Maher apologized for saying the ‘n-word’ on last week’s show. The comedian said that he “used (the word) in the banter of a live moment.”

Ice Cube enjoys Real Time. But he most certainly did not enjoy Maher slipping a racial slur last week. “I love your show, you’ve got a great show,” said Ice Cube. “But you be bucking up against that line a little bit. You know, you’ve got a lot of black jokes.”

“Against racists,” Maher said, trying to gain a measure of leverage.

“Sometimes you sound like a redneck trucker,” responded Ice Cube.

“It was wrong, and I apologized. More than that, I can’t do,” said Maher.

Ice Cube accepted Maher’s apology, but still felt that his verbal actions last week were reprehensible.

“I still think you need to get to the root of the psyche because I think there’s a lot of guys out there who cross the line because they’re a little too familiar, or they think they’re too familiar. Or, it’s guys that, you know, might have a black girlfriend or two that made them some Kool-Aid every now and then, and then they think they can cross the line. And they can’t. You know, it’s a word that has been used against us. It’s like a knife, man. You can use it as a weapon or you can use it as a tool. It’s when you use it as a weapon against us, by white people. And we’re not going to let that happen again by nobody because it’s not cool. Now, I know you heard, it’s in the lexicon and everybody’s talking, but that’s our word now. That’s our word now, and you can’t have it back.”

Cube then explained why it’s fine for black people to say the word, but not white people. “It’s not cool because when I hear my homie say it, it don’t feel like venom. When I hear a white person say it, it feel like that knife stabbing you, even if they don’t mean it.”

“I think this is a teachable moment, not just to you but to the people who are watching right now,” said Ice Cube.

“I think the people who are watching right now are saying: that point has been made,” said an annoyed Maher.

“Not by me,” replied Ice Cube.

The former press secretary to Bernie Sanders even commented on the conversation. Symone Sanders said,

“As a white person in America, you would’ve been the master, the slave owner… It was mostly black women who were enslaved in the house, who were raped, who were beaten daily, day in and day out. They endured physical and mental abuse. For a lot of people in America, that was like slap in the face to black America, particularly to black women.”

Tommy Christopher completely agrees with Cube and thinks Maher should shut up and listen.

Legendary television star Adam West passed away today in Los Angeles. West is most famous for his lead role in the 1960s Batman series, as well as his reoccurring character of Mayor Adam West on Family Guy.

The career of Adam West has spanned seven decades. He began his career in 1954 and remained active in show business up until his death Saturday morning. West has left many memorable moments that will linger on for years to come. He has also made a sizable income during his stay in Hollywood. Let’s take a look at West’s bank book…

West started off his career as a sidekick on a kid’s show called El Kini Popo Show. He later took over as host of the show. In 1959, the young William West Anderson moved to Hollywood with his wife and two children. Under the bright lights of Hollywood, he took up the stage name of Adam West. And the rest would be history…

Adam appeared in numerous television programs, including westerns, sitcoms, science-fiction, and crime dramas. But West finally hit super-stardom when he was cast as the lead character in the 1966 series Batman. This show inspired a film and lasted for over two years, producing 120 episodes in total.

Batman may have been both a curse and a blessing. His role as the caped crusader typecasted West. Adam’s next film The Girl Who Knew Too Much became a big box office disappointment.

1969 – 1983

The fading star struggled and sought a living making Batman appearances. He even got into a mini-feud with Jerry “The King” Lawler when he appeared for the Memphis, Tennessee-based United States Wrestling Association. But West was no wrestler…

West appeared in numerous films and movies throughout the ’70s and ’80s. He may not have that high-profile Batman role anymore, but the guy can still get work. He appeared in films such as The Curse of the Moon Child (1972), The Specialist (1975), Hooper (as himself; 1978), The Happy Hooker Goes Hollywood (1980) and One Dark Night (1983). West also made guest appearances on shows such as Maverick, Bewitched, The Love Boat, and Fantasy Island.

Adam returned to his role as Batman numerous times throughout his career. He starred in the short-lived 1970s cartoon program The New Adventures of Batman. He even returned to playing Batman live and in costume on the TV special Legends of the Superheroes.

1990s – Present

Fast forward to the 1990s and West is profiting off of his status as a cultural icon. He appeared as himself on programs such as The Drew Carey Show, Murphy Brown, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Ben Stiller Show, and more.

West also appeared as a washed-up superhero on the Goosebumps episode “Attack of the Mutant.” He also appeared on the show Space Ghost Coast to Coast in the episode “Batmantis.”

He’s lent his voice to many television shows. His voice acting resume includes appearances on The Simpsons, Johnny Bravo, Futurama, Rugrats, Kimpossible, and more. But he’s most famous for playing the role of Mayor Adam West in the hit prime-time cartoon sitcom Family Guy.

