LaVar Ball Decides To Double Down On His Sexism, Releases A ‘Stay In Yo Lane’ T-Shirt

Last week, human clogged gas station toilet LaVar Ball went on The Herd with Colin Cowherd to make a further clown of himself, spewing insults at Cowherd’s co-host Kristen Leahy.

Refusing to look her in the eye, Ball’s interview was frankly disturbing, showing a man bordering on unhinged.

It was everything that’s wrong with LaVar Ball: unwarranted arrogance, disrespect, and delusions.

However, in classic LaVar Ball fashion, he’s trying to make a quick cash grab of the whole situation, as the Big Baller Brand website is now selling t-shirts that say ‘Stay In Yo Lane’ on them. Oh, and they’re also selling them in women’s sizes, even though Ball swore he was not concerned with selling to women.

I will say this — LaVar Ball is well on his way to becoming one of the biggest heels in the world, and it’s only a matter of time until Vince McMahon decides to sign him to the WWE.

At this point, all I can do is PRAY that Lavar’s ludicrousness will impact his son’s draft stock. Nothing would give me more joy than seeing LaVar Bell cost his son millions upon millions of dollars because of his own fat mouth.

Totally Legit New Study Says Magic Mushrooms Are The Safest Heavy Drug To Take

I should have titled this article ‘World’s Most Obvious Study Declares That Drugs From The Earth Are Safer Than Man Made Drugs’.

It’s kind of obvious when you think about it — LCD is literally made in a lab, cocaine and molly are laced with all sorts of dangerous shit, and then when you get to the real heavy hitters like meth and heroine, you know you’re flirting with death.

So yeah, obviously shrooms and marijuana are safer than LSD, MDMA, cocaine, and all of the rest of the world’s narcotics. Sure, it may get you more f*cked up than cocaine, but safety and sobriety are too different topics.

According to to this year’s Global Drug Survey, magic mushrooms are the safest recreational drug to take. In the study, of the more than 12,000 people who reported taking psilocybin hallucinogenic mushrooms in 2016, just 0.2% of them said they needed emergency medical treatment – a rate at least five times lower than that for MDMA, LSD and cocaine.

via Daily Mail:

This is around five times lower than that for the more popular party drugs MDMA, LSD and cocaine, it is believed. The findings come from the 2017 edition of the Global Drug Survey, regarded as the world’s most in-depth drug report. More than 120,000 people across 50 countries were quizzed.

Dr Adam Winstock, founder of the study, told The Guardian: ‘Magic mushrooms are one of the safest drugs in the world.’ He insisted the biggest risk for people wanting to consume psychedelic mushrooms was from picking and eating the wrong ones. Dr Winstock added: ‘Death from toxicity is almost unheard of with poisoning with more dangerous fungi being a much greater risk in terms of serious harms.’

Only 0.2 per cent of the 12,000 people who said they had taken mushrooms in the past year reported needing hospital treatment.

So there you have it folks, straight from the mouth of science — if you’re going to do drugs, trip shrooms.

WILD Footage Shows Argentinian Student Stab Classmate During Fight

Man, just straight lawlessness out of Argentina. I’d maybe expect this from a couple of dudes, you know, boys being boys, but seeing a couple of teenage girls going full prison rules on each other is a sight unlike any I’ve ever seen before. Kind of like seeing a dog on its hind legs, you know?

The video shows the horrific moment a 15-year-old girl stabs her classmate outside of her school with a kitchen knife. The attacked occurred outside the Maria Eugenia Waks School in the city of Saenz Pena, which is in the northern Argentine province of Chaco.

A video filmed by fellow students show the culprit grab the knife from her backpack. Other students can be heard shouting, “Celeste don’t do it,” but the teenager ignores them and begins to stab the other student violently.

Male voices can then be heard in the background shouting, “Not with a knife Celeste, not with a knife.”

Finally, other students step in to separate the two, pulling the knife off the girl, who then runs away.

According to local Argentine media, the injured girl girl, who is 16, was taken to hospital where she was treated for her stab wounds.

The assailant was caught Monday evening and is now being held in custody awaiting further action.

Woman With Bigger Balls Than I Jumps Onto Hood Of SUV To Stop Carjackers

A security camera captured the wild moment a woman jumped onto the hood of her SUV to stop a carjacking.

