With the college football season closing in on the finish line, there still remains one dramatic finale to view with steely-eyed intensity: The National Championship Game. Featuring two elite SEC programs, this contest will have everything from relentless physical defensive play to run-heavy offenses that will continually try to wear down the opposition. For the Crimson Tide, it’s all about adding to their national dominance as Nick Saban vyes for his sixth title to firmly cement himself as the best college football coach of all time. However, the fearless challengers in the Georgia Bulldogs will have other plans as they attempt to not only deny the Crimson Tide a National Title but to also bring home their first National Championship trophy since 1980. In the end, whether fans are treated to a defensive grudge match or a surprisingly exhilarating shootout, this should be a legendary contest that comes down to the waning moments of this final affair of the season.

If Alabama’s defense is able to dominate this game like they did in the College Football Playoff Semi-Final against Clemson, it will be a frustrating and humiliating night for the Georgia Bulldogs. Holding the Tigers to just six points and 1.9 yards per rushing attempt, the Crimson Tide emphatically displayed their aggressiveness and intelligence on defense against both the passing and rushing game of Clemson. Although the Crimson Tide may not have a prototypical quarterback in Jalen Hurts, the athleticism and vision of the sophomore passer have allowed him to be consistently effective, especially when a play breaks down. However, the Bulldogs chief concern needs to be containing the two prolific Crimson Tide running backs in Damien Harris (7.6 yards per rushing attempt and 11 rushing touchdowns) and Bo Scarbrough (eight rushing touchdowns) if they hope to keep up on the scoreboard. Unlike Alabama, Georgia has a confident albeit young pocket passer in Jake Fromm, who is at his best when he is able to move the ball downfield and convert big plays consistently (9.20 yards per passing attempt). Recently, the well-composed freshman signal-caller has been sensational as he has thrown seven touchdowns and just one interception in his last four games. In conjunction with the Bulldogs deadly rushing attack featuring Nick Chubb (6.4 yards rushing attempt, 15 rushing touchdowns) and Sony Michel (eight yards per rushing attempt, 16 rushing touchdowns), Georgia actually has a dynamically dominant offense. Of course, on top of everything else, the Bulldogs have a ferocious defensive front that almost always finds a way to disrupt and sack any opposing quarterback that they come up against. While Alabama may have the better coach and a slightly better defense, the Bulldogs top-notch offense led by a red-hot passer will be a serious X-factor in this contest. If the Bulldogs defense can be consistently persistent in making sure Hurts cannot maneuver freely outside of the pocket, the feisty Bulldogs will finally get to bask in the glorious limelight of being National Champions for the first time in nearly 40 years.

What have I been tellin’ Y’all? Every time there’s some story about artificial intelligence, I pound my fist against my desk, begging the internet to hear my cries that we’re headed down a dangerous path. Well, folks, if the robots coming after your literal manhood doesn’t perk your ears up, then I don’t know what will.

We’ve always worried about The Terminator scenario — what if robots realize they don’t need us anymore and decide to make a move — when really we should have been worrying about the inverse: what if women decide they don’t need us anymore — then we have a real problem.

According to Dr. Cathy O’Neil, a professor at Harvard University, women of the future could end up with “dashing menbots” who not only give them physical pleasure but who also do household chores and things of that nature, which would essentially be a doomsday situation for us men.

The mathematician says it is ‘entirely possible’ that robots will outperform men and women of the future could choose to live with menbots instead.

The market for sexbots is currently 95 percent male dominated but that could all be about to change.

‘I think it’s the men who should be worried. It’s entirely possible that robots can outperform them’, said Dr. Cathy O’Neil who has a PhD in mathematics from Harvard University.

Currently, men are more willing than women to have sex with a robot than women are, however, Dr. O’Neil says she expects that to change.

Fellas, the robots are now officially coming for our women, so I think its about time the rest of you got woke and stopped buying into this wave or artificial intelligence.

