AJ Styles kicks off SmackDown Live

AJ wants to be a fighting champion. Therefore, he’s bringing back the open challenge for the US Championship. And who comes out to answer that challenge?

Cena wants to fight and Styles accepts the challenge.

WWE United States Championship match: AJ Styles (c) vs. John Cena

Kevin Owens music hits before this match can start. He says no one wants to see another Styles-Cena match. KO believes he’s the rightful man to challenge AJ for the title. Owens says that Cena doesn’t deserve the title shot and no one wants to see him there. Cena responds by saying he can’t see him.

Cena tells KO to step up and fight him. But then outta nowhere, Rusev attacks Cena from behind. Styles tries to beat off Rusev, but KO comes in to take out Styles with a pop-up powerbomb. Rusev inflicts more punishment on Cena, locking John into The Accolade. Rusev and Owens stand tall over their fallen foes.

WWE Champion Jinder Mahal vs. Tye Dillinger

Mahal takes control of Dillinger early on. Jinder levels Tye with a clothesline. He locks him into a submission hold and then whips him hard into the turnbuckle. The champion is simply dissecting Dillinger. Mahal locks Dillinger into a submission hold again. Dillinger manages to escape, but Mahal quickly brings him back down to the mat.

Tye fights back, trapping Mahal into the corner and unloading on him with a series of punches. However, Mahal quickly squashes Dillinger’s momentum with a knee to the face. Jinder finishes off his opponent with The Khallas.

Post-Match: Mahal sends out a stern warning for Randy Orton. Next week, he’ll bring the Punjabi Prison to SmackDown.

Xavier Woods vs. Jey Uso

Woods goes off on Jey with a flurry of punches. Jey regains ground. Kofi and Big E of the New Day enter the ring, and Jimmy Uso pops up on the apron. The referee ejects the Big, E, Kofi and Jimmy from ringside. Woods is distracted and turns around to a superkick.

Jey ascends the top rope, looking to put away Woods. Jey attempts a splash, but Xavier puts his knees up. Jey and Woods mix it up. Xavier is able to put away Jey with an elbow from the top rope (literally, he walked from the turnbuckle and walked on the top rope, jumped off and dropped an elbow).

WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi wants to know who her next challenger is, and it better not be Lana. Charlotte enters the room and is hungry for a title show. Out comes almost the entire women’s division, and McMahon makes a match. At Battleground, they’ll be a 5-women elimination match and the winner becomes the new #1 contender for Naomi’s title. The wrestlers in that match will be Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Tamina, and yes, even Lana.

“Ms. Money In The Bank” Carmella enters the office with her briefcase and piece of paper in her hand. It’s a letter from her lawyer demanding James Ellsworth be reinstated. Shane McMahon takes the letter and rips it into tiny bits.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin

Nakamura assaults Corbin before the match. Both men brawl outside he ring. Corbin sends Shinsuke over the barricade. The battling superstars fight amongst the fans. Corbin returns the fight to the ringside area. Meanwhile, WWE officials try to break up the fight. Corbin walks away. Baron looks back at Shinsuke from the entrance ramp.

Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch vs. Tamina Snuka & Natalya Neidhart

Becky tries to attack Tamina, but Ms. Snuka squashes the orange-haired Lynch. Tamina is solidly in control and bring the fight to the corner. Snuka runs right into trouble and Becky turns the tide. Becky controls the offense and tags in Charlotte. The Queen goes on the attack and puts the hurtin’ on Tamina.

Snuka turns the tide on Charlotte and tags in Natalya. Nattie drops Charlotte, but gets too cocky. Charlotte quickly returns to her feet and kicks some serious ass. Becky gets the tag again. Lynch comes in like a jolt of lightning.

Nattie brings the fight to the ringside area, and whips Lynch into the steel steps. During the commercial break, Nattie has Becky grounded.

Tamina gets the tag. Nattie and Snuka stop away on Becky in the corner. Tamina continues the punishment, but Becky breaks free. Lynch is looking for a tag, but Tamina quickly regroups and prevents that tag from taking place. Snuka is all over Lynch.

Nattie gets tagged back in. She locks Lynch in a breath-taking headlock. Becky breaks free and fights her way to Charlotte. The Queen enters the match and goes on the attack like a true she-beast. Charlotte is leveling her competition. But then “The Ravishing Russian” comes down to ringside.