28-year-old Melissa Smith was pumping gas in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, when two men drove up next to her and attempted to steal her car on Tuesday, May 25. The footage shows Smith leaping onto the hood of the car and slamming her fists on the windshield in a brave attempt to keep the thieves from getting away with her car.

The thief eventually gave up and fled, forcing Smith to jump into her moving vehicle and put on its brake before it crashed. All in all, it’s one of the most badass videos I’ve ever seen, and I’m slightly turned on by the non-literal balls on this chick.

Smith, who was at a BP gas station on St Paul’s Avenue in Milwaukee around 2:00 P.M. when the incident occurred, told Daily Mail she was checking emails, which prevented her from seeing the Cadillac approach.

“My first thought was ‘This is not happening to me today’ and I guess my first reaction was to jump on of the car. I just had zero thoughts about how they could hurt me,” she said.

According to police, the suspects are still at large, but police who arrived on the scene fingerprinted Smith’s car.

Last week, we brought you the story of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity house at Rowan University burning down.

Ryan Alwine, 21, and his girlfriend, Elisa Obedoza, 23, were sleeping at the 411 Hamilton Road home when neighbors began knocking on the door to wake them up just before 4:30 A.M. After realizing the house, which is the university’s Phi Kappa Psi house, was on fire, Alwine and Obedoza grabbed what they could and got out.

Obedoza was able to retrieve her purse and jacket while Alwine was only able to grab his backpack and a few other things. A third resident, Jake Kershaw, who had just started living in the house, was also sleeping inside during the fire.

Now, the brothers of Phi Kappa Psi are offering a $2000 reward for information on the arson that destroyed their chapter house.

Via NJ.com:

A fire broke out at the house on Hamilton Road in Glassboro around 4:30 A.M. on May 16. The fire, which started in the garage and ripped through the house, destroyed three cars and all contents in the home.

Three people, two fraternity brothers and a guest, were in the home during the fire. A neighbor knocked, waking them and alerting them to the blaze. No one was injured.

The fire was deemed an arson by authorities and is still under investigation. The brothers of the fraternity are now offering a reward of $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Local authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Anthony Garbarino at the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office at 856-384-5619 or Detective Jack Manning at the Glassboro Police Station at 856-881-1501.

Virginia High School Includes Adorable Service Doggo In Yearbook

For a couple of weeks now, I’ve been debating buying a dog after summer ends.

I make decent money and by the time this year ends, I’ll be 25. If there was ever a time to get a pupper, it’s now. I’ve got the time, I’ve got the money, but most of all, I really just miss living with a dog. And I’ll tell you, this story right here may have pushed me over the edge into Dogville because I don’t know how much longer I can go without one.

I bring you now to Stafford High School in Falmouth, Virginia, where they made the excellently self-aware decision to include a student’s service dog in the yearbook.

Alpha follows 16-year-old Andrew Schalk to Stafford High School in Falmouth and detects when the diabetic teen’s blood sugar is too high or low through his incredible sense of smell. To the school’s surprise, the yearbook team agreed to photograph the black dog, who was captured looking adorably apprehensive in the bottom half of the frame right next to his owner.

Via Buzzfeed:

Schalk told BuzzFeed News that he has Type 1 diabetes and Alpha’s job is to alert him when his blood sugar is getting too low or high.

“He has saved my life multiple times already, by waking me up in the middle of the night to extremely low blood sugars, which are very dangerous,” Schalk said. Schalk said he started bringing to Alpha to school with him last year “to get him acclimated to the school environment so he would be prepared for this year.”

“He has become a huge part of my school, coming to my classes with me, and a lot of people know about him,” Schalk said. So he spoke to the people in charge of the yearbook to see if Alpha could be included in the yearbook, and they were 100 percent supportive.

As you can tell, Alpha is a very good boy, and almost makes me wish I had diabetes just so I’d have a reason to have a dog with me at all times.

Obama Administration ‘Knowingly Allowed’ Members Of The MS-13 Gang Into The United States

According to new reports, the Obama administration ‘knowingly allowed’ members of the notoriously violent MS-13 gang into the United States.

In an article published by The Washington Times, Sen. Ron Johnson, chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, claims whistleblower turned over Customs and Border Protection documents from 2014 detailing the 16 people who were caught crossing the border.

