This is it people, the one we’ve been waiting for. In what’s shaping up to be the most dramatic episode of Game Of Thrones yet, Jon Snow, Tormund, The Hound, Jorah, Beric Dondarrion, Thoros of Myr, and Gendry head “Beyond The Wall” with hopes of capturing a wight in order to convince Cersei and the Lannsters to join the fight north of the Wall. Xavier Woods had  The Usos catch his hands in the early going. But Woods also caught a kick to the jaw. The Usos were vicious, knocking Big E forehead first into the ring apron. But Big E got his revenge and dominated his opponents handling them like a ragdoll.

Woods even lifts up Big E on his shoulders and slams the big man down onto his opponent. But that’s not it, Big E and Woods performed a double-teamed back-stabber. Woods hits head butt after head butt.

“Xavier Woods is on fire,” says Michael Cole. But Jey kills his momentum. The Usos almost kill Big E on the ring apron, and perform a splash onto Woods. It looks like The New Day is done. 1…2…kick out!

But then Xavier Woods locks Jey Usos into a odd submission hold. Big E holds down Jimmy.  Jey escapes, but Woods knocks him down with a Shining Wizard. Woods goes for the pin. 1…2….kick out!

Woods keeps control, taking out an Usos on the outside with a tornado DDT. Woods and E perform an Up-Up-Dwn-Dwn double team. Xavier walks the ropes and takes out an Usos. But the pin-fall is broken up.

The Usos go buck wild, taking out both Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston by ringside. But Big E comes in like a bolt of lighting, jumping through the ropes and taking out an Uso. Big E dominates in the ring, but both Usos come around and nearly kill Big E. They repeatedly kick Big E in the head and then seal the deal with a big-time splash.

The Usos defeat The New Day to become the new WWE Raw Tag Team Championship

John Cena vs. Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin kicked serious ass in this match. Big-match John was floundering to the likes of “The Lone Wolf.” But Baron got too cocky and slipped up. One Attitude Adjustment is all Cena needs.

WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship match: Naomi (c) vs. Natalya

Natalya is really kicking ass. She’s showing Naomi how tough a former Hart Dungeon graduate truly is. Naomi tries to fight back, but Nattie is way too dominant and crushes her momentum. Natalya props Naomi up on the top rope, but the champion controls and drops her challenger back-first down to the ring. That took a lot out of Naomi too. Both competitors are tired, yet still fighting strong. Nattie hits a boot, but Naomi kicks her in the head.

Naomi fights back strong, escaping a Sharpshooter, flipping Natalya over, head-first into the turnbuckle. The champion ascends the top rope in attempt to hit a split-legged moonsault, but Natalya moves out of the way.

Nattie slaps in the sharpshooter and that’s it! Naomi taps out.

“The Modern Maharaja” Jinder Mahal is the warrior prince of WWE’s blue brand. Mahal is the reigning and defending WWE World Champion. Tonight, he’ll battle “The King of Strong Style” Shinsuke Nakamura in what may be the toughest challenge of his career.

Mahal had one of the most meteoric rises in the professional wrestling. He made his SmackDown debut in April 2011, aligning himself with The Great Khali. He then went onto a lackluster singles career only to become one of the funniest wrestlers in the WWE as part of 3MB. Mahal was released by the company only to be rehired in 2016 as part of the Brand Extension. Mahal went from lower mid-card to main event in no time. Less than a year later, he was riding high with the WWE World Championship around his shoulder. Let’s see how much dough this guy is working with in the bank.

Jinder Mahal Net Worth as of 2017: $300,000

Mahal has a nice chunk of change in the bank, and he’s sure to get much more dough over the years. He just blossomed into the main event this April after spending only looking at the main event from afar. Now, the “Modern Day” Maharaja is on the rise. He’s the first WWE Champion with Indian heritage and a legend in the making.

2002-2012

In 2002, Mahal began his career while only 16-years-old in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He’s the nephew of Stampede Wrestling legend Gama Singh. Mahal reigned as the PWA Heavyweight Champion for roughly two years, from 2008 until January 2010.

Jinder was picked up by WWE in 2010 and sent down to Tampa for Florida Championship Wrestling. As an in-ring character, he donned a turban reflecting his ancestry. Mahal said, “came out wearing a turban and had [his] full outfit on” and that “they like guys who speak different languages and have different looks”.

