Mariah Carey is already the most talked about celebrity/meme of 2018 as she paused in-between sets during her New Year’s Eve performance to ask for some hot tea. It was feeling really chilly in Time Square, Manhattan, and Carey thought there would be tea, but sadly, she had to bear the cold with nothing hot except for her cleavage-heavy dress. “They told me there would be tea,” said a confused Carey. “Oh, it’s a disaster. Okay, well, we’ll just have to rough it. I’m going to be like everybody else, with no hot tea.”
Besides her stunning beauty, Carey is most famous for her voice. She’s received numerous awards for her singing career which has lasted 30 years. She’s the recipient of 5 Grammy Awards, 19 World Music Awards, 11 American Music Awards, and 14 Billboard Music Awards. Although we are just nine weeks into the college basketball season, there have already been several jaw-dropping upsets and intriguing shakeups within the power five conferences. With that being said, there are still many more twists and turns that have yet to transpire as conference play commences this week for most college basketball programs. While there will still be an immense amount of parity this year, programs that have coasted through their non-conference schedules to garner inflated records will inevitably be exposed. Simultaneously, the under the radar competitors will finally have a chance to prove that their athletes and unique strategies are more than capable of toppling the perceived juggernauts in their respective conferences. This week, the top teams of the Big 12 will battle fiercely to determine who is the most resilient and consistent program of the conference, at least for this week.
In any sport, it can be easy to give in to recency bias and swiftly judge a program that suffered a dramatic loss early in the season. Although the Horned Frogs loss to Oklahoma knocked them down a few notches in the AP Poll, this is still a scary great offensive team that can score quickly and efficiently (88 PPG). With all five of their starters averaging double-digit points per game, the Horned Frogs are not beholden to one dominant superstar and can divvy the ball around to any one of their trustworthy playmakers. While Baylor has flashed moments of being exceptional on offense and defense, it has been the lack of competitive continuity that has severely damaged this program’s chances of being a legitimate competitor in the Big 12. Even though the Bears are more than capable of pulling off the upset in this contest considering their talented and well-balanced roster, the Horned Frogs have an established identity that has faired extremely well against the reputable opposition.

While it may be easy to scrutinize Texas Tech’s lackluster schedule and assume that they are due to be humbled by a superior opponent, the Red Raiders have dominated all but one of the unranked opponents that they have faced (defeated every unranked opponent aside from Boston College by 20 points or more). Even in their close wins, the Red Raiders have rarely deviated from their obvious strength which is a relentless defense that tirelessly stifles their opposition to minimal scoring opportunities (58.2 PAPG). Unlike the Red Raiders, the Jayhawks have been wildly inconsistent and were fortunate to win a game against Nebraska to avoid a three-game losing streak. Luckily for Kansas, the starting five for the Jayhawks are outstanding shooters (four of the Jayhawks five starters are averaging 15 points or more per game) that can hit a variety shots from anywhere on the court. With that being said, the talented starting five for the Jayhawks have been prone to cold spells from time to time, a weakness that the defensively sound Red Raiders will look to exploit and take advantage of early and often.

In a top-heavy Big 12 conference, the scrappy Cowboys have done well enough to stay relevant but are still technically a bottom of the barrel conference program despite a record of 10-3. With an offense that has been unreliable and anemic at times, the Cowboys have failed to overcome all but one of the ranked opponents they have faced despite their well-rounded pedigree. Conversely, the Sooners have unabashedly poured all their efforts into being one of the best shooting and passing teams in college basketball. While their defense has been nothing short of atrocious this season, Oklahoma has continuously overcome this blatant deficiency thanks largely in part to the electric play of Trae Young (29.6 PPG). Although the one trick pony tactics of the Sooner will certainly cost them some crucial games eventually, their offense is firing on all cylinders as of now and will likely overwhelm the capable but inconsistent defense of the Cowboys.

Although the American Conference may not appear particularly noteworthy at an initial glance, there are actually quite a few competitive programs that have quietly performed well up to this point in the season. Despite a 12-2 record and leading the way in the division, hardly anything has been said about the well-balanced and physical Houston Cougars. While the Cougars do not have a prolific scorer outside of Rob Gray (19 PPG), they do have tremendous depth on their roster when it comes to reliable rebounders (40 RPG). Ironically, despite being the 9th ranked team in the country, the Shockers are actually three spots behind the Cougars in the American Conference, although this has more to do with Wichita State playing one less game on the season rather than there being a noticeable competitive disparity between these two programs. With an offense that is multi-dimensional and cerebral, the Shockers have a clear advantage over a red-hot Cougars program that is probably on the verge of coming back down to earth.

