Capital University is alerting students about a possible active shooter near the main campus.

What’s Happening?

The university sent out an alert on Twitter telling students to seek safety in the area along 949 Ferndale, a couple blocks south from the main campus. The alert described the suspects only as two black males, with one wearing a red cap backwards.

The incident is not on the campus, though it did take place roughly 15-minutes walking from the main school grounds. Columbus Police confirmed that shots were fired in the area. However, the university is not on lockdown and officials say the alerts were sent out of precaution to inform students of what’s happening.

As of now, there have been no reports of injuries.

No other details are immediately available.

Capital University is a private liberal arts and research university in Bexley, Ohio. It was established in 1830 and has 153 full-time employees among the academic staff serving a total enrollment of 3,465 students.

Famous voice-actor Peter Sallis has passed away at the age of 96. He’s known for the role of Wallace in the British claymation comedy series Wallace and Gromit. Wallace was that cheese-loving, good guy inventor. He was always alongside Gromit, an intelligent, yet silent anthropomorphic dog.

I remember when I was 13-years-old, my father took my brother and I to see The Curse of the Were-Rabbit in the theaters. I’m sure many of us have fond memories of Sallis’ work. One of the terrorists in the London terror attack on Saturday has been identified as British extremist Khuram Butt.

Butt, 27, was a married father of two nicknamed ‘Abz’. He was born in Pakistan, and according to reports, was so extreme he called fellow Muslims without beards non-believers, would not speak to women directly and was banned from a mosque for berating worshippers for being ‘un-Islamic’.

Butt, who worked KFC and Transport for London, was known to both the police and MI5 before the attack. Butt, who was a soccer fan, wore an Arsenal shirt under his fake suicide belt as he and two friends crashed their van into crowds on London Bridge before stabbing civilians. The three terrorists killed seven people and left another 48 injured on Saturday, June 3.

The second terrorist was named as Rachid Redouane, while MI5 is awaiting what they described as ‘international confirmation’ before naming the third terrorist in the attack.

Butt’s appeared in a TV documentary, Channel 4’s The Jihadis Next Door, in 2016 about British jihadis. He was also involved in an altercation with police in after he displayed an ISIS flag in Regent’s Park.

Butt was reported to the anti-terror officials after he became radicalized by watching extremist videos on YouTube.

Following the attacks, neighbors said Butt hid behind a ‘nice guy’ persona while tricking parents into trusting him to be alone with their children.

The Metropolitan Police released a full statement on Butt:

The Met’s Counter Terrorism Command has released the names and photographs of two men shot dead by police following the terrorist attack on London Bridge and Borough Market on Saturday, June 3.

While formal identification has yet to take place, detectives believe they now know the attackers’ identities. They believe two of the men are Khuram Shazad Butt and Rachid Redouane, both from Barking, east London. All three men were confronted and shot dead by armed officers within eight minutes of the first call. Khuram Shazad Butt, 27, was a British citizen who was born in Pakistan. Rachid Redouane, 30, had claimed to be Moroccan and Libyan.

He also used the name Rachid Elkhdar, with a different date of birth. Inquiries are ongoing to confirm the identity of their accomplice. Detectives would like to hear from anyone who has any information about these men that may assist them with the investigation. They are particularly keen to hear about places they may have frequented and their movements in the days and hours before the attack. At 10.08pm on Saturday, a hired white Renault van travelled north to south on London Bridge and mounted the pavement, which collided with pedestrians before they abandoned the vehicle. The three attackers, armed with knives, continued into the Borough Market area, stabbing numerous people.

The attackers were then confronted by the firearms officers and eight police firearms officers discharged their weapons. Seven people were killed. Work to inform the next of kin of the victims is ongoing. This is taking time because we believe some of the victims are from abroad. Of the 48 people taken to hospital, 36 are currently being cared for in London hospitals with 18 remaining in a critical condition.

The investigation into this horrific attack is fast moving and complex as we piece together a fuller picture of what occurred. So far officers have arrested 12 people – seven women and five men – and searched six properties – four on Sunday and a further two properties today. One of the arrested men and one of the women were subsequently released. Counter terrorism partners have dedicated intensive effort to developing and improving our counter terrorism response over recent years, as the threat has changed. The more we know, the greater the chance when an attack does happen we will have some information about at least one perpetrator.

