At long last, the college football bowl season is upon us. In the first bowl game of the season, there is a contest between two very underrated teams. These teams are the North Texas Mean Green and the Troy Trojans. Both teams started the season with similar goals and that has remained true as the season has progressed. Both teams managed to win at least nine games and will look for a nice bowl victory to culminate a successful season.

North Texas’ success is due to sophomore quarterback Mason Fine. This season, Fine threw for 28 touchdowns along with over 3,700 yards passing. However, Fine is somewhat turnover prone and threw 13 interceptions in 13 games. If North Texas plans on puling off this minor upset, Fine will need to take better control of the ball. Fine’s job has been made easier by star running back Jeffery Wilson who ran for over 1,200 yards and 16 touchdowns this season. However, Wilson suffered a serious foot injury towards the end of the season and is expected to miss this game.

Troy’s success is primarily due to its running game. Troy has six separate players on its roster to score multiple rushing touchdowns this season. Leading the way is senior running back Jordan Chunn who scored ten touchdowns this season and averaged 5.0 yards per carry. Chunn played a huge role in Troy’s upset victory over LSU earlier this season when he ran for a staggering 191 yards on 30 carries. If Troy plans on winning this contest, expect Chunn to get the ball early and often.

As for my prediction, I have to side with Troy. Troy managed to win a share of its conference title and looks poised to add a bowl game victory to its phenomenal season. North Texas is good but Wilson’s injury is a huge blow to this offense that I do not think the Mean Green can recover from.

Both teams started the season with the hopes of qualifying for a bowl game and that has come true for both teams as the season has progressed. Both teams managed to win six games and will look for a nice bowl victory to culminate a successful season.

Western Kentucky’s success is due to star quarterback Mike White. This season, White threw for 24 touchdowns along with over 3,800 yards passing. White also has scored six rushing touchdowns this season which makes him a potential option in goal line situations. All season long, White has been forced to carry this team offensively due to the inability to develop a consistent rushing attack. Western Kentucky has used four running backs this season and none of them are averaging over 4.2 yards per carry. If Western Kentucky plans on winning this game, White will have to dominate through the air.

Georgia State’s success is primarily due quarterback Connor Manning. This season, Manning threw for 13 touchdowns and over 2,800 passing yards. Manning’s statistics might look unimpressive but it is partially due to the ineffective rushing attack that the Panthers possess. Out of the three running back who have more than 50 carries this season, none of them have more than 3.5 yards per carry. Manning has been forced to convert some long third downs all season due to the inability of the running game to pick up valuable yardage in the earlier downs. If Georgia State plans on winning this game, Manning will need to carry this team to a victory.

As for my prediction, I have to side with Western Kentucky. Both teams are extremely similar in the sense that neither team can run the ball well. However, I think that White is a better quarterback than Manning and I also think that Western Kentucky’s running game is slightly better than Georgia State’s. I expect this game to be somewhat low scoring but I will take the Hilltoppers by a touchdown.

With the bowl games finally upon us, expect a ton of competitive contests between equally talented opponents. In the third bowl game of the season, there is a contest between two above average teams. These teams are the Oregon Ducks and the Boise State Broncos. Both teams started the season with similar goals and that has remained true as the season has progressed. Both teams managed to win at least seven games and will look for a nice bowl victory to culminate a successful season.

Oregon’s success is due to sophomore quarterback Justin Herbert. This season, Herbert threw for 13 touchdowns along with over 1,700 yards passing. Herbert’s statistics might look unimpressive at first glance but he also missed five games this season due to injury. Herbert also has run for five touchdowns and can extend a lot of plays due to his mobility. However, Herbert’s job this Saturday might be more difficult due to the absence of star running back Royce Freeman. Freeman ran for 1,475 yards this season along with 16 touchdowns.  With him out for the bowl game, Herbert will need to have a big game through the air.

Boise State’s success is primarily due star quarterback Brett Rypien. This season, Rypien threw for 14 touchdowns and over 2,500 passing yards. Rypien’s job this season has been made easier by sophomore running back Alexander Mattison. This season, Mattison has over 1,000 yards rushing and 12 rushing touchdowns. Rypien and Mattison will need to have big games if the Broncos to an upset the Ducks.