Aside from losing three out four games earlier in the season, the defensively stout Terrapins have been on the verge of being great as all of their losses have come by a combined total of nine points. The issues for the Terrapins thus far have been getting clutch shots from their offense, with the Terrapins scoring success being predicated on pulling down a high amount of rebounds to garner extra scoring opportunities (40 RPG). Being the top-ranked team in the country, it’s relatively unsurprising that the Spartans are great to exceptional in both offense and defense. Blocking eight shots per game while scoring 88 points per game, the Spartans have the athletes and intelligent playmakers necessary to be proficient in nearly every way. While the Terrapins have fought vigorously in every contest they have participated in, the Spartans simply have more firepower and a better coach to lead them to another conference victory.

While it’s had to argue with a 13-1 record, the Blue Devils have been noticeably fallible when it comes to playing defense consistently (73.9 PAPG). With an offense that is ranked in the top two in points per game, rebounds per game and assists per game, the Blue Devils clearly have the elite talent to go far, they just need to be disciplined and efficient in more ways than one. Similarly, the Wolfpack have also had their issues defensively (70.6 PAPG), although they are not nearly as skilled or athletic as the Blue Devils are on offense. Although the Wolfpack is currently averaging 84.3 points per game, this statistic is not necessarily a strong indicator for a program that has gone through hot and cold spells when it comes to shooting the basketball. Although Duke needs to figure out and fix its defensive woes sooner rather than later, the Wolfpack will not pose much of a threat on defense to thwart the electric offense of the Blue Devils.

Arguably the most exciting and important ACC contest of the week pits the dynamically aggressive offense of the Tar Heels against the rock-solid defense of the Cavaliers. Even when the Tar Heels offense is not playing at an elite level, the overwhelming rebounding production from athletes Luke Maye (10.9 RPG) and Theo Pinson (5.3 RPG) has worked wonders when North Carolina needs to prevent the opposition from garnering extra possessions. Unlike the Tar Heels, the Cavaliers are below average at best on offense but are in a league of their own when it comes to playing shutdown defense (52.8 PAPG). Snatching seven steals per game, the Cavaliers are both opportunistic and fundamentally sound when it comes to lulling their opponent into a false sense of security and confidence. Although the Cavaliers have performed admirably with just a phenomenal defense and nothing else, the offensively potent Tar Heels have a multitude of proficient shooters that will eventually overtake a Cavaliers program that will not be able to score enough points to keep up down the stretch.

While the struggles for the Pirates on both offense and defense have been well documented in their two losses, they have somehow managed to win one tight battle after another. Although the will to win is impossible to quantify, the Pirates appear to have this intangible in abundance and have played well enough within the moment to win in thrilling fashion. Although the Bulldogs have struggled with consistency issues of their own this season, they have recently transformed into a relentless offense that is capable of scoring effectively from anywhere on the court (have scored 85 points or more during their four-game winning streak). In the end, this is a toss-up contest that will see both teams go hot and cold offensively throughout. However, the Bulldogs have performed noticeably better recently and will continue their white-hot shooting ways against a Pirates program that has lived on the edge for far too long.

Once again, college basketball fans will be treated to yet another crucial and highly competitive Big 12 contest. The hottest offense in college basketball will take on a Mountaineers program that has seemingly done everything right on offense and defense to allow them to overcome one opponent after another. Although the Sooners have just one loss on the season, it was and still is notable because it occurred when the Sooners offense was unable to overcome its propensity for committing unforced errors and turnovers (13 turnovers per game). When you consider that the Mountaineers are exceptional at forcing turnovers (11 SPG), it becomes clear that the prolific offense of the Sooners will most likely not be enough for them to win on the road in a very hostile environment.

