Over the weekend, legendary actor Adam West died in Los Angeles at the age of 88. West, of course, was most famous for the comedic version of Batman from the 1960s.

Just a mere few hours after West’s passing, details of his life as a young man began to emerge, and to the surprise of no one (especially me), turns out Batman was a total savage.

According to the Daily Mail, West reportedly lived an absolutely bonkers life, sometimes sleeping with up to eight women in one night.

And not only was West slaying the nightlife, but he was getting the job done on set, too, as he and Burt Ward, his co-star who played Robin, would reportedly have ‘quickies’ with women in between scenes and while in his costume. West was even quoted as saying ‘because of the physical limitations of the costume, you gotta have quickies.’

West reportedly became a regular at orgies. Once, he and his friend and co-star Frank Gorshin – who played the villain, Riddler, in the Batman movies at the time – were banned from an orgy because they were mimicking the characters they played on television.

West said: ‘We walked in and it was an orgy. So I immediately went into the Batman character, and Frank went into the Riddler character because we were getting the big giggles.

‘It was so funny to us, what we walked into. And we were kicked out. We were expelled from the orgy.’

Prince William County police are responding to a shooting at a hotel in Woodbridge. The shooting was reported around 9:20 A.M. at the Quality Inn on Horner Road. A woman was reportedly shot Monday morning.

Officers say traffic in the area is being diverted.

What Happened?

The Prince William Police Department posted on Twitter that a shooting had occurred at the Quality Inn located on Horner Road in Woodbridge.

Authorities say the scene is “contained” and officers are on scene investigating.

At least one person is believed to be inside of that room, according to police, but they say they don’t know if that person is a suspect or another victim.

Judge, a right-handed outfielder, was a three sport stud at Linden high School in Linden, California. In 2010, he was selected in the 31st round of the MLB draft by the Oakland Athletics but instead chose to pursue baseball at Fresno State. That proved to be the right call.

In three seasons at Fresno State, Judge posted a .345 batting average while hitting 18 home runs, 93 RBIs and posting a slugging percentage of .526. He even won the 2012 TD Ameritrade College Home Run Derby. Basically, the dude raked and in 2013 was drafted No. 32 overall by the New York Yankees.

He signed a $1.8 million bonus with the Yankees upon agreeing to terms on his rookie contract.

2016 – 2017

In 2016, Judge signed a one-year deal worth $544,500 (fully guaranteed). That same year, he made his MLB debut, though it was not anything like what we’re seeing now.

In 27 games (84 at bats) last year, Judge managed a measly .179 batting average with four home runs, 10 RBIs and an alarming 42 strikeouts. While many in the Yankees organization still believes in his potential and raw physical gifts, the hype surrounding the young prospect severely diminished that year. The 25-year-old would have to prove himself again if he wanted that big contract every major leaguer dreams of.

2017 – Present

Judge will once again earn $544,500 this season (the league minimum is $530,000). This is slightly higher than New York’s typical pay scale for pre-arbitration-eligible players (roughly $100 per plate appearance or $539,500).

Judge is under team control through 2022, but will be ridiculously more expensive when contract talks heat up again. As of June 12, Judge is leading the American League in batting average (.344), home runs (21) and RBIs (47).

New York Yankees outfielder and current American League triple crown leader Aaron Judge is rumored to be dating Sterling Olmstead. The two haven’t gone public with their relationship, but have been linked since Judge posted a photo with her on Instagram.

Here’s the post that started it all:

Olmstead and Judge were together in Las Vegas with a group of friends for New Year’s Eve 2016. During a night out at Lavo, someone snapped the above pic of the crew.

If you look closely, you can see that Judge is holding hands with the girl on the far right. According to Fab Wags, the girl standing in front of Judge is Olmstead, 24, from California. The two follow each other on Instagram.

According to her LinkedIn page, Olmstead is a graphic designer at Revel Systems iPad POS.

“Develop internal and external marketing material for a fast-paced startup with consistent branding and cohesive creative direction. Work simultaneously on 5+ projects at a time, create visual aspects of marketing materials, event signage, infographics, created brand guidelines, partial product design, and all external facing client collateral. Olmstead graduated from California State University, Chico, in 2015. Judge attended California State University, Fresno, for three years before being drafted by the Yanks in the first round of the 2013 MLB Draft.

The Stoner Philosopher

We all have that one college friend who’s a tad too intellectual for their own good. You know the type: they wax poetic with eloquent life theories, they may dabble in a bit of weed smoking, they can talk themselves out of paying for beer every single damn time. They’re smart and they know it.