Darci L. Lake, a 23-year-old former substitute teacher in Ohio, is accused of having inappropriate sexual relationships with two students, including a 14-year-old boy.

On Wednesday, January 3, Lake pleaded not guilty to nine counts of sexual battery and faces a maximum of five years in prison for each count.

According to court documents, Lake was a substitute teacher with Maysville Local Schools near Zanesville when she began sexual relationships with two students.

Zitnik said Lake was hired through Renhill Group, a company that staffs districts with substitute teachers throughout the state, and Lake is no longer contracted with Maysville.

Barrie Howell, president of Renhill Group, said in an email that Lake has been terminated from the company, and prior to being hired at Renhill, all state-required background checks on Lake came back clear. According to the indictment, each of the two victims were students in the district. One was 16 years old and turned 17, and one was 14 years old and turned 15.

Lake was 22 years old when the offenses began, according to the indictment. Seven of the nine counts listed in the indictment occurred between Feb. 1 and Nov. 1, 2017. The other two counts occurred between March 1 and Aug. 31, 2017.

Lake was arrested on December 21 and posted a $200,000 bond.

This is the latest in a string of teacher/student sex scandals over the last couple of years. In November, Tennessee teacher Janet Smothers was arrested. Former nutrition teacher LaToya Parker was also arrested for a relationship with a student. Florida teacher Caroline Lawson was charged with sexual assault. 26-year-old Allyson Moran was also arrested for similar crimes. The 23-year-old high school teacher Katherine Ross Ridenhour was also arrested for an inappropriate relationship.

Furthermore, Hunter Day, 22, was also arrested after a sting operation. Megan Kotarski was also arrested on similar charges. Michelle Schiffer, a 23-year-old history teacher in Texas, was also charged and arrested for allegedly having sex with a teenage student. 29-year-old Alyssia Marie Reddy was arrested in Maryland for her crimes in New Jersey. Samantha Fitzgerland, a 28-year-old, was most recently arrested and charged. Jordan Ondish was arrested for her inappropriate relationship with a 19-year-old, while 28-year-old Samantha Fitzpatrick was arrested on similar charges.

Nicole Marie Andrews was arrested as well. 32-year-old Jessica Langford was arrested and charged with sexual assault-related crimes as well. A teacher from Oregon, Andrea Baber, was accused of having a sexual relationship with a student.  Robin Dunlap, a teacher in Florida, was arrested for sending illicit photos to a 15-year-old boy in Texas. Teacher and tennis coach Jennifer Olajire-Aro was also charged. 42-year-old Heather Butts of California was arrested on a second-degree felony charge. Nancy Leigh Ann Brann, a former Christian school teacher, was arrested for having sex with a student. Coine Audiat pleaded no contest to having sex with a minor in 2016.

With conference play underway in NCAA basketball, there is a game between two elite opponents. These teams are the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Virginia Cavaliers. According to the AP poll, both teams are ranked in the top 12 which should result in an extremely competitive basketball game. Last season, the Cavaliers defended their home court successfully against the Tar Heels and won by ten points. Now, North Carolina will be seeking revenge and will be looking for a huge road victory to boost its resume for March. Expect this game to be extremely competitive throughout as a result.

The North Carolina Tar Heels entered the season with the hopes of become the first back-to-back champions since 2007. However, the Tar Heels lost several key pieces from last year’s championship team including Justin Jackson and Isaiah Hicks. As a result, the Tar Heels have struggled a bit due to its lack of quality depth and experience on the roster. The Tar Heels have already lost three games this season and will most likely fall in the rankings this weekend due to their loss against Florida State on Wednesday night.

North Carolina’s success is due to its veteran backcourt. Guards Joel Berry and Kenny Williams have been the leaders of this year’s team and also have boasted impressive stats thus far in the regular season. Berry is currently averaging 17.9 points per game along with three rebounds and three assists. Williams is averaging 12.8 points per game along with 3.5 rebounds per game. Both of them were on the championship team last season as well as the second place team from two seasons ago. As a result, these guards are the veteran leaders on this team and will look to lead the Tar Heels to a huge road victory on Saturday.