With the Big 12 taking center stage this week, it seems apropos that the Saturday nightcap will feature two more such programs that are both vying for top honors in the conference. Interestingly, these teams are much alike in that they both struggle on the defensive end but are highly efficient when it comes to shooting the basketball. Aside from the offensive show that will be on full display, it will be compelling to observe which offense exhibits the most patience to find the open man who has the best opportunity to score crucial baskets. Despite their recent loss to Oklahoma, the Horned Frogs have been slightly more consistent on offense, a monumental difference that will be to the detriment of the inconsistent Jayhawks.

Stop me if you’ve heard this story before, Clemson and Alabama are playing in the College Football Playoff. I don’t care how many times I’ve seen this I get just as hyped every time! Saban vs Dabo, Tide vs Tigers! can you feel it!? Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide are dealing with a lot of injuries at the moment and hopefully will be a lot closer to full strength by the time kickoff rolls around. The Tigers on the other hand are healthy and ready to battle again!
Clemson absolutly manhandled Maimi in the ACC Champioship game, and if anyone was doubting how good this years Tigers were they got their answer very quickly. Clemson is led by QB Kelly Bryant who is cut from the same mold as former Clemson QB and now stud in the NFL Deshaun Watson. Byrant can beat you with his arm and his legs and it makes defenders go crazy trying to keep him under wraps. Clemson finished the year as the #1 team in the nation and have one of the top defensive units once again. They will have their handful with all the playmakers on Alabama’s offense.
The Crimson Tide have a lot of talent but not a lot of healthy starters. Their entire linebacking core has been dealing with injuries all season, and if you know anything about a Nick Saban team the Linebackers are the most important. This version of the tide is different, They have a offense than can score on anyone. With Jalen Hurts who is also an extremely talented dual threat QB, all those running backs including Damian Harris who averaged almost 9 yards a carry, and arguably the top WR in the country in Calvin Ridley. If the Tide want to win this game they’re going to have to do it with their offense and not their defense for once. They need to control the ball, keep Clemson’s offense off the field, and capitalize on scoring chances aka touchdowns instead of field goals.

With the top-ranked Villanova Wildcats losing to Butler last week, it only made sense to promote the fiercely well-rounded Michigan State Spartans to the top spot in the AP Poll. Interestingly, the highly compelling Sun Devils only dropped one spot from third to fourth despite losing on the road to the Arizona Wildcats. This slight movement appears to be the AP Poll Committees way of expressing their respect for a program that has not been this elite in decades, which is a refreshing sentiment when you consider how quickly teams can fall from stardom after just one loss to a perceived underdog.
Amongst the more surprising movements in the rankings or lack thereof was the Florida State Seminoles holding on to the 24th spot in the poll despite losing to Duke on Saturday. While the Seminoles were highly competitive and shot the basketball exceptionally well in loss to the Blue Devils, it’s somewhat unusual for a team ranked 20th-25th to lose a game and still remain ranked in the AP Poll. Beyond that, Arkansas’ ascendancy from being unranked to making their first AP Poll appearance at 22nd in the rankings was well deserved. A prolific offense that has been on a tear when it comes to shooting the basketball, the Razorbacks are finally receiving some recognition for their explosive scoring squad (90.4 PPG).

Although there are plenty of notable programs to admire and respect in the Big 12 Conference, the Mountaineers have looked like the most versatile and dominant program of the successful bunch. Possessing an opportunistic defense and a prolific offense, the well-balanced Mountaineers have the elite personnel and exceptional skill sets necessary to be potent on both sides of the court. With a compelling showdown against Oklahoma this weekend, the Mountaineers will get a grand opportunity to prove that they are for real as a top-ranked program.