As for my prediction, I am going to pick Boise State in an upset victory. Oregon has had multiple distractions leading up to this game which I believe will prevent the Ducks from performing at an above average level. Specifically, head coach Willie Taggart fled Oregon for the head coaching position at Florida State. With an interim head coach, I doubt Oregon’s roster will be fully focused on the game itself. I will take Boise State by a touchdown.

These teams are the Marshall Thundering Herd and the Colorado State Rams. Both teams started the season with similar goals and that has remained true as the season has progressed. Both teams managed to win seven games and will look for a nice bowl victory to culminate a successful season.

Marshall’s success is due to junior quarterback Chase Litton. This season, Litton threw for 23 touchdowns along with over 2,800 yards passing. However, Litton is somewhat turnover prone and threw 12 interceptions in 13 games. If Marshall plans on winning this contest, Litton will need to take better control of the ball. Litton’s job has been made easier due to the running back tandem of Tyler King and Keion Davis. Both running backs have over 600 yards rushing and at least five rushing touchdowns. Expect both of them to split playing time and help create manageable third downs for Litton.

Colorado State’s success is primarily due star quarterback Nick Stevens. This season, Stevens threw for 27 touchdowns and over 3,400 passing yards. Stevens also managed to score two rushing touchdowns which makes him a potential dual threat option in the red zone. However, Stevens’ job this season was made easier by running backs Dalyn Dawkins and Izzy Matthews. Both running backs had over 500 yards rushing and eight rushing touchdowns. Expect Colorado’s balanced attack to be on full display this Saturday.

As for my prediction, I have to side with Colorado State. Marshall has a solid team but Stevens is, by far, the best quarterback playing in this game. I expect Stevens to lead the Rams to multiple touchdown drives as the Rams win by a field goal or so.

These teams are the Arkansas State Red Wolves and the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders. Both teams started the season with similar goals and that has remained true as the season has progressed. Both teams managed to win at least six games and will look to add a bowl game trophy to their university’s collection.

Arkansas State’s success is due to junior quarterback Justice Hansen. This season, Hansen threw for 34 touchdowns along with over 3,600 yards passing. However, Hansen is somewhat turnover prone and threw 15 interceptions in 11 games. If Arkansas State plans on winning this contest, Hansen will need to take better control of the ball. However, Hansen’s statistics are even more impressive when you factor in his six rushing touchdowns this season. As a whole, Arkansas State’s offense will go as far as Hansen takes it. If Arkansas State plans on winning this game, Hansen will need to have a great game.

Middle Tennessee State’s success is primarily due star quarterback Brent Stockstill. This season, Stevens threw for 14 touchdowns and over 1,400 passing yards in just six games. Stockstill missed six games with a shoulder injury in the middle of the season and reinvigorated the Blue Raiders’ offense when he returned. Stockstill’s job this season was made slightly easier due to the three-headed rushing attack that the Blue Raiders possess. The team has three separate rushers with at least 45 carries and each of them are averaging over 5.1 yards per carry. If Middle Tennessee State plans on winning this contest, expect a balanced attack on offense throughout the game.

As for my prediction, I have to side with Arkansas State. I personally believe that Hansen is the most underrated quarterback in all of college football and believe that he will carry the Red Wolves to a victory. Middle Tennessee State has also been terrible in recent bowl games and I expect that trend to continue on Saturday.

Evergreen State College professor Naima Lowe was caught on camera screaming and singling out her white colleagues for their lack of diversity work. The professor has elected to resign from her position at the college under the condition that she be paid $240,000. “You are now these motherf***ers that we’re pushing against. You can’t see your way out of your own ass,” said Lowe in a heated lecture to her colleagues while also mentioning that the student protesters “are literally asking for the same s**t students have been asking for since the 70’s.”

Provost Jennifer Drake sent out an e-mail to faculty and administrators, announcing Lowe’s official resignation from the school. “I am writing to let you know that our faculty colleague Naima Lowe has elected to resign her position at the College,” said Drake while also praising Lowe for her work teaching “feminist and queer theory, race, and decolonial studies.”