Charlotte continues the punishment on Nattie. Lana distracts Charlotte while Natalya tags in Tamina. Snuka bides her time on the apron. Charlotte is about to lock Nattie in the Figure-Eight Leg Lock, but Tamina comes in and knocks The Queen’s block off.

Main Event: Kevin Owens & Rusev vs. John Cena & AJ Styles

Cena and Rusev start off this match-up. Rusev locks John in a headlock and Cena breaks free and catapults Rusev into the ropes. Rusev mows down Cena and then goes outside the ring to wave the Bulgarian flag. The crowd chants “USA! USA! USA!”

Rusev returns to the ring and faces off against a game John Cena. John controls the match, putting the punishment on “The Bulgarian Brute.” Owens gets the tag and beats Cena into the mat. Owens picks up Cena just to punch him down. KO brings John into the corner and tags in Rusev. Rusev stomps Cena into the corner. The referee gets distracted by AJ Styles, so Owens yanks on Cena’s head.

Cena stumbles out to the center of the ring, and Rusev cleans his clock as we go to the commercial break.

Rusev and Cena are brawling when we return from the break. Cena tries to fight off The Bulgarian Brute and go for the tag, but Rusev crushes him with a spinkick. The brute goes for the cover. 1…2…Cena kicks out! Rusev ascends the top rope and attempts a headbutt, but Cena moves out of the way. Styles finally gets the tag. AJ dominates, taking out Rusev with a clothesline and an elbow. Rusev tries to turn the tide, but Styles regains ground and locks the brute in a Calf Crusher submission hold.

Owens breaks up the submission. Rusev attempts a comeback, but AJ is way too slippery. KO distracts Styles, which gives Rusev enough time to level his opponent. Owens gets the tag and he double-teams Styles with Rusev. KO assaults Styles with his fists, and then traps him in a headlock. Styles fights up and out, and rolls up Big Kev for a pin attempt. 1…2…kick out!

KO quickly regroups and nails Styles with a clothesline. Owens goes for the cover, and AJ kicks out at 2. Rusev gets tagged back into the match, and he double-teams Styles with Owens. Rusev almost takes Styles head off with a superkick. He goes for the pin. 1…2…Styles kicks out!

Rusev talks trash to Cena and then traps Styles in a bear hug. AJ headbutts Rusev. Styles breaks free and takes out Rusev with a big kick. Both John Cena and Kevin Owens get the tag, but Cena is absolutely relentless. John takes down Big Kev and hits him with the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena is about to level Owens with an Attitude Adjustment, but Rusev runs in the ring and Cena puts down KO.

The Bulgarian Brute nearly takes off Cena’s head with a superkick. Styles springboards in the ring and takes out Rusev with a Phenomenal Forearm. AJ stuns Owens with a Pele Kick. And Cena finally puts away Big Kev with an Attitude Adjustment.

Quentin Tarantino is emerging from his creative hibernation after 2015’s The Hateful Eight. Word on the Hollywood street is that Tarantino is beginning to put pieces in motion for his next project that will examine the Manson Family murders. According to THR, he’s even begun talking with A-list actors about the project.

What’s Happening?

Tarantino is set to write and direct (as always) the untitled film while Harvey and Bob Weinstein are slated to produce (as always). Sources tell THR that WME is beginning to shop the movie to studios to co-finance and co-distribute alongside The Weinstein Company. This approach is similar to how the Weinsteins made Tarantino’s 2009 hit Inglorious Basterds, which saw Universal Studios come aboard as a financial and distributing partner.

According to the outlet, Tarantino is close to wrapping up his work on the script and that Brad Pitt, a Tarantino favorite from Basterds, and Jennifer Lawrence have been approached. Studios may get the package after Labor Day with a possible summer 2018 start date being eyed.

Script details are scarce at this early juncture, but one of the stories is aid to revolve around Sharon Tate, the actress and wife of director Roman Polanski who was murdered by Manson and his followers in 1969. Manson had ordered he followers to attack a house in the Benedict Canyon region of Los Angeles as he believed it was owned by a record producer who had previously rejected him.

On August 8, 1969, the four followers used guns and knives to brutally murder the eight months pregnant Tate and four other occupants. In 1971, Manson and several members of his group were sentenced to life imprisonment for these and several other murders committed that summer.

Why Does This Matter?

