Two American college students were killed in Copenhagen Harbor over the weekend when a ‘reckless’ jet skier crashed into their boat.

Linsey Malia, a 21-year-old junior at Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts, and Leah Bell, a Louisiana native and junior at Pomona College in Claremont, California, died following the crash. The two students were in Copenhagen as a part of a DIS – Study Abroad in Scandinavia course. They were believed to be celebrating the end of their spring semester when the crash occurred. Five other unidentified students who were on the boat were hospitalized, but have since been released, with none sustaining major injuries.

In total, six other people were injured in the collision near Langebro Bridge, which links HC Andersens Boulevard (between Tivoli and Rådhuspladsen) to Amager Boulevard.

The two women’s boat was rammed by one or more jetskis, and it is reported that several jetski riders fled the scene.

Jetskiing is illegal in the harbour, as well as water skiing and windsurfing, and the police have already arrested nine people who they suspect were involved in the accident, reports DR.

According to The Daily Mail, the women’s study abroad program said that Bell and Malia were on a personal boating excursion in the harbor with five other students when a ‘high-speed jet ski’ hit their boat.

‘Tragically, two DIS students were killed as a result of the accident,’ DIS said in a statement. ‘This incident is incredibly difficult. DIS is a strong community and the ties to these students involved in the accident are broad and deep. DIS is focused on individual support and counselors are available to all students.’

Jens Jespersen, a spokesman for the Copenhagen Police, declined to give further details about the fatal collision. According to reports, jet skis and other personal watercraft are not permitted in the Copenhagen Harbor without prior permission.

Stonehill College, the university that Malia attended, released a statement:

“The Stonehill community is deeply saddened by the loss of Linsey Malia ’18. As a peer mentor, a teaching assistant, a member of the Moreau Honors Program, a work study student within Athletics, and a volunteer with multiple campus partners. Linsey was a model student and member of the College community. We ask that the media give her family and friends space as they take time to process this tragedy and grieve.”

Furthermore, the Christ Episcopal Church in Louisiana identified Bell as the other victim in the crash in a Facebook post:

‘It is with overwhelming sadness that we write to inform you that the oldest daughter of Jeff and Liz Bell, Leah Bell, was killed in a tragic boating accident in Copenhagen yesterday during her study abroad,’ the church said in a Facebook post. ‘Jeff and Liz are on their way to Copenhagen and their daughter Rebecca is here with friends. Every loss is painful – and if we are human, we have or will experience such loss. But the loss of a child is particularly devastating. We ask that you please hold the Bell family in your prayers and close to your heart during this difficult time.’

Seriously, all because of Lavar, I am going to spend Lonzo’s entire career hoping for him to fail. Dean Ambrose Kicks Off Raw

Dean Ambrose starts off tonight’s edition of Monday Night Raw. He informs the audience that Kurt Angle will not be present this evening, so The Lunatic Fringe has been named as the new general manager for the night.

The Miz and his lovely wife Maryse make their way down to the ring. Miz informs Ambrose and the audience that Stephanie McMahon called him, and made the decision to make The Miz the co-general manager of the night alongside Ambrose. You can’t let The Lunatic run the asylum by himself.

Miz and Ambrose are still pissed at each other. But Dean extends the olive branch and tries to shake The Miz’ hand, but then…

Out comes “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman. He says he doesn’t care whose in charge. He’s still going to get what he wants. When Roman Reigns comes back, he’ll end The Guy for good. And after that, he wants Brock Lesnar. The crowd chants “YES.”

Braun continues to talk, but gets cut off by Kalisto’s theme music. Kalisto says, “You may not be done with Roman Reigns, but Braun, I ain’t done with you. Let me refresh your memory of what happened in the Dumpster Match. I bet you. And you still couldn’t take it like a man….Nobody treats me like garbage. I want a match, tonight!”

“You beat me on a technicality little man,” says Braun. “I crushed you like a little bear can.”

But Braun’s arm is in a sling. Strowman doesn’t think he can compete, but if he could he’d be able to beat Kalisto with one arm. So, Dean makes the match, and Braun doesn’t look too happy.

The Miz wonders what else is up The Lunatic Fringe’s sleeve. It’s nothing crazy…just The Miz verses “The Demon King” Finn Balor.