In September, two other employees left their jobs at Evergreen State College. Bret Weinstein and his wife, Heather Heying, reached a $500,000 settlement with the school following volatile student protests that endangered their safety and caused Weinstein to flee the campus. Weinstein had previously sent out a faculty-wide e-mail that calls into the question the “Day of Absence,” which requests that all white people don’t show up on campus that day.

Lowe has reportedly called Weinstein a racist to faculty. She also wrote on Facebook, “Oh lord, Could some white women at Evergreen come and collect Heather Heying’s racist ass. Jesus.”

Who is Naima Lowe?

Naima Lowe taught art and filmmaking classes at Evergreen State. She’s a self-described “black queer artist” who has stirred up some controversy after a video surfaced of her cursing out two of her colleagues who were members of the school’s Equity Council. Lowe singled out these two colleagues and drew a single crowd as she screamed and cursed at them for their “lack of diversity work.”

“The Equity Council handed you a way to do this easily,” she said at the two colleagues. “You are now these motherf***ers that we’re pushing against. You can’t see your way out of your own ass.”

She also directed praise towards student protesters, saying they “are literally asking for the same s**t students have been asking for since the 70’s.”

In another video, Lowe is seen giving a speech at the Capital City Pride festival in Olympia, Washington. In the video dated back to 2015, Lowe condemns white gays and the white middle class.

“White supremacy…lives and breathes within every single white person standing here right now. I refuse to shut my mouth and let white people set this agenda,” she yelled out to the crowd who cheered on. She also made the claim that “the white gays, the white middle-class assimilationist motherf***ing gays, took over the [gay] movement with their assimilationist goals.”

According to a state document obtained by Campus Reform, Lowe had been threatening to sue Evergreen State College as recently as November.

It is not clear whether or not Lowe intends to sue the college. However, Crosscut reports that Lowe’s resignation is under the condition that the school pay her $240,000.

Upon her departure from Evergreen State College, Provost Jennifer Drake praised Lowe for “her years of teaching and service on behalf of Evergreen.”

“I want to recognize Naima’s many contributions to the College and thank her for her years of teaching and service on behalf of Evergreen. Naima joined the College in 2010 as a film and experimental media faculty member, and has taught regularly in media studies and film production as well as in interdisciplinary programs in cultural studies, feminist and queer theory, race, and decolonial studies. Naima is also a talented filmmaker and multi-media artist whose work has received regional and national recognition, and been exhibited at festivals, museums, and galleries across the country. Her work with students was theoretically rich, deeply creative, and transformative for those who studied with her. Naima also developed strong relationships with many staff and faculty, and we wish her the best in her future endeavors.”

Cassandra Renae White is a 34-year-old Davis High School English teacher from Oklahoma who took out a marriage license in the attempt to marry a 16-year-old student. According to the Davis school district, White has been fired after taking out a marriage license to marry a 16-year-old sophomore. Officials from the district say that they’re cooperating with law enforcement, but White has not been arrested or charged with any crime. The teacher goes by the nickname of “Cassie.”

The 16-year-old boy’s Facebook page shows that he plays football at his high school and had a teenage girlfriend.

“I love football Fridays! Let’s go Wolves!” said Cassandra White on her Facebook page. Her page is also full of pictures of her three small children.

Local television stations uncovered the fact that White and the teenage boy had applied for a marriage license with the boy’s father’s consent. These news stations obtained court records which back up this claim, making it a verifiable fact. Court records “show a Cassandra Renae White, 34, and a 16-year-old boy, filed for a marriage license in Cleveland County on December 13, which was signed off by the teen’s father. A 16-year-old can be married with parental consent,” reported Oklahoma News 4 television station.

According to court records, White paid $50 for the marriage license in Cleveland County, Oklahoma.

“The next day, Thursday, December 14, White was no longer employed by the Davis Public Schools,” the News 4 television station added, reporting that “Davis Police officers showed up at the Cleveland County Courthouse Thursday to look into the marriage license filing, as a part of the investigation. News 4 is not naming the teen, as he is the potential victim of a sex crime.”

Newson6 reported, “Police in Davis say they were investigating reports of a teacher having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year old student when the two went ahead and did something police never expected. They applied for a marriage license.”