The whistleblower says that the Obama administration knowingly let in at least 16 MS-13 gang member teenagers in 2014, citing internal documents that showed the teens were shipped to juvenile homes throughout the country.

via Washington Times:

The gang members were part of the surge of UAC, or “unaccompanied alien children,” as the government labels them, who overwhelmed the Obama administration in 2014, leaving Homeland Security struggling to staunch the flow from Central America.

Officials at the time said the children should be treated as refugees fleeing horrific conditions back home — though security analysts said the children were prime recruiting territory for gangs already in the U.S.

Mr. Johnson said the image of UAC as little children is misleading. Out of nearly 200,000 UAC apprehended between from 2012 to 2016, 68 percent were ages 15, 16 or 17 — meaning older teens. The majority were also male, making them targets for gang recruiting.

Federal prosecutors believe that MS-13, or the Mara Salvatrucha, have thousands of members across the United States, most of which are immigrants from Central America.

They are a notoriously violent hang, with beheadings or amputations by machete being a common tactic of theirs.

This news comes after a rise in awareness of MS-13’s presence, specifically in the Northeast. According to the New York Post, the MS-13 gang is linked to a 38% of all the homicides in Suffolk County, Long Island over the last 16 months.

via New York Post:

Since Jan. 1, 2016, 17 of 45 murders in the county have been connected to the brutal gang, testified Police Commissioner Timothy Sini.

He said MS-13 engages in selling drugs, stealing and extortion, but unlike other gangs, the primary motivation isn’t to make money but to terrorize the community.

“MS-13 often engages in violence for the sake of violence,” Sini told the Senate Homeland Security Committee, “to increase notoriety of the gang and to cause communities to fear the gang and its members.”

The reason for this is that of the 165,000 unaccompanied minors the United States has placed since 2013, Suffolk County has gotten about 4,500 of them, with about 500 of those people being a part of MS-13.

Julian Edelman Net Worth 2017: How Much Is Julian Worth Now?

$

From college quarterback to NFL wide receiver, New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman has had to do his fair share of adapting over the years, having played all three sides of the ball in for his team. Since coming into the league in 2009, Edelman has been elected to the Pro Bowl, won multiple Super Bowls, and even dated supermodel Adriana Lima for a few months.

Edelman hasn’t gotten paid like some of the superstar receivers in the league, but he’s far from broke. Here is a look at how much Edelman is worth now and how he got to that point.

Julian Edelman Net Worth as of 2017: $9 million

How did Julian Edelman get here?

PHILADELPHIA – AUGUST 13: Julian Edelman #11 of the New England Patriots runs back a punt for a touchdown against the Philadelphia Eagles on August 13, 2009 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Photo by Jim McIsaac/Getty Images)

Edelman was taken in the seventh round of the NFL Draft with the 232nd overall pick. Bill Belichick chose Edelman with no true position in mind for him. He would find his niche at special teams and scored his first touchdown in a preseason game when he returned a punt for 75 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles. His base salary was $310,000.

Edelman’s salary steadily increases each year, along with his role in New England.

2010 saw Edelman on special teams along with the opportunity to get a few snaps at wide receiver. He was relatively quite at receiver up to Week 16, only having four receptions. This is when players like Wes Welker, Deion Branch and Aaron Hernandez were all ruled inactive in Week 17. Edelman got his chance and had 3 receptions for 72 yards, along with a 94-yard punt return for a touchdown. He accumulated $395,000. In 2011, he was asked to play snaps at defensive back because of the amount of injuries to New England’s secondary. This trend continued all the way until the AFC title game against the Baltimore Ravens and ultimately made him a $525,000 salary. The next year, Edelman dealt with the injury bug at different points of the season which held him out of a few games, but still caught 21 balls at receiver and returned 20 kickoff/punt returns for 301 yards while also reeling in $615,000.

Edelman came off his first summer as a free agent and decided to return to New England on a one-year deal. Looking for a big contract in the following offseason, he would have his best season to date by playing in all 16 games at receiver and catching 105 receptions for 1,056 yards. This one-year deal was worth $715,000.

Edelman signed a four-year deal in the offseason for $17 million. The year saw a lot of first-time accomplishments for him. It was his first year eclipsing the million dollar plateau in base salary, first pro-bowl selection, and first championship after scoring the game-winning touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 49. In 2015, Edelman played well until injuring his foot in week 10 against the New York Giants and was sidelined until the playoffs. Although he returned, he wasn’t the same and neither were the Patriots, losing in the AFC Title game against the Denver Broncos.

