Now you see me. Now you don’t. Jerry Montgomery performed a bit of a circus act this morning as the Green Bay Packers announced that Montgomery would be returning for his fourth season as the Packer’s defensive front assistant.

What Happened?

Two weeks ago, Montgomery moved from Green Bay to the Texas A&M Aggies where he was hired as Aggie’s associate head coach and defensive line coach. Annnd poof. Now he’s gone and headed back up to his old post in Green Bay. It’s unclear what caused the move. Payment details between the Aggies and Montgomery have not been released because a contract had not been finalized between the two sides.

Not long after the Packer’s announcement this morning, the Aggies removed Montgomery from their team’s website.

The Aggies newly acquired head coach, Jimbo Fisher, let one slip through his fingers. This could prove to be problematic for Fisher with national signing day on February 7th right around the corner. In his short two-week tenure, Montgomery was already helping with top recruitments. Now, the Aggies need to fill in a key coaching position in order to keep their home stretch recruiting momentum going.

Who is Jerry Montgomery?

Jerry Montgomery, 38, played college ball for the Iowa Hawkeyes from 1998-2002. After graduation, he went to training camp with the New Orleans Saints but was released before the season. He later played in the Arena Football League with the Chicago Rush, Colorado Crush, and Las Vegas Gladiators from 2003-2005.

His coaching career started while he was playing in the Arena League. He started as an assistant at Iowa City West High School and Northern Iowa Area Community College. He later served as a graduate assistant at Northern Iowa in 2006, before being promoted to full-time defensive line coach for the 2007 and 2008 seasons. After Northern Iowa, Montgomery bounced around a lot. From 2009-2014, he coached as both a defensive line and defensive tackles coach for Wyoming, Indiana, Michigan, and Oklahoma. For the 2013 and 2014 seasons, Montgomery was the defensive line coach for Oklahoma and earned $325,000 and $380,000 respectively. Not too shabby for a guy who was coaching at a high school only a few years before.

In 2015, he was promoted to Oklahoma’s co-defensive coordinator, where he was expected to lead the defense alongside Mike Stoops. His tenure as co-defensive coordinator with the Sooners was brief. Less than a month in, the Green Bay Packers confirmed that they hired Montgomery, giving him the title of defensive front assistant. Sound familiar? Now in 2018, the Packers are giving the Aggies a similar treatment to what happened in Oklahoma.

Jerry Montgomery has been all over and for now, he heads back to his base in Green Bay to return as their defensive front assistant.

Posey County Jail

Camella Rodgers, a former fifth-grade elementary school teacher facing two child seduction charges, turned herself in on Wednesday, January 24.

Rodgers, a former Farmersville Elementary School fifth grade teacher in Mount Vernon, Indiana, is facing two preliminary charges of child seduction after reportedly engaging in a sexual relationship with an underage high school student.

According to the Mount Vernon school board, Rodgers resigned from her fifth-grade teaching position on December 4. After turning herself in, she was booked into Posey County Jail and posted a $1,505 cash bond.

via Courier & Press:

A 14-page probable cause affidavit filed in Posey County Circuit Court on Jan. 5 details an investigation by the Posey County Prosecutor’s Office and Mount Vernon Police Department.

The affidavit states Rodgers and the victim engaged in “various sexual acts” on multiple occasions while the girl was 17 years old. Rodgers was not the girl’s teacher. During the sexual relationship, which took place for about a year according to the affidavit, Rodgers was tutoring the victim in biology and assisted in coaching track while the girl was on the team.

In Indiana, the age of consent is 16, but someone commits child seduction if they engage in any sexual activity with a child over 16 but under 18 if they are in a position of supervision or trust over a child, such as a teacher, according to state law.

According to the affidavit, the alleged sexual acts happened at Farmersville Elementary School and in various locations in Posey County on or near private farmland.

This is the latest in a string of teacher/student sex scandals over the last couple of years. In November, Tennessee teacher Janet Smothers was arrested. Former nutrition teacher LaToya Parker was also arrested for a relationship with a student. Florida teacher Caroline Lawson was charged with sexual assault. 26-year-old Allyson Moran was also arrested for similar crimes. The 23-year-old high school teacher Katherine Ross Ridenhour was also arrested for an inappropriate relationship.