If the Manson project does indeed become Tarantino’s next film, it will be unique in that it will be the first of his movies to be based on true events. This may come as a disappoint to some fans who have enjoyed his original offerings such as Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained. In a blockbuster era saturated with franchises and reboots, Tarantino’s fresh ideas have always been welcomed.

However, the filmmaker is known for bringing his unique stylings to genre films such as crime, Westerns and blaxploitation. Now he may add true crime to the list in an Academy Awards styled fashion.

Tarantino has a special touch when it comes to creating memorable female characters such as the protagonist in Jackie Brown and the Bride in Kill Bill. If Lawrence is up for the role of Tate or another central female character, it could be very interesting.

Tabatha Lehman, 45, and Craig Schultheis, 46, were arrested in the early hours of Monday morning by a cop from Largo, Florida, after they were found to be having sex in public.

The arresting officer, Officer Logan Ward,wrote in his notes that the pair were ‘naked from the waist down performing sexual activities on each other’.

The Florida couple was having sex in public around 3 AM yesterday when a patrolman interrupted their tryst (which was taking place outside a closed business in Largo).

Lehman, 45, and Schultheis, 46, were not pleased to be interrupted by Officer Logan Ward, who reported spotting both defendants “naked from the waist down performing sexual activities on each other.”

Schultheis, Logan noted, repeatedly explained that he was “just trying to get a piece of ass.” For her part, Lehman repeatedly declared that she was “getting her pussy eaten out,” according to a criminal complaint.

According to the arrest report, alcohol may have played a role in the incident (ya think???) Both Lehman and Schultheis were arrested and charged with exposure of sexual organs, a misdemeanor in Florida.

The couple was released from jail Monday after spending about nine hours in custody.

August Adolphus Busch IV, the 53-year-old former CEO of Anheuser-Busch, has been detained by Missouri police after he allegedly tried to fly a helicopter while drunk.

Busch, 53, landed his chopper in a parking lot in the town of Swansea, Missouri before reboarding eight hours later. He seemingly appearing to be under the influence of alcohol.

However, he was not alone, as Busch was accompanied by his wife along with four loaded guns, prescription pills, and their eight dogs.

Swansea Police said in a Facebook post officers were dispatched to a report of a helicopter landing for an unknown reason around 12:40 p.m., and were concerned about the aircraft taking off again “due to close obstacles and buildings.” Chief Steve Johnson contacted the FAA at the time, and they advised they would investigate the landing.

About 7 hours later, police said they received a call saying the pilot, identified as Busch, “appeared too intoxicated to take off.” The helicopter’s rotors were spinning and the engine was revving up when an officer arrived on the scene. The arrivng officer then turned on the emergency lights on the squad car, and the pilot powered down the engine. Busch’s wife, Dawna Wood, was with him at the time, in addition to eight dogs in the helicopter.

After a second officer arrived on the scene, Swansea Police administed a standardized field sobriety test. Busch appeared unable to keep a single train of thought, and his speech appeared mumbling and slurred but he blew a .000 on a breathalyzer test

According to police, Busch’s wife said that her husband has anxiety issues and is off his medication because of recent fertility treatments.

Furthermore, officers also believed Busch may have been under the influence of a controlled substance. Police found Dexamethasone, which is used to treat inflammatory conditions such as allergies, in his pocket, but the prescription was for Busch’s wife.

Inside the helicopter were several loaded weapons, including a loaded Ruger LCR 22 LR revolver, and several bottles of prescription drugs.

Busch was released from the Swansea Police Department around 12:30 PM on Tuesday, July 11. No charges have been filed at this time.

On May 17, 2017, Soundgarden lead singer Chris Cornell died at the age of 52.

Cornell, who was an icon of ’90s grunge, trailblazing a new era of rock music with hits like “Black Hole Sun” and “The Day I Tried To Live”, shocked the world with his sudden passing.

At the time, Cornell’s representative Brian Bumbery told the Associated Press that the singer’s wife and family were shocked by his death, which he describes as “sudden and unexpected.”

Cornell’s death was ruled as an apparent suicide via hanging, just hours after he performed with Soundgarden at the Fox Theatre in Detroit.

Now, about two months after his death, police have released the photographs from the scene of Cornell’s death.

When police entered Chris Cornell’s Detroit hotel room they found his belongings, his prescriptions … and the exercise apparatus he used to commit suicide.