Virginia’s success is due to its team defense. Every year, Virginia is one of the best defensive teams in the country under coach Tony Bennett. This season is no different as the Cavaliers officially have the best scoring defense in all of college basketball. Virginia is allowing 52.7 points per game this season and will look to shut down North Carolina’s potent offense. Leading the Cavaliers offensively is guard Kyle Guy. This season, Guy is averaging 15.5 points per game and is shooting 46% from the three point line. If Virginia plans on winning this contest, Guy will need to have a big game from behind the arc.

As for my prediction, I have to side with Virginia. Although I think that North Carolina is the better all-around team, very few teams go into Virginia and win on the road. I think that North Carolina’s lack of experience will lead to a lot of turnovers against Virginia’s defense as Virginia wins an extremely low scoring contest at home.

Dennis Clark, a former nurse from two Kansas City hospitals, has been sentenced to around 13 years in prison for charges of sexually abusing patients while under anesthesia.

What do we know about the case?

While at Johnson County District Court, Clark was sentenced to 12 years and 11 months in prison, one month shy of 13 years.

Clark had pled guilty to one count of aggravated sodomy back in November. Because of his plea, less serious charges involving two other patients were dismissed. In addition, according to The Kansas City Star, further misdemeanor charges against Clark that alleged he exposed himself to neighbors were also dropped.

The incidents were believed to have taken place in Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park and Providence Medical Center, both found in Kansas City, Kansas. The incidents are believed to have taken place in 2010 and 2011.

Who is Dennis Clark?

Police had first been investigating Clark back in May 2014, after a patient reported the assault; in time, two other women reported similar incidents. By the time a fourth victim came out against Clark,  two counts of rape and two counts of aggravated sexual battery were added to three counts of aggravated sexual battery.

Further charges against Clark are still pending in Wyandotte County. Upon being charged, Clark lost his registered nursing license.

After finishing his prison sentence, under the plea deal, Clark will be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

The Naval Station at Whidbey Island in Island County, Washington is on lockdown with reports of an active shooter at the base made on social media.

According to one post on social media, commands were being made to shelter in place while at the base. Reports of a shooting first came out around 10:40 AM. As of yet, all NAS Whidbey Island gates will be closed until further notice.

According to Military Installments, the area, which has over 35,000 residents, places a “no weapons” policy for Ault Field:

“All personnel residing in government quarters are required to register weapons with NAS Whidbey Island. All firearms must be registered with the PPV Housing Office within three (3) days of occupancy or procurement of firearms.”

UPDATE: According to the base’s official Twitter, the Langley Gate has been reopened for base access. So far, there are no reports of injuries.

The game will take place in daunting arrowhead stadium where Chiefs Kingdom has built up a much deserved rep as being one of if not the loudest fan base in sports. Kansas City is a 7.5 point favorite in this one! Looks like Vegas expects the Chiefs to take home this one!

Its been a roller coaster season for the Chiefs who got off to a red hot 6-0 start before the wheels fell off the the truck. The Chiefs went into a straight free fall losing 6 of their next 7 games and still found themselves tied for the division lead, With the playoffs in reach Alex Smith led the Chiefs to 4 straight wins including a game against each division rival (Raiders, Chargers, and Broncos) to secure the AFC West Title. The Chiefs will rely heavily on NFL Rushing Leader Kareem Hunt will look to carry the Chiefs to the promise land.

The Titans on the other hand have been in and out of contention all season. With 4 weeks left in the season the Titans found themselves at 8-4 and in a great spot to make it to the post season. Just to make it interesting they lost 3 straight making their week 17 game against the Jaguars a must win. The Titans went on to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars 15-10 and secured their spot in the playoffs. Marcus Mariota is having a unimpressive season to say the least but the Titans have rode the backs of their rungame. Between Demarco Murray and Derrick Henry the Titans have two huge bruising backs that will test the will of any defense. The Titans better hope Demarco can play after missing that week 17 game with a knee injury, if he can’t go the Titans are in trouble.