The Teenage Boy’s Father is “Sick About It”

The boy’s father spoke with Newson6 about the odd situation between White and his son. “I’m sick. I’m sick about it. I didn’t want it to happen,” said the boy’s father before saying he agreed for the two to be married. “I weighed out the ups and downs of it and I thought, ‘Who am I?’ So, he asked me to do something. I did it.”

The boy’s Facebook is full of selfies and his status says “in a relationship.” He named a teenage girl as the person who had stolen his heart, naming her his girlfriend. One photo of dirtbikes is captioned, “evening date!”

The Davis School District released a statement regarding the marriage license incident.

“The district is currently cooperating with law enforcement in the investigation of these allegations,” the statement said. “The teacher in question is no longer employed by Davis Schools.” According to KTEN-TV, the district refused to comment further “because of the ongoing criminal investigation and the confidentiality rights of the parties involved.”

One upset mother spoke with Heavy.com about the incident. She’s a parent with a child who goes to Davis High School and she said, “I would like for the staff to do something to ensure these kinds of things don’t happen again. A relationship between a TEACHER and a student should NEVER be overlooked, even if the parent does give consent.”

Who is Cassandra Renae White?

Cassandra White is a single mother, former English teacher and once directed sports clubs. She has three young children. White goes by the name “Cassie” on her Facebook page and has yet to comment on the allegations.

The teenage boy’s father spoke with Newson6 and said that he doesn’t want White to lose her three children. He added that his son is almost 17-years-old and did not have sex with the teacher.

According to The New York Post, “No arrests have been made, but rape charges could be filed against White if she was involved in a sexual relationship with the teen. It is illegal for a teacher to have sex with a student enrolled in the same school system.”

Lawler breaks out. Dos Anjos throws a shot and misses wildly. Both men are jockeying for position as round one comes to an end.

Round 2: Both men trade shots. Rafael Dos Anjos goes wild, fighting Robbie Lawler into the cage. Dos Anjos hits Lawler in the jaw with a high knee and then fires away with a flurry of shots. Round 3: The fight continues. Both men are tired, but still fierce. Lawler locks Dos Anjos in the mid-section and both men are brought down to the mat. They’re both visibly tired and struggling. Dos Anjos hits Lawler with a few stiff kidney shots. Both men return to their fight and continue the onslaught. Lawler fights Dos Anjos int the cage. Dos Anjos fights back with knees and Lawler counters with stiff shots. Anjos hits Lawler in the side with knees, and Lawler counters with kidney punches. Elbow landed by Dos Anjos. Lawler falls. Dos Anjos mounts Lawler, struggles, but throws some huge elbows and forearms. Dos Anjos won’t let up. Lawler ends round 3 on his back.

Round 4: Dos Anjos dominates much of round 4 as well, fighting Lawler into the corner with a flurry of shots into the corner. Lawler fights back, but Dos Anjos dominates with punches. Dos Anjos kicks him in the head and continues the punches. Lawler fights back, but is dazed and misses a punch. Dos Anjos counters with a high knee to the jaw to end the fourth round.

Round 5: The fight wears on. Both men are very tired. Dos Anjos keeps the fight on Lawler, but they’re both very slow. The round ends. It appears as if Dos Anjos wins.

WWE Clash of Champions will feature the very best superstars of SmackDown Live battling it out under the bright lights of the TD Garden in Boston, Massacheuts. “The Modern Day Maharaja” Jinder Mahal is looking to reclaim the WWE Championship in the main event against “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles. Meanwhile, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are just to hold onto their jobs. They’ll be facing off against the likes of “The Viper” Randy Orton and “The Artist” Shinsuke Nakamura. Can KO and Zayn make it out of Boston with their jobs intact?

The WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos are set to defend their titles in a fatal four-way against three of the blue brand’s top teams. The wardens of the Uso penitentiary will have to fend off ya boys The New Day, the odd couple a.k.a. Rusev & Aiden English, and the All-American tandem Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin. Can The Usos escape this four-way prison with their titles in tow?

Meanwhile, “The Queen” Charlotte Flair will be surrounded on all sides as if she were in a prison. Kickoff Show: Mojo Rawley vs. Zack Ryder

Mojo Rawley was an absolute beast in this match. Zack Ryder tried his best, but he wasn’t good enough for Rawley. The Hype Bros are officially dead. Rawley sends Ryder crashing into the barricade. In the ring, Ryder mounts a comeback. But Rawley quickly regains controls and knocks Ryder senseless with a running forearm to the face in the corner of the ring.

