Bowen Paul Ellis, a 19-year-old Clemson University student, was found dead in his off-campus home on Saturday, December 9.

According to a press release from Clemson University, Ellis, 19, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, was found dead Saturday afternoon after his roommates found him unresponsive at their apartment. The Anderson Independent reports that Clemson police responded to a 911 call around 4:45 PM. They contacted the Pickens County Coroner’s Office shortly after.

Ellis’ cause of death will be determined by an autopsy. He was a forest resource management major at Clemson University.

Chris Miller, Clemson’s dean of students, said that Ellis was “well-liked” by his peers and his death has the left community shocked:

“All we know is that he was found unresponsive by his roommates. It’s just a real loss for our family. … It’s a tragedy,” Miller said.

According to Ellis’ obituary, Bowen enjoyed hanging out with his friends at Edisto Beach and had an immense love for the outdoors. He is survived by his parents Charles Betts Ellis and Traci Warren Ellis, and his two sisters, Grayson Betts Ellis and Carter Reid Ellis.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 12, in Mount Pleasant at the Bethel United Methodist Church.

Clemson is offering support and counseling services to students, who are encouraged to contact Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at (864) 656-2451 to speak with a counselor.

Donovan McNabb is a legendary former quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles who now finds himself under the spotlight yet again as a result of a recent sexual harassment scandal. During his football career, McNabb was always a gridiron great, leading the Eagles to five NFC East division championships, five NFC Championship Games, and Super Bowl XXXIX. Recently, McNabb was hit with a stiff shot of controversy as he was named in a sexual harassment suit alleging that he sent sexually explicit messages and comments to a female NFL Network employee.

McNabb was the Philadelphia Eagles’ resident quarterback from 1999 to 2009. He then ventured off to the Washington Redskins for a year and then spent a season with the Minnesota Vikings before officially retiring on  July 29, 2013. Donovan McNabb Net Worth as of 2017: $35 Million

The 12-year NFL veteran has accumulated a total of $35 million worth of assets. The majority of his career was spent as a quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. During his time with the Eagles, McNabb became the team’s all-time leader in pass attempts, pass completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns. His career as a quarterback is one for the record books. He ran 3,469 career yards rushing, which ranks as the sixth all-time best record for an NFL quarterback.

Let’s take a quick look at Donovan McNabb’s road to riches…

1999 – 2008

After four successful years of playing football and basketball for Syracuse University, McNabb moved on to the big leagues as he was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1999 as a quarterback. In 2000, McNabb ranked second in the Associated Press MVP voting. McNabb was a red-hot quarterback of the Eagles, advancing the team to the NFC Championship for the first time since 1980. During the off-season, McNabb was granted a  new contract worth $115 million over 1 years, with a $20.5 million signing bonus.

In 2004, McNabb led the Eagles to Super Bowl XXXIX against the New England Patriots. The Eagles lost in a very close encounter, with a final score of 24-21.

McNabb was then plagued with injuries, tearing his ACL and meniscus in his right knee, which put him on the shelf for the 2006 NFL season. Upon his return, his performance had declined.

2008 – Present

McNabb was already on his way out from the Eagles, but still performed spectacularly and led his team to the NFC Championship in 2009. During this time, he set a career high with 3,916 yards passing.

In 2010, he signed on with the Washington Redskins, where he had one of the worst years of his career. A year later, he signed on with the Minnesota Vikings, but didn’t stay with the team for very long after requesting his release from the team on December 1, 2011.

In September 2012, McNabb began his career as an analyst for the NFL Network. A year later, he moved on to Fox Sports Live, Fox Sports 1’s flagship program. He was also the FOX color commentator during a few games for the 2014 NFL season. After resigning from FOX in late 2015, he became an analyst for ESPN Radio as well as a lead analyst for beIN Sports college football coverage.

On December 12, 2017, McNabb was suspended from his job at ESPN following sexual harassment allegations. Jami Cantor, a former wardrobe stylist for the NFL Network, alleges that McNabb had sent her sexually-explicit messages and comments.

You ever spend a day doing something (like apple picking with your girlfriend), and when its all over, think to yourself, “Man, what a waste of a day?”. Now, imagine having that feeling about an entire decade.

If I was Robert Sutton, a professor of organizational behavior and engineering at Stanford University, that exactly how I’d feel after I just spent 10 years studying a**holes. For his book, “The A**hole Survival Guide”, Sutton spent more than 10 years of his career “deciphering the a**hole and the havoc they can cause for people”, in an effort to figure out the best methods to avoid them.