For them, the perfect Netflix options are Dave Chappelle’s stand up specials: The Age of Spin and Deep in the Heart of Texas. Besides the obvious comedy benefit, Chappelle’s specials are a treat because his world views are a goldmine of mental deconstruction.

From reconciling Bill Cosby’s heinous sexual assaults with his support of civil rights to taking down today’s Hollywood-obsessed culture, Chappelle is in peak form here on Netflix. It almost feels like the mid-2000s again. Chappelle is the rare comedian who has you dying laughing but also thoughtfully thinking. He pokes fun at major pop culture while also raising key questions like why do we value this so much as a society?

And that O.J. bit too…Just watch, you won’t regret it.

Frat Star

Frat stars are…interesting. Anyone you know whose main goal in college is to make it on TFM is a very unique type of special. Frat stars just want to have fun; they care about partying and living the life. Basically, they’re the exact opposite of the philosopher. And that’s perfectly okay, you need people in your life to bring the party.

That’s why BoJack Horseman is the perfect Netflix offering for frat stars. BoJack is so oddly, ridiculously hilarious that even the most shallow of beer chuggers is helpless to resist its indescribable brand of humor. Here’s the official synopsis followed by the trailer:

The Introvert

Roommates are always a hit or miss proposition, especially freshman year when you’re getting paired randomly. You pray to the beer pong gods that you’ll get someone cool, someone you can party with and who you won’t want to strangle in their sleep after one semester. Sadly, it doesn’t always work out that way. Sometimes, you get a introvert who doesn’t say more than 10 words to you all year and leaves their dirty Ramen bowls on the desk for months on end.

But don’t worry, creepily silent roommates need Netflix too. The perfect match for them is the deeply emotional 13 Reasons Why.

Newcomer Katherine Langford plays the role of Hannah, a young woman who takes her own life. Two weeks after her tragic death, a classmate named Clay finds a mysterious box on his porch. Inside the box are recordings made by Hannah — on whom Clay had a crush — in which she explains the 13 reasons why she chose to commit suicide. If Clay decides to listen to the recordings, he will find out if and how he made the list. This intricate and heart-wrenching tale is told through Clay and Hannah’s dual narratives.

13 Reasons Why will wreak havoc on your heart as it explores the ugly yet all too familiar side of high school and the isolation and alienation that can accompany that time in our lives. Though the show may be stretched too thin over 13 episodes, it manages to stick the landing with an absolutely brutal home stretch. Shoutout to Katherine Langford who absolutely crushes in the lead role.

The Softy

Bar fights, street fights, fraternity wrestling…College is filled to the brim with testosterone. For a place of higher learning, there sure are a lot of meatheads. Not everyone is built like that; some of us actually have (gulp) emotions. If you’re one of those types, you can cry big manly tears with the hilarious yet touching Netflix original movie The Fundamentals of Caring.

A writer (Paul Rudd) retires after a personal tragedy and becomes a disabled teen’s caregiver. When the two embark on an impromptu road trip, their ability to cope is tested as they start to understand the importance of hope and friendship.

Yeah, I won’t lie, I shed a few tears watching this movie. But whether they were from crying or laughing I can’t recall (spoiler alert: it was both). Anything with Paul Rudd is going to bring the comedy, but it is this movie’s sweetness that really impressed me. In between the LOL-worthy jokes about wiping assess and receiving oral sex from Katy Perry are poignant life lessons and relatable human connections.

Damn, I’m going to go rewatch this bad boy right now. #SoftyForLife

The Dreamer

We can’t all be finance and accounting majors. Sure, practical areas of study will help you get a job come graduation, but at what cost? Some people want to be artists, actors, singers, writers, etc. Those are the dreamers and god bless their creative little hearts. They’d get along well with Aziz Ansari’s Dev from his show Master of None.

Ansari plays the role of Dev, a New York-based actor who is struggling to identify what he really wants, both personally and professionally. The series reveals glimpses of Dev’s younger years, and explores current aspects of his life, including modern etiquette (regarding texting and social media), and being young and single in the city.

Holy hell is this show good. It runs the gamut on all different types of humor and emotional relevancy. If you’ve ever felt lost, this is the show for you. If you’ve ever wondered where you came from and where you’re heading, this is the show for you. If you ever want to laugh or just feel in general, this is the show for you.

Season one is great and season two is damn near perfect. If you’re looking for a new show to binge, this is COED’s No. 1 recommendation.

Sony’s presentation on Monday during the Electronic Entertainment Expo in LA is expected to feature more information about several upcoming triple-A titles in an effort to steal away the conference from the behemoths Microsoft and Nintendo.