In 2016, Edelman collected his second Super Bowl ring and the most money on his salary to date at $2.5 million, not to mention having one of the most improbable catches of all time in a historic comeback in Super Bowl 51. Edelman is entering the last year of his deal in 2017 and could be in for a big payday come next offseason.

Montana Candidate Greg Gianforte Charged With Assault For Bodyslamming Reporter

Greg Gianforte, a Republican candidate in Montana, has been accused of body-slamming a political reporter.

Gianforte, a tech mogul who is running in the Montana special election, was recorded on tape allegedly slamming reporter Ben Jacobs to the ground on Wednesday, May 24. Jacobs’ glasses were smashed and he was carted off in an ambulance as a result. Jacobs, a political reporter, had been trying to ask Gianforte about his stance on healthcare.

The audio recording, published by The Guardian shortly after the incident, reveals Jacobs’ and Gianforte’s conversation. The incident took place at Gianforte’s campaign headquarters in Bozeman, Montana, where he had been setting up for an interview with a local news crew.

via The Guardian:

“He took me to the ground,” Jacobs said by phone from the back of an ambulance. “I think he wailed on me once or twice … He got on me and I think he hit me … This is the strangest thing that has ever happened to me in reporting on politics.”

Fox News reporter Alicia Acuna, field producer Faith Mangan and photographer Keith Railey witnessed the incident at Gianforte’s campaign headquarters in Montana, according to an account published by foxnews.com. After Jacobs asked Gianforte his question, Acuna wrote: “Gianforte grabbed Jacobs by the neck with both hands and slammed him into the ground behind him.

“Faith, Keith and I watched in disbelief as Gianforte then began punching the man, as he moved on top the reporter and began yelling something to the effect of ‘I’m sick and tired of this!’ … To be clear, at no point did any of us who witnessed this assault see Jacobs show any form of physical aggression toward Gianforte, who left the area after giving statements to local sheriff’s deputies.”

Jacobs reported the incident to The Gallatin county sheriff’s office, who said on Wednesday night it had completed its investigation. Gianforte had been issued with a charge of misdemeanor assault. However,  a statement by Shane Scanlon, a spokesman for the Gianforte campaign, blamed Jacobs for the altercation, saying that he “entered the office without permission, aggressively shoved a recorder in Greg’s face, and began asking badgering questions”.

“Jacobs was asked to leave,” the statement reads. “After asking Jacobs to lower the recorder, Jacobs declined. Greg then attempted to grab the phone that was pushed in his face. Jacobs grabbed Greg’s wrist, and spun away from Greg, pushing them both to the ground.

“It’s unfortunate that this aggressive behavior from a liberal journalist created this scene at our campaign volunteer BBQ.”

Microsoft Launching New ‘Netflix For Games’ Service

Streaming is the way of the future, and anybody in the tech industry worth a damn knows that. Gone are the days of driving to the store to pick up the latest Call Of Duty. In 2017, you can download it as soon as the clock strikes midnight on release day. So creating some sort of Netflix for video games was an obvious next step in the evolution of gaming.

Currently, Playstation has a service called ‘PS Now’, which, for $20.00 a month, allows users to play games from the previous generation, PS3. However, what Microsoft is set to offer is something entirely different.

With Microsoft’s service, called the Xbox Game Pass, users will be able to player 100 Xbox One and Backward Compatible Xbox 360 games for $9.99 a month. Also, unlike Playstation’s service, users will be able to download the game.

The Game Pass will update its catalog of games each month, and users will also have the option to download games, however, they must keep paying their subscription to play them.

via Microsoft

via Press Release:

Earlier this year, we announced Xbox Game Pass, a new digital gaming subscription service that gives you unlimited access to over 100 Xbox One and Backward Compatible Xbox 360 games for $9.99 USD per month. To ensure Xbox Game Pass provides the best experience possible for gamers, we rolled the service out first to the Xbox Insider Program, with a limited number of titles to test the features.

Beginning today, May 24, all Xbox Live Gold members will get exclusive Early Access to Xbox Game Pass, and can start their 14-day free trial before anyone else. This is our way of saying thank you to our valued Gold members for their continued support. On Thursday, June 1, Xbox Game Pass will be available for all users. That means anyone with an Xbox Live account can start their 14-day free trial and play over 100 games.

We know that a gaming subscription service is only as good as its catalog of titles, so we’re also excited to share the full lineup of Xbox One and Backward Compatible Xbox 360 games that will be available through Xbox Game Pass. At launch and beyond, our goal is to make sure there are great games to play for all gamers.

