Let’s restrain from the jokes that surround the name of this pay-per-view and focus more on the quality of matches, because I see quality. There’s a lot of implications on what direction the WWE’s going to take their brand, are they going to continue to excuse the absence of their world champion or give their freshest face their deserved title push. That said, Brock Lesnar continues to establish himself as the biggest name in the WWE and even pulls through when he’s against a worthy opponent and Samoa Joe is most definitely worthy.

We’ll see the budding relationship between Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks as their feud hits their first stride in their feud. The Hardy Boyz cash in their rematch clause and challenge for the Raw Tag Titles against Sheamus and Cesaro in an iron man match. We also have the continuing Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns in an ambulance match in reference to the time Braun Strowman got away with destroying city property.

Let’s break this card down and see where WWE wants to take us going forward.

Sheamus & Cesaro vs The Hardy Boyz

The feud between these two clubs has been consistent with each team getting an even amount of offense and a variety of matches to keep things fresh. An iron man match is a fitting conclusion to any feud and a guaranteed 30 more minutes to this feud is definitely going to be welcomed.

I really see the Hardy Boyz taking back the titles because the RAW tag division is vacant of anyone really established to make a feud with the Hardy Boyz convincing without the titles in the picture. Unless they want to break the Hardys up which is a bad idea considering the world title picture is already stuffed and the tag division needs some star power. Don’t know what comes of Sheamus and Cesaro after this but they always have a home in the mid card.

Enzo Amore vs Big Cass

Exhibit A on why the RAW Tag Division is so limited right now was the breakup between Enzo and Big Cass. Although if there was any good to come out of this it’d be increasing Enzo’s range which has been embraced by the crowd. This split might be good for them in the long run and it’s not like the WWE can’t ever have them reconvene whenever they feel like it.

Little concerned about Big Cass, he might end up being another big body that Vince McMahon likes to keep pictures of across his ceiling. It all comes down to booking him right and the first right move to make to establish Big Cass is to have him get disqualified for over decimating Enzo so these two can show more of their potential.
Prediction: Enzo Amore wins via disqualification

Seth Rollins vs Bray Wyatt

It’s important that you always keep busy but it’s not ideal. That’s how you would go about describing this match, keeping busy. Bray Wyatt, who’s already been having attachment issues with the world title picture is back to meaningless feuds this time featuring Seth Rollins. It’s going to be nice to see these work in the ring together, but it’d be nice if there was a little more substance than “We were in the same match a month ago.”

Maybe Rollins and Wyatt will have the freedom in the ring to give us something compelling because the creative team hasn’t bothered. Hopefully the writers are as tired of Wyatt scoring meaningless PPV victories as we are and will let Rollins score one here so they can find something else to do during Summerslam unless they really want to give us something to look forward to with this feud which they don’t seem animate about doing.

Intercontinental Championship: The Miz vs Dean Ambrose

The Miz can hold the Intercontinental Championship for the rest of his career and there wouldn’t be a single complaint to be made by anyone. Holding it gives him all the validation in the world for his character and he seems lost in the shuffle if he isn’t holding a title. He’ll never get close to a world title with all the star power on RAW which is unfortunate because he brings a lot to whatever title he’s holding.

Ambrose hasn’t been able to do anything when he’s been given gold on any level and it was confirmed with his last world title run when he didn’t do anything with it and was immediately shown up by AJ Styles subsequent run with it. Hard to tell if it was the fault of Ambrose not being a bankable champion or if it was bad booking, but it’s been hovering over Ambrose since.

This feuds been an open bag of potato chips, they both need something new before it starts hurting both of them.
Prediction: The Miz retains the Intercontinental Championship

RAW Woman’s Championship: Alexa Bliss vs Sasha Banks

Alexa Bliss has had no problem carrying over her success from the Blue Brand as shown from her interactions with Sasha Banks. The woman’s division has a feud that can carry it for a few months as Bayley tries to find her footing on the roster, most likely into Hell in a Cell.

If this feuds going to last that long, I expect Banks to keep the title warm for Bliss during this summer for when they have their rematch at Summerslam. These two are going to give us a nice series of matches in the coming months and we should all be excited for it. Hopefully they don’t rush anything.