Detroit PD just released the photos they took of the room during their investigation, and they reveal the bathroom scene where Chris died. The exercise band he rigged on the bathroom door was on the floor, surrounded by a streak of blood.

There were 3 prescription bottles — prednisone (anti-inflammatory), omeprazole (antacid) and lorazepam (anti-anxiety). In the room itself … one of Chris’ guitars was on a chair, and his iconic shades were on the unmade bed.

The Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled Cornell’s death a suicide by hanging.

Is it possible that the Mayweathers are the world’s dumbest family?

Maybe you missed yesterday’s epic opening press conference between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, but it seems that during the two years Floyd has been out of the spotlight, he’s actually figured out a way to become dumber.

Sure, both fighters say they weren’t told they would have to speak, but I have a feeling Mayweather’s comments would have actually been more unintelligible if he had time to plan them.

And as if Floyd Jr. didn’t embarrass his family enough by mumbling through his half of the press conference, his equally retarded sounding father decided to make things worse afterward by crashing McGregor’s personal presser.

Mind you, this isn’t the first time that Mayweather Sr. has chirped The Notorious One. In May, back before the super fight was even officially announced, Floyd Sr. was already making outlandish claims about McGregor.

Police say they have identified the man they found dead at the College of William & Mary.

According to College of William and Mary spokeswoman Suzanne Seurattan, 54-year-old Lonnie E. Dove was found dead on the grounds of the Dillard Complex on Friday, July 7. Authorities say foul play is not suspected, but the medical examiner has yet to determine the exact cause of death

As our police chief indicated in a message this weekend, we know this is a difficult time for the family and our thoughts go out to them,” said college spokesperson Suzanne Seurattan.

William & Marry campus police began a death investigation after Dove’s body was found by a passer-by around 8 PM on July 7 near Ironbound Road in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Furthermore, a William & Mary representative told the media that Dove’s family had been notified of the death. The university expressed condolences to his loved ones on behalf of the school’s police department.

Williamsburg Police spokesman Major Greg Riley said that the university’s police department is heading up the investigation.

The Cherokee County Courthouse in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, has been shut down due to a bomb threat, according to sheriff’s department.

According to Cherokee County Sheriff’s spokesman Jason Chennault, an unidentified person called in the bomb threat to the Cherokee County Courthouse around 6:30 AM on Wednesday, July 12.

The Cherokee County Courthouse is on lockdown after someone called in a bomb threat, according to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.

Undersheriff Jason Chennault says someone called in a bomb threat to the Cherokee County Courthouse around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

At this time, no one is being allowed into the courthouse due to the threat. A bomb team is on it’s way, according to the Sheriff’s office.

There have been no injuries reported thus far.

The Tahlequah Public Library was also shut down as a precaution.

Judy Greer is one of those actresses you may not know by name, but you definitely know by face. She’s a, “Ohhh, her!” type of actress; someone who has been in everything and has a damn impressive career without ever skyrocketing to A-list fame. Trust me, you recognize her form a bunch of stuff.

Greer is also known for her role as Ingrid Nelson/Fatty Magoo on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Trixie on Californication and her many, many film roles (did I mentioned her 117 credits!).

So, yeah, if you’re looking for a veteran actress who is well-versed in both comedy and drama, look no further than Greer. She can hold it down and she just so happens to be very attractive. Look out for her in War for the Planet of the Apes.

Anna Schroeder, 15, allegedly shot and killer her mother, Peggy Schroeder, and then recruited her friend Rachel Helm, also 15, to help burn down the home to try and cover up the crime.

What Happened?

Anna armed herself with a .38 revolver and waited for her 53-year-old mother to return home in Morrison, Illinois, from work last Thursday. When she got home, Anna reportedly told her to put a towel over her face before shooting her in the head in the living room, according to a police officer’s testimony.

Prior to being officially charged with the murder, Anna wrote a Facebook post expressing love for her mother and asking for forgiveness for “not always being the best daughter.”

Since then, she has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, concealment of homicidal death and arson. Her friend Rachel has not been formally charged.

Because she is a minor, state law dictates that she will appear in juvenile court despite the severity of the charge. If convicted, she could be jailed until she is 21. As of now, the motive behind the alleged murder remains unclear.

The Sauk Valley News reports that Anna texted Rachel to confess to her mother’s killing on Thursday.

Police said Anna also texted Rachel a photo of her mother’s body when she refused to believe she had shot her.

