This Saturday will mark Iowa squaring off against Minnesota at Kinnick Stadium in a Week 9 meeting. The Hawkeyes are hoping for their third straight win the series, with Iowa being a 14-7 winner Minneapolis last year. In order to get people buzzed up for the game, Iowa has released a hype video with Hawkeyes announcer Gary Dolphin.
According to Land of 10, Iowa is hoping to improve to 5-3, with 2-3 in the Big Ten with a win. With the team having dropped three of their last four games, their only Big Ten win to the point was against Illinois earlier this month.
The Hawkeyes are certainly fond of their hype videos. Back in August, they released another one with narration from former Iowa football player Mike Daniels for a September game.
In early September 2017, Eric Chase Bolling, the 19-year-old son of former Fox News host Eric Bolling, was found dead in his University of Colorado bed. Bolling was reportedly enduring “emotional torture” over the sexual harassment claims against Fox News father. He was found on Friday, September 8, his blankets over him in a normal position.
According to various reports, Bolling, 19, was ‘destroyed’ after his father left Fox News amid claims he sent unsolicited photos of male genitalia to colleagues. While Bolling Jr’s exact cause of death is unknown at this time, the “working theory” is that he died from an overdose. However, souces tell TMZ that no suicide note, pill bottles or drug paraphernalia were found at the scene.
Now, six weeks later, Bolling Jr’s cause of death has been revealed. Eric Bolling Sr. took to Twitter to announce that his son’s autopsy revealed that he died of an accidental opioid overdose.
PEOPLE obtained the coroner’s report:
The Boulder County Coroner’s report, obtained by PEOPLE on Thursday, lists the cause of death as “mixed drug intoxication” and ruled it as an accident. The post-mortem toxicology report, which was completed on Sept. 11, revealed Eric Chase had cocaine, marijuana, alprazolam (commonly known as Xanax), and the opioid drugs, fentanyl and cyclopropyl fentanyl, in his system. “History of drug abuse and white powdery substance discovered at the scene,” stated the report.
Fentanyl, the same drug that also killed music icon Prince, is classified as a Schedule II drug by the federal government and its medical uses are typically pain management following surgery or for chronic pain. Cyclopropyl fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is chemically similar to fentanyl but is not intended for human or animal use.
Fentanyl is 50 times stronger than heroin, up to 100 times stronger than morphine.
According to the New York Times, drug overdose deaths in 2016 most likely exceeded 59,000, the largest annual jump ever recorded in the United States. Furthermore, drug overdoses are now the leading cause of death among Americans under 50. The Times report states that all evidence suggests the problem has continued to worsen in 2017.

Whenever I think about Taylor Swift, I think about a quote from I-Robot.
It’s the scene where Will Smith is explaining his motives to that smokeshow robot doctor (who used to be married to Tom Brady — fun fact), and he says: “Does thinking you’re the last sane man on Earth make you crazy? Because if it does, then maybe I am.”
That essentially sums up how I’ve always felt about Taylor Swift. For whatever reason, I’ve always felt like I’m the only one on the planet who thinks she’s not that hot and her music’s not that great. Seriously, give me Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, and Demi Lovato ANY day of the week over Taylor Swift.
Anyway, back to the video, which ironically enough, looks like an I-Robot rip-off.
For the song “…Ready For It?”, Swift dons some sort of futuristic cyborg vibe, which is apparently yet ANOTHER allusion to the fact that she’s no longer the girl she used to be. Hey, Taylor, we F*CKING GET IT, you’re edgy and mature now. Congratulations.
Overall, its par for the course for Swift: a shitty pop song littered with hints about her ex-boyfriends.
All that said, she does look pretttttttty sweet in that body suit, I’ll give her that. Totally would.
Folks, I’ve been pretty forthright for my distaste for the current administration, but let me tell you, this JFK files thing has been an absolute home run.
Although President Trump had originally planned on blocking the release, someone got in his earhole and convinced him otherwise (or, more likely, he realized this was an opportunity to seem transparent).
Well, despite the fact that the files have been released “carefully”, they’re still loaded with bombshells, my favorite of which was that the CIA considered hiring the mob to assassinate Fidel f*cking Castro.
First, as an Italian, shout out to the mob — generally terrible people, but wildly intelligent move-makers nonetheless. Just think about it for a second: not only were they in with state law enforcement but federal agencies such as the CIA. As Carmine Falcone says in Batman Begins, that’s not the type of power you can buy, but the power of fear.
But less Batman and more CIA/mob collabs.

