Holly is a nursing student from Tennessee, who went missing back in 2011. Her remains were found over 3 years later. On Friday, her killer was finally brought to justice in a court of law. He was found guilty of a slew of crimes, including felony murder in the perpetration of rape, and aggravated rape while armed with a deadly weapon.

Zachary Adams, 33, was found guilty of murder and aggravated rape in the 2011 slaying of a Tennessee nursing student. Adams was accused of kidnapping, raping, and murdering the 20-year-old Holly Bobo. He may face the death penalty for his crimes.

Holly Bobo originally went missing from her Parsons home on April 13, 2011. Her remains were uncovered roughly 3 ½ years later in woods in Decatur Count by two ginseng hunters, about 100 miles southwest of Nashville.

Jurors began deliberating this murder and rape case by Thursday afternoon, the tenth day of the trial. The judge, C. Creed McGinley, had previously moved the trial to Hardin County in search of an unbiased jury.

The brother of the deceased, Clint testified that on the day of Holly Bobo’s disappearance, he saw an unidentified man, dressed in camouflage, leading his sister into the woods. Prosecutors argue that Adams was mixed-up in the “dark world” of methamphetamine and morphine when he and two other men abducted, kidnapped, raped, and murdered the young Holly Bobo, and later disposing of her remains in the woods.

In his closing argument Thursday, prosecutor Paul Hagerman credited the testimony of star witness Jason Autry for proving Adams’ guilt in court. Autry testified that he assisted Hagerman in moving what he believed to be Holly Bobo’s body wrapped in a blanket. Bobo was reportedly still alive at the time, and Autry acted as lookout while Hagerman is said to have shot the 20-year-old by the Tennessee river.

“She was never gonna come out of that blanket alive, not a chance,” Hagerman said. “[Autry] knew just how guilty he was, just how guilty they all were – and for years, he kept his secret.”

Meet Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks has been “The Boss” long before ever arriving on WWE’s main roster. She’s a four-time WWE Raw Women’s Champion, most recently knocking off Alexa Bliss for the gold at WWE’s annual SummerSlam event last month.

Banks is laser-focused on reclaiming her championship. But she’ll have a pretty steep mountain to climb on her way to victory…

Meet Nia Jax

Nia Jax’s theme song says that she’s “not like most girls.” And when it comes to size, no lady in this contest can measure up to the monstrous, yet beautiful Nia Jax. She’s a former plus-sized model turned ass-kicking machine, who is looking to walk away with her very first Raw‘s Women’s Championship.

Can Jax finally win the top prize of her division? Or will another wrestler win the championship for the very first time?

Meet Emma

Emma is a bad-ass performer, who is very proud of her dark side. She’s known as “Evil” Emma, and it’s not hard to tell that she’s bad as f**k. The Australian-born performer has never won a championship in the WWE. This Sunday, she’s looking to turn her luck around in the Staples Center.

She started off on Monday Night Raw as the comedic side-kick of wrestler Santino Marella. Now, she’s let her humorous side die in favor of a bad-ass persona; she went from popping bumbles to beating her opponents into the mat by any means necessary. She’ll definitely be coming for Alexa Bliss’ gold this Sunday.

Meet Bayley

Bayley is that huggable, lovable wrestler who made a miraculous return to the ring after suffering a separated shoulder in late July. She was originally suppose to fight Alexa Bliss for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship at SummerSlam, but an untimely injury prevented the match from taking place. She returned on last Monday’s episode of Monday Night Raw, saving Sasha Banks from the likes of Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax. Bayley was quickly added to the championship match at No Mercy.

Now, Bayley is looking to recapture the coveted Raw women’s title in a predictably-intense fatal 5-way match against some of the best female wrestlers on the planet. Can Bayley hug her way to victory? You’ll just have to find out this Sunday.

Tensions between the governments of the United States and North Korea have been steadily rising. Recently, the military of Kim Jong Un fired a missile over the island of Japan, and President Donald Trump responded by labeling the DPRK’s supreme leader as “Rocket Man,” or “little rocket man.”

Trump says he’ll “handle little rocket man,” referring to Kim Jong Un. Trump says that Un is on “a suicide mission.”