The Demon King’s entrance is epic as always. Finn is absolutely mopping the floor with The Hollywood A-Lister. Balor is knocking Miz senseless with his fast-paced maneuvers and devastatingly sick kicks. The Miz is reeling, ducking outside the ring next to his wife, as we go to commercial break.

We’re back from the break, and now The Miz is the one who is kicking ass. Miz has Balor grounded. We see a clip, showing Finn chasing Miz around the ring, and The Miz knocking Balor off the ring apron. The Hollywood A-Lister is in complete control of Balor.

The Demon King tries to fight back, but the veteran Miz knocks him back down. The Miz has stiff knees and kicks of his own. Miz gets Balor in a headlock. Finn rallies back, but eats a kick. But The Miz eats an even harder kick.

Balor is back with a flurry of offense. Finn is beating The Miz in-and-out of the ring. He almost kicked his head off. Corey Graves says, “that kick may be catastrophic for The Miz’s acting career.”

Finn is about to put away Miz, but Maryse climbs up on the ring apron and distracts The Demon King. The Miz exits the ring, and grabs a microphone. He informs the referee that performers should not put their hands on acting officials, so you must disqualify Finn Balor. The referee calls for the bell.

Co-Raw GM Dean Ambrose comes out and restarts the match. The Miz says that Dean can’t do that, but the ref rings the bell, and Balor immediately attacks The Miz. Finn brings Miz to the ring, and makes short work of The Hollywood A-Lister. One Coup de Grâce from Balor and it’s all over.

Aaron Saucedo, 23, of Phoenix, Arizona, has been arrested and charged with nine murders that occurred over the last year. Saucedo is accused of being the man behind the separate slayings, which police have previously described as the work of a serial killer.

What Happened?

Saucedo was apprehended on April 19 on suspicion of killing his mother’s boyfriend in 2015. While in custody, authorities connected him to separate killing which all took place in Latino neighborhoods between March and July of 2016.

Phoenix Police Chief Jeri Williams said at a press conference Monday that the arrest brought the families of the nine victims “closer to justice.”

“Our hearts go out to the surviving families. Today we are closer to providing them the justice they deserve.”

Authorities have been investigating the killings for more than 12 months. As the hunt wore on, police began calling the suspect the “serial street shooter.”

The murderer randomly opened fire on pedestrians and cars in west Phenix, killing seven people between March and July last year.

The murder took place in a handful of different cars, including a black BMW 5-series and a white Cadillac. Detectives produced sketches based on witness and survivor descriptions and even offered a $75,000 reward for information that might lead police to the killer. In April, police arrested Saucedo while investigating the death of 61-year-old Raul Romero, who was dating Saucedo’s mother at the time.

Detectives closed in on Saucedo when they learned he owned a 9mm handgun at the time of the murder. He pawned it shortly after Romero’s death. Following his arrest, Saucedo has also been charged with a January 2016 killing.

Overall, he faces nine separate murder charges.

A former Russell County high school teacher Alabama has been arrested for inappropriate sexual behavior with a student.

According to the Russell County Sheriff’s Office, Jeremy Brock Bumgardner, 26, was arrested on Friday, May 5, and was charged with engaging in a sex act with a student and transmitting obscene material to a child.

Bumgardner was a history teacher and coach at Russell County High School in 2016 when the offense took place.

A local woman who wishes to remain anonymous says she is one of the parents who turned over evidence against Bumgardner. She says the suspect was a social studies teacher at Russell County High school and coached girls soccer.

She says she found Bumgardner had been using social media to send sexually suggestive images to her daughter. The woman also says she is aware Bumgardner also had similar relations with girls on the high school soccer team.

Russell County Sheriff Heath Taylor said investigators first became aware of the situation on May 1 and worked on it until the arrest was made May 5.

Bumgardner, who is no longer employed at the school, was given a $15,000 bond for the sex act with a student charge and a $5,000 bond for the transmitting obscene material to a child charge.

Yesterday, the big story of the day was former acting attorney general Sally Yates appearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee to testify about Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Yes, that’s still happening.

However, that wasn’t even the biggest bombshell of the day. No, that was when former Obama administration officials revealed that President Barack Obama warned Trump against hiring Michael T. Flynn to be part of his national security team when Obama and Trump met in the Oval Office two days after the November election.

Now, Trump didn’t address this revelation, because, of course, but he did respond to the Senate hearings.

Well, that was quick.

