Tatum is the perfect example of a student who chose to stay close to home for college, but still managed to find a lot of new friends. Originally from the Memphis area, she decided in the end to stick around and is now having the time of her life. She seems extremely involved in a lot of community service work (like Memphis Joy Prom and Tim Tebow’s Night To Shine) but also in her sorority: ΑΓΔ.

Is there something more to this “covfefe” thing than what meets the eye? The real Donald Trump says on Twitter that “Despite the constant negative press covfefe,” and people went ape sh*t bananas with memes and jokes about this seemingly made-up word. We got covfefe all over this article, from the gallery all the way to the Twitter posts at the bottom of the page. But what does it all mean?!

Maybe he wrote “covfefe” to prove a point, that the media would attack him for absolutely anything. So, he ran his fingers randomly across the keyboard and, in effect, introduced a new world to our lexicon. This reminds me of the book Frindle, that my class read in the 5th grade, about a boy who invented another word for “pen.” In essence, “covfefe” is Trump’s “frindle.”

I’ll invent a new word too. I just heard the bus from outside my window pokdm.

Speculate on that, liberal media!

The other most likely scenario is that the guy made a typo that has earned a life of its own on the internet. Alright, alright, let’s get to dem dank memes already…

Of course, The Daily Show gave their take on the covfefe outbreak. They’re a bit obsessed with America’s orange-toned ham-of-state. He’s mentioned so much on their show that I even invented a smoking game surrounding this phenomena.

We’re in the middle of our second Grand Slam tournament of the calendar year and we’ve already been hit with our fair share of surprises.

The Ladies’ Singles was already seen as open as ever before with no appearances by Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, and Victoria Azarenka but after Angelique Kerber’s stunning loss in the first round, we’ve reached batshit crazy territory. I mean it’s stunning in the sense that she was the first No. 1 ranked player to lose in the first round, not stunning in that Kerber’s play has been disappointing recently. A clean slate is definitely necessary, perhaps a name change and a new visor.

The big players at the top have been feeling the struggle. Garbine Muguruza, last year’s winner, hasn’t been able to bounce back after topping Serena Williams. Karolina Pliskova and Simona Halep, the number two and three ranked respectively, have also haven’t been able to find any consistency.

That said, we should be grateful that we have Women’s Tennis to fill the void of competitive parity that the NBA has decided to leave at the doormat of Oracle Arena. In fact this year’s tournament reminds me of when Michael Jordan retired the first time where every team felt like they could finally had a chance. Except in this particular case Michael Jordan got knocked up, we miss you out there Serena. Maybe this will be Venus’s year to take the Suzanne-Leglen Cup, something that’s alluded her her whole career. We’ll have to stay tuned to find out, let’s leave the details here so you can tune in as well just in case none of us can wake up to catch it.

Comedian Kathy Griffin held a press conference today in response to the backlash she has received for her controversial photo. In the picture, Griffin holds a fake, severed Donald Trump head that’s covered in blood.

Jesus Christ, gimme a break. I’m no Trump fan either, but what did Griffin think was going to happen? The whole point of Griffin taking that photo was to stir the pot, and now that she got everybody all worked up, she wants to cry about it. Griffin knew damn well the kind of reaction she was going to get from her photo, as that was a calculated move from a fringe celebrity starving for relevancy.

I love how somebody asked Griffin if she thought this was going to effect her career. What career!?!? The fact that she’s painfully unfunny already did more damage to her career than that photo ever will.

At WWE Payback on Sunday, April 30th, Bliss conquered Bayley and became the first wrestler to ever win the women’s championship of both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live.

Okay, they didn’t technically go back in time, but I’m sure Chuck E. Cheese’s is a blast from the past to any COED compadre. I never went there as a kid, but I still remember those commercials.

Foodbeast’s Evan Lancaster went to Chuck E. Cheese’s high as sh*t. He was worried if him and his cameraman would get kicked out since they didn’t have a kid. Evan said he had trouble entering Chuck E. Cheese’s in the past, most likely as a result of being a potentially creepy adult. Either way, he was allowed in this time, high as a motherf**ker. Enjoy, folks!

What did we learn? Ingesting cannabis products can increase your appetite. Evan felt a sense of a paranoia, worrying that him and his friend would get kicked out of the establishment. June 3 is an excellent day to practice egg puns and recognize National Egg Day. It’s eggcelent (sorry).

One of the most perfect foods, eggs are packed with protein, amino acids and have no carbohydrates or sugar. They’re speggtacular (again, sorry).

As far as versatility goes, shoutout to Bubba because there may be more ways to cook an egg than shrimp. From the humble, hard boiled egg to the elegant souffle, eggs Benedict and Florentine; it’s all so good that you’ll be begging for more (I can’t stop myself at this point).

Even within the good old breakfast standbys like fried eggs, we have options. Over easy. Well done. Sunny side up. Basted. And a side of bacon with that!

Then, of course, it’s portable. Slap it between some toast and off you go.