Mahal aligned himself with the 7’3″ giant The Great Khali. He turned Khali from a silly, kiss-cam playboy back to his monstrous ways. He eventually Khali and broke out on his own.

2012-2016

In 2012, Mahal’s single career was floundering. He placed into a group with Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre known as 3MB. This group didn’t make Jinder any more intimidating. It was more of a comedy act, not meant to be taken seriously. But man, were the memories amazing…

Mahal was released by WWE in 2014. He then spent two years in the independent scene, going by the name Raj Singh in Reality of Wrestling (ROW). He wrestled from Canada to Puerto Rico to Japan, honing his craft before WWE came calling 2016.

2016-Present

On July 27, 2016, Jinder Mahal was signed back into the WWE. He made his return on the August 1 episode on Monday Night Raw. Mahal had the opportunity to reunite with an old friend in Heath Slater, but decided to knock him out for a WWE contract.

Mahal formed a friendship with Rusev on the Raw brand. Both men didn’t like Enzo Amore running his mouth, and they teamed up to take out a common motor-mouth.

On April 11, Mahal was drafted to SmackDown Live as part of the Superstar Shake-up. He rose up the ranks of the blue brand in meteoric fashion. A week later, he won a six-pack challenge to become the #1 contender for the WWE World Championship.

Mahal’s career came full circle when he defeated Randy Orton to became WWE Champion at Backlash. He defeated Orton on two other occasions with a little help from The Singh Brothers and The Great Khali. Tonight, Mahal will face off against Shinsuke Nakamura at SummerSlam in the Barclay’s Center. Greg Fenves, the President of the University of Texas President Greg Fenves, has ordered the removal of statues of General Robert E. Lee and other prominent Confederate figures from the University’s main Austin campus.

On Sunday night, Fenves released a statement saying such monuments have become “symbols of modern white supremacy and neo-Nazism”‘ The university moved a statue of former Confederate President Jefferson Davis from its perch near the campus clock tower to a history museum in 2015.

Fenves announced the move late Sunday night as crews were in place to begin taking the statues down. The school also blocked off the area during the process, and the statues are expected to be gone by mid-morning Monday, a spokesman said.

Crews early Monday first removed a statue of former Texas Gov. James Stephen Hogg, which was commissioned at the same time as the others, a spokesman said. Hogg will get another place on campus.

Less than 30 people, both supporters, and opponents of Fenves’ order, congregated after midnight behind barricades near the statues. There was a heavy police presence and some arguments occurred between those gathered.

Fenves says statues of Lee, Confederate General Albert Sidney Johnston, and Confederate Postmaster General John H. Reagan on campus must be removed.

The university expects to be finished moving the statues by Monday afternoon.

Gamescom has arrived. The event, taking place as always in Cologne, Germany, was kicked off with Microsoft’s much-anticipated Xbox live stream. There were a ton of announcements, including world premieres, developer interviews and pre-order details for the Xbox One X — the latest Xbox console arriving November 7.

The latter half of the year is looking mighty fine for Xbox. Last week we published a list of the most exciting Xbox One games yet to release in 2017. But that’s not why you clicked on this post, so let’s get down to business.

Here are the five best reveals from the Gamescom 2017 Xbox briefing.

ReCore Definitive Edition

ReCore, the action-adventure Xbox exclusive from Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune and the team behind Metroid Prime, is getting an upgrade. The Definitive Edition, which supports HDR and enhanced 4K visuals on the Xbox One X, will release on August 29 for $20. It’s a highly slept on game, but with this upcoming release there’s a second chance for Xbox users to experience it. In addition to the enhanced graphics, the new Eye of Obsidian expansion, as well as a new Corebot, will also be made available in the Definitive Edition. Peep that trailer above.

Jurassic World Evolution World Premiere

Sea of Thieves Crossplay Support

Sea of Thieves just got a whole lot bigger. The online pirating adventure game, expected for launch during the first half of 2018, will share the same world between Xbox One and PC gamers, Microsoft announced. On top of that, we were shown another awesome trailer from the highly anticipated project, featuring on-shore gameplay as well as an intense ship battle — with players being fired from cannons.

There’s another “important feature” worth mentioning: puke buckets. If you succumb to sickness, you can puke into a bucket, then use that bucket against other players. I think I just found my weapon of choice.