Ambulance Match: Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman

Strowman has a lot to gain in this match, beating Reigns really boosts his credibility and won’t hurt Reigns in the slightest. Nothing makes more sense than Strowman winning, that’s what’s worrying. Although to WWE’s credit, they’ve pulled their punches when it comes to Reigns recently putting him on a more leveled playing field than what was being pushed earlier in his singles career.

If the rules of momentum apply, Reigns should lose this bout after  he speared Strowman off the goddamn stage. But it’s guaranteed whoever wins this match most likely goes into Summerslam to fight for the title so if Reigns needs to win so we can finally get this Lesnar vs Reigns rematch out the way than please pull the band-aid off. I think Strowman’s momentum could live on if he lost to Reigns here and beat Reigns once he takes the title off Lesnar if WWE really wanted to do Reigns vs Lesnar at Summerslam. But then we go back to the rules of momentum and Storwman now has to win this match.
Prediction: Strowman beats Reigns

WWE Universal Championship: Brock Lesnar vs Samoa Joe

Are they really going to run with these sporadic appearances from Lesnar until Wrestlemania? With the way ratings have been without the champion it doesn’t help but feel like filler. Now that Lesnar’s been on television again, the title picture has been as exciting as it’s ever been before in its short life span especially with how well booked this feud has been. But we know it won’t last, we know Lesnar will go back into seclusion post Summerslam with or without the title.

Samoa Joe would probably win this if it was anybody else holding it due to how hot he is right now, but he’s going to have to wait a little while longer before he gets his legacy run with the title. Also Summerslam needs a big name attached to its main event and there’s no bigger name on the roster than Brock Lesnar at this moment. I expect these two to put on a strong showing and have moments that make you think Samoa Joe can actually pull it off, but Lesnar will be going into one of the WWE’s big four events as the champion.

For 11 years, Ray “Stallion83” Cox has sit atop the Iron Throne of gaming. As Eurogamer puts it, Cox has held the world record Gamerscore “since Achievement-hunting first became a thing” and he was the first person on planet Earth to pass every major Gamerscore milestone, including the first person to pass 1m Gamerscore in 2014.

I’m not even a gamer – the last time I picked up the sticks I was still a teenager – and even I find that damn impressive.

Sadly, it turns out Stallion83 is just a mere mortal who enjoys normal everyday things like getting married and going on a honeymoon. This, as it turns out, would be his downfall.

His longtime arch enemy Stephen “smrnov” Rowe seized the opportunity to surpass Cox’s score by the slimmest of margins – 5,600 points (smrnov has 1,591,450 to Stallion83’s 1,585,854).

But, to Cox’s credit, he responded to the L like Jon Snow trading verbal barbs with Ramsay Bolton.

Heathrow has come under lockdown again after police evacuated staff and passengers from Terminal Four this afternoon. The evacuation and subsequent lockdown was reportedly prompted by a fire alarm.

UPDATE: Heathrow Airport Terminal Four has reopened after fire alert.

What Happened?

Passengers were evacuated from Terminal Four following a fire alarm. Footage from the scene shows mass confusion as passengers attempted to leave the terminal but staff were unable to provide them with details or updates.

Airport staff are currently investigating “as a matter of urgency” as the alarm was set off shortly before 1:30 P.M. local time on Thursday.

Freelance journalist Harriet Constable described the scene as “chaos” in a number of Tweets.

Hey kids, here’s a good lesson for today: 25-year-old Bridget Malcolm is one of the rising stars in the modeling world, but she wasn’t always so confident as she struggled with low self-esteem as a teenager. The Australian bombshell recently wrote a very candid blog post detailing her tumultuous early years before she became a famous Victoria’s Secret model. Honestly, it’s pretty refreshing and encouraging to read something like this.

Malcolm was first scouted for the modeling world as a shy and slightly awkward 14-year-old, but was told to wait a year until she began working professionally.

“We had to wait for my self-cut hair to grow out, and for my braces to come off,” she wrote.

At first, Malcolm felt like an outsider in the modeling world when she began working with designers and magazines.

“I have memories of sitting in my first meeting with my agency, bright red, feeling terrified that someone would talk to me,” she wrote. “The hardest part for me was the feeling that everyone else was in on something that I had no idea about. I couldn’t understand why I was modelling – everyone else around me seemed so much cooler and more confident.”