A 1975 document from the Rockefeller Commission detailing the CIA’s role in foreign assassinations said plans to assassinate Castro were undertaken in the early days of the Kennedy administration.
The report said Attorney General Robert Kennedy, the President’s brother, told the FBI he learned the CIA hired an intermediary “to approach Sam Giancana with a proposition of paying $150,000 to hire some gunman to go into Cuba and kill Castro.”The attorney general said that made it hard to prosecute Giancana, a Sicilian American mobster.
“Attorney General Kennedy stated that the CIA should never undertake the use of mafia people again without first checking with the Department of Justice because it would be difficult to prosecute such people in the future,” the report reads.
The report also said the CIA was later interested in using mobsters to deliver a poison pill to Castro in order to kill him.
Essentially, these JFK files are a conspiracy theorists wet dream come true. Look for more bombshell modern American history nuggets like this one to come out more as the government continues to release more documents.

Halloween isn’t like Christmas, where people go house to house and sing holiday-related songs, but there are still Halloween-related songs out there that people enjoy listening to. Radio stations even like to get into the spirit…funny, spirit….by playing spooky songs around this time. Billboard Charts have even determined the Top 25 Halloween Song of 2017, as measured by Nielsen Music. Using digital sales, radio airplay and even streaming, the testing used digital song sales from October 28 to November 3, 2016; radio and streaming were looked at from October 25 to 31, 2016.
They never say that woman with black magic powers on her hand is a witch, but on Halloween, it’s the perfect time to get out of that broom-closet.
Rihanna, as lovely and honey-voiced as she is, sure has the ability to be “scaring you tonight!”
I don’t want to give anything away, but let’s just say this is a popular song for Halloween. As in, don’t get upset just yet if you prefer the Danny Elfman version.

After an electric Game 2 in Los Angeles that saw the Astros earn a 7-6 extra inning victory, the World Series heads to Houston tied 1-1 as both the Dodgers and Astros were able to win a game in Los Angeles.

Pitching for the Houston Astros is Lance McCullers Jr. McCullers returns to the Astros’ starting rotation after firing four scoreless innings of relief in ALCS Game 7 vs. the Yankees. The right-hander allowed one run on three hits with nine strikeouts in 10 innings throughout the entire ALCS.

