An Andrews Air Force Base helicopter has made an emergency landing in Montgomery County, authorities say.

What Happened?

The emergency landing was made at the Lee Jordan Field in the Takoma Park area shortly before 10:00 A.M. local time.

Authorities are saying the emergency landing was prompted by maintenance issues.

No injuries have been reported.

In April, an F-16C fighter jet that took off from Joint Base Andrews during a routine training mission suffered a mechanical issue and went down into a wooded area in Clinton, Maryland. The District of Columbia Air National Guard pilot ejected from the jet. No one on the ground was injured in that incident.

Joint Base Andrews is a United States military facility located in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The facility is under the jurisdiction of the United States Air Force 11th Wing, Air Force District of Washington. It was built in 1945 and has been in active use ever since.

The base is named for Lieutenant General Frank Maxwell Andrews (1884-1943), former Commanding General of the United States Armed Forces in the European Theater of Operations during World War II. The base is arguably best known for serving as the home base of two Boeing VC-25 aircraft which have the call sign Air Force One while the President of the United States i on board.

Jay-Z has officially announced the tour dates for his upcoming 4:44 tour.

The 31-venue tour begins on October 27at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California and ends back in California at the LA Forum on December 19.

The tour will make stops in all the nation’s major cities including, Los Angeles, New York City, Chicago, Boston, Las Vegas, Denver, Houston, New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta,  and Detroit.

Undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather claims in a recent court petition that he will not have enough money to pay what he owes on his 2015 taxes until he is paid for his August 26 superfight with UFC champion Conor McGregor.

What Happened?

According to Law360.com, Mayweather requested a reprieve from a tax court until after the bout with McGregor as his current assets are “restricted and primarily illiquid.”

The petition, filed on July 5th, is based on the Internal Revenue Service initially refusing a short-term installment plan, citing the fact that Mayweather has the means to pay the debt immediately.

“Although the taxpayer has substantial assets, those assets are restricted and primarily illiquid,” the petition said. “The taxpayer has a significant liquidity event scheduled in about 60 days from which he intends to pay the balance of the 2015 tax liability due and outstanding.”

The exact amount Mayweather owes in back taxes is unknown.

Mayweather (49-0, 26 KOs) has not fought since beating Andre Berto in September 2015. The boxer reportedly earned $32 million for that fight.

His 12-round bout against McGregor will be fought at 154 pounds and Mayweather’s purse could approach or even exceed what he made for his May 2015 fight against Manny Pacquaio, which was estimated to be $220 million.

Mayweather has generated approximately 19.5 million in PPV buys and $1.3 billion in revenue throughout his career, surpassing the likes of former top PPV attractions including Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Oscar De La Hoya, and Manny Pacquiao.

The MLB Home Run Derby is like the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. It is a celebration of the biggest and most impressive play in the respective sport, and the winner has some serious bragging rights. With home runs being hit at a historic pace this season , this home run derby could feature more excitement than ever before. All eyes in Miami will be on hometown star and the defending champion Giancarlo Stanton as well as rookie phenom Aaron Judge. Format

As of a few years ago, the home run derby switched to a time format instead of a pitch format. This means that each hitter will get four minutes to hit as many home runs as they can. They can call a timeout if they get tired, and can extend their time if they hit multiple home runs over 440 feet. The hitters will matchup in a bracket-style tournament with seeding determined by the number of home runs hit. Stanton is the number one seed as the defending him, and he is followed by Aaron Judge and the other contestants. The winner of each matchup will move along in the bracket until the finals, where a winner will be crowned.

Not a whole lot is known about Lucasfilm’s untitled Han Solo movie aside from the fact that directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller were fired for “creative differences” four months into production in favor of Ron Howard. We don’t know what the title is, we don’t know the plot specifics and we don’t know when we can expect the first trailer.

But we do know a little of what it will look like thanks to this leaked video.

Photos and video obtained by TMZ give us our first look at actor Alden Ehrenreich as everyone’s favorite space smuggler. There’s also a quick peak at Woody Harrelson as Solo’ mentor Meckett and a young Chewbacca. Check it out below.