Thought You Ex Was Crazy? How About This Dude Living In His Ex’s Attic?

A 21-year-old Louisiana man who is suspected of living in his ex-girlfriend’s attic before attacking her has been arrested in Baton Rouge.

According to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, May 3, Taylor Broussard, 21, forced his way into the woman’s home and began hitting her following a verbal argument. A juvenile was also home at the time, who deputies said the woman shielded from Broussard while he continued to hit her.

After the assault police discovered that Broussard, the woman’s ex-boyfriend, had been secretly living in her attic and stalking her after he attacked her and stole her car earlier this month.

via WWLTV:

Deputies said Broussard then pulled out a knife and threatened the woman. Broussard then slashed the bed sheets and cut through the mattress and also damaged several other items in the room.

The woman was able to escape and went to a neighbor’s house to call for help, deputies said. Broussard stole the woman’s purse and phone and then stole an SUV and fled the scene. Upon further investigation, deputies learned Broussard had been staying in the attic, stalking the victim. Deputies found bedding, water bottles, food and plastic bottles filled with urine.

LPSO said they had been called to the residence a few days prior, on April 29, in reference to Broussard entering the house without permission. After several attempts to contact and locate Broussard following the May 3 incident, deputies have been unsuccessful.

Authorities have issued warrants for Broussard’s arrest for two counts of stalking, domestic abuse battery with child endangerment, domestic abuse aggravated assault, theft of a motor vehicle, felony theft, home invasion, unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling, and simple criminal damage to property.

Broussard, who is still missing, is about 6’2” tall, weighing about 160 pounds. His last known address is listed as a residence on South Kibbe Street in Erath. The stolen vehicle is a dark gray Mitsubishi Outlander with the license plate number XLG572.

Police are asking anyone with information on Broussard’s location submit a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers Bayou Region by phone at 1-800-743-7433 or online at www.crimestoppersbr.org. They are offering a $1000 reward for information that leads to Broussard’s arrest.

Well, Sure Looks Like ‘The Revenant’ Is Getting A Gritty, Down-To-Earth Reboot

I mean, I knew they were churning out reboots like candy, but The Revenant came out in 2015. Do we really need the guerrilla, down-to-earth reboot just two short years later.

But in all seriousness, even though I’d gladly watch a Revenant sequel, this is why I’m a big indoors guy. The nature is the animal’s domain, man. We’ve become too domesticated at this point. I don’t care how smart and advanced humans are– when a human and a bear shoot the ones, the bear is the favorite in that fight, ten times out of ten.

via NDTV:

Richard Wesley was near Fire River in Ontario when he spotted a black bear in a distance. The bear was going about minding his business, perhaps not bothered about the hunter’s presence. But roughly a minute into the video, when the bear walks in his direction, Richard Wesley tries to scare off the bear by making a loud noise. That doesn’t down go too well with the bear.

In split seconds, the angry animal charges at him throwing him to the ground. The camera falls and the confrontation between the two cannot be seen. But moments later, the hunter appears on the camera, surprisingly unharmed but shaken by the encounter that nearly killed him. The bear is nowhere in sight.

“I should have shot a long time ago. Scared me,” he says to the camera after the near death experience.

Somehow, Wesley was lucky enough to escape with just a bruised elbow after the near-death experience.

This is also why I stay away from Canada.

It’s summer, which means you need to start planning a great summer vacation with your girlfriend if you don’t want to be sent packing back out to the cold and desolate wasteland that is single life. As you peruse the many options available to you, you may come across Walt Disney World’s newest attraction – Pandora: The World of Avatar.

It’s exciting and new, which would definitely score you some brownie points with your better half. But at $99 per day, is it worth it? COED hit the park before it opened to get a little preview, so are some helpful questions and answers to consider before becoming one with Eywa.

Did You Like The Movie?

The 2009 Avatar is the highest-grossing movie of all time with $2.7 billion. A lot of people enjoyed director James Cameron’s alien world of Pandora with its stunning visual effects and environment. Now imagine all of that cool stuff brought to life before your eyes.

Pandora: The World of Avatar features the Valley of Mo’ara (floating mountains, glowing fauna & flora), the Na’vi River Journey (bioluminescent rainforest boat ride) and the Avatar Flight of Passage (which I’ll get to in a minute).