Furthermore, Hunter Day, 22, was also arrested after a sting operation. Megan Kotarski was also arrested on similar charges. Michelle Schiffer, a 23-year-old history teacher in Texas, was also charged and arrested for allegedly having sex with a teenage student. 29-year-old Alyssia Marie Reddy was arrested in Maryland for her crimes in New Jersey. Samantha Fitzgerland, a 28-year-old, was most recently arrested and charged. Jordan Ondish was arrested for her inappropriate relationship with a 19-year-old, while 28-year-old Samantha Fitzpatrick was arrested on similar charges.

Nicole Marie Andrews was arrested as well. 32-year-old Jessica Langford was arrested and charged with sexual assault-related crimes as well. A teacher from Oregon, Andrea Baber, was accused of having a sexual relationship with a student.  Robin Dunlap, a teacher in Florida, was arrested for sending illicit photos to a 15-year-old boy in Texas. Teacher and tennis coach Jennifer Olajire-Aro was also charged. 42-year-old Heather Butts of California was arrested on a second-degree felony charge. Nancy Leigh Ann Brann, a former Christian school teacher, was arrested for having sex with a student. Coine Audiat pleaded no contest to having sex with a minor in 2016. 23-year-old Darci Lake was arrested for an inappropriate relationship.

Valeria Costadoni was also arrested due to a relationship with her student. 40-year-old Kisha Nuckols was arrested for having sex with a student, too. Hilary Dattilo, a 30-year-old Ohio high school teacher, has been accused of having a sexual relationship with a female student. 30-year-old Missouri teacher Elizabeth Morgan was also arrested on similar charges. Trisha Anderson Rogers, a 47-year-old former student teacher at a North Carolina middle school was sentenced to eight months in prison after pleading guilty to soliciting a young student for sex. 39-year-old Texas teacher Marisela Winn was also charged for her relationship with a student. Gabrielle Bauman who admitted to having a relationship with a student was only sentenced to probation. 29-year-old Dori Meyers has denied accusations against her about a relationship with an underage student.

English singer, Mark E. Smith, best associated with the band, The Fall, has passed away at the age of 60, as confirmed by the band’s manager.

Pam Vander, also known by the alias, Pam Van Damned, confirmed that the frontman died in his home on Wednesday morning, with a more detailed statement explaining the circumstances to come in the following days. Vander wrote the following statement:

“It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Mark E. Smith. He passed this morning at home. A more detailed statement will follow in the next few days. In the meantime, Pam & Mark’s family request privacy at this sad time.”

Singers Lisa Stansfield and Billy Bragg paid tribute to Smith on social media.

According to The Sun, broadcaster Lauren Laverne gave the following statement:

“Oh man. Mark E Smith. One of my biggest heroes. Had a nightmare interviewing him (of course) but then he put me in a song. So sharp, clever and untouchably cool. Thanks for the music, MES.”

Growing up in a working-class family in Prestwich, Smith was inspired to develop his own band by the Sex Pistols in 1976. An icon of the late 1970s punk movement, Smith was both the founder and only constant member of The Fall. From 1979 to 2017, the band released thirty-two studio albums, as well as live albums and compilations, starting with Live at the Witch Trials in 1979.

According to The Mirror, Smith endured health issues towards the end of his life, some causing him to cancel appearances:

“The Fall were scheduled to perform at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right venue in February 2018, but were forced to cancel all seven gigs in December.”

“Pam had told her Instagram followers that the rescheduled gigs were being cancelled again because of the rocker’s health.”

Prior to his death, according to The Mirror, Smith had also been the victim of false death reports after hospital visits. As seen above, Vander addressed the health issues and the false death reports on social media.

What is Mark E. Smith’s cause of death?

At this time, Smith’s official cause of death was not immediately made available to the public.

As this story is developing, more information will be updated as made available.

Larry Nassar Sentence: Full Story & Must-See Details

After a powerful seven-day hearing in a Lansing, Michigan courtroom it was announced that Dr. Larry Nassar, disgraced former USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University doctor, has been sentenced to 40 to 175 years in prison. Throughout the hearing, 156 women and girls said in court that Nassar sexually abused them over the last two decades. For the victims and those who have shared their stories, it has truly been an exceptional display of unifying power and bravery, and now, Nassar will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

What happened?

156 women, girls, mothers, sisters, daughters, athletes, Olympians, all say they were abused by one man. His name is Lawrence G. Nassar, and he worked as a doctor for Team USA Gymnastics and Michigan State University for over two decades. It was in this position that he sexually abused young women and girls during medical examinations.