Is that white-robed lady Emilia Clarke? We don’t know, but we hope to see Daenerys Stormborn early and often when the movie finally rolls around. The more Khaleesi, the better.

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to say with certainty just what exactly is happening in this video. We’re still pretty much in the dark in terms of the film’s plot. But it definitely looks like a Star Wars movie.

Despite the troubled production, the movie does boast an impressive cast that also includes Donald Glover, Thandie Newton and Michael Kenneth Williams. For those counting at home, that’s Childish Gambino, Maeve from Westworld and Omar from The Wire. Fire casting.

According to The Republic, a terror attack on Amarnath Yatris has left at least two dead and nine injured in Anantnag.

What Happened?

Reports are coming in on social media that a terrorist attack on Amarnath Yatris has left at least two dead and four injured. According to reports, police were escorting a group of pilgrims when terrorists opened fire on them.

The attack took place in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday. The terrorists also attacked a police party in Bantigoo area, according to reports.

The attack came hours after the Jammu and Kashmir Police claimed to have busted a Lashkar-e-Taiba module with the arrests of two persons, including Sandeep Kumar Sharma alias Adil, a resident of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.

National Conference leader Omar Abdullah reacted to the attack saying: “the attack cannot be condemned strongly enough.” Omar wrote on Twitter, “Very sad news. The attack cannot be condemned strongly enough. My sympathies to the families & prayers for the injured.”

No other details were immediately available.

Amarnath cave is a Hindu shrine located in Jammu and Kashmir, India. The cave is situated at an altitude of 3,888 m, about 141 km from Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir and reached through Pahalgam town. The shrine forms an important part of Hinduism, and is considered to be one of the holiest shrines in Hinduism.^[3] The cave is surrounded by snowy mountains. The cave itself is covered with snow most of the year except for a short period of time in summer when it is open for pilgrims. Thousands of Hindu devotees make an annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave on challenging mountainous terrain to see an ice stalagmite formed inside the cave.

Despite losing in two sets to French Open Champion Jelena Ostapenko, Camila Giorgi has been one of the early stars of this year’s Wimbledon, for both good reasons and bad.

Camila Giorgi is q 29-year-old Italian professional tennis player. She is right-handed and plays with a two-handed backhand. Born in Macerata, Italy to an Argentinian father and an Italian mother, Giorgi started playing tennis at the age of five at a local club. After playing at junior level, she made her senior international tournament debut in 2006 at the International Tennis Federation circuit.

After winning her first title at the ITF tour in 2009, Giorgi made her WTA tour main draw debut at the 2011 Wimbledon Championships. Giorgi is known for her aggressive style of game and her powerful flat groundstrokes, and is considered to be one of the hardest hitters of the ball on the tour.

Her biggest professional wins have come at the 2013 US Open, 2014 BNP Paribas Open, and 2014 Aegon International, defeating former world no. 1 players Caroline Wozniacki, Maria Sharapova, and Victoria Azarenka, respectively.

Harlem Nights and Roots star Ji-Tu Cumbuka has passed away. He was 77-years-old.

Ji-Tu Cumbuka Cause of Death

The actor passed away last Tuesday (July 4) surrounded by friends and family in Atlanta, Georgia. His family announced his passing in an emotional social media post on Sunday from his niece Amber Holifield.

“In my Uncle Ji-Tu’s final days until his final moments he was surrounded with love and support!” said Holifield in her post (below). “It’s was a blessing for all of us to be together in his final hour, and not to mention we pretty much stayed at the hospital with him, and boy did he enjoy our company. The nurses, maybe a different story… lol. He stayed strong and just as sweet as he wanted to be the entire time and that I will never forget that!!”

One notable tribute to the late actor came from LeVar Burton, who played Kunta Kinte in Roots, the iconic 1977 Emmy Award-winning miniseries.

Cumbuka, who released an autobiography in 2011 titled A Giant to Remember: The Black Actor in Hollywood, enjoyed a steady career as a veteran film and TV actor. He was also known for playing Hawk on 1977’s Young Dan’l Boone show and then Torque in the NBC spy series A Man Called Sloane. Other TV credits include Ironside, Sanford and Son, Knight Rider, The Dukes of Hazzard, The A-Team, St. Elsewhere, The Six Million Dollar Man, Hunter, Matlock, Knots Landing, Walker Texas Ranger, and CSI.