Our work necessarily involves making difficult judgements about how to prioritise the resources available to us at a time when the UK is facing a severe and high tempo terrorist threat. There are 500 current terrorism investigations, involving 3,000 current subjects of interest. A small number of the highest priority investigations involve current attack planning, and these investigations command a significant proportion of our resource. The remainder of our investigations focus on other activities relating to active support or facilitation of terrorism. Khuram Shazad Butt was known to the police and MI5. However, there was no intelligence to suggest that this attack was being planned and the investigation had been prioritised accordingly. The other named man, Rachid Redouane, was not known.

Work is ongoing to understand more about them, their connections and whether they were assisted or supported by anyone else. We cannot say more about them at this stage. Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said: ‘I would urge anyone with information about these men, their movements in the days and hours before the attack and the places they frequented to come forward.

‘The police and our partners are doing everything we can across the country to help prevent further attacks and protect the public from harm.’ At any one time MI5 and police are conducting around 500 active investigations, involving 3,000 subjects of interest. ‘Additionally, there are around 20,000 individuals who are former subjects of interest, whose risk remains subject to review by MI5 and its partners.

‘The security and intelligence services and police have stopped 18 plots since 2013, including five since the Westminster attack two months ago.’ He added: ‘We would urge the public to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to the police by calling us in confidence on 0800 789321 or in an emergency calling 999.’

What’s Happening?

The main perpetrator behind the attack on the London Bridge has been identified as married father-of-two Khuram Butt. His friend who helped him carry out the terrorist attack has been identified as Rachid Redouane – believed to be a pastry chef living in Ireland after marrying a Scottish wife. Unlike Butt, Redouane is not believed to have been on any watch lists as a terrorist. Redouane also uses the name Rachid Elkhdar and claimed to be six years younger. Redouane is from Barking, East London.

The third attacker has yet to be named by the Metropolitan Police.

Redouane was 30-years-old and born in July 1986. He had said he was Moroccan and Libyan. According to Sky, an Irish ID card was found on Redouane’s body.

Charisse O’Leary, 38, the mother of Redouane’s 18-month-old child, is among seven women also arrested by police investigating the terror attacks. She reportedly yelled, “Don’t shoot,” when police stormed a block of apartments in East London yesterday. O’Leary, who also goes by the name Charisse Redouane, married Rachid in 2012 in Ireland. It is unknown if she adopted his faith and it is believed at this time that the two split before Saturday night’s tragedy.

The Times reported that she was believed to be a convert, but friends told the Mirror she was not. In recent social media posts, Charisse complained that Redouane did not visit their daughter enough.

Seven women and five men aged between 19 and 60 were arrested under the Terrorism Act in Barking on Sunday. A 55-year-old man was later released without charge.

Though Butt was on the watch list, there was reportedly no evidence that he was planning an attack and his filed was not deemed a priority.

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said: “There was no intelligence to suggest that this attack was being planned and the investigation had been prioritised accordingly.

“Work is ongoing to understand more about them, their connections and whether they were assisted or supported by anyone else.”

Though Redouane was unknown to security organizations, Butt’s is not surprising. British security organizations are coming under fire as Butt was featured in a TV documentary last year about British jihadis. He was involved in a filmed altercation with police after unfurling an ISIS flag in Regent’s Park.

He was also seen on Channel 4’s The Jihadis Next Door alongside two well-known preachers on the radars of police and intelligence officials due to their extremist views.

Butt was also reported to the anti-terror hotline after he became radicalized by watching extremist videos on YouTube and police were even warned about the suspect radicalizing children in a local park two years ago by giving them candy and money to listen to him.

London Bridge Attack

Three men have been IDed by British police as being responsible for Saturday’s terror attack on the London Bridge. The assailants killed seven people and wounded 48 others by crashing a vehicle into a crowd and then stabbing people in nearby Borough Market.

Today, Thad Matta held a press conference to announce that he would be retiring immediately as the men’s basketball coach at Ohio State University.

Matta is only 49-years-old, which is absolutely shocking news to me. I would’ve bet my bottom dollar that he was at least 60, but Matta has battled health problems since having a botched back surgery in 2007.