In 2010, West was given a Golden Palm Star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars. On April 12, 2012, the actor received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A year later, he was the subject of his own documentary called Starring Adam West.

Adam West has left a lasting mark on the world of popular culture. He’ll be remembered for all the laughs and smiles. West is the funniest Batman to have ever lived, which is a hard task to pull off since the caper crusader is so dark and serious. Someone like West brings charm and light to the character of the Dark Knight.

Police say that a car ran through pedestrians at Amsterdam central train station on Saturday. He struck multiple people with his vehicle and then drove into a wall. A total of five people have been injured in the incident, and the suspect has been arrested.

Two of the injured were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. While three were treated on the spot.

The driver was parked in a spot where he wasn’t allowed to stop. When police approached the suspect, he drove off and hit a wall.

Chi Po-Lin died in a helicopter crash near the coastal town of Fengbin in Taiwan. Just before noon on Saturday, Po-Lin based away. He showcased his skills as an aerial photographer, and promoted his views as an environmentalist.

On Thursday, he announced a sequel to Beyond Beauty which would cost $3 million to make.

The Bell 206 craft operated by Emerald Pacific Airways plunged into the earth. Three people died in total. Along with Chi Po-Lin, the pilot Chang Chih-kuang, and Chi’s assistant Chen Kuan-chi were killed in the crash. No one survived the wreck.

Chi Po-Lin was 52-years-old at the time of his death. He was born on December 27, 1964.

Po-Lin directed the following films: Taiwan from the Air (2012), Beyond Beauty: Taiwan from Above (2013), Taichung – The Heart Of Taiwan (2014), and Beyond Beauty II (2019, posthumous).

Someone should seriously give SunShine McCurdy her own reality show. SunShine has top snake wrangling skills and the personality to boot. She’d be a good fit for TLC or The Discovery Channel. She’s a mom who captures and relocates five-foot-long snakes like it’s nobody’s business. Alright, that sounded a bit weird, but you get the picture.

SunShine McCurdy is from Forest City, North Carolina. Recently, she returned home to find a very large snake slithering around. Her daughter spotted the snake, who just came home from school with her snake-grabbing mommy. McCurdy said, that serpent “came in like any other guest, through the front door.”

McCurdy scooped up that snake with a pillowcase without breaking a sweat. It appears as if she’s done this before. But when SunShine captured the critter, it sprayed this southerner with stinky musk.

“I done got snake skunked again, son of a gun,” says SunShine. Yep…she’s done this before.

SunShine was able to release Mr. Sneaky Snake back into the wild. He left her with a scent she won’t soon forget. It’s going to be hard to wash out too. McCurdy said that her house would “smell awful for days.” But don’t worry, that black snake wasn’t venomous, but it sure was stanky.

Almost one thousand prisoners escaped from a Beni jail in the Democratic Republic of Congo. According to the governor of North Kivu province, attackers used heavy weapons to raid the prison and free 900 inmates.

Close to a dozen people have perished as a result of this prison break, including eight guards who worked at the jail.

The identity of the attackers have not been revealed. But local officials and activists are speculating…

Local activist Teddy Kataliko said that the city of Beni Congo is populated with multiple self-defense militias.

But this prison break pails in comparison to last month’s jailbreak when 4,000 prisoners escaped from a high security prison in the capital Kinshasa. The inmates fled the penitentiary after an attack that was later blamed on a separatist sect.

Where is the Democratic Republic of Congo?

The Democratic Republic of Congo is located in Central Africa. French is the dominant language of the region. Congo achieved independence from Belgium on June 30th, 1960.

Authorities were told that human feces were flung at these customers. But when the hazmat team came to investigate, it was determined that no foul play was involved in this sh*tty situation. The poop didn’t come from any human. That sh*t came right from stanky geese booty as they flew over Disneyland. Those geese drop more bombs than your favorite rapper/politician.

People freaked out so much about the dooky that the Anaheim Police Department got involved. The poop is now in the hands of the police (not literally tho)…

Thankfully, no one was injured in the sh*t-storm.

Some peeps got hit with sh*t, police arrived on the scene and determined that no foul play was involved. The geese didn’t mean. They’re just geese and gotta sh*t…

Darren Wyatt, an Anaheim Police Department spokesman, said that it was “clearly goosepoop” that was culprit.

A hazmat team was sent off to Main Street near the Sleeping Beauty Castle to investigate and clean up the sticky situation. Meanwhile, the visitors/goose-poop-victims were led into to a private restroom, where they could clean-up. The Disneyland customers who were sh*t on by geese received clean clothes to wear.