This isn’t Sutton’s first foray into studying a**holes, as his first book, “The No A**hole Rule”, was published in 2007.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, Sutton explained his obsession with a**holes and why he’s spent so much of his career studying them. The most interesting part of the discussion, though, was when Sutton revealed his four different types of a**holes: the Machiavellian, the Backstabber, the Purposefully Obvious, and the Clueless A**hole.

1. THE MACHIAVELLIAN

Machiavellianism in modern psychology is someone that is focused on self-interest and personal gain. These people take pleasure in someone’s else’s pain as it helps them reach their own goals in life.

Sutton described this person as nasty to a person’s face and not afraid to show that behavior.The Machiavellian type doesn’t hide from their a**hole behavior. Instead, they embrace it because they think it is what is helping get them to where they want to be.

2. THE BACKSTABBER

The Backstabber is more strategic about how they are an a**hole to others because they don’t always want to be portrayed as one. Sutton said the backstabbers can be the most dangerous because they pretend they are on your side for as long as possible before they no longer need you.

“They are more strategically competent a**holes. They kiss up and knock down people around them,” Sutton said.

3. THE PURPOSEFULLY OBLIVIOUS

This person acts as if they don’t know someone when they actually do. Instead of acknowledging a person, they will pretend they have no idea who they are in order to belittle them as much as possible.

This type of a**hole might not think they are being one because they aren’t saying anything, but their lack of acknowledgment speaks volumes. Sutton explained that power can make people feel like they are above others and therefore think they are allowed to behave this way.

4. THE CLUELESS A**HOLE

This person doesn’t even realize they are acting horrible to someone unless it is pointed out to them. Sutton said it’s best for people to surround themselves with those who are not afraid to tell them if they are acting like an a**hole.

But most importantly, it is on each and every person to recognize their own actions and how it can be perceived by others.

The rest of the article delves into how a**holes have learned how to thrive in the workplace and how to avoid said a**holes, and while interesting, all Sutton had to do was spend 20 minutes with my ex-girlfriend and he would have learned everything he needed to know.

Nicole Marie Faires Andrews, 31, is a former ISD teacher who has been charged with sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony. Andrews was formerly employed by Leander Independent School District. She has been accused of having an improper relationship with a minor at a church where she volunteered. However, the child did not attend the school where Andrews worked.

The Williamson County Sheriff first began investigating the case against Andrews at the end of October after hearing sexual assault allegations and improper conduct. Andrews was later arrested without incident on Tuesday, December 12. She was booked into the Williamson County Jail.

Authorities say that Andrews is accused of having an ongoing relationship with a minor she met at church in Canyon Creek. Andrews had also worked at the church as a volunteer youth administrator.

The 31-year-old first began teaching at Cedar Park Middle School in August 2015, where she taught English/Language Arts. The church told the news station KXAN that they would not comment on the situation to the media. However, the church did say that they would send out messages to their members regarding the incident.

Andrews has been charged with sexual assault on a minor, which is a second-degree felony. The age of the child has not yet been released.

“The sheriff’s office opened an investigation into reports of sexual assault and improper relationship between a student and an educator in late October. Michael Chikindas, a Rutgers University professor in the food science department, has been relieved of his teaching duties after he allegedly uploaded anti-Semitic posts to his Facebook page.

Chikindas was removed as the director of the Center for Digestive Health and has been barred from teaching “required classes” after racist posts of his were discovered on his Facebook. Chikindas allegedly posted anti-Jewish and anti-Israel comments on his page over several months, including some saying the Armenian genocide was orchestrated by Jews. He claimed his Facebook was hacked.

A tenured professor at Rutgers since 2007, Chikindas began working at the University at 1998. According to NJ.com, he will undergo cultural sensitivity training and will be “subject to ongoing monitoring if and when he returns to the classroom”.

Rutgers President Robert Barchi said Chikindas will no longer teach required courses and will be removed from his post as director of the Center for Digestive Health at the Institute for Food, Nutrition and Health. Chikindas, a Rutgers professor since 1998 who earned tenure in 2007, will undergo cultural sensitivity training and will be “subject to ongoing monitoring if and when he returns to the classroom,” Barchi said. He said Rutgers is also seeking further disciplinary action through Appendix H of the collective bargaining agreement with the faculty union, which outlines the process of faculty suspensions at less than full pay.

“The faculty contract requires that a specific process be followed in making a determination if a suspension of a faculty member is unpaid or at reduced pay,” Dory Devlin, a spokeswoman for the university, said. “That process is being followed as the faculty contract requires.”

Barchi, in his statement, said: “This has been a sad and deeply troubling situation for our students and our staff, and for our faculty, who stand for much nobler values than those expressed by this particular professor. While the university is and should always be a place that challenges students to grapple with complex and even controversial ideas, this situation has threatened the trust between professors and students that is a prerequisite to learning.”