It took years for Malcolm to overcome her own anxieties and now she’s been walking for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show since 2015. Aside from modeling, she now also works as an ambassador for David Jones and has been featured in Playboy, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

Warner Bros

Thanks to the success of Wonder Woman, Warner Bros.’ DC Extended Universe has managed a bit of much-needed breathing room before November’s Justice League drops. But as the Internet knows all too well, there’s no wrath like a fanboy scorned. If Justice League takes after the DCEU’s disappointing early offerings than there might be some trouble. Fortunately for the studio, director Matt Reeves is bat-grappling to the rescue fresh off the immense buzz for his upcoming blockbuster War for the Planet of the Apes. Reeves will direct Ben Affleck in The Batman…and potentially its two sequels.

Reeves said in a recent interview that he has been toying with ideas for a new Batman trilogy set within the DCEU. Previously, just one solo Batman movie had been mentioned in any official capacity. Affleck has also previously been rumored to want out after The Batman given all of the behind the scenes dysfunction at the studio. Could he be persuaded to stick around if he likes what he hears?

None of this is a guarantee as Reeves was speaking about his vision and hope for the series rather than a studio-mandated blueprint. As has been reported, WB nabbed Reeves after Affleck himself stepped down from the director’s chair. During the current press tour for War of the Planet of the Apes, Reeves has consistently noted similarities between Bruce Wayne and ape leader Caesar and it does make sense. The Apes series has been praised for infusing genuine thought and authenticity to the summer blockbuster genre as did Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy.

In an interview with Fandango, Reeves discussed what lessons he’s learned from Apes that apply to Batman:

“And when [screenwriter] Mark [Bomback] and I began [Dawn of the Planet of the Apes], we knew what our goals were, but we didn’t know how we were gonna get there, and I would say that that more relates to the way that I see a Batman story, is a kind of ambition for a series of stories, but really the most important thing is gonna be to tell a vital first story.”

Reeves is no dummy; he knows what fans have been clamoring for over the years. He scored major brownie points with Batman die-hards recently when he said he’ll be taking an Alfred Hitchcock-like approach to the “vital first story” of The Batman, including a noir detective feel. Should he deliver a crowd-pleasing and money-making first effort, there’s no doubt Warner Bros. would push he and Affleck for more.

Reeves continued:

“I have ideas about an arc, but really, the important thing is just to start … you have to start with one.  You know, you have to start with a story that begins something.”

The Batman doesn’t have an official release date yet, but it is rumored to be sometime in 2019.

Kim Mellibovsky has become a social media star despite being a full-time Israeli soldier. But, taking one quick look at her pictures, it’s easy to see how she’s amassed such an enormous following.

Military service is a requirement for the majority of Jewish Israelis. Men must serve two years and eight months while women must serve two years. I happen to know a handful of Israelis personally and they are all beautiful people. Seriously, they are all good looking, it’s crazy. Perhaps America really should cut down on the fast food. No joke: Israelis eat olives and corn on their pizza, not sausage/bacon/ham/chicken/pepperoni and other fatty ish. When I told one Israeli friend about our pizza toppings, she was literally astonished and mildly disgusted. Ugh, I feel fat. Where’s the nearest treadmill?

The Israeli military is believed to include more than 120,000 soldiers in mandatory service, though this is just an estimation as the IDF does not provide such figures. All I know is that I really want to move to Israel right now.

Washington D.C. and 18 other states are suing Education Secretary Betsy DeVos and the Education Department after DeVos’ choice to undo rules designed to aid students who have been defrauded by their colleges.

What Happened?

The Democratic state attorney generals allege that the Education Department is breaking the law by rolling back the Obama administration regulation, known as the “borrower defense” rule. This rule structures a process that helps students have their federal loans forgiven if they were defrauded by their schools.

Once the Obama administration had announced the rules, tens of thousands of students filed claims for loan forgiveness. Many of these claims came against disgraced for-profit colleges and many applications had already been approved.

Now, however, the process has been halted. Responding to a Freedom of Information Act request from BuzzFeed News, the Education Department revealed that it has not approved a single fraud claim since Donald Trump’s inauguration. Thousands of students who had already been granted forgiveness to their loans are still waiting.