However, North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho claims that Trump is the one on a suicide mission. He also called Trump, a “mentally deranged person full of megalomania.”

“Due to his lacking of basic common knowledge and proper sentiment, he tried to insult the supreme dignity of my country by referring it to a rocket,” Ri said. “By doing so however, he committed an irreversible mistake of making our rocket’s visit to the entire U.S. mainland inevitable all the more.”

Lil’ Kim, I mean Kim Jong Un has conducted more than double the amount of missile tests than his father, former dictator Kim Jong Il. So, yeah, this guy Un has a thing for testing out his nation’s weaponry.

Both Japan and North Korea really had a close call on Thursday, September 14, when Un’s missile flew over Japan, and sinking into the sea. If that missile had made direct contact with the island, who knows what could have happened…

But hey, it’s better to laugh than worry I guess. Comedy can be pulled from the most serious or tragic of circumstances. It’s probably a coping mechanism for our species. Live with it. Laugh it up, and check out some memes…

After another wild weekend of college football, the AP Top 25 for this week has seen perennial powerhouses like Florida State fall out of the rankings, while newcomers such as Georgia and TCU have climbed into the top 10.

Due to Hurricane Irma, Florida State played only their second game of the year this weekend, losing 27-21 to NC State to drop to 0-2 for the first time since 1989. The Seminoles fell out of the top 25 for the first time since 2011.

Following a 37-35 loss at Arizona State, Oregon dropped the rankings.

The Alabama Crimson tide, who has been ranked for 168 consecutive weeks, remains at the top following their 59-0 domination of Vanderbilt. The top 5 remained unchanged this week, as Clemson, Oklahoma, Penn State, and USC all notched wins.

22-year-old Robert Caleb Engle is being hailed as a hero after he confronted a shooter at Burnette Chapel Church in Antioch, Tennessee on Sunday night.

According to reports, Engle confronted the gunman inside the Burnette Chapel Church of Christ after the gunman allegedly opened fire on the congregation. Authorities are calling his actions “extraordinarily brave”.

Police say that Engle suffered a “significant head injury” after the gunman, identified as Kidega Samson, pistol-whipped him. Furthermore, authorities said the gunman accidentally shot himself, which gave Engle the opportunity to run to his car to get his own gun.

Engle then held his firearm at Samson until police arrived. He was taken to a nearby hospital to treat his injury.

A spokesman for Vanderbilt University Medical Center said two of the victims are critically injured, while the other four are in stable condition. The victims have been identified as William Jenkins, 83, Marlene Jenkins, 84, Linda Busch, 68, Katherine Dickerson, 64 and Engle, 22

Police say that Samson was charged with one count of murder, with additional charges coming later. The woman who was killed has been identified as 39-year-old mother Melanie Smith.

Police say the gunman wore a neoprene ski mask when he shot and killed Smith in the parking lot of Burnette Chapel Church of Christ, as the service ended shortly after 11 a.m. With his blue Nissan Xterra still running, the gunman then entered the rear sanctuary doors of the church and began “indiscriminately” shooting, police said. Among those shot were three men and three women, police spokesman Don Aaron said.

The church’s minister Joey Spann, 60, and his wife, Peggy, 65, were both injured in the shooting, said Nashville Christian School in a statement on Facebook. Spann is a Bible teacher and a high school and middle school basketball coach.

During the confrontation with Engle, the gunman shot himself in the left side of his chest, Aaron said. Shortly after the shooting, the gunman was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, he said.

After the struggle, Engle exited the sanctuary, got a gun from his vehicle and guarded the shooter until police arrived, Aaron said.About 42 people were inside the church at the time of the shooting, officials say. All victims, including the shooter, were taken to area hospitals.

Engle released a statement from the hospital on Sunday night:

I’ve been going to this church my whole life, since I was a small child. I would have never, ever thought something like this would have happened.

I ask everyone to pray for the victims, family members of the victims, our church community. Please pray for healing. Also, please pray for the shooter, the shooter’s family and friends. They are hurting as well.

I pray that through all of this that people will come to know Christ and I ask our nation to reflect on Romans 8:31: “If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Furthermore, Engle said that he does not want to “be labeled a hero” as he believes the real heroes are “the police, first responders and medical staff and doctors who have helped me and everyone affected.”