Astronaut John Young, a legendary moonwalker who flew to space 6 times, has passed away at the age of 87.

In addition to being a six-time veteran, he was on the first Gemini mission and commanded the first shuttle flight. He also had also been on the 12 people to walk on the moon. Later in his NASA career, he served as the chief of the astronaut office.

Author Andrew Chaikin, who is known for his work concerning NASA, said the following about Young’s accomplishments on his website:

“If anybody deserves the title of legend it would be John Young…You know [the moon landing] alone would have qualified him for being in the Hall of Fame of astronaut careers…But the thing that really made him a true legend was in 1981 when he commanded the very first space shuttle mission.”

NASA has also released the following video honoring Young.

In the media, Young was portrayed by actor Ben Marley in the 1995 film, Apollo 13, and by John Posey in the 1998 HBO series, From the Earth to the Moon.

His cause of death is believed to be complications from pneumonia, with his official date of death being Friday, January 5, 2018. He is believed to be survived by his wife and two children from a previous marriage.

The defending NFC Champion Atlanta Falcons will be going to Los Angeles to take on the Rams. Both these teams have been among the most surprising teams in the NFL this year but for different reasons. The Rams were predicted to have 3 wins and have a top pick in the draft instead they won 11 games and won the NFC West. The Falcons were predicted to win the NFC South and have a 1st round bye in the playoffs instead they had to win week 17 for a chance to even play in the wildcard round.

The Falcons may not look like the high octane offense they looked like last year but the talent is still there. Reigning NFL MVP Matt Ryan has been lack luster to say the least but with a ground game featuring Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman and having Julio Jones to throw too the Falcons can put points on anyone. Their Defense is healthy, remember star CB Desmond Trufant missed the playoffs last year and they’re hungry to change the way people talk about the Atlanta Falcons

The LA Rams (11-5) have taken the league by storm, Coach Sean McVay has come in and completely changed a culture overnight. He has turned Jared Goff from potential bust into one of the top qbs in the NFC, with his opened up air it out offense he was able to help Todd Gurley get back on his dominate ways. In fact TG is one of the favorites to win this years MVP after leading the NFL with 13 Rushing TDs. The Rams have a ton of talent of the defensive side of the ball including guys like Robert Quinn, Alec Olgeltree and how could we not mention top Defensive Lineman Aaron Donald. This is most of these players first ever playoff game so this team is going to be fired up!!!

Kentucky vs. Tennessee will be an absolute barn burner! My favorite part of this game is the unpredictability of both teams, yeah you can say Kentucky should destroy them but if there’s anything I learned this year about college basketball it’s that no one is safe. Kentucky has a lot of youth, maybe even too much youth. Meanwhile, Tennessee is loaded with returning players, the vets have been there done that and the Wildcats are just getting their first taste of the daunting SEC basketball schedule

The #23 Tennessee Volunteers (9-4) have had some really competitive games with some really good teams. They only lost by single digits to programs like Villanova and North Carolina. The Vols are led by Sophomore Forward Grant Williams who’s averaging an impressive 15.7 points per game halfway through this college basketball season. If the Vols want any chance to beat the Kentucky Wildcats they’re going to have to do it with defense. Kentucky has shown to have issues against gritty defensive teams, the youth of Kentucky hurts them there. If the Vols crowd can bring the energy maybe just maybe they can rattle the cat’s cage.

The #17 Kentucky  Wildcats (12-2) come into this one after impressive wins over LSU and Louisville. In fact, the Wildcats blew out Louisville by 30+!!! John Calipari has one of the hardest jobs in all of sports, it seems every year that he has a completely different starting 5 every year and this is no different. With all these talented freshmen it is up to him to get them to play as a team and develop their skills so they win basketball games. The youthful Wildcats are still figuring out how to play together but I don’t expect that will hold them back from dismantling Tennessee.