Although no official company announcement regarding the announcement information broke ground, it’s safe to say that games like Call of Duty: WWII, God of War, Days Gone and the new Spider-Man game will make a huge splash onto the scene. Meanwhile, less likely games include The Last of Us Part II, which is still steeped with more development before it’ll get an announcement (maybe a teaser?), Death Stranding and Uncharted: The Last Legacy. The console giant has kept its mouth sealed shut about any of its features during the conference, so all we can do is speculate, but with so much smoke around there must be fire somewhere nearby.

For the first time, authorities have released video and images from the Todd Kohlhepp case, including the rescue of kidnapping victim Kala Brown. Todd Christopher Kohlhepp is an American serial killer who is convicted of murdering seven people in South Carolina between 2003 and 2016.

Kohlhepp, 46, pleaded guilty to seven counts of murder, four counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, two counts of kidnapping and one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. He was sentenced to seven consecutive life sentences plus an additional 60 years.

Kohlhepp had previously confessed that he killed Beverly Guy, Scott Ponder, Brian Lucas and Chris Sherbert in November 2003 at Superbike Motorsports.

“My neck’s attached to the wall,” Brown, 30, can be heard telling Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office deputies after they used a blow torch and crowbar to break into the crate last November. “We’re getting the bolt cutters, honey,” says one of the officers. “You’re okay, we’re here,” says another.

Brown had the presence of mind to quickly tell police that Kohlhepp, a real estate agent in the area, had fatally shot her boyfriend when the couple arrived for a job last August on Kohlhepp’s rural property in Woodruff.

Brown’s cramped, dark metal prison consisted of a mattress, water bottles, a few books and scores of storage boxes. She was kept chained in the crate for two months until police, acting on information gleaned from an investigation to find the missing Anderson couple, searched Kohlhepp’s property, The Independent Mail reported. They heard Brown screaming and pounding on the walls of the crate.

The video was released Friday by the 7th Judicial Circuit Solicitor’s Office, two weeks after Kohlhepp, 46, confessed in court to killing seven people. Videos of Kohlhepp’s interrogations, hundreds of case documents and crime-scene photos were also released Friday.

Kohlhepp’s confession was a part of a plea deal to avoid the death penalty.

In case you’re looking for a self-esteem boost, it’s been reported that the University of Hawaii has offered a football scholarship to an 11-year-old fifth grader. Unbelievable. When I was that age, I could barely tie my own shoes and this kid is out here taking interceptions 100 yards to the house.

Titan Lacaden plays quarterback and free safety for the Hawaii All Black Crusaders, and he’s presumably more unstoppable than Mike Vick in Madden NFL 2004. Here’s a tweet from Titan announcing the good news.

After her career with NBC was already off to a shaky start given the reception of her interview with Vladimir Putin, Megyn Kelly is again facing a backlash.

On Sunday, June 11, Kelly announced that the next interview on Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly would be with controversial right-wing radio show host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

Jones, who believes that 9/11 was an inside job and that the Sandy Hook massacre was staged, appears to be brining his patented paranoia and delusional to the Kelly interview.

However, despite the fact that the interview has yet to air, many people have already began to criticize Kelly for having Jones on her show in the first place.

Many people are upset with the fact that NBC and Kelly are giving Jones, who once said the parents of the 20 students murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary School were actors and the deaths of the children as well as six school employees were all faked, such a large platform to perpetuate his conspiracies.

Kelly tried to defend her programs decision to interview Jones by suggesting that InfoWars is credible because they are credentialed at the White House and President Trump has appeared on Jones’ show.

During his nearly 17 year prison stint for a crime he vehemently denied committing, Richard Anthony Jones was repeatedly told by others that there was another prisoner who looked just like him. They even shared the same first name.

Jones never bumped into this alleged doppleganger, but he passed along the information to his lawyers who began investigating, eventually concluding that Jones was indeed innocent.

What Happened?

On Wednesday, June 8, Jones’ lawyers presented their case to a Johnson County judge. The next day, Jones was freed after nearly 17 years in jail for a 1999 robbery in Roeland Park.

Beyond bearing a striking resemblance to this other man with the same first name, Jones’ lawyers pointed out that the other man lived in the area of the crime where Jones lived across state lines in Kansas City.

At Wednesday’s hearing in Johnson County District Court, witnesses, including the robbery victim, testified that looking at pictures of the two men together, they could no longer say if Jones was the perpetrator. Based on that testimony and the new evidence, Johnson County District Judge Kevin Moriarty ordered Jones’ release.