The first allegations of this trial were reported in September 2016 when two former gymnasts accused Dr. Nassar of sexual abuse. In February 2017, another three former gymnasts, Jeanette Antolin, Jessica Howard and Jamie Dantzscher, gave an interview with 60 Minutes to share their stories about Nassar’s sexual misconduct. Since then, over 150 additional people, including Aly Raisman, Maggie Nichols, McKayla Maroney, Jordyn Wieber, Gabby Douglas and Simone Biles, were inspired to also speak out about their experience with Larry Nassar’s abuse.

Today, January 24th, 2018, Nassar plead guilty to seven counts of criminal sexual conduct charges. Judge Rosemarie Aquilina sentenced Nassar to 40 to 175 years in prison, adding, “I just signed your death warrant.”

Who is Larry Nassar?

Nassar, 54, graduated from the University of Michigan in 1985. A year later, he joined the medical staff of the US national gymnastics team as a licensed osteopathic physician. In 1997, he also began working as a team physician at Michigan State University.

Nassar was a well-respected figure in the sports medicine field and was trusted with treating many top-level US gymnasts. He worked for the US gymnastics team in four Olympic Games before he was fired from the team in 2015 after athletes reported concerns of sexual misconduct.

He continued working with Michigan State University until September 2016 when the first allegations of his sexual abuse were reported. He was subsequently reassigned from his clinical and teaching duties at the University and was fired later that month.

Hard Liquor Banned From Lehigh University Fraternity Parties

Lehigh University has decided to ban hard liquor from fraternity events on campus.

The university’s Interfraternity Council Executive Board placed an indefinite ban on hard liquor being served at any event being held by one of its fraternities. The board announced the ban on Tuesday, January 23.

According to the IFC’s statement, the ban is in response to “the alarmingly high number of alcohol-related transports over the past semester and the numerous alcohol-related incidents at colleges and universities across the country.” It’s intended to create a safer environment for students, the statement says.

Approximately 80 Lehigh students were cited for underage drinking during the first three weeks of school last semester.

via Lehigh Valley Live:

The ban extends to all social events, recruitment events and anything related to new member education. Fraternities found violating the ban will face an indefinite suspension of all chapter activities at a minimum.

“Each violation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and chapters may be subject to harsher sanctions including a suspension of recruitment or losing eligibility to take a new member class,” the statement says. “The IFC is taking this very seriously and these sanctions will be strictly enforced.”

Lehigh in the fall semester grappled with a jump in alcohol-related hospitalizations, injuries and arrests.

You can read the Lehigh University IFC’s full statement below:

The Lehigh University Interfraternity Council Executive Board has decided to place an indefinite ban on hard alcohol at any event sponsored by IFC fraternities. These include social events, recruitment events, and anything related to New Member Education. In light of the alarmingly high number of alcohol-related transports over the past semester and the numerous alcohol-related incidents at colleges and universities across the country, the IFC Executive Board feels that this ban is necessary in order to create a safer environment for its students.

Chapters who are found in violation of this ban will be subject to, at minimum, an indefinite suspension of all chapter activities as determined by the IFC Executive Board. Each violation will be evaluated on a case by case basis, and chapters may be subject to harsher sanctions including a suspension of recruitment or losing eligibility to take a new member class. The IFC is taking this very seriously and these sanctions will be strictly enforced.

We suggest that you have a serious discussion with your executive boards and risk management teams to re-evaluate the events that you may have planned for this semester. This self-imposed ban is an attempt to focus on the health and safety of our community members as well as regain the credibility we have lost in recent semesters. It’s on us, as a community, to create a safe environment for students while holding all members accountable. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the members of the IFC Executive Board.

Rachael Denhollander: Full Story & Must-See Details

Rachael Denhollander was the first public accuser of Larry Nassar, a Michigan State University sports medicine doctor, who was sentenced to 60 years in federal prison on child pornography charges.

Allegedly, Denhollander had been molested by Nassar when she was 15 years of age in 2000. In 2016, she came forward with her story, becoming the first person to publicly accuse Nassar of sexually abusing his patients while painting his actions as medical treatment. By the time Nassar’s case went to trial, 156 women gave victim impact statements against him in a seven-day sentencing hearing in Ingham County Circuit Court.

According to MLive, Judge Rosemarie Aquilina gave Denhollander the following words of support for bringing Nassar to justice:

“You made this happen. You are the bravest person I’ve ever had in my courtroom.”

Denhollander said the following in a court statement:

“How much is a little girl worth?”

“I submit to you, these children are worth everything the court has to offer.

“The sentence today will send a message across the country, to every victim and every perpetrator.”

She added that Nassar “chose to pursue wickedness, no matter what it cost others.”