Lisa Kennedy Montgomery is a humorous, libertarian political commentator featured on the FOX Business Network, where she host her very own show Kennedy every Monday through Thursday at 8 PM EST. The 45-year-old political satirist first became famous in 1990s, as the host of MTV’s Alternative Nation, which helped bring bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden to the forefront of mainstream rock culture.
Ms. Montgomery is a mother of two children, and a graduate from UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. She is both a registered Republican and an ideological libertarian. She describes herself as a “Republitarian,” and reportedly has a pink elephant tattoo on her upper left thigh.
Back in 2013, this libertarian Fox Business host discussed how her political beliefs “evolved over the years from Dan Quayle Republican to Gary Johnson libertarian.”
Here’s a snippet from her 2013 interview with Entertainment Weekly:
“Where I was back in the early ’90s, I really considered myself to be a Republican, and I wanted to be a Republican, but I didn’t like what the Republican party had to say about my gay friends, in particular. And I thought that the war on drugs didn’t make a lot of sense, even though I don’t take drugs. But that’s not the point when you’re interested in things like personal freedoms. It doesn’t have to be your cause in order to fight for it. But Kurt Loder and Penn Jillette both were like, ‘No, you’re libertarian. You’re not a Republican.’ And I didn’t even know what that term meant in 1993 when Kurt told me.”
She describes her show Kennedy as a “different and more casual” vibe than the typical show on the Fox Business Network.
The University of Kansas banned a Black Lives Matter activist from one of their buildings after he was accused of “threatening conduct” towards the dean. But now, the dean doesn’t work there anymore and that activist was recently hired as a a graduate teaching assistant in the school’s theater department. Wow.
Caleb Stephens is a licensed social worker and Black Lives Matter activist who belongs to the local Kansas chapter of the group. He is also a student at the University of Kansas, working on a doctorate degree, according to a report from The Lawrence Journal-World on Tuesday.
Roughly two years ago, Stephens was accused of accosting his dean, as he reportedly cornered the school work dean “unannounced and without appointment”. Stephens is said to have ordered the dean to send out a message that the activist would dictate. Shouting from Stephens was reportedly captured on video, which disrupted classrooms and was said to have made “other students to fear for their personal safety.”
Here’s a look at part of a letter dated December 2015 from the Office of the Provost, which describes Stephens alleged behavior, which resulted in him being banned from the School of Social Welfare building at the University of Kansas…
“You then began shouting at the Dean, from the doorway, and your voice could be heard up and down the halls. Your shouting — captured on video that I reviewed — disrupted classrooms, and caused instructors and other students to fear for their personal safety. Please note that if you engage in a similar disruptive and threatening conduct in other University buildings, you may be subject to arrest for disorderly conduct, and this ban may be expanded to include the entire campus.”
As a result of his “profanity-laced” behavior, Stephens was banned from that specific building until 2019, according to the Lawrence Journal-World. That newspaper also describes the details of the student’s recent hiring at the very same university where he accosted his dean. The source for that newspaper also contacted the cancellor’s office, telling them about Stephens past history on campus and online.
“The anonymous sender was concerned about Stephens’ language on Facebook, in which he wrote — seemingly in response to an issue of racial injustice — that “yt (white) people are such pieces of (expletive),” with “no accountability and responsibility.”
In 2016, Stephens spoke with the University Daily Kansan, stating that his altercation with the now-former dean Paul Smokowski resulted from earlier discussions this dean had with the black student activist group Rock Chalk Invisible Hawk.
Stephens was reportedly one of the students who came into the dean’s office unannounced, trying to convince him to “write an e-mail showing solidarity” with fellow social justice warriors.
The BLM activist who was previously banned has denied ever-threatening the administrator. However, he does admit to using expletives with the dean who he claims “didn’t f**king care about” minorities.
But back to the headline… Damn, that’s a lot of power. Seriously. You’d have to have a lot of clout to behave in such a manner with the end result of you getting a job at the very same university. How many of you would be able to curse out/talk down to your dean and wind up with a job at the very same university? This then inspires the poll of how would you have reacted if you were the University of Kansas…

We may have found the future of the NBA living in the Philippines. A little boy from the city of Marilao is wowing the internet with his crazy basketball skills. The boy seems unstoppable as he sends a seemingly never-ending barrage of multi-colored basketball balls into the hoop of the arcade game.
In the end, the little boy racks up almost 1,000 consecutive shots in a span of four minutes. This kid is a freakin’ machine. LeBron James better check himself or this tiny young buck is going to step up and take his job. Seriously though, this lad from the Philippines is a real baller. Just see for yourself…