Just about six weeks after Workaholics concluded its seven-season run, the guys are already back in our lives, this time at the wonderful home of Netflix.

Not much is known about the project other than the fact that it obviously stars Adam Devine, Anders Holm, and Blake Anderson, that it’s called Game Over, Man!, and that it will be released on April 20, 2018, in case you couldn’t already tell that it was going to be a stoner movie.

As for the plot itself, the IMDB description says the movie is about “three friends on the verge of getting their video game financed when their benefactor is taken hostage by terrorists.”

Given his recent little run of success, I had worried that Adam (the little dude on the right) was going to big-time the rest of the gang. Especially with Workaholics ending, I thought Devine was going to go the Kevin Hart route by selling his soul to Hollywood and becoming a caricature of himself.

But with this latest announcement, it’s clear Devine and the gang as a whole know where their bread is buttered and that they’re funniest together.

Enraged passengers clashed with police at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida on Monday night. Women were thrown to the floor and arrested as 11 flights were grounded and 26 were delayed.

What Happened?

Confrontations between passengers and airport staff turned ugly when police got involved after several delays and cancellations. The specific group of passengers who became entangled with the officers were upset that these last minute changes would force them to miss a graduation ceremony. A mob of irate customers began beating the counters and screaming at staff, prompting airline employees to call the police.

You can see the incident unfold in the video below.

In the video, you can see women attacking officers and being thrown to the floor.

Other passengers gave a round of applause when the women were being escorted out.

The conflict erupted in the departure building as passengers waited to board flights. One woman in a pin dress appeared to be thrust to the floor as she and the officer fell over the ropes used to control lines in the airport.

Additional video footage sees men and women, believed to be traveling to a graduation ceremony, being led away by Broward Sherrif’s Office officers. One passenger can be heard singing Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” as the passengers are hauled away.

The disrupted flights are said to be a result of the ongoing negotiations between Spirit Airlines and the Airline Pilots Association.

Stan Lee, 94, is one whacky dude. Anyone who has caught a glimpse of the legendary comic-book writer and publisher in any one of his countless Marvel cameos can attest to his sense of humor. I mean, just look at that picture. The dude is the GOAT, no doubt about it.

Obviously, Marvel movies are kind of a big deal these days. But what people seem to forget is that the roots of all of these blockbuster movies stretch way back to Lee in the 1960s. Without him, none of you would be laughing at the wisecracks of Star Lord, Iron Man and Spidey.

With that in mind, how much money has Lee made over all these years? We’re glad you asked.

Stan Lee’s Net Worth as of 2017: $100 Million

Though Lee himself has tried poo-poo his net worth in public comments, it’s clear that the guy has made some serious cash in his day. Let’s take a look at how he did it.

1960s

In the 1960s, the comic book industry was suffering. Characters were growing stale and sales were down. Way down. As a result, Lee was preparing to make a career change to support his wife and family. Shortly before he made the decision final, publisher Martin Goodman tasked him with creating a new superhero team. As Lee already had one foot out the door, his wife pushed him to experiment with stories and characters that interested him, rather than create the same cookie-cutter fluff that was common at the time.

We all owe Ms. Lee a debt of gratitude as her advice led to the creation of the Fantastic Four. Lee and illustrator Jack Kirby gave his superheroes character flaws and vulnerabilities, a stark departure from the Boy Scout perfection of Superman and other heroes of yesteryear. That proved effective as the Fantastic Four became an immediate best seller for the company and opened the doors for Lee professionally.

Over the next decade, Lee would have a hand in creating some of the most beloved and iconic characters in comic book history: Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, the X-Men, Daredevil, Doctor Strange and Marvel’s most successful character in history, Spider-Man. Lee and Kirby than cobbled many of these characters together to form The Avengers team.

1970s

In the ensuing years, Lee would go on to revolutionize the comic book industry. His “Marvel Method” of production – in which the artists are used as co-plotters for the story and the script came after the images – became the assembly line system of comic book production. He infused Marvel with a friendly tone that ingrained fans and readers to the company far more than their arm’s-length rivals.

In this time, Lee also pushed the boundaries of comic book content. His stories touched on relevant social and political issues such as the Vietnam war, current elections, student activism and drug use. These more serious and grounded stories – along with Marvel’s emphasis on character focus – earned widespread praise from the industry.