During her court appearance, she called out the MSU administration for ignoring complaints made by other women over Nassar’s treatments before Denhollander was abused. As she added, “You have refused to answer a single question,” and accused them of playing “word games.” She explained in the following statement:

“Nobody ‘knew’ because nobody handled the reports properly. The victims were silenced.”

“The actions of adults in authority have greatly compounded the suffering of the victims.”

Ultimately, Nassar pled guilty in November to first-degree criminal sexual conduct charges involving seven women, which includes Denhollander herself. He faces up to a maximum of up to life in prison. Under the plea agreement, the women who made accusations against Nassar of sexual abuse were allowed to give victim impact statements; the number of women extended the original four-day schedule for the hearing to seven days.

Who is Rachael Denhollander?

A Kalamazoo homeschooler, Denhollander’s injuries kept her out of joining a gymnastics club and local doctors had problems giving her a proper diagnosis. When she was 15, she first encountered Nassar while seeking treatment at MSU’s sports-medicine clinic. At the time, she and her mother, Camille Moxon, were excited to receive treatment from Nassar, due to his longtime association with USA Gymnastics, having worked as a team doctor for four games.

During her first appointment, Nassar initially performed a routine exam but then asked Denhollander to stand next to the exam table with her legs apart. While massaging her hip area, he slipped his hand up her shorts and used two fingers to penetrate her vagina.

Her mother had been in the exam room, although the incident was not visible to her. “I can’t be the only one,” Denhollander said she told herself at the time:

“This was clearly something he does regularly. He was very sure, very practiced; it was very clearly standard procedure. It’s not possible for him to be doing this regularly, and for MSU and (USA Gymnastics) to be unaware of it.”

Reportedly, the sexual abuse continued over several appointments, with Nassar penetrating her each time. When she came forward with what had happened to her mother, they hesitated to contact the police since it was their word against a prominent doctor:

“He was so loved in the community that I was very sure…I would be crucified and he would end up empowered to know he couldn’t get caught.

Denhollander eventually came forward in August 2016 after reading an Indianapolis Star expose on USA Gymnastics’ alleged mishandling of sexual-abuse allegations, although Nassar was not featured in the expose. After contacting the publication, it ran a follow-up expose concerning her testimony; the follow-up also included testimony from another woman, Jamie Dantzscher, a 2000 Olympic bronze medalist, although, unlike Denhollander, she was originally anonymous in the publication.

The story eventually sparked other complaints from patients of Nassar.

MLB Hall of Fame 2018 Results: Meet The Class Of 2018

This July the MLB Hall of Fame will be gaining four new members to its prestigious club. Every kid growing up playing sports dreams of two things, hitting the game-winner in a championship game and being inducted into the Hall of Fame. The difference between the two is that game winners will live on in peoples memories and can be forgotten, but when you are in the hall of fame, you’re immortal.

Here’s a look at this years ballot filled out by Micheal Kay:

This year marked only the fourth time that there were four inductees in a single class. As you can see the ballot above is full of guys, who will be in the Hall if not this year certainly within the next few years. The biggest debate, of course, is with Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Sammy Sosa and Manny Ramirez due to there ties with PEDs. Bonds, Clemens and Sosa, were never actually caught or convicted of doing steroids contrary to popular belief. Manny, on the other hand, has served a suspension for PEDs. Spoiler alert none of them got in, but all the players that did get in were more than deserving.

Chipper Jones is one of the most popular names in baseball he’s best known for his pure enjoyment of the game. Chipper’s attitude was just as good as his play, he was a .303 career hitter with 468 home runs and has 1,628 Rbi’s. The former first overall pick in the 1990 MLB Draft was everything the Braves could have hoped for and more; he was an eight-time all-star even capturing the NL MVP in 1999. Chipper Jones is one of my favorite players and the 1995 World Series Champion is more than deserving of the title Hall of Famer.

Vlad is if not one of the best bad-ball hitters of all time, there was no pitch this guy couldn’t hit. I mean the guy literally hit a ball that bounced for a base hit!  Vlad spent a majority of his career patrolling right field for the Expos and the Angles where he was a nine-time all-star (including one with Texas), took home eight silver sluggers, and the 2004 AL MVP award. Vlad had one of the strongest arms ever to grace the diamond, I suggest you look it up on youtube because the number of absolute lasers this guy has thrown in unbelievable. Vlad was so much fun to watch, and I’m happy that he is a part of baseball immortality.