Basically, the park is like a drug trip without the drugs (though I’m sure being on drugs in the park would be cool too.

I’m not into theme park rides or virtual reality all that much but HOLY HELL IS THIS THE COOLEST EFFING THING EVER INVENTED. They didn’t allow us to take any pictures or video in there so I’ll try to paint you a nice word picture.

They give you these intense 3D-glasses and strap you into a bike-like module. The screen opens and you’re face-to-face with the absolute best 3D I’ve ever seen. You’re flying on the back of a mountain banshee during an exhilarating ride over the vast moon. The floor moves, slides and dips beneath you and wind and mist and alien aromas blast you in the face as you barrel roll your way through Pandora. Seriously, Maverick and Goose got nothing on this fly-by.

I did the Flight of Passage four times if that gives you any idea how awesome it is.

No, of course you’re not. But maybe your girlfriend doesn’t see that right now. So get back in the plus-column by planning this dope trip.

The Internet Took A Collective Steamer On The New ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Poster

$

I find it odd that Marvel & Sony feel they need to piggyback on Iron Man’s success in order to promote the latest Spidey flick, Spider-Man: Homecoming. While X-Men may have been the first in the comic book movie revolution, 2002’s Spiderman was the one that changed it all.

An entire generation of kids probably began taking an interest in comic book’s after Spiderman, myself included. Behind Batman and Wolverine, I’d probably put Spiderman as my third favorite superhero. Certainly in my top 5. And it was all because of those early 2000’s bangers.

Sure, the 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man and it’s sequel weren’t that great, but still grossed a bajillion dollars, and it was still Spiderman. The marketing was built it.

Yet, despite this, Marvel’s new poster for Homecoming strangely seems to feature Iron Man more prominently than Spiderman.

So why does Marvel Studios, who have a proven track record of introducing superheroes, feel the need to focus on Tony Stark’s Iron Man in their marketing? I’m not sure. Are they worried the new generation doesn’t recognize Spiderman as well as they do Iron Man? I doubt it. It also doesn’t help that the poster looks like it was made on Microsoft Paint.

However, luckily, the internet is the internet and was not about to let Marvel slide.

Drunk Woman Pretends To Be Blind, Robs A Friendly’s At Knifepoint

First of all, Friendly’s still being in business is the upset of the century as far as I’m concerned. The fact that there are still Friendly’s on Earth is the real story here. I thought that Friendly’s had gone the way of pay phones and Blockbusters, but yet here we are in 2017, and Friendly’s are still alive and kicking. I mean, yeah, they’re getting robbed at knife point by people pretending to be blind, but other than that — still kicking!

According to reports, an intoxicated woman who claimed she was blind allegedly robbed a waitress at knifepoint at Massachusetts Friendly’s

Police are currently searching for the unidentified woman, who approached a waitress in the Friendly’s located at 699 Hancock Street in Quincy, Massachusettes around 8 PM on Sunday, May 21.

The woman allegedly told the waitress that she was partially blind and asked the employee to lead her to the restroom before pulling the knife on her.

via Boston.com:

Quincy police said that the woman arrived at the Hancock Street restaurant around 8 p.m. Sunday. She then asked a server to walk her to the restroom, saying she was partially blind and unable to get there alone, according to police.

Once they reached the bathroom door, the woman allegedly pulled out a black knife and used it to threaten the waitress, demanding that she hand over all of her money. Shortly after the waitress complied, the woman fled the store and headed south on Hancock Street, police said.

Police are still searching for the suspect, who has been described as a white woman with dark hair and a medium build. According to police, she was wearing a black jacket, a pink shirt, and black pants.

“We are working with local law enforcement and due to the ongoing investigation we cannot comment any further,” Friendly’s said in a statement to Boston.com.

Furthermore, witnesses at the scene told Quincy police that the woman appeared to be under the influence of either drugs or alcohol.

Little Girl Who Was Attacked Sea Lion Is Being Treated For Rare Disease That Could End In Amputation

Last week, a six-year-old girl was attacked by a sea lion and dragged underwater at a pier in British Columbia, Canada. Now, she is being treated for a rare disease which can reportedly lead to amputation and even death.

The unidentified girl was bitten by the animal as she sat on the dock in Richmond, British Columbia. As she was pulled in, the girl’s grandfather jumped into the water and rescued the girl, who suffered minor injuries to her back.

