has viciously assaulted some of the best performers in the women’s division, including the likes of Becky Lynch, Naomi, Natalya, and Charlotte Flair.
Ms. Logan’s real name is Sarah Bridges. She was born on September 9, 1993, in the city of Jeffersonville, Indiana. Bridges made her pro wrestling debut in 2011, performing under the ring name of Crazy Mary Dobson. This character gained the young wrestler notoriety and recognition on the independent scene. She wrestled in promotions throughout Europe and the United States, including ICW, WxW, JCW, SHIMMER, and ROH.
This young Indiana-native first made an appearance on WWE television back on the September 1, 2014 episode of Monday Night Raw as The Miz’s make-up artist. She again appeared on Raw in November of that year as a concession manager. The up-and-coming wrestler made other one-off appearances on Raw and SmackDown as a rosebud of Adam Rose and as an extra in a spoof Viagra commercial (Niagara) involving The Miz and Damien Mizdow. Logan officially signed a WWE contract on October 19, 2016. She competed under her real name and won her first match under contract, knocking off Macey Estrella at the WrestleMania 33 Ticket Party. Bridges made her televised NXT debut in a tag team contest in January 2017. However, this wasn’t the first time she has appeared on NXT television as she lost to Becky Lynch on an August 2015 episode of NXT.
Bridges was repackaged under the ring name of Sarah Logan in June 2017. Despite the name change, the 24-year-old wrestler still didn’t trend much water on NXT, only periodically appearing and only in losing efforts.
Sarah Logan made her first big splash in the WWE on the November 21, 2017, episode of SmackDown Live. That night, she made her official debut as a villainous member of The Riott Squad. Logan didn’t make much noise over in NXT, but she on SmackDown, she helped put the entire women’s division on notice. In the Squad’s debut, they annihilated Becky Lynch and Naomi backstage, and laid out Charlotte Flair and Natalya in the ring.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2018 is fast approaching. This Sunday, the WWE Universe will be treated to two history-making Elimination Chamber matches. For the first-time ever, there will be an Elimination Chamber match featuring female competitors and a men’s chamber that contains seven wrestlers.
So far, only four matches have been announced for Sunday’s Elimination Chamer pay-per-view. One match involves the undefeated “Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka going one-on-one with the towering Nia Jax. If Jax walks away victorious then she will be added to the WWE Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 34.
Another match, that has been announced for Sunday’s pay-per-view, involves a showdown between “Woken” Matt Hardy and “The Eater of Worlds” Bray Wyatt. Will Hardy delete the competition? Or will Wyatt once again devour his Hardy prey?