Triple threat match for the WWE United States Championship: Baron Corbin (c) vs. Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler

Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler take out Baron Corbin, tossing him over the barricade. Ziggler and Roode fight it out in the ring. They don’t see “The Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin who fires back, gains control, taking out both men. He wears Roode down in the ring and then rams Ziggler’s spine into the barricade outside the ring.

When Corbin reenters the ring, Roode fights back with stiff shots. The crowd chants “Wooo!” Roode runs the ropes but gets caught in a thunderous side-slam from Corbin who goes for the pin. 1…2…Ziggler breaks up the pin.

Corbin makes Ziggler pay for breaking up that pin and stomps him out in the corner. Corbin turns his attention to Bobby Roode who fights back hard. Roode has Corbin shaken. Roode is in control, taking down Corbin with a clothesline and then a Blockbuster from the top rope.

Then outta nowhere, Ziggler jumps on Bobby Roode’s back. Roode fires back with a clothesline, but Ziggler returns to his feet quickly. Roode and Ziggler tangle. Roode ascends the top rope but fails. Ziggler hits a Zig-Zag and goes for the pin. 1…2…kick out!

Baron Corbin has returned and he’s putting the punishment on Roode and Ziggler. Roode hits Corbin with an elbow and then takes out Ziggler. Corbin hits a Deep Six on Roode and goes for the pin. 1…2…kick out!

Ziggler is about to take out Roode on the top rope, but Corbin turns the move into a power-bomb, suplex combo. Corbin pins Ziggler. 1…2…kick out! The crowd chants, “This is awesome!”

Corbin tries to attack Ziggler but gets sent out of the ring. Ziggler attempts a super-kick on Bobby Roode, but the move is turned into a spine-buster. Roode plays to the crowd and attempts the Glorious DDT. But Ziggler counters the move into a DDT of his own. Corbin returns to the ring to pick up the pieces but is sent out of the ring by his own momentum.

Roode takes out Ziggler with a Glorious DDT. But before Roode can get the 3 count, Corbin pulls him out of the ring. Corbin assaults Roode and attempts to take out Roode with an End of Days. Then outta nowhere, Ziggler hits a Zig-Zag on Corbin for the win.

Fatal 4-way match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship: The Usos (c) vs. The New Day vs. Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable vs. Rusev & Aiden English

This match is very fast-paced, all-over-the-place. Kofi Kingston of The New Day capitalizes on his high-flying ability to put the punishment on his opponent. Big E uses Kingston as a weapon, as Kofi drop-kicks Uso’s head into the corner. But Kingston couldn’t stop Rusev’s big kick. The crowd goes crazy, chanting “Rusev Day!”

Benjamin and English slow down the pace with submission-holds on The New Day. Gable and Benjamin double-team their opponent. Kingston takes out Gable with a big-time kick.

Aiden English is pissed off in the ring, so he doesn’t see Kofi Kingston fly from the top rope and take him out. Chaos erupts in the ring. Big E takes out Gable, while Uso takes out English with a Samoan Drop. Uso splashes Gable in the corner and Big E splashes Gable. Both go for the cover. 1..2..both kick out.

Big E and Uso argue. But The Usos go crazy with superkicks to everyone except Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin who turn the tide. Gable catches Uso in a Texas Cloverleaf. Benjamin catches Kingston from the top rope and powerbombs him. Aiden pulls Benjamin out of the ring. Rusev is about to take out  Chad Gable with an Accolade. But Big E breaks up the move. Rusev tries to roll up Big E, but he isn’t able to put away the big man. Rusev fires back with a Matchka Kick. Big E kicks out.  Rusev locks Big E into the Accolade. But Chad Gables comes from behind and hits Rusev with a suplex. Gables hits Aiden English with a suplex. He tries to hit an Uso with a superplex, but gets super-kicked.

Gable is finished off with an Uso Splash.