Engle was released from the hospital on Sunday night.

You would think being the richest man in the world would mean your biggest regrets in life would be few and far between. They say money can’t buy happiness or fix mistakes, but with a net worth of 85 billion dollars, I have to imagine regrets are a rarity for Bill Gates.

But Gates is human, after all, meaning he has regrets just like the rest of us. His biggest of all? Not making the “Control-Alt-Delete” command one button.

Speaking at the Bloomberg Global Business Network in New York, Gates revealed that if he could do one thing in life differently, it would be the Control-Alt-Delete command. Looking back, Gates says that he would have made it a single key.

“If I could make one small edit, I’d make that a single key,” Gates said.

This isn’t the first time Gates revealed his distaste for the now legendary command. While speaking at a Harvard University event in 2013, Gates made similar statements, only that time, he pinned the blame on IBM:

“We could have had a single button. But the guy who did the IBM keyboard design didn’t want to give us our single button.”

The Control-Alt-Delete command was originally developed by IBM engineer David Bradley to enable employees to restart their computers and was never intended for public use. However, when Microsoft saw how popular it was becoming to solve technical glitches, they decided to roll with it.

Boy, that Saquon Barkley can play football.

As a fairweather college football fan and proud Rutgers graduate, rarely do I tune into Penn State football games, however, with the Nittany Lions in the national spotlight Sunday night, I decided to tune in and put a little action of Iowa
+13.5 (EZ $$$).

And while I came away from the game a little bit richer, I also came away with it as a newly minted Saquon Barkley fan, who may or may not be the best running back I’ve ever seen.

On Saturday night in Iowa, Barkley outgained the entire Iowa TEAM with 211 rush yards and 94 receiving yards. He also did this, giving his season the signature Heisman moment it may need:

And despite the fact that he’s a running back, Barkley now leads the Big 10 in RECEIVING yards after his massive Saturday night performance with 22 more yards than the conferences second-leading receiver:

Frankly, I haven’t seen a college football player dominate like this since Reggie Bush. About a third of the way into the season and Barkley is the CLEAR Heisman favorite as well as a top 10 NFL draft pick.

Nintendo

Nostalgic gamers of the past can finally rejoice as Nintendo finally releases the SNES Classic Edition for our chance to revel in some of the greatest games of the 16-bit era! SNES, which stands for Super Nintendo Entertainment System, was Nintendo’s second hit home console that flooded homes worldwide. The SNES Classic, a small mini version of the console, come packed with twenty-one of the systems’s best games including one that has never seen the light of day, the ever elusive Star Fox 2, and classics like: Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

As with the previous NES Classic, finding one of these units may end up turning into a hair pulling adventure. With pre-orders mostly sold and allocated by now, some sites will have a low stock for launch day and your best bet may end up being going in store to find one.

Let’s admit it right now, it is going to be extremely tough to get one of these consoles launch day online without forking over more than what Nintendo is asking for. So why give into these price gougers when tracking one down in store will do the trick!

Best Buy

Best Buy stores will be expecting the SNES Classic Edition on launch day. While their stock has been sold out online for some time now, expect some shipments.  Stores open at 10:00 AM. The retailer’s online store will also have a pre-sale before the official launch here.

GameStop

GameStop’s website for the SNES Classic won’t even let you try to pre-order the system, but fans can expect it to make an appearance at GameStop stores on launch day. Stores open at 10:00 AM, although shipments usually don’t come until later so expect a line.

Target

Sold out again online, I told you this was going to be hard. Fortunately, the system should be available for purchase at Target stores when they open at 10:00 AM. Like the Switch shortages happening nationwide, Target has been the most reliable with in-store tracking.

Toys R Us

Toys R Us’ product page for the SNES Classic has been down for sometime after it sold out last month, but it still seems that the system will be available for purchase at the chain on launch day.

Walmart

Walmart made the mistake of making the system available to pre-order earlier this summer before swiftly cancelling all orders. Fortunately, the retailer should have the system available to purchase on launch day when stores open, even if the product page is down on the website.