Chikindas could not be reached for comment.

Even in its offseason, Game Of Thrones may still be the most talked about show in the world.

Despite the fact that Thrones won’t be returning until 2019 (probably), fans are still clamoring for any ounce of information they can get. Whether it be major spoilers such as who dies next season or minor spoilers like how Jon lasts in bed with Dany (probably not long), fans around the world are looking for the slightest fix of their favorite television show.

And the latest fix comes from none other than Samwell Tarly, or at least the actor who plays Samwell, John Bradley. Bradley, speaking with TV Guide, discussed some very, very vague details about the show’s final season. Obviously, Bradley says that the “stakes definitely feel ramped up” in the final season.

He did reveal that this season would push all the characters we know and love (and some we hate) into new territory that will seriously test them. As an actor, he says, that’s the greatest treat of all. Finding out new things about someone you’ve been playing for years, simply because he or she has finally been placed in a setting or situation that’s entirely new to them.

“These characters are so detailed and so rich, you can feel that you’ve got a pretty good handle on your character. You can predict how your character will react in any given circumstance, but when you place these characters in a new environment, it’s always putting them under a microscope, and you constantly have to reexamine your character,” Bradley says. “Each of the characters this year is placed in a completely alien environment at some point in the season that they’ve never been placed in before. The thrill is seeing how they react to it and how they respond… This season, I think, more than any other is stretching these characters.”

The premiere date for Game Of Thrones season 8 has yet to be announced.

There are reports of a shooting at Eastridge Mall in San Jose, California. Police say that at least one person has been shot.

San Jose Police Department says the person shot in area of Tully Road and Capitol Expressway and not at Eastridge Mall.

San Jose police responded around 12:50 p.m. to reports of a person shot in the area of Tully Road and Capitol Expressway. When officers arrived on scene they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound, police said.

No suspect has been identified or apprehended.

Eastridge Mall is a 1.4 million square foot sopping mall owned by Pacific Retail Capital Partners & Silverpeak Real Estate Partners, Inc. and located in between Tully Road, East Capitol Expressway, and Quimby Road in eastern San Jose, California. The mall has an enclosed shopping area, restaurants and theaters. It is a split level mall, with part of the mall being 3 levels, and part of it being 2 levels.

The mall was opened on May 17, 1971 with the original anchors: Macy’s, Liberty House, J. C. Penney, Joseph Magnin Co., and Sears. Eastridge was the largest enclosed shopping mall in the West. Emporium-Capwell replaced Liberty House when the chain pulled out of California. After Macy’s bought Emporium-Capwell, they closed down the store. It remained vacant until a 2005 remodel when they demolished the store.

On January 15, 2016, a joint venture between Pacific Retail Growth Partners and Silverpeak Real Estate Partners acquired the Eastridge Shopping Mall from General Growth Properties, Inc. The total acquisition price was $200 million. The new owners announced that they will be investing approximately $15 million to upgrade the Mall.

Alyssa Michelle Lewis, a 19-year-old student at the University of Central Florida, was found dead in her campus apartment Tuesday, authorities said. Lewis was in her fourth semester at the University of Central Florida.

According to reports, paramedics found Lewis inside of her home dead around 10:30 AM at the university’s Lake Claire Community Apartments on Gemini Boulevard in Orlando. Police were contacted after family members had been unable to reach her. Lewis was in her fourth semester at the university and graduated from Jacksonville’s Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in June.

Fall semester classes at the University of Central Florida wrapped up Saturday. Police said Lewis’ roommates had already checked out by Sunday when residence halls closed for most students.

Adrienne Frame, UCF’s associate vice president and dean of students, said “we offer our most sincere sympathies to Alyssa’s family and loved ones, and we will make all of our resources available to support them.”

University of Central Florida police are investigating the death with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. While authorities have not yet determined a cause of death, investigators do not believe Lewis’ death suspicious and there is no threat to the campus.

In today’s edition of “Why you should never step foot in a McDonald’s”, we have an absolute crazy person going all Jersey Shore on the hardworking employees of an El-Paso Mickey Dee’s.

According to Alfredo Sanchez, the brave soul (lol) who recorded the altercation (but didn’t intervene) on his phone said the hardo fest happened at the McDonald’s on Montana and George Dieter in El Paso.

Apparently, this bath-salt addict looking motherf*cker had been waiting for his fries for over two hours and decided that he had ENOUGH, going full ‘come at me bro’.