Kansas is currently 11-3 and is ranked tenth in the AP poll. Kansas has surprisingly lost all three games at home including a loss to Texas Tech in its last game. If Kansas loses this game, a conference title might be in jeopardy.

Kansas’s success is due to its extremely talented backcourt. Guards Devonte’ Graham and Lagerald Vick have been the leaders of this year’s team and also have boasted impressive stats thus far in the regular season. Graham is currently averaging 17.9 points per game along with 3.6 rebounds and 7.5 assists. Vicks is averaging 16.3 points per game along with 6.1 rebounds per game. Both of them know what it takes to win these conference road games. Expect Graham and Vick to play well on Saturday.

TCU’s success is due to its high scoring offense. This season, the Horned Frogs average the 13th most points per game in all of college basketball with 87.1 points per game. Its scoring offense is due to its elite three point shooting and unselfish style of play. TCU is currently shooting over 41% from the three point line and the team ranks third in all of college basketball in assists per game. This combo makes TCU almost impossible to outscore which is what Kansas will have to do on Saturday if it wants to win this contest.

As for my prediction, I have to side with TCU. The Horned Frogs are the better offensive team and are in better form than the Jayhawks at this point in time. Kansas is coming into this game off of a loss and I do not think that their team is that good right now. I expect TCU to play well in front of its home crowd as the Horned Frogs sneak away with a victory.

Actor and comedian Jerry Van Dyke, famous for his role as Luther Van Dam on ABC’s Coach, has passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018. Jerry has very famous last name, being the younger brother of comedy legend of Dick Van Dyke. Although he could not achieve the tremendous success of his brother Dick, he still found a niche in the entertainment industry as a sidekick with self-confidence issues on ABC’s Coach from February 1989 to May 1997. The actor/comedian died on Friday at the age of 86.

Jerry Van Dyke took his first shot at comedy as a high school kid, performing at strip joints and nightclubs in the late 1940s. He went on to become a multi-time Emmy nominated actor as his career progressed. Let’s see how much money Van Dyke has pulled in after over half a century in comedy….

Jerry Van Dyke’s Early Life

Jerry McCord Van Dyke was born on July 27, 1931, in Danville, Illinois. While still enrolled in Danville High School, the young Jerry sought a career in stand-up comedy. He later joined the United States Air Force and became apart of the Tops In Blue from 1954 to 1955. Tops In Blue were a touring performance ensemble comprised of active service members of the American Air Force. He performed in military bases all around the world, winning the All Air Force Talent Show on two separate occasions. During this time, he also hosted The Jerry Van Dyke Show which aired exclusively on WTHI-TV in Terre Haute, Indiana.

After leaving the service, he made appearances on his older brother’s sitcom The Dick Van Dyke Show. He also appeared on CBS’s The Ed Sullivan Show and later became a regular on The Judy Garland Show. Jerry hosted the 1963 game show Picture This. That same year, he played supporting roles in films such as McLintock!, Palm Springs Weekend and The Courtship of Eddie’s Father.

1965 – Present

From 1965-1966, Jerry starred in a short-lived sitcom called My Mother the Car, which is about a man who owns a restored antique car with the soul of his deceased mom. After that show proved to be a commercial failure, Van Dyke moved on to another sitcom, starring in the NBC series Accidental Family for one season from September 1967 to January 1968.

Jerry landed prominent roles in films such as Love and Kisses (1965) and Angel in My Pocket (1969).

In the 1970s, Van Dyke returned to the stand-up comedy scene. He headlined venues in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada, as well as Summerfest in Milwaukee, and in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He landed roles in films such as The Amazing Cosmic Awareness of Duffy Moon (1976) and 13 Queens Boulevard (1979).