“The Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka will have a hefty mountain to climb this Sunday when she goes toe-to-toe with the imposing Nia Jax.
Nia Jax has been on an absolute tear through the women’s division of Monday Night Raw. Last week, Jax mowed through “The Boss” Sasha Banks and Bayley, laying out both performers after their match, to send a message to “The Empress of Tomorrow.”
But Asuka needs to have momentum on her side as she walks into WrestleMania to fight for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship this coming April. Therefore, any loss to Nia Jax would be harmful and unnecessary. By defeating Jax, Asuka is proving why she is an unstoppable force in wrestling.
“Woken” Matt Hardy needs this win. He’s lost to Bray Wyatt every time they’ve faced off in a one-on-one encounter. Without wins, Hardy’s “Woken” persona is appearing as more and more of a cheap knock-off to the “Broken” character he played while employed with Impact Wrestling.
But Bray badly needs to win matches as well. Every time he finds himself in a significant or main event feud, he’s always at the short end of the stick, whether it be against John Cena, Randy Orton, or Roman Reigns. So, would it be smart for WWE to have “The Eater of Worlds” lose again? My answer is yes.
A loss from Hardy won’t make Wyatt look inferior or weak. It’ll only make Hardy appear as a stronger adversary and possibly spark interest back into their lukewarm feud. Wyatt is 2-0 against Hardy, so even if he loses he’ll still be ahead of Hardy according to the win/loss scoreboard.
Hopefully, this feud will spill out into the House of Hardy and onto the Wyatt Family compound.
The winner of this historic women’s Elimination Chamber match will defend the WWE Raw Women’s Championship against either Asuka or Nia Jax and Asuka at WrestleMania 34.
Who will win at Elimination Chamber?
It’d truly be a shocker if a member of Absolution walks away with the Raw Women’s strap this Sunday. Both Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville are definitely capable of holding the red brand’s women’s championship sometime down the line, but certainly not in time for WrestleMania season. They aren’t built up properly enough to be considered a real threat to Asuka’s undefeated streak. But besides that, both Rose and Deville don’t deserve the women’s strap at this point in their careers, especially considering one of them would be walking into WrestleMania as champion.
“The Boss” Sasha Banks has certainly built a legacy for herself during her short time with the WWE. She’s already a 4-time WWE Raw Women’s Champion as well as a former NXT Women’s Champion. But to be honest, Banks has become pretty bland as of late with her baby-face, empowered, role model persona. Many who remember her days from NXT long for a bad-ass, take-no-prisoners type of boss. Maybe a loss at Elimination Chamber will bring out her dark side. I predict a feud between her and Bayley going into WrestleMania, with Bayley going over Banks in the Chamber, causing Banks to snap and turn heel.
A win for Mickie James would catapult her back to the top of WWE’s women’s division over night. But I just don’t see that happening at this point in her career…at least not yet.
If Bayley wins the Chamber match then the WWE Universe may be treated to a classic encounter between Asuka and the “Hug-Life” superstar. Bayley and “The Empress of Tomorrow” have tons of history, fighting it out in NXT in now legendary match-ups. It would make perfect sense for these two to fight it out once more under the bright lights of WrestleMania in New Orleans this April.
But Alexa Bliss is the one who truly deserves to win this match. She’s worked hard all year making the Raw women’s division a significant and entertaining division from SmackDown Live to Monday Night Raw.

The winner of the first-ever seven-man Elimination Chamber match will go onto challenge “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 34.
Roman Reigns seems to be the most likely/obvious winner of the Chamber. He’s main-evented three straight WrestleManias, so if you keep track of patterns then you’d probably have pegged Reigns for the winner of Sunday’s match. But I’ll go with a more unpredictable route and say that Reigns loses, triggering a heel turn and feud with Shield brethren Seth Rollins. I predict that Rollins will eliminate Reigns, causing dissension within The Shield, leading to another split between “The Hounds of Justice,” but this time it’s Reigns betraying Rollins.
John Cena winning on Sunday might just be a very likely option. Cena vs. Lesnar has never been done at WrestleMania 34, and the hype around Cena’s impending record breaking world title win would be astronomical. If Cena can knock off Lesnar for the Universal Championship then “The Doctor of Thuganomics” will become a 17-time world champion, a feat that has never been accomplished in pro wrestling.
The two most unlikely winners of the Chamber are Braun Strowman and The Miz. Now, these two competitors are light years apart. But both men would look completely out of place facing off against “The Beast Incarnate” at WrestleMania. Strowman has already battled Lesnar enough times in 2017. And The Miz vs. Brock Lesnar just sounds like a squash match waiting to happen.
I predict that Elias will be dominant in the Elimination Chamber and will eliminate one or two of his opponents. However, it is way too soon to pull the trigger on an Elias main event push, especially around WrestleMania season.
WWE needs to invest in their future, i.e. The New Era. Nakamura as the number one contender for the WWE Championship going into WrestleMania might be a sign that this year’s event will be New Era heavy when it comes to main event matches. The Raw brand may follow suit, and put a figure of WWE’s New Era into the Universal Championship match against Lesnar.
Last Monday, Roman Reigns cut a promo, mentioning all the wrestlers in the seven-man Elimination Chamber match. Finn Balor received the most cheers. Plain and simple, the fans want to see Balor vs. The Beast. And I think this Sunday, that match will be made official.

Editor’s Note: If my brother, Danny Dunlop (a.k.a. FoulFaceKoala), was still alive. He’d probably choose Finn Balor as the winner of the Elimination Chamber as well. Shortly before Danny died, he picked Balor as the winner of the 2018 Royal Rumble match. That didn’t happen, but I think my brother’s decision to catapult Balor into the main event of WrestleMania will come true this Sunday.