Despite having also held head coaching gigs at Butler (2000-2001) and Xavier (2001-2004), Matta is most well-known for his tenure with the Buckeyes. From 2004-2017, he called the shots for Ohio State’s men’s basketball program, posting a 337-123 record overall and a 150-78 record in Big Ten play.

Ohio State missed the NCAA Tournament each of the past two years, but they made it to March Madness nine times under Matta’s guidance, including a trip to the National Championship in 2007 and the Final Four in 2012. Matta won five Big Ten regular-season titles and four Big Ten conference championships, which will give Ohio State some extremely big shoes to fill.

The gunman who killed five people before taking his own life at Orlando Fiamma Inc., Monday morning has been identified as 45-year-old John Robert Neumann Jr.

What Happened?

Neumann reportedly killed five people at the Fiamma Inc. RV awning company, Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said. The business fired him in April, supporting the “disgruntled employee” ID that News 6 WKMG/ClickOrlando reported.

Neumann is said to have been armed with a handgun, a large hunting knife and a smaller knife during the attack. The suspect did not appear to have a concealed weapons permit, according to police.

Eight individuals survived the attack, with one witness claiming that the shooter told her to leave, the sheriff said.

Neumann, who lived alone, was previously the subject of a June 2014 workplace violence incident in which he “allegedly battered another employee,” Demings said. No charges were ultimately brought. His criminal history also included marijuana possession, DUI and misdemeanor battery charges, according to police. It does not appear as if he was involved with a terror organization.

Florida Governor Rick Scott said he had been briefed on the incident and was coordinating with law enforcement.

Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings said, “The individual in question is a former employee. He was fired sometime in April of this year. He was a disgruntled employee who came back here this morning.”

Demings said Neumann lived alone in the Orlando area and did not have family nearby. He was an army veteran who was honorably discharged in 1999. Per online records, Neumann live in Maitland, Florida, and has also lived in Winter Springs.

Police say they are preparing a search warrant for Neumann’s home as part of the ongoing investigation.

This is the second major shooting in the city in just under a year. On June 12, 2016, 49 people were massacred at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

According to a recent reports, there have been 181 mass shootings in the United States in 2017.

ESPN has rehired Hank Williams Jr. to sing the “Monday Night Football” theme after they decided to “part ways” with Williams back in 2011. Williams was let go following his comments prior to the 2012 presidential elections in which he used an analogy that involved President Obama and Hitler.

During an interview on “Fox & Friends” of Fox News Channel, Williams commented about how President Obama playing golf with House Speaker John Boehner was akin to “Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu.” Shortly after his comments, ESPN released a statement expressing their “disappointment with his comments,” and pulled Williams song from their telecasts. Williams responded with a statement of his own, claiming the decision to pull the song was his own, and that ESPN had “stepped on the toes of the First Amendment.”

Now, six years after a move that some thought was permanent,  Williams is returning to “Monday Night Football,” with a new version of his song “All my Rowdy Friends,” which famously asks “Are you ready for some football?” The song will debut before the first Monday night game of the season on ESPN.  ESPN’s senior vice president of events and studio production Stephanie Druley said that the song is “an iconic song associated with football,” and the decision is about “returning to what fans know.”

ESPN’s decision to bring Williams back has garnered reaction and opinion all over the internet. After ESPN fired close to 100 employees at the end of April, some are questioning the decision to bring back Williams. Some lamented money spent on a minute long song on a once a week broadcast during 16 weeks of the year could have been spent better on writers who cover football every day the entire year. Others are concerned that bringing Williams back no longer condemns his 2011 comments.

Others hope that this is a sign that ESPN is turning away from politics and is getting back to the glory days of old ESPN. A possible political slant at ESPN and in their content has been up for debate,  but Disney CEO Robert Iger dismisses any claims of a media bias at ESPN .

As ESPN has lost subscribers and readership, they been forced to lay off employees and readjust and reevaluate their strategies and business plan. While rehiring Williams may not have been explicitly declared as a PR move, ESPN will likely be watching the ratings to see if returning to the original and classic song and faces and will benefit the company.