The younger Van Dyke finally found a lasting measure of success as Luther Van Dam, the defensive coordinator and beloved sidekick of Hayden Fox in ABC’s Coach. This role earned Van Dyke four Emmy nominations for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series” from 1990 to 1993.

Besides film and sitcoms, Jerry has also appeared in a series of Hardee’s commercials in 1995 to promote the Big Hardee hamburger.

In the 2000s, he appeared as a reoccurring character on the CBS sitcom Yes, Dear. He’s also made appearances on TV series such as My Name Is Earl, The Millers, and Raising Hope.

Jerry Van Dyke made his final television appearance in April 2015, reprising the role of Frankie’s father on the ABC sitcom The Middle. His real-life older brother Dick Van Dyke also guest starred on this episode, playing his on-screen brother as well.

Jerry Van Dyke’s Cause Of Death

Jerry Van Dyke’s cause of death is currently unknown. He died at the age of 86 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on Friday, January 5, 2018. His cause of death remains a mystery. However, the actor/comedian has had declining health since his car accident two years prior.

He is survived by his first (now ex) wife Carol, his two daughters and son; Jerri Lynn, Kelly Jean, and Ronald.

Seth Meyers, 44, is an American comedian, political commentator, and television host. He also is best known for his talk show, Late Night With Seth Meyers, which airs on NBC.

Prior to hosting his own show, Meyers was a head writer for NBC’s Saturday Night Live. He also hosted the show’s news parody segment, Weekend Update.

Meyers hosted the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2014, after appearing in the film Journey to the Center of the Earth. 

Meyers is known for his political opinions and seems to enjoy calling out certain political leaders.

He will be hosting the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 7, 2018.

Meyers and Ashe announced their engagement in July 2013 and got married on Sept. 1 of the same year.

In November 2015, the couple confirmed that they were expecting their first child.

2016-Present

Meyers and his wife welcomed their son, Ashe Olson, on March 27, 2016. After a two week early delivery and a scary delivery, their baby was completely healthy.

On the Late Night with Seth Meyers Thanksgiving special in 2017, Meyers announced that him and his wife were expecting baby number 2.

On Jan. 4, Meyers will be hosting the 2018 Golden Globes.

At long last, the NFL playoffs are upon us. In the third game of the divisional round, there is a contest between two overachieving teams. These teams are the Buffalo Bills and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Both teams started the season with below average expectations as the majority of people assumed that neither of these teams would make the playoffs. However, both of these teams managed to find their grooves throughout the season and qualified for the playoffs after winning at least nine games. Expect this game to be extremely competitive as both teams attempt to prove that they truly belong in the playoffs.

Buffalo’s success is due to star running back LeSean McCoy. This season, McCoy ran for over 1,100 rushing yards and had six rushing touchdowns. He also had over 440 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns. However, McCoy injured his ankle last week and is likely to be at less than 100% entering this contest. An injured McCoy most likely means that quarterback Tyrod Taylor will need carry load on offense. This season, Taylor had 18 total touchdowns and only four interceptions along with over 2,700 passing yards. If Buffalo plans on winning its first playoff game since 1995, Taylor and McCoy will need to play well.

Jacksonville’s success is primarily due its stout defense. This season, Jacksonville’s defense was, arguably, the best defense in all of football this season. The Jaguars had 55 sacks which ranked second in the league. The Jaguars also had the second-most interceptions in the league with 21 interceptions this season. As a whole, the Jaguars allowed the second-fewest points in the league and will look to use its elite defense against the Bills.

Jacksonville’s offense is led by quarterback Blake Bortles. This season, Bortles threw for 3,687 passing yards and 21 passing touchdowns. However, he also threw 13 interceptions. If Bortles does not take care of the ball, it will be very difficult for the Jaguars to win this game. Assisting Bortles is rookie running back Leonard Fournette. This season, Fournette had over 1,000 rushing yards and ran for nine rushing touchdowns. However, Fournette had less than 70 rushing yards in each of the last two weeks. Fournette will most likely need to break the 100 yard barrier in order to win this contest because it will keep the ball out of the turnover prone hands of Bortles.