During this time, Lee introduced a series of new characters including the Inhumans, Black Panther and comics’ first African-American superhero in the Flacon.

In 1972, Lee stopped writing monthly comic books and assumed the role of publisher.

1980s – 1990s

In 1981, Lee moved to California to California to develop Marvel’s TV and movie properties and expand the company’s brand.

During this time, Lee was credited as a producer on 13 different projects ranging from animated TV shows to live-actions films. The list includes: Pryde of the X-Men (1989), Captain America (1990), Fantastic Four (1994 – 1995), Iron Man (1994 – 1996), Generation X (1996), X-Men (1992 – 1997), Biker Mice from Mars (1993 – 1996), Spider-Man (1994 – 1998), The Incredible Hulk (1996 – 1997), Silver Surfer (1998), Nick Fury: Agent of Shield (1998), and Blade (1998).

It was around this time that Lee transitioned into more of a figurehead role with Marvel, though his influence and would be credited as one of the driving forced behind the superhero boom that was about to take place.

2000 – Present

In 2000, 20th Century Fox released the well received X-Men, which arguably helped to kick off the superhero craze entertainment fans currently find themselves in. In the last 17 years alone, Lee has earned a staggering 120 production credits with countless more writing credits and popular cameos in nearly every major Marvel movie.

Though Lee doesn’t have much to do with the publishing side of Marvel or the company’s growing media empire, he does receive a minimum $1 million a year from the company.

I’m a Yankees fan, so you’ll have to excuse me for laughing at the currently under .500 New York Mets and their “ace” Matt Harvey. Harvey, 28, is still more of a bro than he is a major league pitcher, which I both enjoy and mock relentlessly.

Harvey was suspended by the Mets for three games last week for undisclosed reasons. Now, Page Six reports that the pitcher was partying at 10AK in New York City until 4:00 A.M. on Cinco de Mayo before texting team officials that he would be unable to attend a game that weekend due to a migraine. Really, dude? You went with the migraine-text strategy? That’s amateur business, son. I’ve broken up with girls with less ammunition.

According to Page Six, witnesses claim Harvey was seen drinking champagne, tequila and vodka as he threw back drinks during his night out on the town. In addition to the suspension, Harvey was fined $82,219 (which is, like, whatever when you’re earning $5.1 million in 2017). Harvey is reportedly fine with the fine, but upset with the suspension as he notified the team he would not be at the game when he woke up Saturday afternoon.

Harvey told FanRag that he woke up Saturday feeling fine and went out golfing with friends in the morning. He then went home, had lunch, and took a nap before being woken up by Mets security at his door at 10:00 P.M.

The team claims the men were sent to check on Harvey’s well being, while the former All-Star player says the men grilled him after he opened the door in his pajamas. Well, dude, when you give some lazy bulls— excuse as to why you won’t be at the game, that tends to happen. I realize you weren’t scheduled to pitch, but it’s not like I cut out on a staff meeting just because I’m not presenting.

This incident also came in the wake of Harvey allegedly placing a large black dildo in teammate Kevin Plawecki’s locker as a joke, an image of which went viral after being tweeted out by the team unknowingly and then reposted online by a number of outlets. Really funny, bro, you’re hilarious. After baseball, maybe you can negotiate a comedy special with Netflix. Ooh, maybe you can be in the next Kevin Hart movie?!?!

I wouldn’t be so hard on Harvey (or so amused) if this was his first run-in with trouble, but it’s not. In 2015, Harvey missed a mandatory team workout before the 2015 playoffs and was fined. He’s also made some, err, questionable public comments. Plus, it’s not like he can get away with this kind of stuff with his current level of play.

In his first season after having a rib removed during surgery to treat thoracic outlet syndrome, the 28-year-old Harvey is 2-2 with a 5.14 ERA in six starts covering 35 innings.

He is coming off two of the worst starts of his career, allowing 12 runs over 9 2/3 innings with eight walks in a pair of losses to Atlanta.

Come on, Florida. Really? I know I pile on sometimes, but when I first saw this video yesterday, I didn’t even CONSIDER the possibility that it happened in America’s bunghole. But, lo and behold, it was, and here we are, piling on Florida again.

Yesterday, I came in pretty hot with this article about a disrespectful, no-good POS essentially RKO’ing an elderly woman stranger for asking them to turn the music down.