Coming from Jersey, I painstakingly admit that this type of behavior is somewhat commonplace depending on where you are, but I had no idea the disease had spread all the way to Texas, kind of like that South Park episode where New Jersey expanded its territory into the rest of the country.

“We were eating and all of a sudden, like, I hear my friend say, like, what the heck,” said Sanchez. “And like, I see a guy come in with a big dog.” Sanchez recorded the video on his phone. “He’s telling the people, like, I waited two hours for my fries,” he recalled.

Sanchez said an unidentified man was irate over an issue about his food order. He told KFOX14 the man swiped a cookie display off the restaurant’s counter and started threatening an employee.

The El Paso Police Department confirmed officers were called out for reports of a fight going on at that McDonald’s location. “Finally, the cops get there and they just kind of get him,” said Sanchez. “They take him outside and another cop car comes in.”

So just remember people — never, ever, eat at a McDonalds. Whether it be the crazy people at the restaurant or the runs the food gives you when you leave, McDonald’s is never worth it.

We all have that actor or actress that just “does it” for us.

They may not be the most popular or the most talented or the most attractive, but for whatever reason, you love them.

That’s me with Jessica Chastain. For whatever reason, I am in LOVE with Jessica Chastain. A talented actress, but certainly not the best in the world and a beautiful woman, but certainly not the hottest, for some reason, I’m all in on Jessica Chastin.

Chastain, 40, was born in a small town near Sonoma, California. In 1998, she made her professional stage debut as Juliet in a production of Romeo and Juliet. The play helped her land an audition for the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City where she was granted a scholarship funded by none other than Robin Williams.

Chastain’s mainstream success came in 2011 when she appeared in six movies. These films included Take Shelter, Coriolanus, The Tree of Life, The Help, Wilde Salome and Texas Killing Fields. She up earned an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her work in The Help, and one year later, Chastain was nominated for Best Lead Actress for her role in Zero Dark Thirty.

Now, Chastain is one of the world’s most successful actresses, and rightfully so.

Nicole Andrews, 31, is a former 6th-grade teacher at Cedar Park Middle School who has been charged with sexual assault of a child.

Andrews, who was employed by Leander Independent School District, was working as an English teacher at Cedar Park Middle School at the time of her arrest. Andrews is being accused of having an improper relationship with a minor at a church where she volunteered. The victim was not a student at the school where Andrews worked. Reports indicate that Andrews began teaching at Cedar Park Middle School in August 2015.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff, the investigation into Andrews’ conduct began at the end of October after hearing sexual assault allegations and improper conduct. She was arrested on Tuesday, December 12 and was booked into the Williamson County Jail.

Authorities also claimed that Andrews is accused of having an ongoing relationship with a minor she met at church in Canyon Creek, where she worked as a volunteer youth administrator.

At the end of October, the Williamson County Sheriff began investigating an alleged sexual assault and improper relationship involving Cedar Park Middle School’s sixth-grade teacher Nicole Marie Faires Andrews. She was arrested Dec. 12 after authorities said she had an ongoing relationship with a minor she met at The Church at Canyon Creek, where she was a volunteer youth administrator.

Records show Andrews, 31, started teaching English/Language Arts at Cedar Park Middle School in August of 2015. The district said she resigned on Nov. 6, 2017.

In a letter sent home to parents and students at Cedar Park Middle School, Principal Sandra Stewart said they were notified of Andrews’ possible relationship with a high school student on Oct. 25. She was placed on administrative leave the same day pending an investigation by law enforcement. The district said the encounters never took place at a Leander ISD function or facility.

This is the latest in a string of teacher/student sex scandals this year. In November, Tennessee teacher Janet Smothers was arrested. Former nutrition teacher LaToya Parker was also arrested for a relationship with a student. Florida teacher Caroline Lawson was charged with sexual assault. 26-year-old Allyson Moran was also arrested for similar crimes. The 23-year-old high school teacher Katherine Ross Ridenhour was also arrested for an inappropriate relationship.

Furthermore, Hunter Day, 22, was also arrested after a sting operation. Megan Kotarski was also arrested on similar charges. Michelle Schiffer, a 23-year-old history teacher in Texas, was also charged and arrested for allegedly having sex with a teenage student. 29-year-old Alyssia Marie Reddy was arrested in Maryland for her crimes in New Jersey. Samantha Fitzgerland, a 28-year-old, was most recently arrested and charged. Jordan Ondish was arrested for her inappropriate relationship with a 19-year-old, while 28-year-old Samantha Fitzpatrick was arrested on similar charges.

Omarosa Manigault is the winner of the first season of The Apprentice and former political aide in the White House. She was the director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison for the President Trump administration.

Omarosa was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, before receiving a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Central State University.