Last month, DeVos said she would delay implementation of the rule completely, which was slated to go into effect on July 1. In a statement last month, DeVos said the borrower defense regulations were “muddled process that’s unfair to students and schools, and puts taxpayers on the hook for significant costs.”

Leading the suit against DeVos is Massachusetts attorney general Maura Healy. She said in a statement that DeVos had “sided with for-profit school executives against students.”

The Education Department pointed to a lawsuit by a for-profit college trade association as the reason it was delaying the implementation of the rule. However, the states suing DeVos retorted that she and the department are only using this as a “mere pretext” for replacing the rules. They argue that the Education Department cannot stop enforcing existing regulations that don’t align with their philosophy without due process.

Politico obtained internal documents that reveal the department had considered alternative explanations for the delate before landing on the lawsuit.

For-profit schools are largely against the regulations, as are other vulnerable universities such as historically black schools. These groups claim the regulations puts a financial burden on colleges without allowing them to effectively challenge any students claims of fraud against them.

On top of the load forgiveness, the regulation also attempts to hold colleges financially responsible if they defraud the students to remove the economic stress on taxpayers.

Part of Hanscom Air Fore Base has been evacuated after security forces found “potentially explosive material” on a vehicle entering the base.

What Happened?

Security Forces were doing a routine vehicle inspection when around 9:00 A.M. when they detected something that caused response actions.

State Police said the screening revealed “potentially explosive material.” The bomb squad has responded to the scene to investigate along with the Air Wing. The FBI is also assisting in the investigation.

The base temporarily closed the Vandenberg Route 2A Gate and has evacuated nearby facilities.

Sky25 captured footage of a dog and an officer inspecting a truck near the gate of the base. The side of the truck had the logo “Big Foot Moving and Storage,” which is a local moving company. A representative for the company told Boston 25 News they were scheduled to go to Hanscom. Big Foot Moving and Storage CEO Mike Bavuso said the truck only has “household goods.” He said it is unclear what triggered the response, adding that the company is working with authorities.

State Police are setting up a perimeter extending 1,500 feet from the truck in all directions. They have also closed the exit from Route 2A.

Bedford Police said they are monitoring the situation but that there is “no danger to the community at this time.”

Hanscom Field airport, which has a different entrance, remains open. The State Fire Marshal’s office said an assessment of two suspicious vehicles is underway and that standard protocol is being followed. Sources told WBZ-TV’s Cheryl Fiandaca that the driver of the truck is still on scene.

No injuries have been reported at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

Hanscom Air Force Base

Hanscom AFB emerged as the Air Force’s center for development and acquisition of electronic systems in 1945.

It has played a large role in the high tech area in Cambridge, working with MIT and Harvard during times of war in the past.

More than 10,000 active duty, Reserve and National Guard personnel, along with contractors and civilians are supported, sustained and employed by Hanscom.

There is privatized housing on the base, with a total of 731 homes. The base covers 848 acres and is headquarters to the 66th Air Base group. The base spans land in Concord, Bedford and Lincoln.

HBO’s Game of Thrones will debut its seventh season in less than two weeks. Allow me a moment to take shots, do the happy dance and celebrate.

In advance of the season premiere, degenerate gamblers such as myself are beginning to prep for the endless deluge of entertaining prop bets that accompanies a new season of Game of Thrones. Fired ESPN host Britt McHenry went on an online rant against former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick and ESPN contributor John Feinstein Wednesday.

What Happened?

McHenry wrote a lengthy blog post criticizing Kaepernick’s tweets about his trip to Ghana where he saw slave prisons. Kaepernick wrote, “How can we truly celebrate independence on a day that intentionally robbed our ancestors of theirs? To find my independence I went home.”

McHenry responded: “My admiration will always go towards the men and women who have walked away from their loved ones, through fields of IEDs, and into the dangerous unknown. It will never go to the athlete who takes a knee after losing his starting job.”

The former ESPN host was referring to Kaepernick’s controversial protest of the National Anthem. She also touched on his voting stance.

“While you focus on philanthropic efforts, which are admirable, perhaps you can also employ that same effort to go into a voting booth. If you’re going to continually complain about the perceived slights and rights you don’t have, perhaps take the right you do have and back it up.”