More than 200 firefighters battled a blaze that erupted at a furniture store in the Bronx at 5:30 A.M. Tuesday morning. A total of 16 people were injured in the fire, but no deaths have been reported, according to Daily Mail UK. The blaze reportedly broke out at a four-story building in the Parkchester neighborhood at the corner of East Tremont Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue. Altogether, 168 firefighters are currently battling a massive blaze in the Bronx, New York. This fire comes less than a week after the deadliest apartment fire to hit the Bronx in 25 years, killing 12 people.
According to CBS New York, a total of 168 firefighters are combating the flames while outside in below freezing temperatures of 15F (-9C). Firefighters are attending to the fire in the furniture store, which is on the first floor of the four-story building. The three top floors are used for apartment purposes. There are 12 apartments in totals within the four-story building.
Twelve people have been injured. Much of the injuries sustained as a result of the fire appear to be non-life-threatening.
A multitude of firefighters is combating a five-alarm blaze. Firefighters broke through windows as a means to get people out of the building as smoke and flames rose to the top floor. According to reports, one woman woke up her neighbors by banging on their door, just in time to evacuate the burning building. Meanwhile, another woman exited the building with her two dogs after she was alerted to the fire by the smell of smoke.
“I woke up my husband, my kids and said listen there’s a fire in the building,” the woman said ABC 13. “By the time we opened the door in the hallway, there was black smoke.”
At this moment, the case of the fire remains unknown.
In a similar story: Less than a week ago, a three-year-old boy started the deadliest fire to hit the Bronx in a quarter century. He allegedly started the fire by playing with the knobs on the family’s stove.
Douglas County Sheriff’s Office
Matthew Riehl, 37, has been identified by law enforcement as the gunman who killed a Douglas County sheriff’s deputy and wounded six others on Sunday, December 31. early Sunday posted repeated online rants against law enforcement in the area. Riehl fired firing over 100 rounds while he live-streamed the shooting on Periscope.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office identified the 37-year-old Riehl as the man who shot the four deputies, a SWAT police officer and two civilians as they responded to a noise complaint at the apartment in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. On December 13, Riehl went on a profane rant against the sheriff and other officers in a YouTube video called “Fire Sheriff Spurlock”.
Riehl, a 37-year-old Iraq War vet, vowed to run against Spurlock as a libertarian and vowed to “fire all these bums come early next year.” While Riehl did not indicate as to why he had a beef with the department. But he called Spurlock a clown and flashed the business card of a specific officer whom he accused of being a pimp.
The four injured officers were identified as Deputy Michael Doyle, 28; Deputy Taylor Davis, 30; Deputy Jeffrey Pelle, 32; and Castle Rock Police Department Officer Tom O’Donnell, 41. Zackari Parrish, a 29-year-old father-of-two, was killed.
The Periscope video stream showed Riehl calling 911, claiming he’d been threatened by a roommate, saying he wasn’t there to hurt anyone but he does have guns.
In addition to the wounded officers, Riehl struck two civilians, neither of whom suffered life-threatening injuries.
According to the Denver Post, Riehl graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 201 and worked for a time as a lawyer in Wyoming. He also served in the Army Reserve and then the Wyoming National Guard as a medic, where he received an honorable discharge in 2012.
The University of Georgia Bulldogs and the University of Oklahoma Sooners played in a Rose Bowl for the ages on New Year’s Day, scoring a total of 102 points on the way to a 2OT Georgia Bulldogs victory.
One of the biggest stories of the game was Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm, who was starting in the Rose Bowl as a true freshman. At just 19-years-old, Fromm’s composure under center helped lead the Bulldogs to the National Championship game, which they haven’t won since 1980.
But while Fromm’s play on the field may have been the highlight of the night for fans, our highlight was seeing his mom in the stands and noticing she’s quite the dime.

Ringo Starr is the richest drummer in the world, best-known as a member of legendary rock group The Beatles. Most recently, Starr has found himself back in the spotlight, oddly enough as a knight. That’s right! He joins the likes of fellow Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney as someone knighted by the Queen of England. He’ll now go by Sir Ringo Starr as he was selected for knighthood by Queen Elizabeth II in her 2018 New Year’s Honors list. Starr is now considered to be a Knight Bachelor in the eyes of the queen.
As part of The Beatles, he’s written classics such as “Don’t Pass Me By” and “Octopus’s Garden”, as well as provided lead vocals for “With a Little Help from My Friends”, “Yellow Submarine”, “Good Night”, and a cover of “Act Naturally”.
Sir Starr is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, as he was inducted as both a solo artist (2015) and as a part of The Beatles (1988). He’s been a fixture in music and popular culture for over half a century. But how much money does he have after a lifetime in the limelight?