Jim Thome

Instagram Photo

Jim Thome was one of the most feared players of his generation, but after spending the first chunk of his career with the Indians, he bounced around all over the league. No matter where he went Thome brought leadership along with his big bat. Thome is one of eight players in MLB history to have over 600 career home runs, 612 to be exact. Jim made five all-star appearances; he also won AL Comeback player of the year (2006) and the Roberto Clemente Award (2002). Thome is one of the best home run hitters, and you know what they say chicks dig the long ball, welcome to Cooperstown Jim you earned it!

Trevor Hoffman

Instagram Photo

Trevor Hoffman was the MLB career leader in saves when he retired with 601, before being passed by Mariano Rivera. Hoffman is one of only two players to record more than 500, and 600 career saves, that type of consistency is basically unheard of. Hoffman closed out so many close games and earned each and every single one of his seven all-star game appearances. Trevor won all different kinds of awards including, the NL Relief Man of the Year twice (1998,2006), the Lou Gehrig Award (2006), The Hutch Award (2004), and he even got his number retired by the Padres in 2011. Trevor Hoffman might be the second best closer in MLB history if not top five easy, much deserving for one of the top pitchers ever to throw a baseball!

Chinese Academy of Sciences Cloned a Monkey & That’s Kinda Scary

The Chinese Academy of Chinese Acadamy of Sciences has just cloned the first ever primates using the same method that brought us, Dolly, the Sheep. If you are unfamiliar with Dolly, she was the first ever mammal cloned and is by far the most famous clone.

“Animal cloning from an adult cell is much more difficult than from an embryonic cell. So when scientists working at the Roslin Institute in Scotland produced Dolly, the only lamb born from 277 attempts, it was a major news story around the world.

To produce Dolly, scientists used an udder cell from a six-year-old Finn Dorset white sheep. They had to find a way to ‘reprogram’ the udder cells – to keep them alive but stop them growing – which they achieved by altering the growth medium (the ‘soup’ in which the cells were kept alive). Then they injected the cell into an unfertilized egg cell which had had its nucleus removed, and made the cells fuse by using electrical pulses. The unfertilized egg cell came from a Scottish Blackface ewe. When the research team had managed to fuse the nucleus from the adult white sheep cell with the egg cell from the black-faced sheep, they needed to make sure that the resulting cell would develop into an embryo. They cultured it for six or seven days to see if it divided and developed normally, before implanting it into a surrogate mother, another Scottish Blackface ewe. Dolly had a white face.

From 277 cell fusions, 29 early embryos developed and were implanted into 13 surrogate mothers. But only one pregnancy went to full term, and the 6.6 kg Finn Dorset lamb 6LLS (alias Dolly) was born after 148 days.” – AnimalResearch.info

The difference with these monkeys compared to Dolly is that the fact they are primates which brings scientists one step closer to being able to clone humans! These baby monkeys look adorable and for right now are both considered to be in good health. The two identical long-tailed macaques – named Zhong Zhong and Hua Hua – were born eight and six weeks ago at a laboratory in China.

Instagram Photo

I know you probably thought having a clone would be awesome, I know I have. Think about it for those days you don’t feel like getting out of bed and going to school/work you can just send your clone or when you have to go to dinner with your girlfriends family during the big game you can just send your clone. At the same time, it’s actually kind of terrifying because for all we know people can make clones of you without your knowledge and then you just have this other you walking around. There is still a ways to go till they have the ability to clone humans “safely” not to mention all the ethical hurdles they would have to overcome. This is definitely something to stay woke too.

NBA All-Star Game 2018: Mock Draft & Official Roster

On Tuesday the NBA announced the reserves for the All-Star game. As with every All-Star game, Twitter and the rest of social media were full of talk about who got snubbed. But with the new format for the game, social media was also full of discussion about who captains LeBron James, and Stephen Curry should draft first.

The new format of the draft will allow teams to be comprised of players from any conference meaning teammates like Kevin Durant and Curry playing against each other. Because James got the most votes out of all the starters, he will get the first pick, followed by Curry. When it is time to pick the reserves, Curry will go first followed by James.

Unfortunately for the entire NBA community, the All-Star draft will not be televised because according to commissioner Adam Silver it will put players in a bad position. So we will come up with our own mock draft on who we think should get picked first, we will take in to account team allegiances and petty battles going on with players. We will update the rosters once the actual rosters are announced tonight on TNT at 6:00 p.m.

The XFL Is Back!? If This Is A Dream Don’t Pinch Me!