But it’s only a matter of time before those devious geese strike again!

Hopefully, next time they’ll bring an umbrella. Seriously tho…

Kevin Spacey will host the 2017 Tony Awards, and it should be a jam packed event.  It was just last year where the Hamilton craze sparked the nation, and now other Broadway shows are looking to ignite after a big Tony bump.

A lot of signs are pointing at the smash hit Dear Evan Hansen to sweep in a lot of categories including best musical. However, this year’s best musical category has some tough competition as the musical based on the film Groundhog Day was given great reviews and the musical based on the book War and Peace called Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 is critically acclaimed for its production value and performance by the cast.

Hollywood celebs also graced the stage, as there is a slew of top list talent that is up for awards as well. Kevin Kline, Pattie LuPone Chris Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Sally Field, Laura Linney, Bette Midler, Josh Groban, Laurie Metcalf, and Corey Hawkins are all up for best lead actor and actress for their respective roles. Best supporting also has some big stars such as Nathan Lane, Danny DeVito, Cynthia Nixon, and Andrew Rannells.

Bett Midler stole the show with her revival of Hello Dolly, which is up for a Tony for best revival of a musical. Another great thing about the Tony’s is you were not able to catch the shows that are or were on Broadway, then tune in for they will give you a taste of each show that is up for best musical.

Cooper’s doppelgänger makes a phone call in prison that causes the security system to go haywire. In Buckhorn, an autopsy of the decapitated body reveals Dougie’s wedding ring in the stomach. At the Pentagon, Colonel Davis is informed that the fingerprints on the Buckhorn body match Garland Briggs’s – the sixteenth set of his prints they have found in 25 years.

Retired NFL Hall-of-Famer Shannon Sharpe didn’t mince words when it comes to Draymond Green. Last week, Green revealed that he spoke with Kevin Durant with the intention to recruit this Oklahoma City star. Right after the Warriors Game 7 loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Green was hungry to add Durant to the Warriors.

Green knew that Durant would be a perfect fit for the Warriors.

“Green was already working on that as he left Oracle Arena after that gutting Game 7 loss. Green sat in his car in the parking lot and called Myers (the Warriors GM), telling him he had to sign Durant. “It’s on you,” Green told Myers.

Production on the fourth season of ABC’s Bachelor In Paradise has been halted after allegations of misconduct involving two contestants. The season was set to premiere on August 8th.

The allegations stem from conduct between cast members Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson.

According to Los Angeles Times reporter Amy Kaufman, on the first day of filming, Jackson and Olympios got ‘extremely intoxicated.’ Olympios allegedly approached Jackson at the bar and kissed him. From there, they proceeded to the pool, where they got naked.

As the two were in the pool, a source said that it turned into ‘soft core porn’. One of the producers who witnessed the incident did not show up for work the following day. This producer has allegedly sued the production over the misconduct she witnessed.

Warner Bros. released a statement on the incident on Sunday, June 11:

“We have become aware of allegations of misconduct on the set of Bachelor in Paradise in Mexico. We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action.”

Former NBA player and first round draft picking Sebastian Telfair was arrested on Sunday, June 11 on weapons and drugs charges in Brooklyn, New York.

Telfair, 32, was allegedly illegally parked in a pickup truck with another man, 18-year-old Jami Thomas. When Telfair and Thomas were spotted by police them, police stopped them after Telfair started driving without turning the car’s headlights on.

Upon searching the vehicle, New York City Police officers found three loaded firearms, one semi-automatic rifle, a bulletproof vest, a large quantity of ammunition and two bags of marijuana inside the car.

Telfair, 32, and another man, Jami Thomas, 18, were found with three loaded firearms, a semi-automatic rifle, ammunition and a bullet-resistant vest, police said. Two bags of marijuana and a burning marijuana cigarette were also allegedly found in the 2017 Ford F-150 pickup with Florida plates.

They were parked illegally on the median on Atlantic Avenue near Classon Street, said police. As officers approached, they started to drive off, according to the source. Police who pulled them over smelled marijuana and saw a lit “blunt” on the dashboard, police said.

Telfair and Thomas were at the police precinct Sunday afternoon. It wasn’t clear whether they had attorneys.

Telfair is facing charges of gun possession and possession of a controlled substance.

This is not Telfair’s first legal incident. In April 2007, Telfair was charged with second-degree possession of a handgun. In October 2008, he pleaded guilty Telfair pleaded guilty criminal possession of a weapon and was sentenced to three years of probation.

Telfair was the 13th draft pick in the 2004 NBA Draft, being selected by the Portland Trail Blazers. Telfair played for eight different teams during his 10-year NBA career, last playing with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