Starr officially began his journey with The Beatles in 1962. He was previously a member of the Liverpool group Rory Storm and the Hurricanes before linking up with his future Hall of Fame bandmates. The Liverpool native quickly adapted to The Beatles’ lifestyle, partying it up in nightclubs as an up-and-coming rock-star on the rise. At the time, he earned much of his income from a one-quarter share of Beatles Ltd and a small percentage of the publishing company Northern Lights, which was owned by Beatles bandmates Paul Cartney and John Lennon.
By 1963, the band was really taking off in the United Kingdom. Songs such as “Please Please Me”, “Love Me Do” and “Thank Your Lucky Stars” helped pave the way for Beatlemania in Britain. It wouldn’t be long ’til this wave of rock-star hysteria reached the United States homeland. By February 1964, The Beatles went mainstream on an international level, as their appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show reached a record 73 million viewers.
Starr provided lead vocals to the song “Yellow Submarine,” which was featured in the band’s seventh UK LP titled Revolver. This song is the only British number one single to have Starr sing lead vocals for The Beatles. Starr also provided lead vocals for the song “With a Little Help from My Friends”, which appeared on the 1967 album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Ringo met with The Beatles for the last time at Abbey Road Studios on August 20, 1969, for a mixing session of the song “I Want You.” John Lennon later quit the group on September 20. Paul McCartney would officially the leave The Beatles on April 10, 1970. The group released their twelfth and final studio album Let It Be on May 8, 1970.
Just before the release of The Beatles’ final album Let It Be, Ringo released his first solo album titled Sentimental Journey on March 27, 1970. Both his first and second album received harsh and mediocre reviews from critics. This struggling solo artist wouldn’t receive a number one hit in the U.S. until his third album Ringo was released, featuring top charting songs such as “Photograph” and “You’re Sixteen”. His third album was both a commercial and critical success.
Starr’s fourth album, Goodnight Vienna, also received a good measure of success, hitting the number eight spot on the US Billboard 200 and the number 30 spot on the UK Albums Chart.
In 1975, Starr founded his own company record label called “Ring O’ Records”. However, the company went out of business three years later.
Ringo has also appeared in a number of films throughout his career, including Candy (1968), The Magic Christian (1969), Blindman (1971), Son of Dracula (1974) and Caveman (1981). He’s also appeared on the big screen alongside his Beatles bandmates in films such as A Hard Day’s Night (1964), Help! (1965), Magical Mystery Tour (1967) and Let It Be (1970).
The legendary drummer and solo artist continued his musical journey well into the 21st century. He’s released almost twenty solo studio albums altogether. Most recently, Starr released his nineteenth album Give More Love on September 15, 2017.
Starr is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, first in 1988 as part of The Beatles, and then again in 2015 for his solo career. He was named the fifth greatest drummer of all-time by readers of Rolling Stone in 2011. In 1998, he was inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame.

YouTube star Logan Paul is facing backlash after he posted a video of himself and friends finding a hanging body in Japan’s Suicide Forrest. While Paul claimed that the video was supposed to be a “fun vlog” many think that Paul was making light of suicide, which is a serious issue.
The original 15-minute video, which was posted on Sunday, December 31, showed Paul and friends traveling through a forest at the base of Japan’s Mount Fuji known as the “Suicide Forest”. The “Suicide Forest” is infamous for the high number of self-inflicted deaths that happen there per year.
In the video, the group appears to discover a deceased body hanging from a tree. The most incendiary moment comes when Paul zooms in on the body while police are called:
“Top one, this is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m ain’t going to be sober for this s**t. I’m gonna drink this Japanese sake. Me smiling and laughing is not a portrayal of how I feel about the circumstances. Everyone deals with s**t differently. If you guys haven’t noticed,I cope with things by humor. While this is incredibly sad, I’ve said it a thousands times this is crazy,” Paul says in the video.

Paul, 22, was born on April 1, 1995, in Westlake, Ohio. He began making videos for YouTube when he was 10-years-old, eventually launching his own channel called Zoosh. Paul achieved widespread fame following the launch of Vine. Paul, who has over 15 million subscribers on YouTube, receives up to 20 million views on some of his vlogs.
An apology was released on Twitter, however, many are accusing Paul of making the apology about himself:
At 11:45 AM on January 2, Paul posted a two-minute apology video on Twitter, saying he “made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgment” and that the reactions seen in the video were “raw and unfiltered”. Paul also told his fans “not to defend his actions”.