Even though the Netflix gods have just blessed our lives with the return of Stranger Things for its highly anticipated second season, there are questions many of us have for the future of the hit Netflix show. So whether you’re taking your time watching the new season or it’s been burned into your retinas over the course of 24 hours, we’ve got some answers (although not solid) to your burning questions about Season 3 of Stranger Things!
While Season 3 of Stranger Things has yet to be officially announced by the streaming giant. But in a recent interview with Vulture, a third, fourth and (possibly) a fifth season of the show are basically confirmed to be coming to Netflix in the future. Rest easy fans, more adventures in Hawkins, IL are sure to be around for a long time to come.
While the Season 3 has yet to be formally announced by Netflix, the wait time between the first and second seasons of the show was close to a year and three months. So, fans can expect a similar wait time for the third season of the hit TV show. Expect a late 2018 release or even a 2019 release date.
Series creators, The Duffer Brothers, have all but confirmed the fact that they are envisioning the show as a four season run. They have been quoted in their Variety interview saying, “it will be a four-season thing and then out,” while recent reports have stated the cast and crew are campaigning for a fifth season of the sci-fi nostalgia trip.
Honestly, my guess is as good as yours. As we still don’t know too much about the events of the second season and the secretive nature of the show, details for the third season of the hit streaming show will definitely stay under wraps for a bit longer.
Seeing that the first trailer for the second season of Stranger Things premiered during Super Bowl LI back in February 2017 so fans can expect a teaser for the the third season sometime in Early 2018. Perhaps another reveal at the Super Bowl or another high profile television event.

After eight weeks of college football, there is a contest between two underachieving Big 12 teams. These teams are the Texas Longhorns and the Baylor Bears. Both teams started the season with different goals and that has remained true as the season has progressed. Texas was ranked in the AP preseason top 25 rankings and was expected to compete for a quality bowl game under coach Tom Herman. However, Texas has already lost four of their first seven games which means that there is a slim chance that this program will not even qualify for a bowl game this season. As for Baylor, the program hoped for success under first year coach Matt Rhule. However, the Bears are already 0-7 and have been eliminated from any bowl game considerations. This is a game between two desperate teams which should make for a competitive contest.
Texas’ season has been quite unpredictable to say the least. The Longhorns started the season in the top 25 but were upset by Maryland in the first game of the season. Many experts Texas’ season was over but Texas has remained extremely competitive in the following weeks. The main reason for this team’s competitiveness is due to starting quarterback Sam Ehlinger. So far this season, Ehlinger has thrown for six touchdowns and four interceptions. In addition to his success through the air, Ehlinger has 265 rushing yards this season and is averaging 3.2 yards per carry. If Ehlinger can make plays with his legs, expect Baylor’s below average defense to struggle.
Baylor’s season can be summed up in one word. Disastrous. A team that entered the season with bowl game expectations has already been eliminated from contention within its first seven games of the season. Coach Matt Rhule has made the team look extremely competitive in conference play but the Bears have been unable to muster enough points to end the losing streak. The main reason for the team’s struggles is inconsistent quarterback play. Both Zach Smith and Anu Solomon have both underachieved as the starter and it might be time to start another quarterback if the team hopes to win a game this season. Last week, freshman quarterback Charlie Brewer threw for two touchdowns and no interceptions against West Virginia as he looked like the best quarterback on the active roster. If Baylor hopes to win a game, look for Brewer to see an increase in touches.
As for my prediction, I have to side with Texas. Although the game is in Waco, I cannot back a winless team. Texas has a lot of offensive firepower and an underrated defense. I expect Texas to win by double digits against an inferior foe.

Chocolate is a very old form of food, candy, and drink. Chocolate drink was introduced as early as 1750 BCE by the pre-Olmec people on the Gulf Coast of Veracruz, Mexico. Barbara Ann Corcoran is an American businesswoman, investor, speaker, consultant, syndicated columnist, author, and television personality. As a television personality, she is a “Shark” investor on ABC’s Shark Tank.
The New Jersey native attended St. Thomas Aquinas College with a degree in education. However, after teaching for one year, she transitioned to business. She later became a “shark” investor on Shark Tank; Corcoran has invested in more than twenty businesses to date. As of 2017, one of the heralded faces of Shark Tank is worth $80 million.
After graduation, she taught school for a year but soon moved on working various jobs including a side job renting apartments in New York City. Shark Tank is an American reality television series that premiered on August 9, 2009, on ABC. Corcoran was a member or “shark” for the past nine seasons. To date, she has invested in more than 20 businesses. In September 2017 Corcoran was announced as a contestant on season 25 of Dancing with the Stars, where she was partnered with Keo Motsepe. She is the third Shark Tank “shark”—after Mark Cuban and Robert Herjavec—to take part.