However, according to ABC News, the girl is now being treated in case she has contracted a rare bacteria, mycoplasma phocacerebrale, which has a high degree of antibiotic resistance.  Vancouver Aquarium’s Deana Lancaster said the bacteria is incredibly harmful to humans and can event result in death.

‘If any member of our animal care team receives a bite from a sea or sea lion, they take a letter from our vet with them to the hospital, which explains that the infection is resistant to some antibiotics. The family saw the media reports and got in touch with us. She did get a superficial wound, and she’s going to get the right treatment.’

According to a 2009 published report, seal finger infections are caused by different kinds of Mycoplasma bacteria, which live in the mouths of water-based animals such as seals and sea lions. Exposure can often result in cellulitis, or soft-tissue infection, and untreated severe infections can lead to loss of fingers or limbs.
Lancaster said the infection can be tricky to treat, due to the fact that ‘mycoplasma bacteria are the smallest form of bacteria and do not have a cell wall, which is the primary target for many antibiotics like penicillin.’ Before the invention of antibiotic, seal hunters risked losing limbs to the disease.
However, luckily, Lancaster said the young girl is receiving all the proper treatment:

“The family saw the media reports and got in touch with us. She did get a superficial wound, and she’s going to get the right treatment,” Lancaster told ABC News.

Super Manly Men Are Upset They Can’t Attend A Woman’s Only Screening Of ‘Wonder Woman’

Back when I was a kid — I’m talking YOUNG, maybe 4, 5 or 6– around the time of Mother’s Day and Father’s, I would confusedly ask my parents, ‘Well, when is kid’s day?’

‘Silly, Eric,’ my parents would say.

‘Every day is kids day.’

That kind of logic applies to men. Men don’t need their own day, because they’ve been dominant, for like, forever. It’s 2017 and it’s time for men to realize that just because something doesn’t include them, doesn’t mean it’s an attack on their rights. The worst part is, none of the men in this story are actually angry about the matter at hand, but more about the principle they’ve made up in their head.

These idiots think that equality means everyone should be the same, but they’re missing the point. A woman’s only screening of Wonder Woman, the most iconic woman superhero of all time and one of the biggest symbols of feminism to ever exist, is a great idea, and anyone who disagrees is a sexist, straight up.

via Flavorwire:

The Alamo Drafthouse is a fun place to see a movie.  And they’ve been known to do special, targeted screenings from time to time – for veterans and active military, students, that kinda thing. So last night, they announced one such event: A “Women Only Screening” of Wonder Woman. From their website:

“Apologies, gentlemen, but we’re embracing our girl power and saying “No Guys Allowed” for one special night at the Alamo Ritz. And when we say “Women (and People Who Identify As Women) Only,” we mean it. Everyone working at this screening — venue staff, projectionist, and culinary team — will be female.

So lasso your geeky girlfriends together and grab your tickets to this celebration of one of the most enduring and inspiring characters ever created.”

However, predictably, a horde of sexists came out, bashing the theater and their women’s only screening. Luckily, the Alamo Drafthouse Facebook page was quick to shut them down.

University of Central Florida student Sami Adel Ammar is facing a felony charges after he changed his grade from an F to a B.

The University of Central Florida Police Department says that after completing just one assignment all semester, Ammar decided to illegally change his grade.

According to the report, On May 4, Ammar’s Electronic 1 Professor Chung Young Chan was alerted that a grades in his class have been changed. After the alert, Professor Chan noticed that Ammar’s grade had been changed to a B, which stuck out to him, because he knew Ammar had only completed one assignment the entire semester, according to the report.

UCF police were notified on May 5 and began their investigation.

via UPI:

Police said the professor tried to correct the grade, but received an error message. The professor said Ammar’s name stood out because he had only turned in a single assignment all semester, presumably to prove he was enrolled in the class for financial aid reasons.

UCF police said they were summoned to a school building the following day when two unidentified men were spotted in two staff rooms. The men were gone by the time officers arrived.

Police said the IP address of the computer used to alter Ammar’s grade was traced to one of the rooms where the men were seen. They reviewed security camera footage and saw Ammar and another student, Samuel Williams, enter the room.

Police say Ammar turned himself in Wednesday after a warrant was issued for his arrest, however, he was reportedly uncooperative during questioning. He was removed from campus and is facing a felony charge of accessing a computer without authority.

That is all the information available at this time, and this article will be updated should more become available.