He also played the “Toothless Gambler” in the 1989 Eddie Murphy comedy Harlem Nights.

Cumbuka, whose given name means “giant to remember” in Swahili, spent the last several years of his life founding the Help Somebody Foundation Ministries, a non-profit organization that helps people battle addiction and face social challenges to once again become part of the community as productive citizens.

One of the most prolific power hitters in Major League Baseball, Giancarlo Stanton is a rare spectacle in a game where skill sets such as finesse at the plate and defense are much more coveted attributes. While Stanton may not be a flashy defender (-0.5 defensive WAR) or a patient hitter (strikeout rate of 23.8%), his production at the plate is usually not inhibited because of these shortcomings. With the Home Derby right around the corner, Stanton will look to defend his title from last year while continuing to dazzle fans with his insane abilities as a power hitter. Given Stanton’s immense success as a professional athlete, the intriguing inquiry remains of how much is the gargantuan slugger actually worth?

2010-2014

Two months into the 2010 regular season, the Florida Marlins (now the Miami Marlins) decided it was time to call up their coveted  prospect from the minor leagues. At 20 years of age, Stanton proved to be an exciting slugger that made the most of his opportunities at the plate. Among the many accolades Stanton garnered during his rookie season, the most impressive was becoming one of just four players in the last 25 years to hit a grand slam before his 21st birthday. Throughout the rest of the year, Stanton never relented in terms of his power at the plate (.509 slugging percentage and 22 home runs) as his average home run hitting distance was 399.6 feet.

Despite having to battle through leg and eye injuries during the course of the 2011 regular season, Stanton still managed to out due himself statistically from the previous season. Aside from setting new career highs in home runs (34) and RBI’s (87), his average home run distance improved immensely as he averaged 416.6 feet per long ball with the ball traveling off the bat at 107.4 MPH. By the end of the season, Stanton had hit 56 career home runs before his 22nd birthday, which matched Alex Rodriguez and was only behind Ken Griffey, Jr. among players over the last 40 years.

Healthy and ready to compete at a high level, Stanton made 2012 a year to remember. While Stanton elevated his slugging percentage to an unthinkable level (.608, a career high), his abilities as a all-round hitter improved dramatically (.290 batting average compared to .262 from the previous season). Although Stanton was selected to participate in the 2012 All-Star Game and the Home Run Derby, he had to miss both events due to knee surgery. However, just over a month later, Stanton slammed a 494-foot home run at Coors Field, the longest in the majors since 2009.

While 2013 was not a terrible year for Stanton, it was a bit underwhelming compared to what he did last year statistically speaking. A hamstring injury forced Stanton to miss significant time on the field and even when he was present his abilities at the plate were noticeably diminished. Stanton set career lows in batting average (.249) and slugging percentage (.480) while hitting just 24 home runs. However, Stanton was able to set a impressive milestone when he hit his 100th home run on June 17th to become the 9th fastest player to reach 100 career home runs.

Despite a disappointing year in 2013, Stanton remained tenacious and came into the 2014 season with rejuvenated confidence. Although Stanton was hit in the face by a pitch during the last month of the season and did not come back for the remainder of the year, his overall numbers were back to being supremely impressive. He hit a career high in home runs (37) on the year while setting new career marks in RBI’s (105) and on base percentage (.395). He finished second in the MVP voting to Clayton Kershaw and was ultimately rewarded with a 13-year, $325 million dollar extension, the most lucrative contract in sports history.

He reportedly earned $6.5 million in 2014.

2015-Present

While Stanton had one of his strongest first-half performances of his career in 2015 (27 home runs in just 74 games along with a slugging percentage of .606), he broke the hamate bone in his left on June 26th and was forced to miss the rest of the season. Still, Staton earned his third All-Star selection and was one of the must see players on any team when he stepped up to the plate.

2016 was a down year for Stanton in terms of batting average (career low .240) and slugging percentage (.489, which is low by his standards). Nevertheless, Stanton was selected to participate in the 2016 Home Run Derby where he won the title and hit 61 total home runs (set a record for most home runs hit in a single derby).