Black cats already had their big day earlier this month on Friday the 13, but with Halloween coming up, they still have paths to cross. Once thought to be bad luck and the minions of witches, modern man has either learned it was wrong to misjudge our feline friends or mankind realized having powers to control luck is all the more reason to love and respect them. Many people are using the hashtag to promote awareness of black cats in need of good homes. Due to superstitious nonsense, some people may not give poor black cats a chance, or even abandon cats. Happy National Chocolate Day, Everybody! Our site has already some of the top memes for the holiday, but even Twitter has some love to give from chocolate lovers from around the world.

After eight weeks of college football, there is a contest between two Big 12 teams who have exceeded preseason expectation. These teams are the TCU Horned Frogs and the Iowa State Cyclones. Both teams started the season with bowl game expectations but no one expected TCU to be competing for a national championship. TCU was unranked in preseason rankings and was expected to finish in the middle of the Big 12 standings. Iowa State started the season with hopes of reaching its first bowl game since 2011. Unexpectedly, Iowa State is currently ranked and boast a 5-2 record. With Iowa State’s solid home field advantage, expect this game to be closer than expected.
The TCU Horned Frogs are currently 6-0 and are looking to prove that they are indeed a top four team in all of college football. In six of their seven games, TCU has won by at least 13 points and have looked like an elite team in college football. Last year, TCU thrashed Iowa State 41-20 and will look to do the same this Saturday.
TCU’s success is due to quarterback Kenny Hill. So far this season, Hill has 15 touchdowns with only three interceptions. Hill has been extremely accurate in the pocket this season and has a completion percentage of 70.2 to prove it. Last season, Hill threw 13 interceptions and was pretty poor in the realm of ball security. However, those issues look to be behind Hill and TCU is in title contention as a result.
Iowa State’s success is due to backup quarterback Kyle Kempt. This season, Jacob Park was named the starting quarterback before eventually leaving the Cyclones team for “medical reasons.” His absence turned out to be a blessing in disguise as Kempt took over after Park’s departure. As the starter, Kempt has thrown for seven touchdowns and only one interception. Kempt has also developed quite a connection with star receiver Allen Lazard. In just three games, this combo has already generated two touchdowns through the air and will look to do more against this TCU secondary.
As for my prediction, I have to side with TCU. Although Kempt looks like a solid quarterback, I think that TCU is the better all-around team. Iowa State has a great home-field advantage but I expect Hill to make some big throws in clutch situations to give the Horned Frogs the victory. I think TCU wins by a touchdown.

It’s week nine of college football season and what better way to heat up the week than with one of the most anticipated games of the season, Penn State versus Ohio State. After a vicious and well fought game last year, the Penn State Nittany Lions defeated the Ohio State Buckeyes with a score of 24-21 at the Beaver Stadium in State College, PA.
The loss at Beaver Stadium cost the Ohio State Buckeyes a shot at the Big Ten Conference but they did get to play in the college football playoffs. Any fan of these two teams are already aware of the bad blood between the two schools and as a former Penn Stater… the rivalry is real as hell. Previous games have erupted into pandemonium at either school due to the intense rivalry the schools have.
With one loss already under their belt, the Ohio State Buckeyes must win this game if they wish to see themselves in the Playoff or Big Ten Conference this year. Their embarrassing game with Oklahoma State back in September ended with a score of 31-16 and has fueled the Buckeyes into winning the rest of their games. Losing this game to Penn State again could spell trouble for Ohio State.
Penn State has their work cut out for them with their 7 game winning streak this season. Also the team must keep their guard up as they don’t have the best track record with Ohio State, back in 2015 when the Nittany Lions were last at Ohio Stadium they suffered a major loss of 15 to 30 which caused many Nittany Lions fans back in State College to erupt in anger.