One of the most dynamic big men in the NBA, Kevin Love has been admired for his proficient rebounding skills and well developed shooting capabilities. While not the most outspoken player in the NBA, Love has been an exemplary talent that has remained humble while inspiring his teammates to reach their potential on the court. Love is also a respected altruist as he joined the Hoops for St. Jude’s charity program in 2009 after working with the hospital during his rookie season. How did the versatile basketball star get there? And how have Love’s numerous accomplishments enabled him to obtain this type of wealth? Let’s find out.

2008-2013

Although Love was initially drafted with the fifth overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies, he was ultimately traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, along with several other players.

After a rocky start during his rookie season, new head coach Kevin McHale revitalized a woeful Timberwolves franchise as they went 10-4 in January with Love averaging a double-double. Overall, Love’s rookie season was a major success as he finished first among rookies in rebounding and double-doubles.

While expectations were high for the second-year power forward, he was sidelined before the start of the 2009 season due to breaking his fourth metacarpal in his left hand in a preseason game. However, after missing the first 18 games of the season following surgery, Love came back to the struggling Timberwolves ready to contribute. Throughout the rest of the season, Love established himself as one of the most physical and vigilant players in the NBA as he led the league in rebounds per 48 minutes (18.4), besting the highly respected Dwight Howard.

Despite his impressive output on both offense and defense last year, Love’s minutes were still limited by head coach Kurt Rambis in 2010. Still, Love made the most of his opportunities as he recorded a “30-30” game against the New York Knicks(31 points and 30 rebounds), which had not been accomplished since 1982. Unsurprisingly, Love was finally selected to his first All-Star game in place of a injured Yao Ming. Throughout the rest of the season, Love continued to assert himself as one of the best two-way players in the game as he recorded 53 straight double-doubles (breaking the team record previously held by Kevin Garnett who had 37). Once again, Love led the league in rebounding with 15.2 per game and won the NBA Most Improved Player Reward due to his vastly improved scoring output.

The start of the 2011 season proved to be a divisive ordeal between Love and the Timberwolves as contract negotiations were extremely tense. Ultimately, Love and the Timberwolves settled on a four-year extensions worth up to $62 million with a option for Love to opt out of the contract after the third year. Despite the overwhelming contract disputes, Love’s play on the court never faltered as he recorded 15 straight double-doubles to start the season. For his efforts, Love was named to the All-NBA second team and finished sixth in the MVP voting. However, between the inexplicably complicated contract negotiations and the Timberwolves poor play in recent years, Love began to slowly turn away from the organization while looking forward to free agency in 2015.

The 2012 season was immensely frustrating for Love, as he was unable to consistently compete due to a broken right hand injury. Although Love played fairly well when he was healthy, his confidence and commitment to the Timberwolves was beginning to deteriorate. All told, the season was one to forget as Love only played in 18 games and his offensive abilities regressed due to his shooting hand injury.

Love came into the 2013 season with a massive chip on his shoulder due to his extended absences during the previous year. Love overcame his dismal shooting numbers from last season as he set a Timberwolves record for most made three pointers in a season (143). On top of that, Love also set a NBA record as the first player to record 2,000 points, 900 rebounds and 100 three pointers in a single season.

He reportedly earned $14.6 million in 2013

2014-Present

Before the start of the 2014 season, Love was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a three team trade that also involved the Philadelphia 76ers. Love was instrumental in helping the Cavaliers earn a number two seed in the NBA playoffs with an overall record of 53-29. Although Love recorded a double-double against the Boston Celtics in the first round, he missed the rest of the playoffs after he dislocated his shoulder in Game 4 of the first round. While the Cavaliers battled all the way to the NBA Finals in Love’s absence, his team would eventually lose to the heavily favorited Golden State Warriors in six games.

After testing the free agent market before the start of 2015 season, Love ultimately re-signed with the Cavaliers. With a healthy Love and Kyrie Irving, the Cavaliers easily secured the first seed in the Eastern Conference. Although the Cavaliers would ultimately make it back to the NBA Finals to defeat the Golden State Warriors in seven games, Love’s lack of production during the majority of the post season was disconcerting. Most notably, Love only recorded nine total points during Game’s 5 and 6 of the NBA Finals (Cavaliers were still able to win both of these games).