Thus far in 2017, Stanton looks to be back on track in terms of being more efficient at the plate (.277 batting average) while continuing to do what he does best: hitting home runs that go incredible distances (26 home runs in 86 games to go along with a slugging percentage of .572). Along with being selected to participate in his fourth All-Star game, Stanton will defend his Home Run Derby title this year in what should be one of the more exciting displays of sheer power this year.

Although Staton may not be the most coveted player in terms of defensive and finesse hitting metrics, his unwavering power and bat speed is a sight to behold. While home runs are being hit at an incredible rate this year, this is due largely in part to pitchers throwing harder, which results in subsequent hits going farther with less power from the batters. What Stanton does is simply a lost art that only rookie Aaron Judge can replicate on a regular basis. With the lights shinning especially bright during this years Home Run Derby, it will be intriguing to see if the wunderkind or the veteran slugger will be crowned the home run king during the All-Star break.

He reportedly earned $14.5 million in 2017.

LeBlanc admits that while her kids are excited to join sometimes, other times they need a little persuasion.

“Most of the time they are happy to work out, but sometimes it takes a little coaxing.”

Well, folks, it’s here — Game Of Thrones week.

We are officially less than one week away from the premiere of Thrones’ seventh season, and because of that, hype is at an all-time high. So I decided to go with some Christmas-In-July vibes by creating what I call the ‘7 Days Of Thrones’. Every day, from now until Sunday, COED will take a look at some of the biggest questions heading into Thrones’ seventh season, and how we expect those questions to be answered.

For our first article in the ‘7 Days Of Thrones’, I wanted to take a stab at figuring out why the hell Beric Dondarrion, Tormund, & our beloved Jon Snow are north of The Wall, but more importantly, if any of them are going to make it back alive.

Potential spoilers below.

Why is Jon Snow north of The Wall?

Well, first, how do we know that The King In The North is in fact north of The Wall, at all? Simple, the trailer tells us:

At the 1:20 mark in the super dank fire above you, you see Jon Snow, Beric Dondarrion, and what appears to be a member of the Brotherhood Without Banners (based on his leather dunce cap looking thing) fighting off a horde of wights.

But there’s no way Snow went north of The Wall with just two other people backing him up, right? Of course not. As you can see above & below, Beric and his flaming sword are clearly there, looking as badass as ever:

Tormund, Jon’s right-hand man, is also there, looking as menacing as ever:

So, we have Jon Snow, Tormund, Beric, and a random member of the Brotherhood Without Banners. As we know (or once knew and have since forgotten) the Brotherhood was formed after Ned Stark’s execution and remain loyal to the Stark colors. We also know that the last time we saw Sandor Clegane, The Hound, he had just linked up with the Brotherhood.

Given the fact that Beric is accompanying Jon, one has to assume that not only is Thoros Of Myr (the guy who revives Beric) along for the ride but so is both the Hound and more members of the Brotherhood. Roll all of these facts into one and you have a squad of Jon Snow, Tormund, Beric, Thoros, The Hound, and various members of the Brotherhood Without Banners traveling north of The Wall with Jon.

So, now that we’ve figured out whose going, it’s time to figure out why they’re going.

Well, what could be gained from going North of the Wall? Recruiting wildlings? Nope — the only wildlings left either made it south of the wall or died at Hardhome in Season 5. Could it be to obtain dragon glass? Again, not likely. A mission with that level of danger just to secure a couple of shards of glass is far too risky for Jon Snow. Now, while Jon has never been the most pragmatic leader, he also isn’t stupid, and this just isn’t a risk he would take.

All of this leads me to believe that Jon Snow & Co are going north not for something, but for someone. Remember, while the threat of the White Walkers is ever present for Northerners, many people in the South, including one Daenerys Targaryen, have yet to receive but a word of their impending arrival. Long story short, I think that after his meeting with Daenerys (and potentially other Southerners), Jon will be required to go north to capture a wight in order to prove their existence to ‘rally the troops.’

And trust me when I say this, this is all very concerning for a multitude of reasons, most notably what the trailer shows us.

