Newly released footage shows the shocking moment one driver shot and killed a gunman, Ronald Morales, in a shootout. Police say the driver won’t be charged for the shooting.

In the video, a motorist pulled out a gun when Morales, 43, approached his car at a gas station in Elmwood Park, Illinois. The men shot at each other multiple times in broad daylight before Morales ran away and the driver sped off.

Morales eventually died from his injuries, however, police say they won’t be charging the man who killed him because he was acting in self-defense.

According to police, on April 8 at 4:52 P.M., Morales made eye contact with a man who was pumping gas into his vehicle. Morales exited the convenience store at the BP gas station on Grand Avenue in Elmwood Park. Morales then walked over to the car and pulled out his gun.

Morales opened the passenger door of the car and then closed it before speaking to the man inside through the window. According to police, the man felt he was in danger and exited his vehicle armed with his own gun. The two exchanged gunfire for about five seconds until Morales ran away and the man sped off.

Police say the gas station’s ‘state-of-the-art camera system’ helped provide them clear footage of the shootout, saying it allowed them to quickly corroborate information gathered from eyewitnesses, the man who survived the shootout and the vehicle’s occupants.

Police say that because the man was acting in self-defense, and therefore, they won’t be pressing charges.

The big news out of the White House yesterday was the firing FBI Director James Comey. It was a brazen move by Donnie Freedom, considering that Comey’s currently heading up an investigation into Trump and his administration’s ties to Russia. Needless to say, firing the man who’s currently investigating you isn’t necessarily the best visual. Looks a litttttleeeee shady if you ask me.

I’ve written a lot about Kylie Jenner for this company.

And if we’re being honest, I’ve probably written about her too much. But she brings in the money and she’s certainly easy to look at, so whenever I can write about her, I do. It’s a win-win. But today, I come to you a humble man, as there may be more to the Kylie Jenner that meets the eye.

This week, Jenner, and her mother, Darth Vader, were visiting Peru where they met with children who need to undergo cleft palate surgery. Working alongside the non-profit charity Smile Train, Jenner created a special shade of her makeup that 100% of the proceeds go to the charity.

Now, before you’re all like ‘well, she’s super rich, she should be donating!’ While that’s a fair point, let me ask you this: when was the last time you donated to charity? Liu Yelin began working in 1985 at the tender age of 17. Thirty-two years later, the retired librarian looks pretty much the same.

Yelin’s radiant skin, incredibly fit body and lack of any and all wrinkles makes the China-born mother one of the most amazing physical specimens the Internet has caught wind of. Now, we’re here to share her hot Milf-ness with the rest of the world.

The months of summer are pretty tough for die-hard sports fans: college sports are on hold, basketball is finished, and baseball and NASCAR are really the only things going. Thankfully, college football is on the horizon. Tens of thousands of football players are spending the summer at their schools, working out, playing Madden, and putting in the sweat so that by the time the season comes back, they’re ready to win some football games.

The football players and coaches aren’t the only ones preparing themselves for the fall, though. College cheerleaders also stay very busy in the offseason, practicing their routines, doing more squats than you can imagine, and getting ready for their first home game.

Nicole Harper, a nurse from Kansas City, claims that when she was on a United flight from Houston to Kansas City, a flight attendant told her to urinate in a cup rather than leave her seat to use the restroom because of turbulence.

Harper, who claims she has an “overactive bladder,” said that she tried to use the restroom, but a member of the crew sent her back to her seat because the seatbelt sign was still turned on.

Harper responded to the attendant by saying she was going to need a cup.

“After explaining that I have an overactive bladder and would either need to use the restroom or pee in a cup, I was handed a cup by flight attendants,” Harper wrote in a Facebook post.

Harper, who was wearing a dress on the flight, said she squatted over her seat and filled two cups with urine.

Harper has filed a complaint with United Airlines and the Department of Transportation.

Ironically, she says her incident happened the same day a United Airlines passenger was knocked unconscious on a flight.