She continued: “Americans can celebrate the official birth of this nation because despite all its flaws, for one day, there’s a reminder of unity no matter how many efforts you make to dismantle it.”

McHenry drew significant backlash a few weeks ago when she posted and then deleted a tweet that alleged that ESPN fired her for her conservative political leanings. Earlier this week, she engaged in a heated exchange with Feinstein on Twitter after he took a shot at her.

“Some very good and talented people lost jobs. Some not so good or talented people too (Britt McHenry, Andy Katz). They were the exceptions,” Feinstein tweeted.

McHenry responded: “you don’t know how I did my job, nor Andy. I’ve seen you many times in person. Interesting you’ve never voiced this.”

Feinstein said he never met McHenry but he did say he once told Katz, a college basketball reporter, how he felt about his work but has “NO memory” of seeing McHenry over her three years with ESPN.

McHenry then exited the exchange saying she was, “going to take the high road here without extra commentary,” she said. “You have. Have a nice day.”

Her blog post was her first since March. McHenry, who remains unemployed, made headlines when ESPN suspended her for one week in 2015 after a video of her verbally berating a towing company employee went viral.

Are you worried that your midnight video game habit is destroying your academic and social life? If so, don’t worry too much. What if someone told you that you could earn scholarship money by playing video games? All those days and nights of hand-eye coordination and reading about tactics and ways to earn more points and kills in a certain game will pay off. However, only a handful of gamers can receive this scholarship opportunity, but with some luck, you could be the next one.

Since its release in 2016, several gamers around the globe have been attached to Overwatch‘s aesthetics, cutting-edge graphics, and interesting gameplay. Initially, some thought that the game only connected people socially through the web and honed their hand-eye coordination, but the University of California, Irvine proved the doubters wrong when they recently announced their plan to recruit elite e-sports players for scholarships.

In the fall of 2017, UC Irvine will release its information and spots for the Overwatch scholarship. The school is one of the first schools to announce its scholarship opportunities for something related to gaming and competition. It started its e-sports scholarship with League of Legends, which went into effect last year.

Scholarship nominees will be paid $2,500 toward their tuition per year. In return, they will be required to practice for 15-20 hours a week and attend team meetings, community service, workouts, and competitions over the course of the competitive season.

There are also perks included with each e-sport student’s commitment. They will be granted unlimited usage to UCI’s e-sports arena. In addition, there will be a host of professional coaches, trainers, and a team psychologist who will provide undivided attention to each player. “We are very excited to take this next step in growing our scholarship program for top gamers who are also strong students and great members of our community,” Mark Deppe, the acting director of e-sports at UCI, said. “We look forward to connecting the excitement generated by our competitive teams to advance efforts along our other pillars: Academics, community, and entertainment.”

This scholarship offer is enticing but it’s also competitive. Last year, UCI’s e-sports program was a huge success, winning major accolades. Its gaming club’s Overwatch team won the Tespa Summer Series in 2016 and they also went undefeated in the Tespa Collegiate Series later that year.

UCI’s new program hopes to include a wide audience and game enthusiasts alike. Not only that, there are hopes that the game’s diverse players will help the school achieve its goal of making e-sports more inclusive and accessible to underrepresented groups.

Rayna Culver, a 43-year-old married middle school teacher from New Jersey, is accused of carrying on a long-term sexual relationship with her 15-year-old student, whom prosecutors say she adopted.

What Happened?

Culver was arrested in May on charges of second-degree sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. According to the criminal complaint, the victim was Culver’s former student at Rivera Middle School in Trenton, New Jersey. The two were described as “very close” and would talk frequently during the school year, according to The Trentonian.

When the young boy was kicked out of a relative’s home in December 2015, Culver invited him to stay with her. In early 2016, she became his legal guardian.

He would later tell investigators that he believed Culver invited him into her home to eventually “make sex a part of their relationship,” according to court documents, cited by South Jersey Times, stated.

The student reportedly told authorities that his relationship with Culver turned sexual in June 2016, when she began to fondle him one night before bed, stripped off his clothes, then procedded to perform oral sex on him and have intercourse with him.

“After that first incident, they would engage in sex often, and it was to the point where he felt that if he told her to stop she would get mad and kick him out of the house,” according to the complaint.