As I’ve screengrabbed above, we see Jon Snow & his goon squad battling a massive army of wights. A shitty situation indeed. And then, at the end of the trailer comes Sansa’s voiceover and two distinct images. First, Sansa’s voiceover:

“When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives.”

The average fan will be quick to decree that this means Jon Snow will have to die in order to protect the rest of the Stark children. However, luckily for you, I am not the average fan, and I am here to tell you that is not the case. While that may prove to be true one day, that is not what the trailer is specifically alluding to here.

What the trailer is alluding to, unfortunately, is that everyone who travels north of the wall –Tormund, The Hound, Beric, Thoros, all of them– will not be making it back.

As Sansa begins her voiceover, the trailer shows a clearly injured person fleeing on a horse north of the Wall. Given the individual’s clothes, as well as the context of Sansa’s quote, it’s easy to deduce that this is Jon Snow fleeing a devastating battle with the White Walkers:

Which is followed by a shot of a character that is DEFINITELY Jon Snow, starring the White Walker army right in the grill … by himself.

So where does this leave us? This leaves us facing the very grim possibility that everyone who heads north of the Wall with Jon — Tormund, Beric, Thoros, the Hound, and a gang of other loveable characters — all die for the greater good of the Realm. An episode with this sort of magnitude couldn’t possibly air until later in the season, so look for this battle to take place in season seven’s penultimate episode (that’s my best guess, at least.)

Brutal, right? Well, get used to it, because this season is going to be seven consecutive weeks of heartbreak and agony with only minimal victories in between.  As I’ve long said, I don’t see this show ending with anything else but the end of the world, and this season begins the march towards that inevitability.

The Mexico Gold Cup is the main soccer tourney for professional teams under the governance of CONCACAF. This tournament crowns the top team in the regions of North America, Central America, and the Caribbeans.

The Gold Cup occurs every two years and started in 1991. Mexico holds the record for most titles (7) and is the current champion.

This year, USA and Mexico are the two powerhouses expected to face each other in the finals. Mexico clinched the title in 2015—their seventh overall—with a win over Jamaica in the final and are confident they will retain their crown.

However, with a new manager at the helm in Bruce Arena and home fans backing the team at every stadium, the U.S. men’s national team are a threat.

Regardless of the predictions, amazing events occur in the world of sports. Anything can occur with the amount of talent, luck, and energy embodied within each diverse soccer team.

So as we all (unfortunately) found out last week, LaVar Ball and his family are getting their own reality television show that will air on Facebook later this year. *rolls eyes

Per Deadline.com:

The second project is a yet-to-be-titled docuseries about the Ball family, whose sons Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo have taken the basketball world by storm. Freshman UCLA star Lonzo Ball was chosen by the Los Angeles Lakers as their No. 2 pick in the NBA draft last month. LiAngelo and LaMelo are standouts at Chino Hills High School.”

This is terrible for several reasons, but the most obvious is that it gives LaVar yet another platform with which to spout his B.S. Look, I respect the guy’s hustle and he clearly loves his children even if he’s exploiting them to no end. I don’t think he’s a terrible human being, but I do think his schtick grows thin pretty quickly. I also think he’s not making life any easier for son Lonzo, who is coming into the league with the Los Angeles Lakers with an enormous target on his back thanks to his pops.

With the reality series announcement and LaVars, err, unique personality, fans have been quick to compare the Balls to the Kardashians (lol). Apparently, LaVar does not like this comparison.

Per TMZ:

“I ain’t no Kardashian, I ain’t no Kris Jenner,” he told TMZ. “We the Balls. Welcome to the Ball era.”

“I don’t like them; I don’t dislike them,” “The Kardashians are the Kardashians. We’re separate. We’re ballplayers. We’re ballplayers. I ain’t following nothing or nobody.”

Hey LaVar, what’s all this “we” talk? Your sons are ballplayers, not you. You’re an overbearing loud mouth. Sure, if you get that $1 billion sneaker deal you’ve been yapping about, you can shove this in my face. But until then, you’re just the NBA’s version of the Kardashians.

Georgina Rodriguez, 23, is rumored to be pregnant with Cristiano Ronaldo’s child as the couple hang out on a yacht in Ibiza this past weekend.

According to The Sun, Rodriguez and Ronaldo are expecting a baby girl due in October. Mazel tov!