The Usos retain the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship after defeating Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin, Rusev & Aiden English, and The New Day

Lumberjack match for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Natalya

Charlotte and Natalya look up. Nattie takes down “The Queen” Charlotte, but falls out of the ring at Naomi’s feet. Noami starts kicking Natalya and throws her back into the ring. Charlotte capitalizes on a hurt Natalya but is soon thrown outside the ring as well. All the villainous women at ringside attack Charlotte; a mob of superstars maul Flair.

Natalya keeps throwing Charlotte out of the ring. Six lumberjacks attack Charlotte all at once. Natalya takes advantage of a shaken Charlotte and traps her in a head-lock.

Charlotte regains control, but the fight spills outside the ring and into true chaos. Everyone is fighting at ringside until Naomi springboards off the top rope and takes out everyone.

The fight returns to the ring. Tamina kicks Charlotte in the head from the outside. Natalya capitalizes by locking Charlotte in a Sharpshooter. Charlotte is able to reach the ropes but is pulled out of the ring. Chaos ensues once again.

Carmella tries to cash in her Money In The Bank briefcase, but is taken out by The Riot Squad. The fight continues outside the ring. Charlotte takes out everyone with a moonsault from the top rope.

Natalya brings Charlotte back into the ring and attempts to lock her into the sharpshooter. But Charlotte counters with a Figure Eight leg lock. Natalya taps out.

Charlotte defeats Natalya to retain the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship

Post-Match: Natalya is upset. She says that the WWE Universe and all the women have turned their back on her. So she’s going to “turn (her) back on all of you!” Did Natalya just quit? She’s crying.

Breezango vs. The Bludgeon Brothers

Luke Harper of The Bludgeon Brothers immediately levels Tyler Breeze with a stiff shot to the face. Erick Rowan gets the tag and stalks Fandango outside the ring. Rowan re-enters the ring but eats a kicks from Breeze. Rowan takes a kick from both men at the same time.

Breezango appears to be in control. But Luke Harper quickly turns the tide in favor of The Bludgeon Brothers, laying to waste Breeze outside the ring. The Bludgeon Brothers dissect their opponents. Rowan levels Breeze outside the ring by dropping his face on the ring apron.

The Bludgeon Brothers put away Fandango with a double-team Crucifix Bomb. Fandango has been bludgeoned!

If Owens and Zayn lose, they will be fired from WWE: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Randy Orton & Shinsuke Nakamura w/ Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan as special guest referees

Randy Orton and Sami Zayn tangle up. Orton maintains control and tags in Shinsuke Nakamura. Zayn takes hold of Nakamura and they begin to chain wrestle. Nakamura turns the tide and puts the pressure on Zayn’s shoulder.  Zayn reaches the ropes and the referee breaks up the move. Kevin Owens gets the tag and he starts wailing away on Nakamura in the corner. KO is being too vicious near the ropes, so the referee Shane McMahon breaks up the onslaught. Nakamura turns the tide and beats KO into the corner, but referee Daniel Bryan breaks up the assault.

Orton gets the tag and continues the assault. Orton takes down KO and goes for the cover. KO kicks out. Zayn attacks Orton from the apron. KO capitalizes and levels Orton. KO goes for the pin. 1…2…kick out! KO argues with Shane for not counting fast enough.

Sami Zayn is tagged into the match. Zayn talks trash while chopping Orton in the chest. “You want to take my job, Orton?” asks Sami. Orton turns the tide, but Sami tags in KO.

Owens levels Orton and stomps him out. He tells Bryan that he made a “3 count” before on Orton and then knees “The Viper” Orton in the head. KO tags in Zayn who applies a head-lock on Orton.

“The Viper” fights out, picks up Zayn and drops him midsection first on the ropes. KO gets the tag and levels Orton once more. Owens traps Orton in a head-lock of his own. Orton fights up and out. Orton throws some hard shots, but KO kills his momentum and tags in Sami Zayn.

Zayn maintains control, preventing Orton from tagging in Shinsuke Nakamura. Zayna taps Orton in a head-lock, but Orton fights out and takes out Zayn with a back-body drop. Both Orton and Zayn tag in their partners.

Shinsuke Nakamura is kicking ass! He’s putting the punishment on Kevin Owens. He’s hitting KO with knee-shot after knee-shot, kick after kick. Nakamura is a madman! Nakamura props KO on the top rope and delivers a running-knee to the gut. Nakamura goes for the pin. 1…2…kick out!