The 15-year-old eventually sent Culver a text message allegedly saying he no longer wanted to have sex, but she expressed a desire to continue with the affair, according to the complaint.

He told authorities that the two of them had sex almost every day over the course of several months.

In April, the alleged victim gave the authorities his cellphone containing text message exchanges with Culver, whose phone number was listed under the entry “Mom.”

The Illinois State Capitol Building is reportedly on lockdown after a woman was removed in handcuffs from the House gallery. Capitol police called the hazmat team and the fire department.

What Happened?

Shortly after the scheduled 1:30 P.M. start time, a House official announced there would be a delay as the chamber waits for more lawmakers to be allowed into the building. Shortly after, two security guards walked a handcuffed woman through a hallway in back of the House chamber.

The woman who was arrested allegedly threw a white powder substance in Governor Bruce Rauner’s office, the lieutenant governor’s office and the gallery in the House, according to Springfield Fire Department Chief Barry Helmerichs.

“It’s going to slow down any action, that’s for sure,” Helmerichs said.

The Springfield Fire Marshal tells WMBD he estimates the building will be on lockdown for at least another hour.

A total lockdown was put into effect and people inside were instructed to “shelter yourself.”

Comptroller Susana Mendoza is one of the officials not being allowed inside the Capitol. She said she approached a security guard, identified herself and asked to be let in. “He said he would like to allow me in but could not because of a hazmat situation,” Mendoza told the Chicago Tribune.

The lockdown comes as the Illinois House of Representatives were preparing to vote on overriding Governor Bruce Rauner’s budget veto.

DICE and Electronic Arts’ Star Wars: Battlefront II was a massive hit during the E3 Press Conferences at the Los Angeles Convention Center, earning four nominations for best of show awards by IGN. We also saw huge announcements about the AAA title during the 2017 Star Wars Celebration to get us hyped for its release in November.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson claims this version will be “bigger” than its 2015 original, too. Here’s everything we know so far about the newest installment in the long series of Star Wars video games. Control your hype, because things are about to get good.

Single-Player Story Mode

Our complaints from 2015 have been heard: DICE announced their intention to create a single-player story mode after observing some of the common gripesthat plagued the reviews of their first installment. DICE seeks to add more content and a broader chronological reach to this installment, spanning across all eras of the Star Wars trilogy. You can also expect to see familiar faces like Rey from The Force Awakens.

The single-player puts you in the shoes of Iden Versio, an Imperial officer. It’s also set right after The Return of the Jedi and spans to the very beginning of The Force Awakens, and it is crazy to think about how huge the timeline of the game is.

Multiplayer

The multiplayer experience claims to take players across “all eras” of the Star Wars saga, according to an interview with Wilson. The game will feature more locations and hero characters, along with more depth to the combat across all playable characters. We’ll also see a huge shift to class-based gameplay, which means strict combat roles assigned to each player. Players can choose between four different classes: Specialist, Officer, Heavy and Assault, similar to how Battlefield 1‘s class system defined its own roles. This is a huge change from the more unorganized combat classes of the first installment, which helps a lot. It’ll add a lot of depth to the game while also making it easy for people to choose how they want to play.

Another key addition to the multiplayer experience is the much-needed support of outer space battles, a core part that so many fans fought hard for in the first installment, even though the multiplayer in the first already offered its own dogfighting modes. We can also expect to see a swath of new aircraft, such as the Millennium Falcon and Luke Skywalker’s X-wing.

Reveal Trailer, Beta, Release Date

Here’s the reveal trailer originally released by an unexpected leak before its intended airing at the Star Wars Celebration event in Orlando:

EA confirmed that the game will receive a full beta on all platforms. We’re not sure when we’ll see the beta hit the presses, but we’re sure it’ll be at least a month before the game releases. We also know that pre-ordering the game will give players exclusive access to the multiplayer-only beta ahead of time. Players who didn’t pre-order the game will still be able to play the beta, but only after waiting a while for the official release.

Pre-ordering also grants players with special access to a variety of in-game items including Star Cards and nice skins, but seeing how the game fares against critics may be the best option before you decide to spend any of your hard-earned money.

All editions of Star Wars Battlefront 2 should come out on November 17 across all gaming platforms.