A source told a Portuguese newspaper: “They are very happy with the arrival of the baby. Everyone adores Georgina and are satisfied with this relationship.” The two are said to have met in the VIP section of a recent Dolce & Gabbana party. It is rumored that the two dated in secret for a few months before going public with their relationship by enjoying an outing at Disneyland Paris in November.

Clearly, Ronaldo is still in touch with his inner kid. Respect.

The couple then appeared publicly together at the FIFA Football Awards in Zurich at the beginning of this year. Unfortunately, they’ve yet to actually comment on their relationship.

Podcasts have skyrocketed in popularity lately. You can find something to listen to in any genre, but the comedy world is thriving in the medium right now. If you’re curious as to why podcasts have taken off, business insider had this to say when evaluating the new trend:

Almost 20% of U.S. adults ages 18 to 49 listen to podcasts at least once a month, according to a new report from comScore and audio network Wondery. This data tracks with an earlier report from Edison Research, which discovered that 21% of U.S. adults listened to a podcast in the last month, up from 17% in 2015.

The increase in digital media consumption on mobile, as well as the increasing number of podcasts available, has made it far more attractive to both listeners and advertisers. Serial became a huge part of mainstream culture at the end of 2014, as the podcast had 75 million episode downloads after the first season debuted.

That popularity has led to the appearance of podcasts in the greater digital media ecosystem, as many large digital publishers have released their own podcasts in the last two years.

Here are the best comedy podcasts of 2017.

Nerdist Podcast

Chris Hardwick just doesn’t stop working. He’s a man of the people and is rumored, by me, to be running for the 2020 presidency– #Hardwick2020 (he need not a VP). Chris lives for the art of comedy as has become apparent by putting out 870+ Nerdist podcasts, hosting Talking Dead (an hourly aftershow on AMC affiliated with the network’s zombie drama series The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead), as well as “Talking with Chris Hardwick”, a show in which Hardwick interviews prominent pop culture figures. Other shows include @midnight with Chris Hardwick, a nightly comedy-game show series on Comedy Central, and The Wall, a “plinko” inspired gameshow on NBC.

The show is said to be made by/for nerds, but even if you don’t fit into that demographic I promise you Hardwick has a kindred sensibility about him that is entertaining to all. He mostly has comedians, filmmakers and writers on his show. For instance, check out Will Sasso’s take on compensating for small penises.

WTF with Marc Maron

In September 2009, WTF aired following the cancellation of Maron’s Air America terrestrial radio program Breakroom Live with Maron & Seder. Maron retained his Air America building keycard and used their studios to record the first several episodes of WTF without permission. Real G’s move in silence like lasagna.

A lot of comedy is rooted in tragedy, and tragic thought for that matter. What a comedian does is chisel away at the block of marble that is a sometimes somber reality, and make it look pretty and presentable for the audience. It makes everything comical and comfortable for the time being, and life goes on. This is the dark side of comedy that isn’t thought about often, but it’s there.

This podcast hosts a majority of the world’s most renowned comedians, as do many others. What makes it different, and what I love about Marc Maron is his instantaneously sparked moments of sheer intensity and passion that drive someone to rant on something beyond the confines of what rappers got beef with whomever, what housewife of county “x” is bangin’ the househusband of county “y”, and so on. The clip included above is a testament to the mind of Marc Maron. If any of what he says resonates with you, definitely give WTF with Marc Maron a listen.

Harmontown

It is hosted by writer Dan Harmon, best known as the creator of the sitcom Community and the critically-acclaimed show everyone is teething for the return of, Rick and Morty. Harmontown began as a monthly live comedy show in Los Angeles, California at the NerdMelt Showroom on May 23, 2011, but the show became weekly after Harmon was fired from Community. Since the summer of 2012, each episode of Harmontown has been recorded and released as a podcast by Feral Audio.

Much like the rest of Dan Harmon’s work, he makes his brilliant conceptualizations of theoretical phenomena funny and dumbed-down for the public. For example, check out some of the best scenes from Rick and Morty to pick up what I’m putting down, broh.