Owens tries to duck Nakamura but eats a kick. Nakamura fights off both KO and Zayn. KO tries to power-bomb Nakamura from the top rope, but the move is turned around into a triangle choke from Nakamura. Daniel Bryan goes for the counts since Nakamura’s shoulder’s are down. 1…2..kick out!

The referees argue. Meanwhile, Owens regains control with a big super-kick. Zayn gets the tag, takes out Orton on the apron, but runs into Nakamura’s boot. Zayn counters with a Blue Thunderbomb and goes for the pin. 1…2…kick out!

Zayn tags in Owens who hits a Senton Splash on Nakamura. All men are fighting it out in the ring. Sami Zayn and Randy Orton battle it out. Zayn ascends the top rope, but Orton stops Zayn’s momentum and drops him with an earth-shaking superplex. Owens pulls Orton out of the ring and throws him into the steel steps. Nakamura takes the fight to Owens, beating him into the barricade. Sami Zayn comes to the rescue. Zayn attacks Nakamura. Owens and Zayn remove the equipment from the announcer’s tables. Nakamura is propped up on the table and KO hits a splash through the table. The crowd chants, “Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t! Holy sh*t!”

Randy Orton and Sami Zayn return to the ring to battle. Orton drops Zayn with a scoop-slam. Orton drapes Zayn over the top rope and hits a DDT. Orton hits Zayn with an RKO. 1..2…Daniel Bryan breaks up the pin!

Shane and Daniel argue. Randy hits an RKO on Kevin Owens. Zayn rolls up Orton, but Shane won’t make the 3 count. Daniel and Shane look like they’re about to fight. Zayn capitalizes on the conflict, rolls up Orton, and Bryan makes the fast 3 count.

Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens defeat Randy Orton & Shinsuke Nakamura

WWE Championship match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal gains the early advantage in this main event match, taking down AJ Styles with brute strength. Styles returns to his feet. Mahal challenges Styles to a “test of strength.” Styles responds by kicking Mahal in the calf. A hurt Mahal exits the ring. Styles follows and takes down the challenger with a big-time calf-kick.

Styles is kicking ass. But Mahal quickly turns the tide and dominates Styles, tossing him midsection first on the ropes. The fight spills outside the ring. Mahal throws Styles over the barricade onto the exposed steel floor. Mahal brings the hurt AJ Styles back into the ring.

Mahal literally kicks Styles out of the ring and then drops him ribs-first onto the broadcaster’s table. Mahal brings the fight back into the ring and continues the punishment. He locks Styles into a legs-scissors submission hold. Mahal is squeezing Styles’ midsection. Styles is able to escape, but Mahal won’t let up. The challenger is completely dominating “The Phenomenal One.”

Mahal ascends the top rope and levels Styles with a chop to the head. Mahal returns to the top rope, but Styles catches him with a drop-kick. The challenger rolls outside the ring and the referee begins the 10 count. The Singh Brothers distract Styles who gets pulled off the apron by Mahal. Styles counters with a kick to Mahal’s gut. The fight returns to the ring. Styles springboards off the top rope, but Mahal pushes his foot which makes Styles crash midsection first on the top rope.

“The Modern Day Maharaja”‘ continues the punishment on Styles. He mounts the champion on the top rope. Styles breaks free and levels the challenger with an Electric Chair Drop.

AJ Styles hits a big-time neck-breaker but isn’t able to put away Mahal. The challenger gains the upper-hand and sends Styles seven feet into the air and then down hard on the canvas. Mahal isn’t able to put away his opponent either. Styles and Mahal exchange big moves. Styles drops Mahal with a Pelee Kick and is about to put him away with a Styles Clash. Mahal fights out, pushing Styles into the corner. Styles attempts a tornado DDT, but fails and eats a kick from Mahal. The challenger goes for the pin. 1…2…kick out!

Mahal attempts to hit a Khallus from the top rope. Styles counters with a Pele Kick and knocks Mahal off the top rope. Styles hits a springboard 450 splash. Styles is about to put away Mahal, but The Singh Brothers pull out Styles. Styles hits one Singh Brother with a Styles Clash.