Charli XCX, born Charlotte Emma Aitchison, is an English pop star who has released two studio albums, “True Romance” and “Sucker”.
Born on August 2, 1992 in Cambridge, Charli’s father is Scottish and her mother is a Gujarati Indian who is originally from Uganda. Aitchison grew up in Start Hill, Essex, and attended Bishop’s Stortford College in Bishop’s Stortford, although she left the school in 2010. Charli also studied at UCL’s Slade School of Fine Art in London, but also left during the second year of her degree course.
She began writing music at 14-years-old and began performing when she was 16. In early 2008, Aitchison began posting songs from her album on her official MySpace page, which caught the attention of a local promoter who ran illegal warehouse raves in London. Charli was invited her to perform at these raves, and despite the illicit nature of the shows, was supported by her parents, who even attended several raves with her.
Aitchison was billed as Charli XCX, which was her MSN Messenger name when she was a kid. Today, Charli XCX performs all across the globe and has over 2.4 million followers on Instagram.

A former teacher at a Maine Christian school, Nancy Leigh Ann Brann, had been arrested days before Christmas after allegedly sexually assaulting a student confirmed to be under 14 years of age by officials.
According to WMTW, Brann turned herself into police at a local jail. The alleged offenses took place during the fall of 2016 while Brann was working as a teacher at the Coastal Christian School in Waldoboro.
According to Fox News, the sheriff’s office confirmed the school was unaware of any illicit behavior as it was happening:
“There is no information the school administration had any knowledge of these alleged offenses prior to being notified by investigators.”
The sheriff’s office confirmed that the victim had been less than 14 years old; the victim’s gender is also unknown at this time.
Brann was 43 years old and is believed to have been a Waldoboro resident at the time of her arrest. A former teacher, Brann had been dismissed by the school shortly after the incident for unrelated issues.
According to Central Maine, Brann was accompanied by her attorney at the time she turned herself into police custody. She is currently being held at Two Bridges Regional Jail and is being charged with gross sexual assault and unlawful sexual contact.
Brann is currently being held on $10,000 bail, unsecured, under the following conditions: she cannot have contact with the victim or any children under the age of 16 and she cannot return to Coastal Christian School.
The Cleveland Browns have finally done it!!!!!!! Yes, that’s right those Cleveland Browns, You know the ones who always win 2 or 3 games a year and just look to have no direction. Well those Brownies have done what only ONE other team in NFL History has been able to accomplish! Lose all 16 games! The only other team to lose all 16 was the 2008 Detroit Lions. After years of trying the Browns were able to not win a single game. They had a ton of chances to win and games that were so close and coulda gone either way, but the Brownies prevailed and found a way to sneak away with the L.
I can sarcastically shit on the Browns all day but on a real note I respect their fans for doing this. So for those of you who may not know this Parade is majority funded by donations from fans. One fan has stepped up as the organizer of the parade his name is Chris McNeil. Chris started this as a joke last year when the Browns were looking as if they would pull off the 0-16 season. This “joke” started to gain a lot of traction as the Browns continued to lose and they even worked it out with the City of Cleveland that if they raised the money for Porter Potties, insurance and security they would have the parade. Unfortunately the Brownies won in week 16 over the then San Diego Chargers. Coincidence the Changers left after losing to the Browns? I’d be ashamed to show my face too! But regardless they had already raised a ton of money for the parade and after some coaches and players donated they gave 50k to the local food drive instead!
Back to this year, As each week passed the Browns continued to stack up the L’s and with each loss Chris McNeil thought more and more about the parade. Here comes Week 17 the Cleveland Browns are taking on the always tough Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers had already clinched their playoff spot decided to bench some of their stars to avoid injury such as Ben Roethlisberger and Le’veon Bell. Once that news got out there was suddenly a glimmer of hope that the Browns will once again win at the very end. The Browns Perfect Season “0-16” Parade will be held on January 6th at 1 P.M.
McNeil had this to say about this about the parade “The Football Gods are out there,” he said. “I don’t want to even think about next season. God willing, we will never talk about another 0-16 parade ever again after Jan. 6.”
The parade will feature trucks that are frequent at Browns Tailgates, Lots of paper bags, and my personal favorite “float” Custom Tombstones of all the QBs that played for the Browns since moving to Cleveland.
No use crying over spilt milk, the Browns lost every game so you might as well party!