“I’ve been talking to them throughout this process. And they haven’t given me any sort of explanation or answers. They need to focus a little bit more on their paying customer and the customer service,” said Harper.

United Airlines released their own statement on the issue:

Customer safety is always our first priority. Initial reports from the Mesa Airlines flight attendants indicate that Ms. Harper attempted to visit the lavatory on final descent and was instructed to remain seated with the seat belt fastened per FAA regulations. The situation as described by Ms. Harper and our employees is upsetting for all involved. We have reached out to Ms. Harper and our flying partner Mesa Airlines to better understand what occurred.

I wasn’t sure I wanted to share this story… but #UnitedAirlines refuses to take my call, now I can’t sleep and just keep thinking about how wrong this situation was. I really don’t want to be known as the ‘girl who peed in a cup’ but if telling my story shakes #United a little more than so be it!! Anyone who knows me, knows my overactive bladder, here’s another story to add to the books.

“On the same day United Airlines drags a passenger off an overbooked flight, they forced me to pee in a cup… and then shamed me.

While allowing other passengers to get up and use the restroom on a seemingly uneventful flight, United Airlines crew wouldn’t allow me to get up and use the restroom until the pilot turned off the seat belt sign. After explaining that I have an overactive bladder and would either need to use the restroom or pee in a cup, I was handed a cup by flight attendants. Bad enough? No, crew then escorted me to the restroom (now it’s safe to get out of my seat), shaming me down the aisle while other passengers overlooked. The flight attendants treated me like I had committed a crime, stating they would be filing a report, calling in the hazmat team to clean the entire row (let me mention there was no mess involved) and told me I would need to talk with the pilot after the flight! I guess they would have preferred me to pee in the seat? After all they were the ones that gave me the cups knowing what I was planning to do with it. You would think peeing in a cup on an airplane in front my family and strangers, would be the worst part of this story. But the way I was treated by the flight attendants afterwards was worse. They were absolutely horrible to use the rest of the flight! And to top it all off, once on our final descent… a gentlemen got up from first class (yes the seat belt sign was on, and the plane was flipping tilted) walked right by a smiling flight attendant and entered the bathroom. What!?!?! Was I on candid camera? Where are the cameras right now!!!

There is absolutely no customer service on United Airlines, on or off of planes. Once we landed and got settled, I understandably submitted a complaint. After several weeks of no response, I called to talk with customer service, seeking at the very least an apology. After multiple attempts of resolving the issue, all I have been given is the run around. You can’t even call and speak with a customer service representative unless they “accept your call.” The employees that field the calls work for the reservations department… I asked to speak with customer service several times and was told repetitively this was not an option. They said they had not received my complaint (sounds like a great reason to have a human being take complaints, rather than relying solely on electronic submissions). So here I am, writing my complaint once again… this time being sure to submit it to United Airlines as well as other media sources, just to be sure it goes through.

As an emergency room nurse, I completely understand having a bad day on the job and having to deal with undesirable bodily fluids. What I don’t understand is ZERO customer service, if I treated a patient this poorly I would surely have consequences…

Rest assured, I will no longer be flying united, I will be cancelling our credit card, and I am hoping this goes viral. Because, quite frankly this was the worst flight I have ever been on and there are plenty others to choose from, others that treat people with human freaking decency.”

I’ve always felt like I was alone on this one, but I’ve always hated Steve Harvey.

His dumb bald head. His buck teeth. His accent. His general un-funniness. And yet, he’s everywhere. Honestly, it makes me kind of nauseous to even think about.

I don’t even hate Harvey because of the whole Miss Universe thing — I could literally give a shit less — it’s everything ELSE that I hate about Steve Harvey.

But before, it was a little difficult for me to justify my distaste. He’d never done anything legitimately wrong, and given the number of jobs he’s given, is clearly well liked.

Well people, I’m here to tell you I’ve been right all along: Steve Harvey is insufferable and if you didn’t think so before, this legitimately delusional email he sent to his employees should have you woke in no time.