Rachel’s mother reportedly drove her over to Anna’s house where the two tried to clean the blood out of the carpet. The next day, they are said to have moved Peggy’s body from the living room to the bedroom and covered her with a sheet before going out to buy more cleaning supplies. Ultimately, however, they decided to burn down the house in an attempt to destroy the evidence.

Firefighters found Peggy’s body inside the charred remains of the house after putting out the flames, according to KWQC.

Rachel then confessed everything to her mother, who took her to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Department for questioning.

Anna then posted a disturbing Facebook message on her deceased mother’s Facebook page. She said in the post: “I don’t even know if you can see me right now but if you can I just want you to know you were my best friend. I wasn’t always the best daughter and I’m so sorry. I love you so much mom I just want you to know and I’ll never forget you.”

Anna was brought to Bureau County Sheriff’s Department after Rachel’s confession where she admitted to the killing, police said.

Anna Schroeder is a 15-year-old from Morrison, Illinois. She is accused of fatally shooting her mother in the head and burning down their house with a friend to cover up the crime. She is due to appear in court on August 8.

The mayor of Gardendale that three people were killed in the shooting. Police believe the shooting was a domestic related incident.  The male suspect, armed with a handgun, fled into the woods after the shooting.

Gardendale police, Kimberly police, and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office are on the scene, forming a perimeter.

The Gardendale Police Department released the following statement around 9:30 AM:

“Gardendale Police Department is working an active shooter situation at Glenn Chapel Rd. and Willow Bend Dr. We ask that all citizens in this the Peach Tree community shelter in place. More information to follow.”

The suspect is a 52-year-old male with blonde hair, blue eyes and was wearing a camo t-shirt and blue jeans.

There is a heavy police presence being reported at a Gardendale residence in Alabama. Officers are on the scene in the 41000 block of Willow Bend Drive. According to reports, police are searching for a person who killed three people this morning at a mobile home park.

Police are advising residents in the area to remain in their homes as they search for a suspect who allegedly killed three people this morning at a mobile home park.

The suspect, a 52-year-old  white male armed with a handgun, fled into the woods. A perimeter is being established. He is described as having blonde hair, blue eyes and was wearing a camouflage t-shirt and blue jeans, according to a BOLO on police radio.

No other details were available at this time.

The footage was captured in the North Sea from one of the upper decks and it shows the monster wave rising ominously like Zeus standing from his throne before breaking over the front. Had the ship been any smaller, we’d be fishing out scrap metal. Check it out.

While myself and most rationally minded individuals would be cowering in fear, the man behind the camera can be heard laughing maniacally because he obviously does not fear death.

“That’s f—ing awesome!” he exclaims as only the homicidally inclined can.

So far, the video has been viewed nearly 5.5 million times and drawn a heavy storm of reaction.

“I’m in the Navy, and I would s— my pants if I saw that,” one user commented. We totally agree.

“Can you imagine being a sailor back in the day of wooden ships and something like this shows up?” another commented. No, no we can’t. We try to leave the comforts of Air Conditioning and WiFi as infrequently as possible.

The North Sea is part of the Atlantic Ocean and is located between the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France. It’s also a place I will literally never vacation to.

The alleged shooter has been identified as Kenneth Dion Lever, a 52-year-old white male with blonde hair who was wearing blue jeans and a camo t-shirt when he fled into the woods after fatally shooting two women and one man. Authorities are currently setting up a perimeter and searching for Lever in a joint effort between multiple departments. Police have asked Gardendale residents to remain in their homes for the time being.

Lever is a 52-year-old male with blonde hair, blue eyes and was wearing a camo t-shirt and blue jeans.He is 5’10, 220 pounds. “If you see this individual do not approach and call 9-1-1. He is considered armed and dangerous,” police announced.

A statement from the Gardendale Police Department requested that residents to take shelter in place and do not leave their homes.

The wife or ex-wife of Lever claimed he was abusing her 11-year-old daughter.

“My daughter has a different disposition when she returns home,” the woman wrote. “She is very clingy to me and will not let me leave her.”

Lever has charges pending in Pennsylvania for sexual abuse with a minor, according to AL.com.

Lever was charged by Lower Windsor Township Police, York County, Pa., on Sept. 28, 2015 and Oct. 13, 2015  in two separate sexual assault cases, according to records obtained by The York Daily Record. In both cases, he was charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, indecent assault person less than 13 years of age, corruption of minors, and distribution of explicit sexual material of a minor.