Despite his underwhelming performances during the NBA playoffs, Love came back to the Cavaliers a NBA Champion and returned to form as a respected two-way threat in 2016. He was named to the Eastern Conference All-Star reserve for the 2017 NBA All-Star Game. Unfortunately, Love had to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery on his left knee, thus forcing him to miss the All-Star Game. In the playoffs, Love has been solid as a scorer (14.7 PPG) and has been extremely effective as a proficient rebounder (8.8 RPG). Currently, the Cavaliers are facing the Warriors for the third consecutive year in the NBA Finals and are down 0-2 in the series.

Throughout his career, Love has been the consummate team player who has had to contend with one egregious type of adversity after another. Given how dismal the Timberwolves were during Love’s time there, it was impressive to witness his insatiable desire to contribute to his teams success in any way that he could. Thankfully, Love is now with a championship contender and has usually made the most of his opportunities on the court. If Love can help the Cavaliers persevere to come back again in the NBA Finals, he will undoubtedly get the immense amount of respect that he has always deserved.

We get it, but it’s unnecessary; just put your Ed Hardy shirt back on and don’t look me in the eyes while I try to one-bite my Baconator.

5. Boston Celtics vs. St. Louis Hawks (1961)

With a margin of 34-points, the Boston Celtics beat the St. Louis Hawks 129-95 in game one of the series. A pretty good way to send a message early on in the series, if I do say so myself.

4. Washington Bullets vs. Seattle Supersonics (1978)

Having just one point worse of a game than the ’61 Hawks, the Supersonics solidify the number 4 seed in the battle for the worst of the worst in history. Losing by a margin of 35-points, the Bullets outscored the Supersonics 117-82 in game 6 of the series.

3. San Antonio Spurs vs. Miami Heat (2013)

This game took place not too long ago. The year was 2013. Macklemore stunned the world with “Thrift Shop” and the San Antonio Spurs stunned the Miami Heat, beating them 113-77 (a 36-point deficit) in game 3 of the series.

2. Boston Celtics vs. Los Angeles Lakers (2008)

With this whooping taking place in game 6 of the series, it must’ve been a real sigh of relief for the Boston Celtics to know, before the clock ran out, that they were taking the NBA Championship home to Boston. They ended up winning the game 131-92 (a 39-point lead).

The outcome of this game is music to the ears of those who love to bet the under. With the Chicago Bulls beating the Utah Jazz 96-54, this extremely low-scoring game still placed number one of the worst in history with a deficit of 42-points.

Tom Cruise may be 54-years-old, but the legendary actor is showing no signs of slowing down. The Mummy is set to hit theaters this summer, and Cruise already has another film lined up for the fall. Who needs football when you’ve got Tom Cruise partnering up with Pablo Escobar to smuggle drugs!?

American Made is based on the real life exploits of Barry Seal (Cruise), who was a pilot in the 1980s that went from flying for a commercial airline, to working for the CIA and DEA, to doing all sorts of illegal shit. It appears that the movie will follow the guidelines of your typical drug smuggler film, but even though American Made looks predictable, it also seems like it’s going to be one helluva ride.

Pacino will play Joe Paterno, the winningest coach in college football history who becomes embroiled in the sexual abuse scandal surrounding his longtime assistant coach, Jerry Sandusky. The scandal challenges his legacy and forces him to face questions of institutional failure on behalf of the victims.

Debora Cahn (Grey’s Anatomy, The West Wing), John C. Richards (Sahara, Nurse Betty) and David McKenna (S.W.A.T., American History X) will pen the script. Levinson will exec produce with his producing partners at Levinson/Fontana, Tom Fontana and Jason Sosnoff, in addition to Ed Pressman, Rick Nicita and Lindsay Sloane. HBO will produce the film in association with Sony Pictures Television.

I am all in on this one, as I absolutely cannot wait to see those corrupt sons of bitches get the evisceration they deserve. Forget Tony Montana, Michael Corleone, and Satan himself, playing Joe Paterno will be the most evil character Pacino has portrayed yet.

This afternoon, Thad Matta was fired from Ohio State after there was some speculation that he would be around for another season. Matta was the Buckeyes’ men’s basketball coach for the last 13 seasons where he had an overall record of 439 wins and only 154 losses. Matta managed to take a struggling Buckeyes program and turn it into a Big Ten powerhouse after reaching the Final Four in 2007 and 2012 while also winning four Big Ten tournament championships.