Just about two months after Jan Ross, the wife of legendary WWE announcer Jim Ross, was killed in a car accident, Kathy Berman, the wife of legendary ESPN announcer Chris Berman, was killed in a car crash in Connecticut.

Berman died following a two-car crash near Woodbury, Connecticut. She was a teacher and was married to Chris for more than 33 years. The couple had two children together, Meredith and Douglas.

“This is a devastating tragedy and difficult to comprehend,” John Skipper, president of ESPN, said in a statement. “Chris is beloved by all his ESPN colleagues and for good reason: he has a huge heart and has given so much to so many over the years. We know how much his family means to him and all we can do at a moment like this is give him the love and support he will surely need at this hour. Our thoughts and prayers are with Chris, Meredith, Doug and the entire family.”

Jessica Chastain, 40, is an American actress and film producer who also happens to be one of Hollywood’s hottest red heads. How’s that for a triple threat, eh?

As many of these stories tend to begin, Chastain was born in a small town near Sonoma, California; not exactly a breeding ground for future Hollywood starlets. But the acting bug bit Chastain early at the age of seven and we’re all lucky it did.

IN 1998, she made her professional stage debut as Juliet in a production of Romeo and Juliet. The play helped her land an audition for the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City where she was accepted and even granted a scholarship funded by Robin Williams.

In 2004, Chastain made her television debut on the ill-fated Dark Shadows, The WB network’s 2004 pilot remake of the 1960s gothic soap opera. Just based on that sentence alone, I think you can guess the series never quite made it. In 2008, Chastain made her film debut in Jolene, with her performance earning praise from notable critics at the time.

Chastain’s real breakthrough came in 2011 when she appeared in a whopping six released, earning widespread acclaim for several of them. These films included Take Shelter, Coriolanus, The Tree of Life, The Help, Wilde Salome and Texas Killing Fields. Her turn in The Help wound up earning her an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress. One year later, Chastain was nominated for Best Lead Actress thanks to her work in Zero Dark Thirty. From obscure California town to a two-time Academy Award nominee? Not a bad rise.

More recently, Chastain has been seen in Interstellar (2014), The Martian (2015), The Huntsman: Winter’s War (2016) and Miss Sloane (2016).

An elementary school in Flint is on lockdown after reports of shots fired in the area.

Summerfield Elementary School went on lockdown around 10:00 A.M., according to Steve Tunnicliff, associate superintendent with the Genesee Intermediate School District.

What Happened?

“There were reports of shots fired in the area so we took the necessary precautions to go into secure mode,” Tunnicliff said. Summerfield is an early childhood center which is run by the GISD. According to Tunnicliff, a school resource officer was sent to Summerfield as a precaution. A Genesee County Sheriff’s Office deputy could be seen walking the grounds of the school around 10:30 A.M.

As a precaution, students were taken inside the building.

The lockdown was prompted by the shooting of a woman and a toddler nearby.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 10 to the 1800 block of Milbourne Avenue, between Paterson Street and Welch Boulevard.

The woman and child were taken to Hurley Medical Center and both initially listed in critical condition. The woman has been upgraded to good condition, according to police, while the child is now in serious condition.

Summerfield Elementary School

Tyleeb Reese, 35, opened fire on US Marshals and sheriffs’ officers when they came to arrest him for sexual assault at his home in Trenton, New Jersey.

A bystander was killed and three police officers have been injured in an ongoing standoff with the New Jersey sex offender who has barricaded himself inside a house after police arrived at his home around 6:20 A.M. on Wednesday. Reese was imprisoned for sexual misconduct involving a minor.

Richard Powell, a 56-year-old who lived one street away, was injured when the first shots were fired and later died in hospital. Furthermore, three Mercer County officers were injured during the standoff.

A standoff in New Jersey’s capital city between police and the man barricaded in a home is entering its second day. Officers on a bullhorn could be heard through the night, pleading with 35-year-old Tyleeb Reese to go downstairs and leave the Trenton home where he has been holed up since Wednesday morning. A robot even delivered a phone to him, so they’ve been in contact.