Did all my wildest dreams cultivate themselves into one massive wet dream!? I think it did because the XFL is going to make its return. Vince McMahon who is best known for running the WWE, a company started by his father. Under Vince, the WWE reached historic peaks and had done a great job at continuing to capture viewers imaginations over the years. Vince has held a lot of different roles during his lifetime he was an American professional wrestling promoter, former commentator, announcer, film producer, actor, and professional wrestler. Basically, the guy lives and breaths entertainment and success, the one lingering black spot on his resume is the failed football league; the XFL.

What Is The XFL?

The XFL was supposed to rival the NFL in every way, the big difference there was nothing too extreme in the XFL. The XFL was only around for one season(2001), but man did it leave an imprint, they even made a 30 for 30 about it (which you should watch if you haven’t already). Vince is selling $100 million in stock in the WWE to help finance his new project with his company Alpha Entertainment who just so happened to have file a patent on the name XFL.

The best part of the XFL coming back is that it opens the door for all these rejected NFL players to make comebacks in another league that’s not in Canada or the Arena Football League. Imagine seeing the XFL with strippers as cheerleaders, crazy celebrations, and just a ball of controlled chaos, and then all of a sudden Johnny Manziel runs out of one tunnel with Randy Moss, Chad Ochocinco, and Terrell Owens right behind him, I think I would lose my shit. You can also get guys like RGIII heck maybe even throw $40 million at Baker Mayfield to come join! The possibilities are endless, and if you’re not hyped, you’re doing something wrong.

Why You Should Be Excited About The XFL

Heres, a bunch of highlights from the XFL to get you as excited as I am!

What Is Doomsday Clock & Why You Should Pay Attention

$

The Doomsday Clock has been swirling around the internet like a shark circling its prey in the water. Most people don’t know what the Clock is or what it represents but with a name like ‘Doomsday Clock’ its hard not to think its a bad thing. They’re not entirely wrong, but everyone should be able to formulate their own opinion on the significance of it.

What is the Doomsday Clock?

For those of you like me that were unfamiliar with what the Doomsday Clock is let me explain. The Doomsday Clock was created by a group of atomic scientists around the time the US was on the verge of a nuclear war and an arms race with the Soviet Union. This team of scientists is an independent and non-profit body “with a goal of influencing public policy to protect our planet and all its inhabitants.” Co-founder Eugene Rabinowitch said: “The Bulletin’s clock is not a gauge to register the ups and downs of the international power struggle; it is intended to reflect basic changes in the level of continuous danger in which mankind lives in the nuclear age.” The same scientists that were part of the Manhattan Project, you know the one that created the nukes that the US used on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan are the ones that created the clock. Initially set at seven minutes to midnight, the hands have been back and forth 22 times during its lifetime. The biggest threat was judged to be in 1953 when the US created the hydrogen bomb – at that point, the clock was set at two minutes to midnight.

Current Status of The Doomsday Clock

The Doomsday clock has moved to two and a half minutes from midnight, the second closest its been to the 12 o’clock hour since its creation in 1947. The committee has said that movement of the clock is completely dedicated to the increasing chances of nuclear weapons being used with unstable leaders such as Kim Jung Un being in possession of nuclear weapons.

Why You Shouldn’t Worry

Let’s be honest here for a second, this clock is just an estimate made by a bunch of scientists, and everyone’s relying on this “clock” like its the sun. Maybe it’s because I don’t believe in any of this end of the world mumbo jumbo because no one actually knows anything about a fact. The Doomsday clock, in my opinion, is a bunch of bull used to make people worry about the world ending and blah blah blah. The difference between the Doomsday clock and other world-ending predictions such as “Y2K” and “The Mayans Prediction” is that the Doomsday clock is more of a thermostat than a prediction. It just gauges the likelihood of the end of the world instead of giving us a legit date and time. Regardless, our world is in a place where everyone is on edge because everyone thinks everyone’s going to nuke them and their mother and the world is going to end. While all of you sweat out this newest installment on the Doomsday Clock drama, going to sit here and try and prestige again in Call of Duty.

Aja Evans Instagram: Best Photos & Must-See Pictures

Aja Evans has been rapidly making a name for herself in the world of Bobsledding and Olympic sports when her first time at the Winter Games landed her a bronze medal in the two-woman bobsleigh race. Since then, Aja has been working and honing her skills to try and win the Gold at this year’s Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea.