Matta’s firing seems like a bit of a shock to some but the firing supposedly had to do with other factors besides his team’s poor 17-15 record last season. Matta was dealing with various health issues that affecting his ability to walk resulting from a botched back surgery that he had nearly a decade ago. That botched surgery has affected his right foot which he no longer has the ability to lift.

According to Sporting News, Matta originally agreed to retire after one more season with the Buckeyes. However, about two hours after that was reported, new reports came out that Matta was out as Head Coach effective immediately.

“I went through a year where I couldn’t walk. Couldn’t take my shoes off after a game.” said Motta via Nicole Auerbach of USA Today.

As tempting as it may have been for Ohio State to stick with its coach for another season, the Buckeyes got this one right. The most important thing for Matta right now is his health and he will now receive necessary time to recuperate. Matta was also asked by reporters if he would still be the coach assuming that he was completely healthy. Matta said that, if healthy, he probably would have still been coach via Rob Dauster of NBC Sports.

If Matta’s injuries are too much to handle and he is forced to permanently retire, he will be considered one of the best coaches in NCAA basketball history. In his 17 year coaching career, Matta had a winning percentage of 74% which would rank him 29th all time in NCAA men’s basketball history for win percentage as a coach.

Prior to his stint at Ohio State, Matta also thrived in Butler and Xavier where he had a combined record of 102 wins and 13 losses over five seasons. After going 26-11 with Xavier and taking them to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament, he decided to make the leap to Ohio State in 2004.

Ohio State has officially started looking for a new coach. However, one can only speculate at the moment who will be Matta’s successor. One potential issue that remains involves the current basketball players who committed to Ohio State specifically for Matta’s tutelage. With Matta now gone, these players could potentially transfer to other schools in search of proper guidance by another highly regarded coach.

After losing the first two games of the Stanley Cup finals, The Predators faced a must-win Game 3 in front of their home crowd in Nashville. The Predators were up to the task and defeated the Penguins 5-1 to prevent a potential 3-0 deficit against the defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins.

Predators’ goalie Pekka Rinne was criticized heavily for his performances in the first two games of the series which resulted in speculation about a potential goalie change for Game 3. The Predators’ coach, Peter Laviolette, decided to stick with Rinne despite all the speculation and Rinne came through with a phenomenal performance. In Game 3, Rinne faced 28 shots and saved 27 of them which was a vast improvement to the first two games of the series. To put it into perspective, Rinne had an average save percentage of 77.8% in the first two games of the series and then had a save percentage of 96.4% in Game 3. Going forward, Rinne will have to build on his Game 3 success and continue to play extremely well if the Predators have any hope of dethroning the defending Stanley Cup champions.

Throughout the playoffs, the Predators have relied on offensive contributions for a variety of players due to a lack of superstars on the offensive end. Unlike the Penguins who have superstars like Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, the Predators have relied on a wide variety of goal scorers to reach the Stanley Cup. Game 3 was a perfect example as the Predators had five goals which were scored by five different players. Look for that trend to continue in Game 4 tonight.

A huge factor in the Predators’ Stanley Cup run has been their incredible home-ice advantage. In these playoffs, the Predators have won eight of their nine home playoff games with their one lose coming in overtime. Their fans produce one of the most electric atmospheres in all of sports and are known for their chants that mock opposing goaltenders. Whether the Predators win or lose Game 4, I can guarantee that the crowd will be as loud as any other crowd in the league.

Bray Wyatt Vs. Roman Reigns

Wyatt tries to hit Roman with a Sister Abigail to start off the match. But Roman fights back hard. Wyatt exits the ring to avoid the onslaught. Raw commentator says that “Reigns has Wyatt stunned.”

We’re back from the break and both men are down. Wyatt gets to his feet first and goes on the assault, striking Roman and trapping him in a headlock. We see a clip of what happened during the commercial break, when Wyatt runs the ropes and demolishes Roman.

Reigns tries to battle back, but Wyatt drops him with a DDT. Wyatt goes for the cover. 1..2…kick out!

Wyatt doesn’t waste any time and traps Reigns in a headlock once again. But Reigns turns the tide and hits Bray with a Samoan Drop. Reigns drops Wyatt with a flurry of clotheslines.