The original premise of Harmontown began with Harmon’s and Davis’s attempts to discuss how to successfully eliminate the flaws of society and create a utopia (which they claimed could be addressed with the creation of a lunar colony) in front of a live audience. The show evolved into what Harmon and Davis call “live therapy sessions” for Harmon, as he discussed with Davis a variety of topics, from anecdotes about his family and work to commentaries on movies, social issues, and scandals.

The Andy Daly Podcast Pilot Project

Earwolf producer Matt Gourley (Superego) and Andy Daly ( Comedy Central series Review) have spent many months sorting through podcast pilots to curate this collection of their efforts.

Together they’ll bring you podcast pilots submitted by a beloved cowboy poet, a theatrical director who specializes in girls, a satanist game show host, a water skiing legend and many more. All of these would-be podcasters have, oddly enough, taken advantage of the open door policy on Comedy Bang Bang, but there is so much more to discover about each and every one of them…

How Did This Get Made

Brought to you by some members of the cast of The League, this is a podcast on the Earwolf network. It is hosted by Paul Scheer, June Diane Raphael and Jason Mantzoukas. Every show has a different guest and features the deconstruction and mockery of bad films.

After discussing the film, Paul Scheer will read what they refer to as “second opinions” in the form of five-star reviews posted online by Amazon.com users.The show is released every two weeks.

Supposedly, the podcast was started when the hosts were talking about how bad Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps was over drinks and after seeing Old Dogs in the theater.

Watching these clips of Joey Diaz rants brought me to The Joe Rogan Experience, and I’m happy it did. The videos above are a polarizing representation of what The Joe Rogan Experience truly is. It has the range of talks with Joey Diaz about peeing on fetishists, all the way to talks with Neil DeGrasse Tyson about quantifying infinities, and everything in between.

It is a free audio and video talk podcast hosted by American comedian, actor, sports commentator, and television host Joe Rogan.

The podcast was launched by Rogan and his friend Brian Redbanon December 24, 2009. The experience has almost one thousand shows and has become one of the United States’ most popular podcasts.

There is a man out there living out your dreams. You want to go to as many major sporting events as possible. But between work and family and the cost of attendance, it has become harder and harder to make it to games. Do not worry. Those seats that you always wanted will be occupied. Somebody will always be there for those historic moments. And that man will be wearing an orange Miami Marlins Jersey.

This mystery superfan, with apparently endless amounts of money and free time, brings some questions to the forefront. Why is there a Marlins fan at the NBA finals? How did he get those tickets for this entire series? Does he have a job? How does he take such good selfies? Does he know that girl who just flashed the camera? Who is a person crazy enough to be a Marlins’ fan? Well, that one Marlins’ fan has made quite a name for himself, even if that name is simply “Marlins Man.”

Who Is Marlins Man?

According to his website (yes he has a website), Marlins Man real name is Laurence Leavy and he a lawyer from Miami. He owns a few thoroughbred racing stables, went to Camp Pinewood, and loves to wear visors. Some sources report that Leavy says he travels more than 300 days a year and that he can afford to attend games because he has no wife or children. He claims to have attended 27 Super Bowls, 89 World Series Games, 37 NCAA Championship Games, 70 NBA Finals games and countless other sporting events.

As he attends these sporting events, Marlins Man tries to spread his message of “pay it forward.” His website home page feature quotes about making a difference in other people’s lives. He has auctioned off some of his jerseys to give the proceeds to charity. He buys up large groups of tickets and gives them out to people outside of the stadium, and he even gave $5,000 to two families of firefighters in Kansas City.

Why Is He Famous?

Marlins Man has been attending sporting events his entire life, but it was not until 2012 that he first became noticed on television. The story goes that he was at a Miami Heat playoff game and the white shirt on his seat had been taken. The Heat won the game, and his Marlins Jersey became a good luck charm. He also says he wears the orange jersey because he wants his friends to see him on tv.

While a keen eye may have noticed him at NBA playoff games, World Series games and other events in the coming years, his real rise to fame occurred in 2014. Marlins Man was attending aRoyal’s game in Kansas City during the World Series. Since he was sitting behind home plate, everybody on TV saw his jersey sticking out. The Royal’s were not happy about this and offered him a suite just to get him away from the camera. Marlins Man declined, and continued to sit right in the view of the camera.