At 2:45 a.m. on Sunday morning, five female relatives grabbed a late bite to eat at a Lancaster, Pennsylvania Waffle House. During their meal, they got into a conformation with a group of three other women.

Mannheim Township police collared the quintet of brawlers for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor.

Cops identified the defendants as Deborah Shivers, 56; Tyneisha Shivers, 37; Latonia Shivers, 31; and Mercedes Shivers, 25, (each of whom lives in nearby Reading). The fifth woman, Tonisha Shivers, 37, resides in Dallas, Texas.

Are you down because the weekend is over? It’s understandable, no one likes to say goodbye. But at least the Houston Texans cheerleaders are here to “cheer” you up (sorry).

The crew of gorgeous gals hosted their fist Annual HTC Picnic on Sunday. They chilled, they grilled, they played volleyball and swam in the pool. They did all this in their bikinis, which we are very grateful for.

Now the optimist in us all can see this as a day of fun in the sun. But this also could be viewed as a direct challenge to the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders for the title of hottest cheerleading squad in the NFL. Personally, we’re hoping it’s the latter. There’s nothing we want to see more than an all-out cheerleader war Game of Thrones style. Yes, in this scenario the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders are the Lannisters.

Houston Texans

The Houston Texans were first established on October 6, 1999 and played their first season in 2002 as an expansion team, making them the youngest franchise in the NFL. The Texans replaced Houston’s previous team, the Houston Oilers, who moved to Tennessee and became the Tennessee Titans.

The team’s majority owner is Bob McNair. While the team mainly struggled in the 2000s, they clinched their first playoff berth during the 2011 season as AFC South division champions. The Texans have gone on to win more AFC South championships in 2012, 2015, and 2016. To date, the Texans are the only NFL franchise to have never played in a conference championship game.

I don’t know the first thing about Australian rules football, but you’d have to be a total simpleton not to enjoy the hell out of that highlight. Howe pretty much gave gravity the middle finger with the way he kept on rising. He got more air than Pedro taking his bike off a sweet jump.

But smartass Napoleon Dynamite references aside, that play from Howe reminded me of this classic Tom Chambers dunk. Using your opponent as a goddamn stepping-stone is always a crowd-pleaser.

I’ve been on Chance The Rapper since about 2013, so I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing his meteoric rise from the beginning.

Over the span of just four short years, Chance has gone from niche Chicago rapper to a bonafide superstar, winning Grammy’s, headlining tours & festivals, and now, he’s performing classics better than the original artists ever did.

Chance, who was one of the headlining acts on Saturday night at Bonnaroo, performed at the festival’s Superjam. Bonnaroo has a Superjam every year, where the headlining acts will join together to perform popular songs.

At this year’s Superjam, Chance covered Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg’s classic “Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang’ and Outkast’s seminal banger ‘Hey Ya.’

And in typical Chance fashion, it was a grand, over-the-top, beautiful performance, and in all likelihood was the highlight of Bonnaroo.

Kari Lewis, a other from Indiana, is shocking people with her striking resemblance to movie star Emma Watson.

The video store employee says she had no idea of her connection to Watson until two strangers pointed it out to her at the post office. Naturally, Lewis quickly took to Instagram to put the theory to the test. Check it out above.

Shortly after the first Harry Potter movie came out, the two girls told Kari she looked like Hermione Granger, Watson’s character in the wizard-themed saga. Kari had no idea who Watson was, and had to look her up along with her own mother.

“If it wasn’t for those two young girls, I probably wouldn’t have known about Harry Potter until a bit later,” Lewis told BuzzFeed News.

After she found out about Watson, Lewis crushed all of the Harry Potter books and watched all of the movies. Unsurprisingly, she began to take great pride in the Hermione character.

“I’ve always related to Hermione in the books (smart, bossy, avid reader, etc). So, it makes cosplaying as Hermione at conventions a thousand times better!” she said.

Since then, Lewis has continued to perfect her Watson replicas, including in-costume photos as Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Her Instagram is full of comments from users wowed by the resemblance.

“Congrats on being the only known young woman in existence who ISN’T actually Emma freaking Watson to actually come closer than anybody to looking like and having the incomparable beauty of EMMA FREAKING WATSON!” one of them wrote.

Two deputies were shot and injured in Knox County Monday afternoon, state police said.

Officers were attempting to serve an indictment warrant at a mobile home on KY-225 when they both were shot from inside the residence—both officers returned fire, killing the suspect.

What Happened?

The gunman who opened fire on two Kentucky Sheriff’s Deputies in Knox County is reportedly dead.

One deputy was flown to the hospital with serious injuries. The other was injured, but stable.