It was horrible, disgusting, and one of the more disturbing things I’ve seen since I started working here. In the article, I asked how many years should they give the dude, presenting the options of 1, 5, 10, and 20. In my eyes, it was essentially aggravated assault.

However, today, a little more information has come out — the man responsible is not a man at all, but a teen. Sure, he’s 16 years old, but 16 is prime bad decision-making time. So, while I don’t absolve the kid for his actions, I’m less incensed knowing he was just a stupid kid. But, how do I know he’s just a 16-year-old kid? Because he turned himself in.

Nancy James is a board member at the Players Place Townhomes in North Lauderdale. She said she went to the pool area at the complex to warn a partying crowd that they needed to turn down their volume. Seconds later, as the crowd ganged up on James, a man in a red shirt picked up James. He appeared to slip on the wet ground and slammed her to the ground. Then he picked her up again and threw her and one of her dogs into the pool.

James has bruises on her shoulder and leg, but she says she’s OK now that the teen turned himself in. Broward’s Sheriff’s Office said the 16-year-old arrived at the North Lauderdale substation with his mom and attorney by his side on Monday evening. The teen is being charged with battery on a person 65 years of age or older and is being held at the Juvenile Assessment Center in Fort Lauderdale.

According to the BSO arrest report, the teen admitted what he did. “I messed up and I have to own up to it,” the report quotes him saying. The report added the teen’s mother brought along the red shirt her son was wearing in the video as evidence.

So, good on this kid for doing the right thing and owning up to his crime, but what’s up with mom being a grade-A snitch about the whole thing? Like, f*ck mom, I’m already turning myself in, you really gotta bring some evidence? What’s the point? Real bitch move on mom’s part if you ask me.

In the eyes of the law, Aaron Hernandez did not murder Odin Lloyd. Massachusetts judge E. Susan Garsh vacated the former NFL star’s murder conviction in the case of Lloyd Tuesday morning. Hernandez’s record will not reflect a conviction as he did not complete the automatic appeals process for his 2015 first-degree murder conviction.

What Happened?

A judge abated the former New England Patriot tight end’s murder conviction in the case of Odin Lloyd, which was handed down on April 15, 2015.

“The court is compelled to follow binding precedent,” Judge Susan Garsh said. “Abatement is the law in this Commonwealth and this court is required to follow that precedent,” Garsh said.

Massachusetts law includes a long-standing legal principle that has courts traditionally vacate the convictions of defendants who die before their appeals are given. Hernandez committed suicide last month in his prison cell as he was serving a life sentence for the 2013 murder of Lloyd, a former friend of Hernandez’s and a semi-pro football player.

“The longstanding rule is…abating the entire prosecution as if it never happened,” Garsh said.

Shortly after Hernandez’s death, some began to ask if his infant daughter is entitled to the remaining $15 million guaranteed in Hernandez’s 2012 contract with the Patriots. When Hernandez was initially arrested for murder, he was still owed a portion of his signing bonus and salary – roughly $6 million – from the team. Boston attorney Brian Haney believes his family could make a legal case for that money (the entire $15 million is unlikely), though it would ultimately be up to a judge.

Aaron Hernandez was selected by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. After outperforming his contract, Hernandez signed a seven-year deal worth nearly $40 million with New England in 2012.

In 2013, Hernandez was arrested for the murder of Odin Lloyd. He was convicted of first-degree murder in 2015 and sentenced to life in prison.

In April 2017, Hernandez hanged himself in his cell at the Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center. Because he died before exhausting all of his appeals, his conviction has been vacated.

Man, Kanye has really gone all in on being delusional, huh?

Don’t get it twisted, dude has ALWAYS been acting like a nut, it just came in spurts. Kanye’s manic actions would only pop up sporadically. Now, it’s the norm. You expect Kanye to act like a total loon and you’re genuinely surprised when he shows some semblance of logic and reason.

The last time we saw him on camera was during a Valentine’s dinner date with Kim. He didn’t even hit the stage at his own Yeezy fashion show. And, obviously, he hasn’t performed since his hospitalization in November. Yeezy’s definitely trying to disconnect … he’s scrubbed his Instagram and Twitter profiles.

Multiple sources tell us this has nothing to do with problems at home or problems with his head … it’s all about creating music.