Born in Chicago, IL and raised in the town of Homewood, IL; Aja Evans has been making waves in the world of sports since a young girl when she began her Track & Field training at Morgan Park High School in Chicago. While in college at the University of Illinois, Aja participated in Track & Field in which she competed in shot put and sprinting. Before her turn to bobsledding, Aja Evans competed in the shot put at the 2008 U.S. Olympic trials. Sometime after not making a spot on the 2008 U.S. Olympic team, Evans started training as a brakeman in bobsledding.

Competing in the 2012-2013 World Cup, Evans earned a bronze and silver medal; she returned the next year for the gold. This new turn finally took Aja Evans to Olympic glory when she was placed on the 2014 U.S. Olympic women’s bobsledding team. When she finally headed off to compete in the two-woman bobsledding competition in Sochi, Russia; Aja returned home with a beautiful bronze medal to show off her hard work and determination.

Now, the Chicago native and all around Sports star will return to the Olympic games this year in PyeongChang representing the United States to finally go for the gold! With her long line of Sports heritage running in her family (Evans’ brother, Fred Evans, was a defensive tackle for the Vikings) and determination to win the gold, we’re sure that everyone back here in the U.S. will be rooting for Aja to take home the gold and to do it with beauty and grace.

Vince McMahon Net Worth 2018: How Much Is The WWE Legend Worth?

$

Vince McMahon is one of my of the best promoters in the entertainment industry. He has taken the WWE to astronomical heights, and this might just be the start of it all. Vince has done almost everything you can do for the WWE; he’s been a film producer, actor, wrestling commentator, announcer, professional wrestling promoter, occasional professional wrestler and CEO of the WWE since the 1980’s after taking over for his father. Vince McMahon is an excellent businessman despite not being able to see the Stone Cold Stunner from a mile away.

Vince McMahon Net Worth: $1.63 Billion

Early Years

Vince McMahon was raised almost exclusively by his mother; he had a list of stepfathers who really didn’t help him much. Vince was born on August 24, 1945, in Riverhurst, North Carolina to parents Vince McMahon and Vicky Askew, but they did not stick together long. One of Vince’s many stepfathers had a very violent temper and often beat Vince whether he deserved it or not. This ended up being a massive force in shaping Vince who chose to use it positively instead of dwelling on the negative. He is quoted telling Playboy “Like I said, I grew up in a very volatile environment. My view was that if I took a beating and lived, I won. I still have that view. It gives me a tremendous advantage because I’m not afraid of failure. Don’t get me wrong–I hate falling. But I’m not afraid to take chances and fall on my ass, because if I live through it I’ll be better off, and I’ll win.” McMahon then went off to Waynesboro, Virginia where he attended and graduated Fishburne Military School.

WWE Comes A Calling

Instagram Photo

Vince’s father (Vince Sr.) was the owner of a wrestling league called the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), and Vince began working for his father in 1971. McMahon was given the job f promoting a small wrestling event, and he knocked it out of the park. Vince continued to excel in promoting the matches and slowly gained more and more responsibility as time progressed. As Vince climbed the ladder towards the top of the WWE food chain he continued to gather not only a feel for the business, but he gained the respect of everyone that saw him work, his time in military school had taught him the meanings of discipline and hard work, and he was putting it all out there. Then in 1984 tragedy struck when his father passed away, handing the keys to the WWE to Vince and his wife who wasn’t a very large company at the time.

New Era Of The WWE

Instagram Photo

Vince took no time at all to start revamping some of the WWE’s promoting tactics; he was determined to grow the business as large as he could. The first major step Vince took was the “Rock & Wrestling Connection,” a concept that brought pop stars into the storylines and gave professional wrestling a national and much broader, audience. He also started with new promotional events such as Wrestlemania which really helped boost the following. Everything Vince put into place seemed to turn into gold, and the WWE’s popularity was skyrocketing. WWE continued its growth over the years, and Vince had to keep continuing to shock audiences. He determined the best way to do that was to step into the ring and give the fans what they really wanted the boss wrestling for titles. Vince captured the world hearts after winning the Royal Rumble in 1999 and has continued to make appearances over the years. Vince McMahon owns roughly 57% (39.9 million shares) of WWE’s Class A common stock. As of December 2017, WWE was trading at a price per share of $32 which means Vince’s stake was worth about $1.4 billion.

XFL

Instagram Photo

Vince has had his hand in a few other businesses but none quite like the XFL, Vince along with other wealthy people at the time such as current president Donald Trump started up an American football league to rival the NFL called the XFL. This was basically football on steroids (literally and figuratively) Vince wanted to combine all of the high flying and creative promotional tools he learned in the wrestling world and apply them to football and create the biggest sports league of all time. Due to some bad decisions, the XFL fizzled out after just one season. As mentioned in the quote above Vince hates failure, and that’s why there are rumblings of the XFL making a comeback! Vince is in a place to only increase his Net Worth over the years.