Two New Xbox One S Bundles

Microsoft announced two new Xbox One S bundles coming this year. The first is a sexy custom 1TB Minecraft bundle, with a grass block print on its top and a transparent, illuminative Redstone casing on the bottom, “for the adventurers, the crafters, and those of you who just love dirt.” The bundle comes with a limited edition Creeper controller and custom Minecraft system sounds. There’s also a pink pig controller that will be sold separately. You can get your hands on this beaut on October 3 for $399.

Next is a Middle-Earth: Shadow of War bundle, set to drop alongside the game’s worldwide release on October 10. There are two versions: a 1TB and a 500GB, which cost $349 and $279, respectively. In addition to the console and one controller, both bundles will include a copy of Shadow of War, extra in-game items and a 1-month Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition and Pre-Order Details

“The world’s most powerful console” is almost here. And to celebrate its almost-release, Microsoft revealed a limited edition Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition, with an inscribed Xbox One X console and controller. If you fancy the look, you’ll want to pre-order ASAP because “once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.”

The Xbox One X runs with 40 percent more power than any other console, according to Microsoft. A ton of existing games are being updated to support 4K resolution, including Minecraft, Gears of War 4, Halo 5 and Quantum Break.

A solar eclipse is scheduled to hit the United States today for the first time in nearly 40 years.

A solar eclipse is a period in which the moon passes between the Earth and the sun. This wandering moon partially or fully blocks out the sun as a result of its movement relative to the position of both the sun and the Earth. This phenomenon only occurs during the period of a new moon, in which the sun and the moon are in conjunction as seen from Earth’s surface. This alignment is referred to as “syzygy,” which relates to a straight-line configuration involving at least three celestial bodies (sun, earth, moon).

The US  will experience a total solar eclipse today, Monday, August 21, 2017. The eclipse will cast a 70 miles shadow on the upper-northwest portion of Oregon at 10:00 A.M. local time. The dark shadow will travel past Idaho and Wyoming. At 2:45 P.M. (EST), the eclipse will move out through South Carolina.

When scouting the incoming rookie class for intriguing fantasy options, it’s easy to simply look at the first round to find several pro-ready talents. While the likes of Christian McCaffrey and Leonard Fournette are obvious options to flesh out your fantasy roster, there are also a plethora of vastly underrated first year players that could quickly emerge as consistent fantasy contributors. Although the notion of this years running back class being overloaded with talent may sound like a broken record at this point, it’s worth repeating considering the number of worthy choices. Specifically, third round selection Kareem Hunt could be a steal in the later rounds of your fantasy draft considering his versatility as a promising pass-catching running back.

Although Hunt may lack the sheer explosiveness that flashier backs such as Fournette bring to the table, he more than makes up for this deficiency with his uncanny ability to elude defenders(forced 100 missed tackles in college, best in FBS). On top of that, Hunt has an excellent burst of speed and is nearly impossible to catch once he is in the open field. All of this combined with his newly developed abilities to be a reliable receiver out of the back field (9.8 yards per reception his senior year) makes Hunt an intriguing rusher who has an extremely high ceiling.

However, while his electrifying performances on the field are certainly not in question, his potential contributions as a fantasy asset are still somewhat in limbo. This in large part has to do with Hunt being second on the depth chart behind Spencer Ware who, to be fair, has come a long way since being drafted in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft as a fullback. With that being said, Ware regressed slightly last year as a rusher (5.6 yards per rush in 2015, 4.3 yards per rush in 2016) and his once flawless ball security skills were a serious issue last season (fumbled the ball four times last year, had never fumbled the ball in his previous two years in the NFL). Still, Ware was still fairly reliable and put in a ton of work to develop his pass-catching capabilities.

When all is said and done, Hunt is one of the most exciting albeit hard to project fantasy assets going forward. While his well-developed versatility and elusiveness will certainly give him a great chance to become the first-string running back for the Chiefs at some point, he will have to continue to impress throughout the preseason and in the first couple weeks of the regular season to become a trusted featured back. As of now, Hunt is a late round pick that may not be productive right away but could be a coveted flex player if he continues to display his impossible to ignore abilities in Andy Reid’s running back friendly offense.

An incident is unfolding in Subirats, Spain, where police have shot Younes Abouyaaquob, the suspect from the Barcelona terror attack, while he was wearing an explosive belt.

The main suspect in the Barcelona van attack that killed 13 people has been shot and arrested while wearing a suspected explosive belt.

Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia is reporting that Younes Abouyaaquob has been arrested in Sant Sadurni de Noya, west of Barcelona. Spanish police declined to confirm the report but said on Twitter shortly before that an “incident” was under way in Subirats, 10 km away, without giving further details.

Several Spanish media, including Cadena Ser radio, said one man wearing an explosive belt had been shot dead in Subirats.
Abouyaaquob (22) has been the target of an international manhunt since Thursday’s van attack in Barcelona.

Authorities say they now have evidence he drove the van that ploughed down the city’s famed Las Ramblas promenade, killing 13 pedestrians and injuring more than 120 others.

Subirats is a municipality in the comarca of Alt Penedès, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

Everton heads to Manchester to take on Manchester City for the final match of the second week of the 2017 EPL season.

Both victorious in their season openers, Everton defeated Stoke City 1-0 in their home opener, while Manchester City defeated newly-promoted Brighton 2-0 on the road.

The winner of today’s match between Everton and Man City will be one of only four remaining undefeated Premier League teams, along with Manchester United, newly-promoted Huddersfield, and West Bromich Albion.

Man City without new signing Benjamin Mendy, who is out with a thigh injury, and midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, who is out with a knee. This game also marks Everton forward Wayne Rooney’s return to Manchester after playing for Manchester United for 13 years. Gylfi Sigurdsson, Everton’s club-record siging, is expecte to make his Everton debut today at the Etihad as well.

After an almost unprecedented series of leaks, it looks like HBO is once again being held internet-hostage by a group of hackers who claim to have stolen the season seven finale of Game Of Thrones.

Earlier this season, episode 4, “The Spoils of War”, was stolen and leaked by hackers. Then this past week, HBO Nordic in Spain accidentally uploaded the latest episode, “Beyond The Wall” to the internet, giving hackers plenty of time to rip it. Now, it appears as though the season seven finale is next.

“Be ready for GOT S& E6 &E7 as soon as possible,” the hackers warned.

For legal reasons, we did not attempt to login into the accounts to verify the accuracy of the passwords, but we have no reason to doubt their authenticity given the information the group has shared with us previously.

Over email, the hackers claimed to “have access to many HBO Platforms already,” and issued a threat that is sure to get the attention of executives — that Game of Thrones Season 7, Episode 7 is about to get leaked.

The continued leaks have thrown the Game Of Thrones community into chaos. Some fans have chosen to watch the leaks to beat potential spoilers to the punch, while others are claiming that true fans should wait. Personally, I’ve been watching the leaks, because I’ll be DAMNED if I’m going to let some troll on Twitter ruin this experience for me. And frankly, I don’t understand the people who are choosing to remain steadfast and watch live. That’s like having your parents allow you to open a Christmas present a week early and saying no — it just doesn’t make sense. Life is about instant gratification, and if you’re going to tell me I can watch my favorite show in the world sooner than I expected, I’m going to do so.

A solar eclipse is scheduled to hit the United States today for the first time in nearly 40 years. A solar eclipse is a period in which the moon passes between the Earth and the sun. This wandering moon partially or fully blocks out the sun as a result of its movement relative to the position of both the sun and the Earth. This phenomenon only occurs during the period of a new moon, in which the sun and the moon are in conjunction as seen from Earth’s surface. This alignment is referred to as “syzygy,” which relates to a straight-line configuration involving at least three celestial bodies (sun, earth, moon).

The state will experience a total solar eclipse today, Monday, August 21, 2017. The eclipse will cast a 70 miles shadow on the upper-northwest portion of Oregon at 10:00 A.M. local time. The dark shadow will travel past Idaho and Wyoming. At 2:45 P.M. (EST), the eclipse will move out through South Carolina.

Looking to wear welding glasses or helmets to watch the eclipse? Well, here’s some words of advice from NASA…

Experts suggests that one widely available filter for safe solar viewing is welders glass of sufficiently high number. The only ones that are safe for direct viewing of the Sun with your eyes are those of Shade 12 or higher. These are much darker than the filters used for most kinds of welding. If you have an old welder’s helmet around the house and are thinking of using it to view the Sun, make sure you know the filter’s shade number. If it’s less than 12 (and it probably is), don’t even think about using it to look at the Sun. Many people find the Sun too bright even in a Shade 12 filter, and some find the Sun too dim in a Shade 14 filter — but Shade 13 filters are uncommon and can be hard to find.