Lever was placed in York County Prison on Oct. 12, 2015, on the first case on $100,000 and was bailed out the next day. He was again jailed on Oct. 15, and posted an additional $100,000 and released later the same day.

Both cases are scheduled for jury trial in York County Court of Common Please on September 11, according to online court documents.

Destiny 2 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor and adds a huge amount of game optimizing features, including new classes, a new story, new activities and plenty of new weapons, all with added bonus of more seamless gameplay and better graphics.

We’ve already gotten a bunch of information from the developers about the game and can expect a new beta soon. Here’s a quick overview about this AAA title so far and a look at the beta: when it comes out and what to expect in it.

Destiny 2 Trailer & Gameplay

A huge assortment of trailers has been released for this game so far, with so much content surrounding the game’s story elements, multiplayer experience, clan support, new weapons, reparations on Destiny and classes.

The open beta trailer doesn’t showcase much in terms of the game’s features, but it does promise three main gametypes to play once you download the beta for this gem: the opening mission for the story, a co-op strike mode and competitive multiplayer. All three of these are probably going to be limited in terms of their features; betas serve as a tool to help developers get a feel for what the fans think about the game and to balance elements of the gameplay.

We should expect a much more polished game from this though; the first game had a lot of small caveats to it that ruined some people’s experience for it, but grinding through missions in the first Destiny was an unforgettable experience, and we can hope to see the developers pick up on where they went wrong.

Destiny 2 Beta Release Date:

The Destiny 2 beta is scheduled to release in one week, with early access given to the special snowflakes who pre-ordered the game on the PS4 or got early access codes.

For consoles, the PS4 start time for the beta for those who pre-ordered it will be 10:00 a.m. PST on July 18, the pre-order early access time for Xbox One will be 10:00 a.m. PST the next day, July 19th, general access on both consoles begins at the same time on July 21st. If you have a PC, both the pre-order early access beta and the general access beta is scheduled for “late August,” according to Activision Blizzard during E3.

The game itself is set to release on September 6, 2017 across all three platforms.

Peyton Manning stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night where he discussed his post-NFL life and opened up about what he loves and hates most about those pesky and passionate Fantasy Football fans.

Manning diplomatically begins by crediting fantasy football for inspiring more interest in the NFL which he says is great for the game. But he also can’t help but point out that the interests of fantasy football owners rarely matches up with the reality of team goals.

Manning also went on to express his love for die hard fans who don’t compromise their commitment to their teams. Specifically, he remembers a Buffalo Bills fan who he threw a arm band to after a game years ago. Normally, anyone would be stoked to get a piece of Peyton Manning equipment like that. I know I would. But this kid? Chucked it right back in Manning’s face. Ballsy, but it earned Manning’s respect.

After that, the future Hall of Fame quarterback talked about his life after the NFL. He won the “perfect attendance” award at his local gym, and he talked about how he joined a gym to get out of the house…Understandable after a stellar 18-year-career.

Oh, and apparently Kimmel is convinced that Manning misses showering with his teammates.

Tara Marie Solem, a Georgia woman, has been charged with impersonating a federal agent in order to get a discount, police say.

Solem is accused of telling a drive-thru worker and two managers at a Chick Fil A in Marietta that she was working undercover for the government.

Solem was arrested after the incident on July 5 and charged with impersonating an officer and disorderly conduct, before posting a $7,370 bond to be let out of jail.

Solem first tried to convince the eatery’s drive-through worker that she was a federal agent. When that didn’t work she went inside. At the counter of the Macland Cross Circle chicken joint, she argued with two managers, hurling expletives within earshot of a few children, cops wrote.

Still trying to get some discounted food, she flashed a badge in a black wallet to the managers, police said.

“She stated that she was undercover and that for them asking her to be in uniform would blow her cover and possible [sic] get her killed,” according to the warrant. Solem called the restaurant chain’s corporate office to complain and gave the name, “Agent Solem.”

At one point during the incident, Solem changed her story, saying that she was an agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigations. The officer writing the warrant said they checked with GBI, and the agency had no record of “Agent Solem.”

According to court records, Solem paid $7,370 to bail out Cobb County jail less than 10 hours after being booked. Her next court date was not listed in the county’s magistrate court system.

Chick-Fil-A says that each individual restaurant is allowed to set its own discount policy.