Keeley reports Reese has been shot in his leg and says he’s bleeding badly. Authorities say they have a medic ready to treat him outside, but will not go inside. Police say Reese started shooting when the U.S. Marshals Service Joint Regional Fugitive Task Force tried to serve a warrant.

A bystander who lived a block away on Lamberton Street, 56-year-old Robert Powell Jr., was shot and killed outside the home on Wednesday morning. Three Mercer County sheriff’s officers suffered minor injuries and were treated at a hospital, and then released.

According to The Trentonian, this isn’t Reese’s first run-in with the law. In 2002, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and served 36 days in jail. Then, in 2010, Reese was arrested for helping a fugitive, and was charged with hindering apprehension and resisting arrest. Also in 2010, Reese was charged with sexual assault. The offense occurred in January 2006 and Reese accepted a plea deal and admitted guilt to a criminal sexual contact charge. Reese spent 427 days in jail.

The slightly bemused man sitting to the right of the women was Andy Slater, a talk show host for sports radio station 940-AM WINZ based in Miami. Right place, right time, my man.

The woman who pulled down her top was part of a group of women known as “the Mermaids” Leavy often brings to Marlin’s games to help with the atmosphere.

The golden oldie himself is often spotted wearing his garish orange jersey sitting right behind home plate and will sometimes bring other spectators (including eye-catching women) along with him. Respect.

The 61-year-old principal of a Miami law firm has gained national attention in recent years for his ability to land the best seats at the biggest sporting events, usually within direct view of television cameras. Last night, it certainly came in handy.

Earlier in May, we brought you the story of LaDarrius Jackson, a University of South Florida football player who arrested by police on charges of sexual battery and false imprisonment after he allegedly forced himself onto a female student.

The 22-year-old Jackson, a defensive end of the USF football team, was taken into custody on Monday, May 1.

Now, just a couple of weeks later, Jackson has turned himself in to face further charges. According to the Tampa Bay Times, Jackson turned himself in for assaulting a woman in her bathroom and then ordering her to buy emergency contraceptive and drive him back to his campus.

The woman said she was in the bathroom at her Hillsborough County home back in March when Jackson asked her to shower with him, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

She spurned his advances and tried to leave the bathroom but 6 foot 4 Jackson blocked the door with his 248-pound frame, police said. He then grabbed her, forced her clothes off and sexually assaulted her, the authorities said. Jackson then forced the victim to drive to a nearby pharmacy to buy an emergency contraceptive. He ordered her to take in front of him, before forcing her to drive him back to his campus accommodation.

In the second attack on Monday, a separate woman claimed Jackson pushed into her dorm room while she ‘attempted to prevent him by placing her hands on the walls’.

In the earlier incident, Jackson forced a woman to have sex with him on Monday afternoon despite her verbal and physical efforts to resist him. He forced her into her room after she placed her hands on a wall in an attempt to stop him, the report says, then pushed her onto the bed and straddled her.

The victim told investigators she did not leave the room because she feared Jackson — who stands 6’4″ and weighs 243 pounds — would try to stop her, the report says.

Jackson was charged with two counts of sexual battery and false imprisonment. Team officials released a statement saying Jackson has been removed from all team activities pending an investigation.

And besides, there aren’t just any pictures. Given how closely the Kardashian Empire guards it’s greatest asset (Kylie Jenner’s butt), this may be the best look we’ve gotten at it yet.  Now, I know what you’re thinking — ‘What are you talking about, Eric? Kylie Jenner dumps it out all the time.’ And, while that may be true, you’re still wrong.