Honestly, I’m all for whatever the hell Kanye needs to do to give us more TLOP-sounding music and less of Yeezus sounding music. If Kanye goes up into the mountains and comes back down with more experimental Yeezus shit, I’m going to go ahead and call it a career for Kanye. He’ll officially be lost in the sauce, and by sauce, I mean Kim Kardashian’s evil snatch.

Whatever, though, with the likes of Chance, Kendrick, J. Cole, Joey Badass, and more in the game these days, do we even still need Kanye? Probably not. Now all that’s left for his career is to follow the Kardashian Plan and get himself a sex change.

Tyerell Przybycien, an 18-year-old in Utah, has been arrested after he helped his friend buy the materials to commit suicide and took a video while she did it.

Prosecutors allege that Przybycien, 18, from Spanish Fork, Utah, told police that he ‘wanted to watch someone die.’ He was arrested and taken to the Utah County Jail on Saturday for investigation of murder and reckless endangerment.

The deceased girl, who has yet to be identified, was found hanging from a rope in a tree around 7:30 A.M. on Saturday. Near the body were plastic bags one containing a handwritten note from the girl stating that ‘if there were any questions to watch the video,’ a cell phone, and a receipt for the rope with Przybycien’s name on it.

Utah County Sheriff’s Sgt. Spencer Cannon said the two can be heard talking to each other as they made preparations.

“You can clearly see the victim (in the video) with a noose around her neck while standing on a rock,” the investigating officer wrote after charging the phone and watching the recording on it. “Przybycien is heard asking the juvenile to say something. The female victim then inhales a large dose of the industrial strength air duster and loses consciousness.

“Przybycien then continues to film this incident on camera for approximately 10 to 11 minutes. Przybycien never offers assistance at anytime, and can be heard asking her to move or say something.”

Cannon said the girl, who was reported missing by the Spanish Fork Police Department that morning, was friends with Przybycien and that they were at a store together purchasing the supplies found at the scene.

Furthermore, according to Cannon, the girl struggled with mental health issues and thoughts of suicide in the past. However, investigators do not believe Przybycien encouraged her to kill herself.

Police said that Przybycien returned to the scene of the crime while officers were still there:

“He confessed to purchasing the industrial strength air duster, purchasing the rope, driving the victim up to the location, helping tie the noose, and filming the incident which resulted in the death of the victim and taking no action to stop it or render aid,” the affidavit states.

“Przybycien also stated that he, too, was suicidal and wanted to watch the victim die to see if it was something he could go through with himself. During questioning, Przybycien also expressed feeling that he was responsible for her death and that she would still be here if he hadn’t helped her.”

Investigators do not believe Przybycien physically forced the girl to tie the noose around her neck or inhale the air cleaner.

When asked if this was supposed to be a suicide pact, Cannon said, “There may have been some consideration of that.”

As of Tuesday morning, Carter’s tweet boasted around 3.5 million RTs, besting DeGeneres’ record. When the talk show host first heard about Wilkerson’s campaign, she enlisted the help of Bradley Cooper to bolster their own numbers. Together, the two created a hilarious PSA which you can watch below.

Wilkerson was invited to be a part of the show and received a big screen TV and a year’s supply of Ellen underwear in an attempt to “incentivize” Carter to not break her record.

Wilkerson’s Follow Count Skyrocketed From 150 to 104,000

While on Ellen’s show, Wilkerson revealed he had just 150 Twitter followers when he first began his campaign. Now, just five weeks later, he has more than 104,000.

Carter explains that the morning after he posted the tweet, he woke up to 50,00 retweets. “I thought I was dreaming. I was dumbfounded– it was crazy.” Ellen jokingly responds, “Well it is crazy.” Before leaving the show, Ellen threatened, “If you pass me, Carter, I will come to your house. I will take that TV back, I will take the underwear back, and I will… do more.”

Wendy’s Is Paying Up

When Wilkerson broke the RT record, Wendy’s announced that they would give him free nuggets for a year and make a $100,000 donation in his name to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption.

In a statement, Kurt Kane, the chief concept and marketing officer for The Wendy’s Company, said, “You’ve more than earned our respect … and the nuggets.”

Wilkerson told the New York Times that he has always thought of following in his parents footsteps and becoming a dentist, but now he says he is considering studying marketing.

High School Athlete

Wilkerson, the oldest of four siblings, runs hurdles in track and is the captain of his high school’s football team. According to the New York Times, he only created a Twitter account in the first place to follow sports teams and find funny memes.