When we return from the break, Wyatt has Reigns in a headlock once again. But Roman fights back with a devastating Superman Punch. Wyatt rolls to the outside but winds up eating a Drive-by Kick from Reigns. But Bray immediately recovers and hits Roman with a sick clothesline. Raw color commentator Corey Graves says that “Wyatt nearly decapitated Reigns.”

The Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity chapter as East Carolina University has been shut down due to risk management violations.

John Mountz, the Director of Greek Life at ECU, said in a letter that the Sigma Phi Epsilon national fraternity has revoked the charter of the chapter at East Carolina.

The letter says the decision was reached in unison with the local Sigma Phi Epsilon alumni and volunteer committee. The decision to revoke the fraternity’s charter was made after reviewing their recent history of risk management violations.

ECU communications director Andrew Parrish said the violations included a keg being thrown over a fence and damaging a vehicle and a charter member drinking on the house roof threw beer bottles at a house across the street, leading to a police response.

ECU Greek Life officials were notified by the Sigma Phi Epsilon National Fraternity that ECU’s Sigma Phi Epsilon would have its charter revoked.
In an email to Greek life, ECU Greek Life Director John Mountz said,

“While we are saddened to lose an active chapter from our community, we agree with and support Sigma Phi Epsilon’s decision to hold the chapter accountable to the Fraternity’s expectations.”

Mountz went on to say he fully expected Sigma Phi Epsilon to return to ECU in the future as they expand.

While the national Sigma Phi Epsilon organization blamed current chapter members for the incidents, current fraternity members placed the blame on brothers no longer associated with the house.

Sigma Phi Epsilon, which had been at ECU since 1961, had its charter revoked in December 2010 and remained suspended for the next four years. Similarly, the chapter was temporarily suspended in 2015 after a rape allegation and was reopened after the investigation.

The altercation was all caught on camera by a looky-loo who witnessed the whole thing through the drive thru window. It was 9 P.M. on a Saturday night in Des Moines, Iowa. The femme fatal of McDonalds showed up with two dudes, and they ordered a McChicken. And they wanted that order pronto or else…

This trio became super pissed when they felt that their order was taking too long. The situation escalated when the female of the group got so hangry that violence broke out. She began screaming at the employee before jumping over the counter and McBrawling with this poor girl just trying to do her poorly-paid job. “Grab her hair,” says one of the hangry friends.

The manager even forks over a McChicken, but the woman is so enraged that she throws it right at the employee’s face. Meanwhile, Amanda Gravely, 34, is waiting with her family at the drive-thru window

The federal government has made its first arrest in connection to the alleged Russian hacking the 2016 Presidential Election.

The Justice Department has charged Reality Leigh Winner, a 25-year-old Georgia intelligence contractor, with removing classified material from a government facility and mailing it to a news outlet.

Via NBC:

The complaint did not link the charges with the story, but a senior federal official confirmed to NBC News that Winner is the accused leaker of the document published by the Intercept. The NSA has a large facility in Georgia. The complaint says she admitted to printing out the document and mailing it to the news outlet.

It adds that the government found evidence that Winner “had email contact” with the news outlet, and that Winner was one of just six individuals who had viewed the intelligence reporting since the U.S. government published it internally.

Winner was arrested at her Georgia home by the FBI on Saturday, June 3. She faces a charge of “gathering, transmitting or losing defense information.”

She was a contractor with Pluribus International Corporation and had been employed at the facility since February. She held a top secret clearance.

However, Winner’s mother, Billie Winner-Davis, told The Daily Beast that she was shocked to learn about her daughter’s arrest:

‘I don’t know what they’re alleging. I don’t know who she might have sent it to. [DOJ] were very vague. They said she mishandled and released documents that she shouldn’t have, but we had no idea what it pertained to or who.’

Mark Zaid, a national security lawyer who frequently handles classified matters, said that Winner is not a whistleblower.

“It is titillating for everyone with respect to political bent as to whether the elections were stolen, perhaps,” he said. “But it has absolutely nothing to do with any waste, fraud, abuse, or—more importantly—illegal U.S. government conduct to justify leaking it.”

Zaid also said that Winner also likely would have faced charges under the previous administration.