According to 11Alive, an Atlanta television station, “Most welding glasses are not strong enough to keep your eyes safe, if you are watching the eclipse with them.”

It was reported, “NASA recommends only using the darkest shades, 12 or higher, to view the eclipse. All the hardware stores we talked to were sold out of shades as low as shade 4.”

The American Astronomical Society created a list of eye safety tips and welding glasses didn’t come up. Therefore, is it worth the risk?

NASA says that the risk involved is serious retinal damage to your eyes. Gotta protect those peepers, folks!

NASA is putting safety first and disapproved of any homemade eclipse viewing glasses. “The only safe way to look directly at the uneclipsed or partially eclipsed sun is through special-purpose solar filters, such as ‘eclipse glasses’ or hand-held solar viewers. Homemade filters or ordinary sunglasses, even very dark ones, are not safe for looking at the sun; they transmit thousands of times too much sunlight.”

Looking for alternative ways to watch the eclipse? Here’s one method that NASA suggest, “An alternative method for safe viewing of the partially eclipsed sun is pinhole projection. For example, cross the outstretched, slightly open fingers of one hand over the outstretched, slightly open fingers of the other, creating a waffle pattern. With your back to the sun, look at your hands’ shadow on the ground.”

Since the sun appears completely covered by the moon, you might feel alright with looking up at the eclipse bare-eyed. But this can very dangerous since not all of the sun is covered. Some part of the sun’s core will still be exposed during the event, which means you better protect those peepers. Put on some approved eclipse viewing glasses in order to shield your eyes and prevent any damage to your cornea.

According to NASA, do not try and view the eclipse with a regular pair of sunglasses. That may harm your eyes big time. Your eyes are way too valuable, don’t destroy them.

But if you’re desperate to watch the eclipse then stick around for some intriguing home-made remedies…

Solar Eclipse Glasses

You can safety watch the eclipse practically for free if you have the right items and follow these directions properly.

Required Tools

• A lens. More specifically, Number 14 Welder’s Glass, which is available at your local hardware store such as The Home Depot. It’s paramount to your safety that you wear the correct lens. Click here and find out about the right lens to use.
• Large piece of cardstock
• A roll of tape
• A pen
• Scissors

“Look at the sky, you should see absolutely nothing,” Paul Delaney said to Motherboard. “If you can see anything through your solar glasses, with the exception of the Sun, then throw them away.”

Here’s what to do…

• Pick up a pen and create an outline of “handlebars” for the glasses and the lens. The handlebars are what goes around the ears. Need some help, then use this template.
• Use a scissor to cut the outlines
• Whip out some tape and seal the pieces of card-stock together, so that it resembles glasses.
• Cut the lens, so that it fits over the holes on card-stock cutout.
• From the inside of the glasses frame, be sure to tape the lens cutout.
• All done!

Cereal Box Personal Theater

You can view the total eclipse through a cereal box personal theater. Here’s what need to make this dream a reality…

Tools Needed

• An empty cereal box
• A Piece of aluminum foil
• A small nail/pushpin
• Tape
• Scissors

What to do

• Whip out a white piece of paper or cardboard, trace the bottom of the cereal box, cut out a rectangle and secure it to the bottom of the opened box. Look through the rectangle and see into the eclipse…
• Next, you’ll need to cut out two square on top of the box, which measures 1.5 inches each and securely then tape the lid together.
• Whip out some aluminum foil, cover one of the squares and tape it down. Next, you’ll need to place a small nail/pushpin through it.
• While using this new home entertainment system, remember to turn directly away from the sun, as it will allow the rays to shine through the small hole created from the nail/pin. In order to view the eclipse live, you’ll need to gaze through the other hole in the lid, the one without the foil.
• If you follow these directions, you’ll be able to see a projection of the eclipse safely.

• No pair of glasses? Can’t make a pinpoint solar eclipse viewer? Just use your hands then!
• Remember to start by looking away from the sun, and in the meantime, “crosshatch” those fingers to create tiny holes. Place your hand over one another in a perpendicular fashion, and it’ll look as if you’re peeping through blinds in the curtain.
• Don’t forget that you shouldn’t look directly into the sun through fingers. Therefore, you’ll need to catch the sun’s rays on a sidewalk or building.