HOW TO OBSERVE

Laredo police were on the search all throughout Friday for murder suspect Antonio Geraldo Rodriguez. But when officers spot Rodriguez’s vehicle, the suspect allegedly opened fire on police. When the spoke cleared, the suspect was dead and three officers were injured.

Detective Joe Baeza, the Laredo police spokesman, said that there was a manhunt for Rodriguez. He was the prime suspect in the fatal shooting of his 50-year-old girlfriend Reyna Gonzalez Zamora. She was shot in her apartment and police were on the lookout for her boyfriend.

What happened next?

At about 5 P.M. on Friday, Laredo police spotted a vehicle that matched the description of Rodriguez’s car outside a convenience store.

But as officers approached the vehicle, the suspect opened fire. Police responded with their guns, resulting in a shootout between the cops and the suspect. Responding officers, who arrived as backup, opened fire as well.

Rodriguez was severely injured from the shootout and died shortly after in  a Laredo hospital. Three officers have been hospitalized as well. One officer was airlifted 150 miles to the University Hospital in San Antonio, where he remains in critical but stable condition. The other two officers are staying at Laredo Medical Center, where their injuries are serious, but they have been stabilized.

Three blasts rang out at a funeral in Kabul, Afghanistan. People had gathered for the funeral one of a protester killed by police on Friday. Earlier today during his funeral, tragedy stuck once again during a bomb attack that has left at least 12 people dead and 87 injured.

The funeral was held for Salem Izadyar, the son of Mohammad Alam Izadyar, the first deputy chairman of the Afghan Senate. He was killed during violent demonstrations in Kabul yesterday.

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani described Saturday’s bombing as an “outrageous attack on mourners burying the martyred. The country is under attack. We must be strong and united,” said Ghani on Twitter.

According to Abdullah Abdullah, the chief executive of Afghanistan, there were three suicide bombers who disguised themselves among the crowd. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Mr. Abdullah attended the funeral service and was present during the explosions.

On Friday, protesters urged the government to improve their security measures as a result of a different bombing in Kabul, which proved even deadly. That attack took more than 90 lives and injured more than 450 people.

Yesterday, Police pushed back protesters in Kabul. Officers used water cannons, tear gas and opened fired on protesters with live rounds if they got too close to the presidential palace. However, the city’s people have claimed that some protesters fired weapons at officers during the violent encounter. In total, eight protesters lost their lives.

Protesters kept on demonstrating into Saturday, when the blasts occurred at the funeral of Salem Izadyar.

How will the international community respond to Afghanistan’s increased security threats?

It’s been more than 15 years after the United States invaded Afghanistan, and the situation of that nation has only deteriorated since. As a result, President Trump has considered sending thousands of American soldiers to support NATO’s military in the region.

In 2016, air strikes, explosions and violent clashes resulted in record-breaking civilian causalities. That year, 3,500 civilians were killed and 7,900 injured.

Bill Maher has been raising eyebrows and turning heads before many of us were even born. Now, it looks like big bad Bill has done it again. On Friday night’s Real Time, The HBO political pundit spoke to Republican Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska. Sounds boring, huh? Not when Mr. Controversy himself has a live microphone. Here is a guy who referred to the Quran as a “hate-filled holy book.” Yikes! What else will this guy say?

Apparently, a conversation about adults wearing Halloween costumes veered off into making a tongue-in-cheek slavery joke while using a variation of the “n-word.” He saw an opportunity to jump on race-related humor from a seemingly obscure conversation and he took it.

Here’s a snippet of the conversation:

“SASSE: “It’s frowned upon. We don’t do that quite as much.”

MAHER: “I’ve got to get to Nebraska more.”

SASSE: “You’re welcome. We’d love to have you work in the fields with us.”

MAHER: “Work in the fields? Senator, I’m a house n*gga.””

Many studio audience members laughed and clapped. Some groaned and then let out a reluctant laugh. Others left it at a groan or remained silent.

The senator did responded to Maher’s off-putting, taboo racial humor by saying, “No, it’s not a joke.”

Sasse later on Twitter to better address the incident. The senator condemned these remarks. Later, the internet responded with some real comedy. But first let’s check out the senator’s tweets…

People on the internet were bothered by Maher’s casual use of the “n-word,” especially while making a slavery pun. Some of these Tweets are pretty funny too.

Yep, Bill really knows how to stir the pot. You should see what this guy said less than a week after September 11th, 2001. That guy can piss people off no matter the year. I wonder what type of sh*t will come out of his mouth next…

Steel Cage match for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship: The Hardy Boyz vs. Sheamus & Cesaro

This match will be a most delightful encounter between the House of Hardy and Celtic Swiss. The team of Cesaro & Sheamus have been very dominant, imposing their will on Raw’s entire tag team division. I wouldn’t be shocked to see this team walk away with the titles. They’re stronger, younger, and possibly hungrier than the seasoned Hardys who have already accomplished nearly everything in the sport of professional wrestling.