Margot Robbie Net Worth 2018: How Much Is Margot Robbie Worth Now?

Margot Robbie, 27, is an Australian actress and film producer. Robbie was born and raised on a farm in  Dalby, Queensland, but it is obvious that this talented and beautiful Oscar-nominated actress is no farm girl.

Robbie studied drama at Somerset College. She launched her career in Australian independent films in the late 2000s. She became a success since then acting in notable films and tearing up dialogue in such a great way for top box office films. Robbie has chosen the right roles to become an exploding sensation in Hollywood.

Robbie was raised along with her siblings by her single mother and she had little to no contact with her father. She began working at 10-years-old. You can definitely say that Robbie is working hard since a young age to give herself a life everyone can dream of. She didn’t come from money or a family with a name in Hollywood already. Robbie who is a young 27-year-old currently worked three jobs when she was 16-years-old at the same time and went to Somerset College to study drama. She is a Somerset College alumni. At the age of 17, Robbie moved to Melbourne, Victoria to begin acting professionally.

Robbie’s net worth is said to be $8 Million.

2007-2011

Robbie appeared in the soap opera Neighbours (2008–2011). She earned two Logie Award nominations for her work. She was also nominated for Favorite Hottie at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards and was up against her Neighbours co-star Dean Geyer. In September 2010, Robbie departed Neighbours after almost three years to pursue an acting career in Hollywood. In April of that year, Robbie was nominated for Most Popular Actress at the Logie Awards. After moving to the United States, she starred in the short-lived ABC drama series Pan Am (2011–2012) alongside Christina Ricci and Mike Vogel.

2011-2015

Robbie auditioned for the new series of Charlie’s Angels shortly after arriving in Los Angeles. However, the producers at Sony Pictures Television preferred her for a role in ABC drama series Pan Am. Robbie boarded the role of Laura Cameron, a newly trained flight attendant. Pan Am was canceled after one season due to decreasing ratings, despite receiving positive reviews from critics. In May 2012, Robbie was cast in a romantic comedy About Time (2013) alongside Rachel McAdams. About Time received positive feedback and grossed $87 million on its $12 million budget.

Also, in 2012, Robbie was chosen to star in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill. The Wolf of Wall Street garnered rave reviews and became a commercial success with a worldwide gross of $392 million, making it Scorsese’s highest-grossing film. It was a wise decision on Robbie’s part to accept this role. The film was nominated for five Oscars, including Best Picture. Robbie portrayed Jordan Belfort’s second wife Naomi Lapaglia. Robbie was praised by critics for her Brooklyn accent. Critic Sasha Stone wrote “She’s Scorsese’s best blonde bombshell discovery since Cathy Moriarty in Raging Bull. Robbie is funny, hard and kills every scene she’s in”.  She received a nomination for the MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance and won the Empire Award for Best Newcomer. In 2014, Robbie founded her own production company, LuckyChap Entertainment.

In 2015, Robbie’s career was soaring and she landed Focus alongside Will Smith. She played an inexperienced grifter learning the craft of Smith’s character. The film had mixed reviews, but Robbie received praise for her performance. Robbie received a nomination for the BAFTA Rising Star Award in the same year.

Robbie has been a very busy lady. In 2016, she had three roles and her third role of the year was Harley Quinn in Warner Bros.’ DC Comics supervillain film Suicide Squad, as part of an ensemble cast that included Will Smith, Jared Leto, and Viola Davis. Robbie hosted the season 42 premiere of Saturday Night Live on 1 October 2016.

Robbie starred alongside Domhnall Gleeson in Goodbye Christopher Robin as Daphne de Sélincourt, wife of author A. A. Milne. The film was released on 29 September 2017.

Robbie, who is said to be worth approximately $8 million currently portrays American figure skater Tonya Harding in I, Tonya, which is up for the 2018 Best Picture Oscar. For her portrayal of Harding, Robbie received Best Actress nominations at the Academy Award, Golden Globe, SAG, and BAFTA Award ceremonies for the role.

Robbie’s upcoming films are TerminalBad Monkeys, Marian,  Mary Queen of Scots, and Dreamland. She will co-produce Marian and Dreamland for her production company LuckyChap Entertainment. Robbie will also reprise the role of Harley Quinn in Gotham City Sirens which she will also produce.