Styles attempts a Phenomenal Forearm, but Mahal rolls out. Mahal hits a running-knee to the back of Styles’ head. Mahal hits a Khallus and goes for the cover. 1…2…kick out!

Mahal attempts a Styles Clash on AJ Styles, but “The Phenomal One” is able to escape. Styles counters with a Calf Crusher. Mahal tries to escape to the bottom rope, but Styles pulls Mahal back to the center of the ring. Mahal taps out.

Styles has been wrestling for almost 20 years. In 1998, he made his debut as a pro wrestling. Three years later, he found himself on the sinking ship of World Championship Wrestling, competing in a tag team known as Air Raid. After WCW folded, he won to become one of the biggest stars in TNA history. He’s a 2-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion and 3-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion. In 2016, he arrived in WWE and quickly ascended to the top, winning the WWE Championship by October of that year.

1998 – 2016

Styles made his official debut as a pro wrestling in 1998. During this time, he wrestled for the Georgia-based National Championship Wrestling (NCW) promotion as Mr. Olympia. In 2001, he received worldwide attention as part of the tag team Air Raid on WCW before the company went out of business. In 2002, he signed on with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and quickly became one of the company’s top stars. He’s the inaugural X-Division Champion In 2003, he won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in a three-way match against Jeff Jarrett and Raven.

“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles would go on to win the NWA World Championship a total of three times. He’s also a 6-time X-Division Champion, 2-time TNA Television Champion, 4-time NWA World Tag Team Champion, and 2-time TNA World Tag Team Champion.

After an 11-year-run with TNA, he went overseas to wrestle in Japan where he became a 2-time IWGP Heavyweight Championship. He also returned to Ring Of Honor (ROH). He’s worked with ROH from 2002 to 2006 and then from 2014-2016. During his time with ROH, he became a 1-time ROH Pure Champion, a 1-time ROH World Tag Team Champion, and the winner of the 2004 ROH Pure Wrestling Championship Tournament.

2016 – Present

AJ Styles made his WWE debut during the 2016 Royal Rumble match. He received a standing ovation from the live crowd and lasted nearly a half hour in the 30-man match. He then feuded with “Y2J” Chris Jericho, trading wins with him at pay-per-views. He made his WrestleMania debut that year, losing to Jericho. He then went on to feud with Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship but lost each time.

Styles next feud involved 15-time world champion John Cena. Styles defeated Cena on two consecutive occasions, once at Money In The Bank and again at SummerSlam. His wave of momentum continued all the way to the very top of the SmackDown brand as he defeated “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose for the WWE Championship at WWE Backlash 2016. He lost the title to John Cena at WWE Royal Rumble 2017.

“The Phenomenal One” AJ Styles then went on to feud with SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon. Styles defeated McMahon at WrestleMania 33. His next feud involved WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens. He battled Owens for the better part of 2017, trading wins and title reigns with him at pay-per-views. During this time, Styles became a 2-time WWE United States Champion.

After dropping the WWE U.S. title to Baron Corbin in a triple threat match at WWE Hell In A Cell, he returned his gaze to WWE Championship. He defeated “The Modern Day Maharaja” Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship on the November 7th edition of WWE SmackDown Live.

Except for that painfully cringe-worthy sneaker interview with Complex (Homeboy is gonna, like, get it), the younger of the Hadids has been batting 1000 this year. Whether it be walking in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, appearing in the LOVE Magazine or just plain crushing Instagram, Bella Hadid went from being the younger sister of Gigi Hadid to arguably the hottest model in the world right now.

For this year’s advent calendar, LOVE Magazine went with a “Stay Strong” theme by having all of the models exercise in some way, shape, or form. Other than Emily Ratajkowski, of course, who just rolled around in spaghetti — not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Jerry Richardson, a former NFL player and the founder and principal owner of the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League, is looking to sell the franchise after accusations of workplace misconduct.

Richardson was drafted in the 13th round by Baltimore Colts in 1959. Richardson played two seasons in the NFL and won Colt Rookie of the Year honors in 1959. He caught a touchdown pass in the 1959 NFL Championship Game from quarterback Johnny Unitas.

On October 26, 1993, Richardson became the first former NFL player since George Halas to become an owner when the Carolina Panthers were unanimously awarded the NFL’s 29th franchise.