But The Hardy Boyz WWE reunion tour is far from ova! Sunday’s encounter will just be another chapter in the Book of Hardy. They may lose the tag titles to Sheamus & Cesaro in the future. But I don’t see it happening at Extreme Rules. The boys from North Carolina will reign supreme inside that steel cage!

Dean Ambrose and The Miz have stepped up their game big-time on the Raw roster. Their feud over the Intercontinental Championship is just hovering below the main event scene. The Miz has been on a red-hot roll since the summer. When he tells the WWE Universe that he’s made the IC Championship more prestigious, he’s not lying. The Miz really is awesome, whether you like to admit it or not.

The Miz would receive an insane amount of heat if he wins a championship via disqualification. Just for that, I’d say slap the belt back on old Mizzy boy for a seventh time. The Miz can increase his track record with the Intercontinental title, while Dean doesn’t look bad because he never got pinned and he never tapped out (at least in this match).

Submission match for WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Neville (c) vs. Austin Aries

This feud has been dragging on since WrestleMania. The storyline hasn’t been the best, but the matches just keep getting better. Another loss to Neville would knock Aries down the ladder in the cruiserweight division. If Aries wants to progress, he can’t be shut down right off the bat in his WWE career. If Aries doesn’t capture the Crusierweight Championship on Sunday then he’ll have to work his way back up from the bottom.

Neville has been amazing heel for all of 2017. Hats off to the King of the Cruiserweights. At Extreme Rules, I foresee the downfall of this king. I see his helper TJP getting in the way of the match and costing his guy the title.

But I see another title reign in Neville’s future very, very soon.

Sasha Banks went from main-eventing a pay-per-view inside a Hell in a Cell to working a mixed tag match on the lower card. Poor, Sasha. She got the reverse Jinder Mahal treatment. She’s still a superstar, but you’d WWE would find a better spot for the purple-haired boss.

No matter the outcome of this match Sasha Banks will always be a recognizable face. Swann will still be a former Cruiserweight Champion. But Dar and Fox have been working their way up for the lower cards with their storyline since late 2016. They’ve worked hard and deserve this victory to help propel their characters into the limelight.

The main event may just be the hardest to predict. At first, I considered this match to be a toss-up between “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns and “The Demon King” Finn Balor. But now, I see things differently. Since Samoa Joe arrived on the scene in January of this year, he’s been a complete and utter wrecking ball in-and-out of the ring. Plus, WWE is looking for a new monster to replace the injured Braun Strowman. The Samoan Submission Machine fills that void, which is why he has been catapulted to the main event.

Samoa Joe will rise to the occasion and win this match, either by pinning Bray Wyatt or his longtime foe Seth Rollins.

Armed British police officers are now guarding the London Bridge after a man in a white van plowed through 20 people. At the same time, two men entered a restaurant across from the bridge and stabbed two people. According to reports, they may have stabbed up to eight people and slit the throats of up to three victims. The story is developing more and more by the minute. Refresh the page regularly for more information about the incident.

Update (6/3/2017, 11:09 P.M. EST): Nine people have died as a result of the twin terror attack in London. Six civilians were killed, while the three terror suspects died by gunfire. At least 30 people have been taken to a hospital to treat their injuries. Meanwhile, three suspects have been shot dead by police.

A witness reports seeing a van roll up on the pavement, hitting as many as six people. But a later report bumped that number up to 20 victims plowed down. This all went down at about 10:30 P.M. Saturday evening at the London Bridge.

BBC Reporter Holly Jones said she saw a man without a shirt being arrested on the scene. Here is a video of police moving in on the suspect. Police have successfully apprehended the man.

“We are dealing with an incident on #LondonBridge, when we have more information we will update this twitter feed,” the Metropolitan Police Department tweeted late Saturday.

Officers could be seen pulling people out of diners, bars, and restaurants and instructing them to run.

The bridge has been closed down until further notice. The London Bridge Station has been evacuated.

Let’s hear from the witnesses

“I was walking out of the London Bridge station and there were police,” Caroline Breniere said. “Some of them were coming by car, some of them were running. The traffic was stopped.”

Another witness had just exited a bar with his friends when he saw the aftermath of terror.

“We finished drinking at a bar and we came out onto the road and I looked to my left and there was a guy, we thought he was just drunk, he was lying on the floor,” the man told Sky News. “A couple seconds later, about three police vans flew past. The guys who were with the guy that was on the floor managed to flag one of the police vans down. One of the officers jumped out and started attending to the guy on the floor.”

BBC reporter Holly Jones was on the bridge when she saw a man in a van driving at “probably travelling at about 50 miles an hour. He swerved right round me and then hit about five or six people. He hit about two people in front of me and then three behind,” Ms Jones told the BBC News Channel.”

The BBC reporter saw five or six people being treated for their injuries. “I’d say there are about four severely injured people. They all have paramedics assisting them at the moment.”

How did US President Donald Trump respond to this twin terror attack?

Trump pledged his support to the United Kingdom. The 45th US President said, “Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U. K., we will be there – WE ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS!”

The Donald praised the travel ban policy, saying “We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts give us back our rights. We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety!”