Since his act of defiance and continued public appearances behind home-plate or courtside, Marlins Man has developed quite the following. He has over 79,000 followers on his Twitter and another 35,000 on Instagram. He was recently in the news because he has grown quite fond of bringing guests to the games with him.

Marlins Man has started bringing groups of women with him as guests to his games. The women, the so-called Marlins Man Mermaids, have gotten some heat for their efforts to distract opposing players. The Marlins were not happy when one of the women made inappropriate gestures during a telecast and Marlins Man was able to get her to stop. Still, his efforts to “try bringing sexy back to the MLB,” have not gone unnoticed and he keeps finding mermaids to accompany him to the games.

Where Did You See Him?

Does that orange hue on his jersey look oddly familiar? Do you think you’ve seen Marlins Man on TV before? Well odds are, you probably have.

After the all-star game, where to find Marlins Man is anybody’s guess. He will likely attend many baseball games throughout the summer and the World Series when that rolls around. You may not know where he will pop up, but always be on the lookout for some orange whenever you’re watching on TV. You are bound to see him in those seats you always wanted.

This is a cautionary tale to any bro who has a less than attractive girl crushing on you. The lesson is don’t be such a dick because one day that ugly duckling could blossom into a beautiful swan that will call you “a f**k boy” to your face.

Her name is Iman Othman. Her Facebook pages says she listens to psychedelic rock band MGMT. She grew up in Los Angeles, California. And without question, she’s grown into one bad mama in her adult years.

The ultra-hot Ms. Othman starred in a now-viral video, in which she gets revenge on an old high school crush/bully. This guy was a real jerk to this Lebanese bombshell during a time when she looked at least one hundred times different. She claims he use to call her “fat, pimple face,” and “Taliban.”

But when Iman got hot as hell, she started getting poked on Facebook by this old school crush/bully/f**k boy. His name is Frank, and let’s just say, he was a real prick to Ms. Othman back when she liked him. So, she invited him to meet up by the beach. She wanted to show off her hot body to a man who passed up on “all this” in middle school. She also wanted to tell him off and throw water in his face. Enjoy.

In all fairness, she should really get beyond this f**k boy and stop dwelling on the negatives in life. Fifteen years is definitely a long ass time to hold a grudge; she should move on and stop obsessing over some jerk. But then again, I am eternally grateful for her revenge plot. Why? It’s because if she didn’t get back at her bully, then the world would never have been treated to this super fine viral video.

Leonardo DiCaprio is The Man. Yeah, he’s filthy rich, world famous and uber talented. But that’s not why he’s The Man. Well, it is, but it’s not why I’m calling him The Man right now. No, Leo is The Man because he’s reached a level of unattainable desirability that he doesn’t even have to be in shape to bag those 25-year-old models he’s so fond of.

It’s well documented that Leo helped to popularize the “Dad Bod” two years ago when the paparazzi snapped some unflattering pictures of him on a beach with some hotties. But, this being Leo and all, no one criticized his growing belly and shaggy beard. We found it endearing and charming! Hey look, Leo is a normal dude like us! These days, he’s still in full Dad Bod mode and apparently even brags about it.

A source told Page Six that the Academy Award winner was “overheard boasting about his workout habits – or lack thereof – at a pre-Fourth of July bash in Malibu, California.”

“It was a party at this private estate. He was drinking beer and bragging to these models about how he doesn’t work out,” the source said. “The girls were like, ‘Does he think that’s attractive? It’s not like he’s in ‘Titanic’ shape anymore,'” the source told the outlet.

This isn’t the first time a few ladies have spoken out against the King of the World. Swimsuit model Jaimie Sullivan told the National Enquirer, “Leonardo DiCaprio is always cheesy. He’s always at the club. You are like, ‘Aren’t you a little too old to be here when you have gone through most of the girls already?

“He’s not my type. I like tall guys. I have to be physically attracted to the guy. He’s got a dad bod. He’s got some cushion for the pushin.”

And yet, he’s still crushing the game. Every other weekend he’s snapped with a new bombshell, dad bod be damned! Say what you want, but Leo has redefined the game with his bold trailblazing. God bless you, sir.