As for my prediction, I have to side with Jacksonville. LeSean McCoy is the heart and soul of this Bills offense. Now that he is injured, I truly do not know how the Bills will score on a consistent basis. Jacksonville has better personnel on both sides of the ball and I think that it shows on Sunday. I think the Jaguars win by a touchdown as Fournette carries them to a victory.

One man and woman have been injured in an explosion near the Varby Gard metro station in Stockholm, Sweden.

According to police, the man endured fatal injuries after picking up something off the ground that ended up detonating. The man and woman were together and are believed to be a couple.

The nature of the device is currently unknown, although police have denied that it had been a hand grenade. A bomb disposal squad is checking the station area. Police are also checking for additional explosive devices.

At this time, police do not believe the incident was terror-related. In addition, while it had been speculated that the explosion could have been an attempted murder, police do not believe that the couple was targeted directly.

Update: According to The Independent, Sven-Erik Olsson, a spokesman for Stockholm police, has released the following statement:

“The man was seriously hurt injured after he picked up something from the ground and this device exploded.”

According to Express, Lars-Ake Stevelind, a spokesman for the Stockholm fire department spokesman, said in a statement with Sveriges Radio:

“Someone has used explosives. We do not know more than that.”

Panthers Saints! If you’re not excited about this game then you have bigger problems! These are two of the best teams in the NFL and we get to watch them in the first round of the playoffs. Cam Newton and Drew Brees are polar opposites when it comes to pretty much everything except one, and that is they both lead their teams to wins. Granted this year they’ve finally gotten some help Brees with that running game and defense and Carolina finally putting some athletes on offense with Cam. This game is going to have a little bit of everything, I believe whoever has the ball last will win this game!

The Carolina Panthers come into this one after dropping a tough one in Week 17 to division rival Atlanta Falcons. That loss stung because if they won they would have had a shot to host this game but instead they have to go to the daunting Superdome. Carolina lives and dies by Cam Newton, you know what you’re going to get from Luke Kuechly and that defense but Cam is a different story. Christian McCaffery has had a huge impact on this offense creating mismatches with his ability to flex out as a WR and run routes out of the backfield. The Panthers will have a tough time scoring on this Saints defense who has shocked the league this year. The real task will be on Kuechly trying to keep a cap on the dynamic duo of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara.

WHO DAT NATION STAND UP! Your Saints are in the playoffs and they look scary good! I can’t remember if I’ve ever seen a Drew Brees led the team with a running game and a defense. Drew Brees is coming off a regular season where he set the single-season completion percentage record (73.9%) It’s a lot easier to throw when the defense has to watch out for the run every play. Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram have been forced to watch out for this season accounting for 3,094 total yards and  25 offensive TDs! oh yeah and Kamara returned a Kickoff for a TD in Week 17 just for fun! This is the best Saints team I’ve ever seen even better than the Super Bowl team in my opinion. But like the saying goes it doesn’t mean a thing without the ring!

An Idaho high school basketball coach, Ann Kuroki, had arrested after police found evidence of a sexual relationship with a male student.

According to KMVT-TV, police had found evidence of Kuroki having a relationship with a male student after receiving an anonymous tip.

Originally coaching Gooding High’s boys’ junior basketball varsity team, Kuroki was considered an “at will” employee by the school district, although earlier police reports identified her as a teacher. Since the arrest, the school district has terminated Kuroki’s employment and is conducting their own internal investigation.

Who Is Ann Kuroki?

According to Daily Mail, Kuroki graduated from Southern Virginia University in 2015, as claimed by her LinkedIn page and the school’s website.

Kuroki is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday. The same day, the school board listed Ann Kuroki’s termination as an agenda item.

If convicted, Kuroki could face up to 25 years to life in prison, depending on the charges filed against her.