Warner Bros. received thousands of letters of complaint by fans who believed Keaton was the wrong choice to portray Batman. However, Keaton’s performance in the role ultimately earned widespread acclaim from both critics and audiences, and Batman became one of the most successful films of that year.

2000-Present

Keaton reportedly was cast as Jack Shephard in the series Lost, with the understanding that the role of Jack would be a brief one. Once the role was retooled to be a long-running series regular, Keaton withdrew. The part was then given to actor Matthew Fox. The show ran for six seasons, with the Shephard role continuing throughout. In addition, in 2015, Keaton appeared as Walter V. Robinson in the film Spotlight, and in 2016, he starred as businessman Ray Kroc in the biopic The Founder. More so, in 2016, Keaton entered negotiations to appear as a villain in Spider-Man: Homecoming, which will be released in 2017. Producer Kevin Feige confirmed in November that Keaton would be playing the supervillain the Vulture. Besides that, Keaton is set to portray the villain in Disney’s live-action adaptation of Dumbo. However, the most anticipated film to come out is Spider-Man: Homecoming, which will come out on July 7th, 2017.

Ronda Rousey went on Live with Kelly & Ryan recently and revealed that she had her Olympic rings and gun stolen during a break in.

According to the 30-year-old MMA Star, her fiancee Travis Browne returned to their Venice, California, home after she discovered they had been robbed. She told Kelly and guest host Jerry O’Connell that she stopped by her house after being away and was shocked to find out there had been squatters staying there.

“We realized we were robbed. Someone had been squatting in my house for like three days, sleeping in my bed. [They] stole my Olympic rings, stole my guns, all my precious jewelry, every headphone in the house. You don’t realize everything at first then [you realize that] all the headphones are gone!”

The former UFC bantamweight champion explained that Browne managed to track down the suspects.

“We had security cameras so then we looked back at them and we saw that they were a bunch of kids with skateboards and there’s a famous skatepark right across from the street, cause we’re in Venice. My man is 6’7 and 260 – he like bee-lines it straight to the to the skateboard park. Finds the guys right away. He’s smart enough not to [smacking action] in the middle of the [park]…We found the police right then and they caught them,” she concluded.

TMZ identified two of the suspects as 21-year-old Zhamila Bolat and 20-year-old Alim Young. Both suspects have been arrested for burglary, but they have not been formally charged.

Rousey’s UFC career has been the subject of much speculation since 2015. Following back-to-back knockout losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes, many in the sport expect her to retire.

50 Cent is not a good rapper. 50 Cent has never been a good rapper. His best album, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, was dope. But nerdy suburban white kids like myself loved that album mostly for the persona it created around 50 and for the tonal shift back to gangtser rap. So for 50 Cent, of all rappers, to take shots at JAY-Z and 4:44 is just laughable.

Since its release on June 30, 4:44 has already gone certified platinum and earned positive reviews from music critics, fans and fellow rappers. No, Hov didn’t suddenly drop a twilight years version of The Black Album, but 4:44 is rock solid. It’s leagues better than 50’s last studio effort, Animal Ambition, at least.

So, yeah, I don’t know why 50 is opening his trap on an Instagram video coming at the reigning king of New York, then deleting it cause, you know, it’s 50.

Here’s what he had to say:

“I thought the shit was aight, you know what I’m sayin’? I liked the shit. But I’ma keep it 100: The shit was a little, the shit was too smart. I felt like I was supposed to be wearing glasses and shit, and tie a fucking sweater around my waist. It was like Ivy League shit.”

“I ain’t gon’ hold you up,” 50 Cent added. “Some of that shit was like golf course music.”.

“I’mma tell you the truth: N—as hot out here,” he went on. “They don’t wanna hear that shit. They just wanna have a good time. Fuck that. You can’t be the best rapper at 47, because the new n—as is here,” 50 Cent said.

I agree, 50, you can’t be the best rapper at 47. But considering your 42 and haven’t been relevant in a musical sense in years, I don’t think you have room to talk. This isn’t the first time either. Back in 2015, 50 insinuated that Jay “capitalized” on his marriage to Beyonce. SMH.

Hopefully Jay doesn’t give 50’s comments the time of day. After all, what’s a goon to a goblin?