You see, I’m of the (decidedly ironic yet nevertheless somewhat possible) opinion that a Kylie Jenner sex tape could gross a billion dollars. I’m also of the opinion that the Kardashian’s have been carefully crafting and building Kylie’s mystique and sex appeal until it reaches a critical mass and they’ve got the world by the metaphorical blue-balls. Sure, she definitely shows it off. But not all of it. A tease here, a shadowy, grainy photo there. They give you just enough to be satisfied, yet keep enough hidden where you’re forever curious. Basically — we’ve never been given the money shot.

All of that is just a long-winded way of saying that this Kylie Jenner photo shoot is awesome cause we get a great picture of dumper. Nothing more, nothing less.

According to the NFL Players Association, the average career length of a footballer is 3.3 years, so it’s understandable why some players may be nervous about their job security. It’s especially understandable to be nervous as a 2016 fifth-rounder who just watched his team invest the No. 5 overall pick and a third-rounder into guys that play the same position as you. What isn’t understandable, however, is knocking some dude out cold for 12 hours as a result of your own insecurities, j’ah feel?

Such is the case for Tennessee Titans second-year wideout Tajae Sharpe, the third-leading receiver on the team last year, who just saw the Titans select FBS record-setter Corey Davis and Western Kentucky’s Taywan Taylor in the 2017 NFL Draft. CBS Sports reports that Sharpe is being sued by Dante Satterfield, who claims Sharpe went bonkers after Satterfield tried to discuss Tennessee’s selections with hp during the draft. According to the alleged victim, Sharpe and Titans’ teammate Sebastion Tretola asked him to meet them outside the back door of the bar.

“As soon as I walked out of the back of Tin Roof, that’s when I get punched to the face,” Satterfield told The Tennessean.

If Satterfield’s story is to be believed, Tretola served as the lookout man for the assault that left him with “broken bones in his face, a concussion, massive face bruising, a perforated eardrum and other injuries.” Satterfield also claims he was knocked unconscious for 12 hours.

Again, this a complete stranger to Sharpe who, at worst, talked a little bit of trash about some draft picks who haven’t even played yet. Sharpe, buddy, CALM THE F— DOWN.

Satterfield is seeking damages of at least $500,00 and has named both Sharpe and Tretola in his lawsuit.

Even if these allegations prove to be BS, Sharpe may still find himself out of a job because Davis can do stuff like this.

Carson Huey-You just completed his final exam at Texas Christian University on Tuesday and will be graduating Saturday with a degree in physics and a double minor in math and Chinese. Oh, and Carson is only 14.

“It didn’t come easily. It really didn’t,” the wunderkind told NBC DFW. “I knew I wanted to do physics when I was in high school, but then quantum physics was the one that stood out to me because it was abstract. You can’t actually see what’s going on, so you have to sort of rely on the mathematics to work everything out.”

Carson says it didn’t come easy, but that’s a relative term coming from someone who first expressed an interest in math at the thumb-sucking age of 3.

“He asked me if he could learn calculus and I thought, ‘Hmm, OK,'” his mother, Claretta Kimp, said.

Kimp took her curious young boy to a public school where they soon realized Carson had an eighth-grade comprehension of math, which was clearly “too advanced” for his age group. This discovery led to Carson skipping several grades and graduating from high school at only 10 years old. He was a freshman at TCU by 11.

But Carson isn’t the only prodigy in the family. His younger brother Cannan, 11, will begin classes at TCU in the fall and plans to major in astrophysics and engineering. He wants to be an astronaut one day.

Kimp joked that to her knowledge, there’s nothing special in their home’s water.

“I would hope what’s in everybody else’s water,” she said. “A lot of love and patience and understanding and commitment.”

The brothers work with TCU professor Magnus Rittby, who took Carson under his wing as a mentor.

“It was challenging enough with one of them,” Rittby said. “As I grow older, I want to tell people that age is not what people tend to think it is, and the same is for young people. I think you can take young people very seriously.”

Rittby said he made a concentrated effort not to “cocoon” Carson so that he would learn quantum mechanics and little else about growing up in other aspects.

“Just give him as many tools as possible to do good in the world,” Rittby said. “His potential is enormous to be able to do things nobody else has done.”