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office
Nancy Leigh Ann Brann, 43, a former teacher at the Coastal Christian School in Waldoboro, Maine, was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a student under the age of 14-years-old.
Brann was taken into custody by authorities on Thursday, December 21, after turning herself into a local prison. According to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, the alleged incidents happened during the fall of 2016 while Brann was teaching at the Coastal Christian School, which is located about 60 miles northeast of Portland.
While the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the victim was a student under the age of 14 years old at the time, they did not disclose the student’s gender.
While the sheriff’s office did not detail the nature of the allegations, the offenses allegedly occurred in the fall of 2016 while Brann was a teacher at the school. Police said there is no information to indicate that the school administration had any knowledge of the alleged offenses prior to being notified by investigators.
Brann was dismissed by the school shortly after the offenses allegedly occurred for unrelated issues, according to the sheriff’s office.
Brann surrendered herself at Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset on Dec. 21, and she was released that day on $10,000 unsecured bail. According to Brann’s bail conditions, she is not permitted to have contact with the alleged victim, return to Coastal Christian School or have contact with children younger than 16.
She was being held on $10,000 unsecured bail with the conditions that she cannot have contact with the victim, cannot return to Coastal Christian School and have no contact with children under the age of 16.
This is the latest in a string of teacher/student sex scandals over the last couple of years. In November, Tennessee teacher Janet Smothers was arrested. Former nutrition teacher LaToya Parker was also arrested for a relationship with a student. Florida teacher Caroline Lawson was charged with sexual assault. 26-year-old Allyson Moran was also arrested for similar crimes. The 23-year-old high school teacher Katherine Ross Ridenhour was also arrested for an inappropriate relationship.
Furthermore, Hunter Day, 22, was also arrested after a sting operation. Megan Kotarski was also arrested on similar charges. Michelle Schiffer, a 23-year-old history teacher in Texas, was also charged and arrested for allegedly having sex with a teenage student. 29-year-old Alyssia Marie Reddy was arrested in Maryland for her crimes in New Jersey. Samantha Fitzgerland, a 28-year-old, was most recently arrested and charged. Jordan Ondish was arrested for her inappropriate relationship with a 19-year-old, while 28-year-old Samantha Fitzpatrick was arrested on similar charges.
Nicole Marie Andrews was arrested as well. 32-year-old Jessica Langford was arrested and charged with sexual assault-related crimes as well. A teacher from Oregon, Andrea Baber, was accused of having a sexual relationship with a student. Robin Dunlap, a teacher in Florida, was arrested for sending illicit photos to a 15-year-old boy in Texas. Teacher and tennis coach Jennifer Olajire-Aro was also charged. 42-year-old Heather Butts of California was arrested on a second-degree felony charge.

What other game would it be? Rockstar Games finally returns to topple every other game in 2018 with the release of the highly anticipated sequel, Red Dead Redemption 2. Set before the events of the first game, this title will follow Arthur Morgan as he joins the Van Der Linde gang. Not much else is known about the story… but come on, it’s Rockstar!

Scott Kologi, a 16-year-old New Jersey native, is expected to face murder charges for the deaths of his father, Steven Kologi, 44, his mother, Linda Kologi, 42, his sister, Brittany Kologi, 18, and family friend Mary Schultz, 70. Kologi allegedly shot and killed his family with a Century Arms semi-automatic rifle that was legally owned by a family member. Kologi reportedly spared his brother and grandfather.
According to reports from Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Kologi was taken into custody without incident after Long Branch New Jersey police responded to the crime scene around 11:44 PM Sunday, December 31. The quadruple homicide took place in Long Branch, New Jersey — a beach community of about 30,000 people.
Joe Rios, a longtime family friend of the Kologis, told the Asbury Park Press that he “wouldn’t expect anything like this from him” and that “this is out of the blue”:
After a report of gunfire about 15 minutes before the New Year, parents Steven and Linda Kologi, 18-year-old sibling Brittany Kologi and 70-year-old family friend Mary Schultz were found dead. The weapon, officials with the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said, was a Century Arms semi-automatic rifle, legally owned by a family member and wielded by a 16-year-old member of the Kologi family.
The boy was identified as Scott Kologi. He was taken into custody without incident shortly after Long Branch police responded to the crime scene — a house on Wall Street — around 11:44 p.m. Sunday, a minute after the 911 call came through.
Monmouth County Officials said in a statement that the tragedy was an “isolated domestic incident” that posed no threat to the general public.
In 2017 there were 345 mass shootings in total.
